Alex is a excellent service tech. Very friendly and personable. Once we told Alex what the problem was he inspected the sewer lines and found the problem. Alex explained everything he was going to do and how long it was going to take to complete. He finished on time and even sweep the front sidewalk. We couldn't have asked for better service tech. We highly recommend Alex.

Plumbers Joe and Tyler T repiped and line that had been leaking in our kitchen. They did a great job and kept me informed throughout the process. They finished on time and within the quoted amount. I would fully recommend their services.

The technician was amazing he's a really nice guy. I hate to post this complaint because he was so nice. But there were a few problems that I don't think should go unsaid about. First of all there should've been coverings over my floor my countertops my stove and my utensils everything was filthy with layers of white dust it took me over an hour just to clean it and I'm still working on it. Secondly I was told my garbage disposal was cracked and then I would have to replace it and they quoted me $495 additional we went ahead and I purchased a garbage disposal while the technician was on his break at Costco and we came back he informed me he probably did crack the garbage disposal because it fell twice while he was working on it. by the way there wasn't any problems or leaks from the garbage disposal before the service. Chalked it up to things happen not a problem. but I have to say my brand new stainless steel sink has scratches on it already! they small but there's scratches and there's also a dent on the corner. He did mention that dent to me saying it came out of the box that way but he didn't tell me that until after the sink was installed so I'm guessing it would've been said prior to that and brought to my attention. FYI,   I was home all day while the repairs were going on I was just on the patio and around doing things around my house . Oh yeah, the caulking around the sink is crappie not ok at all, flaking everywhere.  The more I write the more I find things wrong to talk about. I went with Roto-Rooter as I thought it would be a more professional company than one of the smaller plumbing companies in the area and I'm sorry I did so. I definitely did not get what I paid for.

Sewer line 8 feet down was broken at my recently purchased mobile home.  I called a bunch of plumbers.  The first one hit me with a super high bid.  Some said the job was too big, another was going to use a back hoe which the water dept rep said would be a disaster with all the utility lines running through.  One plumber thought it was so deep it would have to be shored up somehow, more than he wanted to take on so he suggested I call Roto Rooter.  I thought Roto Rooter just did drain snaking but their website said they do everything including commercial contracts.  When an answering service took my call I really didn't expect much.  But then answering service called back to let me know they were on their way.  The guys came out within an hour and knew immediately what had to be done.  They gained my confidence right away by letting me know they'd done these types of repairs before.  There was no access outside so they ran a camera line down a sink and isolated the exact spot where the break was.  Their price was lower than 2 other plumbing contractors.  Tony got right to work.  Cut into the cement driveway, much smaller than I thought it would be.  He found a 2nd break once he got down there so total cost was a little more but very fair.   He worked for 6 hours straight and when he finished, the access was installed, the cement was poured, and everything was cleaned up and swept.  I am so impressed with this company.  They are honest, hard working, professional and fair.  This is the place to call for any plumbing needs.

Submitted a request for a quote this morning and received a rapid response from Roto-Rooter. They scheduled a consultation within 3 hrs and kept us informed when the plumber would be arriving via text. Travis arrived and immediately greeted us with a smile while being courteous and professional. He evaluated the problem, then let us know there would be a diagnostic cost , then   explained the necessary steps he would take to repair and last provided an estimate. From the beginning, I knew he genuinely cared and respected the decisions of his customers, just by our gut feeling. Thank you very much Travis for being such a great asset to this company.

Josiah came with his supervisor Jonathan. They looked at what I needed and provided a fair estimate on a new hot water install in my older home. Josiah is an excellent technician and worked diligently to get my water heater in.

Our kitchen sink had backed up! Roto Rooter sent a technician out quickly! Joshua was super helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions without hesitation and explained all our options going forward. Joshua worked quickly and efficiently. We appreciate him coming out to fix our sink!!

