I've been evaluating vendors to do a hydro jet on the line from home to main line. Called SoCal Plumbing and I was given a quote over the phone by Joseph. Paul came by to review in person and stayed with the quote. The team of Paul, Eric, and Ezekiel executed the job well and patiently showed me the camera pictures and explained to me the work done. Even though there was additional effort, Paul stayed with the original quote. It is great to have this team work on this project and will not hesitate to call them back for any plumbing/sewage work. I was introduced to this company by a lovely girl at Serviz called Jasmine. She was so quick, efficient, and extra helpful, and I am very grateful to her. I had discovered early in the morning that our water heater was dripping LOTS of water, and needed some-one to come and assess it ASAP. Within two hours of calling SoCal Plumbing Derek arrived and confirmed that our 15 year old heater needed replacing. He removed the old heater and cleaned up the area until Mario arrived with the new heater, and they very promptly installed it. Turns out the new heaters are much safer and easier to manage than our old one, great news. I also got a quick lesson on how and when to drain the heater to keep it working as efficiently as possible. The work was done in two hours, and the area in our garage was cleaned up and put to rights, which I was delighted with. These guys did such a good job, and were a pleasure to have in the house, very knowledgeable about the job, and so efficient. I will happily use them again for any other plumbing jobs that might come up for us. The price was very reasonable/competitive as well. I cannot fault their service and highly recommend them

We found out the faucet was leaking in the morning and send the estimate out. Joseph responded right away. His crew came around noon, found out it's just loose screw on the extended faucet head. He fixed it within 5 mins and not even charge us for anything. He could of charge me $49 but he waived it for such small job. I highly recommend their business. They are like a good neighbor or a family you have.

I called this morning to request service for my water heater. The dispatcher was able to schedule a technician for the same day. The dispatcher kept me informed of the technician's schedule. The technician (Paul) arrived and diagnosed unit. He determined the issue was related to lack of maintenance (which was true). He performed the recommended maintenance. After confirming that the maintenance resolved the reported issue he checked out with me and answered my questions. The price was fair. I would recommend this company.

I called the top three five star water heater replacement companies and chose so Cal. They called me back within 10 minutes gave me a quote for exactly what I asked for and didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't eat. Shandy came out the following morning on time and installed the new water heater in about an hour. I had been putting off some work that I needed to have done so I finally decided yesterday that it was time! I searched for a plumber on Yelp and found that SoCal Plumbing had lots of great reviews. I contacted the owner requesting a quote and had a response in less than 10 minutes. Shandy came by early in the 2 hour time frame, gave me a quote and I decided to do it right then and there! He didn't even get irritated when I changed my mind from next week. He completed the work in a timely manner, cleaned up the area thoroughly and the price was competitive. This review is late but I cannot express how appreciative I am of this company! At the beginning of August, there was a very unexpected and unpleasant emergency in our upstairs bathroom and it caused a lot of extra stress on an already busy and tough Monday morning. I called SoCal Plumbling & Rooter because my husband had hired them a year ago to fix our kitchen sink pipes/replace faucet and were very satisfied with the timely job and customer service. I was surprised and thankful that they sent help within an hour to our house! Paul and Ezekiel were two of the nicest, warmest individuals and very professional throughout the process of unclogging our toilet/sink/tub (caused by toilet paper stuck 12 feet under ). They were upfront about pricing (which was reasonable for the job) and also honored a coupon that I had found on the company website. We were both very impressed and grateful for their timely response, concern, and ability to resolve the situation - it made our day! My plumber of 10 years relocated to Texas so I took time to read the reviews and decided to try them out. The communication from the very beginning was excellent and they came out in a better than expected timely fashion.
Jose and Oscar were the two technicians that serviced our plumbing need. Both of these gentlemen were extremely kind, considerate and very communicative. They efficiently repaired the faulty value to our washer and then went above and beyond by putting mounting screws in the area that were missing. I had Rooter service 3 times in a year and it's very uncommon. The kitchen clogged never been solved. I learned from Utube that hydro-jets is the only solution but very costly. I have no choice to search Yelp for best service and deal. Joseph was very patient to explain the process and offered me a great deal. Paul & Mario called first and showed up early. They were very polite and friendly. Paul did the main work and Mario helped out by connecting water pipes from main line and jet pressure machine. After they fully cleaned to main sewer drain. They used a nozzle camera to look inside the pipe as far as I can see the pipes and belly on a monitor. The whole process took less than an hour. The job is done professionally. Paul had good smile and good attitude. I recommend the company and technicians.

The plumber came out to see if he could find a leak in my shower. He found the leak, it was the shower head dripping on the shower floor (upstairs). He tighten the fitting and the sound stopped down stairs. He checked the water pressure going to the house before leaving. He did this with no charge. I will be using them in the future. Thank you!!

I messaged SoCal Plumbing on a Sunday evening through Yelp and received an almost immediate response. They came out Monday morning right at the time promised. The plumber was courteous, followed all safety/cleanliness protocols, and explained exactly what he was going to do. He provided a fair quote and got right to work. I had an issue with my shower handle cartridge which needed to be replaced and also a leaky shower head. I called in Monday morning and wasn't expecting anyone to come by the same day but Paul and Eric came by within 20min and got the job done . They were professional and explained everything clearly . They had to cut a piece of tile out and when the job was done, they vacuumed the restroom for me , thank you! I had a previous plumber come by and they told me I needed to change the water heater which would've cost way more. Glad I called and got a second opinion.

