The Saddleback techs who have done work at my house have always been very professional. However the prices they charge are no where near the norm. This would fall under the category-Highway Robbery.
Here is my specific example:
Saddleback did a service call at my house for my A/C unit in July 2019.
Service Call = $98
5lbs of R-410A Refrigerant = $98 per pound - $490
Leak search with UV Dye = $414
Total Bill $1,002
They came back a few weeks later and told me I had two leaks which would cost around $5,300 to repair or I could get a new AC unit for around $7,200. Ironically, the unit had been working fine until 2 days after they came out to inspect the leaks...

So having the same poor cooling issue due to low refrigerant, I contacted Allen Air who has great Yelp reviews.
Allen Air Conditioning and Heating:
Service Call = $89
3 lbs of R-410A Refrigerant = $35 per pound - $105
Leak search plus sealant with UV Dye = $130
Total Bill $324

Allen Air came out the day after I called and was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The only difference in these two visits was an extra 2 pounds of refrigerant. Had I needed that with Allen Air, the bill would have been $394 vs $1,002 Saddleback charged me for the exact same service and products. When I ask Allen about repair or unit replacement cost, he quoted me about half of what Saddleback would charge.

In this apples to apples comparison, Saddleback charged me $608 MORE for the exact same service. I contacted the Saddleback tech who performed the service because obviously there was a mistake in the pricing, and I figured he had charged me the price of the much more expensive R-22 refrigerant. He said they charge the same price whether you are getting $98 a pound R-22 refrigerant (which is rarely used anymore and will be obsolete in 2020) or R-410A which Allen charged me $35 a pound. I mentioned to him the Allen quote of half what he told me repair or replacement would cost and he explained that Saddleback is a bigger company so they have to charge more...WHAT?!? The customer doesn't care how big your company is or how much your overhead is, they just want professional service and quality parts at a fair price. I own a small business and I understand how this works.

I will see if the refrigerant leaks out again on it's own and then go with Allen for the repair or replacement since Saddleback would charge me $1,000s more. What a compete ripoff! If you want to pay 155% more for the exact same service, by all means call Saddleback!

In the almost 20 years we have lived in Mission Viejo, we have had several plumbing issues and Saddleback Plumbing has always resolved them quickly and professionally.  This includes a slab leak which required a bypass, root blockage of our main sewage line at two locations, replacement of soldered valves, and the addition of toilet drain extensions due to the installation of tile flooring by the previous owner.
We have appreciated the quick, professional manner of the technicians.  They are very knowledgeable and have the tools and equipment they needed to complete the jobs quickly and well.  Once they diagnosed the problem they provided us with the various repair options and associated positives and negatives.  We felt no pressure to go with a particular option. They take care not to create a mess in the work area in your house and clean up once the work is completed.
When you find an honest and competent plumbing company, why would you use anyone else?

Update: Admits to trying to barge a hole in our ceiling, but defends and vouches for that kind of work.. clearly has a problem admitting wrongdoing. Telling of the service you'll receive if you decide to get work done by them. Guess what if I had let them hammer a hole in the ceiling (by the way, YOU guys didn't call to check with my mom I DID, you just wanted to get on with the demolition of the ceiling ASAP) of course we would have to pay for the damages and they'd walk away like oh whoops not our fault we hammered a hole in your ceiling after you told us it was a VISIBLE leak

So they came in to do a free estimate  which to my understanding .. they tell you what needs to be done and they give you an estimate.
However, the plumber came out of the garage saying so who's gonna pay me?
I was very confused... pay you for what...
He explained to me he turned on some switch and now I had to pay 160 lol

Contacted Saddleback plumbing regarding a reverse osmosis filtration unit that had very low output. Victor was very punctual and thorough in his diagnosis of a potential leak and the filter. He even contacted the manufacturer to explore options for repair. We opted to have the unit removed and install a new dispenser. Victor came back and completed the work as we agreed. There were no surprises and he worked efficiently. He also took extra care to keep the area clean. I'd recommend Saddleback based on our experience.

I didn't want to give one star because the service guy that came out was friendly. I don't like giving poor reviews. We experienced a gas smell, and SoCal Gas confirmed we had a leak and turned off our gas. Saddleback was the first to come out. I was told that we would need a repipe because our home was built in the 50s. It would cost around $2000 to find and replace the leak, and only a little more to repipe. That estimate came to $6800, which isn't only a little more, as they acknowledged. As is the case in situations where you have a problem that needs immediate repair, but no knowledge or time to research what costs should be or what to expect, we almost agreed to the repipe. At the last minute we changed our minds and said we'd get a second opinion. Well, the second opinion found the leak in the line to our outdoor fireplace, an area that a repipe would not even have fixed. They sealed the line so we could get the gas back on and quoted about $2000 to replace the line. It cost $250 for the repair. We are so glad that we got a second opinion and had our hot water on again by bedtime. I'm very disappointed and feel taken advantage of by Saddleback. I don't know if this is standard practice for them, but it feels lazy and dishonest.

AWESOME!  I had a plumbing issue from another disreputable plumber and they not only fixed it at a low cost, but checked my water pressure and found it to be excessively high, which is one cause for pipe and slab leaks.  Thomas took out his price book and went over all prices with me and made this a very easy repair!  The office staff was exceptionally courteous and the plumber was at my house within the hour. This has been a wonderful experience as far as it goes with spending money on repairs.

Saddleback Plumbing has been to our house several times - for the same thing.  When our original water heater went out they replaced it with a Bradford White.  Top of the line they said.  Then the other water heater went out, so they replaced it with a Bradford White.  Then the first one failed under warranty about  a year ago, and was replaced.  Now the second one just went out again, but fortunately was still under warranty.  Only $665 in labor (not covered under warranty) and I'm guessing $6,000 in water damage to the house.  I was just out in the garage doing some work and noticed the first water heater is leaking at the seam at the top.  Oh joy!

Saddleback seems to be always thinking about ways to charge more.  Home club and savings plans, etc., etc.  Getting greedy I think.

I've had neighbors recommend Saddleback and I may have a project coming up.  In reading these reviews, I'd bet that most of these 5 star reviews are written by the same person.  They all mention the techs by name and they all end with the same type of short closing sentence.  Hmmm

Just had our second plumbing leak in 10 days - wish we had called Saddleback the last time. Nick came out here and found the leak and repaired it within one hour. He was professional and extremely neat. Last guy  created a mess, took 6 hours and gave us a deal - not!  We are sold, will use Saddleback again and recommend to others!!

My plumber John P was awesome, highly professional and accomplished in the industry, and he did a great job of explaining the project. This is someone I would welcome in my home anytime, class act technician! my only issue was 24 hour warranty on project after spending $1200, I think I should have been informed warranty was limited before we hit end of project, at no point as I was progressing through approving expenses was I informed restricted or limited warranty, in Johns defense...I did not ask.

