This was my first call based off of Yelp reviews. I had an emergency - water main leak in my front lawn causing me to shut off our water main from the street. I left a vm explaining my situation but not expecting much since this was the day after New Years and I know that there are a lot of businesses which may be closed. Not even an hour had passed before I got a call from a different plumber who said that he had been referred by Allen. I may not have gotten the plumber that I called to come out but I am more than impressed by the level of customer service I received from Wrench Re-Pipe.

Very professional mom n' pop establishment!

I've used Allen 3 times now for my investment properties.

He rushes to my jobs even though he's juggling multiple other jobs at the same time.

His price is reasonable and his workmanship is 2nd to none. I highly recommend Allen!

Allen is the man! His fridge magnet has earned a permanent place on our fridge and deserves a place on yours too.

Our older home is always full of 'surprises'. A quick weekend project to fix a leaky kitchen faucet turned into a more serious situation, when the fittings I needed to replace wouldn't come off and the fragile pipe in the wall broke. Arrrrrr! Turned off the water 'at the street' and start Googling for plumbers in the area.

The other reviews for Allen are spot on, this is the guy you want. I gave him a call Monday and he's out the next day at lunch. He'd finished his morning job a bit early so he texted me that he can make it at 11. A plumber that is early and can text you...amazing!

He is courteous, efficient and obviously an expert at what he does. This is the guy you want...no 'coupons,' no B.S., just an honest professional that will give you an honest deal. Call Allen already!

I had a broken pipe in front of the house to the main line. I called Wrench Re-Pipe; Allen answered promptly. He came and inspected the broken pipe and start working right away; so we can have water inside the house. It was a 3 days Labor Day weekend. Allen worked on Sunday and Monday. We had everything fixed and I was very pleased with his pipe replacement. He guaranteed his work and I can call him if there is any problems.
He is professional and reasonable price. I highly recommend him with all plumbing repairs.

Had a water pipe break over a weekend, Allen came out and fixed it ASAP with no extra charge for weekend. Up front with pricing and great at explaining options and recommendations. Got a hold of him quickly via email. Will definitely be using him again for any future plumbing issues.

Has a user friendly website!!!

He walked the walk!

I had made the decision to do a whole house RePipe. I spoke with three companies, two large radio endorsed companies and one local person. The big well known company sent a salesman out to the house to sell me on the job. Thankfully, I waited. When I spoke to Allen from Wrench RePipe he talked a good game, sounded like he knew the business, sounded like he did quality work. I invited him out to quote the job. He impressed me with his knowledge of the job that needed to be performed.

Allen did the job quickly and professionally. He kept me informed each day as the job progressed. He took my calls. He answered my questions patiently. He did some things that really helped. He limited the number of cuts in the wall, fished pipe so the damage was minimal, patched the walls and cleaned up so I did not have too. All appreciated!

Allen's motto is that he will beat anyone's price. I have some other rentals and have had some experiences where I felt like the plumbers ripped me off. I am happy to endorse Allen as a plumber you can trust, to bid fairly and to do your job correctly. He is my go to plumber.

Allen is now my go-to for all things plumbing. Allen has completed two separate jobs for me; one large and one small. He is extremely knowledgeable and very honest, and will explain what is needed and why. Allen is very easy to contact and responds very quickly. I highly recommend Allen for any plumbing issue you may have.

I sent a request to this company. Within five minutes Allen responded. He advised me that he was unable to assist me. Most contractors would leave it at that. Not Allen! Not only did he take the time to respond to my request expeditiously, he also took the time to go through his contacts to send me a referral. Now that's what you call great customer service!

There's a lot of contractor competition. Good contractor relationships are built on great customer service! If contractors have subpar customer service skills in our first talks, that ends my talks with them, never mind giving me a quote!

If his work is as good as his customer service, that's a great combination!

Called Allen with Wrench Re-pipe about a toliet repair yesterday . He sent me a text back that he was booked this week. He also gave me the name of another guy he trusted. Awesome to find someone who recognizes that he cant take every job at the risk of wasting a customers time. The other plumber was Bernie of Carns Rooter. He was able to come out today. Fixed my problem. Was friendly as was his son who was working with him today. Cleaned up when he was done. The price was great. I couldn't be happier with both Allen and Bernie. Thank you both!

Allen is definitely as good as it gets. I have rental property in Riverside even though I do not live there. My tenants complained about a recurring issue with the leaky bathtub faucet. Allen worked with the tenants to fix the problem the same day. My tenants were so pleased that the faucet works like a champ when he was done. He called me and kept me abreast on his progress and the ultimate costs. I definitely highly recommend him to anyone who don't know much about plumbing and just need someone trustworthy to fix the problem.

I had a lot of unknown plumbing issues in an older home that needed to be inspected and fixed. Allen scoped the sewer line with a camera and was able to assure me that the line was in good shape, saving me thousands. He then addressed several issues inside the home, including repairing drain lines that had probably never been serviced since the house was built, and adding clean-outs and a larger washing machine discharge that will prevent a whole lot of headaches later. Additionally, the prior owners did a few amateur hack jobs on some of the fixtures, which Allen corrected. The house is now completely operable plumbing-wise. I will definitely be calling again in the future for a re-pipe and additional work separating the irrigation line from the home. Thank you!

Our hot water heater went out on Sunday morning. The thermal coupling had quit on us. I called the manufacturer of our water heater and had the parts sent FedEx overnight. This meant we would be without hot water for two days. Once we received the part, I would still have had to try and install it. Having no background in hot water heater repairs, I decided to contact a few local pros. Allen was the first to respond and the most professional. He contacted me within a half hour and told me he had the part. Another plumber told me the part was only available through home depot, this turned out not to be entirely true. Finally, Allen showed up within an hour and began working on our hot water heater like a seasoned surgeon. He explained every step along the way and completed the job in under two hours. He even took the time to show me how to do maintenance on my hot water heater. I've never thought about having a plumbers number handy, but without a doubt, I'll be keeping Allen's handy for any future plumbing issues. I fully recommend Allen to anyone that wants an honest and knowledgeable plumber. Thanks again for all the help!

I hired Allen to replace my leaking water heater. Everything went better than I hoped for! He was on time, over-communicated his arrival time up to an exact minute. He was the second-lowest bidder for the job, and the number he quoted did not magically change upon his arrival. Even left the job site cleaner than it was before! Honest, punctual, reasonable - what's not to like??? Super nice guy in person, too.
His fridge magnet has earned a permanent place on our fridge as well!

These guys are a lifesaver and the most professional and highest skilled plumbing company in California!!! I had a major problem with my tankless water heater and had to deal with two annoying companies that were clueless.

After dealing with companies that couldn't correct my tankless water heater issue, I found Wrench Re-Pipe. Sadly they were overbooked. But once I told them I didn't have hot water the owner came over and got me temporarily running during his lunch. He was able to return after the job he was on for a permanent repair.

I had been the victim of an improper original installation. I wish I had used this company in the first place.

The only downside with Wrench Repipe is they are very overbooked and take a while to get to you if you have a small job. But they do go the extra mile and are very much worth the wait.

They're overbooked with good reason, they're really that good

The work I had done:

1. Replaced Pilot Assembly on the Water Heater
2. Converted Hose Bib to a Threaded Type for outdoor hose.

We've had a problem with our water heater for several months where the pilot light would go out. My main reason for not calling in a plumber is I feel like I'm gonna get screwed. However, the problem needed to get handled and it was clearly out of my scope of abilities. I specifically searched for 'Plumbing, Water Heater Installation/Repair' with my Yelp search because I felt the water heater was more of a specialty service. After running the search on Yelp I saw the first two paid ads (I never click on those) and then the next three were large companies based in Orange County. As I went down the list I found Wrench Re-Pipe sitting at number 9 and I noticed 5 star review with 170 reviewers. What struck me as I read the reviews was everyone mentioned 'Allen' by first name. I felt most comfortable knowing the person I was going to deal with.

Here's my timeline:

8:30 a.m.: I emailed Allen
8:51 a.m.: He responded and asked about the type of water heater and where I lived and said its outside of his normal service area but he wanted to see if he had the right components.
9:25 a.m: I sent him pictures of the serial number
9:55 a.m.: He said he did have the parts for it and could be at my place within the hour. He told me two prices it could be and how much his labor costs would be. I felt it was a fair price--especially for how many small nuances he knew about my water heater.

He arrived at 10:50 and started working immediately. He's such a cool guy that I probably was irritating with my deluge of questions i.e. what's that do?, how's that work?, etc. As he dug into the water heater he identified the problem immediately: a faulty pilot assembly. He taught me how it worked and why mine had failed. He worked swiftly and kept everything clean.

Since he was there I asked if he could look at an issue we had with the outdoor hose bib that was leaking profusely. He looked at it and had the parts to fix it. What he did next I thought was cool: he suggested he convert the hose bib to a threaded type so if it ever failed again it wouldn't need to be cut and soldered but rather replaced.

His price was exactly what he said it would be and he was out by 12:30. If anyone is unsure about who to use please take the testimony of a huge skeptic of plumbers that Allen is the guy you want to use!

After the water department replaced our meter what was a small leak in my front hose bib became a large leak. There was also a possible leak at water turn off in same area. I contacted Allen through website and heard back within 20 minutes. I text him picture and description of problem and he gave me 3 options to fix. I decided to replace all the pipes in area and add pressure regulator. It was all original and I wanted to fix it all up. He came out same day after finishing his current job. He added two separate shutoff valves so water can be shut off separate from house and the yard sprinklers. Very happy with his work.

Allen did a great job! He told me what was wrong and how much it would be from the beginning and never changed the price. He was said he'd show up in about an hour and he did. If your looking for someone for plumbing or pipes, this is the Guy you should go with. He tells you the what, why and how much in a straightforward way.

I called Wrench re pipe because of the numerous 5 star reviews. I was originally interested in a Navien Tankless, but got great advice with no up-sells and went with a normal water tank.
Richard could not have been any nicer. He is professional, punctual & his work is impeccable. I would give him 6 stars if I could. Anyone looking for a professional, do yourself a favor and call Richard at Wrench re pipe.

We've lived in Corona for over 12 years and having to call a plumber has always been a nightmare. My wife called me yesterday at work because of a water leak problem, but there was no way I could leave and come home.

The mixer valve in our shower suddenly broke and water was shooing out of the handle. It was so bad it was causing a leak and water stain on the kitchen ceiling that was below the shower. She called a couple of 'name' plumbers who wanted to charge us an arm and leg for a home visit and inspection. It seems like when you're in an emergency flood situation, they have you right where they want you. My wife was understandably intimidated by pulling names out of the phone book. That's how I also felt because we've had such bad experiences in the past.

I read a lot of reviews on yelp, but never thought about using it to find a plumber. My wife did a quick yelp search and found Wrench Re-Pipe. We ended up with extremely professional service and even got a verification phone call when the plumber was on the way. Some of the big name guys were telling me that the 'starting' price for my mixer valve repair was around $500 and they also had an inspection charge / service call, although that charge would be free if we had them do the work. Wrench Re-pipe got me repaired out the door for $150! I was amazed that my wife didn't get ripped off when we were in a bind!

Even though these guys are repipe specialists, they still do smaller jobs. I slapped their sticker on my hot water heater so I never loose their number! They're also very quick via email and all their contact info's on their website (re-pipe dot com).

My wife was also very comfortable with the plumber. He explained in easy to understand language the type of work that needed to be done to fix our mixer valve. After dealing with so many unreliable / rip-off plumbing companies, I'm happy to find someone that didn't try to scam my wife in an emergency situation. My area gets a lot of broken water pipes in the slab. This company's great, I can't recommend them enough!

Allen Wrench arrived within two hours on a Sunday. We had water leaking from behind drywall. There is no appliance or faucet there. He diagnosed a confusing situation, corrected the builder's faulty pipe routing, and stopped the line to the sprinklers - the source of the leak. Allen returned as promised and installed a pressure regulator and shut off valves, front and back. He is prompt, friendly, and explains parts and his procedures. His prices are fair. He does not inflate the price of parts.

Call Allen for an estimate or repairs!

Our house was having a heck of a time getting the pilot to light within our water-heater so we decided to find a repair person to fix our situation. I had sent a message to Allen late in the evening and he got back to me first thing. The best part about working with Allen is that he prioritizes. We didn't have hot water, so Allen was able to fit us in that morning just before lunch. I had called our usual plumber, and it would have been another day out because they did not have the parts--Allen had everything we needed in stock.

