Trenton is your guy! I was having issues with airflow and cooling in my home. Called several places for ideas and proposals. When Trenton showed up to do the initial analysis, he had me participate with him (optional), telling me what was going on and answering my questions. From the start, during, and until completion of the project, Trenton always kept me informed and engaged in the work (something that I like to do and it saves time for both vendor and client). If you need help with HVAC or other issues, NexGen does a good job. Also, if you can ask for a technician, ask for Trenton.

When I called Brittany was quick to help my mother in law as her house was at 97 degrees snd within a few hours Pablo was able to come out. He was thorough in explaining all that was going on and had all parts available to fix right away. He was pleasant and patient and took his time for us! He also wore his mask and was truly courteous. I would use him again and refer him to friends and family !

Pablo came to service our AC/furnace.  We are new owners and had no idea when the system has been serviced last.  Pablo was very professional and knowledgeable.  He was very good at showing us what he found, explaining what needed to be done or fixed.  His recommendations for upgrades or replacements all made sense.  He was able to service and replace everything except for one item which he ordered and will be back in two days to replace.
We were very impressed with Pablo, he was friendly, professional and did great work.

They show up when they say they are going to show and the service is great. Don't really pressure you to purchase unneeded services or parts and are very experienced. Defiantly the company to consider for any of your HVAC needs.

The only reason they got  one star is because of their employee Casey.! He showed on time first visit and had to wait 1 1/2 hour
for. camera. They rescheduled appointment to recheck job and we're supposed to be here between 9 and 10. We finally called office and they said oh no, supposed to be 10 and 11. Still no show. They had Casey call us to reschedule!  What's wrong with office employees? He rescheduled for today  and of course showed up on time. Why can't management take care of issues. Maybe if company spent some money on more cameras instead the billboards along the Highway, work would get done a little faster!!!

NexGen Air and Heating - I had NexGen come out for the first time for seasonal maintenance. What a mistake. My system is 10 years old and has been maintained over the years. The technician recommended $3,400 in services. Most of the recommendations seemed bogus in that they included changing out how the system was originally installed. When I questioned the charges it felt like buying a used car. He reduced the estimate from $3,400 to $2,000. Said he could try to talk to his manager to get the price down further.  I think fortunately I knew what to ask but others may be bamboozled in to thinking to be safe they need to have the recommended work done. I found the technician to be very pushy.  He stood over me trying to get me to give him and the company a 5 star review. . I see how he could potentially intimidate older homeowners.  Just wanted to pass along my experience to possibly help others.

After my elderly mother was nearly scamboozeled by another company, I called Sean at Nexgen.  He was responsive and very professional and saved us thousands of dollars.
He had her new system installed before I could figure out what the other company was trying to sell us with the 5 levels of precious metals!

I think that is enough said. I would definitely recommend Sean at Nexgen again and again.

Not a big fan. LITERALLY! Wanted to get pricing on installing two new Nest Systems. I 100% understand not being able to give me a price until they see the work. My question was, can you give me a ballpark cost of ONLY the Nest Thermostat! I know they sell them online or everywhere for about 250.00 and I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't be charging double or triple for the DEVISE only!Apparently this was too much to ask, but mostly too much to understand my simple question. So frustrated, it was easier to take my 8 homes and their business elsewhere. Come on guys, you can do better, but listening is key.

Are they still in business?  No, really.  I used them for a repair about a month ago and had another issue come up during this heatwave, so I called them.  And called them.  And called them.  Left 3 messages over the course of 3 days (and an email).  Never received a call back, not even to say hey, we're super busy and can't get to you.  Nothing.  Such poor customer service.  The tech who came out originally wanted to sign me up for their maintenance plan.  Ummmmm, no.

UPDATE:  They reached out to discuss and said they would refund part of my last repair.  A month out now, no refund.  Not really upset about that so much as yet another customer service fail.

This is the company for AC service that do the right job! I was buying a new electric AC to replace my 40 yrs old antique... And Corky stop by and help me out get the checkup done and make sure the price is reasonable that for my small place. The installation also done very nice and the installation guys also make sure all wiring and the AC function properly! Man, high recommended if you need to AC job done in IE.

Palm Desert-  couldn't say enough great things about this company. Roman the service Tec that came out to our home was friendly and very thorough and detailed.. He was able to diagnose the problem with our air conditioner on the spot. He also had the part needed to fix our unit in his truck. So in one service call we got everything we needed to have a great air conditioning unit for this summer. Thank you, you have a customer for life.

Fast response time, there was a coupon on Yelp which brought down the price, still pricey but aren't they all, kinda don't have a choice in A/C issues here in the Desert.

Service guy was very nice and whomever returned our cry for help last night @ 11 PM was super nice,  they accommodated a visit @ 8 AM. We didn't suffer too much through the night.

They provided a year parts & labor warranty.

First of all, I would like to thank Chris Nanney for the amazing knowledge and support he has given us. We started this relationship with NexGen in April of 2022 when our unit broke. We had Jovan come out, he did an amazing job. Unfortunately our system was old and out of warranty. To maximize the ac and desert living, we opted to replace the whole system. The NexGen crew gave us options and we thought about it a few days and ultimately could not pass up the warranty and services that are available. Chris Nanney gave us peace of mind about the new features of the AC unit, and how close by the office is and to never hesitate to ask questions. We are not local and is amazing to know there is someone looking out for our investments and care as much as we do. We can't wait for the brand new unit!

Way over priced! The only positive worth mentioning is that if you want a quote, they are quick to respond. Although they say their prices are competitive, I have to strongly disagree. The over-priced quote we received from them for our two compressors, two wall units and two remotes was a five digit figure! We went with another company that installed Mitsubishi Trane units for under $4000. That's less than half the price. Shop somewhere else and watch for Edison rebates.

Hands down the best plumbers I have ever worked with. From my initial call to customer service, to the timely arrival of the plumber during the quoted 1 hour time window. I have used this plumbing service twice now, and both times they sent out the same plumber, which is great for consistency of service. The plumber, Kase was terrific with communication by phone prior to arrival and upon arrival the work was done in a timely manner, and the work area was left clean! I plan on a bathroom renovation this year and will certainly be reaching out to NexGen and Kase for their services then. I cannot recommend this company enough!!

The office personnel are courteous and professional. However, the technician was unprofessional and and extremely offensive i nearly kicked the guy out of my house.

I am having problems with my tankless water heater that was installed 6 months ago that up until now was working without any issues. The shower wasn't heating as well as it used to. Meanwhile the sinks get very hot. Nexgen had great reviews online so I decided to see if they can help trouble shoot.

At first encounter with this guy. He was complaining about how I wasn't home when he got there. That he was waiting 40 minutes for me. I told him his office kept calling me that he was going to be late gave me a time and then later retracted and said he was going to be on time. Regardless, get over it. It is not my fault that the office told me you were going to be late gave me a time and then later called within minutes of you getting to my house that you were there. It's probably not the first time that has happened. Also, its very unprofessional to be complaining to a client you just met and that you are entering their home. I used to work in home health and I would never go to a patient's home with that attitude and remarks.

The tech immediately took one look at the water heater and had no idea what it was. He didn't know the brand of the water heater he said he usually deals with high end products and he has no idea what I had. He said it looked cheap, like I got it as an amazon special or something. That my product and setup looked janky. Mind you, I have been remodeling my fixer upper home. Everything from the ground up was replaced and nothing in my home is cheap or bought as an amazon special. I cannot believe this person is in my own home insulting me. He proceeds to ask me who installed it, why don't I call the person who installed it; Insinuating that I didn't have professionals install my plumbing or that I did it myself.

This person obviously doesn't want business or at least business from me. He offered no solutions. He didn't even offer to sell a new water heater which i would have went for; anything to get hot water in the shower again.

Never again nexgen. You need to train your technicians on professionalism and courtesy or at the very least be a decent respectful person. Most awful customer service experience i've encountered- and in my own home.

My air-conditioning stopped working on Thursday, they fit me in as the last appointment of the day 8:00pm. Assessed the issues & came back on Saturday morning to discuss my options. I'm so impressed with Reuben, professional, explained what the issues were & how to resolve it. I ended up ordering a new HVAC system through them. I'm a contractor myself in a completely different field, but so impressed with Reuben & the other personnel I spoke to.

We had previously contacted the company we have a home owners insurance policy with, and they came out because our air just wasn't cold.

They were there for a matter of minutes, didn't look at anything besides the thermostat actually.

Air conditioner still not putting out cold air, so we contacted Nextgen.

They had someone out in about 3 hours, in fact they called to see if we would be available sooner than original time, that's a plus right there!

Anyway, Trenton arrived, and excelled in every way possible.

He was polite, friendly, professional and took time to show me what he was testing on our unit, and was very good at explaining what conclusions he was coming up with and also why.

I am extremely impressed with my experience with Nextgen.

It was too late in the day to order the part we needed on our initial appointment, however within a couple of hours after arriving at his job, Trenton had located what we needed and let me know right away.

Had I have been available, the job would already have been complete.  The company worked with my schedule, and made an appointment to come complete the job at MY earliest convenience even.  WOW that is a definite plus.

Anyway, the difference between the 2 companies I have contacted for this problem is like night and day.

Trenton is fantastic, and I will post a review upon completion of the job.

I'm already 100% positive that the review will be as good as this one.

Our home A/C unit stated blowing out warm air last night about 6 so we called up NEXGEN Air to help out. We've seen their TV commercials and I just recently heard on the radio how they're always working early AND LATE, 7 days a week. My husband spoke to Sean in the ofc and he sent a tech over within 30
min. Their service employee, MANNY, fixed the problem within the next hour, and we were back in cool air IMMEDIATELY! Thank you so much NEXGEN Air-we'll be calling your ofc soon to schedule a full clip on our a/c unit! Great job! You guys Rock!

Very impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise of the technician who came out to service my heater today. Jevron McKnight thoroughly explained the condition of our unit and went into detail of his diagnosis as he troubleshot the issue with our heater. Upon discovery of the issue with the motor it was clear to me that not only was he an expert in his trade, he also cared enough to make sure the client was comfortable understanding the repair that was needed. Nexgen was out here the next day of signing the contract. Although they were late and never contacted us to tell us, they did a very good clean job. When they installed the unit in the yard, they made a hole in the screen  that protects against rats etc from entering into the crawl space. No one told us about it, they just covered it up with a paver. Three phone calls later, about 1 month later, and three promises that they would be out to fix, they have never showed. No calls, just haven't showed up to fix it. So I'm concerned that if something is wrong with the unit, I will have the same issue and be in the heat or left out in the cold.

I had  my air conditioner, furnace and all ducting replaced two years ago. Carter Mendoza was the technician that came out and did the service maintenance. Ruben came out today for the annual inspection of my new HVAC system I purchased from Nexgen. Couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism & politeness. He took the time to listen to my questions & help me with my NEST settings. He then proceeded to completely wash down my new unit so that it was clear of debris, dust & sand. Totally stoked this kid did an awesome job!

