Tom gives fantastic service. Returns texts, shows up on time. Does exactly what he says he'll do. highly recommended. He's done residential and commercial jobs for me. In this environment where tradesmen are super hard to find, Tom is a breath of fresh air.
I had this company do work for me in September. When I contacted the company for information on what he felt caused the problem for insurance purposes he refused to respond by never contacting me back. This was probably a month after. I left him 2 starts for a lack of professionalism. I never left any comment on my review. I left about 2 voicemails, 1 email, and 1 text over the course of a few weeks, to retrieve the information on what cause the problem. Eventually I just left the insurance information and left him alone. The lack of effort made to contact me back was unprofessional. Never heard from the guys since then. I woke up to harassment messages 1/23/2021 4 months later from the same guy that did the repair for my company. This company is extremely unprofessional! Thomas Hogan is extremely unprofessional! I have asked him multiple time to discontinue contact with me and he continued to harass me. Look at the names for the reviews he has on Google! Most of them look fake and some of them are even his family! This isn't even all of the information I have from his harassment. He messaged me on my personal cell afterwards! The texts started on 1/23/2021 notifying me he contacted the insurance agent in October which I was never notified of. This is the entire reason I gave him the bad review, professionalism. He could have sent a confirmation to my work email in October. Again unprofessional.
At first he was harassing me stating he never did any work for me. And in the same statement confirmed he knew who I was. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company you will have to deal with them multiple months after any work is performed.
It would be hard to say enough good things about BBE. Tom provides world class service. I was just extremely impressed by the quality of the entire process, from the initial contact, to the completion of the job. This is what you expect from an electrician service in the year 2020, but very few actually provide anything close. It was a simple outlet install, but others in Denver indicated it would be much harder than BBE did and took longer than BBE to tell me that than actually doing any work. Thanks Tom, and John!

Tom is amazing we had a huge electrical issue and he came out the same day to help us. Some of the best customer service we have ever received would recommend 10/10 please consider black-bear for all electrical needs.
Excellent work. They installed a floor outlet for us and it looks really nice. They were also easy to communicate with prior to and after the installation.
I haven't used this company, however I was unfortunate enough to be out on the road with them. I was traveling from Black Hawk down clear creek canyon towards Golden when this big truck comes right up on the back of me and rides my tail fir half a mile until the passing lane. I was going 5 mph over the speed limit but that wasn't fast enough for the driver of Bear Electric. When he passed me he threw his hands up in the air, not sure what he was upset about. We both quickly caught up to slower moving vehicles where I watched this truck get so close to the car in front of him I was seriously concerned he was going to hit it. Then he proceeded to pass two cars on a blind corner. This has nothing to do with his service but obviously I will never use this company if this is how erratic and dangerous they drive. If the owner wasn't the one driving I would have a serious conversation with joe your employee drives, especially with signs all over your truck .
Black Bear Electric is the absolute best out there. It was refreshing to have such awesome customer service and communication from a tradesman (Tom) throughout my entire residential project. I will not hesitate to recommend Black Bear Electric to anyone who needs help with electrical projects. These guys are the jedi knights of electrical work. Prompt, responsive, attentive and fantastic workmanship. An absolute great experience from beginning to end.
We placed a service call online and received a quick call back to schedule our appointment. Tom was the technician that came on time and was both knowledgable and professional. He did not leave until he was assured the job was complete. We would highly recommend this company as we are completely satisfied with the service received and the professionalism.
