Oak Plumbing

The only reason Oak Plumbing is receiving two stars is because both plumbers that were assigned to us over the course of two weeks (for a few VERY basic projects) were courteous, positive, and generally respectful of us and our home. It's unbelievably amazing that the other reviews are positive, folks. Sit back - and ENJOY!

The first plumber assigned to us talked a really big game about how good he was and that he was studying for his Master Plumber exam in December. Well, he needs to keep studying. While I recognize everyone has a bad day, he had a bad two weeks until we had to call Oak to fire him and replace him with another plumber. We needed him to replace a shower cartridge, two sink pop-ups, a shower door seal/weather strip, some sink basin caulking, and flush our tankless water heater (routine maintenance). Over the course of two separate home visits, he was ONLY able to successfully and efficiently accomplish caulking of sink basins and fix a slow drip in our laundry room sink.

He claimed he wanted to do everything in one day, so he wanted to return in two days time. In the meantime, rather than trying to decipher what brand sink faucets we had, he encouraged us to simply replace them with new faucets. He said refurbishing existing faucets can be more expensive than simply buying new ones. We believed him. Well, if he actually would have attempted to decipher what brand they were (Rohl - VERY EXPENSIVE), he would know they are over $500 faucets and getting new parts would be significantly less expensive than buying new, similar faucets to match our bathroom. Not to mention, Rohl has a lifetime warranty on parts. After five minutes of online research, we called Rohl. They apologized to us and sent us three sets of brand new cartridges free of charge (one for each of our three-piece, widespread faucets).

When he FINALLY came back for the second visit (four hours late, even though Dispatch told me he would only be two hours late), he also realized he had the wrong shower cartridge and the wrong shower door weather strip. Wouldn't you want to take measurements or pictures ahead of time?

He attempted to fix one pop-up system but they actually got worse!! The plungers wouldn't open or shut. Shouldn't a plumber test them first? He got grease and crud on his hands and dusted them off in our Master toilet - and didn't even flush!

Once we fired him, I was told I'd get a call from the Operations Supervisor, Ariel, the following Monday. I never heard from him, so I called Oak on Tuesday demanding a call-back within two hours. He finally called and didn't even apologize. He told me he was going to assign a Master Plumber to the job and that he would show up at 8AM on Thursday. At 8:56AM, Ariel finally called me saying the plumber couldn't come for personal reasons, but that he would DEFINITELY be there Friday.

On Friday, a completely different plumber showed up and Ariel never even bothered to tell me it was going to be a different plumber. It turns out, Andrew is the only employee we worked with who actually shouldn't be fired.

Once the job was finally completed, I was called to collect payment without even getting an invoice, which I then had to request. Except when I called them back, their VOICEMAIL BOX IS FULL - and they didn't even know it! The invoice included a line item for a $49 evaluation fee, which clearly indicated was to be waived if Oak Plumbing won the job - which they did. So...I had to remind them to take that off the bill.

The attention to detail, communication among employees at all levels, general competency, and customer service is EXTREMELY POOR. In fact, on their corporate business card is a nice little catchphrase: Bringing customer service back to plumbing.  WHAT A JOKE!!

They also wanted to charge almost $300 to snake a bathroom sink - so we had our handyman do it for $60! LOL. Our handyman also laughed when we told him what Oak charged us for pop-up replacements =(

NEVER HIRE OAK PLUMBING.

I am an interior decorating who hired Oak plumbing to do some plumbing work in a client's home. I initially wanted them to add a shower to an upstairs bathroom but because of sudden plumbing damage, they ended up fixing a major leak, removing a vanity, moving a location of a toilet, and replacing a floor. Andrew did the initial walkthrough, was polite and thorough. Ariel talked me through all of the services needed and was willing to work with my budget. Leo, who did the majority of the work, was friendly and extremely hard working.
I plan on calling them first on all of the plumbing jobs I have in the future because I trust they will do great work.

