Phillip has done two repipes at two homes I have remodeled over the past 5 years and both times the work he and his crew have done was excellent. I have also had him redo some vents as well as camera a sewer line that I was worried about. All of this work was done very timely and for a very reasonable price compared to other plumbers I have gotten quotes from. I would highly recommend his service to anyone in the Southern California area.

I used Phillip and his crew for a gas leak and plumbing issue I had in my home. I called and left a message Monday morning and within 15 mins I received a call back from Phillip. He was able to come to my house in carson within the hour. Once he arrived he was able to determine what the issue was. We set up an appointment for the following morning. His crew and him showed up on time and started the work..There were here a few hours and solved my issue. These guys were very professional and honest. The price was great for the work that they did. I highly recommend PVD plumbing. I will use them again for my next issue/ project.

My home had a huge plumbing leak coming from my kitchen, laundry, and bathroom line. I called Phillip and he was able to inspect the problem the very next day and gave me a detailed explanation of what my exact problem was. Take into consideration I have no knowledge in plumbing whatsoever and he was able to make me feel comfortable with what needed to be repaired and gave me a very reasonable price. Phillip and his crew came the next day while I was at work and replaced the damaged plumbing and I have had no problems since. My experience with PVD Plumbing was excellent. After noticing discolored water from my tap, I reached out to them on Yelp and received a response within just 5 minutes. Their representative and I communicated back and forth, and I was able to schedule a site visit for the next morning, beating out four other plumbers who hadn't even replied yet.

Federico, my plumber, was incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and friendly. He asked all the right questions and listened attentively to my concerns. Although we didn't immediately diagnose the problem, he provided guidance on what to watch for and how they would handle the situation if it worsened. I'm grateful for their professionalism and expertise, and I'll definitely be contacting PVD for any future plumbing needs. It's a relief to have a reliable and trustworthy plumber to depend on.

I used the messaging system to put a quote out to several plumbers for water heater repair. PVD and another company replied right away and set up a time and date to troubleshoot my system. First company arrived (not PVD) I told the Plumber I needed the anode rod replaced as well due to corrosion, he was unfamiliar with it, I said, You know the sacrificial soft metal rod in a water heater, mine is shot. I still received a blank stare. I them asked, Do you think the unit would not start due to a worn part, I read often the metal round tubular device near the pilot light goes bad. . I did know the name (thermocouple) but asked to see if he could tell me well he looked confused and told me to get a new unit.

PVD arrived next and looked professional. They passed all my does this guy know what he is doing survey questions and yes I did need a new water heater and they recommended a Bradford and White. This I know this brand is made in USA and is as tough as a tank. They had the new water heater installed in 2 hours and hauled away my old one. Bradford and White is far superior to anything you can buy at any of the big hardware stores. I later saw Bradford and White has a special enameled lining to protect the tank from corroding as well as this hydro jet system, water jets on top and bottom of tank on inside swirl water in tank to keep sediment from accumulating .

PVD was a class act and choose to install a durable water heater that should not let me down.

We had a weird slow leak at our water meter on the parkway to our property. PVD Plumbing was able to assess the situation as it seemed to be connected to the outdoor spigot near the garage and provide the necessary service to correct this problem and restore our watering system so that the leak was abated. Amazing, amazing service. Had a main line clog and had a different company come out to snake the clean out, only to have the clog happen again within 48 hours. (I think the technician didn't snake for long enough the first time.)

This first company wanted to snake again at additional cost, camera, and possibly hydro jet it, which is standard procedure, but didn't want to explain the necessity of each course of action (or any questions really). It also was problematic that this technician couldn't provide ball park estimates for differing repairs without calling his office. And even then, the office helper said he would need to call his manager about pricing. Not very transparent and made me uneasy about doing additional work with them. And I used to work for a plumbing company before, so that's saying something.

Philip from PVD was a godsend. I called his company after the runaround with the first company. He was able to come to my house in an hour's time, hydrojetted it, camera'd it, and even showed me the location of the rootball. Even though it could mean less work for him, he located the root ball coming from the city tree and let me know that it was the city's responsibility to repair the pipe on the 6 side, and how to go about doing that. He even recommended shopping around for plumbing work.

He's sooo honest!

We're going to get ABS re-pipe work done with him on this house in the near future & will use him for any future work for our rental properties. Go with Philip. He's good people.

There was a pipe leak in the water service line to the house, leading to expensive water bills. So I got multiple bids from different plumbers and decided on repiping. I found PVD Plumbing and Re-Pipe on Yelp and got in touch with Phillip, the owner. He came to assess the situation, gave his recommendations and emailed his bid within hours. PVD's bid was very reasonable and also because of its excellent track record from satisfied customers online, I felt comfortable going with PVD to repipe the water service line.

