On Thursday we had an estimate for the work. Shawn came out and was super nice. He said he could fix our leaking pipe Friday around four or five. We were okay with that for a time window because he said he could do it cheaper than anyone else. Friday came and it was getting late so he messaged us saying he was at a nightmare job but could come by Saturday at noon. We agreed. Saturday we rearranged our schedule and around 12:30p.m. my husband texted to see what was going on. He messaged back that he was STILL at a nightmare job (same one) but that he was going to send his brother. We were a bit unsure at this point but he said his brother was already on the way and Part of the same company so we decided to just let him fix our pipe. An hour later no one showed up so we messaged him again and he didn't message back. We were getting really annoyed at this point because we had plans for the day. Around 4:30pm we finally hear back from Shawn saying Hey, I can't get through to my brother can we reschedule?. (I mean what choice do we have?) Unfortunately, no one ever followed up with us or replied to any of our messages after that. My honest impression of this company is that they're way too understaffed and they shouldn't be promising they can be places and then they can't. I called another plumber and he came out in one day, got the work done in two hours, and it's working great now. I wouldn't waste my time here.

Took them 2 days, 3 techs, and over 9 hours to ultimately replace two bathroom sink drains ($15 parts). And they replaced them with silver drains that don't match our brushed bronze faucets. It cost us almost $500 because they spent the whole time struggling to figure out why they wouldn't drain properly -- when we told them from the beginning that it looked like it was just the drains themselves that we're getting blocked. They left a new employee there for a full day who was sweet but had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He spent most of the day on the phone begging for help. Ultimately we ended up just paying them to get them out of the house.

Other issues: 1. When they left overnight, they left the sinks opened up so our home smelled like sewer gases all night. 2. Part of our concern was that one of our sinks smells like the sewer occasionally -- maybe a venting issue? They did not resolve that. 3. They told us if they had to replace the p-traps it would be another $400 -- which is an insane number for a very cheap part that requires very little labor to replace. 4. This is the second time we used them... the first time our toilet wasn't draining properly. They came by and told us there was nothing wrong, the toilet was just old and we should replace it. I opened it up afterwards and saw that the flapper was falling apart -- replaced it myself in 2 mins and the toilet works just fine.

So, in the end we realized we don't really have plumbing issues -- we have plumber issues. We were asked to leave a review maybe a dozen times. Super pushy. Anyways -- here's your review.

We had the drain line from our kitchen sink back up. Contacted Elite and they came out the same day to assessed the issue. A 20' section of 2 drain line was no longer functionally effective. It needed to be replaced, as cleaning attempts were unsuccessful, and would have only been a temporary fix at best - even if cleaning had been possible

They discussed the final price, to which I agreed, and we scheduled the work

They showed up on time, worked courteously, professionally and efficiently, as well taking care of the mess... all was good

After seeing what they had to do for this repair, it was not as complicated as I had imagined... therefore the price seemed excessive

I contacted the Service Manager (John) to discuss my feelings. He was very professional and courteous, explaining in detail why/how the price was set. It made sense, though in this day and age, the price of everything seems excessive to me. Nevertheless, I asked that Elite consider what it looked like from my viewpoint, and they did understand

In the end, and as a good-faith gesture, I did get a partial refund. Not what I had hoped for, but they were willing to listen, understand and then make a significant, tangible gesture on our behalf

They gave us the refund even though we had already paid 100% of the bill

In the end, the issue is fixed, and is warranted by Elite for 10 years. We are happy with Elite (though not happy about skyrocketing costs of everything it seems these days) however... we would recommend Elite to anyone needing plumbing services

Good people Good work Willing to listen Also, whoever was smart enough to hire John should get a raise, because John is a real asset to their company. Genuinely concerned, professionally knowledgeable and seems to truly care about customer service (an art often lost in this day and age!)