My husband had initially scheduled an appointment with this company at 2 pm; but the plumber didn't show until 4 ish pm. Ok no biggie. But then the guy had to come back the next day with a snake and camera. Oh so he told us. So, My husband was told he'll be arrive 12 pm but didn't show until 5 pm. After two days the guy still couldn't figure it out, he didn't bring the tools he said he would. Again, he told my husband he'll come back again (for 3rd time) with a snake and camera even tho he said he'll bring it the second day. Then, He told us to expect about $5000 Job! So, The plumber told us he'll come back any time after 9 am. NEVER Showed up! My husband spend all day waiting for him and no show, no communication! The worst communication and follow up I've ever experienced. So we just cancel their service. I don't know why they are rated high when their service is total opposite.

I sent in request for summer maintenance and to check to see why my home was not cooling down like it should.  I was able to get a response by the next morning.  Ramon and Pablo did an excellent job handling my service and discovered a few issues which the last company I used left half-done.  I received photos of what was wrong and got a complete description of all work recommended.  They were efficient and patiently answered all my questions.  I will definitely use NexGen for my A/C needs in the future.

Don't look any further.  This is the company you want to call for AC servicing.  It is unfortunate that here in the desert good help is hard to find, let alone trust.  After a bad experience of being overcharged for a part, I called Nexgen Air because I thought the AC unit was not turning on.  Ruben arrived within minutes, to my surprise, and double checked to make sure my unit was working properly.  The best thing he did was explain to me the proper way to assess the working status of the unit.  I'm afraid I was a bit anxious and did not wait the 5 minutes it takes for the AC and the fan to sync.  When he left, everything was working and I felt more confident that it would work in the future.  I definitely will call Nexgen for service in the future.  They are my new AC company.

I ended up with a clogged toilet.  I didn't want to go to the hardware store to buy a toilet auger after seeing that NexGen offered an $88 drain cleaning.  I spoke with scheduling to confirm the price and was told as long as there was an accessible cleanout that the $88 price was correct.  I explained there was a cleanout about 6 feet away from that bathroom plumbing.  They were very friendly and tech showed up on time and without much of a delay.  This is all the good part.  The tech arrived and before even meeting me at the door he was disconnecting the water hose at the front door to check water pressure, trying to sell an $800 plus pressure gauge.  The tech evaluated the clogged toilet and said it could be $600 plus dollars.  I told him that they had said it was $88 or I would have just gone to the hardware store and bought a toilet auger.  He said that the 2 cleanouts I had were for the main sewer line and this was probably a clog in one of the plumbing branches, so the $88 was not valid.  I asked him how many people had a cleanout for their bathroom branch plumbing and he said not many, so maybe the $88 should have had a disclaimer that 99% of bathrooms would probably not qualify for this pricing.  He then tested the water at the bathroom sink faucet (Desert Water Agency) and said it was high in chlorine and suggested several water filter systems ranging from about $5,000 to $13,000.  I just wanted my clogged toilet resolved.  He said to Auger the toilet would be $203, but he might have to remove the toilet, etc., which would be an additional $430.03, for a total of $633.03 I told him if I would have known that it wasn't $88 dollars I had another flat rate quote from another plumbing service with a flat fee of $180 to resolve the issue.  He agreed to give me a 10% discount and Auger the toilet for $182, unless he had to remove the toilet it would be another $430.03.  5 minutes after getting the Toilet Auger from the van the issue was resolved, all I wanted in the first place was just a clogged toilet issue resolved.  The tech was very nice and I understand he is probably only trying to sell everything because thats' what his company requires.  I do feel their pricing advertisements are very deceptive.  How many people really pay $88, my guess is not many.  Sort of a bait and switch if you ask me.  Now I feel like I wouldn't trust this company for anything else in the future vs. clear my plumbing issue in 5 minutes collect your $88 and be first call for life and refer everyone to your company, but don't suck people in with a $88 price when very few people will ever get that price.  The one star is because they did have friendly people and quick response, the loss of the other 4 stars are about the deceptive pricing and attempts to sell everything.

Our big home project this year was to replace our nearly 30 year old HVAC system with something modern and efficient.  We have two zones and thus two A/C units and two furnaces.

In December I contacted four HVAC firms, and all four came to my house and gave me options.  3 of the four gave me bids on the spot, while the fourth never followed up with an actual proposal.  So strike one from the group.

After the initial visit, only one, Tim from NexGen, followed up with me.  We were able to agree on the price and the install was scheduled for the following Monday.

The crew showed up on time and finished replacing both systems in one day.  That included rebuilding the plenum that both furnaces sit on, running new line sets and all the other odds and ends required for the transplant.

I couldn't be happier.  The system is functioning as promised, the install is clean and professional and follow up for inspections and duct testing has been spot-on.

I highly recommend NexGen based on my experience.

NexGen will blow and toast every AC/Heating company out there by the way they do business.  Impeccable process , very systematic, efficient, fast and reliable installers. We needed new air and heat where they had to move the furnace up in the attic from the first floor.  We bought brand new systems so they got rid of the old furnace and condenser.  We happen to have had the best team started by John Banks who earned our trust on this company from the beginning when he came to do the 27 pt inspection , followed by John Hansen Paul who took care of explaining the project and financing. The next day came the greatest installation team ever : Roger, Marvin and Arturo.  They had 3 other helpers and I wish I wrote their names too because all 6 as a team did an above and beyond job.  They came early, had all their materials ready , prepped the house to make sure the floor and furniture are protected from any debris then they started working away. I was blown away by how organized they were. Their trucks are impressive too. The trucks look like this company is out to do some big wonderful things for their clients. Every single worker is very experienced, kudos to the owner Ismael for hiring the best of the best skilled people.  You'll just know you are in good hands. This has turned to be a book , sorry, but I can't help but give them compliments. ROGER, you made sure we were happy with your team's work. and we were. Your team is amazing and I do want to thank you all.  Ismael, hats off to your company.  By the way, they left the house clean.  Very clean, professional work.  Cost? I can speak from experience... you NEED to go with them.

We had a new air conditioning unit installed last Thursday by Nexgen Air.  We are extremely pleased with the outcome.  We interviewed 4 AC companies here in the desert and by far the best quote came from Nexgen.  We met 5 employees of the company over the course of making our decision and getting our unit installed.  Everyone we encountered was professional and helpful.  On installation day the crew of installers came early and worked efficiently.  The crew were:  Roger, Andres and Efrain.  We will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of a new AC unit.

Absolute liars, scammers, and thieves.
I signed up for the $88 HVAC checkout.
The technician talked me into the AC rejuvenation package at $3,000.
This made sense to me as I live and work here full-time, the machine is 12 years old, and I googled and found that the parts he was going to replace are the most common parts that fail, and I didn't want this to happen in July and I if possible, would like to get another 12 years out of this machine. (My last one lasted 40 years) The technician said it was full of Freon (I recorded the conversation.) Always record your conversations with any service provider.
I went out of state to visit family the day after servicing.
I get back Saturday, no AC. Compressor running, no cool air.
I called Saturday, have I heard from them? NO!
I called another company (which I should've done in the first place) and he came and checked it and IT HAS NO FREON!!!! EMPTY! EMPTY!!!!! How could it have been full 2 weeks ago and now empty?
Just called NexGen, again, and demanded a service call TODAY, and they are filling this unit full of FREON that I'm not paying for and I want my $3000 back. Still haven't heard back.
The machine was obviously sabotaged by the technician.
The tech told me on the way out, that if the machine fails, the $3000 I put into it would be discounted for a new machine. Like I'd buy a new machine from the people that sabotaged the unit to begin with?
So the scam is they sabotage your machine in order to get you to buy a new one and talk you into water heater service and all other services that they perform.
All the big companies in the valley have the same M.O. to talk you into a new machine cuz it's easy revenue for them. Stick with the smaller players.
It's Monday, and I had to call, again, to get a service call and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Why is this company still in business?

NEXGEN AIR. Last summer during the dog days of summer, my dearest friend's (a retired Oakland Children's Hospital nurse) home HVAC system failed. See called NEXGEN AIR and was very pleased with their service.
Recently, I purchased a Palm Springs condo knowing the HVAC system was 13 years old and living on borrowed time. I called NEXGEN AIR for service to ensure my system would last another summer. Ruben and Mike did a 27-point inspection. They were great: They were on time, answered all my questions, gave me their best guess/estimate when it might fail, gave me written HVAC test results (NOT good) and written corrective options in 3 different price categories. I appreciated their expertise and professional conduct. Ruben and Mike are the best!
PS: Turns out the AC unit was manufactured 20 years ago!

My home's HVAC system is 20 years old and living on borrowed time. I decided to replace it. Ruben and Mike, techs from NEXGEN AIR, arranged a next day visit with Thomas G, project manager to review new system options.
Thomas, Service Manager, is a great guy to talk with about HVAC systems and water heaters: Very knowledgeable, professional conduct,  gave me lots of information, answered all my questions to my satisfaction. In passing, I mentioned a hot water problem of having to run the hot water for 2 minutes before getting hot water in the shower. I needed a new hot water system. He even fixed the patio light system on the way to the water heater. What a great guy!
I wanted to replace these old systems with fuel-efficient and green-as-possible equipment. Thomas made spot-on recommendations. I agreed and his team started work that day. My hot water problems were solved by that evening. My new HVAC system was installed the next day.
Sean N., General Manager and Ernie, Mgr. amazed me at their abilities to get new systems installed with speed (2 days and done) and expertise. They support their installers and technicians very well which enables them to do great work.
Omar and Pablo are awesome installers/technicians! They are knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions to my satisfaction. They were respectful of my home and protected it's interior as the utility cabinet sits in the dining room. The guys worked calmly (no yelling and cussing), cleaning up as they went. They transformed a dismal utility cabinet in to a work of industrial perfection: Lining the walls with thermal blankets; mounting the furnace, coil and air scrubber perfectly in a small space; running gas, vents and electrical lines in perfect straight lines and crisp angles (tech nerds will get this) and they were a pleasure to work with and to have in my home. Omar and Pablo are true craftsmen!
Everyone exceeded my expectations by doing a great job then going the extra mile. What a great experience for me, a retired tradesman.
Thanks to all at NEXGEN AIR Palm Desert for great services and superb installations.
PS: NEXGEN's owner is doing everything right to provide top of the line service and installation in the Coachella Valley. Well Done!

Ripoff. Run for the hills. Very quick response.  Daniel the tech was very respectful but they Quoted me over $8000.00 for a water heater replacement.  The cost of the water heater is no more than $ 2000.00.  I googled and found them as low as $1700.00.  Why are they charging $6000.00 for installation?   Do not use this company.

I had my unit serviced by jonatan dimas (IE) from NEXGEN and he was very pleasant and was very informative. He was observant of the condition of our filter and animal situation that he recommend an upgrade that would help with better air filtration. The only regret i have with this company is that i didnt use them earlier. Anyone needing a company with a personal touch a d integrity look no further.

Our AC went out in the middle of the night.  We called NexGen at 9:00 on Sunday morning and Noelia was very helpful in getting a technician, Pablo, to our house within a couple of hours.  He was able to diagnose our problem quickly, and was able to make the repair by noon.  

Pablo was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous and did a great job.  Based on our experience, we will not hesitate to call NexGen again.