After purchasing a new home we encountered several plumbing issues and called Saddleback. Bran W came to our house, diagnosed the issues and provided very clear explanations about the issues and how he could resolve them. Brian was extremely professional and it was obvious that he really takes pride in his work and wants to do the best for his clients.
When I decided to have two toilets replaced, I immediately called Saddleback and asked for Brian. Our second experience was just as positive as the first.

My first and only experience with Saddleback Plumbing for AC was very poor. Maybe they are OK for plumbing, I can't say. Here is my factual experience.

I made an appt. to have my Mitsubishi mini-split AC/heat pump service - routine service.

First, they cancelled the morning of the appt. and rescheduled for the next day. Annoying during a heat wave, but, hey, it happens.

Second, the service technician did not seem to be aware of, or care about, recommended Mitsubishi service procedures, and, basically, all he did was climb a ladder, clean out two internal filters, and walk around for a look - charging me $95.

When I specifically mentioned maintenance procedures in the book he said they were not necessary, or might damage something - incorrect.

Third, I contacted them via web form, and was promised a call back later that day from the Service Manager. I did not get a call back, thus this review.

Perhaps the most annoying were:

(a) detected a water stain on the wall, clean the wall stain using my towel, but not investigate whether a drain line might be clogged,
(b) refused to clean the internal blower wheel saying the louvers could not be removed - wrong, (c) refused to clean the internal evaporator coils, saying they were pristine - hardly,
(d) did not clean on top of the internal evap unit case with obvious dirt,
(e) refused to clean the obviously dirty external condenser coils,
(f) did not open the external condenser unit to check for leaks, electrical problems,
etc. etc.

In the end, I paid $95 dollars for not much, and the cooling situation is little improved.

It is also interesting that they offer a $25 off of $100 dollars or more on the website. This service is cleverly priced at $95, so no promotion. Not related, but, interesting marketing.

Was very happy with their customer service and quality of work. I initially submitted a quote request online and they called me back that same day, provided all the info I needed and answered all my questions -- very courteous! I actually got a lower quote from another company but decided to go with Saddleback Plumbing because of their excellent customer service.

Our technician, Brandon, was on time and very professional. He came out to install 3 new toilets, we had purchased the wrong size so he helped me figure out what would work so I could exchange them. Because of that I had to reschedule our installation, which they did for the very next morning. Awesome!  Again, Brandon was on time and even took the time to check out our gas pipes while he was waiting for me to arrive.

The work was very well done, clean and efficient. I would definitely recommend Saddleback Plumbing for any of your Plumbing needs or emergencies.

I had Saddleback Plumbing come out to diagnose a drip under my sink.  He didn't even look at it really and assumed the garbage disposal was broken.  He said to fix it would be, with a new disposal, around $650.00.  I said I wanted to check first about my warranty and would let him know.  My disposal's warranty was up and at Home Depot the same disposal is $179.00... $650.00!? sheesh, you do the math.  I was not satisfied and called Pacific Installs of Yorba Linda, they came out and they were very thorough and said the sink flange was cracked of which he showed me the damage.  The disposal was fine, he repaired the flange, reconfigured some hoses that were installed incorrectly and cleaned out my faucet spout that had low pressure without even asking and charged me $125.00.  Pacific Installs did a fabulous HONEST job and didn't ream me like Saddleback Plumbing would have.  Thank you Pacific Installs!!! and NO THANK YOU Saddleback Plumbing.

My wife had Saddleback Plumbing Heating & Air come out to check out our heater that was not working back in February. Charged $98 to diagnose what was happening. Think most places charge if you don't get repairs done. No problem. Report stated Furnace not responding for call to heat. 30 year furnace, furnace is dirty and worn.  She was provided estimates to repair:

Replace Circuit Board $588
Replace Control Module $813
Install new furnace with new permit & mvp $5,488

So to fix this issue roughly $1,400 or replace furnace for $5,500.  

Had another company come out. Heater was diagnosed with needing new ignition control. Repaired same day and for $365,  this old dirty and worn furnace is up and running again.

Not sure if they saw a single lady, was a bad diagnosis, or something else. Glad I looked at other options though because almost spent $1,400 for heating and we live in So Cal for Christ's sake. We barely use the thing!

Ken came earlier than scheduled.  I have pleaded Saddleback to come early due to kid's schedule. He is courteous, knowledgable and personable. He fixed the problem perfectly and gave me valuable advices.  I am very pleased with his service.  I would recommend him and Saddleback.

I called about some potentially damaging leaks in my copper pipes and Saddleback was there within an hour - pretty impressive. Scott S was my service technition - he was not only the most polite and courteous service person, but also he fixed the trouble efficiently and correctly the first time. I cannot be more satisfied. The bill for approx. 2 hours of work was just under $400 including the parts of the copper elbows replaced. Considering that they came out same day, and even within an hour, saving me possibly tens of thousands of dollars of repair work, that was a STEAL. Scott S is the reason for this 5 star rating.

Kim at Saddleback would not even make an appointment for for someone to come look at our AC unit without charging an UPFRONT $300.00 scheduling fee.  I have no issue paying for services rendered but an UPFRONT fee - REALLY!!!   She even called back and said she talked to her supervisor and would accept a credit card number as payment BEFORE THEY COULD COME OUT!

Ken S. arrived on time and installed new valve on leaky bathroom faucet and fixed  leak in dishwasher drain system.  Old valve was a bit of a chore to remove (I had tried myself before calling and it wouldn't budge).  Excellent work, cost very reasonable, and I was able to use online discount coupon as well.  Have used Saddleback Plumbing for several years and Ken S. in particular.  Have always been extremely pleased with Ken's  knowledge and workmanship.

We've been happy and serviced by Saddleback Plumbing for years.  It is important with my husband's health issues that our air conditioner is always working.  We had our check/maintance service a week before having a new roof installed.  It got very warm the second week of roofing. We turned on the air and it did not work.  UGH!  Called Saddleback immediately and they got to our house where Justin Lynas took his time and accurately diagnosed the problem. It was a hole in the copper air conditining piping that went from the unit up into the roof.  Justin was great at explaining the problem to us as well as professionally working with the roofing company on our behalf.  Justin called the roofers, explained the situation and met them to show them where he knew the leak was. Justin and the roofer got on the roof and in just a few minutes after removing some tiles, the roofing nail hole in the copper pipe was found.  Justin Lynas and Saddleback adjusted their busy schedule the day before a Holiday weekend to complete the repair.  Saddleback Plumbing and Justin Lynas are to be commended for their professional, courteous service.

