Daniel was courteous on the phone and offered to do a free on-site troubleshooting first.

After the initial troubleshooting and calling to the water heater company, he was able to get a free replaced part from the manufacturer from the warranty. He then give me a very reasonable quote for the labor needed. After we agreed, he went to get the parts and replace it all right away.

Daniel's honesty, professionalism and service definitely deserves five star. I highly recommend Daniel !

Another 5 star review for Daniel and ProMax. I do a ton of research on everything before I make a purchase - and that was the same when I decided to replace my 20+ year old 40 gallon gas water heater. I went to Yelp and Google when it was time to find someone to replace my old water heater with a more efficient and space saving tankless water heater. I read a ton of great reviews about Promax and I appreciated that Daniel, the owner and master plumber did all the work. From start to finish, he was straight forward, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. No pressure sale and very reasonable prices for quality workmanship. I ended up also adding an Aquasana whole house (no salt) water softener & filtration system to help battle the hard water and chloramine in our San Diego tap water. Daniel was great at keeping me updated on delivery and install - and punctual on our install day. In 6 hours Daniel and his assistant had everything installed and up and running. I found Daniel and ProMax on yelp. I contacted him via yelp and he responded right away. Was able to come same day to take a look at the leaking tankless water heater. He took care of ordering the part from the company (it was under warranty still) and as soon as it arrived, he came over to fix it so that we could get our hot water back quickly! Water Heater needed replacing and out of about 10 different quotes ProMax was the most reasonable with great reviews. They worked with my small window and short notice fitting me in the very next day. Vladimir was very knowledgeable and professional and explained all my questions given Im naive to everything plumbing. He efficiently completed the job in about 2 hrs and there was no hidden or additional costs-I was charged what I was quoted. I needed to replace a leaky water heater fast and Daniel took care of me. I noticed the leak in the evening and began getting quotes via Yelp from a few plumbers. Daniel was the first to respond.

I was comforted by the fact that he asked for a picture of our existing unit, so he could see the setup before he provided the quote.

After trading emails a few times (which he responded to very promptly), The next morning, I compared his quote to the others and he came in with the best price for the entire job (including the water heater, drip pan, new water supply lines, ball valve if needed, gas sediment trap, gas valve, flex gas line, and an expansion tank.

He arrived on the job as promised and did meticulous work. Everything was cleaner than he found it.

You rely heavily on reviews? Well so do I. ProMax did an outstanding job replacing my bathroom faucets. Easy communication with Daniel via email and text and the quote he gave me was the quote he charged. George knew how to get to my place without getting lost (which happens a lot to other people) and did a stand up job. Cleaned up after himself which is a plus and was very courteous.

Great service, flexibility, and reasonable pricing. I work an hour away so I couldn't be home, but I discussed a way for them to access my tankless water heater that needed flushing as well as to diagnose some other issues. They texted me when they arrived, and called me after the flushing was done, and they called the manufacturer to determine what was wrong with it without additional charge. They were up front with their pricing so I was able to just leave them a check where they can find it.
One-time charge and they simply went over and beyond the service call!!

I strongly recommend ProMax and its owner, Daniel. Right from the start he was incredibly communicative with setting up a time that worked for me and was punctual and respectful when he arrived. Even before I walked outside to meet with Daniel, he already uncovered an unrelated issue involving a whole-house water purification system (Halo5) that was installed improperly by another plumber almost a year ago (that has since been replaced for free by that older plumber, who was very embarrassed!). Daniel gave me a very honest quote and solid recommendation for the tankless water heater system that fit my family's needs. He then followed up by keeping me up to date with scheduling the job and then showed up and did excellent work in removing the faulty unit with a new one. Hiring a company to work on your home can certainly induce some anxiety so it's a real pleasure to find one that provides good service throughout the relationship. Our tank waterheater was years past its warranty and we wanted to go tankless. Danny from ProMax came out, sized up the job, answered all my questions, provided recommendations on brand and size and promptly created an estimate that could be viewed/signed online. On installation day they arrived, did the job and cleaned up well. Again, answering all my questions and giving me a briefing on the new unit. I never felt he was rushed to get to the next job or impatient with my questions. He even took his time to work out how the condensation drain could be routed behind all my garage junk so they wouldn't have to run the line outside and along the house. This was a man who cares are doing a job well, not just getting it done.

