This is our second time calling Pacific Coast Leak Detection and we are pleased to leave another 5 star review. Response time was excellent. Colin is honest, professional, thorough, and personable. He really cares for his customers. We highly recommend Pacific Coast Leak Detection.

Responsive, thorough, honest service. Tested all pool plumbing and equipment. Needed to wait for draining pool for new plaster to test main drain under more than static pressure because water was extremely cold.  Leak was small and not obvious, and didn't draw dye. Colin made 3 trips to test at the original cost and didn't try to upswell abs he followed through. He also added temporary epoxy repair of possible contributing crack in plaster.

We had a different company out a year ago when we suspected a leak and they didn't find it. I again called that original company to have them come back out and they never returned my call. Neither did the 3 other Companies I called.

I got a referral from a friend to try Pacific Coast and Colin answered the phone on the 3rd ring (that alone gets 5 stars). He quickly arranged a time to come check the pool. He found the leak right away and fixed it a few days later.

You can tell he values his customers and strives to give them great service. His pricing was very reasonable and he was personable and professional. I

It's unfortunate that I had to call a leak detection company since my pool guy insisted there was a leak rather than noticing my auto fill was running constantly and that part needed to be replaced! The best part was that the gentleman from Pacific Coast Leak was so upfront and honest. I appreciated his frankness and at least I'm now sure that there's no leak.

Colin is my hero.  I woke up at 6am on Mother's Day to pounding on my door. A dog walker noticed I had a broken pipe in the front of my house and water was running down the street.  I reached out to Colin and he was on site and issue resolved by 10am!  He walked me thru the issue, fixed it, left me with his card and some guidance.  His services were reasonable.  I really appreciate his helping me in such a timely manner on Mother's Day.  I highly recommend Pacific Coast Leak Detection!

We called our leak detection specialist Colin because we have bubbles coming out from one of the return jets. We also noticed the pool water level was going down. As usual, Colin arrived on time and ran some tests. He found a leak in the suction line, next to the pump. We scheduled another appointment to fix the problem. I'm endorsing Colin again because he's very trustful, skillful and honest.

CALL THEM!! You will not be disappointed. Literally so glad I read the previous reviews. Collin is absolutely amazing so understanding and personable. The reality is not everybody has infinite amount of money to fix things right away. His prices were so reasonable. I called four different companies for leak detection and all of them wanted to charge me upwards from $600-$900 for leak detection only. At that Point I was like let's just drain the pool until the finances are available. I literally had done everything I could personally. He came, on time, communication was more than five star. Just genuinely a good person. Found the leak, I had an estimate in my email maybe an hour or two later. Again VERY reasonable. He will be my go to for every pool repair I need from here on out. Quick response, good communication, great work and very reasonable price! My old pool line was leaking underground and got it fixed and better than ever in a day.  Would highly recommend.

Colin is wonderful! He was very responsive and knowledgeable. He is easy-going, explains what he's doing, keeps in touch with updates, and even fixed my leaky waterhose pipe before he left. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. Plumbing and leak repair is a hassle and not cheap, but if you want excellent service, this is your guy!

They quickly returned our call and showed up later in the same afternoon. Their rates were reasonable and they took the time to explain what they were doing and how we could mitigate future problems. Collin has integrity and a wonderful work ethic. We would highly recommend his company to anyone that thinks they may have a water leak on their property (pool, plumbing, etc.).

Super fast to respond. He came out way faster than I expected. At first I thought the leak detection fee was a bit pricy but he spent the better part of 4 hours going through my pool checking everything. Very friendly, explains what he does and how it works, and takes pride in what he does. I'm looking forward to the repair when the weather gets better and things dry out. Would definitely recommend.

Reason for service: We have an in ground pool and after all the rain we got our pool must have shifted because we started loosing about 2-3 of water every 10 days.

Update: Colin came out today and repaired the pool. He takes his time and ensures that he is doing the best job he can. He does exactly what you want and is very clean with his work. Overall he's just a great guy and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. He was even going to charge me less than what we discussed but I was so pleased I ended up just paying him the full price.