Saddleback Plumbing are heros in the eye's of my family. I phoned to set up a repair of my Ac unit and spoke to an angel named, Lauren. She told me that she could have a tech out to my home within 48 hours. I was thrilled because this was two weeks sooner than anyone else had offered and I expressed to her that it was literally a life-saver because we had just that moment picked our 13 1/2 year old dog up from the surgical center where she had undergone a surgery to tie back paralyzed muscles in her larynx that had been blocking off her supply of air and suffocating her. When we were being discharged at the hospital, the doctor told me that ,these dogs need to be in air conditioning constantly because they cannot be allowed to pant and they cannot ventilate themselves properly. I explained to Lauren that our Ac fan unit had burned out the day before and we were so grateful for such a short wait offered to us by Saddleback. We hung up and my family and I prepared to work around the clock with ice and fans to try to keep our dog cool. Within 2 minutes, Lauren was on the phone calling me back. She had spoken with management and the decision was made that a technician would be at our home that evening to fix the problem so that our dog would be comfortable and safe! I literally came to tears...there are no words to describe the relief that washed over my already totally stressed out family. Saddleback Plumbing and Lauren helped us to get our dog through the first most critical days of her recovery . We feel forever indebted to your company and will NEVER use anyone else. Your technician was prompt and wonderful. Another person called us to give us a status on his arrival and offer best wishes to our dog in her recovery! Each time we spoke to anyone in the office they mentioned her and wished her and us well. It was so comforting. And, in todays times, when people can be so detached and self consumed, it was the most refreshing experience and, it could not have come at a better time, as we were so stressed and devastated by her condition. I am happy to tell you that she is recovering well and comfortably enjoying her air conditioned home! THANK YOU SADDLEBACK PLUMBING and big kisses for Lauren from Phoebe (our pitbull that had the surgery)!

After having kitchen cabinets refinished our kitchen faucet quit working properly?  Called Saddleback Plumbing.  The young man arrived as promised, on time.  I explained what was happening.  He quickly diagnosed the problem, reached under the sink, turned on the cold water shutoff valve.  He states all fixed.  No charge!

If I ever have a plumbing issue I have no worries at all.  I just call Saddleback Plumbing and ask them to please send Memo out.  Usually I am scheduled within a day or two!  Not only does Memo fix whatever the problem is, he explains everything, tells you options if there are any, and thinks thru every project for solutions.  Besides his extraordinary skills he is just an extraordinary person!  Thank you Saddleback Plumbing and thank you Memo - job always well done!!!

I requested an appointment to have someone come out to give an estimate on a mini split. I was given an appointment on a Tuesday with a 3 hour window. I got a call about 2 hours before and was told they were too busy but asked if they could reschedule for the next day. Luckily I hadn't left work yet so I said it was fine and fixed my schedule to accommodate the change. My appointment was from 3-5 pm the next day and at nearly 5pm I was called and told that the technician would be there a bit late. He showed up ten minutes past 6. Friendly enough, was in the house for maybe 10 minutes and promised me an estimate the next morning. The estimate that was sent was three pages, but only 5 words of actual text, in fact, I missed it entirely and asked why he sent me a blank one. The estimate was a whopping $4000 higher than the last estimate that I had been given, by a similar HVAC company. I was really disappointed that I arranged to leave work early only for them to show up an hour and change late (after I had already accommodated the initial schedule change) and tried to charge me an outlandish price.

When I emailed back to let them know that $4k was a bit of a jump, the response was Yeah our prices are higher. My guess is either they didn't want my business and gave me an astronomical estimate of $9800 to install 1 mini split a/c, or they participate in highway robbery. I could pay a little bit more than that to have my town-home outfitted with regular ducted AC! Watch out for this company!

Our rental property had an AC problem.  My tenant gave me this bill: Diagnostic $98.  1 TURBO 200 DUAL CAPACITOR $355.  I'm not sure what the specific capacitor is but the price range of all turbo 200 dual capacitor that I could find from google is $50-$125.  I would ask my tenant to not call them up ever again.

I'm a A/C and Refrigeration contractor that was helping a friend find a solution for their sewer problem. The stress of the situation was the fact that my friend just lost her husband who always handled all the house repairs. I got lucky once and I cleared her drain and it worked for 5 days but of all days for her problem to reoccur the day of her husbands funeral, while guests were over, that old drain just couldn't handle the demands. Now I had a small level of stress because her needs were beyond my expertise but I didn't want to leave her without vetting whoever was going to help. I actually called another plumber with tons of reviews and they recommended Saddleback Plumbing to me.

Scott was the tech who was early to the house and he was super patient with the owner and her over helpful neighbor. These are the times when we are at our most venerable and I am happy to report Saddleback Plumbing did fantastic. From first contact when I was transferred straight to the owner who kindly listened to me explain the situation to when I left the owner in Scott's hands to when I called later that night to check how she was doing everything I witnessed was competence, transparency, value and trust.

I have no hesitation recommending Saddleback Plumbing. Great job you guys and gals and thanks.

Exceptional work from the Saddleback team! Our old water heater started leaking right before we had to leave town. We were desperate to get it fixed fast and we are so thankful to have had the new water heater installed same day. Bryce helped us get on the schedule and had a technician at our door within 20 minutes. Mike arrived on time ready to install the new water heater. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process and explained everything with great detail. This was our first time using this company and they will be our go to moving forward should we need them. Their pricing is very competitive and comes with top notch work. I highly recommend them and we are so grateful we found them.

We will no longer be using this company for future jobs or recommending them to friends, family or our neighbors. My husband called and made an appointment. They gave us a 9am-1pm window, but said to expect to be the first call around 9am. Around 11:30am my husband received a call that they had us down for 1pm-5pm. Less than a minute after they called my husband they called me to tell me that John was on his way and would be there shortly. John arrived approximately 25 mins later. John's attitude when he arrived seemed as though he didn't want to be working. I showed him the two things that needed to be done. He immediately told me that replacing the bathroom sink faucet was a difficult job. I told him that my brother was able to do the upstairs one quite easily with the same faucet. I was just curious why it was going to be difficult. John told me that I should have my brother do the sink then (I had no words.  I would if he could, hence why you are here). I showed him the disposal (sink was leaking & this is why I called a plumbing service) that needed to be installed and told him I bought a disposal already. He told me that the disposal was something a handyman could do.  John then told me he would be back with pricing. He came back with $299 to install the bathroom faucet and $249 to replace the disposal. I told him it seemed high, but to go ahead and do it and I would call Saddleback later to discuss pricing since we had our faucet replaced before and I wanted to compare prices from the time prior. He responds, so you do want me to do this. Again a handyman could do these things and again tells me how the bathroom sink is going to be difficult. This obviously upsets me as I have two littles running around me and man that just doesn't want to help me fix these things. I told him never mind and to have a nice day. I think it's crazy that I called for repairs and he or this company did not want to fix them.
I called another plumbing company and they were at my house in under an hour. They were friendly and replaced both items in a little over an hour. I also saved $240 going with someone else. Just out of curiosity again I asked the man if the bathroom sink was a difficult job. The man said absolutely not. I told him that another person at saddleback plumbing told me it was difficult. He said maybe if he's elderly. I said no he was younger. The man said well that's just him being lazy. I would have to agree!