When i arrived both vans were parked on my driveway... it was pouring rain, i had to carry my infant grandson in the house from down the street. The house smelled like cigarette smoke. The gentleman that spoke to me seemed nice at first. He said he had to cut a hole in the drywall in the downstairs-bedroom.. fair enough then he wanted to cur holes in the bathroom upstairs and another one in the upstairs bedroom. When i asked him to come back another time so he could talk to my husband... he became irate and very intimidating. He began getting upset because i wouldn't allow him to just feel free to cut into my house as he pleased. He was equally mad he had to talk to my husband. I had to be assertive and ask him to leave... wouldn't leave without a commitment he could come back and finish the job. I knew i didn't feel comfortable with him so i asked to pay for his time and reluctantly he gave me a dollar amount and left the biggest mess behind.
Nasty ill never ever call this company again.

I found water leaking from a slab level point at the side of my home. I called several plumbing companies to give me repair estimates.
Each had the same elaborate plan to drill through the slab and my tile floor to find and repair the leaking pipe. Estimates exceeded $10,000.
When So Cal Plumbing arrived, it was like a breath of fresh air.
They recommended capping off the pipe embedded in the slab and
going thru the wall to connect to the manifold. I went with their solution.
No more leaks, no broken slab or tiles to replace. Several small holes
to replace in the wall. Wall access makes so much more sense to me
than pipes embedded in the cement slab. Cost: less than $3,000.
Johnny took the lead and explained everything as the team went throuh their steps. Paul was great with copper and Pex. Fernando and Eddy assisted every step along the way. P.S. My home was left swept and clean.

In 2017, I hired SoCal Plumbing to reset my toilet and replace old water valves in my wash room and kitchen. Joseph and Johnny did an excellent job with both projects. Also, later in the year, I needed to replace my pressure regulator and again this company's service and price were unbeatable. I called in the morning and Joseph informed me that he would be able to send someone out that afternoon. Johnny arrived on time and completed the job within an hour. Then in 2020, I had my water heater replaced and was again very pleased to do business with them. The team that came out followed the proper safety protocols for Covid-19. This is my go to plumbing company -- they are honest, knowledgeable and stand behind their work.

Got a leak report from tenant in the morning and by 4pm in the afternoon it was fixed with brass T pipe replacement. Excellent communication and efficiency. No nonsense with quote that came in higher than others (to replace brass pipe rather than repair/patch leaking section by others).

Quick response by Joseph and technician showed up on time. Surprisingly the invoice after work done came in 15% less than quoted.

Look no further for great, prompt service. During a routine safety check by the Gas Co., a gas leak was found and a valve to our water heater needed to be replaced. The Gas Co. turned off the gas to our house so time was of the essence. I called SoCal Plumbing & Rooter and Derek was there in about an hour. The job turned out to be more difficult than we originally thought but Derek did a great job. Our gas was back on by 5:30 p.m. thanks to Derek and this company. Plus, Derek is well-spoken, clean cut and easy to deal with. I will definitely use this company more in the future. By the way, in comparison, I've used a couple other plumbing companies in the Brea area in the past and one of them I wouldn't even trust to have the employees in my house again.

When our 11 year old water heater started leaking, I called SoCal Plumbing based on Yelp reviews. The gentleman on the phone quoted me a price and a time that someone would be out. My experience with SoCal Plumbing was very positive.

I tried getting a quote on a small repair work, but encountered outright disdain from some other plumbing companies who stated that the work was too small for them to even come out. wow. - but not these guys. They were professional, courteous, and gave a reasonable quote to do the work. The work was scheduled quickly, the repair technician came on time, and the work was done exceptionally well.

If I ever have more plumbing needs, i would not hesitate to use them again.

Absolutely FANTASTIC. I called for an estimate to replace our old tank water heater with a new tankless system. Mario arrived on time and performed a thorough inspection before putting together a detailed estimate with a few options to choose from.

As a young woman, I truly appreciated the customer service and how Mario treated me with respect. He was happy to explain the work to be done and answered all of my questions.

We went over the options and I chose to get a tankless water heater. We got it scheduled for installation the next day! I had some follow up questions and spoke with the owner, Joseph. He treated me with respect and care while explaining everything clearly.

Mario + team arrived on time as promised and got to work immediately. I was so impressed. Mario kept me updated on the progress of the work and, when installation was complete, Mario was happy to explain our new system and make sure my husband was totally satisfied with the work. This was really special to me because my husband is very particular and it meant a lot that they were patient and understanding. Truly exceptional customer service.

Mario wore shoe covers inside our house and the crew cleaned up their work area -- they even swept!

I had a 15 year old tankless water heater that was making a loud banging noise when it turned on and had started to not regulate the temperature anymore.
After checking Yelp reviews, I called SoCal Plumbing. Mario came out the next morning to give an estimate And from the moment I answered the door, I was impressed. He had a mask on and insisted on putting booties on his shoes before entering my home. I don't ever remember a plumber doing that before.
When it came to the inspection, I was again impressed at how thorough and knowledgeable he was. he went through the various options he could do to try to fix it and explained everything in a way I could understand. With it being so old and me never having it serviced, (I was never told I needed to), I agreed with Mario that it wasn't worth spending money trying to fix it and it needed to be replaced.
Mario then turned to checking the plumbing and vents going to and from the unit to make sure they had been installed properly. He even grabbed a ladder and went in the attic to make sure the vent had been done right up there. He spent 45 minutes to an hour going through everything to ensure that he gave me an accurate estimate. Like I said, thorough. Thankfully, he found that everything had been done properly and didn't even insinuate that it hadn't been to try to jack up the price.
I was already pretty sure I was going to need a new water heater and had researched replacement costs online. His estimate was well within the acceptable range and I really had a good feeling about Mario, so I decided I didn't need anymore estimates and gave the job to SoCal Plumbing.
Mario came back the next day and had the Whole job done in about three hours and left the work space cleaner then it was before he started.
Thank you Mario. I hope SoCal Plumbing realizes that they have such a professional representing their company.