Over the last ~2 years since we bought this fixer upper we have dealt with a lot of contractors and businesses (probably 20+). Colin is in the top 3 and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had an above ground plumbing leak on our pool at the worst possible time, on a weekend, and was flooding our backyard. Every place I called was closed, luckily Pacific leak detection was open! Colin came out on a Sunday to address the situation. He went above and beyond for us to repair the leak and we couldn't be more thankful. He was very professional, informative, and his pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I don't think I have ever had a workman of any kind with the professionalism knowledge and friendly with such good business practices as Colin!
  We have had a leak with the pool for a couple of years now.... pretty obvious it was something to do with the skimmers and one company came out said yes it is the skimmers , gave us a price. Of course we got a second opinion on the situation Colin was recommended from another company that was way to busy, had just met Him and did not know to much about him.
Colin came out the next day took a look at the situation gave us a price a bit higher then the other company, but because of his business friendly attitude we chose him.
To make along story short when he started to prepare for the skimmers replacement He called my daughter and said, now that the water is down and I am getting a closer look at these skimmers let's try resealing them ,they seem pretty solid now that I can check them closer! If it doesn't work, but I think it will get you through for awhile longer at least through the summer months....If it starts to leak again let me know and I will deduct the price you are paying today from the skimmer replacement total! Who does that???? He could have just went ahead and replace both skimmers for the  amount we had agreed on.... But He didn't to me that is a good business practice!
  So far the pool seems to be holding its own and it's been 3 days of hot weather I would be adding water again by now! Call Him if you need pool repairs! You will not be disappointed!

I can add that the boys left their basketball hoop in the middle of the driveway and he took it upon himself to move it for me (no clue how I would've done it myself). While watching him do it, I quickly KNEW I would not have been able to do it AT ALL. As he was ready to leave, he believed that he had cracked the base of the hoop and apologized profusely. We told him it was no problem but he would not let it go. Instead, he moved the hoop back to a safer place and patched the hole he thought he made. He was a cool dude start to finish.

Colin arrived quickly after we contacted him. We had a landscaping oops that was unexpected and punctured a copper water line that extends from our main house to an ADU in our back yard.

He arrived masked, was very friendly, and personable. He was able to strengthen the punctured park of the water line instead of cutting and coupling it back together.

We'll be calling Colin again for future plumbing needs.

Man........ so I call Colin yesterday to get a quote to send high pressure air through my skimmer line for my pool. Most companies would jump at the chance to make that money, but not Colin. He gave me a couple options to try on my own before even hiring him to do the job. He told me that even if I did hire him it would be a 50/50 chance of success. For me as a consumer i would rather someone be upfront and honest about their work. Mind you I had someone already come out that said he could do the job but was not able to but I still paid. Long story short Colin came to my house and on time and was able to get the job done with success. Highly recommend Pacific Coast because if you want an honest company he will tell you honestly if he can or cant get it done.  Thank you for coming out and getting my skimmer line unclogged!!!

Colin is fantastic! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional and helpful. He identified and repaired our water leak by our pool and we're now saving $200 on our water bill. Highly recommend!

The water level in my fiberglass pool was dropping about 2 inches everyday. I sent a message requesting a quote through Yelp and Colin responded within a few hours. He provided the cost, the details of the leak detection process and scheduled a visit 2-3 days later. He arrived promptly and completed the comprehensive leak detection process and explained the results. He found a problem with the sweep line. On pressure testing the sweep line, he found it was losing pressure. Upon further inspection he found a crack in the wall fitting glue joint. The area was dye tested and a leak was visually confirmed. Colin scheduled the repairs (within 5 days). On the day of the repair, he explained each step, providing updates as he worked. The bottom line is that Colin is professional, friendly (with many stories, which I enjoyed), and his prices are competitive. I recommend Pacific Coast Leak Detection, Inc. Colin was awesome! We had two companies assess a slab leak under our kitchen island and we ultimately decided to go with Pacific Coast Leak Detection. I'm so glad that we did. Colin was able to locate the leak and fix it without a full tear out of our kitchen floor. He only recommended what was absolutely needed unlike the other company. He was easy to communicate with and he even kept in direct contact with our insurance adjuster as needed. Colin was very professional, empathetic to our situation and respectful of our space. Colin, thank you for your responsiveness and for helping us restore water to our house as quickly as possible.

Colin was on time and on cost. The company is great at communicating with the customer and he took the time to run me thru all the scenarios to fix the issues with our pool. I went into hiring a leak detection specialist with hesitation. Pacific Coast Leak detection has many 5 star reviews and Colin earned every one of those including mine. Colin did a great job finding the leak and repairing the job. When I first found out the price for the leak detection I was worried everything was going to be so expensive, but in reality he was here for hours running multiple tests and making sure he didn't miss a thing. Not only that, he explained everything to me and answered all of my questions.