Probably the most honest home service company I've dealt with...and I'm a house manager/assistant, so I deal with a A LOT of different service companies daily .

They came out for an initial estimate for a water heater issue (thought it was installed incorrectly and was a fire hazard- according to another company who quoted me RIDICULOUSLY high [$3k+] for what I saw as a pretty minor repair/fix)

1. They initially quoted me 1/3 of the price I received from the other company, so I was happy already...

2. Then about a day after they came for the initial estimate, I got an email saying that someone else was going to come out (for free again) to double check and make sure there was an actual issue before doing anything.

3. The owner was the one who came out this time, and he confirmed that there was no issue with the venting/exhaust after all (it was a brand/model that happens to be installed differently than most others).

Great service and experience, definitely recommend them for anything water heater related!!

Neat and very precise installation of a Navien tankless water heater; they actually used a level on the copper pipes before soldering! They also neatly painted the roof vent to match all my other vents (I went to get the matching paint as they worked); they carefully covered the surrounding area with painters tape and plastic. They covered the garage floor and the surfaces on which they stepped or laid tools.
I got three bids from licensed plumbers listed on the Navien website after checking licenses on the CSLB as well as Yelp reviews. All three bids were identical; the only difference was the aesthetics of the proposed installations. I asked a lot of questions as to exactly what I would visually see at completion. The other installers proposed uglier installations which made their job easy. Danny was the only one who took the time to do a thorough inspection of the roof vent and propose a plan A and a plan B for a roof venting method that would meet Navien installation specifications. I called Navien to ascertain his unusual idea met their specifications as he was the contrarian. Plan B would have cost $300 more and he came prepared to do it; it turned out plan A worked, saving me money.
The other installers (couldn't think outside the box) said plan A wouldn't work, wouldn't even attempt it, and proposed an ugly vent right near my front door. If you care about a precise and optimally attractive installation I highly recommend ProMax. Hiring Danny was a no brainer - everything to gain and nothing to lose.
Caution: Don't assume that any licensed C36 plumber can install a tankless properly. Once I discovered the Navien website list of trained installers and started calling Navien to ask questions I realized the first bid I received (from a plumber not on the list) was an unsafe and risky method solely designed to make the installation cheap and easy. You are dealing with gas and therefore the potential for monoxide exposure; make sure you hire someone who is certified by Navien!

Thank you to Daniel and Promax for promptly responding to my quote request. He came out within the next few days which was great for a free consultation. He asked why we wanted to go with a tankless and why electric.. He said I wouldn't go electric without solar.. Great recommendation and he was there to give us the right solution. We wanted our eye sore large gas heater off our patio.. We kept the tankless in the same location which as long as the big aluminum structure is off our patio.. We're happy. Daniel was so wonderful to work with! We had to cancel on him two different times due to our illnesses. By the time we called again (with a vacation in there also), it was a few months since I had first contacted him. I thought he'd think we were flakey and not want to try a third time. But he was so nice and professional about scheduling again. I liked that he texts timely.

When we finally had our appointment, he was on time, considerate and professional. He explained everything he was doing or had done. He drained/cleaned our Navien tankless water heater, checked a sink for any clog, caulked our bathroom sink, removed a hot water reservoir under the sink, and replaced an odd Toto toilet flapper that was all one piece (not like the normal ones we usually replace ourself). He worked quickly, neatly, and considerately.

We have been through about three other plumbers since moved here 4 years ago and were not satisfied - but now we have found our forever plumber!! You can't go wrong with with Pro Max!!

We got at least 4 quotes on replacing a tankless waterheater at our house. Daniel was the most prompt of all of the plumbers, and he came in with the low bid. He also was able to install it faster than other plumbers had said they could. We wanted a water circulator in order to decrease the wait for hot water to our taps. That was driving the bids we were getting sky high. Daniel came up with a far cheaper alternative that has worked extremely well. He also did a magnificent job installing the new tankless heater. He also built me a holder for my outdoor hose, which shares the same cabinet as the heater. I have never seen a worker leave a job cleaner or tidier than Daniel did. I obtained multiple quotes for replacing our existing tank water heater with a tankless, which included relocating the water heater from the detached garage to the main house. Daniel provided me with different options depending on whether I wanted a recirculating unit. ProMax's bid was the most competitive and clearly laid out the work to be completed.