I had very low water pressure in my master bath shower so I called SoCal Plumbing (based on yelp rating) thinking I would get an appointment in 3-5 days. Instead, they sent someone over within 1/2 hour. The plumber, Mario, wore a mask and shoe coverings and stayed distant, which was great for my family. He was very knowledgeable, walked me through the issues and found a very reasonable fix for the problem (I was dreading having to break tile walls but he confirmed that was not needed). Wow what an amazing service. I just move into a new home. After moving we noticed the kitchen floor to be super hot. Therefore, I called them to help me figure out the leak and fix the leak earliest possible.
As soon as I called them they arrived to our home. The person came and inspected our home for possible leak.

He looked around the house and said since we are living in a condo so we don't need to worry about fixing. My property management will be fixing it for me. And explained me the whole process and left without charging me a single penny.

My wife and I moved into our first house on Saturday only to find water backing up in our shower. Within 3 days of light use we had sewage coming out of our shower drains. After trying to work with our home warranty, we took matters into our own hands and called SoCal Plumbing & Rooter. Mario and Eric were at our house within an hour. They took the time to diagnose our problem and explain it all to us. We really appreciated their honesty and all the steps they took to try and resolve the problem that night. Unfortunately, we needed to install a sewer clean out line based on how bad our back up was (years worth of tree roots). Mario, Richard, and Eric showed up right at 9 am to begin work on the instillation. Again they kept us updated on every step and were a pleasure to work with. We will be going back to them for all future repairs (hopefully not for awhile though)!

I can't praise SoCal Plumbing, and specifically Shandy and EZ, enough. I have never encountered a more knowledgable plumber, with such attention to detail, as Shandy. Our water heater stopped working, causing us much stress, especially during these crazy times dealing with the coronavirus. Shandy took the time to assess the situation thoroughly and offered options for repair versus replacement. He was very aware of the need to sanitize everything and keep proper distancing, as well. In the end, he replaced the heater on the spot and made things more reachable and totally up to code. His work is impressive and the job was reasonably priced. I am a fan, and am happy to have found someone I will not hesitate to call in the future.

I contacted them after they had closed and was surprised to get a call back during the evening hours (customer service A+ already). I said I was looking for a second quote on a project if he could make it out today (day following my call). He said he couldn't but could make it out the following day or the next. I was really appreciative of his honesty (would give estimate on the phone in case the job was more involved, so not trying to bait and switch). I told him I'd get back to him after the first quote, and I did. I couldn't go another day with no water and so went with the first quote to have it repaired on the spot. He was very professional - stayed with the job until it was done. He had to go to the plumbing house twice. This is old house.

I am old school I find a good vendor and I am loyal and always honest with them. I expect no less. If you make a honest mistake fix it. But, if you even stretch the truth. Never come back.

Everything was detailed and specific. I am a DIY-er that keeps plumbers employed, but Mario did not make me feel small because I lacked expertise. He informed me of his years experience and let me know that he has all of the tools and muscle memory to do a great job.

Derek replaced the toilet for us. He did a great job! Not only replaced the toilet that he quoted, but also replaced the flange that was rusted. The flange was not part of the original quote and they did not charge me extra for it.

We discovered an exterior gas line from an old bbq was really leaking after my husband accidentally bumped it with the weed whacker. Our tankless water heater kicked the bucket and I called around and couldn't get anyone to come out and fix it, it was going to take days. We had been without hot water for almost two days. I called So Cal up and they got a person out that night! They couldn't fix it at that point because we needed a new one, but they were at my house first thing the next morning and they were in and out! Had it installed and ready to go in 3 hours! Our kitchen sink stopped up as we were doing the dinner dishes last night. I called SoCal Plumbing and rooter about 8:20 am this morning. They sent Shandy to check out the situation. He arrived in about an hour. It was a nasty clog at our 65 year old house and it took extra time and effort to break it up but he kept working at until the drain was clear. Although it took longer than anticipated, Shandy didn't change his price and we paid exactly the amount he quoted us before he began work. I contacted SoCal Plumbing via Yelp messaging on a Sunday and they were ready to send someone out the next day to come check out my water heater issue. Paul showed up, identified the source of our leak and provided a couple options. I decided to try to work with my water heater company directly to see if I could get a replacement unit under warranty. After getting the runaround from the manufacturer, I called SoCal Plumbing back and they sent Paul back out to my house and he called the manufacturer directly. Even though replacement units were back ordered, Paul managed to replace my unit the next morning from a new one at their warehouse. I had a clogged sewer that seems pretty straightforward until Dave at SoCal Plumbing came tried to unclogged it. Dave worked on unclogging our sewer for a couple of hours until passed 730pm, but was unsuccessful. He came back the next morning with 2 other guys and after some ingenuity tricks, they were able to unclog our sewer line. These guys were honest and persistent that I would highly recommend SoCal Plumbing if you're in the Brea, Fullerton, La Habra and Placentia area.

We were having problems not getting any hot water so after looking at the water heater I decided to reach out for some quotes.The guys at So Cal were extremely responsive and sent a plumber with in a hour.

Paul and his team were extremely professional and honest. He showed me where the water heater had corroded and replacing it was the only plan of action. His quote was reasonable as I had already received several others to compare.

Just moved to our new home, first day in, water heater is toast. Need hot water! So I checked Yelp for businesses local to Brea, (Because supporting local businesses is great for the community), and saw this company. Called first thing in the morning, and was told that they can have someone arrive by 10:30 to figure this out for me. If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I've hired countless plumbers, typically based on recommendations/referrals. I've encountered my fair share of decent plumbers and those that are downright awful (see my review of Orange County Plumbing Heating & AC). So I'm so relieved to have found a company with not only expertise but reliability and honesty.