The work quality is top notch and the communications throughout was excellent. I appreciated Phillip coming here the day of the work to explain what will be done and the follow-up call the day after. I highly recommend PVD Plumbing and Re-Pipe for any plumbing issues or repiping!

In the midst of remodeling our kitchen, we experienced a plumbing issue which made us look into re-piping our home. After contacting several companies, Phillip, the 'P' in PVD, walked us through the process and instilled confidence and trust in his knowledge and ability to perform a thorough job. He upheld all of his promises and even helped us make critical decisions on our project. His crew was courteous, respectful, fast and accurate which was critical as we were in a time constraint. Well, here's another great review for Phillip and his crew. PVD started off by giving me a quick response to a request for a quote. I needed a new main gas line to my house from the street. I don't have a normal flat front yard, I have a 4 foot retaining wall, and the yard is terraced, making it more difficult. The crew dug all the way down beneath the sidewalk, to avoid busting up the concrete. All other contractors I reached wanted to bust up lots of concrete, leaving me with patches everywhere. In spite of all this, they still managed to finish in one day, and I had hot water by nightfall. Thanks guys!

I rely on PVD Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs. When we re-built our home several years ago, PVD installed all the plumbing including but not limited to ABS drain lines, copper water lines, gas lines, and a tankless water heater.

Late last night I noticed a small leak along my main water line and called PVD. Phillip arrived early this morning and fixed the leak promptly.

Phillip is always responsive and takes time to address any questions or concerns and ensures I am satisfied with his work. His work is always top notch.

We're really happy to have found PVD Plumbing. They were honest, professional, and fast. We will definitely go with them again.

We had a small gas leak from an old corroded gas line under the backyard. Panicked from having our meter locked and having no idea what this was gonna' cost, we called around and had 4 different plumbers out to give estimates.

Of all the plumbers we had out, Phillip inspired the most confidence and gave us the most reasonable estimate (a whopping $4000 less than the highest). He is licensed and understands about LB code and working w/ the city. He came up with a solution that helped avoid tearing up concrete which saved us money. His crew came out the next day and finished by the end of the day. They were fast and professional. Their work passed inspection with no problems whatsoever.

After contacting PVD plumbing on a friday morning, Erin set up an appointment for the next day, 9 am saturday. Freddy arrived before 9, a good sign in my book, walked me through what would be involved in repiping the house, went under the house checked the existing pipes. an estimate was sent via email, i had some questions Freddy called me back the same day, was patient and answered all my questions. work was scheduled for the next wednesday. a crew of about 7 plumbers arrived on time, all had their designated job to do, working well together. the job was complete in one day. They cleaned up after, put the front yard back as though nothing happened. The PEX pipes has a 25 year warranty, no more worries about leaky pipes.

Was in a bind because of a Sloan Valve toilet which was
leaking. PVD Plumbing was recommended by another plumbing company who was to busy to look at it. I called PVD Plumbing and spoke with Phil. He sent his guys within 2hrs. Not only did Jugo ( his employee) fix the problem,but Phil did not charge me!!! Being a senior citizen I always try to proceed with great caution before having any type of work done that I know nothing about.
I felt at ease after speaking with Phil and his crew. They did replace the Sloan Valve( it needed it). The cost was very minimal.I checked with another company before knowing about PVD PLUMBING and was quoted 3 times MORE than I was charged by PVD. Call PVD for any plumbing issue. I recently called my home owners insurance because both restrooms were backed up. They sent some random plumbing company that wasn't PVD.

After having to deal with scheduling problems and finally getting someone out to my place I was told the problem was fixed. I flushed the toilet just a hour after the plumber had left and it got back up again. I was told by the plumber that the tree in the front of my house was creating a problem with the main line and I should invest in a sleeve of some sort that would cost about 5k to fix.

Finally I decided to call a real plumber which was PVD plumbing. Phillip came out and cleaned out my problem in less then an hour. I questioned him about my root problem. He said he put a camera up the main and the house line and he didn't see a root problem. I said are you sure ? He reassured me and said yes you have no problem look at the camera.

PVD is a fast,friendly, HONEST and reliable. I'm so happy I called them up.

I hired this guy (Phillip) from 400 miles away based on his Yelp reviews. I wasn't disappointed. He worked with me on the phone, was very accommodating, and was pleasant and professional throughout the whole process. The process was replacing a water heater and several pipes. The guys at PVD Plumbing were great. Kudos to Philip and Greg. Greg was diligent and efficient. He unclogged both drains with ease. He was very descriptive on the work he was doing. 8 year old water heater went bad and I spoke to Phillip over the phone. He had a tech come look at the water heater within an an hour of my phone call.