Daniel and George did an awesome job installing our Navien 210a and we are thrilled with the unit. After the install, Daniel walked me through how to make adjustments to the unit and answered all my questions.

Our water heater sprung a leak and needed replacement. I've never had to deal with a water heater replacement before and momentarily toyed with the idea of doing it myself. Home depot and Lowe's didn't carry the type I needed (power vent) so I conceded to the idea that someone else would have to handle this as I didn't really know where to shop for these things other than the majors.

I called Bill Howe as they had free on-site inspection/estimates. The guy shows up and takes one look and says, These models are really expensive then came back with a ridiculous estimate. I laughed as he quoted $1900 for the water heater itself not including labor and parts which I knew was almost a 100% mark-up having researched prices earlier.

I then hit up yelp and did the request a quote thing to six different plumbers. Daniel responded first with a quote that shined an even larger light on how gouging the Bill Howe people were. He even said he could get it done the same day even though it was late in the day July 3rd right before the holiday.

I accepted and Daniel called and said he'd be here in about an hour which he was, exactly. He worked diligently and answered all my questions. He gave me advice on maintaining our new water heater. What he quoted was what he charged. He even brought to my attention a water pressure problem we have, which I already knew about and which I'm having him come back and fix in a couple days for us.

From all the other quotes I eventually received later in the day after Daniel was already finished with the job, Daniel's price was the most reasonable and prompt. I'm not a huge yelper but I'll take the time when I had a truly great or truly awful experience. Daniel was great and I feel fortunate for crossing his path as I now know who my plumber is if anything else arises.

Before retiring, I was a Deputy Atty. General who prosecuted licensed and unlicensed contractors who preyed upon CA consumers. I know what the laws and regulations governing the CSLB are and what constitute best practices in the contracting, and other consumer service industries. From the get-go, Daniel exemplified those practices. His written estimate was detailed and timely, and showed a thorough knowledge of the local building code governing installation of my new water heater. He responded to my inquiries promptly and on point, in a clear and understandable way, and was familiar with the installation and operation of the Rheem 40 gal. gas heater I bought and he installed. When it came time for him to do the preliminary inspection of the job, he was on time and, even though it was approaching dinnertime, volunteered to pick up my new heater from the retailer, install it, and haul the old one away then and there, all of which he accomplished to perfection. Once done, he even installed a new hose to my kitchen sink faucet, though it was past dinnertime; that also was done quickly and properly. His prices were fair and reasonable, and his demeanor was professional; he clearly knows his business, and gave me some good advice on resetting my water softener settings to avoid salt buildup. Highest recommendation for a professional whom it was a pleasure to work with, and who will surely have a long and successful career.

I am a committed DYI perfectionist but replacing our tankless water was a more complicated job than I wanted to take on. I has originally called payless water heaters they quoted 1 price over the phone when representative gave me an estimate it was more than double what I was quoted. I wish I could give Daniel TEN stars!! In the past year, he has, replaced my tankless water heater, replaced my kitchen faucet, cleared up a small problem with a dishwasher install (that a major appliance store installed) and then today he replaced a drain pipe in the bathroom sink of my 71 year old home. The old pipe was very heavy cast iron, he replaced it with a new plastic pipe. I had only just recently noticed that I had a leak (inside the wall) when the drywall under the sink started to erode. This problem could have gotten a lot worse for me. Thank God for Daniel! He came on time, assessed the problem, figured out the best way to proceed and after explaining everything to me, he quickly and beautifully made the repairs. Surprised we didn't have a 5 Star experience given other reviews. We had three issues going on. The plumber managed to fix the simplest issue (replace cutoff valves). The other two issues he just told my dad he couldn't fix or didn't know how to fix. Maybe they were particularly complicated but a I don't know doesn't warrant five stars. I don't know but here's the information of someone who might would have yielded a better review. My dad said he just appeared to be in a rush and wanted to do whatever was quick and if it was going to take time he wasn't interested.