I just bought a house with a Pool in Brentwood and boy! Problems started the moment we moved in! It's everything breaking here and there, now the Pool doesn't hold water up to the skimmer and the automatic water fill valve doesn't shut off! It keeps running all day and night! I called every leak detection here in Yelp, i started with the most famous ones that's has a lot of 5 star reviews; and they are booked out and can't come same day or at least couple days! I'm super freaked out of the thought my Pool will cause structural damage; I dint give up and started looking on new company that are not that famous yet here in Yelp but has a good reviews and found Pacific Coast leak detection and send him a message ,I was skeptical happy when he said he can come by in the afternoon since he service Brentwood area!  I'm super glad he found the leak too! After all the pressure tests , spa test and whatever he's doing , I was glad he found the leak! He will need to cut the concrete unfortunately and fix the leak and replace the line where the leak is. Sad and happy cos of it but at least there is a solution for me to not loose all these water and money . Hope I won't get fine by the city for using too much water this month! to the yelpers out there , sometimes we look for a lot of positive reviews and go for a company that's has tons of it, you know what I proven myself wrong and was blessing that I went with pacific coast detection leak, Collin he was the owner that knows what his doing, and was very honest to me about the problem was and quoted me fairly to do the repairs whenever I'm ready financially, and offer a temporary solution till we figure out our finances.  But definitely will go

The City had informed me that I was using excessive water and they determined that I had a leak somewhere in my irrigation line.  After searching for a reputable leak detection company that was also licensed, I came across Pacific Coast Leak Detection on Yelp based on the great reviews I have read.  So I contacted them and got a quote immediately and Colin was able to come out on the same day to perform the leak detection.  Within hours he was able to locate the source of the leak in my system and able to come back the next day to get started on the work.  He was able to find and replace the leaking piping underground and got everything fixed and running again.  Colin is very knowledgeable and was professional throughout the whole process.  I would definitely use him again for future services.

Colin came out to check my pool. He ran multiple tests to figure out where the leak was coming from. He figured out it was from my pool skimmer, so there was no need to cut into the concrete. They're a few good honest contractors out there an Colin is one of them. I highly recommend him

I give Colin 5 plus stars for his outstanding leak detection service he provided at my home in Tracy on Oct 18.  He went above and beyond to test my Pool waterfall system and help prove to my pool contractor that the system was indeed leaking.  To confirm there was a leak was almost impossible other than the moisture spots that were visible on the stucco.  He tested various things and finally one of his tests showed a water line that confirmed a leakage inside the waterfall wall.   Thanks to his expertise and consistent testing I can now have my pool contractor fix this leak since the waterfall was just recently built and under warranty.  Thanks Colin!

Colin Marcee was terrific right from the beginning. Received a quick response to my first call, came out the next day to give an estimate. He is polite, professional and very knowledgable. While a number of pool guys told us the leak was in the skimmer, Colin brought his many detection tools and determined it is a break in some spa jets near the stairs. He dug up a small area, replaced the pipe, closed it up and re-covered the area (with the exact matching material) and the pool no longer leaks!  A professional leak detection company is a MUST. We came very close to hiring someone who wanted to charge us to replace the skimmer and we would have paid a lot of money and still had a leak. Thank you Colin! We couldn't be happier with your service!!!

Colin saved the day! We had an emergency leak in our irrigation system and needed a new shut off valve to disconnect the irrigation system from the main line. Although not a typical job, Colin was able to help in a pinch and was able to disconnect the irrigation system from the main line so we could have water. We are very happy and appreciate that Colin was able to help!

Wish I could give Colin 10 stars!  This guy is fantastic. I had been losing about an inch of water in my pool every day for about a month. I found his company on Yelp by reading the all the great reviews. Called Colin on a Saturday about noon. He came out that night at 6pm and spent a couple hours doing the leak detection. He found exactly where the leak was (nowhere near any of the areas I thought it might be).  He did the repair 3 days later and like magic no more leaks or water loss. He's very personable and explained the process thoroughly. Highly recommend his company for any of his services.