The $98.00 initial diagnostic is a sham. The technician came over and launched into a sales pitch for a comprehensive diagnostic for $650.00. Terrible.

I had to call another a/c technician for diagnostic, who was more diligent and actually went into the attic and found a leak up there.

Honestly couldn't be happier with these guys.

I've lived in the RSM area for almost 20 years and have seen their trucks around town all the time, so I finally gave them a try. Bids were competitive and Niko, my sales person, was fantastic to work with. He was very helpful in coming up with solutions to the problems I presented. Robert and Justin, the two pro's that did the work, were both incredible. They were both so neat and clean,I couldn't even tell they had been at my house!

Justin's portion of the work required that they go above and beyond what was anticipated. He did it without complaining and stayed in to the early evening to see that it was finished to my satisfaction. He even took pictures of the work he'd done and even fixed some previous work that was done very poorly.

Amazing guys - all three of them. Would highly recommend them for plumbing or heating and air work.

I also addressed a concern about a possible clogged drain for one of our air conditioner units. The receptionist scheduled me for Friday, August 12th with a technician arrival between 9am - 1pm. Nobody showed up as of 1:15pm, so I called and was advised the technician was running behind and I would receive a call when he was on his way. As the 3 o'clock hour was under way, still no call. I called again as my concern was there would be a no show. This time, I was advised the technician was working a job only a few miles away and I was next. They also advised I would receive a call when the technician was enroute. At around 4:20pm, the technician showed up unannounced. He asked what I needed and when I explained, he said it was too hot to work on the ac units in my attic, and this needs to be done in the morning! Absolutely nothing accomplished, not to mention I lost a day of salary from work to be available for this service. The technician then told me he would return Monday morning, making me his first job with an arrival between 8-9am. I was back at work Monday (August 15th), so my wife stayed home for this new appointment. At 10:30am, my wife called me, as she was furious that nobody had shown up and no phone call. I understand that in this industry, delays are possible as technicians jobs may take longer than expected.... but there is no excuse for the lack of communication to the customer. Sorry Saddleback, you just lost a customer. Now scheduled with Goettl and hoping for the best.

I've had more than my share of problems with vendors so naturally my guard was up when Kenny arrived. However, he evaluated the problem, gave me an uncomplicated explanation of the issue and then detailed alternative solutions. He did his work quickly, politely and efficiently. Woke up to water leak under my sink...contacted Saddleback Plumbing Heating & Air and they were at my home by noon.  Wayne couldn't have been nicer.  He identified and thoroughly explained the problem,  wrote up an estimate, went to Home Depot to pick up a part and was done by 3pm.

We had some water heater piping work that needed to be replaced along with a new faucet sink to install.  John from SBH&A came out and provided a no charge estimate that we reviewed.  We then scheduled the work and he came back and took care of everything.  He was clean and professional and did an EXCELLENT job.  Also, he accidentally bumped into the paper towel holder under the sink and it broke (it was a cheap one).  I told him no problem and not to worry about it but you know what he did, on his lunch break he went to the hardware store and bought a new one and installed it for us before he left.  He did this without asking and he installed a much better one than the one that broke and there was no charge for this.  Also, after replacing the pipes on the water heater, one of the older pipe connectors developed a crack and he had to completely re-drain the water heater and replace it and he did not charge us extra for this.  I highly recommend Saddleback Plumbing Heating & Air, and I highly recommend John who did a great job for us.

I called Saddleback for a toilet drain problem.  James D from Saddleback arrived on time and took great care to keep everything neat and clean. He even wore protectors over his shoes.  He diagnosed the toilet problem quickly: plant roots had penetrated the wax seal between the toilet and flange, and a thick root mat had grown into and around the drain.  He carefully removed the roots, making sure he got them all, including the whole, intact, horsetail of roots snaking several feet into the drain and the dense mat of tough roots wedged in the slot between the flange, tile, and concrete slab.  He took extra measures to deter the roots from growing back.  All this was done quickly and efficiently--a thorough and neatly done job.

I had a plumber in to fix a leak issue who was NOT a Saddleback Plumber.  He couldn't figure it out and took a guess that turned out to be wrong.  So, since Saddleback Plumbing has such a wonderful reputation in my area, I called them.  Joseph came out an hour later and diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes.  It was a painstaking job because of the way my home was constructed, but he worked hard and got it done.  He pays attention to detail, and really knows his stuff.  He is also very polite, respectful of people's spaces and very pleasant.  He also was very understanding about COVID fears and wore booties in my house and a mask and asked before he did anything like move a piece of furniture, etc.  Nobody likes plumbing problems, but Saddleback made it as pleasant as humanly possible.  With Joseph an example of their plumbing staff, I am very impressed!

We have used Saddleback several times over the years and its always been a pleasant experience.   The last time around we had a new lower AC/Heating unit installed.  After several weeks we noticed a problem with the heat. This local company is everything a homeowner could want in a plumbing service. Lauren in the office was kid ad speedy about sending out a plumber. Tarek came out, gave an estimate, fixed the problem, made a few suggestions for the future, and was on his way. The pricing was very fair and the people are friendly and knowledgeable. Our tankless water heater went out this weekend and our plumber retired. I didn't know where to turn and a friend recommended Saddleback Plumbing. I cannot thank her enough.

Mike was here to diagnose the problem and Rudy came to do the installation of our new water heater. Both of them were professional, thorough, and caring. They did not try to upsell us on the newest model, the replacement recommendation determined what best suited our needs. One trend I'm noticing in this day and age, is the gradual diminishing in the number of skilled contractors (handy-men, plumbers etc.) available, which seems like a sad but natural consequence with the continued proliferation of technology. You've probably noticed a trend in which contractors are getting harder and more expensive to book, and good contractors even more so.

With this in mind, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience in contracting Saddleback Plumbing to do work at my laboratory. Saddleback Plumbing has been our company's plumbing contractor for the last few years, but I've only recently become the point of contact, taking over facility management.