Very disappointed. I have used Elite service before to unclog my kitchen sink. Since I liked their work, I have scheduled them again when my drain was getting clogged. The techs arrived quickly and I noticed that they didn't even bring the snaking equipment. Instead, they asked to see my kitchen pipes in the basement. Then they asked me if I was owner or renter. When I asked why, they said it was curiosity, then changed their answer later. Long story short, they have wasted entire 1 hour trying to push a $1500+ project to redo my kitchen pipes and didn't want to unclog my drain. They even insisted that they wouldn't guarantee the snaking would unclog. At the time, they didn't checked my sink. Very disappointed how they are doing business now. They kept insisting on locking in for the project and put a deposit for it. Not giving any business to them anymore. Ah, by the way, they would push a hydrojetting ($580ish) when a simple snaking ($80-100) would suffice.

My technician was Cole Smith. He was very knowledgeable and polite and professional. He repaired the pipe leading into my water heater, which was leaking, and he showed me where the pipe had failed. (It was an old pipe.) He soldered a new pipe on and connected it. He wore a mask and worked very efficiently. He also answered questions for me about a repair I need on an outdoor faucet and also about installing main line water filters. He knew what he was talking about and told me how he would go about each job and offered to give me an estimate. Cole did a great job. I highly recommend him and Elite Rooter for your plumbing needs.

I called to get a sink line that is about 10 feet long cleared out. The dispatcher gave me a 2 hour window when the tech would arrive, and that I would receive a call prior to arrival. I had to take the day off work to be available to be flexible to meet the tech during the 2 hour window. 40 mins past the 2 hour window, I called to find out where the tech was. While I was on the call with the dispatcher, the tech called to tell me he would be there shortly. Nearly an hour later the finally arrived. During his visit the tech tried to sell me multiple different services which was frustrating since I kept explaining that all that was needed was the line cleared. This felt like a paid sales call. Yes, he cleared the line and it has been draining fine since, which is all I needed.

When payment was due, the tech explained that the $79 rate was promotional and did not qualify for a 30 day guarantee on the drain cleaning. What company doesn't provide at least a 30 day guarantee? Why wasn't this explained prior to payment? I won't be utilizing Elite Rooter again due to the lack of professionalism.

I had the shut off valve in my house replaced as well as the copper line the previous owner ran to the fridge for water. During minor renovations, we had to move the fridge which caused the copper line to break. Now I have a proper set up with a shut off valve behind the fridge and a braided line to run from the valve to the fridge.

Elite Rooter, specifically Jamie, responded in a timely manner and got the job done when promised. I'd definitely use them again for future projects.

I am writing this review at the end of a series of projects completed by Elite Rooter on the sewer line of my property.
For some background, I own a home that was build in 1971 with cast iron under the foundation and clay tiles running outside to the city main.
The age of the house coupled with the root intrusion from our mature trees have caused blockages and loss of service a few times.
Elite Rooter performed a series of diagnostics and replacements concluding in our line being fully functional again.

-- Diagnostics and Scheduling
Daniel from Elite Rooter was responsive and helpful at all points of our repairs and replacements. He diagnosed issues in our lines,
helped schedule workers to come for repairs, and facilitated communication. He called to check up on completed work and
was always adamant that our problems get fixed.

Alfonso at Elite Rooter came in and helped us further when we needed additional work. His expertise, attention to detail,
and professional attitude went a long way in caring for me as a customer. He was reasonable with all of his recommendations
and he ensured that our line would operate with full capacity. We cannot thank Alfonso enough for his commitment to our happiness.

-- Administrative Work
Connor and Kaitlin at the Elite Rooter desk helped tremendously with complicated correspondence between myself and my Insurance Claims Adjuster.
They listened to my specific needs and responded to many many inquiries from insurance. At all times, they were professional and responsive.

-- Rooting
I had a tech named Sean who was kind, thorough, and responsive with his work running a rooter through our line.
This was necessary at several stages for diagnosis and for giving partial service access when we were backed up.