I needed a new water softening system. I live in rural Solano county and have massively hard water. I did my research, and liked the Oak Plumbing reviews, so I contacted them ~ 4 months ago. A technician (Nate) came out promptly and was accommodating and professional. He said that they needed a water sample to design my system. I had an analysis when I bought my home 4 years ago, but it told only bacteria. He said that the water analysis cost $699. Whaile this seemed a bit steep, I agreed. I was required to pay in full before the analysis. I did so, and it then took 2 weeks for Nate to return for the analysis. He took the sample directly from the hose bib immediately adjacent to the well, and disconnected the attached water system (failing to re-attach it, which resulted in minor plant loss). 3 days later I got a call from Ariel, the Service Manager. He said that ...there was something wrong with the sample (it was now 3 weeks since I paid.) He was cagy about wht the problem was. I asked every way  Icould, but he demurred, saying that ...they would use another company. Finally, it appeared that someone ar Oak goofed, it was sent in wrong, and couldn't be processed. But he did not want to admit that. He wanted to come out in another few days; it took considerable arm-twisting to get him to come out the next day (to correct THEIR mistake..!) He took the sample (and again disconnected the irrigatin system without re-connecting). 2 weeks, no respose. It took 2 calls to finally get the results (3+ weeks after he took the sample, and now more than  6 weeks after payment.) The report stated that the cost was $385. So, Oak charged me $314 just to get the sample. I was finally able to speak with Ariel after 3 tries. He promised me that he would have a price in a day or 2. No call back. I called again. Again, he promised a price ..the next day. After 3 of these abject LIES by Ariel I decided to go with another company, who was prompt, gave me an estimate in 1 day (I also spoke with another company which while better than Oak, did not fulfill their promises and were more expensive.) INTERESTINGLY, the day after I made other arrangements, the Receptionist from Oak called me saying that Nate coud come out in a few days to discuss the system (this was 3 weeks after Ariel said ..next day.) I firmly told her that I had made other arrangements, and exactly WHY. I said that I intended to write a 1 star review on both Google and Yelp, and asked if the owner (Matt ) might call me prior to the review so that he might answer my concerns. Guess what? True to form, I never got a call back.

I don't know what has happened with Oak. I read all the reviews. Something is going on, but Oak is NO LONGER A GOOD CHOOCE It has changed. GO ELSEWHERE!

On Friday, August 21st, 2020 I called Oak Plumbing for an estimate to install a vanity and faucet in my bathroom. They provided an appointment as early as Sunday, which surprised me. I honestly, did not think the turnaround for an appointment would be so fast.  At any rate, Johnny showed up Sunday within the time promised. He was super knowledgeable and patient with my questions, which I had several. He even looked at my kitchen faucet, which wasn't a part of the appointment. Johnny was very professional and pleasant. He wore a mask during my appointment, which I appreciated tremendously.  I still have another appointment for an estimate but so far Johnny at Oak Plumbing is looking pretty good.

The plumber Jared did a great job fixing a pinhole in the copper pipe after we had a water leak and also installed the filtration system in our house. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thanks for the great service.

The customer service is is good. Got a reply very quick to get business. I got a decent appointment date. Technician came on time and even got a text message him as well on ETA. When he got here he quoted me $368 for one bolt and putty replacement. I told him I had another toiled fully replaced for $370 and I had quotes from other companies for $150 and $170. Then he said he called but not even sure he called and got quote $300. I accepted because it was on a time frame. But the part he used was no more than $50. So it means for 30 minutes worth of work they were $250 per hour. The toilet is working fine and professionally done. I would not recommend this place nor use them again as they are extremely over priced. Shop around you can get service for about half price. Also, I did not get a receipt and had to follow up with them.

So happy to have all of our plumbing issues fixed. Jared came out right on time and I gave him my list of things to do. The $49 trip fee was waived/applied to the job and he finished within an hour and a half. Oak Plumbing was the first to respond and gave me quick options for scheduling the work. I was able to surprise my husband when he got home that his to do list was ta-done! I will hire them again! Thank you!!

Oak plumbing had installed a water heater for us in 2017 and it started making a strange noise so I called and within an hour Luis showed up to check it out.  Luckily the water heater was under warranty.  While Luis was here he went under the house and checked all the pipes. He did find some leaking problems and was very thorough in explaining the problems, he even had pictures of the leaking pipes.  He also recommended we get a filtration system to avoid pipe damage in the water heater.  He showed up on time with another  tech, Mike, the next day and began to replace the water heater and the damage pipes.   These two techs were so considerate and nice. They kept us up on their progress and cleaned up after themselves.  Oak plumbing these two techs were the best congratulations on having such great employees.  I highly recommend your services to other people.

I called Oak Plumbing today to have a filter replaced that was stuck inside my refrigerator Anthony came out and he came on time did a super-fast job was very honest with his price and I love Oak Plumbing they are my new go-to for plumbing issues

They were very prompt and Daniel was very personable and gave me very helpful information and quotes for a plumbing decision I need to make.

Matt from Oak plumbing was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He thoroughly evaluated my problem and gave me several options that I had for my slab leak. I would recommend calling them a if you have a leak in your house.

I had a bad leak from the upstairs bathroom into my garage. I called around, but had no luck getting someone to come out quickly....until I called Oak Plumping. They got a plumber over here with in a couple hours. The plumber, Johnny Morgan, up was super professional, showed me what he found, took his time explaining everything to me and had me back in business in no time. From the scheduler, to the plumber, down to the young lady who took my payment over the phone, I was extremely happy and satisfied with my experience.