We recently discovered a leak in our piping, so I called Saddleback that afternoon and the dispatcher picked up my call and scheduled a plumber to come the next morning. The plumber who showed up, named Memo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. After showing him the leak, he informed us that he'd have to shut off the water to the building, but waited patiently for us to get everything situated before shutting it down. He performed the job (replaced a section of copper piping)  in short order and went on his way. The next morning we discovered that there was a 2nd leak in a PVC pipe just above the copper one! I called Saddleback and again, the dispatcher picked up right away. I explained the new issue, and she scheduled Memo to come back out that same afternoon. He came out once again very friendly. I asked if it was possible that we identified and repaired the wrong pipe, and if the PVC was possibly dripping onto the copper pipe. Memo explained why this wasn't the case, and then took a look at the new issue. He explained that the PVC pipe was a condenser line for our HVAC system, and that the connector joints were not robustly sealed (by the contractor who installed it), on top of that, the run of PVC pipe was loosely secured to the wall and it's vibration caused wear on the seal. He took out the joint and resealed it. He then added extra reinforcement to the PVC pipe running along the wall to add stability. The whole job took him about 20 minutes to complete, and since we didn't have a satisfactory outcome after the first visit, he did not charge us for this 2nd fix despite it being a different pipe. So from my experience, Saddleback Plumbing was very responsive both times, sent the plumber out promptly both times, and the man who came out, Memo was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. 5 stars from my experience!

I would highly recommend this company. The customer service was off the charts great!!! Chris C. And Scott were punctual, professional, and courteous. They analyzed the problem with my kitchen sink plumbing problem fast and efficiently, and then gave me a few options of how to fix it. I called them at 2:00pm, they had a cancellation, and were at my house at 3:00pm. I told them it was urgent that I have the problem fixed the same day, and they drove around to get me the parts I needed, gave me a discount to be competitive, and had the job done in 2 hours. Called them to look at our AC system, which was working but I figured it needed a tune-up.  Guy comes out, says it's ready to blow - provides estimates for AC/Furnace replacement from $13k-$23k!

We call another guy our for a look - he notices the fan cowling was loose, and all of the plugs for the freon, etc are loose!  He asked if someone recently looked at it, we said yes - he said he sees this all the time, especially in summer - people trying to take advantage.  He recharged it and with $280, we are all set.

Now, we called Saddleback for an explanation and our money back ($100 for the honor of getting ripped off) - they said the service manager was not in and he would call ASAP - been a week now, no calls!

We'll keep bugging them though, also the BBB!

Chris was so great! He came over, looked at my water heater and gave me unbiased options when I was on the fence about replacing it entirely or just replacing a part. I can't say enough good things about Chris and how much information he was happy to share about local regulations and the installation process.

Saddleback Plumbing have been our go to plumbers for so long I don't even think about calling anyone else. This last visit was to install a customer provided toilet which said faulty toilet was diagnosed by them but they suggested I get what I want. To get to the faulty toilet diagnosis they had come out three times before and while they were hear they fixed a few small plumbing issues: leaky faucet, loose knobs, slow drains, etc, checked the A/C, and stuff like that.  Their prices are reasonable, their service is great and their plumbers are the best! And when you call the office and administrative folks are pleasant and helpful and when they give you an appointment window they keep it.

Service was good.  Clean, on time and knowledgeable.  Price was high.  Higher than the average and higher than the highest.

The lowest bid I received was $150; average bid I received was $250, highest bid I received was $275.   They somehow managed to schedule with my Realtor and billed out at $323.  When I confronted them about their higher prices they stonewalled.  Had they billed out $275 like the average top end guy, this would have been a different post.  I just don't like it when people think that they can just take advantage... As if they live in a vacuum.  Just make sure you negotiate pricing with these guys before they come out.

We had a home for sale in Lake Forest that had an air conditioner that needed servicing before close of Escrow.  After throwing another tech out of the house for a ridiculous scammy estimate (he wanted to replace a 5 year old unit that was getting the house cold), I came upon Saddleback Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning on Yelp. Time was short until close of Escrow and I live out of the area and could only be there in Lake Forest on a certain day. The person I spoke to at the office fit me in, even though I was initially told that they were booked for several days out which I greatly appreciated.  The tech was on time, professional and took his time to thoroughly check the system and told me that we needed some refrigerant.  He took time to explain everything to me and the price was very reasonable for the work.  He also took the time to write up what he had done on the receipt for the new owner.  Highly recommended!

If it was possible to give a negative rating, that is what Jared and the Saddleback technicians have earned.  The disaster that they created at my mothers house is beyond words.  Everything that Saddleback delivered was substandard quality.  The lack of judgement, skill, integrity and expertise is shocking. In fact, a licensed plumber never even showed up to my mothers house!  Don't be fooled by fancy trucks, Jared and his team are frauds and will create a mess that you will pay dearly for!

Overall, the technician that serviced and inspected our home was very professional, very thorough, and while he did have a lot of suggestions of work that could be done, he did not act like a used car salesman to try to push me into doing the work, but rather educated me about the problems and helped me prioritize the problems with the 30+ year old plumbing system in our new house.  Additionally, he arrived only 1/2 hour into the TWO hour period that they provided for our appointment (instead of the regular four hour window).

Excellent and thorough service provided by an honest and helpful technician.  What more could you ask for?

I purchased a deal on Angie's list to replace a hose bib. I selected 3 days and times to have them come out. Since I did not receive a phone call or email from them after 2 of days had passed, I called them and spoke with a service rep. She said that they did not get the selected days so we scheduled for an appointment.  So today James came out and I gave him the details of the job. Since there was not enough copper pipe, he was able to remove old bib by melting the old solder meanwhile he took precautions to make sure not to damage valve right next to it. I was very impressed by his competency and he made it look easy. Thank you James!  You are the best !

I was very disappointed! My tech told me I needed a new valve, for my shower, $900 as opposed to a cartridge $70 in which the new cartridge was the answer. I found this info out from a different plumber as I was skeptical with the first assessment. Upsetting, should be able to trust a quote....

It's family owned and here's my story.
My 81 year old mother (she looks 65) called them to come out to fix a noise her toilet was making. It's the new kind with 2 buttons you can choose from. She didn't recognize the insides because it's very different than the regular ones we are all used to. Apparently it just needed the screw adjustment for the pressure valve. It took him just a couple minutes. My mother asked him what does she owe, expecting to at least pay the service call amount. He said nothing, I understand you didn't know the newer mechanics. She said his name was Mike, he was dressed nice, smelled nice and she was so happy. She said he was very nice too. So, there you have it.

I took the afternoon off waited 85 minutes into my window and with only 35 minutes remaining they finally called and told me they couldn't make it out today and I would have to wait until tomorrow. My daughter (recently home from college) was complaing about the poor water pressure in her shower.  As I always do, called Saddleback Plumbing.  Sent Victor out.  What a superstar.  He fixed the problem and went above and beyond to make sure the tub and bathroom was cleaner than when he arrived.  I love Saddleback plumbing.  Not the cheapest but as they say, pay peanuts and you get monkeys.  Not with Saddleback.  I have used them for 20 years and I dont call anyone else.  period!