RUN AWAY! These guys must be buying their reviews because 5 stars for their complete lack of customer service is unbelievable.

Service guy was perfectly nice, attentive and made us feel really taken care of, until it came to time to pay. We got pressured to by a service contract that included the next 3 visits for free and was sold as 24/7 service. This last part ended up being completely untrue. They were here two months ago, replaced a bunch of parts and charged us a lot of money. Things were fine until yesterday afternoon. At 4pm the AC stopped blowing cool air. Being that it was 108º outside, I tried to use the 24/7 service contract and get a service person here, but they had all already gone for the day and they had no service people on call at the time? How is that 24 hour service? I was promised a return call first thing in the morning the next day but did not receive one. We finally reached someone and after I pleaded with the person saying that this was a real emergency, they said they could get someone to our house at 4pm not ideal, but we decided it was better than nothing. Then I called back 1 minute later to confirm the address and we were told that yes, they have us down for an appointment between 6 and 7:30 pm!?!? It's literally 110º outside and 102 in the house and by 4:00 it's supposed to be 117º.

24/7 service? Answering the phone 24/7 is NOT 24 hour service. 24/7 service means that they offer service 24/7. Nexgen does not offer 24 hour service, don't believe it.

I hung up and called Coachella valley ac and they already have a tech on the way to our house.

To be clear, I hate writing negative reviews, but I felt this was necessary to share.

Carter was such a sincerely great guy! Many technicians see you as an easy sell but this way not the case. Carter was super polite, extremely knowledgeable and very honest.

So after working with 3 different HVAC places i thought i would give this one a try based on it's yelp reviews even though it only had a few.  They sent out their best Rafael who was calm and assessed the situation with honesty. He never made me feel  inferior for not having HVAC knowledge, he explained the situation and gave me options. He was able to reset my Nest thermostat and let me know what was causing the problem. None of the other HVAC places were able to reset the Nest or properly diagnose the problem. If they weren't working on the latest model, they'd charge you and just walk away and tell you to buy a new unit. This place comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Get it right the first time by going with Nexgen. They treat you like they want to be treated and like they want you to come back. All the rest seem to treat you like they are doing you a favor. Nexgen gives you respect!

they came out today,,all i wanted was the 88 dollar special and before i knew it  they were telling me the motor in the air condioning was going out and we have had no problems with it and they pressured me saying its only at 12 and it should be at 19 and it could go at anytime,,,so they got 2,500 bucks out of me,,,i wouldnt use this company they use pressure to get you to buy stuff so they make more money dont use these guys

The wait for service was the worst part of our encounter, and that was only less than 48 hours.

Trenton and Kaze were very professional, calling to let us know they were coming, explaining what they were going to do, and keeping us in the loop the entire time.

They were quick and professional, and are very aware that building rapport with the client is a sure-fire way to retain customers.

I'm very appreciative of the work they did, and Trent deserves a raise.

Nextgen has been nothing but AMAZING! Carter who serviced the heater today was knowledgeable, on time and courteous.  It's so hard to find good service today when it comes to service companies but I've been lucky with my membership from Next gen. I pay monthly low fee and they call me  to remind me of service to be performed on AC unit or heating. Thanks Carter!

So happy to have RUBEN here today to fix some problems with our new Trane a.c. install.  RUBEN corrected our problems and releaved our concerns with a noisy system.  Thanks so much Ruben.  He is knowledgeable, thorough, personable and a hard worker.  Plus he has such a cute puppy.  Thanks, RUBEN for helping us today, giving us peace of mind and being a highly skilled a.c. tech!   We did have some initial problems with our install that required a new part to be delivered and loud banging noise when the a.c. would click on and off.   Manny was great, but not available when we needed help.  Rubin made it all right again.  Hope we have a cool summer in our desert home .  We will always request Rubin for any maintenance going forward.

Christian showed up on time, was professional, very knowledgeable, and walked me through everything that he was doing and why. My attic system came with the house and was leaking through our ceiling, the coils were rusted out, and come to find out the were the wrong coils for the system. It was 13 years old and has caused major damage when it decided to freeze up and burst. After careful consideration I chose to purchase a new system through NEXGEN and got a killer deal. They showed up the next day and went above and beyond by installing new vents, added another return, and installed a NEST controller that not only easy but I can program with my phone. The installation crew (All 5 of them) were polite, professional, and explained everything that they were going to do and then showed me what they were doing along the way. I am not only happy and blown away by the great deal and service but the entire experience was amazing. It's good to see that there is a company that still puts its customers first in a time where most HVAC companies are known for being predatory and scandalous. Loving my NEXGEN system and give these guys 1000 stars if possible. Great job guys!!

Ruben and Michael were very professional. I had Nexgen come and service my A/C unit on 5/30/19 . Recommendations were noted on invoice and those replacement parts and extra cleaning were going to cost $2,000. Once I found out the costs, I chose to replace a a 33 year old A/C with a new model.
These two gentleman were very pleasant and informed me all about how much I would be saving with an energy efficient model. Thanks

At 11pm on the third day of 117 degree temps, these guys got to me in an hour and took care of everything in the most professional way. Even the coordinator who was doing our intake and scheduling on the phone, Ruben, was extra helpful with multiple phone calls to help us troubleshoot remotely.  Trenton was our AC expert who came on site and did the work. He was thorough, communicative, knowledgeable, and super professional and polite.  I highly recommend them and will always call them from now on whenever I need service.

Ray from NEXGEN did an amazing solo job on a new gas 50 gallon water heater tank installation in my garage this week. He worked efficiently and courteously and was very responsive to any and all questions. He was also responsive in returning today to make some adjustments. Everything is working perfectly. I'll be asking for him any time I call NEXGEN from now on.
The quality of Ray's work brought NEXGEN's value up to a 4 out of 5 stars, but the company might want to think about going a little slower on their pricing if they want to maintain that rating.

I used them cause i have 3 free services for them ripping me off last year , well you think i would have learned. Got charged 136$ for 1 pound of freon and 300 for leak pulg ? I know they just want to sell a unit but its 6 yrs old. Well best in the west is coming tomorrow

Julio did an excellent job doing a temporary relocation and then reinstallation of my water heater after I needed repairs done on my utility closet. He was very thorough and careful with his work. So, Michael and Kaze showed up and were very professional.  Mike spoke with the owner (I rent) and got everything approved.  The work was done neatly and quickly and we now have a new garbage disposal and no kitchen sink leak!  And, they left the kitchen clean.  So polite, so patient and, again, so very professional.  (I haven't been called Ma'am that much in years LOL)  So happy!  I will let the owner know that everything is great now and that he could use these guys in the future with confidence!

Julio was really incredible! So much work and service above and beyond our highest expectation. He found the HOA pipe that was actively leaking and then he also discovered a problem with our water main. He is the reason our HOA sent people out within hours to replace the leaking pipe and the Coachella Valley Water District sent people out to address the problem with the water main. Service just doesn't get any better than this!

Have a condo in Palm Desert.  Before I left for the summer I wanted to have the freon level checked and get a quick check up on the AC unit.  We rent the condo out and we live a long way away so fixing now before we leave was important.   Call Nexgen.  Roger came out and quickly determined that I did NOT need freon, GREAT!   However he showed me pictures of the unit on the roof with caked on dust/dirt that was preventing the unit from working efficiently, costing me money and reducing the life of the unit.   In the attic he found that BOTH the evaporator drain line and the overflow pan drain line were BLOCKED and the pan was filling up!!   Good thing I called!   Roger gave me a reasonable quote and fixed these items thoroughly.   He was very knowledgeable and professional.   Great job Nexgen and Roger!

I had NexGen come to my home to install Honeywell thermostat. Ramon, the service technician, was personable, knowledgeable and fair. His supervisor, Ruben was called to discuss pricing and we favorably agreed to terms.  They both were so willing to provide excellent customer service and I am so very happy that I contacted this company.

Completely got took for $1200. Guy came out and said it was the motor on the fan that needed to be replaced on our AC unit. He replaced the motor and left that night. Less than 2 hours later the breaker blew on our fuse box and needed to be replaced. Another company replaced the breaker that blew and as soon as we turned our AC back on, the breaker blew again. I called Nexgen to let them know the problem and the technician said that our compressor needed to be grounded and there was nothing he could do in regards to the 1200 we paid to have the motor replaced. He said something to the fact that he told me it would because temporary fix. I didn't know the temporary time would only be 2 hours. Now my wallet is $1200 lighter and my house is still 99 degrees. He didn't say anything about the compressor needing to be grounded on his first visit. I've used these guys for the past 3 years. Never again.

Tony installed my new Moen Smart faucet this morning.  He was on time, quick, efficient, and friendly.  He removed the packaging for me and, when I realized it had some information I needed, was very quick to call me and not only gave me the number, but sent a photo as back up.  Would absolutely recommend!  

NexGen in general was excellent.  They answered the phone quickly and in person (yay!) and I found their whole process was excellent.  Good job.

NexGen has never let me down, I mean never. My husband and I used another company until we figured out that every call was $200.00, $300.00,$400.00 a call. We finally stopped the bleeding of money and tried NexGen. NexGen has never let us down, I mean never...NexGen's  technicians are very polite, they respect each and every home they walk into, they use foot covers without being told, their knowledge of their profession goes beyond their scope of  practice, Casey and Pedro did a outstanding job, took pictures before and after the job is complete. I lost my husband a year ago, and sold the property we had together. After the inspection was complete there were  just a couple of repairs to be done. I didn't have to look very far into who would get the job done because NexGen has always done each and every job until complete. NexGen leaves the area neat and clean. I feel that their prices are comppreable

If the price alone doesn't prevent you from using Nex Gen, the service should.

I was charged over $7,000 to install a new tankless water heater that retails for around $1,500!!!  When I complained about the price, I was told it was industry standard.  

Now, let me tell you about the substandard service I got.

Day 1: Installer brought the wrong unit, left. Hours later came back, and installed the right unit.

Day 2: The unit was leaking. Installer came back and said it was the condensation from then unit. I didn't want it leaking on the foundation of the house, so the installer said he'd just plug it up. I asked him not to...saying that if condensation was supposed to come out, it should come out...just not all over the foundation of my house.

Day 3: New installer comes and says he will attach a tube that moves the condensation away from the foundation of my house and onto the patio. So, I will have a constant wet spot on my patio. Then I overhear the installer talking to the manufacturer. They inform him not to let it leak on the patio because the water is acidic and will eat away at the patio and is bad for pets. The installer then attaches a tube that runs form the unit, across my patio and into a drain.  Now I have a tripping hazard on my patio and acidic water dripping into a metal pipe that I already told them wasn't draining properly.

Day 4: Zach, the manager, comes to confirm I indeed have a tripping hazard and that acid water in a metal pipe will in fact start eating away at the pipe. And that the connection from the pipes to the heater are also leaking and that they will fix that.

Day 5: First installer comes back to remove the tripping hazard, add a pump and a neutralizer (per the manufactures instructions) and drains the water into the drain where the washing machine drains. He also fixes the leaking connection that he put in originally. Everything seems fine.....

