I would highly recommend Irrigation Genies (formerly Dan's Sprinklers) for any repair/service for your sprinkler system. In the past 6 years, they replaced my vacuum breaker, a leak in my line, and then they do start-up and winterization each season. I am happy that I found a reliable and trustworthy company to help take care of our home.

The customer service that they provide is exceptional and I am always grateful to have them for any repair/service that my system requires. They are very knowledgeable and they are always open to answering questions to help us learn and understand our sprinkler system. The cost of their service is always reasonable as well. We are always happy working with Irrigation Genies and we look forward to continuing to work with them.

$418 for just over an hour of work. Had 1 broken sprinkler needing the location adjusted 2 inches over. Swapped out a few nozzles. I would say they're overpriced. Called the office requesting they remove or adjust the $100 charge for A comprehensive inspection of the entire system not approved by customer. Not sure what the inspection was. I told him this sprinkler head is broken. and the grass is brown over here. make the water hit it. Pretty basic. I'll youtube how to fix this in the future and at $400/hour I should consider a career change.

Dan was awesome! I was in a pinch looking for someone to start up and troubleshoot my system, but everyone I contacted had a wait-list into late June. Dan went above and beyond to squeeze me into his schedule, and was able to solve the issue quickly and at a good price.

I wasn't home when he arrived, but Dan did a great job of figuring out what was going on and communicating with me throughout the process, only proceeding with repairs upon approval. He also made recommendations for future improvements and maintenance. I highly recommend working with Dan!!

They cancelled my service today May 11 due to weather, I get that. BUT (in all caps) wouldn't reschedule me until late June. They prioritized the upcoming schedules and left those of us with no service today in the lurch. They even suggested finding someone else!!! They don't value their customers.

Well, they charge 100 dollars just to come out and look at the sprinkler system, and a fee for the drive as well. Before they even replaced or modified our system, we were down 125. They then changed out 4 sprinkler heads.... ready for this.... $325... Initially, for 6 sprinklers, they wanted $475. Imagine charging 80 dollars for a sprinkler head replacement (12 dollars for the sprinkler head and 65 bucks to install it (otherwise called unscrewing the old one and screwing in a new one. Mind you, it took them 5 minutes per sprinkler head. lol

Get rid of the service call fee.

Highly recommend!

Although it took about a month to get them out (partially due to my schedule), I had nothing but a great experience with Dan's Lawn and Sprinkler company. From the first time reaching out to Dan and sending videos/photos so he could give me a virtual diagnosis and pricing to the time of booking the appointment with Annette, the confirmation text from her the day before (on a Sunday!) and then the lead technician, Chris, and his apprentice, Deon, everything was great. Chris walked me through each of my stations, made adjustments and provided recommendations. Chris was never trying to up-sell me on system upgrades and gave me honest suggestions on what needed to change, which also aligned with Dan's recommendations. I never got the sense they're in it for the money and therefore would recommend them out and will use them in the future if/when needed.

I was able to hire Dan's team to evaluate and get my sprinkler system up and running later in the season when all other businesses were too busy to accommodate my needs. The system had been decommissioned by the previous owner upon selling the home to me last year and I had no idea where to start. It ended up needed some repair that I was unaware of but wasn't completely surprised due to its age. My technician Chris has been incredible going above and beyond to assist with minor issues since I've been up and running at no extra charge and has always been a text message away with any questions I've had. He took the time to go through exactly how everything functions and was more than willing to explain how I can make basic improvements on my own versus insisting it would require additional professional work. The team arrived promptly, spoke clearly and Evaluated the house's irrigation system for roughly 40 minutes. Charged me $70 for site visit and $30 for trip fee for a total of $100. They proceeded to tell me that I probably didn't want to spend hundreds if not thousands to get my system back online. Guess not with this company.

We recently hired dan's sprinkler to blow out our system in preparation for winter. We requested a quote, and were told a $70 price. This is slightly better than we paid in years prior which is around $75. We were contacted the day before and given an appointment window. The workers showed up on time, were polite, and had the job completed quickly.
So why the 2 stars? Their pricing was deceptive. After the work was complete, the bill was for $120 due to a $50 trip fee being added on to the $70 quote. This puts the price at wayyy higher than average for a sprinkler blowout. How do you blow out someone's sprinkler system without driving to their house? This charge should have been included in the overall price vs a secret add on fee. I guess we've learned to ask more questions in the future!

