We had plumbing service from Elite Rooter and ended up with a major sewer line repair. The plumber in charge of the work was Pablo and he was extremely reliable, explaining openly the issues we had with our sewer pipe which was almost 75 years old. Work was completed on time, clean up was fabulous and most importantly, price was reasonable!

Pablo was very helpful and invested lot of time investingating the clogging issue. He didn't even unclogged the drain but also shared lot of good information for future reference. He helped me clean up and fix all the mess which was created due to clog.

Pablo is very professional and great plumber.

I had a back up in my renters home. That is where it started.
As it turned out, I needed to replace all of the old cracked, cast iron pipes.
It kept going and going. After a long week, they got it done.
Always professional, polite and reassuring.

We had a backed up shower at 5pm, and I wanted someone quickly.  Roto Rooter could they come out that evening but refused to give me an estimate until they arrived. When their technician arrived, he said it would be $510! I said goodbye to him and made another appointement with Elite Rooter for the next morning. Their technician checked it out and somehow the blockage had cleared itself. I said I would pay their minimum charge (under $90) since they came out. He refused payment. Only said call us next time you need help. You know I will, customer for life. Great people  to work with from the scheduler to the technician. Nice to find a company that treats you like that.

They were always trying to upsell other services for which I have no need. I asked them to fix a water flow problem in my guest bathroom, which was actually due to water saving showerhead used by the previous owner, and they opened up the wall, charged me $2k and said more would be needed to fix the underlying valves. When I asked them about replacing the cast iron sewer lines, their quote was significantly higher than everyone else I talked to.

I had Elite Rooter come to my house last night to unclog 2 drains. Two employees Pablo & David arrived and snaked out my drains. They were very professional and respectful.
I'm very happy with my experience and would recommend Elite Rooter to anyone.

Missed appointment 3 times and also gave the most expensive quote for changing a tankless water heater. Not sure why they are still in business!!

The sink in my laundry room was clogged and I needed to find a reliable reasonably priced plumber to clear it for me. I was anxious to hire someone after reading several reviews about plumbers overcharging their clients. I called Elite Rooter who had a $79 special to unclog a drain. The plumber came out was very nice and patiently ran the snake through the drain several times and it wouldn't clear. He looked at the other drains in the house and found the clog was only affected by the kitchen sink. He put the snake down the laundry room sink another time and it cleared. He charged me the discount rate and I am very happy with the service. Very professional man who told me the discount price several times and stuck to it. I will definitely use them again if I have another clogged drain.

Pablo from Elite Rooter has promptly helped unclog a blocked toilet at our home. He is very knowledgeable and educated us regarding the old plumbing system and toilet that we have.

I don't generally call a plumber because my cousins are plumbers. In this case I called Elite given my cousins were on scheduled jobs.

Jose came at 3:30, right at the beginning of my service window. He was, in fact, waiting in my condo lobby as soon as I got home from work. I had a couple of issues, one being a broken chain on my toilet. He repaired it expertly efficiently and showed me a part that was wearing down that I could very easily replace. Price was reasonable. I am grateful to not have a home warranty anymore, so I can hire great professionals. I have found my new plumber!

My Reverse Osmosis tank started backing up and was leaking through the faucet area. I found this business on thumbtack and they came out next day.

Pablo was my technician and he came and assessed my problem in about 20 minutes. He was able to give me a reasonable quote for fixing my issue and clearing my drain!

As Pablo was getting started on the repairs he found another item that needed repairing. That brought my list to 3 items in total. We had a leaking toilet where the water company came to tell to notify us that it went from 4units to 16 units. Upon requesting help, property management sent over Elite Rooter which came next day.

Courteous.  Expedient. And got the job done.  However, I feel swindled; High pressures sales.  Charged me $2500 for a power flush.  Look elsewhere, this should have only cost $1000.

Had a great experience with Elite Rooter.  Called them up and they were available to stop by same day.  Adhemar came right on time - very professional, polite and informative.  We had a clogged up shower drain.  He was very conscientious - putting on those blue shoe covers in our house and laying down a covering around the shower in case there was a mess.  Adhemar had to use the snake and dig pretty deep for some time before he got the clog out - a baseball sized ball of hair.  As he was clearing it out, he was incredibly informative and asked some good questions about the piping (when were remodels done, pipe material types, etc.) to potentially diagnose and prevent future clogs.  I will definitely ask for Adhemar next time I have any issue!