If I could give them 6 stars I would ! My hot water heater broke while I was out of town of course. When I got back to San Diego I called several estimates for a new Hot Water heater. All of the companies said I could not fit at 40gal heater in the space even though my old one was 50 gal. None of them offered. A heater with the WiFi capability to adjust my water heater from my iPhone as well as turn on vacation mode from any Mobil device as well as get alerts if here is a leak or problem on my Mobil devises.
I called ProMax and Daniel answered immediately. I gave him the measurements of my hot water heater and he thought he could definitely fit the 40gal in the space and offered to bring a second size just in case. He came over in just one hour from the call with two hot waters in his truck. He was able to instal the 40 gal unit I wanted with the Wifi no problem. He replaced a couple older pipes and had it installed quickly. He even helped me set up the wireless controls and made sure everything was working great before he left. He did an excellent job and his work looks great.
Daniels work was professional and thorough and his prices were very reasonable. He went above and beyond my expectations and will definitely recommend him to all my friends!

Great experience with ProMax and Daniel in the installation of a new tankless water heater, to replace a standard water heater!

I collected 4 bids and Daniel was the most competitive on a Navien tankless system. Because of my work schedule he did the install on a Saturday. He showed up right on schedule and got the job done professionally with no issues or surprises.

Because I was transitioning from a standard water heater to a tankless, I had a lot of questions, especially on how to incorporate my smart plug recirculating pump. Daniel was very patient with my questions and even contacted the manufacturer to research some of my questions.

Daniel was awesome from the beginning! I requested a quote for a water filter installation and he reached out within minutes. He also was competitive with pricing and was able to match what the water filtration system company quoted me. I would rather hire an entrepreneur than a large company any day!

He was extremely communicative, from scheduling, to giving me a time window to even letting me know when he was en route.

Just prior to his arrival, I checked under the sink and what I thought was a soap dispenser was actually an air gap for the dishwasher. I had told him he wasn't going to have to make a hole in the countertop but I had just realized that I was wrong. Daniel was super nice about it and still honored the price he quoted even with this extra work. He is really honest and reliable, and I truly appreciate him helping me out when he could have charged me more.

As for his work, he did an awesome job and was quick! I don't think it even took him an hour. Also, he's very clean and tidy, which was a plus.

We hired ProMax to replace our existing tank water heater. It was preventative as our old one was 16 years old. Daniel responded and gave us a very competitive quote to replace the existing tank and to bring everything up to current code. The timeline of quote to installation was very quick (2-3 days since we weren't in an emergency). The install and removal of the old tank took about 2.5hrs. Daniel was very friendly, a hard worker, and honest. I highly recommend ProMax will use them again for all other future plumbing needs.

I hired Daniel at ProMax to help with the plumbing of a master bathroom remodel. The job included installation of a high-end toilet, capping some existing lines, doing the rough and finish plumbing for a trough sink on a floating vanity and a shower, and boring out a channel to run water/drain lines in a concrete slab for a new free-standing tub. Each piece was very custom and had unique challenges that arose over the course of the job. Daniel was extremely responsive and ready to go above and beyond to figure out the intricacies of each piece of the project and reach a great solution. The tub was also ridiculously heavy (550lbs) and Daniel and his team were willing and able to carefully move and install the tub without any issues. So impressed with this business!

From the moment I contacted ProMax, I have been impressed. Daniel was responsive to my email and scheduled an at-home free estimate within the week. He arrived on time, wearing his mask and answered all of our many questions with ease and patience. Daniel promised three written estimates to help us make the decision on which tankless hot water heater unit we'd like to purchase. After he left, both my husband and I decided it was a no-brainer to use Pro Max, and eagerly awaited our estimates. True to his word, our estimates arrived within 24 hours. We had a couple more questions before making our decision and Daniel was very helpful in answering them right away. We made our choice and Daniel scheduled our install within the next week.

Daniel is one of the kindest, most genuine business men out there. The bottom of my parents' kitchen sink sprung a leak and we didn't know what to do. The mildew smell was overwhelming and we knew it was time for a professional to come and check out. Our water heater was old and started leaking quite a bit. We were contemplating going with a tankless for various reasons and look into costs. Based on our budget, we could do it and now needed to find a reputable business to take care of this replacement.

I typically go through reviews before contacting businesses and ProMax seemed to have exceptional service. While the initial contact took a little bit of time to get a response, speaking to Daniel, it sounded like a good fit for what we needed. Plus, he was able to dispatch one of his guys within a few hours as we were needing this taken care of ASAP before the problem got worse.

Alex came, was very professional and his work was great. It took a little longer than anticipated but he was also accommodating where I wanted the tankless and reconfiguring the pipes.