I am very glad I made the call. He performed a diagnostic on our GE water-heater and determined it was the whole pilot setting that needed a replacement. He didn't take but an hour which was filled with not only a demo on water-heater repairing (he kept me informed about what he was doing throughout the whole process) but also engaged in a bang-up conversation about the economy, the housing market in the area, and happenings around the UC Riverside area.

I would definitely recommend Allen to a friend. His timing is pretty good; he sticks to what he quotes pretty well. He's honest and communicative. Much appreciated!

Allen came by today and ran a camera down my main sewer line. There are a number of places in the bell and hubs in which grass roots have gotten through resulting in stoppages. I called Allen after reading his rating in Yelp for a second opinion. There were two differences between Allen's opinion and the other guys. 1) I will eventually need a liner installed, but not immediately. The other company said I needed to have the work done NOW, or it could would cost me twice as much to have an entire sewer line replaced. 2) When I NEED to do the work, his quote is half the price of the other guys. Their's was a five digit figure, his was six figures and HALF the cost.

Allen spent over an hour and a half doing the investigation and was very thorough. Based upon what I have read in Yelp about Wrench Re-Pipe and my perception of Allen, I will call his company in the future for all of my plumbing needs.

Allen did a great job!! He was very responsive and came to my home within 1 hour of calling him. I had an old water heater that was on its last days and it finally gave out. It had been leaking and was rusted on the bottom. It was on its last breaths. The pilot would start when attempting to ignite it, but it would not stay lit. I described the issue to Allen. He was very honest in providing my options and didn't try to up-sale or push towards either option. We decided to go with a new water heater instead of repair due to the condition of the water heater. He had it installed and ready to go within a few hours. I highly recommend this company for any job. He also provided good information on tankless water heaters and soft water filters as well. Thanks for you help Allen!

Our water heater was not producing hot water due to a malfunctioned thermalcouple. We called around on a Sunday morning, but the people we called were either unavailable or trying to scam us (long story). We called Allen, and although we couldn't reach him right away (we later found out he was on a job), he returned our call within a few minutes. We knew from his voicemail message that he had personality and would be easy to talk to. We were right. His communication was very clear and informative. On the phone he gave us a fair quote, and kept us in communication at every step of the process (finishing his current job to preparing for ours, etc.) until he reached our house. At the house he took time to explain what he'll do and even showed me tips on how to do some of the maintenance myself. As he was working he'd explain some of what he was doing to me, which I enjoyed since I like learning new things. I had a lot of questions for him which he graciously answered. It's obvious that he has a lot of pride for his trade and profession. When he was done, he even did a complimentary flush of the old water and sediment for us (we told him one of the scammy businesses we mentioned above wanted to charge us $300 for it). Real nice person and really professional. He even took off his shoes coming into our house! We will definitely contact Allen again. Highly recommended!

Allen was extremely helpful. He explained everything on the phone and he was also able to communicate to me via text message which really helped me get answers to him as fast as possible while I'm at my day job. I did the right thing for my tenants and replaced the water heater instead of just repairing a dying water heater. Happy tenants, happy landlord!

Last weekend our main water line was leaking. Wrench Re-Pipe gave us an immediate response. The other person we called, never called back even though they claimed to have a 100% response rate too. He put in a new emergency shut off valve and replaced the damaged pipe. He even fixed a couple of other problems while he was here. He installed a valve in the bathroom and fixed a pipe in the backyard. He was quick and very helpful. He even recorded a video for us of what we need to do once we get an extra piece for our backyard. He ended up coming back the next day to put the piece in for us. I will definitely contact him again for future needs.

Can't say enough good things about Allen! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He did amazing work on a complicated job in our home. He gave us all our options without trying to hard sell us on anything. He communicated clearly with us throughout our project so we always knew his progress and what to expect and there were no surprises. Plus, he was much more affordable than several other quotes we got from other companies. If you have plumbing or re-pipe needs, don't waste time or money with anyone else. Call Allen. Seeing how highly reviewed Wrench Re-Pipe was, I spoke with Allen who agreed to take a look at my water heater. Allen immediately impressed me by texting me updates of when he would arrive. Allen quickly diagnosed the problem and was very good about explaining the problem to me. He was personable, professional, and he installed a new water heater promptly and I found it heats water faster than the previous one. Highly satisfied and would enthusiastically recommend him to others.

We had a leak in our garage, and Allen was the only one of three plumbers who got back to us. He was in the middle of a job, but was able to fit us in the next morning, always letting us know his expected arrival time as it shifted slightly. He is very skilled and straightforward and is fairly priced in our opinion. He is all about quality work and doing the job the right way. He took time to explain options, looking to fix the problem at minimal cost first. We will definitely use him again. Highly recommend!

I have an ancient water heater that couldn't hold a pilot light. I called everyone and without even inspecting it told me to replace it based on age alone, which, of course, couldn't have happened at the worst possible time economically! Allen of Wrench Re-Pipe was recommended by my neighbor as a truly honest plumber. He came out immediately and gave me all my options. Allowing me to choose what my budget could allow at this time. He had us up and running in less than an hour. I can't even express what a lifesaver this was. My water heater will eventually have to be replaced and this is the only plumber I trust to do it!

Had Wrench Re-Pipe back out to fix a faulty part of my water heater (Whirlpools fault) and he had the part shipped to my house and was there within a couple hours of it arriving at my door. repaired the water heater, repaired a problem I had with my toilet and also upgraded my water heater to allow it to blow out the sediment that was building up. Great experience and great plumber that is knowledgeable and willing to discuss with you your options.

Allen installed a tankless water heater for us, including all the new piping that required. He was prompt; he didn't leave us waiting while he took other jobs. He was considerate and professional; he covered the carpets with remnants to avoid tracking dirt into the house. He was reasonable for the work he did, and when something unexpected came up, he showed us the problem and explained what he needed to do. He also didn't try to increase the price outrageously; he did what he needed to as reasonably as possible. Since then, we have had a couple of small jobs and he has been prompt and very reasonable in those cases, too. I wouldn't use another plumber, and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Allen did an excellent copper re-pipe of my home and I am completely satisfied, not to mention I found him enjoyable to deal with. He always communicated extremely well and I always knew when he was coming and how the job was progressing. He clearly has more knowledge and skill than most plumbers you'll find today but he also put a lot of thought into making the system serviceable, user-friendly, and with the small touches that most homeowners don't think of one their own, like another hose bib in a more useful location, an extra shut-off in just the right spot, or a convenient stub-out with a valve for future sprinklers, and the best recommendation of all: he realized that our old water heater, a tank-type in a closet in the kitchen, could be replaced with a sweet, outdoor tankless unit. Three other companies bid on this job but not one suggested this option (which shows they weren't putting much thought into the job since it would have meant more revenue for their company). With a little painting and a few new shelves, I was able to install a great pantry in our small kitchen and it makes a huge difference in storage space. The tankless water heater he installed, at a very reasonable cost, is an awesome piece of technology that has performed flawlessly.

Probably the best recommendation I can make is that Allen did all the work himself! A recent, prior plumbing repair by another company ended up being done by an apprentice who was clearly in over his head.

I feel truly lucky to have found Allen and to have access to his considerable skills, knowledge and creativity. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any prospective customer.

We called Allen because we had leak in our main line. He made a trip out even though he was booked for the day to take a look and was able to come back out later in the day to do the work. I had a plumbing problem which caused me to have to turn off my water at the street. I called Allen at 7 AM in the morning and left him a message; by 730 he had returned my call.

Allen explained to me that he was busy all day, but would stop by before going to his first job and see if he could provide advice.

Allen stopped by and looked at my problem. He told me if everything went right, on his pending job, he would come by later and make the needed repairs.

Allen told me that he would text me and keep me updated on how his job was going; he did just that. After finishing his prior commitment, Allen promptly came out and professionally and courteously made the necessary repairs. Not only did he make my repairs, but he checked in later to make sure all was well. That was unexpected, but very much appreciated.

If you are in need of an honest, professional, fair priced plumber, I would highly recommend you call Allen at Wrench Re-Pipe.

I had a constant wet spot near a large tree on a slope in my side yard. Repairing the nearby sprinkler head did nothing so I searched Yelp for a plumber and found Allen. He responded to my call an hour later with a text saying he would be at my home in 15 minutes. He took one look and knew that tree roots had caused a leak in the main waterline. The tree is over twenty years old and twenty feet high. He told me that the cost would depend upon how difficult it would be to get to the leak and then fix it and gave me a price range. The digging began at the wet area. The hole was over three feet deep through some roots as large as four/five inches before getting to the mainline. However, the leak was up the slope. So the digging moved to the up slope side of the tree going almost three feet deep through large roots again until finding the mainline. But the leak was not there. The developer's landscapers had planted the tree over the waterline.and the leak was directly beneath the trunk of the tree. It meant that the waterline would have to be relocated to the side of the tree. It took two days to determine the location of the leak and then to relocate the mainline to the side of the tree and up the slope which was successfully done.

Having Allen at my home seemed like the time to deal with other problems so I asked Allen if he could determine why water was no longer going to one of my toilets. He replaced the angle stop and problem solved. He noticed that my water regulator was 25 years old and suggested that I replace it to bring it to code which I did. I had a bib that was leaking at the back of my house and he agreed to replace that. I had another solid brass decorative bib that no one could fix. He said he would try to fix for me and so far it is working fine. Then he placed an irrigation line underground at my request.

I had an appointment in San Francisco and had to leave before the work was done. Allen said to give him a check and he would finish the work we agreed in conversation. I did that and when I returned home, I found the work done exactly as he had stated, everything was in perfect order. I so appreciate that he came through for me. I will definitely call him again.

My house popped two slab leaks. I'm a first-time homeowner so I was in over my head when all this stuff happened. The plumbers told me getting my leaks rerouted would probably cost marginally less than just having my house re-piped.

I did some research and contacted Wrench Re-pipe. Allen was super friendly and he agreed to come over to give me a quote. When he came over, he was really informative and pretty candid with me. Also, it should be noted Allen was on time when he came over -- this never happens with contractors.

Anyway, long story short, I agreed to his services for a complete re-pipe, water softener, and reverse osmosis water filter. He worked tirelessly for about 10 days. He was always on time and really gave me the impression he knew what he was talking about.

Allen was super cool to talk to and I even left him unsupervised at my house several times because I had to go to work. Allen was professional and clean.

I am glad I went with Allen for the re-pipe. The water softener is a luxury which Allen told me but it was totally worth it in my opinion. I honestly don't really care either way although I do appreciate cleaning the shower glass less but my girlfriend loves it for her hair/skin or whatever.

Allen has been terrific. He has been working on our home for the last week doing a complete repipe of our 1966 home. The work has been top notch and he has gone above and beyond to deliver us a water system that in my opinion is better than what the home had when it was originally built. He is very professional and fair with his prices as the work truly speaks for itself. If you have plumbing issues Allen should be the first and only call you'll need to make.

This guy is amazing. I call him up on a Saturday morning after the 4th of July with an emergency plumbing problem. To make a long story short, that same day the problem was fixed!! No more problem. And my tenant thinks I'm awesome. So, I found my new plumber.
Professional, friendly, honest, and a job well done for a great price. What else could you ask for? Oh, and Allen even noticed I was a zombie fan and adjusted his warranty to protect me against any zombie attack that might damage the plumbing.
So he has an epic sense of humor also!!
I give this guy an A++++.

Took a chance on Allen Wrench because I saw all the great reviews. Thank you Yelpers! He was fantastic! His job was professional and clean. He replaced my water heater and my pressure valve out front. I hate plumbers, because they seem dishonest from my past experiences. But this guy's contact info is on my fridge for good!! Hard to find honest help.

I needed a plumber for weeks and had been putting if off due to cost and not sure who I can trust. I love Yelp for all it's feedback so I figure Allen was my best choice. I emailed him and within the hour he got back to me and set up a date 2 days later with a quote.

My issue was my dishwasher and sink smelled like rotten egg and everything I tried to do was not working. He came out and did some crazy scouring with power pressure of my pipes to push all the junk out and not with cables but the newer stuff. He even did my washer line since it was in my kitchen also. He noticed my dishwasher pipe was not put in properly and he fixed it for me and said this will help with not getting dirty water inside my dishwasher. He talked to me step by step everything he was doing. So professional and gave me amazing tips to maintain it. Right before he was leaving he noticed my air conditioner was dirty. He turned on the water and showed me how to clean it gently to get all the dirt off. He said that will help with my bill and the house cooling down faster. Which I have noticed that my air hasn't been as cold as it was 2 months ago. I thanked him for all his advise and will use him again and recommend him to anyone. So nice to meet someone who is genuine and nice.

