We were assigned Thomas Plumbing when we called in a claim to our Home Warranty. I submitted the claim on a Friday night after we had an issue with our master bathroom toilet. I expected to hear from them Monday or Tuesday for an appointment later in the week since that's how it usually works. To my delight, they called on Monday and asked if we would be available in the next 30 mins. I was conveniently headed home for lunch so I took the appointment.
Our tech (I forgot his name) arrived promptly and was very professional. We explained the issue and he immediately go to work. We explained that we had just recently purchased our home, so we couldn't even imagine what might be going on.
After about 5 mins and no luck with the snake, he proceeded to pull the toilet to check the blockage. And there it was... a damn toy blocking the line. Having a toddler in the house, I immediately knew who the culprit was! The tech laughed and said Well, here's your problem! (Insert embarrassing facial expression from me)
He set the toilet and was done in a flash. He assured me this stuff happens often so my embarrassment was eased a tad.
I hope the next time I have to call in a claim, these guys are assigned to me! It was nice to have someone with a sense of humor and understanding nature. Thanks to Thomas Plumbing we are back up and running again!