I called Elite for the first time and was very surprised and impressed with the quality of their overall service.
Their plumber who went by the name Mo was very punctual and did an excellent job of taking care of my plumbing problem. He was very polite and responsive with an honest assessment of the problem, something one does not see very often dealing with tradesmen today.
I like the quality of Mo's work and trust him to do future jobs for me when needed. As a landlord with a few different units, I have asked my tenants to contact Mo's company
Elite Rooter directly any time they have a plumbing problem that needs assistance.
I have no hesitation referring Mo to any one else who has a plumbing need.

Elite Rooter came out same day, and very quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem. Pablo, the technician, was very clear in explaining what he was doing, how to avoid future problems, and future signs of trouble to look out for. Cornelio was our main technician. He was awesome! Super efficient, very knowledgable and great communicator. In and out in less than 30minutes. Fixed the plumbing issues and gave great advice. 5 stars for sure!

The one star is for the technician, not the company. I don't want to mention his name to get him trouble. I still think the company is great. The technician come to my place for a stuck toilet. He try the snake first say didn't work. Than he suggests hydrogen but the lowest he can go is 1800.  So I pay him 250 for come in and not fix the problem. I told him is too expensive. Then next day I call a company come I. Did a hydrogen and didn't work than they did the snack and work. So. Snake work!!!!!!    Guess how much this company charge  .  400( hydrogen and snake ). Come on 1800 vs 400 !!!!!!!!  In the mean time this technician keep text me and let me know I will get trouble with the city and receive big fine if not fix it   And text me if I still want their service.....  right now I am even questioning that he can do it with snake but didn't want to. Because the second company did it with snake and it work.   Come on 1800 vs 400??????????

Adhemar came out and did a great job with a drain issue we had. He was timely and professional. We highly recommend.

3 stars - Meh...OK.

The work was to fix the leaking shower head in the bathroom. I was offered 2 quotes. 1] To diagnose the problem and try to fix the showerhead. But I was told there was no guarantee it would work ($400). So the other option was 2] Replace the whole shower system for around $3500. The initial visiting fee of $189 would be adjusted into this amount if I went for the whole replacement. I fell for the upsell.

The quote they provided was 15% higher than the 2nd quote I got. However, their promise was to also complete the drywall work as best as a plumber could. The hassle of having to find a handyman to do that work tempted me into accepting the higher-cost item.

The work itself went at a very slow pace with the installer (Robert) taking a full day (around 8 hours) to replace the shower system. He took the brass/copper connecter with him (apparently they have good resale value). His promise was to return the following day to level the drywall. Surprise #1...I was supposed to buy the spray paint required to texture the wall...something they said they would take care of in the beginning. Surprise #2.....Robert demanded 100% payment even before the work was completed. This after I had paid 10% down. Surprise #3....The initial visiting fee of $189 was NOT part of the full amount.

A phone call to Robert's supervisor, Alexander fixed that 3rd problem.

It did not come as a surprise that the following day Robert never showed up and Elite rooter abandoned the drywall work. Ultimately, I ended up hiring a (good) handyman to get the drywall fixed.

I contacted their service email and got a reply from Trisha. After providing her my home address, there has been total silence...no replies. Since 16th June 3 reminders later, it clear to me that this is an organization that is out to make a lot of money while offering mediocre service.

Caveat emptor!

Cornelio was great at communicating an ETA and arrived on time.  He was clear in explaining the process and the cost.  He performed the services in a professional and thorough manner. Prices are definitely reasonable as well.   Will definitely be keeping this company's phone number handy for future plumbing needs!

I had a bottle cap stuck in my sink causing it to clog up. First company that came up when I googled was elite rooter reached out to them and set up an appointment and they were very attentive. I was able to meet Pablo Diaz one of elites finest Pablo Diaz who was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything. He looked at the issue and let me know what needed to be done and gave me a price. I also have an issue with my water heater and he took a look at it and also gave me an estimate. Pablo should definitely be your go to when reaching out with elite rooter.