Had an option to wait for parts or replace it completely. (The pilot light wouldn't stay on & whirlpool didn't make great water heaters)
Since this was at a rental property I chose to have it replaced.

PVD plumbers promptly and replaced the water heater with a Bradford White Brand water heater.

Service was fast, clean, & efficient.

WOW! is an understatement.

We had a nasty cast iron pipe that was litterally ripped in half and leaking (who knows for how long....) beneath our crawl space. The previous home owner decided to pull a quote from PVD plumbing and we wanted to give our business to local smaller shop. Let me tell you they did not disappoint.

Fredrico and his team were punctual showed up right on time in their super cool wrapped van with everything ready to go. We were still unpacking and looking around the house and before you know it they finished their work. They dug about a 4 foot hold on the side of my house, but when they were done you couldnt even tell anything happened.. Also Fredrico and team were sure to show us with their camera how clear our pipes were compared to before..

I had a clogged laundry room drain pipe and a regular snake was not doing the trick. I need a plumber and fast to do my laundry. But is was a holiday weekend. PVD came to the rescue on a holiday. PVD plumbing has been helping our family and house for many years. They are always super responsive, helpful, commutative in the issue and what options for resolution we have.
We had a clogged pipe that backed up the toilet and tub downstairs. PVD came and fixed it ASAP and within just a couple of hours.
Our sink spout broke too and they replaced the spout for us while they were here.
The guys that come out are always so nice as friendly too. Also, they take Covid precautions as well so you feel safe.

Highly recommend. We reached out on a Friday. They sent over a specialist for an estimate the next day and was able to get started on a full interior/exterior repipe of our home on Monday.

The company was very responsive and so kind. Federico, our technician, was on time and so efficient. Him and his team completed the whole repipe 7 hours and walked me through the entire process multiple times. At the end he did a final walkthrough, took my comments and notes, & adjusted things on the spot. This company is fantastic. I did a full house repipe and replaced my water heater. Fredrico was their main guy and he was super responsive, straightforward, and upfront with setting the expectations. I was assigned Federico (Freddie). Federico and his team did an excellent job installing new water valves for a future washer/dryer installation. They also replaced gas valves for my stove and washer/dryer and gave them separate valves so that if one needed to be turned off, the other wouldn't be effected. The team installed everything in about 4 hours. I will definitely be continuing services with this company and asking for Federico again.

Philip/Freddy (the main people I interacted with) were AMAZING! Freddy came out and assessed the situation - turned out that our clogged sink was a whole separate issue. Freddy found we had a potential leak from a pipe, water flooding under the house and he automatically connected us with the Restoration company who came out as well to work on getting the water absorbed.

Freddy returned promptly with his team and worked on resolving the plumbing issue. Overall communication was fantastic and although I am a renter, the PVD team did an amazing job of reassuring the owners that they'd get their property taken care of! Also just a great job with informing us of what they would do, and what the status was on the overall project.

We just had a slab leak underneath the kitchen floor. After several estimates, we decided to go with PVD to re pipe the whole house with PEX.
Frederico came out for an estimate an explained to us in details what need to be done. He and his crew came out on time for the job and complete the repiping of the house in one day. They patched up all the holes made nicely and beautifully as of nothing was done to the walls. The crew was very professional and efficient. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

We had no working toilets or showers for 2 days. After repeated attempts by our handyman to clear the main line with multiple length snakes, and no success, we finally called the professionals.

They came out the same day, and Nico was there right on time. I informed him that we had no clean-out on the side of the house that was affected, so he would have to go on the roof. He was not bothered by that and went right up. Unfortunately, the toilets and showers only worked for 3 more hours after he left.

When I called them back and spoke to Philip, he let me know they would be out there first thing the next morning. Philip was nice enough to ask if we had at least one working toilet before we hung up. I told him we did, as long as we wait 15 min in between flushes.

Since I couldn't take any more time off from work to deal with the plumbing, my Dad met with them the next day. He said they were clean and courteous. Philip even took the time to meet our big Doberman, so my Dad wouldn't have to keep him locked up.

They sent me pictures and videos during the process, which I really appreciated. Then, Philip came to the conclusion that we had a severe root problem, and a clean-out would have to be installed in order to fix the problem for good.

After that, the pipes were cleared and the clean-out installed the same day.

We haven't had a plumbing problem since. I never thought I would be so happy to hear a toilet flush.

