He came out within a couple of hours and gave me a great deal. Fixed the issue super fast and answered my questions.
I called R Power for a consultation for landscape lighting. I received a quick response and was able to set up a visit the next day. They showed up on time and were very helpful. Roobik and his coworker evaluated the problem and offered a solution. He was able to fix the problem within a couple of hours, including doing a supply run. Everything was fixed (entrance lights and landscape lighting that I didn't know were there). Also the interaction between the two was very respectful. Roobik was very helpful whenever he asked his employee to complete a task. They worked very well together. That evening, he contacted me to be sure everything was working as expected. I recently utilized R Power Services for a few outdoor light fixtures, bathroom vent fans, recessed light, and 240V plug for my garage for an EV Charger. Roobik was absolutely straight forward, very honest with his quotes, and i feel like i've met my future go-to guy for anything electrical related. I didn't even bother pricing around with anyone else. He came over for the initial quote, we schedule a few weeks there after, during the process we hit a few bumps that increased the cost, but was fully communicated and explained. I felt in good hands with Roobik. His assistant (i forgot his name), but was the most polite and friendly person i've met. A+ to his assistant as well!
Everything was knocked out in one day, they swept, cleaned, and protected my property as if it was their own. I would highly recommend R Power Services for any electrical needs.

Hard to find honest electrician who is transparent. He arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. Although we didn't get his service, he gave honest recommendation which saved us money. Thank you!
Since So Cal Edison has all these programs going to upgrade or replace older electric appliances, I decided to replace my 40 year old water heater through one of their programs. The problem is that my house is over 100 years old, and the wiring isn't exactly up to modern standards. As a result, even though the installation itself went smoothly, the water heater kicked out before it was able to heat a single tank of water.
When the installers came back a day and a half later, they said it was a problem with the wiring and washed their hands of it. That was when I started making phone calls.
Roobik was the first electrician to respond, and he made it his personal imperative to come by that same day to try and figure out the problem so I could have hot water again. He arrived when he said he would. He was courteous and professional. We discussed likely causes of the problem, and he was able to coax my ancient wiring into sending enough power to my shiny new water heater so it could do its job. He also touched base after he left to make sure everything was working properly. That genuine concern for the well being of others was the icing on the cake.
I already knew that I have funky wiring in my house, and now that I know about Roobik, I'm making plans and looking at my budget so I can send more business his way.
They called back immediately to ask about the job. They came the next day and completed things quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone.

My front outdoor outlets weren't working when I moved into my home. It's been on my to do list for two years and today is the day to check it off my long list. The owner came out did his investigating and found what the problem was and fixed it. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Our pool pump went out and I realized my GFCI outlet was not working. Thinking it was a small job, I went on YouTube to find a solution (bad idea). After hours of research and dismantling the outlet and power switch, I was left with a big old mess.
Reached out to Roobik, and he came out to investigate in less than 24 hours. After sharing his proposed solution and a fair quote, he got the relevant material within the week and installed a new housing unit that included using the GFCI outlet that i mangled and installed a new switch.
It's great to have someone who is responsive and effective, especially when it comes to your electrical system. So much better than YouTube!
So in short, trust Roobik, not YouTube!

He came with his helper and took an old round vent and replaced with a new square vent, cut precisely perfect ~wow, thank you Roobik! We needed the outlet behind our dishwasher fixed so we hired R Power. Since they were coming out to fix that, we decided to get some other electrical work around the house done as well. They were clean, efficient and honest and we will definitely be using their services again.

Mr. Roobik was very punctual, patience and well experienced, offering his advise for multiples questions and projects I was asking for. Their prices are very very reasonable and there are no corners cut. Roobik is awesome! We had a main breaker that failed in our main electrical panel, I called R Power on a Friday night, Roobik answered off my first call and was at the house within an hour. He temporarily arranged to keep the fridge working and have some power. The next morning, Saturday, Roobik found the part needed and got us fully operational by mid-day. Couldn't have asked for more!
Found Roobik and R Power Service this past weekend when a tenant's power went completely out after an attempted repair. I jumped on yelp and his stellar reviews encouraged me to give him a call. Within 2 hours, he was on site and diagnosing and fixing the problem. The property is very old so I wasn't sure that he would be able to fix it, but he had no issues, and while here he even fixed another outlet that we had been having problems with. I've actually had other electricians not bother to come out or do a job if it's not big enough. I understand that from a business standpoint. But it sucks for a regular home owner like me that needs something done that is just out of my scope of comfort to fix myself, but it isn't big enough of a job to for an electrician to want to complete.
I contacted Roobik, and he responded very quickly. We set up a time for him to come out and take a look and give me a free estimate. In a couple of days, my two small jobs were completed. Very efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and FAIR.
A trusty electrician is someone that every home owner should have in his/her phone book. I definitely plan on contacting Roobik again for any electrical need I may have.
They did a great job hanging my dining room chandelier and installing a new ceiling fan in a bedroom. There was no existing electrical for the ceiling fan. Everything was professionally done. They carefully installed everything and asked for my input to make sure I was happy. They took care of some light assembly as well. They meticulously cleaned every crystal after the installation. Overall, they did a great job. I highly recommend them.