Terrific service and wonderful communication.

I hired Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler to help me fix a leaking sprinkler head. They texted me when they were en route to my house and when they arrived. The service was quick, professional, and solved my problem. Both team members were wearing masks and remained six feet away from me at all times.

Exceptional is the single word I'd use to describe Dan, his team and their work.

I had some real problems with my sprinkler system due to a cracked pressure vacuum breaker backflow prevention device and a broken sprinkler manifold.

Of course it happened right as the spring started and when sprinkler repair is in the highest demand.

Dan and his team were always diligent in their follow through and very honest and transparent about repair estimates and improving what was already there with better materials to prevent a similar problem after the next winter season.

Over the last 10 years this is the best sprinkler repair team I've ever encountered in Denver. Fair pricing and very reliable.

A leak in my irrigation system had created a small lake in the front yard and, after three visits from other vendors, nobody seemed to be able pinpoint the problem. Chris and Pete from Dan's Sprinkler were on time (or early) for both visits, stayed beyond their initial 60-min consult to help identify the leak and were super friendly and knowledgeable. Annette in the main office was able to bump us up in the schedule to get the leak fixed as quickly as possible. While the folks at Dan's readily admit they're not the cheapest option out there, you get what you pay for - I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

My husband and are new homeowners and couldn't figure out how to get our sprinkler system on for the season. I requested quotes and availability from a few companies and most said they could help us out no problem for around $100 but we'd have to wait 2-3 weeks. Our dying grass couldn't stand another few weeks!

Dan asked me to text him photos of our system and he texted us specific instructions on how to get back up and running. We texted back and forth for about 30 minutes and he offered his advice for free. Our sprinklers are now woking no problem! Dan is very knowledgeable and I believe he is more interested in helping homeowners than taking their money. We definitely would recommend him and will use his services again!

I had them come out for a sprinkler blowout. They arrived within the service window, and texted 15 minutes prior so I would know they were arriving soon. They were friendly, quick, clean, safe, and reasonably priced. I've used them for two seasons now both for blowouts and in the spring for getting the system back up and inspected and adjusted. I have no complaints, perfect service that I'll keep using every year.

Really fantastic service. Fair price, great work, excellent communication. We're renovating our back yard this year, and he helped get our system ready for it. Which included a couple of repairs, a full test, and seasonal blow out. Then he made suggestions for improvements we could make in the future, but didn't try to sell me.

I was on a short visit to my daughters and found that we didn't know how to work the new sprinkler system. Tried a few companies but all were booked for 30 days. So was Dan's. I explained to Annette that I was only in town a week and she really was helpful and even through they were booked until late June she got back to me in a day and squeezed in an appointment. Thank you again Annette she went above and beyond due to our situation. Chris and Pete arrived and were very professional. They assessed the system and began their work. They taught my daughter how to use the system and checked everything out and in no time we were good to go and up and running. The whole experience was awesome. Message to Dan the owner .....you got a great crew and great customer service for Annette to make it happen when a dad was under the gun. Highly recommend.

Saved me weeks of waiting and lots of money!

I called several different companies for service, and the next day I received a message via text they had an appointment for the following day, so I took it. Other company gave me a quote of 1000+ dollars by just me sending pics. Chris came out and fixed the problem(open valve from last year's blowout) along with fixing a leaking pipe. Saved me about 900 bucks and at least 2 weeks of waiting. Not to mention it was on a day when the temp was hovering around 100, he didn't try and sell me anything, did the repairs as well as some pointers to look for.
Best experience with any company that I have had in a very long time, highly recommend these guys!

Bob was great! He came out the first time to help me get the system started. We had a bit of mystery because we couldn't find all the controls but Bob got it up and running. He was very straight forward about what needed to be done, what I could get done to improve it, and what will probably need to eventually be replaced. It made me feel a lot better to get a better handle on what I had (a really old system).

Dan and Bob came back to do the blow out. They were both really friendly and very informative. I would totally recommend.