After getting a couple of estimates from other plumbers we went with Phillip because he was the most genuine and honest. His price was actually half the price of one of the estimates and he did a lot more work than what we originally thought needed to be done. Spoke to Phillip about a slow sewer house connection and he advised me to call the city of Long Beach. They came out the following day, jetted the line, shot the camera, found multiple offsets with root intrusion, and put us on the repair list. In the meantime (until repair) we can call the city for cleaning whenever needed. All of this at no cost. The galvanized pipe from my outdoor faucet was very rusted and had holes in it. This pipe ran around the house to the another faucet. I called out my regular plumber and he said he couldn't fix it, so i looked on yelp and found quite a few companies with high reviews.
I talked to three companies over the phone and two suggested a complete replacement of the pipe without even coming out to look at it. One company did come out, but the owner was so condescending when I asked any questions, I knew i could not work with him.
Phillip was the only one to take time to listen on the phone and he came out to do a thorough inspection of the piping. It did need to be completely replaced and he walked me through what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and I immediately trusted and felt comfortable working with him. He sent two technicians out, Federico and Juan who were so kind and respectful. They did a very clean job and made sure I was happy with the work.
PVD also does drain cleaning, water heater replacement,etc.
I own property so asked Phillip about pricing and he is very competitive. I have found my new plumbing company to handle all my needs.
Phillip is a great guy who is very honest and respectful. I highly recommend him!

I can't tell you how happy I am.

I moved into a fixer upper last year - and had NO water pressure. Seriously - there was no hot water upstairs. I knew I had to re-pipe, but was horrified at the quotes I was getting - which ran from $8-13K.

Then I found that nobody wanted to do the job (except the $13K guy). So I came to good old yelp and found Phillip of PVD Plumbing. He came over same day - and his quote was shockingly less expensive. HALF my mid quote.

He explained that plumbers actually hire him to do re-pipes - talk about knocking out the middle man! Phillip and his team came in and had the whole thing done in a day and a half. And they were super clean - even patched the stucco!

Call these guys. Get water pressure. Be happy.

Oh. And Phillip is now my plumber for everything else, too. Great guy.

Another plumber had referred PVD saying they were honest and reasonably priced. I hired Phillip from about 400 miles away to work on my condo which my daughter resides. Phillip was able to calmly deal with a freaked out teenager (whole condo was flooded) and make the necessary repairs. Phillip was honest saying it was only a clogged sewer line from the washer. Not only is he trustworthy but kind and empathetic as well! He could have easily said it was more than that and I would've never known. He will definitely get my business again! PVD plumbing is truly the best plumbing company I've ever dealt with. It's a dynamic, energetic, honest, organized, and a professional company in every sense of the word led by the owner Philip, his foremen Greg and Sal. No matter what I say, it would honestly be an understatement. My story began with this company after experiencing a major slab hot water leak in a 4-plex condo building in Long Beach. PVD was selected among a bunch of plumbing companies and boy was I so glad. As unlucky as it was to have a major slab water leak, I got extremely lucky however in finding what it turned out to be the best plumbing company ever. With no contract, no payment, Philip brought in a specialist leak detection company to find the leak. He worked feverishly and tirelessly to find a temporary fix in order to mitigate the damage while restoring water service to my 4 awesome tenants. To make the story short, given the age of the building and all the other options, a decision was made to re pipe the entire building. The decision took place late in the evening, the next morning, Philip and his crew showed up in full gear and re piped the entire building in such a manner that left me and my tenants honestly speechless, The operation was truly flawless. These people are truly unreal. Their workmanship are second to none. Their humility are second to none. Their expertise are second to none. Their customer service are second to none. Nothing I can ever mention would truly highlight the immaculate job they did on my place. This is one of the best highly organized professional companies I've ever came across. I've dealt with numerous plumbers due to a situation with an on going leak under my home. I needed a repair for an outdoor hose faucet and bibb valve repair. Had some free time on a Saturday morning. Contacted PVD Plumbing via Yelp on a whim after doing some research and received a pretty immediate response from Philip. It took less than an hour from the time I started my conversation with Philip to the confirmation of the price and scheduling a plumber to come out to my home within a 1-hour time frame. When Beto arrived, he was friendly and professional. He completed the job within 90 minutes. THe finished product was outstanding. For a company that prides themselves in Honest plumbing , I am flabbergasted and disappointed by the owner's response to my experience.

Owner decided to add arbitrary and inaccurate time stamps. If you want to give a detailed description of what happened, at least be honest. Our appointment was set at 2pm, I did not call at 2:01, and the plumber did not show up at 2:22pm.

Freddy quoted me $1800, which is close to $2k in my opinion. If he meant $1450, he should have said $1450.

The owner's response reaffirms my decision and encouragement to hire a different company.