He didn't even charge me more for the other things he did which I was pleasantly surprised.

Thank you Allen!!

Judy R: Allen did a great job!! He repaired a hot water copper supply line and an abs shower drain. Both were in tight difficult to reach spots. One shower drain part was out of stock but , Allen managed to find it. Both repairs were high quality and promptly done at a fair price. He was always on time and even texted us his eta. We highly recommend him

We had 7 different jobs to be done, but we hired him to do just one, replace our hot water heater. We had read consumer reports evaluations and he carried the brand they recommended highest. The two additional extras that they recommended, he suggested we make (they added very little to the cost). He came and did the job quickly and cleanly. We asked for an estimate for the other jobs we needed. He gave it to us so he came back the second day to do the other jobs. Some were easy for a plumber, and some were very difficult. He did them all with quality products and stuck to the prices he quoted. We were very happy with him and will use him in the future if we need plumbing done. The only problem was that he is a real talker.

Allen is a true professional. Will you pay alittle bit more then other plumbers...probably. But the workmanship is second to none. I called allen because of all the 5 star ratings he has received. And Im glad i did. 5 star quality all the way through. Remember....you get what you pay for, and dealing with a repipe....you want the best company. And that company is Allen Wrench ripipe!

I've used Allen's services before to help get things in order in my newly purchased house and based on his performance then, fixing a washer drain, I called him again. Allen is the best plumber I've ever dealt with. This second time around I called Wrench Re-Pipe to help with changing some plumbing arrangements in my bathroom, specifically with installing new fixtures for my bathtub and sinks. instead of taking advantage of the situation (as some other plumbers had attempted to do) Allen helped me out by directing me to cheaper alternatives that looked as good as the materials I had already purchased, but were more reliable from a plumbing standpoint. He also ended up doing some major in the wall re-piping to a leaking corroded line. He also installed a port in the wall so that if ever there was a problem again no one would have to cut open the dry wall in our closet to see the issue. The Kicker is... he did all of that work for the same price as his initial estimate under 300 dollars and he didn't charge for the extra materials he didn't think he'd have to use. Allen goes the extra 2 miles for his customers and that's why I will never hire any other plumber. I wish Allen did electrical work and carpentry, if that was the case I'd have the man on permanent retainer.

So 2 years after Allen re-piped my hot and cold water in my house. We recently had a leak from our ceiling downstairs. I emailed him asking him if he could check it out. I had a response within an hour. It only leaked when the shower was on so i didn't need him to come out right away. He was there the very next day. He had to do just a small hole in the wall because he has a high teck camera that can go into the wall to see what's wrong. He explained everything to us and let us look on his camera screen to see the problem. He saw that the problem was not from his work but from our overflow in our tub. The gasket was old and just needed to be replaced. Very easy and inexpensive fix, thank God. Because we are a preferred customer there was no charge to us . The camera inspection alone runs approximately $200 to $300 with other plumbing companies. We offered to at least pay him his service fee and he said no that he just wants to make sure that we are good. In all honesty he really does care about his excellent work that he does and taking care of his customers.

Had a very recently installed shower start leaking in the wall. Allen came out did a quick leak detection and was able to take care of the issue all on the same visit. He very quickly got to the leak and was able to show me why it was leaking, which was due to a poor soldering job on the pipe leading to the shower head. Allen cut off the pipe and replaced a section of the pipe, then he explained and showed me the difference in the soldering. Seems that his experience serve him and his customers very well. Very pleased with his service, highly recommend.

Allen is one of those few good guys out there trying to run an honest business! He is great! He is very professional. Has great communication! If you leave a message, you will not wait days for a response. He gets back to you as soon as he can, my experience has been within the hour. When he's working on a job for you and needs to leave, he is sending you text letting you know exactly how long it's going to take!

Allen doesn't sugar coat anything. He will tell you exactly what you need. If you've gotten a quote for a large job, I would definitely have him give you a second opinion, as he can tell you if there were other things added that you didn't need!

He has help out with replacing a tank-less water-heater that was improperly installed and cost us more in repairs then we would have liked. (Installed by another company who was quick to sell and slow to service or repair the initial install issues!)

Definitely recommend his services!

I had a water valve leak on one of my toilets, I called several different plumbers last night (around 5p) I found on yelp, and Allen was the only one who was able to come this morning (In fact, I called almost 10 plumbers and he was one of two that actually called me back). Not only did he fix everything, he educated my husband and I on several other different things on our house. I will only work with this guy for plumbing work now and will definitely refer him to my friends and family. It's good to finally have a legitimate plumber; especially when my husband and I just bought a house that needs upgrades.

Plumbing and plumbers bring fear to homeowners. So, when we discovered water leaking from our water heater in the garage, we were anxious (thinking to ourselves, oh-crap, this is going to hurt the pocketbook. It did).

Specifically, Wrench re-Pipe (Allen), was:

1. Honest.
2. Followed-thru.
3. Attempted to identify the issue over the phone first (and I also sent photos of the issue).
4. Provided internet resources for self-diagnosis prior to a service call.
5. Provided a range of the potential $$$ damages over the phone after steps 3 and 4 above.
6. Showed up when he said he was going to show up.
7. Returned after fixing the original issue (leaking water heater and requiring a new one) to address the next issue (noises coming from the water heater when filling with water).
8. Fixed the additional issue (faulty water valve and this was something we were already aware of) only to a day later discover that the fix (a new main valve in the garage) had a defective part.
9. Allen again attempted us to self-diagnose. Apparent that it was an issue with the new water valve Allen installed.
10. Allen returned. Test the valve. Drove off to get a new one after talking to the manufacturer. Returned. Reinstalled. Re-Tested and all is back to normal!
11. Not a cheap experience (new water heater and new main valve = $2500)
12 Thanks Allen for being honest, following through and standing by your work.

I've called Allen to repair a toilet, install a new water heater and replace a leaky garbage disposal and he's always responded right away. Allen the plumber came to do sink repair for us, we had a water filter that was leaking. He fixed the water filtration system leak and was extremely fast, friendly, and charged a very fair price to us for the repair.

I was afraid to hire a plumber because I didn't want to get ripped off or have someone in my home who seemed shady (you have probably worked with someone like that before, right?). Allen was a nice person, polite and courteous, didn't make me feel stupid for my lack of knowledge what was wrong with the sink. He seemed trustworthy and I really appreciate that. I would hire him again without hesitation if we ever needed a plumber again! Call Allen for your sink repair or plumbing repair, you will be glad you did!

I heard of Wrench repipe through a mutual friend who had a problem with his tankless boiler not turning on. I was having a really bad leak inside my Navien tankless water heater. There was a diagnostic charge, but the overall repair was nearly half the price that other companies were quoting me at. He also had the part on hand and the entire repair was taken care of the same day. Wrench is super friendly, he will tell you exactly when he is leaving to come do the work and his exact ETA. He does great work and I will always use his company for any of my boiler issues going forward. There are a lot of scammers out there but wrench is honest and the best part is he does excellent work.

Allen was extremely helpful. I called and left him a message when I noticed I wasn't getting any hot water. He called me back right away and asked a few questions so he can determine if he had the parts to fix the water heater. He did not, but he gave me the number to the manufacturer and they sent me the part the next day. He came first thing the next morning and fixed the problem.

My tenants complainted about having problem flushing the toilet and a back flow of drainage in the backyard. I called Allen and scheduled an appointment with him. He came out to look at the problem and instantly explained to me that it is usually a clog in the main pipe. Since this is a rental property I wasn't able to be there, he offered to come back at a later time did the work for me and then billed me over email.

He updated me and emailed me back promptly. and the work completed was great. He also offered to save me some money by sending pictures to me thru email in the future if there are anymore problems so I won't need to drive all the way to Riverside again.

Overall his work is great and at a VERY REASONABLE price. He charged me $140 to unclog my main drainage. Allen was very informative and professional. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I had a slab leak at my rental and the plumbers I've used in the past were either being flaky on communicating with my tenant or they were all sick. I luckily found Allen with Wrench Re-Pipe. He's been in business a long time & specializes in re-piping, so he was perfect for this complicated slab leak repair which included re-routing. Allen was able to get to the house the same day I called. He started the job that afternoon and finished by the next evening. Several areas of drywall had to be opened, so it was very convenient that Allen will also do the drywall repair/texture at a reasonable price. He communicated well, he is quick to text back, his price is in line with other plumbers and he is very knowledgeable. He emailed me a detailed invoice with photos and gave me a good warranty.

Allen was an absolute doll. We had a bathtub faucet that would not turn off and tried a DIY job unsuccessfully. Then we dilly dallied and procrastinated and had to shut the water valve off and run and turn it on to shower and basically living like we were camping for a few days. When I could no longer procrastinate I turned to Yelp for plumber reviews. Even with Yelp I tend to have bad luck with the companies I call for household help. They usually turn out to be incompetent con men at best. I liked what I read about Allen and gave him a call. Finally!!! I picked right. He was on a job then had another job on a Saturday no less but said he'd be by around 7 PM. He quoted a tentative price depended on what was required, came right on time, and finished the job quickly and neatly. It really would've been a miserable weekend had we had to wait till Monday. Thank you so much allen!

We had a hot water pipe leaking in our concrete slab. I e-mailed Allen and he came out, diagnosed the problem, then went to work repairing that and other plumbing problems we had.

Allen is friendly, reliable, honest, and conscientious about his work. He uses the best parts and makes sure the job looks good when it's complete. More than simply repairing our plumbing, he improved it with better parts and construction than what the builders had originally installed. Communication is good, too --- being able to reach Allen by e-mail is a big plus.

I highly recommended Allen and definitely will use Wrench Re-Pipe again!

Great, the plumbing in the whole house backs up, so I start calling people. The plumbers showing up were total rip off weirdos. My favorite quote was $10,000. NOPE, NOT TODAY.

I was actually referred to these guys by a friend that had some major work done, and was told this guy was the no BS type. They were dead on. This company was awesome and even let me know by TXT when they were on the way. They weren't cheap, but they did save me an average of over $6k over other estimates I got. I'm always wary when hiring anyone because I'm known to be cynical but Allen was actually a pleasure to work with. He was so responsive via Yelp messenger and text message like a teenager texting their BFF. That was impressive. I honestly wish all vendors were this accessible and responsive. He was able to provide me a quote over messages, but realized he doesn't service my area. I called another vendor who required an appointment first before quoting... which was also scheduled couple days later, all the while, my home's water pressure was unbearably low. Luckily, Allen reached out again and said he was able to make it out to my area. He came, he saw, he conquered... although he ended up charging more than what he originally quoted me via yelp messenger, it did require more work with soldering and cutting pipes than he anticipated and it was still $100 less than another vendor had estimated. So I happily Venmo'd him the dough for his capabilities, pride in his work, honesty and responsiveness.

I highly recommend Allen. He's helped put faith back into honest professionals. He also installs water softener systems, so when I'm ready to get one, he'll definitely be on the top of my list.

I also had an issue with my sink stopper and he was nice enough to look at it and tell me I needed a part at Home Depot and sent me a YouTube on how to replace it. He even linked the video at the part where I needed to watch so I didn't have to watch the entire video to figure it out. What?! Thank you Allen!

I contacted a few of the other re-pipe companies for quotes and they sent out salesmen.
They couldn't answer specific questions that I had, since I to am a Contractor just not a plumber. So I knew the right questions to ask since I already did my research on the PEX pipe. So after I recieved their quotes I found Allen on Yelp and spoke to him and he sounded like he actually goes out himself along with his crew to perform the work and he does. Well he had some very satisfied customers but his price was about $500 to $900 higher than the other bids. But I have learned already that you get what you pay for. It's not worth the headache worrying that the cheap guys will probably cut corners and slip in lower quality parts or if they use actual journeymen plumbers or just day labors to do the work.
To make a long story short, Allen did an awesome job and they were clean and covered things up.
Thank you very much Allen.