Elite Rooter to the rescue!! Very easy to set up an appointment. Pablo called 30min before arriving and showed up on time. Pablo knew exactly how to attack our slow draining bathtub. He was very respectful and got the job done with ease. Thank you Pablo, and ELITE ROOOTER.

Just had my clean out snaked.  Not arriving within the appointment window was one thing, but leaving the clog (hair/debries) right there on the ground was not very professional service.

These guys *exceeded* my expectations.  House had a slow kitchen drain. The technician they sent (Pablo) had a great professional bedside manner.  He totally explained what he was going to do, photo-documented it, explained pros/cons, what plan B would be if 1st try didn't work (but it did!) I will definitely use these guys again.

It is my third time using Elite Rooter and I will surely go to them for all my plumbing service needs in the future too.  Jose came in bang on time to diagnose an issue with a slow faucet - he was able to point out the problem within 10mins and suggested remedies. No qualms recommending Elite for folks out there.

I would highly recommend Elite Rooter. I had Jose come out and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a partially blocked mainline sewer and Jose got to work right away. Unfortunately the auger machine broke but Jose came back with a replacement and help (thanks David!) and they were able to fix the problem promptly and with expertise. I am a very happy customer and would call them again if I had an issue with my plumbing in the future.

Julio responded very quickly to an emergency. The problem was bigger than expected and more inspection was needed, which was performed the same day, and a solution was suggested.
We ended up replacing our sewer line, fixing the clean out. Which was not cheap, but was done in no time, without even damaging a single plant in the yard! Both the house and the yard were left so clean that it was amazing! You can't even tell anything was done. The whole process was as painless as can be :)

Cornelio and Joe were Fantastic!  Super diligent and extremely fair.  They showed up in a few hours to help figure out a really tough problem with my sewer line.  Turned out it was a simple clog, but very hard to find given the location in my Kitchen.  In the end they came back as promised and didn't leave till they fixed it.  I can't say enough about these guys and am thankful they are available in the Bay Area.

My project was to replace a water heater and replace a sump pump. They used a Bradford White Ultra Low NOx water heater and Zoeller sump pump.

I was fortunate that I had Kevin and Jose doing the work. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I asked how long will it take to replace my water heater. Jose, without hesitation, said it'll take a little over an hour; we'll be done by 430pm. I was so impressed because he was spot-on was done and cleaned up by 430pm exactly.

With the replacement of the sump pump, it was less than 30 mins.

I highly recommend Elite Rooter because they were swift and affordable.

I'll copy my text to the so-called manager who showed up on site and called me. He was immediately condescending and rude and said well we're just going to leave then I guess because he wasn't getting the upsell he wanted. He even accused me of 'swearing' because I said what the hell is going on with your company then no one seems to know what's going on and when the appointment is? He ended with a smarmy have a nice day and hung up.

I spoke to the guy that actually was going to do the work as he was driving to the house and he was prepared to sell me on something bigger. Luckily I was able to shut down the upsell because I had something in writing and a Yelp message quoting a price.

they told me they would send somebody out with a hundred foot snake and get a free camera inspection as part of the service period turns out they have a 75-ft Max cable length which is not that big of a deal but no camera service unless you have a 3-in vent which is pretty rare to find in residential single-family home. I would definitely recommend staying away from this company.

I wanted to tell you that I very much did not appreciate your very condescending attitude and complete fail on customer service.

I had booked an appointment for today 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. yesterday. No one from your company showed up today and when I called they said  we don't remember any appointment and did I maybe call the wrong number yesterday?. It's programmed into my phone so I just hit redial. Obviously I didn't call the wrong number they just screwed up writing it down. That should have been my first clue.

I am frustrated that I was not told the proper length of cable that they would use or restrictions on the vent size for camera use.  As a manager you should be able to handle that kind of frustration.  It's basic customer service to smooth over. Maybe you haven't had much training yet as a manager? I am a manager and know all about smoothing over an unhappy customer when needed.  