This is an amazing company to work with! Federico came out to take a look at our collapsed sewer pipe. He provided excellent service and knowledge of what needed to be done. I had a couple of other companies out to bid, but found Federico to be reassuring not only with the cost but that the job would be done correctly. Federico and the PVD Plumbing crew came out the next day, and WOW, like clockwork, the PVD crew had everything completed in an orderly, professional manner and knew exactly what to do. Our pipes were of clay and fell apart, so a liner was made, and the clean out valve was installed! Everything was cleaned up as if they were not even there. THE BEST PLUMBING TEAM IN LONG BEACH!!! Happy to have found PVD Plumbing. We bought a fixer upper and have used PVD to fix some sewer issues and other misc jobs. I am so happy that we contacted PVD after getting an insanely high quote for plumbing work which ended up being completely bogus from another well-known company. Our laundry drain pipe was backing up. We contacted a large plumbing company which sent a guy who attempted to snake the drain, and then crawled under the house. He emerged from underneath the house with what he claimed was video footage of 2 leaks in our drain line which would cost a mind- boggling $1500 to fix. This was shocking since we had only recently purchased our house and the home inspection did not indicate any issues with a leak, however I realize these things can happen. Since we figured we should get more quotes for the work, we sent this guy away. We called PVD immediately based purely on yelp reviews and the fact that they were still open at 6:50pm and answered the phone when I called. I explained what had happened and Phillip immediately said it sounded like BS. He came over the next day snaked the drain and checked under the house. No leaks. The video footage of leaks were fake. Its refreshing to find an honest repair person who I can trust when we seriously might have paid some liar $1500 to just hang out under the house and pretend to do work. So scary. Thank you PVD!!!

We have a sewage leak below our sub floor, after calling two other plumbing company's, we decided to go with PVD plumbing. They came out on Thursday to give us a estimate and started work the following day. They taped and masked everything and were able to repipe our house in one day, they patched and picked up after themselves and left the job site clean.

Did a job turned down by another local plumbing company in one hour

I noticed dripping of sink pipe in the kitchen for one week. I tried to tape it over weekend, but did not work well. I selected three local plumbing companies based on good reviews and called them on Monday morning. I sent a picture of the problem to ask for a solution. Beach plumbing and jetting told me that they could not fix the pipe unless replacing the whole thing including erator which would cost $475 (did not mention what kind of erator and I have had no problem with my erator). At this time, PVD plumbing told me that they could fix the pipe without replacing the erator at an almost 2/3 less cost.
We scheduled a Tuesday morning service. Their plumber Elisa Gutierrez showed up. He was puzzled by the arrangement of the pipe first and told me that this was a handyman's work, not from a professional plumber's hand. He assured me that he could fix it, but needed to get extra parts.
He did a very neat job, removing the old pipe, cutting and adjusting the new pipe into the position. In one hour (from arrival, inspection, re-evaluation, getting parts from car and store nearby, to assembling and testing), he finished the job.
I am very impressed! I will use them again.

PS. I have had another plumber service 3 years ago which was called in by my insurance company and the former plumber kept me waiting for a whole morning. In contrast, Elisa Gutierrez is only slightly late (20 minutes) this time to pick up a tube, but he made up by doing a professional quick job. Only one hour, everything is finished! amazing! I am very happy with him.

Had a clogged shower drain. Scheduled an appointment at 3pm - they were available earlier, but I had meetings - and the plumber showed up right on time. I'm glad that I went with PVD plumbing to fix my water heater. After reading several reviews on Yelp, I contacted several companies for a quote. Most quotes that I received were wide ranges up to $1200. Some companies charge a fee to come and give an estimate. However, Phillip was straight forward and gave me a price that I thought was reasonable. Also, I have been taking cold showers for a week so I needed it fix quickly. Setting up an appointment was easy. Phillip contacted me via text when he was falling behind on another project. It worked out well because I was running late that day also. When the technician came to my house, he was courtesy and allowed me to watch him. As he was repairing the water heater, he went over with me what he was doing. The job was done quickly. Later that day, Phillip called me to follow up to see if I was getting any hot water. From previous experience (which were mainly bad experiences), I have never had a plumbing call to follow up. Wow!! I was very impressed. I would definitely use PVD plumbing again and would recommend them to my friends and family.

These guys were amazing. Unused Prodigy pluming on Friday when I came home to a pipe leak in the units above our garages. They charged $1100 to repair a pipe which took one person one hour. But I had no choice as I did not want to inconvenience the tenants. They explained the back two units / laundry area has galvanized pipes and would likely need a repipe (I knew this day was coming). They quoted me $18,000.

I knew it was a con and insanely overpriced. I called for multiple quotes and PVD came out that same day as well. They didn't care that Prodigy pluming was still here when they came to give me the quote. One day later (Saturday) got a quote and for half the price PV PLUMBING was here and amazing. Came with like eight people and knocked a whole home repipe out of the park within eight hours! 100% would recommend!