Day 6: That night... my shower is not working. Only a little water dribbles out. Plumber, from Nex Gen comes out. Assesses that because the last installer did not bleed the pipes before turning water back on, debris has been sent from the new heater to the closest exit point...my shower. He tells me they need to replace the shower on/off valve. After telling him he could not break through the tile in the shower to do so, he decides they can break through the wall where the new water heater is.

Day 7: Nex Gen plumber waits in his truck for 4 hours for the Nex Gen contractors to show up so they can cut through the stucco and drywall to get to the shower.  They never show up. So. plumber leaves.

Day 8: New manager also named Zach tells me they will make this right and then we will talk about the original $7,000 price once everything is fixed as this is obviously not good service.

Day 9: Plumber and crew come back, take off the brand-new hot water heater, cut a hole in the back of my shower, replace the on/off handle, patch the hole, put the hot water heater back in and everything seems to be working fine.

Day 10, 11, 12.....:Zach, the new manager says he's going to connect me with Kristie to talk about the price and get that fixed. Kristie calls me, knows nothing about the issues, so I tell her all the above.  She says she will talk to her team and get back to me.  SHE DOES NOT. I call her again. She said her boss was out of the office, but is now back in  She says  she's going to run across the hall, talk to him and call me back in 10 minutes. SHE DOES NOT.  I call Kristie again--she doesn't answer, and her voice message box is too full to accept new messages.  I leave 2 text messages that go unanswered.

I will say that they fixed all the problems. But then again THREY caused all the problems. So when you see Nex Gen on your nex Google search.....my advice is go to the nex listing.

It was 110° on the 3rd of July here in La Quinta, what a time for my air conditioner to go out! It was after hours so I got on line and made an appointment for the 4th @ 8:30am. At 9:30 they we're a no show so I called they're closed on the 4th but their automated appointment center did not know that.  This time I talk to a real person she made an appointment for me for the 6th of July (nothing sooner) to my surprise July 5th in the morning bright and early Omar call me and said he was on his way. What a blessing! The service was fantastic Omar was very nice I'd like for him to be my regular technician. I do need to get a new unit but they got this one up and running for the time being.

We recently moved to the Coachella Valley and this is our full time home.
The existing AC was only 7 years old and it definitely wasn't working to our needs. It was installed by an inferior competitor.
When my Best friend ( who happens to own his own very successful HVAC company in Georgia) came to visit he looked at my system and diagnosed what we needed to solve our AC issue.
We called a few competitors of NEXGEN and we were not impressed with the equipment or the estimate.
When Sean From NEXGEN came out to look at our needs he made us feel confident that they were the company to use.
The crew that came the next day (on time) were very professional and courteous. The system included all new ducting, additional returns, and insulation.

I am extremely satisfied with the new system. The home is getting too the perfect temperature and will end up saving me 30% on my electric bill.

Don't waste your time with the other Hack AC companies. NEXGEN will be the best company by far

We had what we thought was a backed up shower/toilet in the back bathroom that turned out to be a cracked and leaking and sagging main drain, a huge project and since our house is on a slab we had to have the bathroom and laundry floors and front porch cracked open and dug up. BTW slabs are stupid...NEXGEN was honest and up front about the costs and scope of the work, so since everything was in turmoil we went ahead and had new copper pipes installed, a Navien Tankless Water Heater, and a HALO water filter system. They were great about showing up when they said they would and keeping us informed at every step. We also had them go ahead and replace the HVAC too, our house was built in 1966 and it appeared to be several decades out of date. Everything is working great!

I have seen NexGen trucks around town. When I needed our HVAC system looked at, NexGen came to my mind.

I called after hours and surprised to have someone answer my call. I booked an appointment and Jonathan, the technician, assessed the situation and provided recommendations. We needed a replacement and wanted it done as soon as possible. Randi helped us get a quote that we're comfortable with and assured us that it will get done the next day. Pablo and Omar from NexGen arrived to review the water overflow from the condenser. Trenton's worK improved the unit so much so adding extra water then the extra humidity in the air is causing the mess.

I've used you guys for many years.. Today we had a major A/C issue , you're team was responsive and on top of it. It was a complicated situation and you handled it perfectly!

A few days ago my furnace stopped working.  Since the unit was purchased from NexGen, I called them and scheduled an appointment.  The technician Trenton was super knowledgeable.  After inspection, he told me what the problem was and said that it is covered by the warranty.  For a nominal fee, he replaced the damaged part.  He was a pleasure to talk to.  Would definitely recommend Trenton and will use his services again if the need arises.

Being from the desert let's face it, we are at the mercy of the air conditioning company's, with temperatures in the summer time reaching upwards of 120 degrees, AC is a necessity. I had made appointments with five different companies including NexGen.  After the first few companies doing nothing but telling me to buy the most expensive units with an outrageous installation price I was about to just bite the bullet and spend some serious coin. Then Manny from NexGen showed up and the experience was night and day. He was extremely thorough and had answers to all of our questions, there was no fancy lingo it was clear and to the point. We sat down and explored all our options and I have no regrets with the decision my fiancé and I came too. So to sum it up, highly competitive pricing , personable, and the equipment comes with a warranty you just can't pass up. Definitely a NexGen costumer for life.

Second visit , about a year since first service. Noticed a bad sound coming from ac compressor outside. Pablo A. Identified the problem almost immediately and was able to fix it fast, he showed me how and why it was happening.  Pablo was extremely thorough and explained concerns with other areas. I trust the work he did and I highly recommend them. Quality and they stand behind their work. They may not be the cheapest, however here in the desert you want a company that will keep your equipment working well and prevent outages, you get what you pay for. In this case it's good work and piece of mind that your covered.

After a three day power outage on my street, my furnace would not ignite. I made an appointment and they were able to accommodate me as a last service call that very day.
I received a call from Reuben as it began to get dark. He said that he had just finished a call quite  a distance away but was on his way. He arrived and was a very personable, friendly and knowledge. He assessed the situation and quickly made a necessary adjustment. Eureka! After 3 nights of weathering the cold, I had heat.

In particular, Trent (HVAC specialist) was fantastic. Gave me great advice during routine maintenance visit (fixing things now and helping me plan out additional replacements through year to save money). Trent also answered my crazy lady call about a squeaking I was hearing in middle of night--he figured out I'm hearing my old attic fans and replaced them with solar powered ones! We had a loud banging issue with a 3-ton HVAC unit on our roof and the unit was just 1.5 years old.  We contacted NexGen HVAC & Plumbing to look at it independently from the installing contractor.  NexGen came out right away with Pablo and Joel.  They diagnosed a problem with the gas line feeding the unit.  They recommended that we do not run the unit until the gas line is revised, fearing CO could come into our home.  They also arranged for the plumber to contact us to fix the problem.  We are grateful and happy with the service from Joel and Pablo.

From start to finish these guys were great. I recently had a scheduled maintenance appointment and have to say my Technician Trenton took really good care of my newly and recently installed Trane units. This young man is very respectful, but beyond that he very knowledgable, and passionate of his trade. Thats a quality not seen often these days!!  Very detail with what he finds and will let you know exactly whats going on before anything is done to your investment. He will look out for YOU, the customer, and your best interest. Nexgen is lucky to have him working for them. It is invaluable to having Trent as my Technician, and will not be letting anyone else touch my units. I recommned Nexgen and Trent as your Technician. You won't be dissapointed.

This is not a reliable company. I waited for them to show and they never arrived. When I called, they said the serviceman told them he had come by and he did not.  The serviceman told the boss he took a video of me telling him that the problem was fixed.  I don't know how he took a video of me when he didn't show up.  Perhaps he was at the wrong address and spoke to someone else.  I have no idea what happened with him and who he took the video of, but it wasn't me.  They never called me back, and someone was not telling the truth.  Definitely not a reliable company.

We had an appointment for them to come look at our water heater. Even though we called in the morning, they couldn't come until 6-7 PM. So we waited all day with no hot water. No one had come or called by 6:45. So I called them. The answering service said someone would call me Monday morning. (Today is Saturday!) This is unacceptable!!! We waited all day for this appointment and we could have called another plumber but we didn't because we had an appointment. No apology. No call to reschedule. Nothing. I will never do business with this company again!

Their office staff is great, they made sure I knew when my tech was coming with a confirmation call + auto text when he was on the way + my service tech called me with an ETA. When Pedro arrived he was so pleasant to chat with and he was SO thorough. He gave me multiple options at different price points, but he was not pushy at all! Jevon was my technician he was very nice and professional. He was able to get my air running very quickly. However, I asked him what was the very minimum to get my air up and running and he was still pushing his up sell. I didn't realize until after but he sold me an unnecessary part even after I asked for the bare minimum. This part I was charged around $350 for when you can buy it at home depot for $45 and YouTube videos show its very easy and quick to install your self. Don't fall for this scammy upsell practice most ac repairs have out here. Avoid extremely over paying for a compressor saver when you ca do it yourself for less than $50 and 15 minutes of time.

Nexgen came to tune up my HVAC system. Roger was the technician. He showed up on time and was very professional and courteous. Once he got to the front door, he immediately but on booties to protect my floor and carpet. This set the tone for a very professional tune up. He checked and replaced the filter; then ran a check on the system itself and finally cleaned the condenser. He also told me about an air scrubber' that could improve the performance of my HVAC system. At the end of the appointment he discussed simple things I could do to keep the system running efficiently. Roger was fantastic and I hope that when the time comes for another tune up, Roger will be scheduled to do it.

If your AC's decided to tank, and you're either going to swing the repair bill or learn to love life without climate control, then do yourself a favor and call these folks. They've got great people (shout out to Preston, who thoroughly explains and educates at every step), they're not impossible to schedule, and they show up when they say they will to do exactly what they've promised. I was able to lower my thermostat by eight degrees and still shaved $150/month off my electric bill thanks to NexGen. Support this local business!

I had Carter come out today for my annual a/c inspection/tune up. He was extremely courteous and friendly. He inspected my system, gave recommendations on what he found, and with no pressure left it up to me to decide how to proceed. I didn't need a whole lot, a capacitor and some Freon, so I went ahead and had him do the work. The company applied the quoted inspection cost to the cost of the parts, so all in all it was a great experience.
I would highly recommend Carter and Nex-Gen for your a/c tune up, especially now since the high temps are here.

Kaze returned to do a second plumbing job for us. Our anti-siphon valve was leaking  and the main valve wouldn't turn off. The old valves have probably been on the house for at least 30 years or more.

Kaze came to the house and explained to me what needed to be done. After finishing the job, Kaze explained the new valves and what controls each function. Albeit appears simple to most people, I appreciate the instruction.

We had a problem with our thermostat and furnace on a super rainy day in Palm Springs.  Manny came out under heroic conditions (mudslides and flash flooding closing most of the roads into our end of town) to help us out, and returned the next day when the weather was more co-operative.  Fortunately, the problem turned out to be minor, but it was a relief to know that the folks at Nexgen and Manny were there for us come rain or shine.  Can't recommend them highly enough.