Roobik was very quick to respond to my request for a quote (he came out that day), and gave us an honest evaluation and explained everything that needed to happen. The price he charged us was very reasonable and itemized all of the services so we knew exactly what we were paying for. The day of the install her came in and worked efficiently. If there were any issues he made sure we were aware and explained how he planed to fix them.

I had a nightmare experience with a different electrician who fried my microwave while changing a breaker (and proceeded to yell at me on the phone for an hour). Obviously a new guy was in order & I decided to call Roobik (who I had used and evidently forgotten I had used?! KATE.); he came out promptly to give a look, noted the issues the previous guy had caused, and gave me a price to separate my oven and microwave. He even offered to install the new microwave I bought after the old one fried.
A few days later, he's done with the added line and in the process somehow Lazarus'd my old microwave! Lazarus'd it right back to life! We have no idea what happened, but ... IT LIVES.
AND THEN.
Roobik loaded the new microwave in his truck, drove, and carried it into Lowe's for me so I could make a return.
He's a good dude. He's a solid electrician who fixed the wrongs of someone else AND he organized the wall repair for a few hours after he finished.

Our handyman had attempted to replace our bathroom fan but gave up mid-project. I needed to find someone quickly to finish the job. I reached out to Roobik, and he replied by Yelp message within about an hour. I sent him some photos, and later that day he stopped by my house to take a look at the wiring and to give me an estimate.
The next morning, Roobik came back and fixed the fan without any problems. His prices were fair. He was friendly and straightforward. He explained his process in clear language. Now our new bathroom fan is working as we had hoped.
I plan on returning to R Power when we are ready to install an EV charger. He offered a very reasonable price for that project as well.

Called Roobik on a Saturday morning with a problem with my electrical panel; he called right back and as it turned out, he was right in the neighborhood. He was there within 30 minutes, and immediately diagnosed the problem as some poor quality/oversensitive breakers. He fixed the immediate problem, and gave me some recommendations going forward on how to fix the larger problems with the panel. Thanks, Roobik!

Roobik is phenomenal. We started to experience a power flicker throughout our whole house that escalated very quickly. I called R Power on a Saturday morning and Roobik came out a few hours later and diagnosed the problem right away. Due to challenges with SoCal Edison, the repair spilled into Sunday, but Roobik stuck with me and came back to get the job done. His work was meticulous and professional. The situation was a hazardous one and Roobik's knowledge and great work kept my family and my home safe. We highly recommend him and will definitely be using him for future work.

R Power has helped us out with two projects, and did great work on both. On both jobs, Roobik's been prompt, professional, and explained the issues that he was working on well. We would certainly be happy to work with R Power again on future projects.
Roobik cam out to my house to help me with a broken outlet. He was very professional, quick to respond, and very responsive over text message as well. He did a quick troubleshoot of the issue and was able to trace the fault to a neutral wire.
This was something that would have been difficult for me to troubleshoot myself since I didn't have the proper tools. Roobik solved my problem within an hour and got me up and running. I'm sure that I will need an electrician in the future, and I would not hesitate to use R Power Services. He is located in Montrose, so the location is great for me. He even came late in the day, which ended up being convenient since I work during the days.

I have an old home with a lot of crazy wiring - so crazy no one ever tried to install a dishwasher. I had a dishwasher installed for the first time, and the installation people said that yes, my home had challenging wiring, and I needed a real electrician to hook up the dishwasher to power in the right way. Roobik came to my home quickly, but took the time to thoughtfully get the right information in advance remotely with photos. He correctly assessed the situation, and fixed my issue for a fair price.