I initially contacted Dan through Yelp and got a quick response. I really appreciate that he asked for photos/sketches to help him diagnose the problem and spent time helping me figure out what to do before he even came out. That is above and beyond in a big way. When he did arrive, Dan was very friendly and spent the time to answer my questions and point out future issues I might have. Even things like his invoice write-up were thorough. Do be aware that he charges a trip fee (advertised up front) that definitely bumps up the bill. I was a long-haul for him, so I understand, but those kind of add-ons always rub folks the wrong way. Communication was excellent throughout the process - such a rare trait these days. I did feel like the prices were extremely high, but getting my problem solved quickly and professionally was worth a lot to me. Overall I really liked Dan and he helped me diagnose and repair my problem with great communication and good responsiveness. I would definitely recommend him - just make sure you understand his pricing before-hand.

I've used Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler to start up and shut down my sprinkler system for the past couple years. They've always done an excellent job. This year, I decided I would try starting the system up on my own after watching one of Dan's video's on YouTube. Not only was that video incredibly helpful, but when I ran into a snag, I called Dan and he actually walked me through how to fix the leak I was having! We had two technicians service our home and they did an excellent job. They arrived early and were very polite. They set up our sprinkler system, fixed the handful of items that needed work, and took the time to thoroughly explain our system to us so that we know what we're doing going forward. We were very satisfied with the customer service and care we received and plan to use them going forward for our winterization and start-up services.

Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler quoted me $400 to replace my entire valve system for a leaking sprinkler head buried underground SIGHT UNSEEN. For a company to provide such a high estimate without even visiting the property is highly unprofessional. Many repair companies will not provide estimates without first visiting the site for this exact reason. The issue was resolved by simply capping the sprinkler head using a part that costs less than $10.

They also unsuccessfully repaired another leaking head and attempted to charge an additional $275. After leaving our property, the head continued to leak. I had another company come assess the situation and they suggested I replace the damaged head with a sprinkler head that has a check valve. The part was purchased from DBC Irrigation Supply for less than $4 and stopped the leak immediately.

Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to schedule a repair date with Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler, as also mentioned by another reviewer. They are very slow to respond. On several occasions, I had to resend the same email requesting repair to even receive a response at all. Very poor customer service.

I do not recommend this company and will not be using their services again.

My vacuum breaker gave up the ghost and Bob was able to come by quickly and do a great job replacing it with good quality parts. You could certainly tell there was experience behind what they do.

It was fair pricing for good quality work. Go for cheap and you'll be sorry in my opinion, but too many people also wildly overcharge. I was glad to find Dan.

These guys are legit. Bob is terrific. I wish all vendors would be as helpful as him. They provide a comprehensive assessment of your irrigation system. They fixed a few problems and sought approaches to keep costs down. When we settled on the invoice, I was very pleased. The total cost was more than fair. Far less expensive and greater value than the electrician and plumber that I had to hire in recent months.

My experience with Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler was positive from start to finish. I quickly received a quote and appointment. They were very communicative about when Chris would arrive. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had all of the tools and materials needed to fix it on the spot. Inquired through yelp about having my sprinkler control panel replaced. Quoted a fair price through text, was able to get the tech, Chris, to our house quickly. Our sprinkler system had a big leak at the lowest point. It was eroding our lawn away into the creek below and we needed to get it fixed ASAP. Dan's Sprinkler got us scheduled within a week or so and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. I was a bit skeptical when they arrived as Anthony and Clayton seemed really young but they were extremely knowledgeable and professional and got everything up and running right away! They even taught me some things I didn't know about my anti-syphon valve and get me some pointers for winterizing my system.

Dan and his team are amazing!

When the team first came for a sprinkler blow out, they quickly were able to diagnose some issues with freeze damage. They took some photos, documented everything, explained it to us, and helped us set some time with Dan for that following weekend.

That weekend, Dan came out and fixed the immediate issue, but then noticed there were a few things that were set up incorrectly from poor workmanship from our builders. While my immediate instinct was to panic, Dan calmly explained everything to us, what all of the issues meant, how we could protect the house and the pipes in the meantime, and repair as much as he could with the system as is. He then went on to photograph & document everything, later pulling together a comprehensive explanation that we can take to the builders so that they can make good on the incomplete system they put in.

Dan went above and beyond! He could have just told us that he couldn't blow out the system as is, but he instead spent a great deal of time to make sure we understood everything. We will definitely continue to use and refer him!