After talking to multiple plumbing companies and receiving multiple quotes, I seleted ProMax to replace my father's Hot Water Heater for at least $350+ less than the other quotes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PROMAX!!! They are my go to plumber from now on! Daniel, the owner, sent two of his crew to my father's house for installation, Danny and sadly, I forgot the other guys name. The were both courteous and professional wearing masks the whole time. It took them quite a bit longer to install the water heater because the water heater needed to installed on an 18 stand per current building codes and the place the the water heater was installed was in very tight quarters between a cabinet and clothes dryer in a corner of the garage. The labor to install the hot water heater was a flat rate and even though it took them much longer than normal, the cost remained the same. They said this was one of their more difficult installs. They changed out the hot and cold water lines and cold water shut off value and gas line, plus added a water heater strap as part of the flat rate installation costs, no extra charge for those parts. When Danny and his co-worker finished the job they told me to please call them if my dad or I had any problems or had any questions. Another plumber was going to charge for the water lines, gas line, heater strap and cold water shut off value plus they had an hourly rate, but couldn't even give me an estimate as to how long it would take, they were also going to charge me for the time to pick up the hot water heater, stand and disposing of the old water heater as well. If I would have gone with that company it would have cost at least $400 more. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AT LEAST GET A BID FROM PROMAX BEFORE SELECTING A PLUMBER. Daniel, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and patient and will answer all of your questions. I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR FINDING AND HIRING PROMAX!!!

Daniel recently installed a whole house Pelican Combo Filter and Water Conditioner to eliminate chloramines and hard water, paired with a reverse osmosis system for fluoride and other impurities that may exist in municipal water. I shopped all around for tankless water heaters comparing all the products on the market. When I dialed in the Navien system, I went to their website for authorized dealers. Dan answered my call on a Friday evening after 5 and came over that day to give me a quote. His price was the most reasonable, but his service was over the top. My PRV needed replacing as well as a faulty cartridge in the shower that was leaking. Dan stayed until after 8 taking care of all the unexpected surprises and then came back the next day to correct the system problems. Honest and Reliable!!!

Daniel helped me with my hot water problem. He was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem for me quickly. He explained the different scenarios of what the issue might be and quickly ruled out a few of the them based on the tests he conducted. In the end, he was able to fix the problem and, luckily for me, it was the most inexpensive solution to the issue.

My 10 year old tank water heater finally quit. I made an appointment with a top ranked tankless installation company, with ProMax and one other company. The other tankless company has packages that supposedly eliminate the bid process - but my bid was higher than the package range. And it felt like they were looking to upsell to the higher packages.

Daniel at Promax was excellent. He carefully evaluated my situation, figured where the vents would go if I went tankless, where the unit could be installed, and gave me a price that was well below the competitor.

Daniel saved me $2700. I have a 15-year old Takagi tankless water heater that had not been serviced until this year. It was beginning to cut out during showers, and making a loud kaboom sound when it started up each time (yes, scary). I used Yelp and called someone (not ProMax) with hundreds of 5-star ratings. They came out and worked on the unit, along with Takagi service people on the phone. They did not fix either problem, but did send me an estimate on replacing the unit. I called another Yelp listing with hundreds of 5-star ratings, and they said it would be a waste of time to repair it with a band-aid solution, and gave me another $3000 estimate on replacement.

So, as a last effort, I called ProMax and Daniel came out and fairly quickly fixed the kaboom problem. He said that doing a descaling might be in order. So, after giving a few weeks to see if the kaboom ignitions were really solved, I called Daniel and set up the descaling appt. It was difficult, since my unit had not been plumbed with descaling in mind. But, $300 later, my unit works like new. It has been a week, and I no longer have to turn on the hot water at the sink to make sure my hot water continues to stay on in the showers. And, he didn't need to have Takagi on the phone to walk him through either of these procedures. This guy knows what he is doing!

I came home from school today, to a leaking water heater. I called around with no success. I called ProMax and Left a message. Daniel called right back and we got straight to business. He came out and replaced my 25year old heater...from start to finish it was under 2hrs. The callback time was about 10min, and his arrival was about 1hr. For the owner himself to come out once we knew it was an emergency speaks volumes to his attentiveness to the client. Highly recommend PROMAX!!!!