I just want to let everyone know I would go elsewhere for your plumbing needs as Saddleback plumbing & heating cannot work on your toilet if the hardware has rust and grime on it. That's what happened to our family, the plummer came to put a new flushmate into our toilet. He said he couldn't remove two bolts that had rust/grime on them. Thus, he was unable to remove the old flushmate all because the two bolts were not coming off easy. Then he tries to put back what he messed up so we would have a usable toilet again and was unsuccessful. My boyfriend came home from work that evening and within 5 minutes cut the bolts, was able to remove the flushmate. The next day he called Saddleback plumbing & heating and told them he cut the bolts without any issues, removed the old flushmate and was asking could you send someone out today to put the new flushmate in as we need a working toilet. The guy over the phone said that he had no one to come out unless we were willing to pay $387!! This is very upsetting as they were going to charge me $187 the first time around and then the next day it went up to $387!!! So, I just want to get the word out that if your hardware on your toilet has rust & grime and it can't be easily removed you are without a doubt going to waste your time. Indeed, I would go elsewhere especially for your plumbing needs !

I have used Saddleback on and off since I moved into the area 14 years ago, and they recently delivered a flawless customer experience deserving a 5 star review.  It has been a few years since I needed a plumber, but we discovered a leak in our kitchen ceiling late one evening this week around 9:30PM. I called and left a message for Saddleback, who called back within 5 minutes to verify if the leak was urgent enough to require a visit that evening. I decided it was a slow leak and could wait until the next morning. They called first thing and came right over. I was already at work in LA, so their technician diagnosed the problem, texted me a video clip of the issue so I could see if myself, offered me two different options and took care of the leak. I was busy at work so asked I could call back later with my CC to cover the charges, which was easily accommodated. The end to end customer experience exceeded my expectations, delivering on every front from responsiveness to follow through. I strongly recommend them.

I just had a little time to think about the vendors I've used for home repair needs, and this company came to mind.  They were referred to me by my MIL, who is super picky about the services she receives.  I give them 5 stars for good reason.  Their prices are reasonable and comparable for the quality and expertise they provide.  Also, the technicians who have come were always knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and considerate.  

We've used them for several repairs-- slab leaks, reroutes, toilet intallations, and faucet repairs.  Only had a problem with one of their technicians who seemed a little aloof and rude, but they had already gotten rid of him.  Excellent work, Saddleback!  We will always rely on you for our plumbing needs.

Called Saddleback for a second opinion on an A/C replacement. We spoke to two different people there and BOTH said it would be free to have someone come out for an estimate. When the tech got here, I'd *just* read a Yelp review saying someone had been charged for their free estimate. I double-checked, and what do you know: The diagnosis was going to be NINETY-EIGHT DOLLARS. You can't get much clearer than Is there a charge to come out for an estimate? No; so either their office staff is ridiculously badly trained or they're running a racket, can't say which.

Still thinking of trying them? The tech (who, by the way, was nice and professional and deserves better than this) ended up making the same diagnosis as the first company. The first company charged $3,000 for a good-quality new A/C unit, $4,500 with furnace. Saddleback? $8,000 for a new A/C unit, $10,000 with furnace! They have 25% one-star reviews. If you use them at this point and get burned, you have only yourself to blame.

We recently had a major leak in one of our kitchen faucets and called Saddleback plumbing out to fix. Michelle in the office is amazing to work with what a delight. We were ready for a new faucet, and Tyler was the repair man dispatched for the job. Had them install a faucet and overflow. The guy couldn't get the overflow to keep from spouting like a geyser when I MADE him test it by running the dishwasher.  After nearly an hour of him fiddling around, he still couldn't get it to work.  He was blaming the dishwasher!  So, I had him put the old one back on.  And, lo and behold, it worked.  Never again!

If I could give them a negative number for the worst customer service I would. I requested a quote for a trenchless pipe repair. They said they would be at my house between 1-3 pm. At 3:05 pm they called me and said they could not make it until after 5pm. I was ok with that and I left to go to the market. At 4 pm they called and said they were at the door and no one was home. I told them no problem they could start with the camera inspection to determine where the problem was so they could give me an estimate. I rushed home to find the technician sitting on the back of his truck. I asked if he was done with the estimate and asked where he saw the problem with the camera. He said he could give me an estimate but he does not carry a camera on his truck. I asked him how he could give me an estimate if he didn't know where the problem was. He said he would guess the problem was 45' away and did I want the estimate or not???!!! Can you believe he was going to give an estimate not knowing exactly where the problem existed. I called the office and they said they could send someone out tomorrow with a camera if that would help. Well I am not a plumber but I sure can smell a scam if there ever was one. I would not trust this company!!!! You wonder why companies get a bad name well this is one of the reasons!!! Worst ever!!!

My grandmother has been using Saddleback Plumbing for 20+ years. Everyone who works there is always so kind, and this review is for Memo, who came out a few weeks ago and helped address a leak that she had. He quickly assessed the situation and capped off the affected pipe and came back the next day to reroute everything! Can I give them 10 stars? Wish I could! I've used this company for about 8-9 years now, and frankly, I will not shop around for another plumbing company ever. The quality of service and professionalism is exceptional, and their rates are very fair. I had the HVAC system in my townhome replaced (not cheap!), and Justin and his colleague (I believe new to Saddleback Plumbing) were on time, experts, and highly professional. They left every area in my home - inside and out - very clean. They explained things to me in a way I could understand. Although no one wants to need a plumbing company, when you do, I would recommend using Saddleback Plumbing. They have earned my loyalty.

I've used this company in the past for drain cleaning and had a great experience.  The kitchen drain is clogged so I call them again this time to schedule an appointment for someone to come unclog the kitchen drain.  I'm on the phone with the schedule person who is very scattered and sounding confused.  She schedules my service to take place the next day between 10 am and Noon.  I provide my contact number and my sons cell member since he was going to be the person at home to let the tech inside.
Appointment day rolls around and no one has arrived nor called.  Finally at 12:30 I call them and get the same scattered representative on the phone.  After a couple of minutes she tells me that my appointment is for the next day.  Unbelievable!   My advise to the business owner is to find a new schedule coordinator.  The current one is clueless.

They came out to quote adding a sound blanket to our A/C compressor.  Their price was 980.  Let me say that one more time...nine hundred and eighty dollars!!

It is a $60 part.  You can confirm this for yourself on Amazon.  

He called back a few minutes after leaving Umm hey, I talked to some people in the warehouse and was able to come up with a more reasonable price for you.  As soon as he started with six hundred...I laughed.  This is not even remotely close to what others are quoting.  They are a total racket.

Just had the best service from John with our water heater issue. Had a previous contractor come out who quoted us significantly more and wanted us to replace a 2 year old water heater.  John was expedient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He also knew about a previous part recall on our unit. In addition to that when he was testing out the water he noticed our sink hose was having issues and took the time to help us with that too! Above excellent service. Customers for life!