S L A B L E A K....
I just experienced my 3rd slab leak.They're no fun and very costly to repair. I didn't want to go through anymore headaches, so I decided to repipe the whole house with PEX. I called Phillip (owner) at PVD Plumbing and Repipe. He was very polite and courteous. He came to the house, made his assessments, explained all the procedures for the job and gave me a very reasonable estimate in less than one hour. Then, I had to ask the main question. Payment? With Coronavirus putting everyone in difficult times financially, Phillip gave me a response that I wanted to hear. Cash,Check or CHARGE with No down payment to start the job. PVD Plumbing had a great track record with many positive reviews. So, I hired them.

Phillip and his crew (Federico, Juan, Junior, Jesse, Yair & Alex) arrived on time Saturday morning. They were very hard working the entire duration of the job. I was very comfortable and happy with this crew's display of respect, friendliness and professionalism while on the job. I got an estimate from Phillip at PVD on pretty short notice, he worked with my schedule and showed early as requested. He video inspected my sewer line an confirmed it needed replacement. His estimate came in well under 2 other plumbers. His team completed 50ft of pipe bursting sewer line replacement as schedule. He finished in 1 day and sent photos and videos to keep me informed of the process as I could not be present during the work. He shows up on time and does what he says he is going to do. He even went above an beyond ....the location of the hole was right where a bush was, it had to be removed. There was a matching bush that I requested to be removed. Removing an uneffected plant is not a necessary job and not a plumbers responsibility but he had his guys do it without hesitation , which I appreciated. Phillip and PVD plumbing are highly recommended.

Fast, efficient, they know their business and they have great attitudes even as they are taking care of an absolute nightmare of 50 to 60 year old cast iron plumbing ENCASED in concrete that was the house mainline out to the sewer! Yikes...

We are talking about a young man shoveling out dirt until only 6 inches or so of the top of his head can be seen. You ask him how he's doing and he answers, Everything is GOOD! LOL...

I highly recommend Phillip and PVD PLumbing. We had a pipe blockage with some complications, which our warranty company could not/would not solve. PVD happened to be working next door ( but coincidentally were highly recommended by another plumber who could not get here in time). Phillip ( the owner) came right over and started to diagnose/fix the problem. He and his crew came back a few days later ( by mutual consent) and fixed the problem in a couple of hours. Philip was no bs and got straight to the point, told me what the issue was and gave me a few options. Scheduled for next day work because he told me that it wasn't a serious matter. Showed up at my house the next morning and was done super quick and super clean! Price was unbeatable for the work and for the after hours consult!
For any plumbing issues, PVD is definitely the guys to call.

Had a problem on Saturday night with our kitchen sink not draining. Sunday I called two friends who do plumbing. They either did not have the equipment or the desire to do a side job. Called PVD on Monday and Phillip came over that same day. He damaged his equipment during the process of making the repairs. The next morning he came back with brand new equipment and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. After two service calls and him having to replace his broken equipment, I thought the bill was going to be a normal high bill. To my surprise, he was cheaper than what I expected. In fact my two friends, who are plumbers for a large facility, said they were going to charge me more than what PVD would have charged. We requested PVD plumbing an estimate for complete plumbing repipes in our house. We provided all plans and engineering drawings for easier communication.
The office manager was nice and scheduled us right the way (this is the only thing).
After they played for time, promised to prep the estimate. After a week of calling, they asked about a second trip to the house because they needed some info. We were ready to meet the technician again, but the next day I got the email that they have to pass our project. No one even called me. Really?! It took them 2 weeks to realize they are not capable of that scope of work!

Super unprofessional! Do not wait for them and look for an alternative.

Let me tell you Yelp homies about my day today. I live in LB. I had dreams of driving up to where a buddy of mine lives in Ventura today (Saturday), hang, and pick up a table saw he's trying to sell me. All in all, it was gonna be a good day.

But PSYCH, I woke up w ridiculous food poisoning at 4am. From 4am to 6pm I'm sleeping on the bathroom floor concentrating on not dying. As I'm laying there, I hear a knock on the door. I assumed it was my housemate and he just got locked out or something. So I mustered what felt like an insane amount of energy to get to the door. Turns out It was my neighbor pointing out there's a F'ING RIVER OF WATER escaping from my water meter and traveling down the street. I tell my neighbor thanks and run back in the bathroom and yak. I go outside, I'm pretty ignorant w plumbing so my plan was to grab a bathroom trash can and bail it out until I could see what the problem is. Did not work as planned. Way too much water. I call city of LB, they say they'll dispatch someone. Meanwhile I've got that same trash can next to me I was bailing water with to throw up in as I'm looking out the window waiting for the city. 45 min or so go by and I call them back bc I'm worried about how insane my water bill is gonna be. They're like oh shoot, we got sidetracked by another leak, be another 25 min. So I wait, they get there, I open the door and immediately drop my head down so I don't pass out bc I got up too fast. The guy is like uhhh. Anyways, they turn the water off and tell me it's my responsibility, even though the break was basically in their meter box and due to all the roots from the city tree in front of my place. I'm going to fight this though when I get a chance.