The most knowledgeable and trusted electrician in Los Angeles. Roobik transformed my old apartment by having him change all of the lights and ceiling fan. I returned from a trip to discover the power out in the garage of my new home. I called R Power in the morning and he was able to come out only a couple of hours later. He quickly diagnosed it fixed it and showed me where it tripped so that I could fix it if it happened again. At this point he could have upsold me on plugs and switches, but he didn't. The price of his service call price may not have been low, but his sound advice was valuable.
Roobik was great. He did everything he said he would in our industrial space. We needed to reroute some conduit, install an outdoor security light, and run conduit for a water heater. It was all to code at a reasonable price. Nice to work with. Thank you!

My general contractor had recommended R. Power for rewiring my 1940s house. We are very pleased with Roobik's work, he's very professional and knowledgeable. I recently bought a home that needed a new breaker panel and several old electrical wiring sorted out. I had several electricians come out and give me quotes; but none of them were completely honest about the cost of the work. I received a lot of if's and maybe's, until I spoke with R Power Services. Roobik was direct and to the point. He told me what my issues were and how he was going to fix them (The conversation was more like he was telling me how he would fix an issue in his own home). Our three Ring Doorbells for our HOA went kaput and living in Venice we needed to get them back up and running fast . I called R Power this morning and Roobik showed up at 12:45p and was immed able to identify and solve the problem (GFCI's). He was knowledgeable and great to work with even offering to help put my Nest smoke detectors back up for free . We highly recommend this company !
They were very responsive and managed to fit my request in their busy schedule, going beyond the call of duty. Everything I requested got installed, despite finding issues in the original wiring. They fixed it quickly and efficiently. In addition, they were very nice and explained everything they were doing. (And wore a mask the entire time). I went with all the 5 star reviews and hired Roobik and couldn't be happier! Roobik and Rick replaced fan/heaters in two bathrooms. The units were different sizes (and better) than had been there originally so they needed to cut out a larger space and actually make some adjustments as to how it would fit best. The job went as described. Perfectly installed and the minimal patching needed. Looks great. Cleaned up everything. I'll definitely use them again for whatever I need. FIVE STARS for sure!!!

Roobik did a great job replacing our outdated recessed lighting with new and more modern ones.
He reached out to me very quickly upon sending him a message on Yelp, and was able to get out to our place the next day to give us a quote. All in all (including getting the parts we needed ordered) took about a week and a half.
They replaced 6 recessed lights, installed 1 new recessed light, installed 1 chandelier and repaired 1 power outlet and only took about 3 hours.
They were very careful about not leaving a mess, laid out plastic tarp when they needed. Very happy with their service!

Roupik was referred by a friend. I'm very pleased with his work and knowledge. He was dependable and timely. He explained the work and fixed my electrical problems in my rental. He assessed the problems and made sure the work is up to code.
I will call him again for future needs and highly recommend him for your electrical needs.
Our dining room chandelier broke, and was hanging by a few wires. We were afraid we would have to buy a replacement, but Roobik was able to come out the same day, and repair it. He also fixed one our outlets that wasn't working. He kept me updated all day as to exactly when he would arrive, and did a really quality job. He was also prepared with his mask, gloves, etc.
Roobik was called out because , my Christmas lights went out and he responded to my call immediately and he set up an appointment to come out to the home to trouble shoot the problem and give me an estimate. R Power Services ( Roobik ) came out and installed 2 outdoor outlets and resolved my Christmas light issue . Roobik is a real professional and knowledgeable.
I also let Roobik know I'm interested in putting up more lighting for outdoors and I definitely would like to have R Power Services to come out to help me with that . Our offices was having electrical issues with lights and outlets not working on one side but working on the other. We called R. I have benefited from the services of R Power on more than one occasion. A few months ago I installed recess lights in my whole house. The team over at R Power did a clean job and my recess lights have been working perfectly with no problems. I also got a 220v electric charge station installed in my house, as I recently purchased an electric car. I have not been more satisfied, both with the car and the charging station. Roobik and the team at R Power services more than exceeded my expectations on both jobs. As they were professional and timely when completing both. He installed ceiling lights in two rooms of my home, replacing two flushmounts with one semi-flush and one chandelier and adding dimmers to both.
Roobik's work is fabulous. He knows what he's doing and puts in the extra work to do it right, which was no small feat when replacing the DIY mess the previous homeowner had left.