Experience was great! Zac N. was in and out super quickly. Very professional and easy to work with!

Professional as always have had so many plumbing problems with this house! The manager came out on the weekend and spent an hour going over the options available to me and made arrangements to do further work the next day with Johnny Morgan the Oak plumber who came the next day was awesome despite having to jump into a house with a series of problems

My husband and I are blessed to have found Oak Plumbing.  We had called another plumber first, and he told us that if we didn't know the name of the faucet, we have to purchase another one, and he would come out and install it.  We like the faucet that we have, we just needed the hose to the faucet wand to be replaced because the whole hose was leaking.  Then I had a question for him, after I purchased another faucet, but he never responded that entire day, and we had an appointment with him to install the next day, so I cancelled the appointment.  I started looking for another plumber.  I called Oak Plumbing, because they had good reviews.  They believe in good customer service.  Martina answered the phone and set us up with Travis Ballard for the very next day, then she called me back and told me that he has an opening and could come out right away.  I was so happy!  Travis came out and immediately told me what faucet and model number I had.  He gave me the number to call to get the part replacement sent to my house for free!  I called Oak Plumbing when the part came in, but the part didn't look like what was on my faucet, so I was concerned about that.  Martina had Travis call me, I sent him a picture of the part that came in, and he confirmed it was correct.  We schedule the installation appointment for today, and Travis fixed it!!!  I think it's working even better than the part he replaced when it was brand new!  Travis and Martina are amazing, and now Oak Plumbing is the only plumbing company my husband and I will ever use from now on!

Zac came in and listened to us. He investigated the problem and came up with several options to resolve the issue.  He looked for the most cost effective way to address the issue and gave us several choices. He was professional and on task.

I just wanted anyone out there to know that Oak Plumbing came to my rescue! They have great customer service beginning with Martina who was able to me quickly and kept in touch frequently and was very friendly and courteous. She was able to send the right man for the job. That man was Travis who was able to turn a very stressful situation in to a case closed in less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this company.

Really easy to work with.

Needed to replace the water heater.  Called and they had Jared on his way in minutes.  Got a text right after we got off the phone as well telling us who was coming and what his background/qualifications were.

Jared was super knowledgeable and quick to diagnose what all needed to be done to replace the 32 year old unit and bring the connections up to code.  He walked us through what all needed to get done and how much they were going to quote us.  Once we said yes he got straight to work and in a crazy short amount of time we had a new water heater up and running.

Really professional group.
Would totally hire this group again.

I'm sorry I have to amend this review. Everything I said below is true, the people who work for Oak are friendly and efficient. My first experience was great. But this time I called them and they charged me WAY TOO MUCH for a water heater install. $2240 for a 50 gallon including install and when I asked what their hourly rate is, they couldn't give it to me because it would be so high...instead they say they charge by the job with a book they use. Well the book likely says how many hours it should take to do something, but they're not transparent about hourly rates. And that ends up kicking you in the backside. (After our convo Cory offered me 5 percent discount so final install price was $2120.)

All of this is more frustrating because in my first experience with them they replaced the hot water heater coupler at a reasonable price so I came back to do business with them. But as a property owner, I've had people sweeten the deal the first time to get you to call back, and imo it feels like that's what happened here. It's business model, but not one I'm fond of.

I would only contact them again for an emergency because when other plumbers failed me in the first situation they did not. They had a part no one could get, and they were Johnny-on-the-spot. I just can't get past that install price when I know the high end of the National stats for same replacement is around $1600. And the model they installed has a price range of $700-1000. And the install job took 3 hours. So that means Oak must have charged me $300+ per hour for the install. Why not lay out the cost of water heater and labor on the invoice instead of lumping them together in a single bid? That would provide more transparency regarding hourly rates. Yes, in this situation another plumber never came through for us and Oak did. But that doesn't change the fact that installation cost was unreasonably high. Ultimately I recognize that it's my responsibility because out of desperation to get the job done quickly we agreed to the price. But that doesn't make the hourly any more reasonable.

Previous Review: Lauren the receptionist offered immediate help to a crazy water heater emergency just as I was going out of town. Technician Daniel was patient, kind and explained everything. Rates were fair for immediate service. Daniel checked in with my tenant and followed up with me after. All in all very professional.