I can assure you you only made it worse when you hung up on me. You're making your company look bad and my Yelp review will reflect that. I honestly don't have any faith that you are going to get this basic simple job right since I am not there in person. I guess I won't know for a few days.

got home and discovered the problem is now worse that it was.  That was $280 down the drain. Or actually, not actually down the drain just lost

They said to snake a drain it would be $69 flat rate. Granted, I figured this is too good to be true so I confirmed the work that was needed and they still quoted at $69 flat rate. Confirmed twice!

Plumber comes out and says its going to cost $289. He was a nice guy and I appreciated my interaction with him. But the business as a whole needs to refine their quoting process.

I can not hire a bait and switch company. If the plumber was with another company, I would hire him.

Pablo arrived at their promised time and immediately fixed our blocked drainage in the laundry room. Very knowledgeable and first he told us 2 ways he could resolve the issues and their prices. In his first attempt he undid the blockage.

My main sewer line clogs once a year at about street level.  I called Elite Rooter, and Balmoris came the next day (as I'd requested).  He was extremely courteous, and rooted out the drain from my outside access point.  He wanted me to have a camera inspection done first - perhaps a new line would need to be installed.  But for now, I just wanted a simple rooter done, and he was ok with that, and the low coupon price.  I'd call him again.

A great company is one that provides amazing service even after the job. This was my Elite rooter experience. They helped me repipe all our sewage lines, and were professional and fast.

A month later one of my sewage lines happened to clog (not their new pipes, the drainage from a sink that was old). I called them, and they sent Sal out the very next day to snake the drain as part of my warranty. I really appreciate that they continued to be just as professional and responsive even in their post-job support.

Back of house drain was clogged and after I tried everything I could, I found Elite Rooter on Yelp. I scheduled them to come out the following day. Two plumbers showed up (Greg and his apprentice), on time, wore masks and they very professional. They snaked the drain and found the issue to be deeper than at the drain itself. Since the pipes were installed in the 1950's, I elected to have them use a camera to see where the issue was for an additional cost. They were able to get the camera person there same day. They showed me where there was build up in the pipe, standing water in the pipe (bad grading) and where there were roots growing into the pipe. I then elected to have them hydrojet (clean) the inside of the pipe to the street. Since it was late, they came back the next day. It was an additional cost of course (hydro jetting) but well worth it. Now I know what needs to be done.

I am very happy with the quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the plumbers who showed up to fix my issues. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Pablo is amazing - he helped me run a snake, use a camera to show me where the problem of my waste pipe is, and gave me a great discount on the pricing. He also explained patiently to me that the pipe needs a replacement, and pros and cons of the options I have. Our plumber, Pablo is great. He was friendly, informative, and honest. He explained to me every step and why?  I highly recommend this company and ask for Pablo. The repair was fixed for our clogged washer drain.

We used Elite Rooter services for our clogged toilet. Technician David came over to perform the job. David was very professional,  explained his plan of action and the cost of each task. When snake didn't clear the clog, he recommended to remove the toilet bowl. After removing the toiled bowl he found plastic caps obstructing the path. He removed the obstruction and put everything back. Toilet was as good as new. Paid $385 approx.

Great service. I called them at 10am and a crew was onsite making me an estimate 2h later. They replaced my water heater in couple of hours.

A water pipe burst under our kitchen sink and my neighbor recommended Elite Rooter. I called them and they were able to come out within a few hours! George fixed it but I noticed a few days later that there was water under the sink again. Adhemar came out to fix it and was very professional and helpful.

A disappointing experience. A few things to mention,
1. They installed two Clean-outs within 14 feets; was told by other providers that the first one was unnecessary.
2. Look at the Clean Out they installed --- looks terribly and well above the ground
3. usually late for a few days; as a result, see the dead grass around the clean out
4. They told there's 5-year guaranty and clean the pipes in case of congestion --- but they never send me any guaranty documents.