-- Repair Work
I saved this section for last. Eloy and Fernando at Elite Rooter were in charge of excavating, digging, replacing pipe, containment, cleanup, pouring concrete, and more.
These two worked tirelessly and performed incredibly well. They are both friendly and kind, while also being tremendous workers.
With the scope of work completed, I believe that these two are the unsung heroes. Without their tireless efforts, we would still have issues in our service line.

This company will majorly rip you off on pricing. I used them twice this summer. The first time was a big job so I didn't really have a gauge on if the price was fair or not, but after talking to another plumber I know now that I got ripped off. I gave them $8000 to do a job, which required them to remove the toilet in one of our bathrooms 8-10 times. The toilet became loose, and wasn't able to be tightened down. I called them again (I stupidly thought they might hook me up, since I just gave them 8k) to fix the toilet so it wouldn't wobble. Dude charged me $275 to replace one bolt on the toilet, which took him less than five minutes, and it was messed up from them taking the toilet off so many times! I also had them install a garbage disposal, which they charged $485 to do. The guy told me he was going to buy it at Home Depot so I looked up the model and it was $99. Took him ten minutes to put it in. They charged me $800 for less than 15 minutes of work. Then the next day we used the dishwasher and it wouldn't drain, because the disposal wasn't hooked up properly. So I had to have them come out AGAIN to fix it. Can't believe they didn't charge me several hundreds to fix their own mistake!
Long story short, their prices suck. Tyler and some of the other dudes who did the work were awesome- can't fault them for their company charging insane prices. Y'all could have had a lifelong customer... but when you price gouge someone who just gave you a ton of money and is asking you to fix something you broke, I'm out!

Sent a technician out who fixed something that wasn't broken as my sink was still
leaking 2 weeks later. The leak continued to ruin and warp my hardwood floors. Then they would not warrant the work ot provide a refund when i explained to them i would not pay $900 for a new garbage disposal!! The 2nd technician, Pedro, was super nice and promised a refund, but after 4 unsuccessful attempts to get the refund through their office I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card. Do not use this company!! Total rip off!

Reader's Digest Version: I'd call them again and will recommend them to my friends and family.

I used Yelp to locate someone to help on my issue. Elite Rooter responded first with an offer to have a look and see what could be done the following day. Cody showed up on time and ready to jump right in. I had already tried to locate the issue and understood the building well enough to rule out some stuff and he listened and took note of that while continuing to sleuth to a diagnosis. He explained his reasoning and proposed a reasonable solution and cost. He needed to run for a part and was back in 20 mins. He got halfway into the fix and found a need to clean some unexpected stuff up and left it problem fixed and better than he found it. It didn't end there. I had other questions since obviously I had found someone that knew what he was doing... we talked and looked at sinks and toilets and talked drain pipes. Cody T. asked if I minded his supervisor Josh come by just to check the main with a camera gratis and I couldn't say no seeing as I had never checked it and was curious. While Cody and I wrapped up, Josh arrived and was camera ready. Everything checked out, no problems. They were courteous, professional, COVID and cleanliness conscious and worth every penny. Thanks guys. Thanks bossman for having guys like Cody T. and Josh M. on the team. Makes an OCD slightly manic homeowner like myself have faith in the contracting world again.

Contacted these guys on the Thumbtack app because I had a leak. Turns out, I needed a new faucet. Guy comes out and quotes me $1300 to replace a faucet that costs $100, tops. And for a job that takes about a half hour to complete. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL. The guy was nice, but his office was feeding him the quotes. This company is obviously predatory and is hoping to find gullible people who don't know how to fix things themselves and then exploit that to their gain. In the end, I fixed this myself with a $45 faucet and a 10 minute youtube video. Don't let these predators scam you.

Elite Rooter sent Sean and Rodney to give me a quote for a water softener installation, they said they would match the lowest quote and warranty I had received. A few days later, I called to move forward with their match and spoke to the receptionist who said I would receive a call back from the techs that were sent out to get the install booked. Sean called me back shortly after and I was given a 2 hour window that day and a promise to match the agreed quote. That 2 hour window came and went with no call and a no show. I texted him later to see what was going on and he said he would be there the next morning. See text message attached. Well now we are on the second no show. I will go ahead and give the smaller less known plumber my business. Very inconsiderate and unreliable. I do not recommend.