Anyways either way I need to find a plumber. I call a few places, no response bc it's Saturday. I got one guy to come out to check it out, he says what I really should do is remove the existing line and put in a copper line bc the current galvanized line is all jacked up. I agree, but he says he can't do it until tomorrow. I'm thinking, dude I need water in this house or things are gonna start getting real gross. That plumber referred me to Phillip though to see if he could get it done that day. So I call him up, he says he's tied up at another job but he says he can send a couple guys down and bust it out, but they might be staying late bc at this point it's already approaching noon.

Anyways, a couple of his dudes roll over within an hour, and bust the whole thing out in about 3.5 hours. Replaced the entire line and put the grass back.

My day still really sucked bc I'm still not feeling well, but had a good experience w this guy and that made things a little better.

I'm impressed with PVD Plumbing and will use them again. We had been putting off a complete re-pipe for several years but decided to get moving on it. I contacted three companies for estimates, Phillip came out and did a walk through of our home, was very thorough and provided an estimate. We scheduled the work. The team was on time, took the time to lay down protective paper in the walk ways and got the job completed the same day. We now have great water pressure looking back on the whole experience I would say two things really stick out in my mind. There were no aggressive sale tactics and communication was great.

Phillip & his team were excellent to work with! I was in need of a repipe for the house and got multiple estimates and these guys came in with a good fair price. They were on time and did a great job! I was especially impressed with the repair to the walls where they had to cut into them to run the new pipe. After it was completed, You couldn't tell there was any damage at all as they matched the drywall texture perfectly. I just called PVD to have a shower valve replaced and they completed the job within a couple of hours. I got quotes from two other plumbers that charged double the price and could not replace the valve from the shower side only from the back side of the wall. I found this place from Yelp. Got 3 estimates. I needed a new clean out installed at my front lawn and a hydro jett done. Met Greg and he proved his camera into the pipes. He identified what he found and made recommendations. Then he quoted me $400 cheaper than my other two quotes. They performed the job the next day. Philip the owner sent me pictures of the work done while I was at work. They even went beyond expectations to dig out all the roots in my pipes and also replace 2 feet oof pipes. In addition, I got a two way clean out instead of one. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

PVD Plumbing sent a technician to my house on a Sunday evening to evaluate a clogged cast iron drain line. I had contacted PVD for a second opinion after one of the larger franchise plumbing companies informed me that it would cost $10k to descale and coat my main drain line because it was in very poor condition (cracks and holes). Greg, from PVD, inspected and snaked the line and said that he believed the line was blocked, but didn't believe there was any value in coating the pipe. He explained all of my options and recommended we try Hydro-jetting for about $500. If that was not successful, we could then discuss pipe-bursting (which wasn't much more than the other companies price to descale and coat) giving me 'a new' pipe backed by warranty. Fortunately, hydro-jetting cleared the line! Greg's honesty, knowledge and genuine desire to solve customer problems was a breath of fresh air. I will use PVD Plumbing every time I need a plumber and highly recommend them to anyone that would like to deal with a customer-centric company that doesn't try to sell you something you don't need! Thank you, Greg, you resolved my problem and gave me peace of mind!

Just the facts. I have a small plumbing job. Leaky toilet. Called on 10/2/17 to arrange an appointment on 10/4/17. Left work an hour early to be home for the plumber on 10/4/17. He texted to say that he had an emergency job and would not be able to make it. Tentatively arranged another appointment for 10/6/17. Did not get a return call to confirm. I have called and left messages on 10/9/17 and 10/10/17. Still no reply.

I gave him a one star rating because of poor response. If he had originally said that this job is too small and didn't take the job, I would be OK with everything. I could have arranged another plumber to do the job. Instead, it has been over one week without the use of this toilet and I had to leave work early one day for a no show.

Best Plumber in Seal Beach by a long shot!! Actually they are probably one of the last honest plumbers I've come across in years. My wife and I called around the area to get a free estimate or quote for our Seal Beach home and all the quotes were somewhat the same within $20-$30 dollar difference. But PVD really stood out to us because he asked questions that the others didn't. In fact when he found out the drain actually went into the backyard thru the wall and directly into the drainage ditch in the backyard... he was able to quote us way way way lower than everyone else. It's when people or even the business owner goes out of his way to lower the costs (income to his business) and save you money, but also has that strong belief that old saying honest work for honest pay I'm quoting the owner Phillip. On time social distance, work guaranteed and very competitive pricing, we had a large job and needed some serious re-piping done. The sand really get's into the pipes on the beach... it's amazing. We had received quotes from the top 5 plumbers in seal beach we found on the Googles website. PVD was the lowest and beat it by $122 !!! FYI the highest plumber in Seal Beach was 2.5 X the cost of PVD and the other plumber also said this is an estimate and the parts, supplies are NOT configured in yet.... SO yea, we were lucky we found PVD and it feels great knowing we're supporting our local Seal Beach Plumbing Company.