We have had issues with our water pressure for some time and we saw it getting worse and worse as each day passes. You can't flush the toilet and expect the water to be on with normal amount of pressure at all. Washing clothes and dishes at the same time? Nope, you gotta wait until one is finished. Want to take a quick 5 minute shower especially in our drought? Nope, it will take 15 minutes because there's no water pressure so only a little water would come out. Yes frustrating. I was looking on yelp and as it is, looking for a plumber that is honest and will get the job done right is hard. I was glad to see my friend did a review for Wrench Re-pipe. My hubby and I couldn't be happier with the results. He told us that we needed to cap off our softener system that we no longer use and we got a new regulator. Our water pressure is back. We would definitely recommend Allen to do any plumbing related work for you. Honest, dependable and prices are reasonable. Thanks Allen!

After our 13 year old water heater gave up the ghost suddenly, I went on Yelp to find a repair person. Thank goodness for all these 5 star reviews for Allen and Wrench Re-Pipe. I called him and left a message and in just a few minutes had a phone call back and an appointment for the same day. From our first conversation to the installation of a brand new water heater just a few hours later, he kept my husband and I in the loop as far as what he needed to do and why. His initial quote (which was extremely fair) was spot on and there were no hidden fees, sudden changes, unnecessary work, etc.

He was friendly, informative, honest and a joy to work with. As a small business owner myself, I always try to support local small businesses and in this case I am sooooo glad I did! It is nice to know that businesses like this still exist - people who actually care about their customers and the work that they are doing.

Thank you Allen! You've earned a customer, and referrals, for life!

Problem: Ceiling water stain on my first floor. Bathroom located on second floor. Great! (NOT!)

Communication: A+
I'll be honest, Allen was not the first plumber I called. But thank goodness my original plumber cancelled on me and none of the others called back (in a timely manner). Allen called me back and came out the following day. Communication was on point and he kept me in the loop the entire time. I was able to move about my daily chores without having to wait at home from 1pm-5pm like other providers.

Knowledge: A+
As I described the problem over the phone he immediately knew. Of course he won't know the exact problem till he arrives. The following day he promptly came as promised. Drilled a small 1in hole in my ceiling and looked in between my first-second floor to find my leak. Funny thing, he drilled the hole exactly below my leak and we were able to see it on his camera. Seems like he had an intuition where the leak was. Keep in mind, the water stain was about 1.5ft in diameter.

Leaked was coming from my toilet. Apparently, my donkey butt of a contractor did not install my toilet properly creating an improper seal. More on this contractor in my other reviews that I have yet to type. Allen went to home depot and got the new part and re-sealed my toilet. Allen repeatedly stayed by the toilet and kept flushing the toilet to see if the problem was fixed, and it WAS! No more drip-drip! One week later, still no drip-drip! Gave some pointers on how to fix my dry-wall stain and the rest was history.

Overall: A+
- Had a great conversation about cars. He gave me pointers on other plumbing projects I plan on doing myself.
- Spent his time making sure there was not a persistent leak after he fixed the problem. If it was me I would have left after I fixed the toilet.
- Described the problem to me in laymen terms.
- Professional
- LICENSED! I'm always cautious of those people on craigslists and standing in front of home depot claiming to be a plumber, arborist , electrician, etc.
- I will be using Allen again for sure when i remodel!
- Price is very competitive compared with other plumbers! I had various plumbers/insurance adjusters come out to fix/estimate a busted pipe underneath my bedroom on a concrete slab (in Dallas) at the same time I had Allen do his repairs.

I just had Allen repipe my house and couldn't be happier. He communicates very well, explaining everything that he does before, during and after he does it, so you understand exactly what's going on. He lets you know when he will be there and keeps his commitments. He knows the latest technology so he can provide the most up to date service. And he's a nice guy, too! You won't be disappointed.

I had a very good experience with this company. I had a leak in my garden, same day I called, Allen returned my call and got some details, first in the morning he showed up, very professional guy, he performed a very good job and fixed other issues I had at the same location (with extra fee of course, but it shows that he cares). the job is clean and looks good.

Allen is the man! I needed to replace a tankless after ten years, but the big box contractor quoted $12,000 to install the $1000 unit. Allen got the job accomplish for a fraction of that price. He knew what needed to be done and did the work himself. He didn't mind that I hovered to watch-and-learn. By the end the day, I felt like I had made a new friend.
I have already signed Allen up to replace the big-box water softener and have every expectation of giving him another 5 star review.

Wrench Re-Pipe

Although I live out of state, this company helped my from getting completely ripped off by a local guys.

I had my water heater go out on a Friday evening and called around for repair prices and schedules. It was not a fun undergoing. The few people that answered the phone gave me quotes of $2,200 - $3,400 to replace my water heater. But I thought I had seen them at Home Depot for under $500!

My Dad in California had recently had some plumbing work done at his home, so I called him to get his input. Like most times, my dad had some great advice. He told me to call the company that did his work, Wrench Repipe, and said the owner of the company had mentioned to always call if he had any questions. So I gave it a try.

I was able to get someone on the phone after hours and on a Friday night. And even though they couldn't do the work (I live in NV, not CA) they talked me through diagnosing my water heater problem and then how to find someone locally who ended up doing the new installation at a reasonable price. These guys saved me over $1,000 off my lowest quote!

Nice people over the phone and have excellent technical communication via cell phone txting and email. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Allen was awesome and did a fantastic job on our extensive re-pipe and water system upgrade. We did a remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms on our 1950s house. We decided to do a complete re-pipe to replace our rusty metal pipes and our big water heater with pex pipe and a tankless. We wanted it done correctly by someone who does this as their main business and not just have the general contractor (GC) do it. Allen worked great with the GC doing the other remodel work. They worked together when called for and around each other when necessary.

He installed a Navien 240-A tankless water heater that's been great. We've had the clothes washer, dishwasher and shower going at the same time with no problem. He also put in a water softener system with an Industrial Purification Laboratories dual-tank 1.5 cubic foot setup. We weren't interested in a water softener when we started the process. Allen suggested it in our initial meeting. I've taken showers at hotels with soft water and sometimes you feel slimy after. He said the systems he puts in aren't like that. We did some research over the next couple of weeks and found good info that backed that up. I also saw that it would save money because we wouldn't have to be buying cleaners to scrub the hard water off of the shower glass and tile and can use less detergent in the washers. A water softener also extends the life of appliances. We like it a lot. My wife especially likes how her hair and skin feel so much softer.

We're really glad Allen suggested replacing the pipe that ran from the water meter to the house. The pipes were very old galvanized steel and ran near an area with a lot of tree roots. He discovered multiple small leaks when he dug it up. That was replaced with copper in a clearer run and now we have much better water pressure. He also added a nice water service array that has two hose bibs and separate valves to run sprinkler lines to the front and back yards.

We had our washer and dryer setup reconfigured in the garage. Allen swapped the washer position and installed a new utility sink and drain setup. Now our washer drains straight to the waste pipe instead of into the sink. Because the washer is in the garage on the opposite side of the house from the Navien tankless, Allen suggested we add a pump called a Chilipepper that brings hot water to the washer in the garage quickly. It's not something he sells, but knows it to be a good product. He's right. We push the button and the hot water is at the garage in about a minute. The washer is ready by the time the clothes are loaded in.

Because of the age of our house, there were a couple of issues the GC discovered with the drain hookups and pipe paths when the showers were torn out. Allen worked with them to solve the issues so that the new shower drains would connect solidly with the old drain system and new pipes and shower valves fit around the old vent stacks.

We're very satisfied with Allen and highly recommend the services of Wrench Re-Pipe. He worked his butt off every day he was there and was pleasant to talk to. He was on time every day and finished the different phases of work when he promised. He was always quick to respond to texts when the GC or I had a question. We had a lot done with the re-pipe, tankless, water softener, water service array, washer reconfiguration, Chilipepper pump and reverse-osmosis system. We're happy with it all!

Add me to the chorus of happy customers. Allen recently re-piped my 1939 home, and will soon enough be re-piping water to my 1990s era guest house. In addition, Allen installed a tankless water heater. Allen's work is uniformly excellent, his prices are fair, and his personality enjoyable. Consider Allen the Geordi La Forge of plumbers. And shout out to my neighbors who recommended him to me.

Allen's number is the only number you'll need for any plumbing or re-piping issues you have. Does a great job, won't up-sell you on stuff you don't need, HONEST, and easy to get along with.

We had a bent copper bib in the backyard on a home we recently purchased, and he was able to get right to it. He already knew exactly what to do, and was able to finish pretty quickly. He let me know what most likely happened, why it shouldn't have been structured the way it was, and fixed it, and found the long term solution so it wouldn't happen again.

Allen is the man when it comes to plumbing and repipe. Quality workmanship with honesty and integrity. Allen repiped our house more than 12 years ago, so when we had a pipe break under our yard (not a pipe he installed) he called back within 10 minutes and since he was working out of town he promised to be out first thing in the morning (a Sunday) and stopped our leak, gave us a reasonable quote to repipe the exterior, showed up the next morning and installed new copper pipes. Allen's professionalism and customer service are second to none. He goes above and beyond to take care of his clients and I wish I could give him more than 5 stars!

Pilot light on my water heater wouldn't light. Called this place and was told by Allen that whirlpool is a rare brand of water heater, and the parts would take a long time to come in. He offered to install a new water heater for $1200. Called another company, they came out the same day and fixed it for $185. Their guy had the parts right in his truck. Guess those parts aren't so rare after all.

Allen is truly a professional and master of his craft. He showed up at our house in a very timely manner, and got right to work. Our water heater had a rare and dangerous problem with the gas burner that Allen himself had never seen. Allen diagnosed the problem, contacted the manufacturer of our water heater, determined the replacement part needed, had the part FedEx'd over night, replaced the part the next day, and voila we were taking hot showers again. He also corrected a few other issues with the water heater, and demonstrated how to deep-clean our water heater. His costs were extremely reasonable, and we are very appreciative and satisfied with the work he did. Thanks Allen!

I called Allen for a tub and shower valve rebuild because the hot tap was over-rotating and the faucet was running at the same time as the shower head. He quickly analyzed the problem and ordered the parts. He knew that some of the parts were still covered by warranty and got new ones for free! Saved me lots of time and money. He was very quick and knew exactly what he was doing. My shower is working like new, I should have done this year's ago.

The other day my laundry water was flowing into the tub and out of the toilet. I sent Allen Wrench a text and he responded right away and arrived later that day. He used a drain camera to locate and show me the roots and standing water in the main line. He provided pictures and updates throughout the process so that I could be aware of possibilities and options. In addition to the broken sewer line repair, clean out installation has me set for future back up issues. Allen explained the options, the pros and cons with each decision with budgetary concerns in mind. He's quick to respond, knowledgeable, experienced, and smart and efficient in his work.

I hired Wrench Re-Pipe in 2004 and he not only did all the cooper piping, but did extra for me with no charge. After almost 7 years I had a problem under my bathroom sink and he called me back right a way and came out the next morning to take care of what I hadn't asked him to do the first time. He did my other bathroom sink for free at the time and now with a great price will fix the other one. He is on time does a great job and after 6 years still comes back right away to help you. When he was doing the job in 2004 he also was very nice to my mother who had alzheimers and loved to talk alot and like to talk to him while he was trying to work. so, I have nothing but the best to say about the company and ower Mr. Allen Wrench. The house we live in is in need of a bathroom renovation... As some of you know nothing ever goes as planned. When we tore out the bathroom walls; after seeing the shock of the water damage behind the walls We knew we would want a new look, and wanted to move pipes. We too ran our fingers through the yellow pages And were given some crazy quotes, Wrench Re-pipe came in and told us we didn't need most of the work quoted They saved us well over 1500 dollars! They were very prompt, courteous, and priced very reasonable. Pipes are all moved everything looks and works great!!

I am a skeptical Yelp user and don't post reviews. All glowing reviews for a business make me wonder how many friends and family have posted for them. Allen has really earned all his praise. We woke up on Labor Day to find a pool in our dining room. Called a plumber and was quoted $300 an hour to come assess the problem, holiday rates. Allen was my second call but should've been my only call. He was there within an hour, didn't charge holiday rates and fixed my problem quickly (a burst pipe between the kitchen and dining room). He could've told us that he needed to break up the slab and do thousands of dollars worth of work. Instead he re routed the pipe to the sink, saving us a lot of down time and a ton of money. Allen is a people person and we had a nice conversation while he worked on the pipes and I emptied my kitchen cupboards. We found out we had a mutual interest and he even shared part of his collection with me. I wanted to share that part of my experience to let you know he's not there to take advantage, do the minimum required and skip off with your check. He cares about what he's doing, he seems to genuinely want to help and he makes sure you are happy. I highly recommend his services and won't hesitate to call him again.