When you call the company phone number you automatically go to voice mail. The voice mail says basically don't leave a message but e mail me, that is the best way to get ahold of me. I e mailed at 9am Thursday and didn't hear back until until 9pm Friday with only Any chance to get some pictures. I expect better service response time than that for a top rated Yelp company. Quite disappointing.

Dan was able, due to a cancellation, to come to my house and winterize my sprinkler system on the day I contacted him. Not only timely, he:

1. Walked me around my entire system and taught me what each part was/did. As a new home owner and first time sprinkler system user, this was invaluable.
2. He taught me how to winterize and de-winterize my system in the future. He also gave me a great handout showing me the entire practice. This is huge - he's more concerned with training you on simple things to do than making it so mystified you have to pay him or another person each year.
3. He also taught me some things to look out for in case there is a leak or needed repair. Because he did this, I was able to spot a leak in one of my valves before winter has come and I'll be able to save/avoid what would have been a costly fix! Instead of having burst pipes, I'll have a easy repair that does not cost much.

Overall, contact Dan and have him come help you for all your needs!

Dan is the man!!! Called Dan to come out and do a sprinkler blowout. Well it just happen to be last week when we got a big snow storm. Every place I called pretty much laughed at me for thinking I could get a fast appointment...but not Dan. He made it out to our house that same day. It didn't matter that it was 6:30 at night and there was a heavy snowfall going on. Dan showed up, was super nice, and did a great job! We will be using Dan's Lawn & Sprinkler from now on.

It took them days to respond to my initial request, each subsequent response took a week, and then they didn't respond to my emails or calls to set up an appointment. They may be good if they decide to work on your system, but I couldn't get them to come out.

I'm officially a fan of Dan :) I recently moved into my very first house and know absolutely zero about sprinkler systems - so when I saw Dan's yelp reviews I figured this was the right guy for me. He absolutely is a five star rating (I'd rate him higher if able). Not only did he talk me through and help me understand my system, he went above and beyond by taking the time to actually physically show me how to do the basic shutoff myself. This guy is AMAZING. I called for a blow out, they responded quickly, and was able to get me in quickly as well.
I have an area in my lawn that is saturated with water so I asked for his opinion on what it may be because I keep getting told it's my yard. He took a look for me and found my water meter was damaged and had been leaking pretty bad. Had he not took the time to just look around for me I would have never known. It doesn't explain the water issue in my lawn but you can't really trouble shoot it with a broken water meter either. I was just grateful that he took the time to look for me.

Don't research any further if you need any sprinkler work done. I've had three sprinkler guys in the last two years and there were always problems of some sort. Today Matt came over, tested the system, walked me through the issues, made all necessary repairs, offered up valuable advice, charged a very reasonable amount. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is the company you want in your home-maintenance arsenal.

Got Dan's name off of Yelp and he was great to deal with. Dan was able to set a time quickly and early in the morning. The work was done well and efficiently for a very reasonable price. This was just a repair of a broken head but I would call again for any size job.

I needed my sprinklers blown out before the snow, went on Yelp to request some help and got a response from this company. They first said they could come out on the 10th which was great and then said no the 9th would be better (which is today). Annette the receptionist inform me, if my neighbor's can go in they would waive the $30 travel fee. I informed her my mother-in-law may be interested but I didn't want to confirm for my mother-in-law until I spoke to her, however I still wanted to take the appointment today from 10 to 2. Gave my mother-in-law the information, my mother-in-law called her twice and left a voice message she has not received a call back. I called her yesterday the 8th to follow up for my mother-in-law and inform her my name and said this is in regards to my appointment we scheduled for tomorrow the 10th from 10 to 2 on the voice message. I never received a call back. I called her this morning to give her the heads up in regards to our situation, my husband has two broken ankles and it will take him some time to answer the door. She responded with frustration you never followed through to confirm your appointment so it was not scheduled. I informed her we spoke and I confirmed it. She continued on with your mother-in-law, your mother-in-law, your mother-in-law. I said I confirm my appointment and not my mother-in-law's but mine was still confirmed. She went on to argue with me and tell me how she's been overwhelmed with phone calls for the past couple days and that we were not scheduled. I feel this company needs another receptionist if you can't handle the the volume of calls. And the fact that I was in need and talked to you twice and you had no I'm sorry no empathy at all. So now I'm scrambling to find someone to help because my husband has (two broken ankles and this is why I'm paying for this service) before the snow tomorrow!