I am a community manager and yesterday the A.C. crashed at a gym I manage for one of my HOAs. I called nexgen at 6am this morning,  got a call back from Sean within 30 minutes,  he had a tech out to the gym within 30 mins of that call, then he had a contract for replacement of the air handler and 5 ton compressor in my email inbox before I even got to work that morning. Once the contract was approved,  by 10am, had his guys there within the hour with all the equipment and ready to go.  His guys were courteous, respectful (they called me ma'am) and did a heck of a job. I even asked Sean to throw in a maintenance contract for a year after he gave me the contract and he said yes. I am 200% thrilled with the responce time, communication, work and most important work ethic. I've already started recommending them to others.  Great company,  keep up the good work guys!!

NexGen is a rip off, especially if you're female. We had them install two central air and heat systems to two different sections of our house and a water purifier. We live in a mobile home, not only did NexGen tear up our moisture barrier , but they plumbed our pipes wrong. (Moisture protection is a barrier, made from plastics, resins and bituminous products, to prevent the travel of water; typically used on a roof, beneath a cement slab or sidewalk, along a foundation wall, or lining a bathroom floor). We had to pay a contractor not associated with NexGen to fix the moisture barrier because they wouldn't clean up after themselves. Also, against mobile home law all gas lines need to be flex hose, they put in a solid line, getting us a park citation. I called the gas company to confirm, he was taken aback by NextGens lack of knowledge, he actually said they were probably being lazy. All of this may seem like small potatoes, but the price was not. Casey at NEXGEN was awesome. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He promptly arrived at our home, assessed the problem and provided an estimate to repair. He didn't have all the necessary parts so he did a temporary repair until he was able to get the parts the next day. He repaired our water supply issue and we are extremely happy.

I would highly recommend NEXGEN and Casey for all of your HVAC and plumbing repairs.

Trenton came to do maintenance on the swamp cooler on a property that I had bought about 2 months ago, to reveal how nasty it was and clearly in need of repair. Trenton was extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable on the maintenance process and showed me pictures of before and after so I could see first hand the work he did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of HVAC or plumbing services and I would personally request Trenton for any future Swamp Cooler needs.

We got the after hours line during a Sunday when our AC Completely crashed. We purchased a unit with Nexgen not even 2 yrs old and really worried we weren't going to get help since there is not an emergency tech available on a Sunday. A technician was suppose to head over my place soonest late monday. That technician called and said he was feeling sick so they sent a different technician later that same day, name JERVON!!!!!!! He was responsive, kind, empathic and very thorough explaining why this happened to our current unit. I was so thankful he came late last night to fix our AC issues. I highly recommend nexgen but ask for JERVON. He worked late just to get our AC working. Thank you JERVON and god bless you! My little one slept so good last night bc of you!

Initially i was impressed with this company (Sales Team). They suggested an upgraded unit (to 5t from 4t) for the replacement of our old unit. Was told it would be maintenance free (big selling point). I was also told it would potentially save up to 30% on our utility bill compared to our very old unit. We live in a seniors community so any savings we can make are a big bonus.

Well its less than 2 years later. No savings experienced over our old unit in utility costs!   Decided however, to get the $88 tune up, remembering our unit isn't yet 2 years old.   I expected that the unit would probably need a clean and replacement of filters. Unfortunately i was not at home when Pablo arrived so my wife was left to handle any issues.

When i got home my wife was very upset and felt that she had been taken advantage of by the technician who upsold her on a Compressor Saver costing $414 dollars and a chemical clean for $260  for a total bill of nearly $811. This unit that cost nearly $12,500 is not even 2 years old!!

The compressor saver can be purchased for less than $60 (a pack of 5 is only $250). That is some mark up!!  

I even recommended this company to a friend only this week and am now regretting that decision.  

I will definitely not use NexGen for any future tune-ups or repairs!!.

Beware of upsells when you order their tune up!

Great overall experience.  Had air ducts replaced and installed air scrubber & uv light (which I highly recommend to better clean the air in your home especially for allergy and sinus sufferers).  Response time for an estimate, job scheduling and installation was fast.  Not the cheapest priced company but you get what you pay for.  Very professional, knowledgeable and excellent work.

I called them for an after hours emergency call as my a/c was out in the heatwave. All the operator cared about was getting my email address and physical address. Said a tech would be calling me right away. It's been over 12 hours now and nobody bothered calling. I didn't want to call another company because I own a small business and didn't want someone to take their time to call just to cancel on them.  She assured me someone would be not only calling me but would be out the same night.  BUT THEY NEVER CALLED AT ALL. I found it funny the operator didn't even ask for my number but figured she had my caller Id.

Needless to say: DONT BOTHER WITH THEM. THEY ARENT A 24 HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICE....unless some lady answering phones is going to magically cool your house down. SHE COULD HAVE AT LEAST SAID NOBODY WAS AVAILABLE!!!

12 HOURS LATER I finally called another company and they were here in 30 minutes and fixing it now.

Too bad they do business like that. I'm a cash paying customer and if I needed an entire new unit I wouldn't have cared. I just needed my house cooled off. Just another corporate company with no customer service.

Now they keep calling me nonstop with ROBOCALLS illegally trying to sell their special promotions.  They can call when you don't need them. And why would I want their service when I have a brand new unit?  I have called them twice to take me off of their list, yet they continue to call. I'm just going to take them to the authorities as I have all robocalls saved on my voicemail.

Edit: to the owners response, you absolutely advertise emergency services, open 24 hours. See enclosed pictures. Also, if you'd like to argue to robocall telemarketing is not illegal, especially harassment non stop, when on the DNC......we will see won't we!

Although I love my air conditioner, trying to contact them AFTER the installation is next to impossible! They don't return calls.  The financing was not what was told in initial appointment. I probably should have checked other companies also.  Don't really know if I overpaid.   THIS IS AN UPGRADE!  Was pleased to hear from NexGen today., November 15. Thank you!  I appreciate what you did for me.  It meant a lot and I do feel better about NexGen air. I have always felt your people did a great job of installing my furnace and air conditioner in record time. It was a big expenditure for me being the sole provider.  I appreciate the gesture. I had NexGen here this morning to tune up my heater for the cold and rainy upcoming months and also to assess my wall thermostat that is so old the buttons were sticking, rendering it completely useless. I let the office know to have their tech bring a few different to thermostat units for options, and he did arrive here prepared, so I selected a new and simpler wall thermostat which he installed.
Ramon was professional, personable and efficient. He was knowledgeable about his product offerings, and he informed me of his recommendations, as well about his company's promotions/membership.
I will use NexGen again.

Update: Nextgen contacted me promptly after my initial review, apologized, and arranged for the necessary permits to be pulled. The water heater installation failed the initial inspection with 4 items needing corrected.  However, they came out and corrected the items quickly and it passes upon the second inspection.

Service technician Isaac came out to do estimate for septic tank replacement and while he was out on the property he did a few water heater flushes and testing for me. Also he gave an estimate for toilet replacement, and my residents said he was really nice and knowledgeable. Isaac was really professional and knowledgeable with and really helpful with his coworker Johnny on giving me a detailed estimate with my septic tank on the property.

I had a service done by Carter at Nexgen Palm Desert on my heating and AC system which included periodic service and installation of a new thermostat and new air purifier and was totally impressed with the company and Carter, the technician from start to finish.  Customer servi ce in the office was terrific from making the appointment to billing and followup.  Pricing on the service was better than I might have expected based on my experience with many other companies.  Carter was knowledgeable, professional, patient with many many questions from me and my family and overall one of the best technicians I have ever worked with in my life, and I am 82 years old!  The only thing I could add is I would give more than a 5-star rating if I were able.  Thanks Carter and Nexgen.

First time ever having someone service my moms house. She has had her house for 17yrs and not once did we ever think it would need servicing till her heating stopped working. My co-worker recommended me Nexgen and Im glad I went through this company. We had Ramon as our technician and we couldn't have asked for a better tech. He took the time to explain what the problem was and was very thorough on what he was going to do and what we needed to do to maintain her AC & heating in the future. Kitchen sink clogged up badly and within a day I had Casey out inspecting and fixed the problem. He also went ahead and assessed the plumbing through the rest of the house. Called for a service review of my heating and air units.   Ruben Vicuna arrived same day service (no extra charge) and was extremely courteous.  He did a very thorough review of both systems.   Made minor suggestions but I felt they were informative and suggested but no pressure.   He was knowledgeable of the types of manufactures and filter suggestions.   I felt very comfortable with him and his expertise.  I will be calling again in 6 months and asking for Ruben,   GREAT JOB!  THANK YOU!.

Ruben and his crew are amazing! I had to schedule an appointment for maintenance but my system is very old and I had a feeling I may be needing a new one. Well, getting an appointment was easy and the technician called before he came and showed up promptly on time. I Believe his name was Ramon - so sweet! He was here quite a while and went through everything with me. My 20+ year old air conditioner was a mess. No wonder my electric bills are so high. Anyway, I digress. I bought a new system and it's being installed as we speak! 24 hours later! There are  four guys here who are nice, polite and working very hard!! Yes, a new air conditioner is expensive, but it's some thing we need out here. I highly highly recommend!!

Had a bad situation with a backed up sewer pipe. Nasty! NexGen came along the very same afternoon, and 2 days later, all was fixed. Turns out the drain pipe had been invaded by palm tree roots. We had to have the entire drain system under our manufactured home replaced. Victor Vital, the team leader, and his fellow worker Miguel, were absolutely wonderful. What hard workers! They were very conscious of our needs and comfort, and even had a toilet up and running the first night, and then finished the job the next day. Wow!

Manny Arangure took my call on a Sunday night when my AC broke down.  He arranged for someone (Greg) to fix it within an hour.  He then followed up the next day to make sure everything was running.  He gave me great information about the pros and cons of the system and suggested a reasonable solution to dealing with the issue in the future.  Amazing service.  Manny and Greg are first-rate.  They have my highest recommendation.

Ac stopped blowing cold air. Called company. Got an appointment the same day for between 1 and 3pm. Didnt show till after 4pm. Took 10 minutes to troubleshoot and 10 minutes to install the part (30 dollar capacitor on amazon). Came back and told me it was going to be somewhere around 400 dollars. Came back after being in his van for 20 minutes waiting for his computer to get service and told me it was 530 bucks!? I paid it due to it being 100 degrees that day and my child being 5 days old. I got the invoice in my email. It didnt break anything down. Just said replaced capacitor 530 dollars. I called the company and they said they would get me an itemized breakdown of the charges. Never got back to me. I understand paying for expertise and convenience, but 500 dollars in labor is highway robbery. The gentlemen even thanked me for my service!? Must have got the veteran new baby 100 degree heat discount. I will never do business with this company again, ever. Still waiting for the bill breakdown but I won't hold my breath. Terrible experience with this company. I feel ill just rethinking this unfortunate learning experience.

I was a need for my air conditioner to be working which is in poor condition,And I spoke with so many companies out here in the desert which are so expensive and we're not accommodating to a veteran or Sr Next generation came out Very professional very straight to the point and help me out At such a reasonable price I am so pleased that I found this company which was purely by accident .Technician that took care of me his name is Manny really nice guy,And I spoke with Sean the general manager who is very understanding a nice many is the bomb great technician very knowledgeable .I recommend an a you veterans out there that are on a fixed income and need help on your systems heating or air conditioning called a Palm Desert office is where they're out of ,I appreciate the swiftness and the honesty of this company I am so pleased there was no way I could think them more for helping me out .Sincerely Steve TA

It became clear that a new water heater was necessary in our house. I left a message at NexGen after hours, and had a return call in less than 30 minutes.