I don't even know where to begin. I am a property manager in San Diego. I manage a property in Murrieta that needed the septic tank pumped. JR (a technician with Roto Rooter) showed up on site and gave me a quote for the work to be done: Jetting the drains and pumping the septic tank. After he jetted the drains and pumped the tank he told me that I needed to replace the drain lines. WHAT? Then why did I just spend $450 for you to jet them? They never restored service for the two bathrooms on the property and I ended up having to call another plumber (Jose with AM PM Plumbing did a great job) after I had already paid Roto Rooter $1000! They told my tenant, my supervisor and me different stories of why they did not finish the work, none of which added up to anything other than they wanted to get as much money out of us as possible.

Bottom line, these guys are shisters and will try and rip you off. I very strongly recommend using a different company.

Just had a front lawn water leak fixed. Called today and got service within 4 hours. The technician Jonathan Manalang, was very professional, knowledgeable, and had excellent communication skills. Was able to identify the problem immediately. Little did I know, the repair was under warranty. It cost me zero dollars. Thank you Jonathan, very pleased with the job done.

Had a main water leak on the 4th of July. Travis W came out within the hour. He did a great job!  He is professional and hard working!  Would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!

We contact them to fix our water heater. Scheduled to arrive between 10-2, did not show up until 8 pm!

DO NOT use ROTO ROOTER OF TEMECULA if you expect professional, timely service. They showed up over 2.5 hours late last night to pump our overflowing septic tank. We called both listed numbers several times to get an update and we just got a continuous quick busy signal. So we left at almost 9 pm. They called when the tech showed up and we were already at a birthday party. The dispatcher told us that the tech would be there at 7 the next morning (SUNDAY!) My husband was there at 6:45. The tech didn't show up until 8:32. My husband told him he was displeased and would be contacting his supervisor, and the tech got in his truck and drove away. Then the dispatcher called me and told me that Dusty had sent him away...a lie. The tech also told Dusty that he purposely showed up late to pay us back for standing him up last night! UNREAL! $600! We stopped payment on our check and hell can freeze over before they get their money.

Alex was amazing!  He was professional, explained the problem so I would understand, and kept in touch by text on when he would show up. He explained how to keep my drains clear of future clogs!  I learned some new information. Thanks!

I called Roto router to replace a cartridge in my shower the lady Connie said someone would call me in one hour it was well over an hour I called back The girl said someone would call within an hour the second time 2 1/2 hours later Travis shows up he sits outside digging in his nose in his van then he comes in the house no mask no gloves and no booties on his boots he had to go back and put those items on then he comes in the house looks at the leaking Moen shower cartridge and says $700 but we have a good financial plan we said no thank you thanks for coming out that's too expensive we went to Home Depot and bought the same exact part for $29 install the cartridge our self it only took 10 minutes that is ridiculous $700 for a 10 minute job I went on YouTube and watch videos and did it ourselves thanks for nothing rotor rooter I said what I said hopefully this is within the guidelines this is my experience with this company

Had a broken bathroom faucet. Called Roto Rooter Hemet. Was charged 1,049.00 to replace. The price was exorbitant, the time taken to replace was 2.5 hours. Seems like a long time to replace a faucet and an angle stop to me. The new faucet had a markup price over what you would pay in a store. I don,t know if Andrew was new or not, but seems like a long time to me to replace a faucet. The owner of the residence has Alzheimers and was asked to sign a contract, when it was obvious the resident was not mentally competent to sign any type of legally binding contract. There are a lot of GOOD plumbers out there, just be careful who you call. Get full price and time estimate before you agree to anything. Buyer Beware!