After calling two other sprinkler companies in my surrounding area, I placed a call to Dan. Although his operating hours said the company was closed due to the early morning hour, Dan answered and was happy to discuss my sprinkler needs. Dan asked for a few pictures and said he might be able to get to my house same day. The other sprinkler companies could not even call me back in the same day! After sending Dan the pics, he priced the the job and stated he would be in touch if he had the time. Dan sent me a text around noon saying he would be by between 2 and 3. Sure enough, Dan showed up and ready to get the job done. Not only did Dan complete the work, he stayed late educating me on sprinkler workings and inner guts of sprinkler boxes, he switched out a sprinkler head and fixed a tear in my drip line surrounding my yard. Great company, great service and a great owner. I will refer this company to anyone looking for sprinkler repair as Dan went above and beyond what he was expected to do. Thank you Dan!

Dan was quick with the winterization service. He went through all of the zones twice to make sure all of the water was out of the system. He kept pitchimg his year warranty for any future sprinkler system work. I'll be calling them in the future if I have any problems with my sprinklers. I would recommend them to my friends.

I was referred to Dan's Lawn & sprinkler by my neighbor just after moving to a new neighborhood. He answered the phone on a Sunday afternoon and made the appointment for the next day.

He was friendly, professional and so FAST. He repaired a broken line, replaced broken sprinkler heads and gave me helpful tips on how to keep the system running as it should. His prices were fair and he guaranteed his work for one year.

Well I needed help with a project, my pipe had busted and I needed it replaced. I called Dan because he had the greatest reviews and everyone claimed he's the best. First off he was very hard to get ahold of, I left a few voice mails before he finally got back to me and when he did call back he was very distracted and seemed to busy to talk about my problem. In fact he was so busy he recommended and gave me the information for a different guy for me to call to have my pipe fixed. I did and those guys came out and said they never seen the type of pipe that my sprinkler system had and recommended that I had it dug up and replaced with pex. They did know how to do this and said they'd do it for the low price of $800 dollars! I wasn't happy because what should have been a quick fix became something else. So I tried texting Dan back about what his boys said and he gave me the number to another guy! I just stopped there and found another guy from a coworker and I'm proud to say the problem is fixed no thanks to Dan!

When I called Dan on a Sunday afternoon for a sprinkler blow out, the day before our first big freeze of the season, he could have easily laughed at my procrastination and told me good luck and sayonara. Luckily for me, he didn't take that route, and instead managed to fit me in the next day (today). He made every effort to communicate with me throughout the evening and morning to get the necessary info from me, as I was not able to be home when they came. Someone even texted me when they were done to let me know everything went ok. I truly appreciate the effort Dan made, and could type for days about the positive experience I had.

I had some trouble with my sprinkler at the start of this season, sent him an email with some pictures of the problem and a description of my confusion about what was going on, and he responded very quickly -- on a Sunday -- and told me how to fix the problem right away without his help. I think they're just really busy these days, but I was really disappointed in their services. They took many days to get back to me after an email inquiry (even though they promise quick evaluations), and then they took many days after that review my email and put me on the wait list. All in all, it was going to be $100 for them to come out here and see what was going on, and it was going to take about two weeks for for them to finally get out here.

It took a month to get Dan to come since he had so many orders, that's how you know he is good. Dan was able to fix everything I needed, and even threw in a couple free things just because he is a rad dude. His prices were fair and was very helpful on giving me tips to maintain the system myself. I will be calling him back for any sprinkler needs I may have. Don't look anywhere else, he is worth the wait.

Dan's Lawn Service went above and beyond any high expectations I may have. I called because of a leak from a pipe in my front yard and not only did Dan get back to me in a very short amount of time, he made it to my house and had it fixed before I could get home. I was given detailed messages throughout the repair and he even walked me through the steps of shutting off the water in my crawl space once I got home. Also, I found it extremely helpful that when you call the phone number listed and it goes to voicemail that there are several instructions as to what to do in order to prepare your water lines for the winter - something I wasn't clear on before calling. I only wish all services could strive to meet the high standards of this company.