Roobik was the consummate professional.. this was my first time using his services... after making several attempts to schedule a convenient time to come to my house to take care of a small repair and replace job, we settled on a day and time. The morning of I received a text message from Roobik saying he was having mechanical problems with his van but that he would keep me updated throughout the day. He did just that! After sending a message here on yelp, Roobik quickly got back in touch with me. My main request was for new breakers and lines to be run to the kitchen for a garbage disposal and dishwasher with the expectation that I would also have to replace the power panel. When he came out to do the initial inspection and quote he verified that I was definitely in need of a newer power panel. He quoted me for the two items separately. Roobik coordinated all of the work with the city and was also able to run the lines under the house, no easy feat!
Everything looks good and works well. When I need an electrician again I'll definitely be reaching out to him again.

We just bought a house in Pasadena, and needed someone to install recessed lighting throughout. Roobik came to provide me an estimate the same day I called him. This is the first major electrical job I have done, so I wasn't sure if I was getting a fair price. After calling and getting a second estimate from a different electrician for more than 3x the price, I immediately hired Roobik to complete the job.
It took him about a day and a half to complete the job. He showed up on time both days, and was very professional the entire time. He also had no problem at all with my dog being loose in the house while he worked...bonus points for that!
A couple of examples why Roobik will be my first call for all future electrical needs:
1. He cut all the lighting holes by hand, saying that it was more accurate, made less noise, and made less of a mess than using a power tool (even though it took longer)
2. He took extra time while installing the dimmer switches trying to find a way to not have to make holes in our walls. He installed 3 dimmer outlets and only had to make 1 hole (which he also patched for free as a part of the job).
3. We asked Roobik to re-locate an existing light switch in our guest room to a more convenient location. Not only did he fit this in to his schedule, when it was time to settle up at the end of the job he ASKED us if it would be ok if he charged us a little extra to cover the additional labor...how unheard of is that???
All in all, Roobik is an amazing electrician, runs a honest/fair business, and does great work. If you need electrical work...CALL ROOBIK!

I had called several other in the area but no one would answer the phone. When I called Mr. Roobik he answered the phone quickly. Asked me to send him pictures so he could assess the job requirements and have a little bit a knowledge before coming over. He let me know that he would be able to swing by after 5 pm followed by a text to confirm. He got to my house on tim. He was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Came by the house to give me an accurate idea of what was needed and what the price would be. The price was cheaper than the other quotes I got! The house is old so he needed a part that you can't just buy in the store and had it ready in just a couple days. He came by on time and was done in no time flat. Even told me about another issue I might have a problem with down the road. Definitely recommend!

We really like Roobik and highly recommend his services. We initially contacted Roobik for installing the ceiling light fixture that has 3 different sizes of glass gloves. He measured precisely each electrical code and placed 3 glass gloves in a different length. The outcome was beautiful. We also contacted him for installing the bathroom fans. We had very loud fans that were not working at all...after Roobik installed the powerful fans, the outcome was day and night! Super quiet and has a strong ventilation system, our bathrooms are no longer hot steamy sauna rooms! We are so glad we found Roobik in our local area.
The owner of this company was kind enough to help me in a pinch, my family and I just moved into our new home and we needed an electrician as soon as possible. I have had R Power Services out to my house several times. Roobik's craftsmanship is impeccable, he is prompt, he explains very clearly the root cause of your issues and how he proposes to fix it. He's an honest guy who is upfront about the problems and transparent and fair with pricing.
I live in a flipped house where a lot of corners were cut - not only has Roobik done some new work for me, he has also fixed really shoddy work done by whatever contractor worked on the house when it was flipped. He's done installations and repair work in my house, under my house, in my walls, underground in my backyard and in my garage.
Best part is that he was gracious enough to let my toddler watch him work (at a safe distance) the last time he was here and fielded all of his questions.