Needed a kitchen drain snaked / cleared and they responded quickly.  Luiz was prompt, professional and nice enough to answer any of the plumbing questions I had.  Glad to know they have a local office in San Mateo.

we had a shower that was not draining so we called for estimate. $11,000.- And the work would take 3 days. beginning on Wed. so it woild be done by weekend. not only did it take 6 days leaving us w/out a shower but when the work was done we noticed the wall was wet at the work site..we called them back and they claim its not their work but another pipe with the problem which they are not responsible for, But the water damage did not occur until theit job was done? for $11m000- I would think they would have fixed anythng going wrong since they were in the wall anyways? Instaed they just kept making excuses why their not gonna do their job. i would NOT recomemd ths company to anyone!!

Elite rooter helped to solve the issue,   but come late half day after the scheduled time.

Quick response on our leaking kitchen pipe. Came out next day and replaced the leaking pipe and installed new ones since the others were about to leak too. Great service and our tech was awesome !

I had a fairly simple problem - clogged kitchen sink. I made a quote request on Yelp. Elite Rooter replied within 15 minutes. There were many replies, but most of them did not include much info. Elite Rooter included an estimated amount and available time windows. The price was extremely competitive. I called their phone, booked the first available appointment. Pablo showed up on time, listened to my description of the problem, explained possible causes, described scenarios of might happen next, answered all my questions. Then Pablo did his job - cleared the clog. Then Pablo took time to advise on can and/or should be done in my case - very old sewer pipes. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

I had slow drainage in my bathroom sink and called Elite. They came out for an estimate and to look at my sink and various others issues.
He was efficient, described the problem and what was needed to repair. He was not pushy and the quote was very reasonable.

I didn't actually work with Elite Rooter however I want to note that they offered me a really great price on a drain cleaning. Unfortunately my problem occurred late on a Saturday afternoon and they weren't available until Monday morning, so I went with another more service that was more expensive, but I will definitely keep Elite in mind if this happens again.

Came during COVID SIP for a clogged drain. Great guys and work. Cleared from all sides and even used camera to figure issues for future estimate. Will use again.

Senior Technician Geovany helped fix my kitchen drain clog, which fixed the whole pipe.  He was on time, professional, super helpful.  Definitely hard work for this project, not easy, but also worked faster than I expected for the amount of work required.  Price was very reasonable, too.  I would 100% recommend, 5 start service!!

I really wanted to like these guys.  They try to be nice, price competitively, and generally show up on time.  Nothing personal against the guys.  But eventually I got sick of all the mistakes on our sewer lateral replacement.  They failed inspection twice.  The trenchless caused a bulge in my driveway, more expense and delays.  They bugged me for payment multiple times before they passed inspection.  Didn't seem to know how the permitting worked in San Mateo and eventually I had to just pay them more to get it done.  It took far too long (over a month from start to finish for a sewer lateral replacement).  Cannot recommend for a sewer lateral replacement, maybe ok for simple jobs.

I called for a lateral drain cleanout service (rotor rooter) with their $79 promo. They gave me an appointment for the next day. George called in the morning to say that he would be the one coming out and asked for verification of directions. He showed up within the 2 hour window given and was very professional and explained many things. The cleanout went fine with no problems. I am very satisfied with the service and will use them again.

Over this past weekend, our shower drain was clogged to the point where I'd be in standing water and took 15-20 minutes to drain completely after shutting the water off. I conducted a search and Elite Rooter was towards the top with a drain cleaning special. I called this morning and spoke with Liz (I think that was the name) and she said that they'd be able to come out today between 11a and 1p. Perfect! Greg called me about 10 minutes later to inquire if he'd be able to come over earlier to take care of this. Obviously, I obliged. When Greg arrived, he took a look at the drain and figured it was just a clog in the trap. He took care of the clog quickly (hair clump in the trap) and cleaned up his work area. The online special price was honored as advertised. Fantastic experience with Elite Rooter and would work with them again for future plumbing issues.

We had a crack in our kitchen sink pipes causing a leak.  Josh came out the same day we called and replaced the broken pipes quickly and efficiently.  He was pleasant and helpful, wore a mask, and took care of the problem.  We'd definitely recommend Josh and Elite Rooter.

Had an issue with my water heater and David from elite rooter was able to come by the same morning to take a look.  He checked and advised that the pilot had just gone out and was able to get it lit.  He was great and would recommend their services as he was professional, on time and helpful.