Professional as can be.  Always showed up when they said they would and very thorough in their work.  I could tell they care about their work and they were very nice people as well.  It was a pleasure having them in our home even if they were here to fix our plumbing. To top it off, they showed up in masks during Covid and were very conscientious on all fronts.  Can't recommend Saddleback Plumbing enough. They are simply the best. Call the office and was able to have a technician at my house 45 minutes later. Joseph showed up with gloves and a mask and a great attitude to fix our problem. Our Need was sort of simple today it was just replace an angle stop but Joseph took on the task got it done cleaned up After himself took the payment online. I think this company boils down down to what technician you get . I wasn't thrilled with their customer service over the phone or their professionalism when they actually came out. The work was completed but later come down to find out some screws and washers I needed to put back my dishwasher was missing so I has to go out purchase them myself and replace. Called twice about another issue no one ever got back to me. Not sure what's happening over there as they came highly recommended. If you do use this company ask for Chris as a friend had him come out and was very pleased. Maybe some technicians are not as good as others?!

I give them 2 stars because they did do something for me. but it caused me other troubles. what happened was they touched drain pipe with no care, damaged or loosed the other end of the pipe, i noticed afterward, which costed me more to repair not only the loose end but drywall on ceiling.

say no to them and do some research, there are good people around. what I did was find those with highest rated + most reviewed + phone talk to feel the attitude + see people in person before you make decision, a logical thinking, unfortunately often time we forget to do so....? I started learning from my experience working with those guys

did not show up with booties. This the third time since I have used saddleback that they have not installed the correct filter. First time I was told I had to buy it. Second time the took a larger filter bent in half and installed it. This time he came in talked a lot to his supervisor and then told me he didnt have the correct filter. So I will be exposed again to an outside plumber to put the filter in place. THIS TIME THE SERVICEMAN WAS PROFESSIONAL BUT THE DATA ON MY HOME WAS WRONG. I AM ON THE MAINTENANCE SERVICE. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT.

My AC system was leaking, and the serviceman came and didn't inspect completely and then replaced a portion of piping from the drain pan. Literally to the right of the replaced portion was a rusted out connector to the drain pan where the leak was coming from, and he had to come out a second time to try and see if he could take that out. He couldn't, and said that I'd have to replace the whole pan since he thinks the leak was due to incorrect installation, which could be true.  So basically I paid to have the problem not be fixed.  They were good in crediting me the money for the initial work, but the repairman walked away saying he'll never work on my unit again. Huh...?! What's with that?!  Definitely had high hopes they could solve my problem, but sadly not the best response I was expecting.  Maybe the company told him it wasn't worth it to help me further, but not happy with the result.

Our main water line from the street to our house burst so I called Saddleback at the recommendation of a friend. The repair was quick and the quote was reasonable.
A week later, we found that Saddleback made an honest mistake. We called them and a technician was sent the same day. The fix to the problem proved to be very challenging, and required a ton of digging and searching of our fire sprinkler system line. After a few days of work, the issue was corrected and a restoration team was sent to clean everything up and put things back to like new.
I appreciate the honesty and extra work that went into making good out of a difficult situation.

They were ok. Showed up as promised and the plumber was nice and did an ok job for a very simple task. Customer service at the office for scheduling was extremely difficult. I felt like they thought they were doing me a favor. Then the expectation that I pick up and respond to the phone calls was a bit much. They just call back over and over and over until you pick up. Even if it isn't your appointment time. And even just to confirm your appointment for tomorrow. As far as I'm concerned if someone calls 3xs in a row I expect there to be a serious emergency, not just to say someone will be at your house tomorrow or someone is going to be at your house in an hour.

Over $200 to replace a part that retails for $28 (their wholesale is even less). It took the plumber 15 minutes. He didn't even need to diagnose the problem. I told them what was needed over the phone. Even including drive time for a total of 30 minutes, that's an hourly rate of $400. After taking the afternoon off to get this toilet fixed, I had him do the job, but NEVER AGAIN. Too bad for them, since we need a new a/c unit. Glad I learned the lesson on the less expensive problem. Greed is not good, it loses business. Shame on Saddleback Plumbing.

My search for a technician that could work on my hydronic heating system was not easy (water from my water heater circulates through pipes and a fan sends heated air through vents).  I contacted MANY plumbing-heating-AC companies that could not help me.

I called Saddleback Plumbing and spoke with Tanya about this unique situation, and she really listened to my request (even I wasn't sure what I needed).  She was pretty certain that one of their technicians could work on my hydronic system (I had no heat - just cold air).  

She sent James that same day and he was just the person I needed.  He was so knowledgeable and was able to fix my hydronic heating problem within no time at all.  I told him he could not retire - ever, as he was going to be my 'go to' plumber-heating-air conditioning technician from that point on.  Really - a big THANK YOU to James, and Saddleback Plumbing.

I called because I had two clogged sinks.

After two service calls with Saddleback Plumbing, I have a brand new garbage disposal, a brand new pop up drain stopper (which leaks), and one less clogged sink. All of this for the value price of $700.

Now, I am calling another plumber to unclog only one sink and stop my brand new pop up drain stopper from leaking.

Don't be dumb like me. Don't waste $700. Call someone else.

He was very thorough in showing me on the camera equipment where the problems were and how he took care of it. The stoppage occurred because of very old pipes and he showed me,not once but many times, how the flaking of the iron pipes was causing the stoppage. He made very good recommendations. Today Saddleback Plumbing came to our house to fix two leaky faucets.  When we made the appointment, the customer service representative told us there was a $55 diagnosis fee but when the plumber came to the house he indicated that the fee was $98.  We asked about the discrepancy and he said that the $55 was just for showing up but to actually open up the faucet to diagnose the problem it would be $98.

In order to diagnose our problem the service rep replaced a worn cartridge and indicated that that solved our problem. However, if he was to leave the new cartridge in place, he'd have to charge me a minimum of one hours worth of work ($165) plus the cost of the part plus tax etc. The total came to over $235 for just ONE of our faucets. To fix the second one would be an additional $165!! I told him that was crazy expensive for less than an hours worth of work with a $10 part so he replaced the new cartridge with the old one and only charged me the $98 diagnosis fee. Huh?? In what world does this make sense? He ended up doing twice the work putting a cartridge in and then taking it out. Why not just charge me the diagnosis fee plus the cost of the part? I would not use Saddleback plumbing ever again. I felt duped as soon as the diagnosis fee was twice what I was quoted on the phone and their pricing was too high given the low level of difficulty.