They are great! Prompt and professional AF! Jah feeel However, Expensive AF! Jah feels? Diamonds Certified work ain't cheap, but...$1,000.00 to hook up a sink is CRAZ!!! I had all the parts already. It was literally $500.00 for 2 hours labor. The guy was cool, but he was not a surgeon for Christ sake! I spoke with a contractor friend and he said it was a 500.00 job max...SMH

Martina did a great job setting up a tech to troubleshoot a plumbing issue. Martina was pleasant and helpful and did a good job following up.

Travis just replaced our garbage disposal and was really great! He was exactly on time...no other plumber has ever been on time before. He was pleasant, extremely nice and helpful! It was done quickly and gave us a lot of information.
Martina was extremely helpful in setting up our appointment to answering questions and getting back to us quickly. We will definitely be using Oak plumbing for any of our plumbing needs. Great experience over all!

Malik showed up on time and accommodated my no animals footwear. He has a beautiful smile and is charming. As it turned out, I didn't even need any repair to my pipe under the sink. And so there was no charge. To make his trip worthwhile, he gave me an estimate for a new water heater and for a tankless water heater for future reference. I would definitely use his services again  and recommend him to anyone!

Our toilet has been clogged, we called Oak Plumbing to fix it. They came right away unclogged it and left. Literally the next day it was clogged again. We called them back and they tried to charge us again, but decided to unclog it again for free since it hadn't been that long. Once again, the next day it was clogged. We won't be using this company again, as we still have a clogged toilet.

Nate helped us out with a clog in the pipes. Turns out it was filled with roots. Fixed it quick and even had a camera to confirm that there was in fact roots in the pipes. Called oak plumbing at around 11 and they showed up later that day  at around 2. Great fast and friendly service

Dispatcher, Martina Navarro was very nuce, helpful and fast. She provided us with a scheduled appointment at a convenient time.

Was having an issue with our sink so we called this company. They sent out Danny a very amazing guy. He quickly assessed the situation and told us there's a $49 inspection fee but after he saw that the only thing wrong with our sink was that there was a penny in the sink. He then told us he wouldn't charge us anything since it literally took him 2 seconds to fix and he wouldn't feel right charging for that. Now that's what I call taking care of your customers. They have my business from now on!

I contacted Oak Plumbing regarding an issues I was having with my kitchen faucet.  The young lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and gave me an appointment for the same day.  The technician, Travis, arrived in a timely manner.  He quickly assessed the situation and advised what was causing the problems.   He immediately fixed the problems.  He was also very pleasant and professional.  The price was reasonable.  If I have any plumbing issues I will definitely call Oak Plumbing!

Oak plumbing has came through and taken care of ours concerns has agreed to change out our sink drain and adjusted our bill since my last review.

Jared was prompt, timely, knowledgeable and clear in his analysis and explanation of the problem. He then worked professionally thru the process of finding the best solution and went WAY beyond thorough to ensure that all possible problems were solved. After clearing the line with his snake, he recommended high pressure power washing to ensure no future issues, returned to the shop to get the device and was back when promised. Great work, great service. A little pricey, but you get the quality that you pay for. Definitely a satisfied customer!

I needed a plumber who was familiar with underground sewage ejection pumps so my friend recommended Oak. The owner (Matt) was courteous, and set up an appt for the next morning (Tuesday). On Friday morning Stan came to replace the pump and all is working well. Stan was on time, was knowledgeable about my somewhat unique situation, and patiently answered all of my MANY questions, including What ifs. A great guy. The only negative was the price, but I didn't get any other quotes and maybe the cost was comparable to other companies, idk.

Tried to charge me 24k for a broken water pipe under concrete. Told me there were multiple leaks, and I needed a new over head water system. I got a second opinion that same day and got the one and only leak fixed the next day for 1k. Snakes over there. Watch out.

Jared was able to identify which concrete slab my water main had broken beneath, and did a fine job repairing the break.

Their Technician was very informative and professional. Very experienced and helpful.

Was charged $169 for coming out and checking out which is fine if they just first quote you that. Oak should just be very upfront with their pricing  instead saying $49 when you inquire. They should clearly state $49 plus diagnostic fees. Especially when I specifically told them what was the problem.

Would not recommend them from my experience.

2 stars because the technician did what he was supposed too. 0 stars for oak plumbing because I think they are deceiving when asking a quote here on yelp.

Another update on Oak Plumbing: We hired a contractor to repair and replace our damaged kitchen. When the sink and faucet were removed, it became obvious that pieces to the faucet were missing. Don't know where the faucet came from. Maybe removed from another customer's home? Will not use them again

I called Jovan out to fix a clogged sewer main and he discovered a major water leak as well. Jovan was upfront honest and went the extra mile to make sure every problem was fixed right the first time. Highly recommend and also want to thank Martina for scheduling him

From my experience they are capable but do tend to gouge you.  They worked on a crawl space sump, did the proposed work but did not solve the problem. Their way of bidding is to quote from a catalog of costs, not by calculating the hours and materials.  They then try to upgrade the project and find other problems to solve.  As an example, they quoted over $700 to replace a pressure regulator. I did it in about 45 minutes, with modest material cost.
Be careful.

