Called Ruvalcaba Plumbing and left a message regarding a hot water heater problem with a Corona rental unit and Christian returned my call within minutes.  He quoted me a max estimate of $1100 if total replacement of water heater was required (quote at or below most other estimates I received from other plumbers) but believed it could well be repaired for much less.  My tenants were at work, so I requested he arrive at 4:00pm.  He showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermocouple and replaced it in less than one hour.  I was charged $150.  Other plumbers might well have gone right for the total water heater replacement.  I can't thank Christian enough for his willingness to work around my tenants' schedules and his superior level of service.  I highly recommend Ruvalcaba Plumbing to anyone needing an excellent plumber in the IE who will work to earn your business for the long haul.  Five enthusiastic stars!!

My tenant told me the kitchen sink was leaking. Cristian went to the house, told me need to replace the faucet and his labor cost. Then he went to Home Depot and sent me pictures of available faucets. I picked one and he went back to the house again, got the job done. He saved my time to go to the rental house. Both me and my tenant are satisfied with his service.

i had a  leak from upstairs that went through the ceiling downstairs to the kitchen. I called Cristian and he came out and assessed the damage. He did not find any active leaks but did everything he can to find out what was wrong. Although he did not find anything I was ready to pay for his time and effort. He said don't worry about it and I find that very nice. He was a consummate professional who is honest and who treats his customers well. Excellent service and extremely professional. We had a bad water leak on our water heater on a Saturday night. They came out right away and fixed the issue in 20 mins. I absolutely recommend them, and the price was reasonable for late night, on a Saturday, on a holiday weekend. I will defiantly use him again in the future!

I called this place after another company came in to check the shower in one of our bathrooms having issues with the water temperature.  The first big company plumber said that due to the age of our house (under 30 years), they don't make those faucets anymore so he wouldn't be able to find the cartridge needed to fix the problem and that the only thing they recommend was to replace the entire shower faucet with a Moen brand, which will cost me, $750 at first for the chrome finish, and later it's actually $775, but if I opted for the brushed nickel finish, it'll go up to like $825 or $875, almost the price of renovating the entire shower area with new tiles and a nice faucet of my choice!!! I paid him the $75 diagnostic cost and told him we'll have to think about it, so we said goodbye to my $75, as I called Ruvalcaba Plumbing and spoke with Christian.  Seemed like a very nice gentleman over the phone, so I told him the problem and he said, very easy to find the cartridge needed to fix the problem, therefore we asked if he would be able to come in.  He said he will, as soon as he is done with the job he was about to go to.  He even texted me back when he was running a little late with the time he scheduled.  He came in and checked the shower, left to get the needed cartridge at Home Depot, came back and showed us the receipt of the part, fixed the problem, and told us $126, including the part he bought. So we basically just paid him his labor and the exact material cost, which is what he told us on the phone, when I first talked to him.  Shower has the right temperature now, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get it to work.  I recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work.  Not highly priced like those big company guys.  He didn't have to show us the receipt of the part needed, and could have tripled or quadrupled it's cost, but he did, and that, to my book, is an honest, hard-working, good guy who has integrity, so I give him Five Stars and therefore, highly recommend him!!!

I had a leak in my drain pipe somewhere between the roof and the attic above my 2nd story bedroom.  Contacted Ruvalcaba Plumbing and Cristian came out and was  punctual and courteous.  He went up into the attic in the summer (well over 100 degrees) and identified the leak.  Came down, explained to me the problem and gave me a reasonable price to fix.  He performed the task and cleaned up the job site.  Very professional and hard working.  I would not hesitate to use Cristian again!

Both of our bathroom toilet were backed up due to a root blockage! Chris not only told us the problem he showed us the whole process with his HD monitor. Ruvalcaba Plumbing are my now go to company! Called on a Sunday where everyone was days out for appointments. The owner Christian was busy but made me priority first thing Monday morning! Came and did his thing with my clogged sink drain. Was done less than 35min and did a fantastic job! Was really impressed how everything was super clean when he left. Cristian at Rubalcava Plumbing did an excellent and flawless job installing a Rinnai tankless water at my home in Corona.  I would rate the level of difficulty of this job an 8 of 10 due to the amount of copper pipe he had to run as well as install and run a dedicated 3/4 gas line for the tankless.  He was very knowledgeable and professional, and provided me with a very competitive estimate.  He showed up promptly at 8 am and tirelessly yet cheerfully worked until 8 pm to ensure that I would not be without hot water overnight.  I highly recommend him for all plumbing needs.