This is a great local electrician for our area. He is clearly a pro and stands by his work. We had him add some exterior outlets around the house for us to use (in the summer for outdoor activities and in the winter for Christmas lights). He clearly explained to us the various options (e.g. going back to back with an interior outlet or extending conduit along the wall), and did his work both quickly and with high quality.
Four or five months later, we noticed that one of the outdoor outlets were no longer working. He stopped by, immediately troubleshooted the problem as being a faulty GFCI unit, and replaced it in under 5 minutes, free of charge.
Would highly recommend!
I contacted Roobik through Thumbtack. He was very quick to respond and gave us the best quote to remove an old light fixture and install a new chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids. I appreciated that he was so responsive as we coordinated the price and timing. When he came to install the chandelier, we realized that I did not have any lightbulbs for the new chandelier. He went to the local hardware store to pick up regular and LED lights and let me choose which ones I wanted; I paid for the light bulbs. However, he did not charge me extra even though the job required more work than he originally thought such as cutting the wire and also his time in driving to the hardware store. He was very clear with me that he was going to honor his original quote which I greatly appreciated.
We also hired Roobik to come back a few weeks later to change out two more chandeliers. Despite that one was located in a super awkward place above the staircase, he did a fabulous job. I also just love that he is an honest and overall great guy!
We will definitely hire Roobik again, and again, and again. Thanks, Roobik!
My power cut out on my thermostat and multiple outlets suddenly during Covid Quarantine and a rainy cold front. Roobik came promptly on time same day and fixed no problem and fast. My external outlet was short-circuited. I collected 4 quotes, Mr. Roobik's quote is the highest. However, he provided me more details like whether the GFCI is weather resistant. So I finally chose him. And it turned out a correct decision. Mr. Roobik arrived on time, spent 2 hours on sorting out the messy wiring and replaced the outlet box. Mr. Petros did outstanding work to fix a problem I had with an open circuit. He spent 3 hrs. troubleshooting the house electric system, which is pre '30s knob and tube, with almost 90 years of abuse by various members of the untutored classes and other inepts, typically self promoting as handymen. The problem was compounded by the presence of blown in insulation covering the remains of the original system. Anyway Mr. Petros did a thorough job on the system and gave excellent recommendations on remediations to prevent further trouble. Highly recommended.

I contacted R. Power Services to install an EVSE to assist in charging my BMW i3. Roobik took care of the task quickly and efficiently. He assessed what was going on at my electrical panel with a circuit that was identified incorrectly. Once he sorted that out he completed the install in about an hour and it looks fantastic. More importantly, it worked and now I have fast charging for my EV in the garage. Roobik's attention to detail is impressive and I admire his work ethic. While he was onsite I hit him up for an additional job which he was happy to do. He installed a light fixture in the back of my house in what seemed like minutes... R. We found Roobik on Yelp and he was our second choice (first choice never returned our call). On a Saturday morning we had no power to an entire circuit of our house after I had played amateur electrician and tried to connect a light switch. It was either a loose wire or a bad 60-year old breaker. A small job for a real electrician, but he was there within 45 minutes, and completed the work in an hour, including wiring the new switch and outlet (the breaker was OK). He explained our ancient electrical system to us, assured us that it was not dangerous, and gave us an informal estimate of what an upgrade might cost. Never pushy, always polite, and obviously very knowledgeable. His fee was very reasonable, in fact, I was surprised. It was much less than I had expected for a Saturday service call.
Roobik's contractors license isn't listed on Yelp, so I checked the CSLB web site (I ALWAYS check!) and Yes he is licensed by the Contractor State License Board and bonded with no actions or complaints listed. We enthusiastically recommend R. Power Service.

We were having an emergency electrical issue specifically with our breaker box, so we contacted Roobik though yelp. He responded quickly and was able to stop by to assess the issue the very next day. Roobik is simply the best at what he does! I wanted to have the panel at my home upgraded and fortunately I was able to find R. Power Services to come and have the job taken care of. The prices cannot be beat, the cleanliness of the work cannot be beat, the open line of communication he had with me was the rarest trait anyone could ever find! Roobik did a great job on a few things for our new home.
First of all, I had contacted another electrician who was recommended to me and we set a time for him to come out and he blew me off (with no call or notice). Another electrician who was recommended to me never returned my voicemail. Roobik responded to my inquiry within 30 minutes and was out at my house within a day to give me an estimate, and he completed the job shortly after.
He was professional, courteous, and his price was fair. I had him come out and complete a second job on some pool equipment/wiring and he did a great job there as well. Roobik communicates well and delivers as promised, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend his services if you need electrical work done.