I reached out to Roto-Rooter on Monday to schedule a plumber for a simple faucet replacement. Should be a half-hour job.  I was advised to call them to schedule and appointment.  I called and was scheduled to have a plumber come on Tuesday morning (today).  At 9:10 Tuesday morning, I received a text message telling me that there were a lot of delays in the area and that they were projecting that the plumber would be here by 1:00.  At 1:26, another text that they were offering to make me first priority on Wednesday morning.  I responded that I have better things to do than to wait all day for them to do what they promised to do.  I added that if they didn't have someone here by 3:00, that they should never contact mt again.  They quickly responded that there was a technician in the area who was just finishing a job and that he would be here between 2:30 and 3:30.  I received a call at 3:00 telling me that the technician was on the way.  He showed up, took a minute to look at the job and told me that he'd have to have an estimate written, but the minimum charge is $350.  I already had an estimate from another plumber for $185, so I asked the Roto Rooter tech to leave.  The experience was a waste of my day.  They could have simply told me about their ridiculous minimum charge and I would have been able to spend my day doing something other than feeling foolish for calling these people.  A rip-off business exploiting folks who don't know any better.  DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY.

Quick response time but to unclog toilet 250 quote offered 150. Mgr said 165.  I said I pass  Tech was nice guy

Joe came out first thing in the morning and really went above and beyond to help us fix our plumbing issues. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

About a month ago our shower was leaking quite a bit in a second house we have on our property. We figured it just needed new gaskets.
Hubby tried to fix it, but couldn't get the handles off. It was Saturday, and the only plumber
we could get out was R.R.
Joe showed up around an hour after I called. Super nice and friendly, like one of the family.
He went back to look at the leak. He came up to the main house to talk to my husband and me, and this is where he worked his magical RR plumber language on us
He said I can't do any thing today, I have no parts on my truck. We have to wait for the Master Plumbers on Monday.
The cost: The price starts at $375.00. That is to remove  and replace the handles, gaskets, etc. Here is where it gets really good. He says if they run into trouble once they get in there
and have to go in through the outside wall, then were talking minimum of $795.00 and up.
Scare tactics, oh my yes, for unsuspecting seniors, not us.
My husband and I sat there in amazement shaking our heads.
Good old Joe left,  I was going to call a local plumber on Monday and see what kind of a deal we could get with Pierce plumbing. He had been out before to fix the same kind of leak in
our kitchen. $75.00 Pricey, but not $400.00 to who knows how high.
My husband went to work on Monday, and ran into a licensed contractor he knew.
They started talking about our leaky shower, and he told my husband what to do
to fix the problem.
Hubby bought the part, for $11.00. It took him less than 2 minutes to install it, and guess what....no more leaky shower.
My warning to anyone needing a plumber on the week-end  is, don't panic and try to wait until the following Monday to call in a local plumber, They are much less expensive, and won't
use scare tactics on you.
Rotor Rooter, in my opinion, is not really a plumbing company. They are drain cleaners.
That's why they don't carry any parts on their trucks.
We had them out about 5 years ago, to fix a plugged up drain in the kitchen, in the same little house.
They told us, they would have to clean out the main line. Ok, but were a little iffy on the price, because they didn't know what kind of trouble they might run into. Does that sound familiar?
This is a very small house. Around 350 sq. feet. Not much main line to clean, right?
Final bill $795.00. For less than half an hours work, and this was 5 years ago.
Consumers....beware.

Joshua did an excellent and professional job with my clogged up kitchen sink.  He explained to me what he was doing with all the patience and calmness you don't see in young people today.  I will request Joshua next time for sure.

The area drain in the back yard was not draining due to root invasion. Joe was very professional and worked very hard to find the right pathway if the underground pipe. He did not give up when it seemed that it would be impossible, and with his persistence he was successful at clearing it! I would definitely recommend for anyone battling a plumbing issue. I had a really good experience with the two men that came out to fix a problem for me Both were professional and explained everything well to me about what they had to do  Jesse was a very good natured guy actually both were good. It was a relief to have them come out.

Our tub had been clogged and nothing helped (draino, store bought drain snake, etc).  Water wouldn't go down at all.  Joshua came out on time and was very professional throughout.  Costs were explained prior to any work done.  He was able to get the clog cleared and, in my opinion, went the extra mile by going under the house to make sure that there were no breaks or leaks in the pipe he had just cleared.  He explained everything and pointed out suggestions for future work but was not pushy.  Highly recommended and worth the price.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and they were very fast at getting back to us for an appointment. Our technician Josh R was SUPER! He was polite, kind, and extremely professional. He showed us where the problem was and told us how to prevent it in the future. We will definitely call them again and ask for Josh!