We had a leak that would reveal itself on the sidewalk flowing from the edge of our lawn.  I knew it was under the front porch patio because the immediate lawn area seemed to always be saturated, and was very soft to walk on.  That, and high water bills, we decided it was time to get this fixed.  I put a blast on Yelp and was able to speak with a few plumbers, who recommended hiring a Leak Detection Specialist since it was possibly under concrete.  They also explained how typically and frightfully expensive such a job would cost.  Unfortunately, it had to be done.  

In my research, I found the routine well known big companies who perform Leak Detection, but also found a newcomer in the business called Pacific Coast Leak Detection.  Pacific Coast Leak Detection seemed to have just been established with no reviews yet on Yelp.  In typical fashion, I was like, What the Heck! and gave them a call.  I spoke with Colin Marcee, who is the owner and operator of this new company.  Upon speaking with Colin, I learned that he had over a decade of experience in this field with many of those years at the big detection companies.  He is also scuba certified so he is able to find and service leaks in pools.  He took the time to answer all my questions and explained the leak detection process along with what to expect.  I made an appointment with him and he was able to come by that afternoon.

At the appointment, he went over the details in the process of finding the leak and what the repair would entail if it was under the concrete.  He was very honest, easy to talk to, knowledgeable in his field, and reassured his ability to pinpoint the leak.  He went ahead and pressurized the waterlines and proceeded to listen for the leak with his specialized detector.  After listening in for a bit, he marked an X where he suspected the leak was.  Unfortunately, it was under the concrete, as I had dreaded.  At this point, the leak detection part was complete and I had the choice of going with a company of my choice for the repairs or have Colin go to work on the leak.  I chose the latter and I made an appointment with Colin for the following day.  

The next day, Colin arrived to our appointment as scheduled.  After setting up, he attempted to go through the dirt and dig under the concrete in hopes of saving time and money by not going through the patio.  Unfortunately, it was not accessible and demo needed to be performed.  He went through the concrete and dug out the area to discover the leak was EXACTLY where he had placed his listening sensor, as can be seen in my picture upload.  He made the repair to the separated PVC joint with a series of right angle fittings to relieve potential torsional stress typically experienced with a single joint, which seemed to be the original cause of the leak.  Then, he retested the waterlines and the pressure was holding steady with no drop off.  Colin then backfilled the repair area and packed and leveled it with sand before finally pouring the concrete.  In addition, he applied color to the mix before pouring and finishing with a brushed texture in attempts to match the original concrete as close as possible.  When all was said and done, the final cost of the project was VERY reasonable, even undercutting the quotes I was receiving from the plumbers by more than a third!

I must say that I am Very Happy with this experience.  I am very glad I called Pacific Coast Leak Detection and am delighted that I can give them 5 Stars on their first Yelp review.  Hopefully, we will never encounter another issue where we will require their services, but in the event that we do, Pacific Coast Leak Detection will be our first call.

Had a pool leak at an unidentified location. Colin came out performed all of his testing but couldn't find the leak. We came to the conclusion that the leak was likely in the pool drain at the bottom of the pool so he put on his dive suit, dove down there, confirmed the leak and patched it with Epoxy. Very knowledgable and efficient. Highly recommend.

I noticed moisture build up around my pool decking.  After seeing so many positive reviews on Yelp,  I decided to give them a call.  Luckily they were doing a job in my area & were able to schedule me for a same day appointment.

Colin was able to fully inspect my pool and determine the source of the leak: cracks located within the top collar of my pool skimmer. He applied putty to seal, and gave further instruction as to how to prevent it from leaking in the future.  Fortunately it wasn't anything major or structural with the pool & the plumbing.

Colin was knowledgeable and made the process very simple and easy.   Fair pricing, prompt response, and efficient work - all qualities that are hard to find nowadays!

Shopped around for prices and he beat all of them. I had to call him back to have him come out and check my pool. He had an opening the following week from my call and he came out. He was professional and explained to me what he was doing. Im glad he was able to come out in a short time because I was worried when my pool was loosing so much water. In the midst of this hot &@# Summer, my pool plumbing decided to erode enough to the point where water started spraying everywhere and I could no longer sanitize the pool.  To add on to the fun, I needed someone to dig out concrete in order to change out the plumbing from copper to PVC.  I'm stingy and cheap to begin with, so this news obviously tickled my angry bone.

I reached out to Colin and he quickly diagnosed the issue, quoted a price that was more than reasonable, and was at my house less than a week after I originally contacted him.  The dude was punctual, friendly, and professional.  The work he and his team did was top-notch and due to him my raggedy kids will be back in the pool on no time.