AMAZINGLY FAST & EFFICIENT!!

We were impressed from start to finish how quickly the response time on getting our shower head & faucet replacement done.   We had already done the tearout, removing tile & sheet rock,  exposing plumbing.  We called Oak Plumbing & Martina immediately scheduled our job for a quote.  Anthony arrived at scheduled time & when he saw the job, he gave us the quote & said he could do it the same day.  He was very professional in switching out the old copper tubing & setting up the shower valve & adding height to the shower head, in lightning speed.
We are grateful of the company's efficiency & are able to continue with our shower project. Definitely will refer Oak Plumbing to our family & friends!

My wife and I recently had plumbing work done by Oak Plumbing. Our plumber, Travis Ballad, was the consummate professional. He arrived on time, wore protective covers on his shoes, politely introduced himself to my wife and to me. He asked what are needs were and listened carefully to our concerns, He explained what needed to be done and what the charge would be. We accepted his bid and he began to work. He patiently answered questions and was timely in his work. We were absolutely delighted with the service he provided and would without reservation, recommend this young man for any of your plumbing needs. His skill and pleasant demeanor are an asset to his company.

Called them after having a dishwasher returned because I was missing a hot water valve.  James came out in about an hour, worked up an estimate... price was reasonable and his van was fully stocked.  Work was completely done within 2 hours.  If You ever need a plumber.... call them!

Omg! So I know completely NOTHING about plumbing and let me tell you how amazing, kind, educational my plumber Anthony was!!! From the moment he walked into my office he was engaging and sooo helpful. It was a pleasure having him and seeing all of the options that I would have with my problem. If ever in need please ask for him by name!!! He has my full recommendation.

Matt Harris installed a new toilet for us today. Very efficient, knowledgeable and personable, plus he was great with my 4yr old and 2yr old who wanted to 'help' him with his work. It was our first time using Oak Plumbing, but won't be our last. What a great company!

My water heater was having issues and needed a plumber's attention. Oak Plumbing was one of the few that responded to my request within 30 minutes. There was another plumber in my neighborhood that I initially wanted to use due to their proximity to my house but they never responded. Given the quick response and the special they had for water heater maintenance, I decided to reach out to Chad from Oak Plumbing and give them a try. The scheduling was easy and I had someone coming out the next day. Stan showed up the next day within the scheduled window and took a look at my water heater. Since the problem I had was not readily evident, Stan tried different things and waited until we replicated the problem. Once we were able to do that, Stan knew what was wrong. Although Stan had over 20 years of experience, it was not a common situation therefore he consulted with his co-workers to confirm his findings. He noticed my water heater was still under warranty and called the manufacturer and have them send out the parts FedEx the next day. Once the parts arrived, Stan was here next morning and replaced the parts within a couple of hours.

Stan told me what I needed and don't need and was willing to work around my schedule to get the job done. Most plumbers will try to sell me what they have in stock or have me hunt done the parts myself but Stan went the extra mile to save me money and dealt with the manufacturer. I had a lot of questions and Stan answered them all and he was easy to talk to. Their pricing was upfront on everything we discussed and there were no side bar conversations with the home office to make it sound like they will give me a deal if I do these extra work now. I highly recommend their services and will continue to use them for my future plumbing needs.

Joel did an amazing job repairing and replacing parts of our pipes and garbage disposal. He literally spent hours working on our project and tested it afterward to make sure there were no leaks. I will definitely use this company for any further plumbing issues!

From start to finish, experience with service was excellent. We had our PRV (pressure reducing valve) replaced, and explanation on cause of failure and cost of job was thoroughly explained. Quality of customer service goes a long way for us -- specially nowadays -- and Danny was a refreshing encounter of that...and his extensive knowledge/expertise was much appreciated/valued.

Nate came by right on time, was able to diagnose the problem and was very helpful.  He was very professional, well dressed and explained the situation and gave us options on the repair.  We could not be happier.

Nice to know that quality customer service is still a priority for some businesses. Andrew Smith and nicole provided excellent service from start to finish. Definitely recommend oak plumbing.

After a horrific experience with Aaron Plumbing, where they charged me $469 to descale one tankless water heater, I called Oak Plumbing to descale my tankless water heater.  $99 later, the job was done and the plumber was very kind and helpful.  Thanks Oak Plumbing!