Get TRAVIS W!! If you call to make an appointment you have to ask for Travis. He showed up within an hour of calling for an appointment, came in accessed and explained everything. Gave me three different options to handle my issue and was so helpful! Guarantee I will always use Roto Rooter for as long as Travis W is my agent.

Our upstairs shower would not get hot water, so we had assumed that none of our fixtures on the second floor would be getting hot water either. A previous plumber failed to diagnose the issue on a specific shower and left us without answers. We scheduled Roto Rooter online and had two technicians, Nicole and Nick, to come out and take a look. They were great! They were thorough, efficient, and communicative as they tested every fixture in the house. They identified that there were only two fixtures not getting hot water and diagnosed the problem in no time. They explained the mechanisms at work to help me understand the problem and how they fixed it. We no longer have any issues thanks to Nicole and Nick!

While the plumbers were very nice, they said that my water heater needed a new pilot assembly to the tune of $735 and it would take a week to get the part in.  Not wanting to face the prospect of a week's worth of cold showers I called a local company for a second opinion.  The local company was at my house within 5 minutes of my phone call, replaced the thermocouple, which they had in-stock, and 20 minutes later my water heater worked perfectly - to the tune of only $143.

Would not recommend.

This is to get the word out to people who may encounter an accident with a Roto Rooter work truck. Be aware that it will take FOREVER to hear back from their insurance (I am still waiting), and they don't even provide the correct information on their insurance cards so they're practically impossible to contact.
I got rear ended last month and still have made no progress in my claim, their company has shown me how irresponsible they are and that I will never be using their services. My cracked bumper is still waiting to be fixed........
SKETCHY AND BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES

On this Sunday, I came home to find a leaking pipe in my garage.  I shut off the water and called some friends for plumber referrals.  I called the first referral but no one answered/just voicemail (and I'm still waiting for a call back.)  Anyhow, I called the second referral which was Roto Rooter as my friend told me he used them on Thanksgiving Day when a similar situation happened  and they weren't charged extra for coming out on the the holiday.  Doesn't look like I was charged extra for weekend servbice either which is nice.  Anyhow, they committed to have someone there within 2 hours and said they would call when the tech was in route.  They did just that and he was there within 1 hour of my initial call.  The tech, Saul, was very polite and professional.  He said the matter would be fixed within the hour...and it was.  I was very pleased with their services.

Absolute 5 star service! Main water line broke  in the front yard. Rotor Rooter was here an hour later ...gave an estimate and Jonathan Finished everything in 2 hours after that!! Digging fixing and backfilling with a perfect repair and all that AFTER NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS!!

ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECCOMENDED!!!

We just moved in and had a washer installed, used it twice and it was OK third time it flooded our laundry room so we called Jo. It was a same-day service and Jo was able to find the clog and unclog it. Joe was very professional and very knowledgeable and kept us informed on everything he was doing. I would totally recommend using Roto Rooter and call Joe. Thanks to Joe he saved the day!

Amazing! Hugo is the best and most honest plumber I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. His manager Alex Gamboa is very lucky to have him as an employee.

We called Hugo to fix a running toilet, he was so friendly and honest we called him the next day to replace our water regulator (he charged us 65% less than 2 other companies quoted us for it), then we called him the following week to replace our sink faucet

We literally stop holding off on the plumbing issues we had been putting off just because Hugo was so honest and friendly. Now we only request him. Great service!!

I was concerned about a leak in my shower pipes, I was told that my entire mobile home needed to be repiped and was quoted $6400, or $3200 just to replace the pipes for my shower/kitchen sink. Keep in mind, only my shower was leaking and the pipes under my house are relatively new. Got a second opinion and it turned out to be a small crack in the cold water line that sprayed while the shower was running. Very easy and very inexpensive to fix (and no cutting drywall like the man had mentioned). With everything going on with COVID19 I am shocked at this level of price gouging. Always get a second opinion.