The next day Ray Carmona arrived, and within a couple of hours we had a nice new (and much higher quality) heater than what came with our home purchased a few years ago.

Ray did a great job and was very helpful and personable while doing the work.  I recommend NexGen and their service based on our quick service this week!

I called to make an appointment telling them that I needed two new toilet handles and a few aerators. The next day the service person showed up on time but didn't have any of the items I told them the day earlier needed to be replaced. So while the service person had lunch, my wife went to Home Depot to secure the parts. We also as it turned out needed a flapper, which she also purchased all of which cost about $85. The service person explained to me that they have a set fee and it was going to charge me $430 even though we paid for the parts and he was only there around 30 to 45 minutes at the most. at that point, we felt like we didn't really have a choice because the work needed to be completed, but when I told the service person I could buy and install a brand new toilet for the cost of 45 minutes at the most of repairs, he shrugged his shoulders and just said that's how they charge. I would never use again because it felt like a total rip off, especially given the owners message when I was on hold that he created the company to try to avoid rip offs and contractors treating consumers unfairly. Lesson learned, won't be using them again.

After hearing an odd noise that seemed to be coming from our outside compressor, I called Nexgen.  Even though I explained it wasn't an emergency, they sent a repairman over within an hour!  The technician, tried as he may, couldn't find a problem, but that's fine.  I was super pleased with the experience and happily signed up for their maintenance program.

It took me posting a 1 star review last time to get a service call. Had our six month old granddaughter in the house with a AC  down and no response. Now we have a new system and again down. Have called the company two times with Just generic apologies but no guarantee of when anyone can come out. This company should spend more money on customer service rather
than all of their freeway signs. This is ridiculous and you should never sign up with this company!

My faucet failed in the kitchen and NexGen promptly returned my call and scheduled a service repair the next day. Casey gets 5 Stars for his professionalism and repair work. Overall, I feel I must take a star off because the price for the faucet was $139 at Home Depot and the quote for the same faucet directly from Casey was almost $500 (not including labor). Casey was actually embarrassed to tell me the quote and advised I drive down to Home Depot myself to get the faucet, which I did. I've never had to go fetch my own parts for a home repair, but saving $350 on the faucet made me feel compelled to do so.

Making an appointment with NexGen was super easy!  The automated appointment reminders were fantastic.  Come appointment day to service our HVAC, Pablo called to let me know his exact ETA.  We he arrived, he was both professional and honest.  Pablo took great care of our home and was super neat and tidy with his work, he didn't leave a single mess behind.  Our HVAC is now working perfectly for the summer!  I would highly recommend NexGen to any neighbor!

Jervon came by and went above and beyond what I was expecting. He gave me a detailed understanding of everything I originally requested information on. THEN he went and did a full inspection to see what else needed to be done to make sure I was taken care of. After that, he came with a thorough and understandable explanation of what needed to be done, provided options that fit different budgets, and made it easy for me to comprehend everything. I'd say he did it with a smile, but I couldn't tell because he safely wore his mask the whole time!! It was an overall fantastic experience that made this daunting task seem much more accomplishable and easy!!!!

This company wanted to charge me $5k for a mini split AC. When I asked to see an itemized quote, the salesman wouldn't give it to me. We don't do that. What they do, is drastically overcharge and I think they're taking advantage of desperate people in the desert. One HAS to have AC to survive here. I got the same AC, installed, for nine hundred bucks elsewhere.

Nexgen's team installed a new 4 ton A/C unit today. Their team was Juan and Juan. They were punctual, proficient and professional in every aspect of their work. Despite the very hot weather - it was 110F - they didn't miss a beat. Their attention to every detail was impressive. I sense they care so much about doing first rate work because it's simply their nature. The truly enjoy being members of Nexgen's team and take pride in their work.

I had an emergency situation. 5 toilets and a shower were backing up inside the house. NexGen sent a tech out who snaked the line and didn't find any blockage so he called for another tech with a camera.
This tech found an issue with my septic tank and wrote up a proposal to repair it for 8300.00. They could do the work the following day. While the work was completed the following day, I was told there were further complications that would require additional work to do the job correctly.
Another proposal for 13,000.00 was presented, which I declined as it now wasn't making any sense.
Without dragging this out any longer, the bottom line is I paid 8300.00 for a repair to a septic tank that by all rights should have been replaced.
I was given yet another proposal for 2200.00 to do some basic repairs to the existing tank that would prolong its life for a little while.
I asked for a price to replace the tank. After all, I've already flushed 8300.00 away, before I add another 2200.00 I wanted some basis of comparison to determine whether or not I should continue this debacle. I've yet to receive an estimate to replace the tank and I have a septic tank with a piece of plywood for a lid.
I cannot express my disappointment and disgust with this company enough.
There's a lot more I could add but suffice it to say, please be careful if you choose to deal with this establishment.

This review is strictly for the technicians and support staff in the office.  

I had a brand new a/c unit installed in my attic late 2020. It was nothing but trouble from the get-go.  Needless to say after countless calls, tech visits, parts replacements it was fixed through the sheer determination of Omar, the technician, and Kenani in the warranty department.  

I lost count of how many times I was on the phone with Kenani or the number of visits Omar made to my house.  I have been upset, frustrated and confused with why this brand new $$$ unit kept malfunctioning.  Omar never gave up and Kenani never lost her cool even though during some of the calls I was absolutely rude.  Due to some additional issues I have also been working with Michelle in the repair department and we have gone through some serious ups and downs.  She is wonderful!

While my interaction with NexGen in general has not been positive, Omar, Kenani and Michelle deserve 5-stars for their attitude and dedication to helping this customer with some seriously crazy problems.

Our AC units needed a tune up and clean up.  We went with NexGen who provided a reasonable quote for job.  The service Tech Trenton preformed the work. He was very friendly and polite.  He went through his check list and as he identified issues he explained every item of concern. Since our two units are 17 years old there were several items found. None of which were urgent.  
Part way through the service a manager named Joel showed up and explained the options we had should we be interested in replacing or repairing the units.  There was no pressure at all.  I was very satisfied and recommend them.

My complaint has nothing to do with the installation crew. They were Excellent and top notch. My concern involves being charged ($5,000) for the replacement of my old heat pump, with a 2 Ton ductless mini split. It was the hottest day of the year and I was in no position to argue. Twice I've asked for my completed invoice but instead I get the bid sheet. With out that information I can't correctly try to get tax credit. The SEER rating is too low for a rebate, something else I was erroneously told. Hey it was hot and without the service I would have died in that heat, I'm in hospice. I Am grateful for the service, I just feel there is serious room for improvement, but I would definitely still do business with them again. I will just be more proactive and watch the details better. I hope this helps.

Yayyyy!  Thank you so much NexGen for coming to my rescue.   I needed to have a swamp cooler removed so that we could get our brand new spa installed.  The guys delivering the spa was already in place, so we needed someone to come out right away.   We called about 10 places, a few never answered their phones, one company phone was disconnected and one guy told us that he didn't want to remove it because he didn't install it!  Huh???!!!  Really??  No one wanted to help.

Then along came Sandra at Nexgen. Sandra answered immediately and said someone will be out in 35-40 minutes.  She knew exactly what we needed done.   The guys came by in 20 minutes, removed the cooler in 5 and we were back in business!  What service!!!! They even helped the poor spa guys, with getting my new spa delivered.  

Highly recommend the Nexgen crew.   Everyone was so nice, they didn't try to rip me off either.   After the spa was delivered and setup, one of the companies finally got back to us with a quote over $1,000!!!  Ughhh!!  This is way Yelp is so necessary!!  I took off one star because they didn't actually do any HVAC service.  I will be using them if I ever need service in the future.

Watch out these guys will rip you off! I had a service call and the technician diagnosed my cooling failure correctly. A circuit breaker had tripped. After resetting the power box he recommended surge protectors be installed $432/unit x 2 $864 total. I had no idea what they should cost but expected I would be charged a fair price by a respectable business but boy was I wrong! After they left I took a picture of the surge protector and found it cost $79 on Amazon. The work took 1hour and they charged $686 excluding cost of the parts.  They gave me no breakdown of cost despite request. This is egregious price gouging. A request for a price adjustment has been ignored

Everything was spot on. Manny came out and worked with me on getting exactly the right equipment to replace my aging systems. We agreed on a great price and ZERO percent interest financing. The install started yesterday overseen by Omar with Cesar in the lead and finished up today - 3 new heat pumps with lifetime warranties on the compressors and a new mini-split for the garage with a ten year warranty. Dramatically more efficient - it will pay for itself and I don't have to worry about dependability. I really couldn't be happier.

NexGen put 2 new  A/C-Furnace units in a year and half ago and one unit has been noisy lately so we called them out. Ruben came the SAME DAY day I called and did several diagnostics on the noisy unit; and made adjustments to our thermostats and control board in the attic where furnace units are located. The airflow has increased (2 stage motor was not going to 2nd stage) and noise has gone away from compressor. System running very efficiently.
Can't say enough about the FANTASTIC after sale service from NexGen from the inside scheduling staff, to everyone we have ever dealt with. It was 112 degrees and RAINING while Ruben was working on our system yesterday and he worked very efficiently under difficult conditions without ever complaining or slowing down. I tried to give him a gratuity for a job well done,under adverse conditions, but  he would NOT take it!
I would HIGHLY recommend NexGen to anyone looking for top notch HVAC Equipment and Service.

We spent $68. for a service call for absolutely nothing. They told me at the end of the call what I told them at the beginning.

The quote to replace 2 parts totalling abround $70.00 was $534.00.

The Sears rep from whom I purchased the parts determined the level of install as EASY.

Sean was great! We had our ac go out in the master bedroom at one of our rental homes. With the heat being in the triple digits, it was crucial we got it fixed immediately. In the middle of the hottest days our a/c was on its last legs. Our system is almost 30 years old so we decided it was time for a complete new one. I called for an estimate and was scheduled for later that same day. He was a little early and started right to work. The estimate was fair and after he offered another slight discount we signed and were told it could be done the next day. Promptly at 7:50 2 trucks pulled up and 4 men introduced themselves and immediately began dismantling the old 2 systems and beginning the install. All the men were polite and very conscientious. They each had a specific job and were amazing!!  Another team member joined them a short time later. The only time they stopped was for lunch. They informed me of rat droppings in the crawl space and when I asked they agreed to bait the area since I couldn't crawl up there. I can't thank Checho, Peter, Pedro, Roger and Bala enough . They were professional, courteous, cleaned up everything and went above and beyond. All done and working by 5:30 the same day. We were going to get more estimates but I'm glad we went with NexGen.  They are awesome!!

Things go Wrong but you have to value and respect those companies who fix their problems!

I reported a bad situation with this company. Thankfully, as much to our surprise, NexGen called my wife's cell and immediately and followed up apologizing for our issues we have with their service . The technician followed up as well and took immediate corrective action.