I initially called SoCal Plumbing after my tankless hot water heater suddenly stopped producing hot water. The mysterious disappearance of hot water had occurred a few times prior which seemed odd considering the house is brand new and not a low grade tract home. I had previously paid other plumbers to try to identify and correct the problem but no one seemed to do much more than shrug their shoulders after tinkering around for a while.

SoCal sent someone to replace certain parts in the unit that needed replacement and it seemed to fix the issue. But, not one week later, we again no longer had hot water. Now, most plumbers would say tough, we're not coming back (that happened with another plumber before) or shrug and say well, if I replaced parts and the unit isn't working then I don't know what the problem is (this also happened with another plumber).

SoCal, however, came back and started digging deeper. They have been methodically going through and, working with the manufacturer, ruling out potential issues to get to the bottom of the problem. I genuinely appreciate that they're taking the time to figure out the underlying issue so we can avoid the issue when they could just as easily have done what all the other plumbers have done, i.e., take a band-aid approach, take our money then claim they can't do anything more.

So glad I found these guys. I'll definitely keep using them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable plumber.

These guys are great. Honest and hardworking! I've had them over at my house twice now. First time: fixed wobbly toilets and replaced their wax seals, fixed a leaking shower, and snaked the shower drain. Joseph arrived at my home the same day and assessed the problem. Since it was a Friday, and I had a significant leak Joseph set forth a plan of action which included shutting off the water supply to my home, and installed a temporary hookup to allow us to have water supply until his crew could commence work the following Monday. After exhausting my weak arms for hours trying to pull out the seized Delta shower cartridge, decided I needed professional help on a Saturday.

Phone was picked up promptly by the super nice owner, who understood exactly my dilemma and was able to schedule me in for a Sunday.

Got a call the next day to update the tech was held up by another project so would be an hour later than scheduled.

A super friendly tech arrived on time and checked out the situation and decided this will be an hourly rate project. Owner told me these stuck cartridges usually need to be burned out, which sounded quite straight forward with a blow torch to loosen up the plastic cartridge to slide out.

Work began by trying to get a grip on the cartridge with pliers and screwdrivers, which can't really get leverage in the tight spot/part. Was expecting the blow torch to come out to warm up the valve or cartridge to make it easier, but maybe that's a last resort instead of the easy answer?

Anyway, I suggested using the tools I had come up in my attempts the day before to show how to get a good grip on the broken cartridge.
PB Blaster, a cheap Walmart hook/pick tool that I was amazed with the day before, vise grips to grab that hook/pick tool for better grip, skinny screwdriver to allow some chipping away of plastic pieces, etc.
I gotta say, I would have never had the strength to be able to pull it out myself.
The strong tech continued trying tugging at the thing for a long time before he finally popped it out! Props to his endurance to be able to apply such strength repeatedly without fatiguing out!

Made sure everything got greased up the wazoo as the new cartridge went in to hopefully not have this kind of seizing again (but I am sure it will still seize up after 10 years or however long it lasts before seals wear out).

Got it done just under the 1 hour, whew!
Not cheap, but running a biz is not, so it was well worth it without resorting to call stronger folks like my bro, or my handyman uncle who lives an hour away, lol.

5 stars for the super nice biz owner and tech, understanding problem by phone, very professional to update on schedule, being available on weekend, etc.

3.5 stars on prep/readiness to tackle the problem. If I did not have the hook/pick tool that allowed getting a firm grip on the metal cylinder of the cartridge, it would have easily gone over an hour trying this or that. The heat method should have made this much less of a struggle, especially with the hook tool I had, maybe just needed a little bit of heat to loosen and pull out.

Either way, a very friendly and professional business available 7 days for your plumbing needs. Felt like family from start to finish, without bothering my own family members!

I had a great experience with SoCal Plumbing & Rooter. Joseph responded within minutes to my Yelp inquiry and was able to schedule a home consultation for the next day. Mario came early (and I received a phone call alerting me) and assessed the problem. After I signed off on the work to be done, he started working. He successfully unclogged my drain, changed the p trap out to a better fit, and made it so my sink wasn't regurgitating water every time I used the dishwasher or garbage disposal (gross). I had a tankless water heater go out and called these guys due to the yelp review that they had. It was the perfect choice. When I called on the phone they were really professional and friendly. I had a tankless water heater go out but my warranty was voided since I wasn't the original owner so that sucked. Shandy came out and was on the phone with the manufacture and they diagnose what the issue was. The price for the parts were really high, so I just opted to have it replaced with a Nivian. Shandy is an awesome person to work with. He tells you exactly what he's going to do and is very patient since I asked him a million question. His attention to detail with the install and knowledge of what he's doing makes you feel like got a good deal. He is very good with craft and does not take shortcuts. I would definetly use them again.

This is my 3rd review for SoCal Plumbing and it's been 5 stars every time. It's a great feeling to know I have an honest and professional company to turn to for my plumbing needs. The valves to turn off the main water line to my house and to turn off water to my sprinkler system were frozen. The valves were very old and had been painted over many many times. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to turn off my water if I ever had a major water leak. So I called SoCal and they sent a tech the next morning. Paul inspected everything and provided me with a fair quote to replace both valves. This was more complex than it sounds as it involves cutting out the old valves, then installing the new valves and rebuilding the copper lines. Paul did a great job, fully tested the new installation, and took the time to make sure all my faucets, shower heads, etc. were working properly after he completed the job. I feel much better knowing I can now shut off my water quickly if I ever have an emergency. Thanks Paul. Thanks SoCal Plumbing.