Wrench RePipe came out to replace our home water heater that was leaking and ready to flood my garage! Although they're in Riverside they were happy to take care of our hot water heater in Menifee. We were just a bit south of Perris, so it wasn't too much of a drive. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with information, and did a beautiful job! I wish we had know they were water heater and tankless specialists when I had my problem with the pilot light last year when our water heater wouldn't stay lit.

Our service tech also had great recommendations on soft water systems and will save us at least half on the upgrade to our whole house water filter system! I would definitely recommend Wrench Repipe to anyone looking for great work and a reliable and professional plumber. Text communication with an accurate eta when they were finishing up their previous job was greatly appreciated.

Allen has helped us out 3 times now. I posted about the first. The second time he was fixing a problem caused by another plumber. That other plumber had installed a water heater. He sent me to get the water heater, told me exactly where to go and what to get and I did. A year later the thermostat failed. That plumber would not help at all. He didn't purchase the water heater. Not his problem. The water heater company warranted the part, but not the labor to replace it. So they sent the part. Allen put it in for less than the original plumber wanted.
This time we needed a water line replaced outside. The cost was prohibitive, but Allen came and found the line for us and explained how this was something we could do ourselves. We gratefully paid for the finding of the line and did the rest ourselves.

After 3 water leaks (including a slab leak) and multiple plumbers leaving holes in our walls, we knew the next leak was going to be a re-pipe and a search for another plumber. A few months later, another leak occurred. Came across the great reviews for Wrench Re-pipe and decided to go with Allen. He is also located in Riverside, close to the Corona area, so no more waiting for a plumber to fight major traffic.

Allen came in and addressed all of our needs. Unreliable copper plumbing/installation was replaced; the water system was redesigned to properly reroute piping and correct low water flow throughout the house; and drywall patching with wall texturing was performed, which blended in incredibly well and left our house whole again. Allen also installed a water softener and water filter system that improved water quality, and will likely extend the life of appliances and fixtures in our home. We had a water softener before and have realized how much we missed it.

Allen was great to work with. He is extremely responsive; answered all of our questions; kept us informed along the way; met, and usually exceeded, all commitments; and performed quality work. His crew was professional, and they cleaned up and vacuumed after each day. This was the best experience that we have had with a home improvement project. He is highly recommended!

Exceptional knowledge, courtesy & integrity.
I had to shut off my water for 3 days due to a leak from near the top of my brick & driveway area while making numerous calls and having some plumbers coming out. They wouldn't touch it, or said I needed to get someone to cut open all across my concrete driveway first and it'll be a big job even after that.
On the 3rd day I called Allen & left a message. Within 5 minutes I got a text back from him explaining that he was tied up on another job but asked for an image of the leak problem. He text back agreeing I had a tough one but said he'd swing by on his way to pick up other supplies and showed up exactly as promised looking immaculate and explained everything in the most professional and pleasant manner. Long story short, he neatly dug up a minimal part of brickwork by somehow calculating the precise problem point which was a ways from the actual leak area....go figure! It wasn't easy in the blazing sun but he and his helper completed everything on the same day.
He even installed a water servarray which is fantastic on so many levels because my prehistoric thing didn't work at all.
It's a privilege now and then to find such great service. It is obvious Allen's work ethic and problem-solving ability is a rare find. He is trustworthy and I know I could call him even for advice about a future pipe dilemma.

Don't call Allen unless you want to pay a lot of money to hear him talk about how fabulous he is. I called and hired Allen to repair a water leak inside my house. He came right away. He left my garage and some of the house in a mess for the entire 2-3 weeks he was here. He pulled out my washer dryer unit and left deep gashes in the porcelain surface blaming it on the unit because he didn't take the time to figure it out before yanking it out. He said the leak was in some piping behind the unit. That pipe had been capped off for 20 years.

I didn't see the leak or what he took out but he said he fixed it. I would have to have the washer dryer reinstalled because he said he didn't understand how it was supposed to be done. I told him I wanted him to use Pex pipe to do the repiping and I didn't want the pipes to show. I came home to an awful mess of piping (NOT PEX) he used the type pipe used on mobile homes and cheap stuff) on the walls of my garage. I called him and he said he must have misunderstood. He said he would take care of at no charge. He also messed with my water heater for unexplained reasons and because everything he touched broke my water heater doesn't have a faucet to make it easy for me to drain.
Allen guaranteed the leak was fixed. My son and I checked the water meter and I still had a leak. Since my house was still a wreck with his stuff I told him there was still a leak.

He removed my reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen without permission, but offered to install a new one for $450. He broke my ice maker but put in new angle stops forfree. He said my leak was fixed, I paid $5,499. Asked for a detailed invoice which he still hasn't given me.

A couple weeks later I told him I could still hear water sounds in the same area and could smell something moldy. He came over to tie up loose ends and told me there were no leaks. He made excuses for all the loose ends and left. I had to pay to have my washer and dryer reinstalled. The movement on my water meter still showed a leak. I was unwilling to pay one cent more for free stuff that didn't solve my problem.

The water leak got so bad over the month the carpet was soaked and the baseboard was swelling. I pulled everything out on the other side of the wall and the wallboard was so wet I could just pull it out. I found the leak, in a cold water pipe in the wall.

It's been about 2 1/2 months since Allen was first here. I keep asking for my invoice and receipt but it's one excuse after another. He still brings up the free stuff he did for me. That free stuff cost me $ 5,499 and I have a big mess to clean up.

Allen came and flushed our tankless water heater yesterday. His communication is thorough and timely. I knew exactly when to expect him and he was early with any changes being communicated with plenty of lead time. He is a professional and very friendly - there was no mess left behind and he even checked the pressure valve while he waited. But, the best news - NO UPSELLING - no push to do more just did what was asked at the time he said he would and added us to his reminders list because I asked him to do so. Would totally recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Seriously, just stop looking and call Allen. I recently moved into a condo that had a Bosch tankless water heater already installed. Since the unit was 10 years old and had never been serviced, it was not putting out consistent hot water. I called Allen to come out to flush the system and complete a maintenance service on the unit.

Allen was prompt and quickly returned my call. He was able to come out an inspect my Bosch unit and was honest about the risks of flushing the system since the unit was poorly installed in the first place. The fear is that messing with it too much might just cause more problems. He was able to provide expert advice on my next step.

I decided to have Allen install a new tankless water heater after receiving a very reasonable estimate from him. Allen was able to provide tons of information and guided me to choose the right tankless for our household. He went above and beyond, and I definitely will be recommending his services to family and friends.

Purchased a home and 2 days later the plumbing gets backed up in all 3 bathrooms... Toilets clogged, water coming up from shower drains.. haha right.

I contact Wrench Re-pipe 1st! Highest rated plumber on Yelp, and there is a reason for that.. Reviews speak for themselves.

Allen comes down to check my situation out and tries to locate the Cleanout drain to snake the lines. My house didn't actually have any installed after they remodeled - forgot something?

Allen then tells me exactly what the problem is and exactly how I should fix it. Gives me a rough estimate over the phone and via text messaging - which is really nice cause I cant be talking on the phone at work but i need to talk to my plumber! Awesome accommodations!

My wife then wanted me to contact the Mortgage company seeing how it was so close to closing maybe they can do something, help us pay for the repairs needed...

Mortgage company actually went above their duty by contacting seller and trying to negotiate some assistance. Seller agreed to send a plumber NOT Wrench Repipe as I requested them to do... So the plumber they hired came to my house, guy was probably 5ft tall 100lbs and had his wife with him who must have been 5'9 and 300lbs - it was bizarre! Anyways he comes down and tried to snake the lines. He successfully was able to snake the bathrooms after about a couple hours of trying...

1 Day later the same thing is happening.. WTF, right? Contact mortgage company who contacts seller who agrees to send out another plumber, which ended up being the same one... He tried to snake the lines again but at this point i knew what the problem was and told him what Wrench Repipe said needed to be done. He was able to get 1 bathroom working but the other 2 remained the same.

Mortgage company then got a hold of the Warranty company and had them send a plumber out AW plumbing - then came and tried snaking the pipes through the SHOWER Drain... Unsuccessfully....

I then do what I should of done all along, Call Wrench Repipe back and have them do the work. Allen showed up when he said he would, did what he said he was going to do! Everything is running smoothly now... Installed 2 cleanout drains to make things easy just in case there is a problem in the future. My pipes were full of ROOTS, so he was able to clear a lot of that out.

My kids can take a bath, and we can flush toilets. Wooooo!

Thanks Again Allen! Hope I never have to call you again, but i'm glad I have you to call if i do.

My wife and I thought we had a drain leak under our slab floor. We called Allen and he came out the next morning and put a camera down our drains. He said all our pipes are clean with no leaks. He also put a camera in the front yard to the street and found roots growing in our pipe. I wasn't a problem yet put will be later. Allen was honest and professional and gave us a copy on the camera footage for free.
I called another place and they wanted $500 for the camera footage on top the the service!!! WTF!!We will be calling Allen back after the New Year to make repairs. Thanks Allen!!!

Allen was able to help me with my hot water heater repair. He changed out the drain valve so we could drain all of the sediment that had accumulated at the bottom of the h.w. heater. He responded very quickly and is very thorough with his explanations, making sure you understand his recommendations. Highly recommend.

I couldn't get a hold of my normal plumber and our sinks were backed up in the kitchen. Not only did Allen work me in (within 2 hours), he provided practical advice and didn't just snake it out, he spray blasted out the lines, charged us a more than fair price, and offered tips for keeping things in tip top condition without upselling me some product I would never use.

Now I have two good plumbers to call on Riverside.

Thanks Allen!

We paid $400 for Allen's thorough evaluation of the plumbing in our crawl space, under our house. After we moved into our new home, we noticed a odd, musty, damp smell in kitchen/attached laundry area. My husband and I suspected a leak. Allen is good, he is really busy, in high demand. He came out on a Thursday, but didn't have the tools for the job. So, he came back the following Monday. Allen was not able to access the broken pipe, due to the narrow crawl space. However, we appreciate that he confirmed there is a leak under the sink and he says he will help us inform our Home Warranty company that there is in fact a leak. He recommended a contractor he knows, since a new access point would have to be created in order to fix the cracked clean out line. So, he steered us in the right direction. Thank you Allen.

Excellent service! I love these smaller businesses because of the prompt communication (we literally just texted ) and quality of work. The man who came by to help today goes by the name of Allen and showed up an hour early We couldn't have been more pleased to get this out of the way. Pilot lighter in our water heater had gone out at least three times and the repair was quick enough for me start my day with a hot shower and get right to work. I would give these guys 10 stars if i could!! Thanks Wrench Re-pipe!

Recently had another good experience with Allen. I called about some water damage next to my shower. He came by, evaluated the situation and determined that it really didn't need fixing, given that we were considering a remodel within the next 5-10 years. He provided us with the confidence we needed in arriving at a decision.

If you are looking for the difference between a good plumber and a GREAT plumber, stop looking. You found the right person. I needed a new water heater. I looked to many big named plumbers. They were ridiculous in pricing. When Allen came out, he suggested a tankless. I have an older house. He didn't realize how bad my plumbing was until he went under the house. He was fast, reliable and reasonable. He texts when he is on the way. He put in the tankless. It works great. Within a week I had another problem with a pipe letting go in the wall. WOW! I texted him and he was at my house before I was. My shower now works right. Very reasonable price for the repair. He saved me thousands. The big named companies don't repair with a heart. Allen does. Stop looking and give him a call. The plumber with a HEART.

I reached out to Allen on a Sunday because my sink was leaking and he responded very quickly. I asked him a specific question about the leak, the problem, and the fix. He gave me a good price and time frame when he can come out. What I liked about Allen was that he was honest and no run around.

He came out to the house on time and completed the job in a very timely manner. I would use Allen again when I have any plumbing issues around the house.

We had a wonderful experience with Wrench Re-pipe. Allen came out when he said he would, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He was honest and patient with us since we were dealing with Insurance. We had a leak in the slab and he recommended rerouting the pipes into the attic which was a cheaper and much less invasive solution. He did not gouge us and was experienced when dealing with insurance claims. It's been quite a few months since he did the work for us and our hot water runs great!!!! We would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

My water heater went out overnight and needed to a quick way to get hot water again. Called Allen first thing on a Saturday morning, and he responded promptly and honestly, and had me back up and running with a new heater before 2pm same day! The best part is he even managed to get me into an upgraded water heater with more capacity 30 gallon increased to 50 gallons which is a game changer since I have 4 kids and they constantly drained the last tank of hot water. No longer! Thanks Allen!