It would have better to have had a great experience from the beginning and not have been pitched with extreme upsells and had a technician who was more professional. But, things happened and companies who fix their issues are the ones who learn and adjust and correct themselves.

I have used NEXGEN for almost 4 years. In 2019 they replaced my entire HVAC system and water heater. I continue to use them for my regular preventive maintenance as well.
Today Jervon Knight came out to service the ac to get it ready for the summer. Since I am a Type A personality and obsess over details, I think I'm qualified when I say Jervon was obsessed with doing a great job. He was dedicated, professional, meticulous and very knowledgeable. This is why I trust NEXGEN. They show up when they say they will. If they are going to be late, they call to let you know. Never showed up, didn't call to cancel. I called them 2 hours after they missed the arrival time and they apologized but couldn't get the plumber to show up at all that day. I ended up just doing the repair myself. Quality of this company is dependent on the plumber they send. Perhaps management could be more on-top of whom they dispatch to see if they actually show up.

Though our house was built 16 years ago and our heater is 16 years old, I have been annoyed about the burning smell from our heater. We are concerned about the possible health hazard.
Yesterday afternoon, Technician Angel came to our house, to do heater tune-up and intensive clean-up, and to install air scrubber. I am impressed with his dedication, patience, honesty, and skill. I have had several a/c companies over the years, with having several homes in the past, rentals, our own home in West Los Angeles and in La Quinta. My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars over the years, two units on the roof of different properties. That gets very expensive as you well know. Manny came out and looked at our unit in La Quinta he did his math and was able to tell us what we MIGHT need in the future, never tried to sell us not one thing. He told us, my husband and I (old english) how much our unit was putting out as to the electric etc., I was telling him that we had so much dust in the condo, I thought it might be the ducting I was told their might be a hole in the ducting, Manny looked up in to the attic, took pictures to show us there were no holes that it might be our dryer that wasn't working properly it wasn't venting and explained how the dryer vent works. I already knew that it wasn't venting right, and Manny answered my question that I already knew, he still never tried to sell us anything once again. I was telling Manny that my husband gets on a sneezing attack, he told us that he just bought a home a few years ago, and we all know when the wind blows the fine dust comes in. He told us that he put a unit into his home  that is connected to the a/c unit that will purify the air and my husband and I thought about it for awhile, with my husband being an attorney people tippytoe around us and have a great respect for us, so we did buy the unit, it's not expensive either but what is your breathing worth. I have never been so pleased with the care and respect from Nexgen. I will never, I mean NEVER use anybody else again in the desert. Ruben came out today, Manny did tell us the the vents in our bedroom were not the right size so we bought two new vents for the back bedroom, and living upstairs the afternoon sun beats on our bedroom wall, so he said that this will help a great deal. We have been telling the other companies that we are not getting good air since 2001 and finally 17 years later we now have good air coming into the bedroom because Manny LISTENED to us and heard what we had to say and he fixed it.

We have a manufactured home, have lived here 7 years, and never had our ducts cleaned out! They scheduled a free estimate evaluation quickly, and when we saw the state of our ducts from pictures, we knew we had to hire these guys. Trenton came out the next day, used a powerful shop vac to clean the ducts, and we added on an intake sanitize and whole house ion purifier. Trenton was so kind, professional, thorough, and went above and beyond for us. We have serious allergies and an immunocompromised child in our home, so this was such an important thing to do. The price was very reasonable, and the before and after pictures made my year. Great company, great staff.

I was experiencing rattling in the walls and called NexGen during regular working hours.  A plumber came by and said I needed a pressure valve and a new turn off lever.  He said the charge would be $1500.  Unfortunately I am 85 years old and didn't want any more anxiety, so I agreed.  Although the plumber was a gentleman and came by later the same day to make the repair,  I felt that I was over charged.  After talking with friends,  I confirmed the charge for this service was exorbitant.  I feel as though I was taken advantage of and cannot recommend your company to others.

These guys replaced my decrepit, outdated, expensive AC system. They replaced all ducting, new vents, insulated my entire roof, got me the BEST system on the market(thanks Sean) at an un beatable price and even moved my water tank into the roof and moved my furnace outside. Truly amazing. I didn't like seeing the compressor from my back patio, so they even built a screen. Included was a years maintenance to boot!! I now control my AC from my phone. My energy cost went down considerably the first month and has maintained about 30-40% less energy consumption annually. Pablo out of all the guys that serviced my unit over the year was the most informative and helpful. One star I took off because(through no fault on his part) he came at me with 'sale' after 'sale' after 'sale'. I blame the company. Leave us reading material and verbalise ONE sales pitch. A surge protector, water filter, full star foam wash, cover, filters....the list goes on. Pablo educated me on how to maintain my unit and system, to keep it running perfectly. He brought me the filter to ask if I wanted it changed, he said it still looked good and thought it didn't need replacing just yet but because my maintenance contract was running out, he left me a new filter to replace when I need to in a month or so. He called me outside to give me some 'seasonal tips' on how to protect my condenser during times of non use....never done by any of the other service guys. These guys in my eyes, are the best in the valley.

Manny came out to do a system check on a Saturday morning. He was very thorough. He spent a very long time checking the components in the attic and the compressor. We knew our 16 year old system was probably about ready to fail and Manny confirmed. NexGen has state of the art computers and tools to correctly analyze the problems.  We decided to have him explain the replacement options. He did a great job with the details. He got Sean the GSM on the phone to work with us on the price. They filled out the IID Rebate Form so we could get a large energy rebate. I can't say enough good things about Manny, Sean and the professional install team. Call NexGen for your HVAC needs.

New to the desert and having A/C so I wanted to get my units inspected to be sure they were reliable heading into the warm weather months.  Called up NexGen and they scheduled a service for the next day.  Trenton came out ON TIME (!) explained the process to me, and got down to work.  After 20 minutes he was ready with his review and recommendations.  He explained everything technically, but in a way I could understand.  He didn't push me to make any decisions/purchases right away, but did let me know which ones were a priority.  When I chose what path to follow, he did the work, cleaned up, ran my card, and departed.  About an hour.  Definitely will use and recommend these guys going forward.  Probably going to buy their annual service plan as well.  Now on to the water heaters!

I had Nexgen in my house to tune up and clean my ac units
Two days later my main unit failed. I filed a claim with my Home Warranty and when this technician checked the cleaned unit he found out that the coil was clogged. It was not touched since a while!
Next time I will have a tech here I will look over his shoulder and check after him if he really did the work I paid

Nexgen refunded my payment 100 % after complaint. They were very serious about this matter which I appreciate

on monday, may 8, 2019, i called nexgen to book a service call.  my a/c would not come on.  i was not able to get my usual serviceman , manny, because he was promoted.  congratulations manny !  manny is the top of the line as a/c servicemen go, but i must write that, sean, the man that came out was just as good as manny.  the house is being remodeled and is vacant, and i was not at the property.  i told sean / shawn where the key was hidden, and i told him he could go to the house any time before wednesday morning.  sean arrived on monday, and told me the 110-volt cord was unplugged for the for main a/c unit in the garage.  my fault - dau!  i was pleased to find out that i was only being charged $68 for the service call.  sean told me there was no problems with the unit after he plugged it in, other than dirty coils.
sean gave me recommendations for improvements, and this only took 2-minutes.  as usual from nexgen there was no high pressure sales pitch from sean.  i will ask for sean the next time i have a problem.  btw: sean gave me his cell phone number should i have any problems in the future !
how many companies do that?  sean is a pro and he is honest !  use nexgen and ask for sean.

My A/C underwent a performance check/tune-up recently; however, the week after it shut down and I had a tenant living in my Palm Springs condo who suffered as a result. The Indoor temp reached to nearly 90!
An emergency phone call to Nexgen resulted in MANNY, one of their technicians, arriving within 2 hours and completely resolving the issue.
An oil leak in the system caused a bad condenser fan motor, which he
replaced ($800.00). Unexpected (and unaffordable) but necessary.
THUMBS UP TO MANNY! Your diligence, courtesy, technical skills and professionalism finally cooled things off to an igloo environment.

I am having an invoice-related issue with Nexgen, whereby they could only identify the problem as generic, giving no specifics about the repair. I am optimistic they will reach out and give me an accurate and detailed invoice which should be expected of a reputable business.
I plan to upgrade my overall rating to a 5* once this has been resolved.

My wife and I  wanted an air conditioning unit and replace our old heating unit . We called three companies for estimates and only one NEXGEN came out the same day,the others could not come until a week later. Jorge showed up on time and would not come in until he covered his shoes which my wife loved. He was very professional and explained everything in detail , we were so impressed we canceled with the other companies and decided on a tankless water heater also. The install crew showed up the next day and were even early a rarity these days. (Edgar,Mario, Pedro, and Roger) were professional, neat and thorough. Finished in two days and left our house exactly how they found it, neat and clean. When they were finished the next day we wanted some pipes covered on the water heater, Jorge came back out looked it over and came up with a plan. He talked to Christy in the office and ordered the part. It took about a week for the part to come in, but Christy kept  us informed throughout. The part was installed to our surprise at no further cost to us. NEXGEN is a breath of fresh air and we are customers for life.     THANK YOU for everything.  AL and CAROLYN.

We had some more trouble with the new AC unit. I was pretty upset about it. I was out of town, we spent a sizeable chunk of change on the unit and I was frustrated to say the least. What I learned from this most recent experience with Nexgen is that, no matter how upset and frustrated I am, they keep their composure and really try to get down and fix the problem. That was one of the feelings of frustration I had because last year I went weeks and weeks in the middle of the hottest summer out here, dealing with shoddy home warranty servicers with no resolution. I thought maybe I was going to be on the same path again with Nexgen but that to be untrue.

I called the office Monday after not receiving an update on Friday. They explained to me that the replacement circuit board was in Encino and that is was scheduled to be in the Coachella Valley by Tuesday. Kanani in the warranty department said that she was sending a driver to Encino the same day to go pick it up and that it would be done by the end of the day. Several minutes later I received a call from Customer Experience Manager Cory apologizing, empathizing and promising to dig into the issue to make sure it was resolved.

Omar showed up again and made the repairs. He explained to me that there was another part that he did not have on the truck that had been recalled. He tested mine and said that, although still working, was showing high resistance. He said he would be back today to install that so that it was not an issue this summer.

This!!!!! This is customer service! It is so refreshing to know that the people on the other side of the phone will do their very best to get the job done. I can rest easier and be a little more patient knowing I wont get jerked around by Nexgen. Kanani, Cory, Omar and everyone that worked on my issue.......Thank you! Job well done. You guys are awesome!

PS......Omar made sure to clean the compressor unit and make sure it was already to go too. I felt like that was an extra step he wasn't required to do but showed that he is committed to excellence.

update: after talking with sean, he resolved everything. the ac unit , new furnance included and discounted my bill and that type of customers service is important. i did not have to wait he lined everyone up the next morning.  i am happy with my experience and learning  about central ac units.  sean took the time to explain it to me. i appreciate all that was done for me. also sandra was a great help to me with questions i had. she has a great energy, kind. i would like to say that it is important to educate yourself.  this was a big project. lots of learning. thank you nexgen.