I was having some trouble with the lighting in my house and I needed some work done to have them fixed. I called R Power to help out and I have to say that their work was of very high quality. They went out of their way to ensure that all the lighting was working properly and conducted their business in a quick and efficient way . On top of that , they were very fair with their pricing and as a result , I got much more value than I had payed for. In the event of another issue sometime down the line, I would hire them again. I highly recommend them!
I had a few faulty lights in my kitchen and bedrooms, turns out the people that did my wiring prior clearly did not know what was going on, Roobik completely rewired everything and now everything works flawlessly!

I had an inspection on a townhouse done and found that the main electrical panel was not up to code and needed several urgent repairs. I called R Power Services and asked to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Roobik was able to fit something in even though he had a flight later that afternoon. He not only was able to make all of the necessary repairs but also upgraded my outdated main panel and provided all of the labeling. In addition, he changed my kitchen outlets to be gfci approved and installed recessed lighting in my bathroom.

I went to Home Depot to look for an electrician to work on my house main electrical panel and he was recommended to perform the work. I got a hold of Roobik -- Work schedule was set and the problem was fixed. Roobik even called back to make sure everything is working. He also pointed out a potential electrical hazard with my garage wiring and got that fix as well. Money more, of course. The material he used is commercial grade. Over all, I am satisfied with all the work Roobik has done and will ask him to return for future project.

Excellent professional quality service for sure. Roobik was on time, knowledgable, quick, and helpful. I had three electrical issues at my house. The first was a light fixture that he was able to just easily fix, and show me how to fix if it ever happened again. For our next issue, we haven't been able to find a specific kind of bulb for a bathroom fixture for years and have been forced to use a lamp in the bathroom (not convenient). He assured me that he would find it for me and only charge the cost of the bulb. Lastly, our kitchen lighting was not very good. He went over all the options and costs, thoroughly explaining everything that would need to be done and how long and how much it would take to do it. Overall, Roobik was as good as the yelp reviews said he was. I highly recommend him.

Wow! What great service. Roobik was highly professional and respectful of my time and budget. He didn't attempt to upsell and happily did what I needed. He worked very carefully, mindful of my hardwood floors and paint. He changed 14 wall outlets and switches without damage. He worked extremely quietly too and vacuumed work areas when done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
My wife and I were distressed for two days due to the electrical wiring problem in our kitchen. Roobik did a great job in tracking down the issue and fixing it. I know it wasn't an easy job because previously I tried another electrician and he couldn't find the issue. I contacted Roobik for a quote to uninstall an old wall sconce and install a new one. He responded right away and was even able to come to my home the next day.
At first, he couldn't guarantee that he could install it as the new sconce was a bit complicated but he was very honest and professional about it. Luckily he was able to complete the job and I'm so happy with my new lamp! He showed me what he was going to do every step of the way and even cleaned my lamp to make sure it was spotless. I'm a contractor - fixing up a house to move into. I contacted Roobik to upgrade the main panel, add recessed lights, and rework some things. I found Roobik experienced and detailed in all his work. A panel upgrade is one of the most involved electrical projects for a house - requires a permit, grounding, and in my case some rerouting of questionable past work. It all was completed to my satisfaction and in a timely way. Roobik works hard, thinks about the details, and deserves all the praise and success he gets on Yelp. I would use him again and am happy to trust him with a key to my place.

On a more recent project I wish I asked for a quote before he began work - the bill seemed high for running the final connections to two swamp cooler at our warehouse. The wiring ran more than the cost of the coolers ~ to extend an existing line 3' Yikes. Get a quote before doing any work.

Wonderful! I called to see if they fix floor and table lamps. I asked the gentleman who answered for an average price for fixing a lamp that was flickering. He was very honest and I determined that I was not emotionally attached enough to either, although I really like the table lamp. I went with Rouben of R. Power due to his outstanding reviews on Yelp and I am glad I did. I was impressed with Rouben for 2 main reasons, which are also the reasons you should go with him for any of your electrical needs:
1. PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS - Rouben showed up right at the time we agreed upon and was very polite and professional during his time at my home. He was obviously knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing for the repair.
2. HONEST AND FAIR - Rouben also did great work very efficiently (figured out the exact problem which was a faulty transformer in my living room) and charged me a very fair price. He clearly cared about the quality of his work and is willing to do honest work to get paid fairly. He does not at all strike me as the type of person who would try to hike up charges for a job which is unfortunately commonplace in his industry.
If you live near Pasadena, Glendale or the surrounding area, I would give my highest possible recommendation to give Rouben a call if you are in need of an electrician.