Completely clueless that a Tankless Water Heater needs maintenance earned me a leakage. Found Allen here on Yelp where he sits on top. Showed up to replace my leaky unit considering he just got off from another major job can only tell you one thing, his great service is available regardless of time. Advised to have an Anti Scale Filter before the main water line hits the Tankless unit should eliminate my worries. With him you deal with a true customer service not a second rate salesman. End result is simply impressive this Gentleman knows his trade well. Thanks Allen

I Had a water heater that was on the brink of causing a major flood. I was fortunate enough to have Allen return my call in a prompt manner. He told me he would be available in the afternoon. He was there earlier than the arranged time & he made sure to communicate that with me.

Allen assessed the problem efficiently & gave me a fair price. He got to work & had the job done in a few hours.

I was impressed with his response time, knowledge & customer service, so much, that I scheduled him to comeback & do some additional work.

I highly recommend Allen to anybody who is looking for a plumber & I'm sure he'll be my guy until he retires or wins the lottery.

All the reviews you read about Allen are true, very honest, professional & punctual. He came in this morning txt me to let me know he was already on his way. He assessed the job, told me exactly what needed to be done and did not try to up sale me on anything. He started on the job right away and was done rather quickly in my opinion. He did an amazing job only used the really good materials for the pipe that was leaking for us. After he was done he explained everything that was wrong, so glad I found Allen. I highly recommend his services for anyone looking for an Honestly reliable person with no BS.

Allen / Wrench Re-Pipe saved my mother thousands of dollars and a possible lien on her house had she gone with her previous plumbing company. She had initially contacted Right Time 2rollU / Wreck U Rooter to replace a P-trap assembly under the laundry sink at a cost of $330. The following day, she noticed that the replaced assembly leaked. The Right Time 2rollU / Wreck U Rooter plumber returned along with his supervisor. The presented Recommendations Addendum called for a complete replacement of all piping with code approved pipe (note: it does not specify copper or PEX - likely the later) for $11,250(!). Keep in mind that this is a basic 1950's Riverside home - kitchen; laundry hook-up; single bathroom; on a raised foundation. Ten year financing was offered as an incentive. The following morning the high pressure sales... supervisor called informing her that they can begin work the following day, but that she must make the decision right away. She felt pressured; and instead called and told me of this. I could possibly accept the assessment of a repiping, but at a cost of over $11k was absurd. When she told me the name of the company, I was confident she was being taken advantage of. I was already aware of a family that had AC work done at a grossly inflated (300%) cost - NEVER let this company be your first and ONLY estimate.

OK, now on to the good stuff. For a fresh start at the P-trap leak, I called Wrench Re-Pipe. Allen was able to check on it the following day. He noted that the existing (just done) work under the laundry sink and the tie in with the washing machine drain line were not up to code(!). He determined what needed to be done and expressed it to my mother and also shared the scope of work with me, along with examples of how he was going to approach the job. He had to access the interior wall plumbing by cutting through the outside stucco. From there he configured the pipes so that the washing machine drain went in through the wall directly, rather than the P-trap. He also installed an outside clean-out for the laundry area drain. Additional work was done under the shower to help with drainage.

My mom said It's wonderful to have someone who knows what the hell he's doing. She was impressed by how informative, personable, and diligent Allen is.

Yes, it was a larger job than just a P-Trap replacement, but it wasn't an $11,250 ticket to her destitution.

Oh the joys of home ownership!

I've been pretty lucky so far but I had a Very Bad Morning - I pretty much couldn't get ANY water to drain in my house - I knew I had an emergency on my hands.

The plumber from the phone book (I know! I panicked and didn't come to Yelp first.) came out, charged me extra for a weekend visit, told me my main sewer line had collapsed and the entire sewer drain line needed to be replaced. The price was a shock and I obviously wanted to do more research before committing that kind of money to someone without a referral.

I asked a couple of friends and got a referral to Wrench Repipe from a friend in Norco. Allen did a great job installing a tankless water heater and a sewer clean out for her. She was impressed by his professionalism and integrity as well as his work.

Being from Riverside, I totally understand why he had to charge me an out of town / service area travel fee. Even with that, Allen still saved me almost 20 percent over the local LA plumber. And there were no price changes even with some extra work that was needed.

I also got an ETA text message every time he was on his way to me. My days are hectic, so that little courtesy meant a lot to me.

For the record, I didn't think the Los Angeles plumber was trying to overcharge me because I'm a woman - I think the LA rates are higher than Wrench Re-Pipe.

In an unfortunate event, my toilet had overflowed and caused severe damage to the unit below as well as litigation, disputes and reparation responsibilities. I had Allen come out to help me assess leak origins and assert his advice. Not only was Allen prompt with his arrival, his price was fair and his knowledge was professional and expert. Most importantly, I have to commend his customer service. Before meeting him, I explained my situation to him and he had me forward documents and invoices from previous plumbing inspections to his e-mail and he took the time to examine my dilemma at hand and gave me advice on steps to take next and how to deal with the problem. In addition, Allen followed up with me several days after we met inquiring about how my situation with the dispute was progressing. I would highly recommend Allen for his professionalism and dedication to customer service.

Came back home after working away for two weeks to a backed up kitchen sink and an overflowing washing machine. Went to yelp to see reviews on plumbers and read all the great reviews about Wrench Re pipe. Called him on a Sat. and he came asap to review the situation. Gave me several options to go if the pipes were seriously blocked. He came back Sunday morning and showed me step-by-step what the problems were and all the grease that blocked the all pipes 100 percent. Got the pipes cleared and now the kitchen and washing machine are flowing the best they ever have!! I have owned the house 18 years and never had a plumber and after seeing the amount of grease from the kitchen pipe, I truly do not believe the pipes had been cleaned in over 40 years. Great work and fair price. Thanks Allen.

Right, THIS is what I'm talking about, people - Quality service in a Timely fashion done by a Knowledgeable & honest person who's not out to fleece his customers, while entertaining them with his humor & interesting stories (The guy has traveled extensively!!). I could go on n on abt him but explaining my situation will reveal more about him & his work..

We've been losing hot water in the shower & my home warranty contractor charged me $45 just to tell me that its becuz our water pressure was 'low' & so, I need to either adjust the regulator ($350) or change it ($450), and to make it look like he did SOMEthing worthy of the $45, he said he would 'drain' the tankless water heater. Turns out, as I knew along, our pressure wasn't low; he had, in fact, reduced it, as Allen pointed out today (Grrrr!!!!) Also, he never drained the tankless water heater at all, cuz I don't recall him using any CLR/Vinegar, a bucket, pump & 2 hoses - all of which Allen used for 50 full mins! Allen knew EXACTLY what the problems were - he adjusted the pressure, drained the tankless water heater & adjusted its temperature, warding off calcium/lime build-ups for the next 1.5-2 yrs, and he didn't charge me a bomb!

And we had some funny & interesting chats along the way - Allen's quite a character & should have a show on TV like 'The Nate Berkus show' & 'Holmes on Homes' on HGTV (Any of u in the TV/entertainment biz?!?!)

I'm glad I decided to yelp a plumbing service to solve the mystery of my disappearing hot water & even more glad to find Allen - I'm keeping his magnet on my fridge forever!

Allen completely re-piped my dental office with copper plumbing. He was the most reasonably priced compared to the many plumbers I interviewed . I felt most comfortable with, to put him in charge of a big job like this one. This was 15 (fifteen years) ago. He told me then that he guaranty his work for life. Recently I had a problem with a water leak. He came over promptly to fix it at no charge. Even though his work withstood the test of time for more than 15 years, he still will continue to back up his verbal guarantee. I recommend him without reservation Nat

Allen repiped our house and had to reconfigure some drains. All his work is perfect. It literally looks like a piece of art and works perfectly. He takes his time to do the job right as if it were his own home. You will not regret hiring him. We have an older home that needed an overhaul and he was a good problem solver for us. We found a leak over the holiday weekend and Allen was able to come out almost immediately to assess the problem. Unfortunately for us it was worse than we thought. Whoever did repairs on the house before we moved in did such a horrible job (a gas pipe was used for the water line!) it went from a simple to complicated in minutes. He spent all of Saturday fixing each and every issue that came up. Will use again!

I noticed a leak was coming out of my cement outside in my court yard. Apparently, the previous owners hired someone that did a Mickey Mouse job on the irrigation. Anyways, Allen came over that day I called and explained to me the problem and gave me great advice about PVC and what and what not to do. To make a long story short, he didn't do work, but his advice probably saved me hundreds. I was able to fix the problem myself and found a good and honest plumber for the future. If you have any questions, give him a call and he is more than happy to work with you. His advice is free!

Allen is the best plumber I've ever had to deal with. This guy makes hard jobs look easy because he is a smart mofo. I live in the Hollywood Hills and he whipped out my old water heater and replaced it, having to remove a 60 year old sink to get at it, and I have about 100 steps to the street from my house. I also had had a slow drain in my tub for years, roto rooter was not able to help on two attempts. Allan removed a pipe to get at the drain properly and finally my drain is fast. Smart plumbing!! His pricing was way better than everyone else quoted and he's just a super nice guy.

Two years ago I had a plumber, not Allen, in to fix a drain problem. He snaked our main line and told us we were OK for now. He said that we had a collapsed sewer pipe and that he would have to dig up the pipes and replace it.

Two years forward and we ended up with the same problem. This time I knew that I needed a catastrophic plumber. Someone who would be able to handle the job. I looked though many reviews and looked to make sure that the plumber I would choose checked out.

Allen passed all the tests so I decided to call. I figured that some one this highly reviewed would take days to get here. I called expecting an answering service or maybe even a big company with lots of people working the desk, but I got Allen directly. He said he could come by that afternoon.

He did. After his snake broke over many attempts to dislodge the problem he scoped the pipe and located the blockage. It was under the curb, between the street and sidewalk. I couldn't imagine the cost of tearing up the street and sidewalk. Allen proposed another solution. One that would mean not digging up the street and tearing out trees.

Allen's challenge was that sometime before we purchased our house, a pipe was dropped into the clean-out and was washed down toward the street. This was the reason the pipe was especially difficult to clean out. Allen's technology and persistence paid off for us. After many attempts, he was able to push through the pipe and entangled roots. He installed the pipe sleeve from the house to the sewer without digging out the street or tearing down our tree.

Allen kept me informed about his progress. He and his team worked straight through to get job done in one day, even when that day was one of the hottest this summer. I am grateful for his efforts and very pleased with his work. If you need to have major repairs to your plumbing, Allen is the man for you.

Just bought a house with major plumbing issues. We called Allen after searching on yelp. He provided exception service, he fixed our main sewer line which had never been serviced. I don't recall how I found him, but I am very gad we did. I've called him out to the house at least 6 times. We purchased a Repo Home and then did several improvements over the last 2 years. I think this covers most of the work he has done for us:

Replace Main water valve to the house
Repair Water Heater install
Move Gas line in the kitchen
Replace valve set in the laundry
Replace about 18 Angle Stops
Install hardware on 5 sinks (including all P-traps and Drains)
Plum BBQ Island (Grill, Side Burner and Sink)
Install gas valves and connections for 6 TIki Torches and a 48 Fire Pit

Just don't get him started on music or Star Trek :)

An electrician first introduced me to Wrench Re-Pipe in 2002 and since then I have had Wrench Re-Pipe do major work on three houses and a commercial building. I would never call another plumber. He is simply, THE BEST, bar none.

First off, Allen is an HONEST person. Completely trustworthy. He won't try to sell you work you don't need like the idiot plumbing company wankers whose ads you hear on the radio. Oh sure, they'll clean out a drain for a hundred bucks and then try to convince you that you need $10,000 more work. Allen is honest and tells it like it really is. Take his advice, always.

Second, Allen is a really knowledgeable plumber. He has been doing this for a long time and he has seen just about everything. He knows all the best techniques and uses only proven materials in his work. You never have to re-do anything he does. His work is totally reliable. He does it right the first time.

Third, he stands by all that he does and won't leave you hanging. A total pro.

Fourth, his prices are very fair and better than the big chain plumbers by a huge amount. Why? He doesn't have to pay for radio spots. He works by word-of-mouth only and stays super busy. Allen is always efficient with his time and work. Smart business model if you ask me.

I have another job to do soon relocating a laundry room and I couldn't contemplate ever using another plumber. I am so glad I found Wrench Re-Pipe. Allen is a plumber you can trust.