We had an exceptional experience with Nexgen Heating and Air today.  We contracted to get our HVAC system checked and maintained. Our Technician, Carter Mendoza, was professional, honest and cheerful while servicing our systems. He was straight with us, presented us options on how to improve the system and what each option cost, and did not pressure us at all to buy things we didn't necessarily need.  He is an asset to the company.  Outstanding service - I highly recommend!

My AC units needed a cleanup and tuneup and decided to use Nexgen . A technician name Pablo was sent to my home to do an eval and was professional and knowledgeable. He went over the details and took his time to explained to me what had to be done as well as his honest input. I truly appreciate it because I knew absolutely nothing about AC system and I appreciate the knowledge. I can say I can depend on them and decide to use them for my routine maintenance. Pablo thank you for everything. If you're looking for dependability and honesty this is the company to use.

What an amazing experience from walking into the office, and having Sandra get me scheduled for a consultation for the next day.  Ruben was very prompt and went about examining the attic and found that the insulation was so old in the house and that along with the section going into the west end of the house was crinkled.  He showed me pictures of the area, and he schedule me for the next morning.  WOW!  Rodrigo and his co-worker arrived promptly at 8 and had the vent fixed, and the insulation sprayed in in about 1 1/2 hours.  They too were very pleasant, and left my place cleaned up, and when I turned on the heat the entire house was comfortable, and has been ever since.

Thank you so much NexGen for your high quality employees and getting me scheduled in immediately.  I have already recommended you to a couple of my neighbors.

These guys have gone DOWN HILL fast. They are no longer reliable, professional, or competitive.

We had some plumbing work done weeks ago and have been struggling waiting for the project to be completed.

Avoid these guys if at all possible.

Great service from the Customer Service person on the phone to the Install Crew. I called after I had been let down by Cathedral City Air Conditioning the previous night when they failed to show or call for the A/C appt they had scheduled for me. It  was 111 with humidity.
I was given an appt for 12 that same day on a Sat with Nextgen Air. I was so thankful to then. I really appreciated Manny the Repair Tech trying to help me speak with the stone voiced woman from Authorizations say absolutely nothing helpful.
They showed up on time and worked very hard in the desert heat all day installing a new unit. I would definitely recommend them.

I had a leak from a bathtub pipe and NextGen came out to find the source. They used their camera system and found a crack in the drain pipe. Tyler was very helpful and extremely polite. On top of this he didn't charge me for the service visit!  I was floored! I highly recommend NextGen for their service!

I recently had me A/C serviced and Freon added and was very pleased with my technicians courtesy, attention to detail and explaining everything to me in a way I can understand.  Ruben did a great job making me feel like a friend vs just another job that he needs to get done.  I really do appreciate that type of personal connection. I was kinda surprised  when I saw him on the commercial last night!  lol  My overall experience with Nexgen air was very positive from contacting them through Yelp, quick communication, fast appointment set up and were able to arrive earlier than expected.  Great job to Ruben and the Nextgen Air team!

These guys stood out from five other HVAC professionals. We needed a whole new system and we wanted to get advanced air filtering. This made a few companies see us as an ATM. The NexGen guys were patient and explained everything, offering better air filtration than anyone (we have a bubble now!) and beating their prices by $10k. They also service/tune the unit every month for ten bucks. Our A/C is variable speed, so it's always on. It never gets hot and then blasts on. We find we can tolerate higher temps this way and it's saving us all kinds of energy. I trust them to service us for years to come. Their work crew was kind and helped us stay safely in the house while they totally rewired and reinsulated the attic. NexGen is just old time business: upstanding and with a great work ethic. I appreciated their urgency about getting our new HVAC in before the heat started.

Both of my 4 ton units expired in 110+ weather. I called NexGen and informed them that I was on the east Coast, 2500 miles away. They were at my house in an hour to evaluate and they gave me a very competitive bid. Communicating with them was a pleasure. Everything was explained in clear precise terms. This was on Saturday. I authorized them to proceed and the job was completed on Monday. Before and after pictures were sent to me and the difference was amazing!  In addition, they called me to set up the two Nest thermostats on my iPhone. The office staff was so responsive and helpful and continue to follow up to insure that I'm satisfied. This was one fantastic experience with a well run organization from the owner to the estimators to the installers to the office staff.

I was able to get on the schedule for a service call the same day within hours - such a pleasant surprise! Equally as pleasant was Roger Cuadra, the technician who came out. He was ahead of schedule and called to let us know he could come earlier. He was very thorough in explaining what the possible problems were and then went up on the roof to inspect our unit. He came down with lots of pictures and gave us his best recommendation. He a pleasure to deal with and his card will be put someplace I can easily find it when we're ready for our next service call. Recently had NexGen install a new A/C unit, furnace and water heater. Ruben came to look at our property initially on a Friday afternoon. He spent a great deal of time with us going through different options and solutions. We particularly liked that NexGen sent a technician rather than a mere salesperson, as it was clear Ruben knew the ins and outs of what he was talking about. He was transparent, fair, and eager to help us out. The team were all incredibly respectful when working on our house. If it weren't for COVID, we would absolutely have invited them to crack open a beer to celebrate the wonderful work they did! Thank you, NexGen.

I gave them 2 stars since I eventually got a working system.  I was talked into a Daiken VRV system.  After 3 weeks of issues and several service calls, they could not figure out why they couldn't get it to work right.  Spent 10 hours with 2 install teams the last day I let them get it right.  They couldn't.  Told them to pull it out and give me something else.  Techs were not familiar enough with this new technology or the thermostats.  They had installed some sort of cable they shouldn't have which wouldn't allow them to communicate with each other.  They still didn't work well after that.  BTW if you live in the Coachella Valley or anywhere that gets very hot, DON'T get a Daiken.  The tech even said they don't work well in the extreme climate here.  The salesmen even admitted it later.  They installed Amana systems.  One of the systems had an issue from the beginning, but they said, Oh, give it some time.  Turns out they forgot some steps to program the variable speed blower.  Too many steps forgotten and some days spent in a hot house.  Same system still seems to have issues at times.   Not Happy and will not use again.

Nextgen performed a check up and cleaning of our air conditioners.  The service person was friendly, and reviewed the findings regarding our units with us verbally and very quickly (too quickly) showed some numbers and pictures.  

Findings were reviewed too quickly for me to understand, so I asked him to send the findings to me via email.  He said the office would send, but never did. He tried selling me additional services, but I said I wanted to wait till I had the detailed findings and photos to support his service recommendations.

I've had follow-up with NextGen office three times, trying to get me to authorize additional services.  Each time they said would look into sending the supporting documentation, but never did. The only follow-up by the NextGen was upsell on additional costly services.  I would not blindly authorize services without the supporting facts and documentation which would justify the servicing.

This past weekend, I came home from out of town to find a strong water leak in my yard, which was coming from under a tree. I eventually contacted multiple companies through Yelp, and Nexgen was the first to respond. That was very much appreciated given the urgency. Nexgen was able to schedule a plumbing technician that same day.

The technician, Jaime Rios, was both very professional and approachable throughout the process of repairing the broken pipe. He even returned the next day to follow up and make sure that everything is in order.

I recommend Nexgen to anyone in the Coachella Valley who needs plumbing services.

Tired to rip me off by charging 7000 plus dollars for a water heater that i could get installed for 2000. Funny the founders message is he believes in not ripping people off - what a joke! Avoid this company at all cost.!!

I called and a tech came out to give an estimate.
The estimate was sent to my realtor, but nothing to me. Called 2 times & still have no breakdown of the costs.
The estimate is double of what Lowes is & at this point I don't know where they are padding the bill.
They are nice on the phone but no follow thru.

Ruben with Nextgen did an excellent job of finding the issue quickly and repairing it properly. I had, had a different HVAC company out the day before and they told me that an expensive part in the attic unit needed to be replaced at a cost of over $500. I decided to call NexGen for a 2nd opinion. After analyzing the system Ruben found that the power switch that runs to the condenser outside was faultily and needed to be replaced. The cost was much less than the first quote and Ruben found the actual problem. Ruben had the AC working in about an hour. After two days with an indoor temp of 88 degrees, we were glad to have the AC working again. I am a NexGen customer now!

We knew our system was on its last legs.  We met first with Manny, very helpful, and showed my husband (ex-contractor) exactly what was going on.  It was clear it was time to move forward with a new system.  Manny again helped coordinate and the installation was completed in a few days with minimal disruption.  We can already tell the difference.  They forgot a part and while they were waiting for someone to run it out rather than just standing around they went ahead and insulated our utility closet!  Really happy with Manny and the rest of the team, and our new system.

Ramon and Pablo did a great job of cleaning the air ducts and servicing the a/c and heater.  I particularly appreciated that they took before and after photos of the work they performed so I have a permanent visual record of the work needed and done.  I will ask for them for future work.

Very disappointed. Had them come out to inspect a leak, they did. I was told they'd be out next day at 10am to run test on the issue. I get a call late in the afternoon next day stating the individual who helped the day before was off and they wouldn't be able to help with the test anymore. How do you tell someone you're going to help next day if your off? Make it make sense. Definitely shouldn't trust their service. Guess I should have read all the unreliable reviews.

Our hot water heater failed on Friday morning.  We called Nexgen and by 2pm Jaime was at our home. We had done some research and knew that we wanted a tank less hot  water heater.  Jaime and I discussed the options and I made a selection.  He returned on Saturday and had the installation completed by 6pm.  Jaime was considerate, courteous, knowledgeable and communicated  completely and thoroughly thru the entire process.  We feel we were given a fair and reasonable price with exemplary service by Jaime Rios. We are now and will remain a loyal Nexgen customer.  I work in in-home sales and will happily refer Nexgen and Jaime to all my clients.

We moved into a new house as first time homeowners and had NexGen come out to check on our two HVAC systems before summer came around. Trenton was so professional, friendly, and informative. He was super knowledgeable and made sure we knew our options in a non-biased way. We decided to replace our systems and Joel was a great resource all the way through. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and we never felt pressured to go a certain direction. He worked with us so tirelessly to make sure the financing was good, the project went along in a timely manner, and made things right when we had some unforeseen delays. The install crew was also wonderful, punctual, cleaned up afterwards, and did an amazing job. It was always easy to get ahold of Joel or the office over the phone when we had questions. We are so happy with our two new HVAC systems and we'll definitely be using NexGen for maintenance in the future!

is very Professional, Respectful and knowledgeable found my problem gave us multiple options to repair with no pressure to buy anything. Sean is courteous and fair with his pricing . They also have yearly service plans available for worry free maintenance. Great experience this is my second time using them for major repairs of older units. The annual service they just call and let you know it's time for service and show up as promised.

Jaime Rios (plumber) is exceptional!  He installed a Halo water system and new outside pressure valve today.  He was on time, professional, and courteous --just like our NexGen HVAC service techs last month!  Jaime provided accurate estimates prior to his work.   I will definitely call him for any future plumbing needs.

Called the company for a checkup on our system. They responded in a few minutes and provided an appointment the same day.  Ruben was very informative and knowledgeable.  We were so pleased with his service. He arrived on time and was very nice to answer all of our questions. Great deal for all the checks on the whole unit.