First, I give kudos to acknowledge lead man Paul for his thorough input in meeting my plumbing needs. His price was fair compared to two other plumbers I called prior. Paul quickly responded by phone to all my concerns like showing me by video my lines before the work was begun and while the work was in process. Had my exterior kitchen clean-out relocated 2' higher from where it was at just above the driveway. The exterior kitchen clean-out was in the way of me converting the driveway from asphalt to concrete. Also had my home's cast iron horizontal sewer line converted to ABS, added two new clean-outs in the front, had a 10' a section of cast iron relined so that I wouldn't have to break-up my concrete walkway leading to my front door, and had the flange raised higher on one toilet to stop using two wax rings to get the toilet at floor level. My home is lifted and has a high enough crawl space. The 4 man crew sent by Paul worked extremely well as a team, each did their job with diligence and were friendly. The old cast iron horizontals were removed from underneath the home and taken away for disposal, and the ABS was installed by Zeke and Mario. They each showed me pictures of the lines and risers before doing the repiping. The other two in the crew Christian and Victor did the heavy lifting by excavating the holes needed to reline the cast iron section underneath the walkway and for the two new clean-outs. They also removed and installed one of my toilets that I had the flange lifted. I highly recommend Paul and his crew of Zeke, Mario, Christian, and Victor for any re-piping or plumbing needs you may have.

Had a clogged shower drain after pouring in some drain cleaning fluid, ironically. So I got a few quotes from plumbers and decided to wait for SoCal Plumbing because they were local. I provided the details of my problem along with pictures but they insisted that an estimate cannot be given until the plumber comes to see it. So Shandy, the plumber came over and after telling him the same problem, he told me a price, without seeing the drain. Joseph trouble shooted, found he could no repair since th e tank had ruptured and was leaking. Gave me a great price to install new one and haul away the old. Installed everything to code and has warranty for 6 year parts and labor!!!! Can't beat that. Highly recommend Joseph or johnny the very talented and friendly guy that took apart and ran thru how to maintain my new water and hopefull make it last for years. First, let me say, that I do not regularly do reviews. Things have to go horrible wrong or high praises need to be given. Two days before Christmas, our drains decided they no longer wanted to work in one of our bathrooms. We called our regular plumber who was too busy to assist. Other calls failed. Nightmare before Christmas in real life. My wife came across SoCal Plumbing, who was local and had great reviews. We called and were not only able to make an appointment, but they were over within 30 minutes. Yes, 30 minutes. The technician, Mario, was very friendly, engaging, and polite. Within 45 minutes, the problem was fixed and Christmas crisis was adverted. My only criticism was that the payment app did allow for a tip. Their number is now in my phone; old plumber's number has now been deleted.

The water main underneath my house busted on Mother's Day! I needed someone to come out asap as I didn't know how bad the damage was. I left a message for a few places on Sunday evening and these guys called me on Monday morning. They came out by 9:30am and immediately took actions to mitigate the damage while giving me an idea what the cost would be to fix it.
Amen, who was the guy who came out, was super friendly and helpful. He later brought a team and started fixing the broken pipe.
I want to thank the entire team, including Paul and Joe, who called me to update me regularly. I don't have the names of the other guys who were here but want to say they were all great! They got the problem fixed in two days while giving us running water overnight by providing a temporary fix. I would highly recommend their services! They also cleaned up after the work, which I appreciate.

My commercial electric water heater stopped working and I noticed it already started leaking. I called SoCal and they dispatched Shandy to come take a look. Immediately upon inspection, he already spotted numerous problems and the various remedies I could take.
Once deciding on the solution, he quickly went to work and removed the old heater so it wouldn't explode and flood my office. Shandy made sure everything was safe with electrical and plumbing until he returned with the new heater.
Shandy returned the next day with a replacement heater and installed it along with new plumbing to bring things up to standard. The work took a little longer than he expected but never once complained or said he needed to increase the price. He did amazing work and very professional. It was hotter than a camels butt crack in the location he had to work, I can't thank him enough. His professionalism and work ethics show what he's truely made of.

I have used several local plumbers for various tasks from rebuilding the main water manifold to clearing main drains. They were all competent in the service they provided.

The service needed this time was more immediate given we had water coming down from inside the stucco wall outside the kitchen RIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING.

Called their business number on Monday to schedule an estimate as the third estimate. They said they were booked but set up an appointment for Tuesday but if any time opened up they would would get someone out to assess. They called back Monday around noon and said they could send someone out to estimate if that was OK (hell yes). Paul showed up and gave me an estimate consistent with the other ones I had gotten but much more detailed in how they would give the full estimate meaning that unlike others they would detail it out AFTER the wall was open and knew the true extent.

When I asked Paul when they could break the wall open if I gave the go ahead he said immediately but may not be able to finish across the next several days but would leave it in a state where we would have water for Thanksgiving. He broke into the wall and worked his way through the mess inside finally arriving at the leak was Inside the foundation. Skipping to the end he called the office to see when they could do the bypass and the owner told him the two plumbers were on the way.

Bottom line is that Paul, Eric and Ezekiel did a damn fine job quickly and professionally and then completely cleaned up before they left and for a reasonable price.

This company will be my go to guys for plumbing in the future. Got the recommendation to use them from my daughter who had them out for a service estimate where they could have led her on and charged her but told her the truth about what to do herself and didn't charge her anything for their time. Businesses like this are hard to find nowadays if you need plumbing help this is where you should start

SoCal Plumbing did an excellent job replacing our broken water heater with a new tankless water heater. The broken water heater had sprung a leak and flooded our basement with a few inches of water. We had a plumber from another company evaluate and gave us what we felt to be a high estimate for a lower end water heater. We called Joseph who answered the phone promptly and gave us a lower quote for a high-end water heater. They also include a 5 year labor warranty. He sent a crew (4-5 men) lead by Shandy, over the SAME day. The job ended up being far more difficult and complicated than expected due to the flooding and nature of our basement (solid granite walls, improper venting, suboptimal electrical wiring...), but they went above and beyond to get it done promptly. Shandy was very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained the challenges with our house, options for addressing the issues, and recommendations for the safest, most efficient solutions. They worked late into the night and returned promptly the next day to complete the work. They were extremely accommodating of our work schedules. When they were done, the new tankless water heater mounted into the granite wall looked like a piece of art. Astonishingly after removing gallons of water in addition to 2 water heaters and all of the work entailed, there was zero mess - the crew had taken care to cover our hardwood floors and cleaned everything completely. Shandy even gave us referrals and advice on how to take care of the water damage. Truly appreciate the EXCELLENT service. We will definitely call this company again for plumbing needs and request Shandy! Thank you for your hard work!