Used Cristian for the second time.  Replaced a water heater.  Price was fair.  He took the old one out and put the new one in in about an hour and a half.  Thank you.  We will call if we need him again.

My main water valve was leaking and called several different plumbers for quotes. Ruvalcaba was most definitely the least expensive and was quick to get out to my home. Cristian was very nice on the phone, called when he was running late.  Cleared the main drain.  The problem appeared to be handled, approx 8 days later the line backed up.  Cristian told me up front before he went out to the job that his work was guaranteed.  Short version, he gave me no options for the problem and told me that he dose not work for free.  I was given no explanation of what his guarantee consisted of. This conversation was after 3 texts and a call (no voicemail).

I won't be using him again...Think twice

Christian came out on Sunday to install a filter under our sink. He was on time and very professional. All equipped. There was a small leak under our sink after he left. We called back and he was back in less than an hour to check it out and tighten up a hose. Definitely will recommend and will be a repeat customer! Thank you!!!

Had a water main shut off valve leaking. I got in touch with Christian at Ruvalcaba Plumbing. He came over on time and replaced the valve with a new updated one. Will use him again for all my plumbing needs. Left the area clean and neat.

Christian was awesome, took me as a last minute appointment. We had a leak in our main sprinkler valve and once contacted he replied back within 10 minutes.

He came out this morning after another appointment and let me know way in advanced that he might be a little late but was still punctual. He was diligent about making sure the job was perfect start to finish.

I just had the pleasure of having Christian of Ruvalcaba Plumbing, come and take care of my plumbing issues. The sinks in my upstairs bathroom were clogged and he knew exactly what to do. He explained the whole process and was successful in unclogging my sinks. Hooray!! In addition, Christian was very clean and careful, along with being fair and reasonable in his pricing. Christian arrived right on time. He was polite and courteous. The pressure of my shower was low, and embarrassingly enough, the problem was only that my shower head was plugged with hard water deposits. He cleaned it out, and then checked my overall house water pressure. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said nothing! Imagine, an honest guy! He didn't try to upsell me, and he could have charged me for the housecall. I appreciate honesty! I will definitely call him next time I need a plumber!

I had a bathroom plumbing issue (partial clog lowest part of house back room) and it was just beyond my repair tools and skills. This happened late on a Saturday afternoon when I had company about to arrive (Of course it did!). I called my now former go to plumbing companies that advertise they are 24/7 but nope not one could make it before Monday and one of them not until Tuesday. I searched for someone local to the Corona area, called Ruvalcaba Plumbing and Christian answered his own phone (surprising these days and much appreciated!) He was on the way to another job but was sure he could be here in about 90 minutes AND HE WAS! He did good work at the stated reasonable price, was patient with my questions, took the time to check that the repair was  working properly and just did an all around wonderful job. He is a real Plumbing tradesman not some 'rooter guy with a big impersonal company.  Call Ruvalcaba Plumbing!

This repair required  him to open up the drywall and replace an old cracked cast iron pipe with an ABS pipe.  The second time I used him was  to replace a water heater for me. My 17 year old water heater was begging me to put it out of its misery. The time had come and I diligently investigated plumbing services to do the replacement and settled on Ruvalcaba Plumbing because of their responsiveness to Yelp inquiries about price, models, timing, etc. I set up an appointment with Cristian on Yelp. He was personable, knowledgeable, competent, prompt and overall, completely satisfactory in all respects. Price was fair and, in fact, better than most competitors. I would recommend his services and will use those services in the future at my house.

Watch out for this guy.  Make sure you are very explicit with him regarding the contract and have a signed agreement.  He is very unprofessional and does not provide a written contract.  He will cut holes in your drywall and will not patch it.  That's not my job  is his response.  He claimed that he has years of experience, but if you look up his biz, he has been doing it for only 1 year.  I tried to look up his license number but could not locate it.  Again, be very careful with this guy as he is very shady and put nothing in writing.

Came out to house on short notice . Replaced tub spout on new bathroom that had been done incorrectly. After the work was completed,I expected to find tile scratched and dirty. Job was spotless and done professionally. Will use them again , recommend these gents for your plumbing needs.Good Job !