I first contacted him because of his reviews on Yelp. We had a water main pipe leak at our meter. Wrench Re pipe was the first company I contacted for a quote on a repair. Allen was doing another job but texted me to let me know that he would call me back in an hour. I contacted a couple of other companies while I was waiting and ended up scheduling with one of the others. I sent a message to Allen to thank him for his quick response, but we had scheduled with another vendor. You would have thought that would have been the end of it; however, Allen called me just to find out what the issue was and to give me some words of wisdom and some valuable information as to what to look for and possibly what to ask for: Never trying to dissuade or make me question my decision.
I wanted to say that I feel Allen's professionalism, honesty and customer service is STELLAR .I will definitely call Allen Wrench Repipe the next time I need a plumber.

Their response time is great! After discovering a leak, I called Allen from Wrench Re-Pipe on a Friday night at 8:00 pm and he responded right away and came out first thing the next morning on a Saturday. I posted quote requests from several of Yelp's 5-star water heater repair/installers with most feedback & got reply from Wrench within 10 minutes. We eventually picked local Riverside resident and business owner Allen of Wrench Re-pipe who gave us mid-range quote (not the cheapest, not the highest). He went out of his way to make sure I get the product that I want & the service I deserve. Quote was pretty accurate vs. actual total service cost. He installed an efficient upgraded CA compliant Bradford White 50gal tank to replace my 16 years same brand old tank & got it current into code. I also got my 16 years old bad water pressure regulator replaced. Highly recommended specially to other Riverside customers.

I called Allen to do some work for my parents. They had an active leak under the slab. He came out on a Saturday to do the estimate and emailed it to me that evening. He started the job on Monday and estimated being finished by Friday. He delivered just what he said and didn't overcharge. My folks added a couple of extra items, new bathroom sinks and a toilet, to the initial total re-pipe work and Allen accommodated them no problem. He is friendly and does great work. Really top notch. He even helped my folks in dealing with their homeowners insurance. He may need to lay off the caffeine a bit but other than that I would definitely recommend him.

Our water heater wasn't working properly and when I called him early after noon, I wasn't expecting to see Allen until the next day. I was surprised by him coming by on the same day and doing the work to get the hot water up and running again.

Wrench Re-Pipe is Allen. In their employment is just one plumber, and there's something about having the owner of a small business working on my plumbing needs gives me assurance of an honest day's work. Is his rates the lowest? No, but I think it's pretty fair and as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for.

Allen(owner) is prompt and called back immediately. He is a professional. He came to look at the plumbing in my bathroom and fix a faucet that continually leaked. He diagnosed what was wrong and corrected it. He is very efficient and does quality work. I would definitely recommend his company and service with no problem. He is a really great guy and honest. Hard to find in this day and age.Call Allen first!

Thank you Wrench for installing our Water Heater when it started leaking and flooding and fixing up the vent as well. They also fixed up the pipe behind the water heater that was also a drip problem.

I also got all the information needed on tankless water heaters, but a normal water heater is what they recommended.

In the future we will be going with one of their soft water systems.

Highly recommended and great same day service with text messages letting us now of their travel and arrival times.

Clean, sociable, will not take advantage of you,and fair in his charges.

I have used Wrench Re-Pipe three times now, and he has done a fantastic job each time. Each time coming out quickly and resolving the problem within a timely manner.

The first time I used him, I had a ceiling leak in the kitchen, which required replacement of a pipe in the ceiling between the kitchen and upstairs bathroom.

The second time I used him, I had a flood in my upstairs bathroom, which resulted from a burst pipe behind the sink.

This month, I found a leak in the wall near the garage and kitchen floor that I feared was caused by my tankless water heater / soft water, or, worse yet, as slab leak. Allen determined it was a drain pipe leak located right at the cement of my slab behind my tankless water heater. He had it fixed within a day.

I am very impressed with the excellent service Allen Wrench provided this morning. I came home last night to a flooded side yard because my water heater gave out. (It was very old) Early this morning I went on Yelp to find a Plumber and came across Wrench Re Pipe. I was already impressed with all the great reviews and 5 stars so I called left a message and with in 5 minutes I got a call from Allen. I explained my situation and with in an hour he was at my house ready to go. Allen had to replace my water heater with a new one. He was very professional, very informative, expressed his concerns and gave me recommendations to avoid any future problems ( you know things us woman should know about but don't know). In the past I've felt taken advantage of and even ripped off with other services but today i feel like i got my moneys worth to the last Penny! By far the best service! If you're in need of a Plumber Allen is defenetly the person to call.

Allen is totally awesome. He totally re-piped our whole house (our pipe in the slab broke open) and save us from thousands in possible damages.

He is a total professional and every piece of work he did for us is clearly done by someone who cares about his craft, and cares about the customer having the best job done.

I'd recommend him for any plumbing problem in a second.

Allen came out on VERY short notice today (Basically called and within 30 minutes he was here, on time!)

Had to replace a tub spout that was poorly installed. Allen provided me the options which were available to perform this job, and pros-cons of each.

In the end - problem solved and shower is back in operation!

Prices were very reasonable and I would definitely keep this number handy if any other plumbing issues arise. Solid work and also a cool guy!

So I needed a new water pressure regulator and started going down Yelp reviews to find a plumbing company to do the job. Out of the 4, only two bothered to call back or return a message. Really? Just two? So I got a quote from the first company and it seemed high to me. When Allen messaged back, which was very quickly, he asked for a photo of the regulator, and gave me a very competitive quote for the job. We had a few back and forths, and scheduled the job for the following day. Very happy with everything. Friendly, communicative about arrival, and left a card with his number in case I ever had questions when doing a DIY plumbing job around the house. How's that for a throwback way to do business? Call Allen, he deserves the business and you'll be a happy camper. I am.

I had a quote from another retail plumber for twice as much and they would not tell me precisely what I was paying for. Allen told me what I was going to get and then did it with higher quality parts, more shut off valves, and more unions (allowing me to fix and maintain the system better myself). Its been over a month now with NO PROBLEMS. Friendly, great communicator, clean, and craftsmanship! Note, this was all for a leak at my water service entrance to my house. Wrench Re-Pipe will be my first call when I need a plumber from now on.

He came out to assess our issue, and when we realize the issue was more than what he thought, he stepped away from the situation and did not charge me for everything he did up to that point because my landlord would not commit to going further. He went above and beyond and explaining what needed to happen which left me confident in his assessment. I would definitely hire this guy in a second if I knew something was going on with my gas or any plumbing issues.

This is the most professional and highest skilled plumbing company in California, period. After dealing with my normal plumber on a major issue I got a feeling my broken sewer drain was beyond his abilities. The price was extremely high and he wasn't describing the fix easily and he seemed confused on the location. $14,000 and the explanation of because of tree roots wasn't enough to justify the job. I decided to do my research and make the best decision on as much information as possible. At this time is when I found Wrench Repipe. The owner personally showed up for the estimate and was doing the work throughout the entire job. One of the days he was running late and I got a phone call an hour before hand notifying me of his schedule and double checking that this was ok for my schedule! Communication on the phone and through email is a huge plus with this company and very refreshing in this day and age. After investigation and diagnosis, we both determined that drain pipe relining was the best way to go. The job was not cheap, but it was money very well spent. I can't recommend Wrench Repipe highly enough. For major jobs, there is no one better. The only downside to this company is they are sometimes not available for small jobs due to being overbooked. I consider that a good sign.

My water heater decided, after about 10+ years, that it was time to give up the ghost. Hot water is one of those things that you really miss once it's gone, so I knew I had to get on the problem quick. I considered calling one of the big name guys, but I thought there must be a way to find a contractor who knows his stuff and doesn't gouge the person in need.

Lo and behold, Yelp to my rescue. I searched for a local guy with great reviews, and Allen of Wrench Re-pipe came up. I decided to give him a call and see what's what with his price and availability.

From the get-go, Allen was right on top of things. He worked me into his schedule quickly, and I've honestly never been kept as 'in the loop' with a contractor's whereabouts and time schedule as I was with Allen and his business, done with email and texts, depending. If only the cable companies were as forthcoming and on the ball...

Allen certainly knows his stuff, and I felt he was being straight with me about my options. I had previously done some searching regarding prices for installed water heaters, and Allen's price was fair and reasonable. I didn't feel like I was gouged or taken advantage of in my time of hot-water need.

I stuck around the house to make sure that Allen had whatever he needed, and he's very approachable and knowledgeable about more than only his job. A very smart guy, no foolin'. Wrench Re-pipe is going to be my first call if I ever get into hot water (or lack thereof) with my plumbing again. Highly recommended.

Allen was great! We had a leaking mess of a garbage disposal and he got right back to us when we called. He was able to get us in the same day and replace our garbage disposal and give us helpful advice on how to contact the manufacturer for the warranty on our also leaking faucet. He was missing a part to do our much needed pipe upgrade and he came back on a Sunday to make it right and finish everything up. He did a fantastic job and everything is fixed and working well. We also really appreciated how timely he was and he always kept us updated with his arrival time-very helpful and considerate. The price was fair and upfront-no surprises! We will definitely use Allen's services for any of our plumbing needs in the future!

Allen has done two jobs for me. A BIG one, and a relatively small one. Both were done with insane precision and reliability!

The BIG job was a crisis water heater replacement, and despite my house being old with a teensy water heater closet, Allen managed to find me a high-capacity heater that fit in my space! He actually did some modifications to my heater-closet door frame in order to make it all fit nicely, and we have had not a single problem with it since.

The smaller job was a seemingly simple faucet hose replacement, however, when my husband went under the sink to replace the leaky hose, he discovered our shut-offs were frozen. We knew right away this was a job requiring some sophistication, because our house is old and our plumbing is (mostly) quite old, and a novice could easily break pipes or do some other horrid damage trying to fix this problem. So we called Allen, and as before, the experience was fantastic!

Allen is THE plumbing professional you want. He is timely, careful, thorough, HONEST, and very, very experienced. He will never tell you you require work you don't need. He will call when he says, show up when he says, and he's smart & super-capable. Completely impressive.

It's not that I WANT more things to wrong in my home's plumbing, but when they do, I am confident I know who to call.

Allen just came over to fix leaky toilet valve and hose. He did inspection and recommended switching out another and some minor upgrades, a new flapper. He graciously checked water pressure, suggesting a new shut off valve and regulator that will go on to-do list. He takes the time to explain as he goes which is informative and educational. Highly pleased with his work as always.

we found Wrench Re-Pipe years ago after a handyman installed our Noritz tankless flash water heater after our normal water heater with a tank started leaking. The handyman claimed to know what he was doing but after 2 years we had major problems with the tankless.

With a yelp search we found Wrench Repipe and chose him because of his great reviews. He was able to diagnose our problem and also help with the Noritz warranty paperwork.

Fast forward to today. Our Noritz completely gave out and the entire tankless was beyond repair because of severe internal leaking. After 8 years we got a call back in less than 15 minutes and the technician was at our house the next morning even a bit earlier than the appointment.

After being presented with various options, we decided to go with the best and had a Navien tankless water heater installed.

Wrench Re-Pipe is extremely professional and knowledgeable and the work looks fantastic. Not to mention we even received a text message letting us know when they would arrive. This is the best company out there.

The first time I used Allen was about a year ago to install a few bathroom faucets including new angle stops, and a water supply shutoff valve for the water heater. This time, I had Allen replace my old water heater. I asked about tankless models, but he told me it probably wasn't worth the extra cost given my situation and needs. I appreciate that he was honest about this instead of pushing for tankless where he probably would have made more money. Since the new water heaters from the big home improvement stores were taller than my old one and wouldn't fit, he researched and found one that would. Allen pulled the permit and his work passed inspection without any problems. The inspector said he did a great job. On a separate note, I like that Allen maintains constant communication via text messages. Thanks again Allen!

Wrench is a great plumber! Really fast and responsive and at a FRACTION of the cost of the phone book, big truck plumbers. Highly Recommended.

I had an emergency need (as this is usually the problem), and after calling around and being SHOCKED by the high prices of other plumbers - I called them. He helped me over the phone, and walked me through a few steps to solve my immediate emergency and then they came right out to fix my problem. I knew I was being treated fairly and got real, honest service from a real, honest, plumbing pro.

I was originally referred by a family member who's had their whole house re-pipped and I know they are very happy with the service they receive as well.

I tell everyone who needs a plumber - to call on Wrench. And they're all nice guys too. Need plumbing help -- CALL THESE GUYS!

