K & A Mechanical

Incredibly quick and honest service!  I have used K&A on several occasions for plumbing and gas line issues, including one emergency on a weekend.  Their work is superior and prices very fair.  Would not hesitate to recommend K&A for any plumbing or gas line needs.

Bob and Gary at K&A Mechanical did an excellent, thorough job in evaluating our leach field concerns.  This was the 3rd company we had out and the only one that did a full analysis giving a knowledgeable solution.  Debra got the crew out right away and recommendations were made.  A truly professional family run business.

WARNING  - Never hire this company!!!!  I recently had $30,000 in water damage due to flooding caused by construction blockage. I contacted K&A Mechanical to bid on repairing a plumbing issue and to move a washer from my main floor to my basement.  During the inspection of my plumbing, the K&A plumber commented how familiar my home was.  As he was leaving he remembered that he recently was at my house twice because of the same back-up issue with the previous owner.  I asked him what he discovered when he ran a camera.  He said the previous owner did not want to have a camera run due to the $100 expense.  He quickly went back to the basement and physically pointed out exactly where he believed construction debris was causing the blockage.  He also mentioned how that the previous owner was having the wall repaired because of the water damage.  Afterwards the K&A plumber called me and said he did not want to bid on my job, because I was pursuing legal action against the previous owner, based on what he had said.  He believed it was a conflict and did not want to get involved.  Later the K&A plumber reneged his comments in a letter to the previous owners lawyer.  He said he never said the previous owner refused to have a camera run.  He also said a camera small enough to scope where the blockage was did not even exist. Another plumber, who ultimately removed the construction debris, ran a camera small enough to fit thru the pipe to verify what I had told him the K&A plumber had said.  A plastic disc, left behind from construction, was exactly where the K&A plumber had told me it was.  The K&A plumber basically called me a liar.  I believe, based on my conversation with K&A, since they did not remove the plastic construction disc causing the blockage, it resulted in flooding, that caused over $30,000 in damage.

Great customer service!!!! Gary maintained our ancient system for years. He is always prompt, knowledgeable, and reasonable.  He recently installed a new system we are very pleased with. We highly recommend K & A!