I've used Oak Plumbing twice. I'm giving them the two stars because the first plumber I worked with (Zach) was excellent and did not try to over charge me. He was professional and thorough. I do recommend Zach. He was very good. But, yesterday...

We had a leaky pipe coming from our water heater. It looked simple enough, probably a loose fitting. Maybe replace a washer or something. They sent Nate because he could get to us sooner. The estimates he put together for me were EXTREMELY high. They ranged from $1,200 just to fix the leak to upwards of $10,000 to replace our tankless water heater. I told Nate that these amounts were way more than I would have expected. To which he asked me how much I was planning to spend. That made me even less comfortable because it appeared that these numbers weren't based on part and labor costs at all.

Due to the shockingly high estimates we called a small local plumber instead. He stopped by same day tightened down the full tins with a wrench and just charged me $20 for his gas. He jokingly told me I should tell my husband that we needed a new tankless water heater. He said that would run about $3,500.

I know that different companies have different policies around repairs because once they've touched it maybe they need to warranty it, but this situation was absolutely egregious. It was very clear Nate was trying to take advantage of me, which is completely unacceptable.

I'd like to actually give them 6 stars!  

Incredibly responsive, and were available for non-emergency work the following day.  Very professional too--email and text alerts letting me know where the technician was and when they would be arriving.  The work was done quickly and with zero problems.  Best of all the pricing is quoted after they look at your problem, without obligation to actually do the work....basically ensure that they will have to be fairly priced to earn the job. Also, very informative so I knew what my options were, and what each would cost  I would absolutely use them again!

Travis was a great hands on plumber with a whole lot of experience and general building knowledge for my project at hand. Could not be happier with the experience!!

Oak Plumbing did a great job installing a new water heater for my family.  They arrived promptly, worked quickly, and were friendly.  They handled all the details (gas lines, electrical, plumbing, removal of old tank) with ease.  Luis in particular did an excellent job with the installation.  I will definitely be calling on them again for other jobs when the need arises.

and very detailed oriented and knowledgeable about the plumbing. first I was given 3 days appointment but, when I said that there is a leak under my house. he said I will have my technician there within 30 minutes. and Matt show up sooner and inspected the problem and sat down with my wife and I and very comfortable and gave us options to which is fitting our budget. I would very highly recommended Oak Plumbing to anyone that needed help with their plumbing problems. I give them 5 stars service.

The technicians who came to our home were kind, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. They arrived ON TIME, (even called us to see if they could come earlier), kept booties on their shoes. We originally needed a plumber to fix our shower diverter and they did an ENTIRE home inspection, checking the water heater, all the pipes, into the CRAWL SPACE under the house. They provided information and solutions to not only our original issue, but to fix other issues that came up. While the quotes were a bit pricey, they were comparable. You get what you pay for, I always say. When all was said and done, the fee was agreeable, and the work was great. I would recommend Oak Plumbing for sure.

Had them come out to quote some revisions for a kitchen remodel. Franklin came out to look at the job. He was timely, polite, and helpful. The price quoted was higher than I had budgeted so I ultimately went with another company but I would certainly keep them in the running for next time.

Lenny and the team we're awesome! I called at 630pm for next day service and reached (Mike?) In the office, he was cheery, helpful and understanding. He set us up with the earliest appointment and prepared me for the kind of work that may occur the next day. Lenny arrived and was extremely professional and courteous. Our job ended up being much more complicated then originally thought. He consistently updated me on what he was doing and what his thoughts were. He even spoke with my dad and re-explained everything  without judgement that my dad wanted to double check his work from afar. Lenny personally worked on our project all day. Javier and Mike came out to help and were just as professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company and would call them in the future!

Our water heater stopped working and after calling the warranty I was beyond stressed. I contacted Oak plumbing and they sent out a tech, Franklin. He showed up quicker than I expected. Franklin was awesome, he worked his magic, explained everything in detail. He answered any and all of our questions. We now have hot water again and the stress is gone. Will definitely be setting up an appointment for a service on our water heater. Happy family with hot water!! Thank you again Oak Plumbing!

This outfit is one of the best plumbing contractors I have had the pleasure to employ.

They are on time, text and call when their employee is enroute and even provide a picture of the employee who will be doing the work.

I had minor issues with the initial plumbers work and they were quick to address the issue with a more knowledgeable employee who resolved my concerns quickly.

I want to give a shout out to Matt and his technical knowledge. He also has the ability to explain techbical plumbing issues do even a dumb guy like me can grasp it all.

I can recommend Oak plumbing without reservations. The price was good and the service out of this world.