Dario and Cole arrived on time, were professional and had great attitudes the entire time. They treated my home like it were on of their own. My home, built in 1923 had a very difficult main line system, Dario and Cole did a great job troubleshooting where the clog might be in the system. They eventually had to get into a very tight crawlspace to get better access to the system. Our home had two clean outs, one located outside, and the other was found by Dario and Cole in the crawl space. They treated me with respect and made sure I was comfortable along the way. I had a lot of requests, and they were happy to accommodate every one of them. Dario and Cole were really transparent the entire time, these guys truly went above and beyond, great work!

Our toilets were backing up. Elite Rooter was the first to respond to our service request and had an appointment the next morning. It was only $79 to run the rooter through to remove blockage, but our problem was much worse. The old clay pipes had broken and sunk below the necessary grade. They were able to scope the problem and get to work quickly. They understood the cost was huge and unexpected so they offered options and did their best to keep it to a minimum cost to trench across our concrete patio and halfway into the garage floor as well. All very friendly and hard working, I feel we found the best choice for our plumbing needs.

Elite did a sewer repair at our home. We were overcharged by 300%. They installed a section of line at an inapproiate angel casuing sewage backup and over $20,000 in additional damage. They also punctured the neighbor's spinkler system main line resulting in nearly $5000 of additional damage. I am going to sue them.

They sent a technician to work on my clogged drain. After a few minutes of work, he informed me that he didn't have the proper equipment and he will need to return on Monday to finish the job. I paid the invoice as he was coming back to finish the work. They didn't send anybody back for three days and when I send messages on Yelp it gets marked as read but they don't response. After a few unanswered messages, I started calling. The phone rings but they keep hanging up. They essentially took my money and ceased all communication with me. Don't use them or at least make sure that all the work is performed before you pay them.

It did take him all day long and he had to leave four times to get more parts and correct parts and another part was defective. It's too bad his company could not give him the correct supplies to start out with in his big utility van. I had a main line water backup this AM. Called Elite Rooter and talked to them in detail about needing my main line snaked for roots, how long the line was and the access point. I was quoted $79. When they arrived, they said that since it was a toilet removal access point (a 5 minute removal and reset) it would be $324!!!!
They are scammers!!!!!

Now (at 3:00 PM) I am scrambling to find a local, respectable company.

After a few calls, I found one and with a price guarantee of $95!!

I rarely give reviews, but I think other folks should know I've tried to contact this company multiple times to have them come out and repair some concrete work that they did not complete correctly when they put a new drain pipe in. Good luck on warranty repair if, something goes wrong. And it's not even a major issue. It's a small thing they could fix..that is all. Thanks.

We called elite rooter after disaster struck. As a first time home owner panic was my immediate response. The team at elite rooter came in and quickly eased my anxiety. Mike, Christian, Eloy and Adrian came in with expert knowledge and skill and went to work to fix the issue, having to dig through the foundation and replace essential plumbing components. We had a clogged drain from our kitchen sink. I tried to snake it myself and was unsuccessful. I looked at customer reviews and started to call a few different services. Elite Rooter had favorable customer reviews and was able to come out to my home the next days. I worked with Gustavo (field tech) and Augie (manager) to address the clog. Gustavo tried to snake the pipe to free it but the clog was too severe so he used the hydro jet process and was able to clear the pipe. Gustavo walked through the process with me step by step, was efficient and did a nice job of cleaning up after the work was completed. I would definitely recommend using them for future needs.

Our basement tub filled with water and wouldn't drain. It the Friday before Fourth of July and no one was able to come to our house except John. He was able to fix the problem so we can shower. I was very happy at the response time and his communication. Will definitely use Elite Rooter again!