Joe T. came out today for a clogged kitchen sink and he was awesome even when something flew out at him that we didn't know what it was. Lol.. While he was here I asked about a few other drain issues we had and he was more then happy see what he could do. We just purchased the house last month so alot of unknowns. He started near the pool and the jigsaw puzzle began, after going 75 ft. he found where it was blocked, so he started from the other end. It was over 100° today and he was moving dirt and rocks and everything in the way on the lower property to find it.. HE FOUND IT.. IT was 18 ft of tree roots in the pipes.
I thought it would never end..  Just amazing and all with a smile and a laugh. Heck he is here so let's see the front yard...This was only 2 drains..we thought.. Joe ended up finding 3 other drains that were buried in sand and it took forever to get them all clear, we now have clear running water in all of the drainage on the property.
I am still in awe of all the work that was done by Joe today and in the horrible heat and so very professional and explained everything along the way.
I could not have asked for a better Plumber.. An amazing work ethic..

I was under the impression that Roto-Rooter had integrity and was a very well respected business in the community. After what I experienced I would never recommend this plumbing company. The district manager I sent a letter to the Roto-Rooters ceo in that is in charge of the local franchises and never heard a response back.

I called Roto-Rooter in the evening because there was a leak that we were unable to locate. We had to shut off the water to prevent further flooding. I specifically asked the representative on the phone if the plumber can perform leak detection after describing the urgent situation, in which she replied yes. But when the plumber (surprisingly he has 5/5 star reviews) arrived, he said he did not bring leak detection equipment. He essentially repeated what I said I have done to try to locate the leak, and was eager to charge $79 to shut off the already turned off shut-off valve. He then proudly went on to say that someone can do the leak detection in the morning when the nearby Roto-Rooter office opens for $950.

It is difficult to find good, reliable service companies and people.

Travis W. was very helpful when he repaired our kitchen sink. He was thorough and efficient, leaving no mess behind and finishing in a quick, timely manner. Would be pleased to have him back to fix any problems in the future. Thanks Travis!

I had to call Roto-Rooter because a cartridge was stuck in a valve. Charles arrived shortly after and was professional, helpful and informative. He provided an estimate for best case and worst case scenarios before getting started and was patient and answered all of my questions. He did a great job removing and replace in the cartridge, and was done in no time. Overall, it was a smooth experience. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs.

Had a leak under my kitchen sink and Joe llT from Roto Rooter came out pretty quick. The leak was from the hose on the sprayer from my faucet. He tightened it up and it was fixed. He then checked a spigot out out that was also leaking. He tightened it up and that was it.  What amazed me was that he wrote it up as a courteously and didn't charge me. WHO DOES THAT? I was so surprised and grateful. I know they don't do that all the time, but I will definitely use them again.

In case anyone does not know a fair cost to have your toilet line snaked $750 is an astronomical and gouging price.  I could not be home when Roto Rooter came and very strongly feel that they took advantage of my girlfriend who assumed we were getting a fair an honest price.  

Two stars for fixing the problem which was toilet paper at about 30ft into the line.  I understand that the price was said upfront before service but again she had no idea what it should have cost and with an established company as large as Roto-Rooter you would think you would be getting a fair price.  

I called the corporate office to discuss the absurdity of the cost with Roto-Rooter which someone called me later in the day.  They started to tell me that the cost breakdown included a $450 visit fee (noting this was in the middle of the work day in the middle of a major metropolitan city).  $450 to show up???  Not $450 to show up and actually do something, just get in the door.  Are you guys kidding me?  $300 to snake the line which is still a lot but for convenience of having it taken care of when you don't have the time to deal with it yourself, fine.  

After he told me the cost to show up was $450 I asked him if he thought that might be a bit questionable and the line dropped.  No follow up call from them to see why the line dropped.  I called corporate back and have left a message and still no reply from them.

I suppose after establishing themselves as a well established company Roto-Rooter has decided to establish themselves as a company that gouges those that would not be aware of their outlandish fees otherwise.