I can highly recommend SoCal Plumbing and Rooter. Paul arrived on time as promised and smoothly orchestrated a replacement with Rheem for my leaking tankless water heater that was under manufacturer's warranty. He was very pleasant and took time to explained the whole process. With assistance from Nick and Tim, they ended running from Brea to Lake Forest to the closest supplier with a unit available. Although it was the same model, the new unit was smaller and they had to expend further unplanned effort to shim it out from the wall in order to match it up with the existing ductwork and ensure it was properly installed(old unit was shoddily mounted, fittings not greased, etc.). It must have taken twice as long as they had originally planned, but everything worked fine afterwards with no additional cost to get the job done right. Paul and his team are to be commended.

So glad we picked this plumbing company. We had a clogged kitchen sink and looked at different YELP reviews and saw that this company SoCal Plumbing and Rooter had great reviews. We called them yesterday and they answered right away and we made an appointment for today. They called us today as they were able to come earlier than the appointment time which was great. We had Derek as our plumber. He was so efficient, cordial, helpful and explained all of our options without any pressure. He analyzed the problem and after explaining everything we chose the option which required less time and money. We never got any resitance or pressure to choose the more expensive option. He did unclog and fix our sink and infact fixed a pipe angle problem while he was doing the work. We may at some point have him come back for the bigger fix as we really appreciated his honesty and again, the no pressure attitude. We liked him so much we had him look at our bathroom sink which sometimes had problems and again he explained solutions of what we could do and what they could do.

We reached out to several companies to get bids for installing a tankless water system and water softener for our home. The team at SoCal plumbing came out a few times to gather data before submitting their bid for the work. They are super friendly and their attention to detail and offering different options depending on out budget was a big help in us sitting down to figure out which option was best for us. Any question I had was answered in a manner I could understand, which didn't happen with other companies we looked at.

They were available to start the next week, so we went ahead with them started the process. They estimated the work to be two days, but they were able to knock it out in one, and MAN did the install look good. After they left we had a small issue with the placement of our water softener which they came out the next day and moved it no issue. Great service!

We love our new system...what a game changer. Should we have any plumbing issues in the future I know exactly who I will be calling for help.

Derek & Thomas are my new favorite plumbers!
I called SoCal on Sunday, they returned my call quickly and scheduled a visit first thing in the morning. I had water leaking from a 2nd story bathroom down into the 1st story ceiling of my rental (it wasn't an emergency).
Aside from their great plumbing skills and ability, the thing that really drives this 5 star review is Derek's Customer Service and Communication Skills; so rare these days, especially in the trades. I was at work while Derek & Thomas were at work on my house and he keep me updated along every step. Asking permission to investigate into the ceiling, letting me know the damage he found, the source of the leak, the cost involved and he even texted pictures to me so I could see what he was describing since I wasn't onsite.
Having to call a plumber usually isn't because you want to, but I'm keeping SoCal Plumbers & Derek's number in my phone and definitely recommending them to everyone else I come in contact with.

Best plumbing experience ever! Joseph and his staff are amazing! It's hard to find a decent and honest plumbing company...socal plumbing is legit! We had to have our toilet replaced and the flange had to be carefully replaced. I was given a very reasonable quote.
Jason was the first to arrive. Great worker. Once he saw that the job was beyond his scope of expertise, he called his boss, Joseph so that he could come take a look at it. Great service

Great start to the weekend- a pipe broke on the side of my house. I turned the water off and called my plumber. They couldn't make for a few days so I started calling around.

I spoke with the guys are SoCal Plumbing & Rooter and they said they could have someone out later that same day so I went for it. And man, I'm glad I did. They arrived within the provided timeframe, quickly assessed the issue, and went to work to fix the break. The price was fair and they got the job done. No nonsense, just nice dudes helping me out with a problem. I know same day service isn't always possible but I really appreciated that they made it work.

Called multiple times. On the day of appointment, rather than pool leak detection, I had a list of things that I had put off. DERRICK (the plumber who came out) was da bomb-- professional, gave me options, arrived sooner than quoted, was cleaner and more diligent than most repair people and did many fixes in a short time. Gentlemen as very nice but after a week the faucets are still leaking and one is leaking even more. Also, one fixture I had to replace as worker broke it. It was very old so maybe not his fault 100% but it was not broken (a screw) before he worked on it, so that cost me one stem that needed to be replaced.

Nice guys, apt took two days to get here as that was what their schedule permitted and I agreed upon.

But, $199 and I am right where I am before but now $199 out of pocket.

They should know, fix it and if you can't just move on.

So again, one stem was needed to be replaced as they broke a screw that holds a knob. And that faucet and another one are both leaking still.