I looked up Yelp for a licensed contractor to replace a leaky water tank. After a few calls and quotes, and quick visit to HD, I was lucky to find Daniel. We needed a new water heater. I reached out to some Yelp plumbers who had good reviews. Daniel was the first to reply to me. He gave me a quote of $1200 to install a 50-gallon water heater. Although he wasn't available for the install that day or the next, he had a technician who he said is also a licensed plumber who would come that same afternoon. His price was good and they were quick to respond. I did not get the quote in writing, it was all verbal. (That was my bad.) His technician, Vladimir, arrived about the time they promised, he quickly removed the old water heater and installed the new one. He cleaned up in the area where he worked. He showed me how to work the new water heater. The water got hot. All good stuff. Then Vladimir said I could give him the check for the $1200. I said I was going to pay with credit card. He said okay, I could give that to Daniel.

That evening, Daniel called me to say he quoted me a price assuming i would pay cash. He'd have to add 3% on for the cost of using a credit card. I told him it was unfortunate that I didn't get the quote in writing and that he didn't clarify that he expected a cash payment. He said he was sorry he hadn't done that. I asked that he give me a chance to see how much cash we could get together. The truth is that the additional $36 wasn't that big a deal, but it was disturbing to have him come back and change the rules after the transaction had been completed. The next day I received a text via yelp from Daniel apologizing for the inconvenience and that he would not charge the 3% service fee. (I'm guessing at this point that someone told him the credit card companies don't allow vendors to pass on credit card fees to customers, but I don't know that.) Then I received the invoice for $1,250. I asked him if that was the service fee rounded up. No, he texted, that was what he originally quoted. Didn't I remember that? No, I told him. It was $1200. I wrote it on my pad when I was getting the quotes originally. I went ahead and paid the $1,250 invoice. Daniel then came back and offered to credit back the $50 when I told him that the original quote was $1,200. I think the lesson for me here is to get the quote in writing. I hope the lesson for Daniel is to tell people on the front end if he is quoting a different price for cash vs credit.

Daniel was quick to respond. He gave a good price. I would have been happy to pay the $1,250 if that had been the original quote. And I appreciated all of the timeliness and quality of work.

I'll start off by saying by saying that I received bids from 4 other vendors before moving forward with my project. Daniel and ProMax, were very reasonable in their pricing. I contacted Daniel last week for installation of a new garbage disposal and to flush a water heater. He responded very quickly and we booked an appointment for the following week.

This morning he contacted my girlfriend when he was on the way to our condo and arrived on time. Within 1 1/2 hours of arriving he had installed the new garbage disposal and flushed the water heater. In addition, my girlfriend asked him to look at a bathtub spout that was wiggling slightly and he fixed it for free.

Daniel was amazing. He was responsive and great at communicating with us throughout the repairs. Our tankless water heater stopped working and he came out to assess the unit the very next day (we called later in the afternoon). We ordered the necessary part and as soon as it arrived he returned to install it. I had no idea who to call or how much the repairs would cost and I had seen other people in a Pacific Beach Facebook group say that Promax was awesome. If we ever have any plumbing issues I'd call him in a heartbeat! Its's hard to find a reliable repair service out of the blue, so you tend to rely on reviews/ feedback. I emailed Daniel at 10:00pm on a Friday night hoping for a reply on Saturday, heard back within 15 mins that night or less. Called on Saturday, quoted a time and price, showed up on time that afternoon, priced as quoted, no overselling or anything.

Replaced my heavily leaking 50gal water heater quickly (under 2 hours), gave me a lot of suggestions for maintenance, couldn't have been more professional or nicer. Found my new plumber. Highly suggest using him for your plumbing needs and I'll have him back for some changes and other things I want to do as well.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about tankless water heaters (most plumbers aren't!). He not only troubleshot to get to the root cause and fixed my problem (a burst heating element), he also educated me about the system that I have, best practices to extend the life of it, and what he was doing as he went through troubleshooting. Customer service is A++. Also showed up on time and is a great communicator. I will DEFINITELY call Daniel again when I need help with plumbing.