Beware, the RotoRooter out of Hemet overcharged right away on our credit card, and I am currently in communication with the corporate offices for Roto Rooter about the fraud.
Update:  The head corporation instructed them to settle and we got refunded in part with a small portion as decided by the owner of the local franchise.

Another company came in and did the work that these people charged for,  but did not know how to do properly.  Plus they fixed it for 1/3 of what was charged by those scam artists.

I called rotorooter for a free estimate service to unclock the sink. I repeatly mentioned that please makesure that this is free of charge estimation. Please call me back with an estimate and do not start the work until you hear from me. Igave them my son name who stayed there temporarily, who will let the technician in. Monday (the 19th 2022), i didnot hear from them. i called my son and asked what happened. My son said they did the work and asked for $400.00. They told myson that I requested them to do the work. I got furious and kept calling them back, demanding to get the refund as i did notauthozied them to do the work. I kept calling an they gave me the run-around and finally told me sorry they cannot refund themoney. This is an unethical and dishonest business practice as they had lied in conducting their business. Please help me with this matter as they acted like there is nothing I can do about as they already did the service. Also, they knew that this is not fixing (as they told my son) the problem, it will happen again and they proceeded to do the work without my consent in order to charge $400 for it.
Can you imagine?  i did not want to pay for the estimate and they went ahead and charge $400 for a snake job that someone else charge me $80 previously.  Just so everyone know, I did file a complaint against this company for this on the goverment Fraudulent act website. You can review it for your self.

Over priced. Simple leak. I was totally misled- Marc told me water damage was serious and my ENTIRE bathroom would need to be ripped out and remodeled and called a 3rd party company (YGM) to come test for mold that he said was surely there. Mold guy took one look and said no mold. Marc's supervisor came out and took one look and said no water damage. My insurance claim was then canceled and then I was stuck with bills that I was told I would NOT have to pay. Not sure if he's bad at his job or if I was tricked into a bunch of unnecessary costs.

Joe was great and fixed plumbing issue but I should have/could have done it myself. $820 was way too expensive for this fix.

I will NEVER use this company again. Don't trust them, especially Marc.

I hadn't had them here since 2004 and they are still as curtious, on time and efficient as always. I had the pleasure of having Johnathan Manalang and he was great and very honest, very polite person, thank you so much

I Called out roto rooter Hemit to clear a main line drain.  I had it fully exposed  easy access.  The tech came out wanted 250 to clear it.  I said Ok.  another tech calls me back saying we need to Hydro Jet for and additional 750.  I declined because I knew it was an easy fix.  Call another plumber He snaked the drain in 1/2 hour for $150.  I feel like they were trying to scam me with a song and dance, plus I'm out the $250.

We have a drain problem and contacted them for assistance.  These people worked for two days to discover the problem and showed us where the major issue was in the pipeline.  I have never seen two guys work (Alex and Mario) so hard to please the Customer.  Each step in the process we had the opportunity to review with them so we can understand the problem.  It likely I will hire them to fix the problem in the pipeline.  If you need plumbing, services call these people FIRST!

Ten o'clock on a school/work night and both toilets started spewing fecal sewage. The mess was slowly oozing across our new flooring, soaking rugs and baseboards. Panicked and tired we called Roto-Rooter. The phone was answered by a live person and within thirty minutes Marco arrived like a knight in shining armor. He took in the situation and said, If I can't fix this, nobody can. Joined by a couple of others, Marco and his crew had stopped the overflow and cleaned up the wet floors immediately. The next morning they arrived with more workers to disinfect and assess the damage. I don't know what we would have done without their quick-thinking, professional, courteous, and empathetic reaction. No other is better!

We were having our house appraised on a Monday. The Saturday before, two sinks backed up and smelly water was in the laundry room and kitchen sink. I knew it was a weekend and a local plumber that I called never called back. RotoRooter said they will come on weekends. I asked for an appt for Sunday and it was available. Jesse and Gio showed up early Sunday. They were professional, nice and pleasant to work with. Jesse did his best to try to keep it within our budget and even went beyond the call of duty in his service. I do not know what a regular plumber would charge for this service, but we were in a bind with the appraiser coming on Monday morning. We would recommend them.