Not good, do not recommend at all. Move on to another company

Yelping for the right plumber is a pain in the butt-- youre asking for quotes, most of then saying they need to take a look, you're worried about being ripped off/ going broke after trying to fix a leak, etc. Especially since you probably don't know what's wrong with your faucet, how to fix that leak, what services need to be done.
Despite the numerous local options on yelp, socal plumbing had the fastest response time, gave an actual estimate (id like to know if i need to brace for a bankruptcy, even if it's a ball park), and had someone scheduled for same day appt.
Paul-- thank you for giving me a clear breakdown of the issues/options for fixes, offer the most competitive price on the market, working with my work schedule, and of course, flawless service. Even followed up couple days after the fix to make sure not a single drop was leaking. Per Paul a drop is a drop.
This business has the perfect balance of family-like service/price, coupled with the knowledge/skills of a highly skilled and professional crew. This is a thank you from a very grateful and satisfied customer:)

MARIO was amazing!!! he came out the first time to fix the broken valve downstairs. professional, showed up early and was very efficient on his work. explained throughout what was being done and got the work done quick. then i had to call him back for some other issue that came up but ended up replacing my toilet upstairs and he did some additional work to make sure all will work correctly with no issues. same today, professional, efficient and great communication thoughout. highly recommend and joseph was great as well with quick turn around times and updates as the appointment was near and etc. found my local plumbers!!

Shandy and Mario came out and replaced a water pressure regulator. One of The Best service experiences I have had of any type of repair. This is my second review for this wonderful company. They came out right away to replace a toilet that was beyond repair, hauled away old toilet and packing material. Replaced the valve and rusted leaky galvanized intake pipe under house. They previously did all outflow pipes under the house, wonderful job. 65 year

I didn't realize that I have used this company twice- once for water heater maintenance awhile back and recently for garbage disposal replacement. And both times, they've been consistent with their quality of work. The owner was quick to respond to me on Yelp and also helped explain in detail the process when I called him. And the workers that came to my house were very professional, on time, and courteous. They also do a great job cleaning up their work area after the repair. Derek and his team were great, we've had SoCal do work or us before and we have always had a really good experience. They respond quickly and always have done a great job for us. This time we needed some plumbing work done in the crawl space under the house for the bathrooms and a new seal on one of the toilets. They took care of everything and now our plumbing is connected correctly to the house and everything is working well and no longer damaging our foundation and sub flooring. So I have an older home and so of course that means that everything slowly needs that good old maintenance that everyone puts off. Well one thing that I could not put off anymore is the pressure regulator valve clearly hasn't worked....in a while. Maybe the whole time I've owned my house? *shrug*

Anyways, after a strong recommendation from a family friend that maintains my drinking water filtration system, to get the pressure valve fixed because it's going to wreak havoc on the plumbing in the house, and after years of dealing with leaks after being away from the house for more than a day, I decided to do some homework. It just made sense now. This whole complex has units with Servepro coming on the regular as well as the water company fixing leaks on the main lines.

I knew I needed to get some quotes. Yelp does make this much easier as you can literally send the same request to multiple plumbers for quotes. Some made appointments to come out, some asked for pictures and sent me quotes and some just didn't at all.

Almost everyone was about the same in terms of costs, but ended up picking SoCal Plumbing because the guys that came out to do the estimate were punctual, super nice, explained what needed to be done and how much that was going to cost. I said that I was doing my research and that I was going to get a few estimates before I decided on someone to come out and do the work. They quickly obliged, sent me the estimate via email and left. They didn't try to get me to decide on the spot or anything. He also mentioned that their work comes with a 3 year warranty, which was more than anyone else was offering. It even stated it on the estimate. After a few other appointments and estimates, I decided on SoCal Plumbing, not because they were the cheapest, but because they came out, did a thorough inspection, gave me a free estimate and then let me make my decision. I had one company that was one of the bigger ones have their guy come out SO LATE and didn't bother to let me know until 5 minutes before the window of time he was supposed to come. I liked that they respected my time.

Overall, the guy that ended up coming out to do the job did a great job, was on time, COVID safe, even though it was A HOT day, and was done as quickly. So far, no leaks, but I have to say, it is weird when the pressure in your house is actually normal and you haven't had it ever be normal before. I guess the true test will be the next time I'm out of town and if I come home to leaks or not.

Derek was amazing! I had been getting quotes for months on a clogged shower drain snake, shower head replacement, and faucet handle replacement, and have totally been getting the run around. Many companies tried to up-sell me on a copper repipe or told me they needed to break the wall behind... no other options. When Derek came with his quote, he did mention the possibility of having to break the wall behind, but also told me he would try to do the work without moving to that step.

He was able to get the job done and was finished in less than 2 hours! He even suggested a cheaper option for repiping the house and referred us to a company that did them (they do not do full repipes). If I need work done, we will definitely give them a call.

Had a great experience with this company.
Call Friday morning to get an estimate for a new water heater the old one is about 26yrs old. The guy said they were busy and Tuesday was the earliest they could come out.
A few hrs latter he called back and said they had 2 guys in the area and they could come by for an estimate. They arrived and were very nice, the estimate was about $400 less than another estimate. They said they could do the work rite away after a canceled appointment.
They did a great job. The work area was small and hot but they didnt complain and kept the area as clean as possible. They answered the questions I had about what they were doing.

After a few days the hot water is really hot not like before.

I called several companies to get a rough estimate on a service. Most companies charge a so called house call fee regardless whether they do the job or not. So CAL Plumbing gave me a reasonable ball park figure over the phone without any charge. Joseph and Johnny were professional and courteous. We got a free estimate for a bunch of small things that needed to be done around our house. We bought the house a year ago and we're finally getting around to taking care of small items. We had some small non emergency leaks around the house since a lot of the fixtures and shut off valves are 30+ years old. Shandy spent time with us and explained what he would do and why during the free estimate. They gave us a good price and we had them go to work a few days later.

Shandy worked on the outside house shut off valve, which involved repiping the area with the shut off valves and adding a pressure regulator for the house. EZ went to work replacing a bunch of shut off angle stops in the house. They worked efficiently and got the work done in a few hours.

They were also very conscious of the Covid-19 situation. They wore shoe covers in the house, gloves, and didn't require signatures so we wouldn't have to touch anything. They also wiped down the areas inside the house where they worked with clorox wipes when done.