I would give 5 stars, but I have not yet had the work done.  Yes, their estimate was on the high side (but not outrageous due to the complexity and what I believe their service to be worth).  Of all the plumbers who came out, they seemed the most professional and knowledgeable.  My case is very difficult (drainage, flooding, etc.) and some plumbers had even point blank refused to do the work or I never heard from them again.  It was their experience and concern that sold me on them.  They offered the first sign of hope for my poor drowning house.

Danny was amazing.  Very knowledgeable - gave me the options and let me make the best decision for my budget.  So nice to have a trust-worthy local firm after dealing with my last home warranty problem and an out of area group.  Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to use the services of Oak Plumbing today, and was very pleased with their professionalism and attitude .
Our plumber was Anthony Rumery.  Anthony took care of the problem promptly and the cost was only a service call.
From our first interaction, with James who scheduled the service, to Anthony , to Serena who handled the billing, the staff was friendly, professional and courteous .
I would not hesitate to recommend their service.

We needed plumbing help and called Oak Plumbing. Our original call was to Martina, who was very helpful.   Nate came out later that same day after we had spoken with Martina, and provided an estimate.  We asked for and received a couple of changes from what we thought originally was the work wanted.  Revised estimates were provided in writing for us so we had a clear idea of what would be done and the total costs.   On the day the work was to be performed, Alex arrived on time and started to work right away.  He installed a pressure regulating valve first and then worked on fixing and changing a faucet that had failed by our back yard patio.  He had to open up drywall inside the house to check out the pipe leading from the backyard faucet.  Alex did a very neat job when he cut out and opened up the drywall and also replaced the piece of drywall that he carefully had removed.  Alex even cleaned up all the dust that accumulated by cutting the drywall.  He wore those shoe covers inside the house.  I can't think of anything better than what we received from the whole team (Martina, Nate, and Alex) at Oak Plumbing.  Thanks to all of them. My first contact with Oak Plumbing was with Matt on the phone. He was polite and patient in listening to the explanation of my plumbing situation and in answering my questions. I mentioned that I had read the Yelp reviews and based upon that, I requested Stan, the technician. Matt was very accommodating. Although Stan had several appointments, Matt was able to assign me to Stan for a free estimate. On the day of the appointment, Matt placed a courtesy call to let me know Stan was on the way. I also received several e-mails from Oak Plumbing about the appointment.

I was very impressed with Stan's professionalism and proficiency as a plumber. He is easy going and has a pleasant personality. He did an excellent job of pulling my toilet, installing a new wax ring, bolts and caps and installing a new bidet. He invited me to observe as he worked which was interesting and educational. I was shocked when he discovered a huge root system growing into my drain which was causing the stoppage problems! He also checked with a camera my sewer line from the clean out in front of my home all the way to the public sewer line. I was relieved that it was clear.

I was totally satisfied with the plumbing work Stan performed. I especially appreciate that he applied silicone caulking around the base of the toilet which was a nice finishing touch.

They are incredibly expensive but so was everyone else. Damarus was professional, friendly and courteous. Didn't try to talk me into items I didn't need. In fact talked me out of a sink that I thought needed replacing. He will quoted me a few options and explained them in detail. Work was done fairly quick and looked a hell of a lot better than what I previously had.

In the middle of a storm, my 24 year old water heater started leaking all over my garage. The original plumbing had been worked on by previous home owners, so I could not turn off the gas line or the water to the tank, without shutting off the main to the entire house. Oak Plumbing (Andrew and Matt) did such a great, clean and professional job re-doing the entire plumbing and gas line, in addition to installing a new water heater. They were on time, super friendly and respectful, made sure everything was up to code, cleaned up after themselves and left me feeling comfortable, safe and informed. Talk about professionals! They went above and beyond!!

Discovered a leak in our ceiling yesterday. Looked up plumbers on Home Advisor and literally, within minutes I received a call back from Oak Plumbing. Extremely professional, prompt and courteous staff: from the scheduling team, dispatch and our technician, Andrew.  

Fast forward 24 hours and Andrew is literally in my bathroom, fixing the source of our leak.  He is still here as I am writing this review.  He represents Oak Plumbing well with a courteous and friendly demeanor, and great plumbing expertise. He tried all avenues of potential leaks and is found the source within the hour.

Oak Plumbing, from start to finish is a 5-star company. You get what you pay for, and you are paying for the best work you can get out there.  I will definitely use them again...although, no hard feelings, but I hope I never have to :)

I have been procrastinating for over flowing toilets and leaky pipes. Danny Jimenez was on site
next day, gave me a quot( liked that better than charge me per hour). Did excellent job for three new toilets and new pipes. Later minor leak happened and Chadwick sent  Danny right away to
fix the leak. What a service. Danny is an efficient, pleasant and staff at oak plumbing are supportive , informative and very pleasant to talk to them.
they are my now and future plumber. Danny fix the additional leaky shower head-no charge.