We've tried a number of different plumbing services over the years.  Elite Rooter is the best by far.  They were extremely responsive when scheduling.  The technician arrived on time and went above and beyond to fix our issue.  Where most plumbers would have given up, he was persistent in helping us clear a clog deep in our drain system.

I was referred to Elite Plumbing by a friend. After being told by another entity that the pilot light was busted, Awais was able to re-light it in the hopes of saving us money. However, when it did not stay lit, they were easy to communicate with. He came by the next morning and the new water heater unit was installed. Contacted Elite Rooter this morning and they sent Matthew.  It was easy to do over the internet to make my initial inquiries and get a quote.  Sadly, their special of $69 did not apply to our situation.  We had a clog in the upstairs master bathroom sink the handyman could not clear using his 15' snake.  Enter Matthew.  The tenant met him at the condo as I could not be there due to distance.  Matthew was on time, professional, courteous and very matter of fact in his explanations and information before proceeding.  He took care not to soil the newly shampooed carpet and laid out some tarp.  Within roughly an hour he finished and reported back everything and had cleared the clog.  Sadly, due to the nature of these old pipes he had to warn us it could recur but that cannot be helped.  Only ripping out a wall and some pipe would permanently remedy that. We'll cross that bridge when/if it happens.  Matt sent the documents and the invoice electronically right away.  All I had to do was call the company to pay with a credit card.  It was a pleasure dealing with him and Elite Rooter today.  Will most certainly use them again.  (Now, I have your cell phone Matthew! :-) ) I hope you win that power tool!  I'm rooting for you! (no pun intended!) And thanks for the prompt fix!  We have brand new tenants who had moved in yesterday!  Elite Rooter and Matthew made us look good!

I was very happy with the Elite rooter staff. David, Joe, and Ben were very professional and excellent to work with. They were very conscious of our safety during the pandemic and made us feel comfortable working in our home. They did an excellent job as well. Our bathroom is working great and the trenches that were dug out in the yard are not very noticeable now that the sod  is back. I'm really happy that we don't have to re-sod the lawn. I had an overall great experience with Elite.

requested an estimate for septic tank replacement. Guy never came. When I called, they said they can't provide any specific information on whether the guy is coming or not. Don't bother with these guys

Greg is so so nice and he knows what he's doing.  Within minutes after he came, he ran the snake and the water runs fine now.  He's so honest unlike other company like 24/7 Rooter & Plumbing, who tried to rip people off.  He recommended me to install a clean out to avoid future problem.  I really appreciate his service and expertise.  Very reasonable fees ($69 to run cable to drain stoppage through a clean out), no company can beat this price. Highly recommended.

We called Elite Rooter to fix a clogged master bathroom sink.  Jorge responded and quickly resolved the issue and explained what had caused it, which was not what we had thought.  He then went under the house and took pictures of the plumbing and explained what we could do to support our very old system.  We very much enjoyed working with Jorge and appreciated his expertise and recommendations.  We will definitely call Elite and Jorge again for plumbing issues.

Had an issue with our kitchen sink not draining.   Contacted Elite Rooter and got a technician scheduled right away,  on a holiday to boot.  David Herb,  my service technician,  came out on time and quickly assessed the issue .   He provided a couple of solutions,  explained in detail what they entailed,  and allowed us to make the decision on which way to go.   Once decided,  David quickly got to work and resolved the issue.   David was professional at al times,  courteous, very neat in how he performed his work.   He kept us informed each step he took,  explaining what he was doing,  why he was doing it,  and made sure we understood and agreed before proceeding.   The work was done thoroughly,  issue was resolved and we have found a wonderful plumber.  thanks Elite and thanks especially to David!

They were incredibly prompt and professional.  I had a drain issue.  Luiz P can in under and hr.  They diagnosed the issue and were extremely professional with my entire experience.  I would high recommend for anyone wanting prompt, honest and courteous plumbing services.

We had an issue with our garbage disposal not working and water backing up into dishwasher and sink. Tried to reset it and could not get it to work. Called them and they were great from the moment the dispatcher answered the phone to when their tech Matt showed up! Matt called me to let me know he was on his way and was very polite and professional. He fixed the problem and gave us great advice on how to avoid the situation from happening again.