Responded to my request for service lightning fast. Kitchen sink wasn't draining, they snaked the whole line from outside connection and ran the snake across the whole house. Sink no longer backs up, was on time and finished in about 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend PVD Plumbing! I had my two bedroom house re piped in copper and called PVD for a quote. Philip came out, looked at the project and gave me a very reasonable quote. What sold me, besides the professionalism of Philip, was the fact that they told me that if they breakout any drywall, they patch everything. I recently went through a similar project with my moms house and it was a disaster! I held my breath and told Philip the job was his... they showed up on time, covered everything with plastic and got started. By the end of the day my place was completed with copper, walls that they had to break through patched, even sprayed texture on the wall in the garage to match the rest of the wall! They cleaned up and showed me everything they did, explaining their work. I am overjoyed and my only complaint would be that I didn't use them in my moms house...

I can't say enough positive things about PVD Plumbing. They helped to make our house a home. We purchased a home that we loved, but the water heater ended up taking a crap on us after escrow closed, and we also found out of a nagging issue with the toilet not being able to flush in one of our rear restrooms. It didn't help that our move in date was fast approaching so we needed it to get fixed, and fast. We also decided to upgrade to a tankless water heater instead of having another 50 gallon installed. I can honestly say, that EVERYONE that we have dealt with from that company, from Erin the Admin, to Federico who was the crew lead, and the owner Phil, who was constantly checking up to make sure things were in line and ok, made us feel very comfortable and I trusted them with their work. Federico, their lead Tech/PM, is a consummate pro. He is sharp, knows his stuff, eager to help, and willing to do the job the right way. I was so impressed with him and his crew throughout the whole process. I'm always afraid of getting shafted on prices and work, but I didn't feel that way at all with them. A truly HONEST plumber! Received a home inspection report for what was stated as mold, leaks on subfloor and water leaks. I was not home and he was honest in sharing what appeared on paper to be an issue for buyer credit should not be honored because that minor moisture on pvc is very typical for age of home which is being sold under value to provide built in futures credits for home owner already. And the alleged mold was old calcium build up from hard water in the Bellflower area.

Will definitely call again when I need a plumber in the future!

After replacing water heater in my home with 50 year old plumbing, there was a major leak in hot water pipe under the slab. Called 2 plumbing companies and got the estimate to re-pipe partial vs whole house. Decided to go with whole house re-piping. Then I got Phillip's # from one of our friend and thought would try him. He came in and looked at everything and provided his initial estimate for whole house re-pipe. Initial estimate was little bit higher than others but he agreed to match the lowest estimate, also he could offer to re-pipe the whole house in just one day rather than 4-5 days other guys had offered. I immediately asked him to start the next day. Even though he had another work at a new construction, since this is an emergency he said, he would contact the other guy to see if he can come over to my home the next day. Within 20 minutes, he confirmed that he would come the next day. Next day morning 3 guys arrived (two more guys joined in the evening for clean-up) and completed the whole task by 7 PM. In addition to that he was nice to fix some additional problems and install a hot water recirculation pump without any extra charge. Overall it was an exceptional experience. So glad that we found PVD plumbing (Phillip and his employees were the nicest guy to work with) and will use them for any future needs.

No need to look elsewhere! Guaranteed honest, responsive and phenomenal group of knowledgeable plumbers. Moved in to my new house in Long Beach and had Federico come by for a free estimate on how much a home improvement project would be to relocate the washer & dryer hookups into the back of my home. With the life of the home (close to 100 years), I then asked him to come back out which was a super quick turnaround and he reviewed my pipes and suggested to repipe the whole home since they were original galvanized steel and could be leaking rust and other particles into our water. He then came back out and repiped the whole home (1 bed 1 bath) in a matter of a morning with a team of 7! Easy for them! Fair price relative to another company who priced me $3k more for the same job. Genuine workers who act as if they are performing work on their own homes. Will definitely be calling them for any further plumbing needs!

We had the best experience with PVD plumbing just recently. Our water heater went out and I couldn't get the pilot to light. Phillip quickly assessed the issue over the phone and sent a plumber to replace my water heater within a couple hours. I have 3 little ones so having hot water is critical. Phillip understood and quickly made things happen even with a full day already on the schedule. Frederic was our plumber and he did a superb job. He was respectful, very professional and knowledgeable. He installed a brand new water heater quickly and efficiently and we were back in action.
