Phil Peterson Plumbing

I have 2 condos that I rent in San Diego and have always (for years) called Phil when my tenants call with any plumbing issues. So happy that I found him. He's quick and fair. I know that everything will be taken care of and the bill will be very reasonable. He has changed faucets, replaced garbage disposals, replaced a 35+ year old water heater and much more. I highly recommend his service.

Sorry to have to write this review since Phil is such a nice guy and very communicative. He's retired now and unfortunately the plumber he's handed his business to, Gabriel, leaves a lot to be desired. He does good work when you can get him. But he doesn't return calls or texts in a timely manner, frequently cancels appointments and doesn't follow up when he says he will. Had to give up and call someone else.

Phil has been helping me with my plumbing and heating for over 7 years. I trust him completely and on several occasions have left my key for he and his staff to come in and do the repairs when I was unavailable to let then in. They are always neat and tidy and I hardly know they have been here. CALL THEM NOW!

We needed a big plumbing job done - main line had to be serviced? (lol) Glad I called these guys to do the work. Yes, the price was painful, but I had called around and theirs was one of the lowest. They did the job is a reasonable amount of time, they cleaned up afterwards, and it seems like they did the job right! I will call again if I need any plumbing service and I recommend you call them for all your plumbing needs.

Hi, I just want to do a shoutout to Gabriel Vallejo at Peterson Plumbing.
He was super knowledgeable, honest and fair priced. He went beyond the service of most plumbers and checked all over the house for my leak even though it wasn't part of his job. He then explained thoroughly the reason for it so I understood before fixing it. And I was not gouged by his price. It was fair and under 200 for alot of work. So I highly recommend. I will def call them again.

My family goes to Phil for all our plumbing needs. He is fast knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I can guarantee you'll be as happy with him as I have been.

Phil is a great plumber. I have used him for many jobs over the years. He recently replaced the galvanized pipes in my house with copper. I like how he has an eye for detail. When he has a suggestion, it isn't to make an extra buck, it's to make sure the job is done right. He is skilled, professional & dependable. If you are looking for an excellent plumber, call him.

Phil and his team did all the rough- in for our recent remodel - all at fair prices and with great communication and reliability. They did gas lines, ABS drain modifications (including a roof penetration) and ran new copper a couple of places as we switched our laundry location around a bit.

Recently I asked Phil to come over and look at my tub faucet as it was dripping. Instead of taking my money, he showed me how I can do this job myself in less than an hour - and didn't charge me a dime for the visit.

His son Keith came to install a water line for the refrigerator. He is polite, friendly, knowledgeable and did a good clean job. Would call him again if needed.

I hired Phil to install a bathtub and shower faucet in my rental apartment. His work was timely and of good quality. Best of all the price was much better than the other quote and very reasonable. I called him since for another problem and he gave me advice so I could fix it myself. Priceless! Phil is highly recommended.

Amazing! Gabriel Vallejo has taken over the business but has been trained by and worked with Phil for 20 years. He stepped right up and replaced the stem on my frozen bathroom sink faucet for a very reasonable price in only half an hour. Just wow. It was a very challenging job due to the awkward angles of the custom vanity but he made it work. Just a little background, my neighbor who is an engineer and has built homes tried to replace the faucet stem for me but wasn't able to, even after calling in his experienced uncle. It turns out that Gabe was able to recognize the newer design on the faucet and pop it right out. The only problem is that it works so well!, that I now realize I need to replace the other three stems which are starting to also freeze up. I would never have realized until it was too late but now I can proactively order the stems and have him replace them! 100% recommend!
Also don't buy Moen Weymouth faucets, lol!

Phil Peterson is a throw back to the days of completely honest, low pressure, and full of advice plumber. I battled a clogged kitchen drain for two days. My pipe snake was not long enough and the chemical drain cleaner didn't seem to work. I called Phil, he came over the next day only to find out that the chemical drain cleaner finally did its magic. Phil then fixed my piping configuration under the sink and said Good Day without charging me! He's won my respect and business.

Phil is the BEST. He's handled the plumbing at our home and rental properties for over 15 years and he always does excellent work at a reasonable price. He's a really nice guy too. Highly recommended!

Phil is our plumber, he always answer's his phone or call right back. He is a very helpful person and haven't had any issue with his workmanship. I wish we can find more contractors like him!

After our previous plumber retired we started using Phil Peterson for our plumbing work. The last two jobs were done for us by Gabriel Vallejo who is an associate of Phil's. Gabriel's work is excellent, I recommend both him and Phil when you need quality work at a reasonable price.

This is probably the best plumber I've ever had: reliable, professional, honest and priced just right. He did a lot of work in my house and I will recommend him to all my clients in the future.

I worked with Phil as well and agree with everything everyone else has said. Phil helped me through a crisis when I had a hole in my mainline. Other plumbers wanted $195 just to look at it. Phil gave me a free estimate and charged me $250 for replacing the pipe to the driveway. He did exactly what he was said he was going to do. He also called me to let me know he was going to be a little late for our appointment, which allowed me to leave work a little later than planned.

Phil and Gabriel are incredible. Phil was recommended to me by my father's friend. He has come out and worked on our main sewer line which needed a huge repair.