I highly recommend Saddleback Plumbing. We had a very knowledgeable and professional plumber, Josh Edman replace our bathroom faucet. Very courteous, told me up front the cost to replace it. He encountered a few issues along the way, but resolved the problem. I am pleased that he covered his shoes before entering, and placed a tarp on the floor. Great Job done.

had an underground leak while away on business. The neighbors got turned off my water at the meter. I could narrow the leak down to a 20 foot section underground. As it was under a concrete walkway, I called Saddleback for leak detection services. I told them I did not want to pay the emergency rate and would wait for normal business hours, which started at 9am the next day. A tech in training and a seasoned plumber came out, and verified the information I had already told them. The reply was yup, you've got a leak. We will get you an estimate. For that, I was charged $275. The estimate came in between $5k to $12k, which was too much.

I then called the manager asking for some of the money back since all they did is tell me I had a leak; no leak detection was used. I was told the owners would get back to me, but that never happened. I would give the company no stars, if possible, but the technicians were honest and nice. They were in and out in about 15 minutes. I hope you have better luck than I had with them, but I definitely do not recommend this company.

Saddleback was recommended by my next door neighbor who uses them whenever she has plumbing or AC issues.  Sandy promptly returned my call and was able to fit me in the next day.  Joseph arrived at the scheduled time and had covid safety measures (mask, booties) on when I met him.  He was nice and professional and quoted me a reasonable price to fix my two toilets.  Checked and double checked to make sure everything was okay before leaving.  Definitely will be calling them again and referring them to my friends!!

I am still in shock by what transpired. On Tuesday we realized our toilet would not flush and no matter what we used or did would solve our clog. So we googled a local expert to handle our issue. They were very ice over the phone but of course would not give us any estimate or quote before they arrived (red flag #1). So upon looking at our situation, we are told well it's going to be $195 to start. This should solve your issue with a snake job. OK, let's do it. Seems expensive but need it fixed. 10mins latter, well that didn't work, I can solve your issue but it will be $250. I'll come back Thursday. Ok not happy but we are $200 in what's another $50? Thursday, guy takes off the toilet completly, can't seem to figure out what the issue is and then says he will need to come back Friday. This is now 3 days and over 7 hours. Friday he goes to wrong house and shows up late then 2 hrs in water is leaking through our celling in the kitchen. Guy say we will need to open tht up and see what happened. I ask him to leave immediately but not before he charged me. Always pay with a CC. We call this a chargeback situation! These idiots spent 3 days, took off our toilet, left us with a mess and a leak. I called Purpose Driven Plumbing. Took 45 mins, the clog was fixed, the mess was cleaned up and same cost as these yahoo's. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS EVER!

I had Ken Smith from Saddleback Plumbing out again to do a bunch of little things including flushing our tankless water heater, installing a new kitchen faucet, installing new angle stops for two toilets, changing the cartridge in our shower handle, re-seating a toilet that was wobbling, and replaced the tank mechanisms of two toilets. As usual he did an awesome job. I kept thinking of things for him to look at and fix as we went along. Ken was patient as always and everything was done professionally. That dude really knows his stuff.

Ask for Ken Smith when you call. He will fix you up as if it were his own house.

Saddleback quickly set an appointment to address a potential leak and a significant shower repair requiring drywall entry. As promised, John arrived during the window, and diagnosed the leak as a slab leak. He had to return two additional times to address our issues and always showed up during the promised window. More importantly, he was professional, personable, and very respectful of our home. John explained everything before, during and after repairs. His efforts made an otherwise stressful situation much better for us. Also, as a woman working from home, I felt completely at ease with John, which is a reflection of his professionalism and kindness. Couldn't recommend John or Saddleback more highly.

We ended up paying $285 to All Star Plumbing for the same service Saddleback first quoted us $942 and then $762, so it was actually a blessing that the Saddleback did not show up for our appt.  Someone called me two days after my scheduled appt. to say he was on his way.  Obviously, I told him we already had the issue resolved.  Go to All Star Plumbing!

Just moved to Laguna Woods and with the age of the homes there are bound to be problems. On moving day we were moving the old frig out and replacing it with another. The copper tube in the back tube cracked and there was no shut off valve on the very corroded line. We didn't dare try to use a wrench and make the problem worse. The two plumber companies recommended were too busy to come out so All-Star Plumbing recommended Saddleback Plumbing. Memo arrived at the designate time and had to wait for the association to turn off the water to the entire building. Memo was not only understanding but very patient. Once the water was off he worked quickly to replace the valve and line, now we are good for another 50 years! Saddleback Plumbing is now our go-to plumbers.

I am beyond pleased with the service provided this week by the Saddleback Plumbing team! First, Sandy and Michele in the office did a great job of scheduling service (on a busy Monday morning) for our broken water heater.
By 10:00am, we had plumber Tyler at our door. He was polite, efficient and competently diagnosed the problem. Tyler and the ladies in the office ordered the part we needed and he returned on Tuesday afternoon to install it. We are impressed with his expertise
and very happy to have hot water again!

I called Saddleback Plumbing for low water pressure cause and fix.  Memo, pronounced Me Mo Showed up on time, and analyzed our problem, and fixed it by replacing the water pressure control valve, and replumbing our inlet water/ sprinkler inlet so that city  water high  pressure went to our sprinklers, and pressure regulated at 60 psi to our house.  Memo is very intelligent, personable, and knows his craft. I consider his service cost was reasonable and fair. I cannot over praise this service from Saddleback Plumbing.

The old disposal pooped out and Scott came to replace it. Made some recommendations that saved me a little $$ which I really appreciated. Some businesses are all about the upsell. Saddleback Plumbing listens to what I want, gives me their input, and provides quick, reliable service. Scott put booties over his boots to protect my floors (even though I'm sure his work boots were cleaner than my floor!).

Saddleback Plumbing has been my ONLY plumbing company for years, after I had a terrible experience trying to get a good deal elsewhere.  They have replaced almost everything external in my 30 plus year old home, and it works EVERY TIME! Their plumbers are clean, polite, and most important, beyond competent.

Although Chris was courteous, he said he could do the job in 2 hours, maximum. Seven hours later, and with backup from Jared, also from Saddleback Plumbing, they had not found the leak. They cut EIGHT holes in my walls and caused other damage as well; three of the holes did not even uncover any plumbing. Jared was full of himself and said he was very sure the problem was in the sink, but when I asked him if he was positive, he said well, we checked everything else and didn't find the problem so it must be there. He also said that my hose bib had been moved from one location to another, and he was positive, again, saying every house like mine in the neighborhood had the hose bid under the bathroom window. He said that might be the source of the trouble. I jumped in my car and checked out two houses just like mine, both of which had hose bibs where mine is. I returned home in time to stop them from breaking through my stucco and told them both that the job was over, to leave. They were completely incompetent, and Jared was sure of everything. Later that afternoon, I was telling the story to my neighbor, and he said Chris had come to their house for a leak detection. After staring at the wall for hours, he never found anything. The next guy they called did it in minutes.
The next day a competent leak detection service found the leak in minutes, and it was NOT at the bathroom sink. Just say NO to Saddleback Plumbing. They are incompetent and destructive.