I got a few quotes to replace my old direct water heater that was already on borrowed time. Daniel from Pro Max was prompt to respond over the Yelp app and eventually came and provided a quotes that were very reasonable compared to what I had other vendors quoted me at. After meeting him, I was confident that he could perform the job. He provided me various options I had to choose from including attempting to find another direct vent water heater to replace the current one with along with a non-condensing tankless water heater and a condensing tankless water heater. After going over the pros and cons of each, I chose the condensing Navien NPE-210S water heater based on Daniel's recommendation of my current gas line setup and durability of the unit. He was able to perform the work the same week after the quote was provided and the job took about 6 hours. During the straightforward install we realized that my pressure regulator for the entire condo was not functioning correctly and he was also able to install a new one in the midst of the tankless water heater job. Daniel made sure to cover all indoor walking paths with plastic covering to ensure my wood floors would not get dirty/damaged. He also vacuumed and cleaned up all the areas he perform work under. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the work that Daniel provided and would use him for any sort of plumbing needs in the future. The water heater so far is working out perfectly and the labor/parts warranty that came with the install has instilled additional confidence that any issues that may occur the future would be taken care of.

I needed a good plumber to replace a leaking water heater on short notice on a Saturday.
I found Pro-max through Thumbtack when Daniel, the owner, responded to my request. Pro-max was one of several quotes that I received. I was immediately impressed with Daniel's professionalism and quick response. He was the only respondent who was available on a Saturday, and offered the best price for the Rheem water heater that I needed. Work is excellent. I am an architect and have worked with many contractors over 25 years, and Daniel's work is top notch! Plus, he is reasonably priced, and very neat. You won't have to clean up the jobsite afterwards which is atypical of contractors unless you insist. I found Daniel to be very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and creative with problem solving. I just recently had a water softener installed, and was concerned about anchoring it to the wall which required drilling and potentially cracking the existing siding which is a thin fiber cement board that is no longer available on the market. He came up with a solution to bury the tanks which is nice and stable without touching the wall and will not corrode underground. All copper piping is straight and joints well connected so I am very pleased with the installation. Before the softener installation, he also performed the maintenance on my tankless water heater. Again, he was very efficient and work well done. I have complete confidence in Daniel and highly highly highly recommend him! He will be my go to for all my future plumbing needs.

We used ProMax to replace an old, rusty garbage disposal. He came out on time, good communication via phone, and replaced the disposal in about 20 minutes. His price was very reasonable and the work performed was high quality. He cleaned up afterward and even took the old garbage disposal with him so we didn't have to worry about how to recycle the old appliance.

I had a problem with my garbage disposal and called like 4 plumbers in my area. These guys were the only ones to call back right away. They quoted me a very fair price on a replacement everyone else that called back was at least $75 more. They said they could be out to my place in a hour and a a half with a new unit. When they got there and took a look they said that it was an easy fix and repaired my unit. I really appreciate the honesty because they totally could have said you need a new unit. Very good plumber and service I'm glad to have contacted ProMax. They installed a tankless water heater/whole house water system. All was straightforward, fair price, no gimmicks or pressure, just straight professional. Very clear on steps for install. Showed up prompt for estimate and installation. Took away old heater and cleaned up after.

I've been using tankless water heater for about 6-7 months, it is a different way then regular water heater. You do have to wait ~20 secs for hot water, depends on which facets, etc. You do have to be aware of what is using water, ie shower, washer, dishwasher etc, there's a significant drop in water flow. But you never run out of hot water, never...ever..

Whole house water filter was done so cost of maintaining tankless water heater would roll into much better water quality overall. Tankless water heater has you doing once a year vinegar flush or changing whole house water filters every 6 months..and you get good water all over.

Highly satisfied with everything and highly recommend if you are looking for a plumber...go with Daniel!

Wow. I can't even begin to express how thankful I am that my fiancee and I called this company. We initially called Bill Howe when our water heater wasn't working. The folks at Bill Howe said we needed a new one without really even trying to fix it and told us a new one was $4K. I wanted to get a second opinion and my sister recommended that I call ProMax. He was also considerate and wore a mask for Covid-19 during the quote and when he installed my tankless water heater. Our 10 year old tankless water heater had been leaking and was out of warranty. We called several companies for quotes to replace our unit. We found Pro Max (Daniel) and his response was quick and he offered to come over and look at the unit, no charge. His bid for a new tankless was very competitive and he was able to remove our old unit and install the new one quickly. We were never without hot water, which is what some of the other companies told us we would have a day or two without.
It was over the holidays and he made it happen. The installation was clean and professional. I would not hesitate to use Daniel/Pro Max again for our plumbing needs.