A big leak under my home was discovered on Valentine's Day. I had previously made the mistake of hiring a super overpriced plumbing company, and my heart sank at the thought of searching for yet another plumber for this new leak issue. A friend of mine had used Allen's company, so I decided to give him a call. Allen wasn't able to work on my home, because the property is located way out of his service area. However, he did offer a ton of support via phone to make sure I wouldn't get ripped off again!

He looked at video clips I sent him of the leak and gave advice on what he thought the problem might be and how to proceed. I sent him previous plumbing quotes, and he gave his honest input on whether or not the pricing was within industry norms. Allen also gave advice on yellow flags to be aware of during plumbing estimates. He even offered for me to call him back with the new quotes I would be receiving to make sure I wouldn't be overcharged again.

Allen truly went above and beyond for someone that wasn't even his client. If that's the case, I can only imagine the exceptional level of service he offers to his actual customers.

Thanks Allen for all the time you spent helping a stranger over the phone. I found a wonderful local plumber, got my issues resolved, and saved money thanks to your feedback!

My neighbor had a leak and asked for a recommendation for a plumber. No one I knew could recommend an honest plumber, so I looked on Yelp, and based on the excellent reviews, called Wrench Re-Pipe. Allen called right back, listened to the problem, and said he would be out within in the hour. Mind you, this was a Saturday, so not every plumber is willing to help on the weekend. Not only was Allen on time, he kept me updated via text as to his approximate arrival times. He found the leak, repaired the pipe, and even called in an electrician to help in the event that a need arose. My neighbor was thrilled to have his problem remedied promptly and to have paid what he felt was a reasonable fee for the services rendered. When I asked him last night if he would use Wrench Re-Pipe again, he said Definitely!. :)

I am very happy that I found Wrench Re-Pipe on Yelp. Allen was very professional, explained everything in detail so I understood what the problem was and explained the different ways to fix it. He pointed out things that I didn't notice, but told me what things could wait and what things I would want to address sooner. He was promptly at my house exactly when he said he would be there. If ever he thought he would be late, he immediately notified me.

In addition to all of the above, Allen also saved a hose of mine that was very expensive. No one could remove the nozzle without damaging the hose until he tried. It's the little things like that which make you realize that someone really does care about their customers and great customer service. Allen will be our plumber for our new home indefinitely. Couldn't be happier.

Pilot light on my water heater went out and I couldn't seem to get it to light. Made a few calls to get rates and availability for a service call. Not only was Allen the most affordable, but he was available after regular business hours if needed! My work schedule was going to make it tough for me to make a 5pm service call. All other places I called either did not offer after-hours calls, or did so at much higher rates than what Allen charges.
Allen kept in communication with me throughout the day answered all my texts and questions before I even booked an appointment...very friendly and patient!! When he arrived he was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained what he felt the problem was and gave me an no-nonsense estimate of what it would be to fix the problem. When he told me I have no doubt you will have hot water by the time I leave here, I knew I was in good hands! No upsell or BS...just fast, friendly, and honest service at a very reasonable price.
When the time comes to replace my water heater (or if I have any plumbing jobs for that matter), I know EXACTLY who I'm calling...highly recommended!

We hired Allen to re-pipe our home right before we moved into it. After interviewing several companies, it was clear that Allen was the expert in this field and the right choice! He worked hard for us throughout a holiday week to make sure that everything was done before our move-in day. New pex, plus we opted to add a water softener, tankless water heater and reverse osmosis system. Quite the Cadillac of a water system with ridiculously clean install, around the same price the other guys wanted for just new pipes. Allen sent us photo updates throughout his work, and made sure everything was clean, easy to use, and absolutely functional. He has been a great resource after the work as well, answering questions and available to fix any new problems that arise. Trustworthy, professional, and beautiful work.

Christmas Day 2020 and no hot water! We placed a call to Allen who to our surprise texted us within minutes of receiving the call. Allen was kind enough to fit us into his schedule early Saturday morning (Dec 26). He correctly assumed that we would rather have hot water sooner rather than later! He was prompt and reasonably priced. Allen followed COVID safety protocols during the installation - we appreciated that he was concerned about everyone's health and safety. Allen answered all of our questions about the changes required due to the builder taking shortcuts when they installed the water heater safety relief valve. Allen has an excellent demeanor and you feel like old friends within minutes of meeting him. He is very knowledgeable and we are happy to have struck gold the first time out. I needed a plumber to work a hot water leak but I didn't have any references to go by. I tried yelp hoping that with the review I could help figure out who to call. I saw that Wrench RePipe had a lot of really good reviews and I gave him a call. Allen was exactly as the reviews tell you, made time in the schedule for the job, stayed until he was done, super efficient, got the job done quickly, left the place clean and give good advice to make decisions on the most efficient fixes. After that I called for a T&P valve for my water heater and he came within an hr or so. I just want to pass it on I highly recommend him just follow the advice of so many of us that have used his services.

We've been having some plumbing nuisances with the water heater, shower controls, and vibrating pipes. My main complaint was the loud, low, vibrating sound our water heater makes. So I called up a few plumbers. Allen was on a job when I first called, but he was able to give me some clear and sound advice over the phone. Another plumber I called showed up, didn't know what was wrong with the water heater, and suggested it was the pressure reducing valve. Based on my previous phone call to Allen, I decided to call him again for his opinion, and he was able to come out and take a look for us. Allen was able to tell us why the water heater was making the noise in a simple and knowledgeable way, and assured us it was normal. He replaced the pressure reducing valve, and advised us what to do with the shower controls to save some major money. I have to say he is the first plumber I've encountered that didn't suggest some unnecessary costly repair.

Allen, thanks again for your advice and coming out of your service area to see us!

TLDR: Allen is awesome, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. You can't go wrong with him.

I called Allen to have my poorly designed, leaky drainage pipes underneath my kitchen sink fixed. It has been leaking on and off for the past year from 3 different places, despite my hours spent trying to patch it up with various parts.

Within 30 minutes he had the old crap pulled out and was installing a new setup that's completely sealed and removed any areas that would cause a leak to occur. He explained everything to me and even showed me how to take it out and put back together in case I ever have a clog.

He treated my kitchen like it was his own, took his time, used quality materials. Wasn't the least expensive plumber I found, but in my opinion, if you want something to work right and last the next 30 years, you should probably expect to pay a little more for it.

Allen came to our home to address a problem with our Rinnai tank less water heater. It was sluggish to turn on and heat the water. He arrived exactly when he said he would and was incredibly knowledgable and professional. He was quickly able to discover the problem. He adjusted our faucets and descaled and serviced the water heater. Now it heats the water immediately. Water pressure is so much better. My flash water heater was occasionally turning on then quickly off before failing to come on at all. I called a different local plumber, and his solution was to replace the entire unit (it is only 3 years old). I called Wrench RePipe for a second opinion. He came exactly when promised, and instantly knew that these units act in an unpredictable way when they have internal build-up. One hour later my water heater was back to working as normal (actually better than normal since water was now flowing unrestricted by the build up).

Great service from a very nice and professional plumber. I recommend him 100%.

Our washer drain was clogged and we tried to snake it ourselves with no luck. I emailed Allen at night the day before he stopped by and inquired on the cost and solution. His email replies to me were very prompt. The next day, Allen stopped by to take a look at it and explained in detail the issue so that we could understand it. He seemed very competent, experienced, and friendly. He also beat a quote from another plumber we had. For the amount of time he spent to resolve our clog (which turned out to be a major pain in the butt!) we feel that we got a great deal!

Thanks Allen! We'll probably see you again in the future...though hopefully not too near in the future... ;)

I totally appreciate his honesty, instead of being like some others I've encountered who would make up some fake solution just so they would have something to charge me for. He even gave me some great tips on what to look for in new parts.

Since he was already there, I asked him to take a look at my shower that had pressure problems. In just a few minutes, he fixed it (which wasn't even part of the original plan). And I thought low water pressure was just something I'd have to live with forever...sigh... what a relief! So since there wasn't really much he could do about my original plumbing problem, he didn't charge me anything for the visit! I felt bad that he came out and didn't end up making any money, so I tipped him 10 bucks.

I'd definitely recommend him to anyone!
(Oh btw, he looks just like he does in the photo)

I appreciate the response. And wish nothing but the best for this guy. Maybe he was having a bad day. Out of so many reviews I guess you're bound to not have a 5 star. There was not a blockage at all. More than one plumber confirmed that. I'm not writing a review to be rude by any means, just being honest.
Here's the long story:
When Allen originally visited our home he was here for 2 days we chit chatted a bit back and forth and he told me I do not normally do this type of work. I normally do large jobs but I take small jobs like this to help keep homeowners from getting ripped off. He was clean, did his job and everything was in great working order. I had him quote some additional issues that were not immediate problems. He stated that the builder had used cheap faucets and recommended solid faucets to buy and gave me a quote as he stood in front of me. I said Awesome, I'd love to order those and have you come back. We ordered the faucets and when we called Allen, the quote doubled - I thought wow maybe he didn't remember. Okay so we moved on.
Our guest bathroom toilet began to leak. Allen did work on it and had actually installed the toilet. I was home alone and we had a party coming up...I absolutely insisted we have Allen because I felt comfortable with him and his craft. I wanted it done right so with a house full of guests there would be no surprises. It took a quite few calls to get a call back. He diagnosed the issue over the phone; he said it was probably a backed up line caused by feminine products. I thought that was strange since it was a leak(didn't seem to be backed up)and...I am the only female in the home and had a newborn baby... But I'm not plumber.
He is accurate in that he texted his ETA. He was at our home for a total of 10 minutes. He immediately started telling me he didn't warranty his work after 2 years. I told Allen, We don't expect that, you did work here and I felt comfortable calling you. I don't think he believed me. After his investigation of the leaky toilet he said it was blockage in the main line too far for him to reach. He would have to remove the toilet and he charges $300 for that. He was not the same Allen previously at our home and something felt off so I asked him to hold on and called my husband. Not being comfortable with how he was acting and a quote of $300 for a leaky toilet I told him what we needed to to decline his services and not be rude. I didn't quite understand the attitude he had prior to declining he do the work, but maybe he thought we were trying to get him to warranty 2 year old work? Seriously Allen took a 5 star customer review down to 2 for how rude he was. I was unaware he treated this as a warranty call until the moment I read it online. I made it clear that he was called because I felt comfortable with him doing work on our home while being home alone. He was agitated and even told me You made me burn gas coming out here. From his previous visit he told me where he lived and it wasn't far, I would have been more than happy to reimburse him.
On a side note(not that anyone will be able to validate)...I have 3 bathrooms in my home and a party coming up with a leaky toilet(downstairs guest bath). With a plumber on the way the only toys in my off limits bathroom were a plunger in the tub and a small trash can that Allen moved. This is also the first I heard of the toy blockage idea.

The issue was never a blockage. I had 2 separate plumbers check because I still had faith in Allen. Wax Ring needed replacing. It happens; it's a common occurrence.

After years of working in family owned business I understand Allen works hard and has educated himself on a solid trade. His downfall one day could be his attitude. I hope that he can use this as constructive criticism. He doesn't need to buy Yelp reviews, but he also doesn't need to state untrue things in an attempt to discredit my review. I originally made a point to put up my 5 star review because he talked up Yelp at my house and I felt I would be doing a disservice by not posting my follow up.

Unfortunately I am out of their service area, but I'm super impressed at the quick referral to a contractor more in my area.

Allen replaced a leaky Water Heater for me, and the whole experience was nothing but stupendous. He texted me back instantly so I didn't even shop around. He kept me posted the whole time via texts - when he's on his way, on the job, and after the installation with pictures. His quote is precise and more than fair, he gives you good-to-know information, and he was very professional by providing me a detailed invoice on same day. I believe him when he said he stands by his quality work; he's the sole owner/employee of his own company so that's a great plus. His *free* Preferred Customer program is just icing on the cake..

We contacted Allen to see about a whole house re-pipe and home water filtration system. After consulting with Allen, we decided to do a partial re-pipe and whole house filtration system, with a water softener and RO. He was fast, knowledgable and professional. We feel we got a superior system at a reasonable price. We appreciated the fact that Allen did 100% of the work himself and didn't sub-contract to lesser skilled folks.

It was a small job but be he showed up on time, texted me when he was on his way, did a good job, gave me great advice on my DIY projects around the house, and had a deep discussion about Star Trek. How many of you can say that about other plumbers or contractors you hired for a job?