I called Elite Rooter first thing in the morning, as I had just discovered that my back flow prevention device was leaking. Augie came a few hours later (same day!!), looked at the device, explained what was wrong, and provided a quote right away. He went and got the necessary parts, removed the broken device, installed a new one, and then explained what he had done, what had failed, etc. While he was here, I also asked him to take a look at a bathroom faucet; he described what needed to be done and answered all of my questions. He was friendly, prompt, courteous, professional, and thorough. I definitely recommend Elite Rooter and will call them for any other plumbing issues.

I've had my line backup many a time over the years and never had a memorable experience until today! Quintin was prompt professional and very thorough. He explainined everything he was doing before and as the job was going. Then showed me everything that was clogging my pipe. Then Brooks scope the line to show me everything with clear. The price was reasonable and as estimated. They didn't try to upsell me. I would recommend them, and I am saving their contact information for my next emergency! Lol

My bathroom sink was clogged. After trying to snake the drain myself without fixing the problem, Chris Duran with Elite Plumbing was there on site within 2 hrs of the initial call to unclog the drain. His service was prompt and quick. Excellent politeness and expertise answers was his high point throughout the whole ordeal. I would recommend this company to anyone and hope that Chris is the tech in your area!!!

This is the second time we've received services from Elite Rooter. They're a very responsive and efficient company to work with and billing Is transparent and well documented. After, working with other contractors I really appreciate the professionalism of the Elite Rooter staff. I do not remember the two men who repaired our plumbing previously, but we worked with Big John (installation) and Daniel (consultation) to replace our water heater and they were both excellent.

I had a new toilet installed last week. Tyler and Jaime were the installers and did a super job. I got a next day appointment which never happens with other businesses!! They both were friendly and respectful and very professional. Price was so great that I will have them install another new toilet and new faucet next week and will keep hiring them again and again since I have a lot of remodeling to do in this 27 year old house.

DJ got the clog out pretty quick he kicked ass he went above and beyond by looking at my toilet and addressing the issues I was having with that free of charge. I called them because we had a leak from our bathroom. The dispatcher said someone will come out in an hour but no one showed up! No call back until the next day which is absolutely unacceptable when you are dealing with an urgent situation. They finally came out the next day and assessed the problem and quoted me an outrageous estimate for the job. So I called a few other plumbers and their estimate was a LOT cheaper -- I'm talking about one fourth of what they quoted. I will not be using them again in the future.

We called Elite Rooter Saturday 11/28/21, for a backed up sewer , they arrived and gave. an estimate of 360.00 to start , the removed a toilet and ran a small blade to clear the line. after getting the line. to drain. the took a video , of the line to identify the the problem , they managed to punch a small hole about 37' out to allow the drain to flow ,
The tech then proceeded to sell a Clean up job with an estimate of 6000.00 to start by their sister company , my adult daughter who was on site. declined this , they packed up and left ,
Within 24 hours the sewage backed up again , this would be Sunday , the place was no longer inhabitable. We needed to find her a place to lives short term. I called Elite rooter the following day Monday 11/30/21 and explained the issue. they said they would have the tech contact me. I said I would prefer to talk to the manager , I was told she was busy and couldn't come to the phone , I insisted to no avail. the person took my phone number and name. and said she would call me when she was available. I'm writing this Wednesday , 12/1 /21 and have yet to hear from anybody at Elite Rooter.
In short these folks are predatory , lazy and unprofessional. we. hired another company to complete the job they failed to do.

So this would be my 6 company I interview for servicing my sewer line. Guy showed up and asked me my profession. Then after he found out I was an engineer gave a quote of $1,200 for hydro jetting. Two other quotes were $429 an hour or $395. Consumer beware!

Very disappointed in customer service and responsiveness. However, the work got done partially. Hired this company to put in a toilet and sink to a rough plumbed bathroom. the initial estimate and response was almost immediate. Once the work started, it went down hill. The estimator dropped off a team of two inexperienced plumbers. The original quote was one day for complete install. It took 4. two of those were us just waiting for them to put the toilet seat on (we know how to do it, but it was part of the agreement). I called their home office with a complaint and the receptionist said the manager would call me back. Never happened. The estimator also said they'd replace the wax ring in one of our bathrooms at no additional charge, which they never did.