If there have 0 start they will get 0, 2 years ago(I know it has been a long time). They were here to unclog my drain. They told me they can sent a free camera to look at the problem, but if you let them to sent a camera to you and you know wanna fix with them, they charge you more than 200.  I was asking the guy, if we can use high pressure jetting to clean our drain, he said no, our pipe to small. And on this week We just did that. Their are very unprofessional.

Jesse S. provided great customer service. Pleasant, knowledgeable and on-time. He also provided tips and showed me how to replace valves and flappers should I go that route in the future. Roto-Rooter did a great job hiring this guy.   Thanks again Jesse.

So we had a major issue on a Sunday at about 1:30 pm. Husband tried to figure it out, but after 30 min of water backing up into our home with every try, we called Roto-Rooter. Jesse was here within the hour. Immediately told us what he thought was the issue and got to work. Sure enough he was right. Took care of us quickly and stuck around to make sure all was well even after the work. Definitely recommend them, especially Jesse.

Charlie came to my home and did excellent work. Charlie was professional and freindly. Next time I need plumbing work done I will request Charlie!

The technician Juan S. Did a great job in a reasonable amount of time. He was competent and cordial.

Lies and scare tactics!   I had a main line blockage that needed to be cleared.   They did that with no real problems.   However, the told me that the back flow valve was bad and had to be replaced immediately or the drain would just plug up again within days.  I could have them do the work for just$1400.  They even said that they would apply today's work to the bill.   Then they went on to explain that the part alone was $800 and if we did not have it replaced any flooding would not be covered by insurance.   This all started sounding like high pressure scare tactics.   I called a different plumber for a second opinion.   He explained that the part needed was only $30 and was optional.  

Don't trust anything this company tells you.

Main drain clogged!  Called Roto  Rooter and Joe responded.  Joe has done some work for me before and I have not seen anyone work harder than he does.  This time,  he arrived around 9:30pm.  Has no problem working long hours to get the customer taken care of.  Joe cleared the problem and made arrangements to come over the next day to install a new kitchen faucet.  He even shopped for the right one to go with a new portable dishwasher I was expecting.  
Joe came over early the next day and installed the new faucet for me and I love it, by the way!  He just knew it would be perfect and it was.  
I highly recommend Joe from Roto Rooter for any plumbing job you need done.  He really gives it his all.

I called Roto-Rooter and received the best service ever!  On time, fair prices and the serviceman Joe even cleaned up my tub and shower for me before he left.  Very professional and honest.

It's probably cheaper to hire your attorney to unclog your toilet. $480 for a 30 minute unclog job. I don't think so.

Jerry came out on an emergency call because our sewer backed up into the shower after flushing the toilet. It was after hours about 6:30 and he was already working on another job. When he came out, he immediately went to work and snaked out the problem and used a camera, which showed overgrown roots into the pipe at the street end, but enough on our side of the property that it was our problem. He worked out in the rain for a couple of hours and said he would be back the next day when he could see something in the daylight. He had to call on another employee, Oscar, to help him the next day as they were working on multiple jobs. Oscar hand-dug out the pipe area near the street and it was actually 6 feet down. He used a shovel-like tool that could break up the hard dirt, rock and asphalt and brought that with him Friday. Oscar worked out in the pouring rain in the dark for a couple of hours. I thought he had gone home, but he was still out there doing his job. Saturday, 2 other guys came out from a different company and put a huge sock (40 ft) around the street pipe opening and then they shot epoxy down through it. That took about 3 hours. The epoxy had to be mixed and put through the sock-like tubing and shot out of a cannon-looking machine to push it through. It's actually called a cannon. It also had to be heated to about 150 degrees and they used water as well. It's used as an insulation the coats the sewer piping and prevents roots from getting in. The entire process took about 4 hours. I was really amazed at the process these guys had to do to finish this job. It's fixed now and we're happy. It should last another 20 years! The price started out at $4,000 and went to $10,000 but when I stood out there with the guys to take pics and mark their progress, they really earned it.