Roobik was nice enough to come and meet us for a consultation on a Saturday morning. That was quite convenient to start with. He was very professional, thorough, had some very good ideas for what we needed to do, and was very knowledgeable overall. What we really appreciated was that he was very forthcoming about what simple repairs we could do on our own and what really needed a professional's touch, and was able to explain how to do the things we could do ourselves. One and DONE.
We have two bathrooms that both had faulty exhaust fans with heating and light elements. I found R. Power through Home Advisor and Rouben called me right away. He came out that same day, met with my husband, explained what needed to be done and got right to it.

I showed up to the office Monday morning for work and this is how my day went:
1) I showed up and turned the lights on. When I turned the lights on, there was a loud buzzing sound coming from the lighting in my office.
2) I panicked and called the closes emergency electrical company I could find. R Power Services.
3) Rouben showed up within 20 minutes of my phone call. He ended up replacing a light fixture holder that had gone bad. He finished the job in less than 30 minutes and charged me less than the amount he actually quoted me.
In a day and age where customer service is a thing of the past, i was rather surprised and impressed that R. Power Services is still one of the few honest companies left out there.

We haven't had need of an electrician for many years now, but when the timer for our outside lighting failed, we needed to take care of it. Not having any referrals, I relied on the reviews here in Yelp to find someone, and I'm glad I did. I found R. Power Service, called Roobik, and he responded promptly. He was able to come by the next morning to give us an estimate. He arrived on time, listened to our ideas and concerns, and suggested an alternate solution that was actually less expensive and more efficient than what we had in mind. We had a particular light fixture in mind, but Roobik showed us a different possibility, and we were happy to follow his suggestion. Instead of lights on a timer, we went with the lights operating on sensors that he suggested. We are very happy with the job he did. Roobik responded quickly to our initial inquiry, offered valuable insight into the best solution for our problem, gave us a good price and did all work as promised. He was on time for both the estimate and the installation, and he was willing to take the time to explain all that he was doing. It was also nice to see that he followed up on his work, contacting us the evening of the day he installed the lights to see if everything was satisfactory. That is unusual in my experience. It is a pleasure to do business with someone who is knowledgeable and efficient, understands the value of courtesy and communication, and takes obvious pride in his work. I can recommend R. Power Services without hesitation, and I would look forward to working with Roobik on any future jobs we may have.

Rouben is one of the good ones. He came immediately to give me an estimate when I first gave him a call. I told him what I wanted and he was confident he could do it. Other contractors were not as confident in the scope of work. I called him back to do the work and we walked it again. He was open to tell me what was being done and how he was going to do it. I had other suggestions and he was open to make it happen. If I wanted something that cost more, he would tell me straight up. I had a ceiling fan and an exhaust fan installed both working great and both looking good. The price was right with no drama or no issues. Before he left I even offered a tip, but he refused.
If I need more electrical work done, I will call Rouben.
Excellent service. Contacted R. Power Services to install an EV charging unit. Roobik showed up right on time. He explained everything that needs to be done and did a great job quickly and efficiently. Roobik was very professional, obviously knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend R. Power for any and all electrical jobs.

I have nothing to say but great things about R Power Services. My houses electric panel needed to be upgraded and I needed new recess lighting in my garage. Rouben got the job done in a couple days and the price was unbeatable. Thank you for the excellent work and I'm in love with the new lights in my garage!

Roobik replied immediately when we contacted him about a light that would intermittently cease to work. He was super responsive to texts and flexible when scheduling. Came out right away and was able to immediately pinpoint our issue and fix some faulty wiring. He and his apprentice were very conscientious about cleaning up. Didn't do any cost comparisons, so I have no idea how his rates stack up to other electricians. We plan to schedule additional work with him!
Roobik is a really talented electrician, and a very nice guy. Fair pricing, and he always goes the extra mile. I recommend him highly. If you need an electrician, he's the best around.

I highly recommend R power for trouble shooting my electrical issue at my house and their know how with quick and clean workmanship.
I called Roobik earlier in the week to remove and replace my old ceiling fans in both of my bedrooms with new lights. He was very communicative throughout the process giving me suggestions and options I could go with. I picked out the lights I wanted and he came on time and set them up professionally with no hassle. All his great yelp reviews are very accurate, I would recommend his services to everyone!