This place is the real deal.  I am of course calling due to an emergency situation at my property.   I am generally very direct to make my needs clear.  I spoke with Amy so helpful and extremely nice.     I let her know that I was nervous about the bill .  They cannot tell you until they see the job , she books the appt.  My plumber Paul is my type of person.  I told him I wanted the job done correctly.  He looked over the job made an assessment and got to work.  My problem was a mess Paul was tenacious about his work. He finished but I had to call them back for further details of the job, no problem, Paul was out front waiting on me when I got there. No excuse the man has talent (hr does not speak much)  his work speaks loudly.
Keeping there name on my refrigerator for future use.

Zachary is fantastic.  He came out and worked on my parents home and didn't over charge them and made sure they were taken care of.  I really appreciate he took the time to make sure my folks were treated fairly.

I scheduled an appointment with them three days ago, and on the day of the appointment and window of time they were so supposed to arrive, they canceled my appointment and offered to a rescheduled appointment for 3 days later.  No offer of discount, no offer of to do it on the weekend.  If this is how you treat a new customer, I'm glad you didn't get my business...who knows how good your workmanship actually is.  People take time off of work for this--zero empathy from the person that called me.

Update: The business left me a message of apologies, further explanation and offered a 10% discount in addition to an earlier appointment.  For that at least I do respect the follow-up, and do recommend their dispatchers lead with this when canceling an appointment; as the inconvenience directly impacts the customer financially and causes me to scramble for another plumber.

When moving out of our house on Sunday I discovered we had bad hot and cold water valves for our washer/dryer. I called Oak Plumbing mid day on Monday and had Jovon out by Wednesday morning. Jovon was great! Took one look at my hookups and gave me a no nonsense quote. Explained the process to me, offered alternatives but explained the shortcomings of those as well. He worked clean and was in and out in a very timely manner! Martina was great to work with coordinating everything as well. Will definitely use them again for future plumbing work!

Matt and Otis were great today installing my whole house water filter. Matt was great explaining details to me. I did send an email with a couple of questions on insulation and support for the pipes running to the system. If they can address those concerns I will give them 5stars

Wow, Matt came out and gave estimate for install project in just a few hours from my request.  I accepted the bid and work begun immediately.  Matt is a motivated professional interested in completing the work in code and in a timely manner to meet the customers needs.  In our case, our kitchen remodel due to be completed in two days will not have to delay as he completed the work to meet the timelines...even through he worked until after 8 pm!  Thank you Matt!!!

Called them last Saturday 9:30 AM for my clogged kitchen sink. They told me I am on the schedule from from 10-2PM. And Zachary just started a call and that we would be next.  They did call to tell me Zachry would be about 45 minutes  later at about 1:45.  About 4:00 when I called they said his call became an emergency.  But he is leaving right now and should be here in about an hour.  At 5:30 when I called, a male voice was very rude and with a little anger in his voice  told me that Zachary was supposed to have been on his way but is now leaving and should be here in an hour. That would be 6:30 pm.   Now at 5:30 PM...................

I Googled local plumber near me, Mike answered, he was on his way home and could stop by to take a look in about 15 to 20 minutes.

I called Oak back to cancel. The same gruff male voice obviously knew my phone ID and answered,  He is still there and will not make the appointment to fix my sink

We all have good days and bad days.  Oak even offered to get another one of their 12 plumbers over but it never happened. There was no I am sorry for my lousy non service.

I have never left a revue that was not positive and swore I never would.   However, Oak Plumbing earned this review.   Signed, a former potential good customer.

Travis did an excellent job cleaning and servicing the grease trap at our tenant's grocery store on 4/7/2021.  He completed the work in a professional and timely manner.  Travis was patient and took the time to explain the work in detail to us. We would use Oak Plumbing again in the future because of its work quality.

Johnny from Oak Plumbing was amazing! He was easily able to assess our plumbing needs and get them fixed in a timely and professional manner. He was very friendly and efficient, adding a water line to our refrigerator, changing out our shower head, and helping drain our sink. We'll definitely be using Oak Plumbing for all our future plumbing issues and needs!

We recently bought a home in Martinez and realized that the basement floods. After researching different ways to approach this problem we decided to go with Oak Plumbing to install a sump pump. Danny was great. His explanation of the work was clear and he answered all of our questions and concerns. The work was meticulous and the final product reflects his professionalism. Damarus was really personable, thorough, and efficient. The prices are a bit on the high side - welcome to the Bay Area - but I was very happy with the job and look forward to doing more business with Oak in the future.