Why does plumbing break at the most inappropriate time? Cody, from Elite Rooter, came by when he said he would to replace the inner workings of our wall mounted bathtub faucet the other day. They did an outstanding job repairing my toilet drain line and flange, which required removing the existing concrete and filling with new. It only took them a few hours to complete and at a cost much lower than other estimates I had received. And the guys who came over were so professional and polite.

They are scammers!! My mom has roots that grow into her sewer lines and we have snaked the drains ourselves a few times. We were not available, so my mom decided to use try this company because of their affordable pricing and quick availability. They preyed on her lack of plumbing knowledge and tried to overcharge her! In the end, they didn't even complete the job. They guarantee their work but refused to refund the money and wouldn't even give my mom a receipt! If you are thinking of using this company, don't! Find a plumber who is professional and honest; they are not. We ended up having to snake the drain ourselves.

We were unlucky to have groundwater seep into our crawlspace in June. We were very lucky to find Elite Rooter to respond to the problem. They took us through emergency water mitigation, sump pump installation and french drain construction to solve a complex situation in a fairly short amount of time. The Elite Rooter team was fantastic. Robert Cole was the lead contact, and his calm reassurance and professionalism absolutely saved my peace of mind. Senior technician Augustin Ramirez crafted the plan to stop the problem in its tracks. And Ivan (wish I had his last name) dug, built and finished the french drain so that I can hardly tell they had been there at all. What an amazing team. I cannot thank them enough. Trust these guys!

Do NOT use these people!
We had a pipe in our laundry room burst back in August. Elite Rooter came out to evaluate and said it would be $3000 and they needed $1500 up front. We gave them $1500 and they started the work. They jackhammered some and then needed to have someone come inspect it, at which point it was determined they needed to jackhammer twice the distance and it would cost us an additional $1500 and they would need to move our water heater. It needed to be fixed so we agreed. Water heater gets moved and we are told we should now have hot water however after the technician left we tried to use hot water and had none. They came back later to re-connect the water heater but we were not getting hot water in half the house. Another technician came out and said he had fixed the problem. That fix was to crank the water heater temperature as high as it goes which is not only a safety hazard but ruins water heaters. We had another plumber come out for a separate issue and he asked to take a look at their work since he was surprised it was taking them so long. He then proceeded to discover they had broken a copper pipe and tried to patch it with an insulating foam sealant instead of fixing the problem. Daniel heard our frustrations and came out and confirmed that the technicians did indeed ruin our water heater and that he would ensure we got it replaced on them. At this point there was no trust with Elite Rooter so we used the 2nd plumber who thoroughly explained how bad of work they had done. The new plumber completed the work the same day! We sent Anette (apparently the ONLY PERSON that deals with refunds/payment) over 20 emails and more than 30 phone calls without response over the last 3 months. They refuse to pay for the replacement water heater that they broke so now we are forced to take them to small claims court.
The owner of this company should be ashamed of the quality of work and customer service provided.

Jorge was kind but they bate you in with the $79 charge then don't go all the way so that they can recommend doing a $1250 job which isn't needed. But they think you are dumb and take advantage. Then they try and say oh that service wasn't enough and say you need a service that cost $5000. Do NOT believe them. Get a second opinion. I only ended up paying $79 due to the fact we did our research.

DO NOT USE ...... I had a SIMPLE Kitchen Leak that turned from $150.00 to $3,500.00 after Daniel and Connor got involved and discovered that this was a Insurance Claim. I have called the Company and cannot get Past Amanda or Annette to have the Owner Mr. PATEL return ANY of my messages to Send a CORRECTED AND HONEST Invoice....BEWARE VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND DISHONEST COMPANY and Unfortunately the Owner hides behind his employees to pick up the Dishonesty