After living in our Murrieta home for 4 years the drain lines completely stopped up. They had been gargling for weeks, off and on. Then, today they totally clogged up. I did what I could do but with no success. So, I contacted our local 'Roto-Rooter'. Within an hour of calling, Hugo and his supervisor, Riccardo arrived to resolve the problem. Both introduced themselves and began to work. First, Hugo located the sewer line clean out. He ran his electric snake as far as he could until it wouldn't go any further. The line was definitely clogged. So, Riccardo  set up his camera equipment to determine the problem. Within minutes all of us could see the build up of a grease like substance. The snake would not budge it. They recommended using a Hydro Jett high pressure unit to clean the entire line out under the house and out to EMWD's main sewer line. BTW, this service is not cheap but anything done right usually does require the best equipment and employees to resolve. We agreed, Hugo went back to the company yard, picked up the JETT and returned in a timely manner..  It only took a little over a half hour to successfully clean our entire sewer line. In addition, he cleaned out to the street. All is well. A job well done. Thanks to both Hugo and Riccardo. We also appreciate the senior discount,

I live in Sun City in the The core.These homes in my neighbourhood were built in the 60s and have cast iron plumbing Buried 3 feet deep beneath the Concrete slab. What a plumbing nightmare it has been! One thing after another. The last three disasters I have called ROTO ROOTER to the rescue. They have been Prompt and courteous and professional. I don't think they are the least expensive plumbing company but the people are top-notch

Shortly after moving into our new home, we discovered a water leak that had been for a long time. We contacted the company affiliated with our home owner warranty. They came out and did the minimal repair for a $50 service fee. The problem was not corrected so we opted to call Roto Rooter. The plumber who came out assessed the problem and replaced all pipes and fittings.  He was very fast, efficient and reasonable.
We would definitely use them again.

We suddenly had to have all of our drainage replaced. Roto-Rooter came out the following day, checked everything out, and gave us our estimate. Chris was very helpful with getting us financed and taken care of. Joe T and Josh were out the following two days. They worked non stop to get the job done, we're very respectful of us, our time, and property. They made a stressful situation a lot easier. We would definitely recommend them. Everything appears to be working well. They also worked in a way that permitted us to always have a bathroom in working condition, so we didn't have to stay in a hotel during the job. We greatly appreciated being able to remain in our home throughout the process.

Pete was my technician and was a pleasant easy guy to talk to. Instead of speaking in plumbing he just made them easy to understand. He did some quick troubleshooting and found the problem fast, attacked it and solved it. I would trust the work ethic and expertise Pete bring to the task at hand.I will be return customer.

Late Friday night and the we have a major issue with our toilets.  This is not something you wait until Monday to call the plumber about.  So we had to call Roto-Rooter.  They came out and did a good job.  Our plumber (who is very good and reasonably priced) was horrified when he learned that they were charging us more than $3,000 for something he would have done for $900.  So we felt a bit like our bank account got roto-rootered, but that's the price you pay for after-hours service I guess.  That's the only reason I didn't give them more stars.  It's always better to have a plumber you know and trust do the work if possible.  These guys did a good job, but the bill was usurious.

So the shoddy job the local Roto Rooter franchise did last year busted today. The main water line cracked at the valves and the joints have come undone. It was literally flooding the street.  We had no choice but to turn off the water to the house. Their response, Not having water isn't an emergency. We can come out Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. Called corporate Roto Rooter. Their response, They're a franchise.  We can't help you. Now I have to pay another plumbing company to come out and fix their shoddy work.  Those that live in the Hemet and San Jacinto Valley, don't hire Roto Rooter. They  do a poor job and won't correct their mistakes.  Hire a reputable company. 110 degrees with no water isn't an emergency to Roto Rooter.