Our water heater was leaking for months, so we finally had the time to research and look for a plumbing company to help fix the problem and we found our solution in SoCal Plumbing and Rooter!! Shandy from SoCal came in the morning and took his time to look for the problem and issue concerning our water heater and was very thorough in making sure that the right fix was needed and if we had any questions, he was very knowledgeable in answering all our questions. He was very professional and very knowledgeable about the heater and why we needed to replace it. It turns out we needed a new heater and with an affordable price, we accepted and Shandy was able to call into the office and get a new heater right away in less than an hour on the same day. Mario came with the new heater, and he helped Shandy install the new heater in a very quick and timely manner. They both took the time to make sure the heater was placed properly and after installation, Shandy explained in detail how to use the heater and what I can expect from the heater and what I should I do if there are any issues. Both Shandy and Mario were very professional and great. I highly recommend SoCal Plumbing and Rooter for any or all plumbing issues! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!!

Shandy came to my house to fix my emergency leaky shower on the same day. He took his time to patiently explain what he was fixing and gave me education on the plumbing around my house. I could tell he and the rest of the team there have a terrific relationship. He was in constant coordination with other team members to make sure that my problem was fixed today. Sent an email to get a few places to call/email me for an estimate. Joseph at Socal was the first to email. He sent out Johnny and Anthony. They looked under the house, inspected all the pipes, had pictures to show me everything under the house. Called SoCal and spoke with Joseph. I was given an arrival time of between 11-12. Derek and is apprentice arrived at 10:30. Was given a quote and they went right to work clearing the main sewer line. As suspected it was blocked by tree roots. They got the line cleared and scoped it. Sure enough there were those pesky roots. We will be have them return soon to hydrojet the sewer line to prevent future problems.

I put in a request for an estimate at 10:40am. I had a response by 10:45 and a technician at my house by 12. And this was just standard service, not emergency.

I planned on getting multiple estimates but Mario was extremely knowledgeable and has a really great approach, plus the prices he gave were excellent. I cancelled my other appointments and Mario and his team had a shower valve replaced and my tankless water heater serviced in just a couple hours.

All around great experience. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them going forward.

Last week the water heater stopped working Joseph came out within an hour ordered a part and than Dan and Anthony can out and fixed it a few hours later. Dereck and Thomas did an excellent job installing my water heater! The process was easy (called at 11 AM, came at 1 PM, and the job was completed by 3 PM). I am definitely going to use them again!

What can I write that hasn't already been written?

I can see why these guys have 5 stars! I called and right away, I was greeted with respect and was asked important questions about my unit.

The price was reasonable and they showed up same day. Shandy and Johnny were friendly and professional. Shandy noticed a valve in our unit that was stuck and at any moment would break... that would have been an expensive fix if it did.

These guys were not like other plumbers that try to sell you items you don't need just to make an extra buck. Very honest and the price stayed as was quoted. No surprises!

Work was quick and with no mess.

I will so tell family and friends about them.

Derek was awesome! He came on estimate day and came well prepared. He was quick , to the point and very professional. On hire day he continued his professionalism and got the job done in a timely manner. Him and his associate were quick to pick up after themselves. I would definitely hire again....Great job Derek.

This is our 2nd time using this company, Derrick came today to clear our backed up drain we share with another condo unit. He was on time and fixed the issue quickly. There were no hidden fees he was up front with the cost and quickly fixed our drain. I highly recommend using this company if you have some plumbing issues.

I reached out to So Cal today with a leak in my first floor ceiling. I was surprised Joseph was able to send out a Tech within the hour. Joseph
was very kind on the phone and was transparent when I asked about the service charge to come out and assess the issue. I have renters in the property and I live 80 miles away so Derek and Mario called me when they got to property to let me know their findings and I really appreciate their professionalism. I will definitely be calling So Cal again for my future plumbing needs. Very thankful to these gentleman!!

I gave this company a second show since the Owner personally reached out and called me to apologize for not communicating with me. I'm SOOOO happy that I did. Their tech came out earlier than he said he would and was able to identify the problem as that my sump pump was just clogged up. He cleared it out and it began to work immediately. He even went so far as to clean up the area that was dirty by the standing water. When we asked how much he called his supervisor and there was no charge at all. My wife did tip him of course for his honesty. SoCal Plumbing will now be my first call for ANY plumbing needs. Thank you for resorting faith in plumbers!

Called So Cal plumbing at 10:54 on Mother's Day had a leaky pipe in attic Shandy arrived at 1:30 crawled in attic , replaced 12ft pipe. Completed his work and was on his way by 3:00. I will definitely call So Call Plumbing again

They are the to go company for all of our plumbing issues. Derick does an excellent job on replacing my faucet. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He found the problem right away and fixed it. The owner also does an excellent job on managing the schedules and quickly communicate to the customers.

I found a leak under our kitchen sink in the storage area, with the culprit being the garbage disposal unit causing the problem. I contacted SoCal Plumbing & Rooter after getting their name from a Home Advisor search. Within a very few minutes, I was contacted by SoCal Plumbing and within 30 minutes after that, in the same morning, their service technician Derrick was at our door. Derrick diagnosed the issue right away and proceeded to fix the problem. What a pleasant experience...a very personable gentleman with good skills and experience to repair/replace the unit that leaked, and provided a fair and competitive quote for the work done. Bada bing...Bada boop... Back in business with a non-leaking sink. I will certainly look to this company again if any plumbing matters arise again. First class!

I actually wish I could give a 10 star rating for this company. They are great! I needed to have a waterline installed to my new Frig so I could use the ice maker and filtered water. My house is very old and never had a hook up. Joseph was quick to call me and send someone out to give me an estimate. I knew right away I was going to use this company after meeting and speaking with Johnny. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and went beyond to explain things to me. Johnny and Anthony did the work and I loved how they worked really well together and got the Job done quickly. Thank you Johnny & Anthony!
