And then when the heater had an issue three years later, he came out and took care of business immediately and helped us secure the part for free under warranty and fixed the water heater. We had a broken water heater so I scoured Yelp for help and was hopeful when I read all the positive reviews on this page. I reached out to him via Yelp. He provided an estimate based on a couple of photos I shared with him, which made other bids seem outrageous and exorbitant.

He's responsive and professional. He was able to schedule me on the following morning. He replaced our Gas Control valve and Gas shut off valve in about an hour and a half. Now we're back to having hot water again!

Dimitar is our go-to plumber. Over the past 2 years we've had to call him a number of times to have very rusty angle stop valves, rusty fixtures and broken pressure gauges replaced. Our water heater quit late on a Sunday.  I was pleasantly surprised that Dimitar responded with a quote within ten minutes that evening.  He arrived the next day to do the work exactly when he promised.  When we encountered a problem in replacing the heater with a comparable product, Dimitar gave me all the options and the pros and cons of each.  He was able to complete the work in just a couple hours with minimal household intrusion.

Dimitar replaced our water heater which had a problem with sediment blocking the recirculating pump inlet. Fantastic service! He did a better installation than the original, brought everything up to current code, explained the reasons for all of them, and still came in at the estimate he gave at the start of the job. Very effecient and the the water heater and recirculating system are now working perfectly.  I would definitely recommend him to my friends and relatives.

I can't say enough good things about Dimitar and Maxx Water Heater Service. After having a different plumber cancel on me 3 times - I called Maxx at 4:30 pm and Dimitar showed up within 45 minutes. He shut the water off to the water heater and returned the next morning to replace the water heater. He also replaced our regulator. He was friendly, efficient and professional.

Of course our water heater waited for a global pandemic before it started leaking! Can't complain too much, it was 19 years old. In any case, Dimitar from Maxx Water Heater Service to the rescue! I obtained a few quotes before speaking with Dimitar. Within an hour of speaking to him he was at my door, provided an excellent quote and said the job could be done right away. We opted for a new 40 gal storage tank. He started draining the old and went to pick up a new one. Within 45 min he was back and got to work! Dimitar came and unclogged the drain in our  bathtub.  He was prompt and professional.  He called me when he was on his way to our place and quickly assessed the situation when he arrived.  I was really worried that this would be an expensive and time consuming issue but Dimitar was super efficient and the price was extremely reasonable  and I would recommend his services to anyone.

He did an estimate for us during the process of buying our new home, then we quickly called him to come do the work as his rates were reasonable and he came highly recommended from our realtor. My water heater sprung a leak last Saturday.  Spent wknd researching big box stores and other popular plumbing companies.  Wasted a lot of time doing that.  Those estimates were double, even triple the price.  
Based on a recommendation, I went with Dimitar at Maxx Water Heater Service.  Very upstanding, professional Technician.  He quoted me a fair price to remove, replace and haul away my old unit.  In addition, I asked if he could replace my water pressure regulator.  He did that and charged a reduced labor rate.  Can't say enough good things about Dimitar and his company!  Highly recommend!

Maxx water heater and plumbing service went above and beyond any experience I have had. He came out on the evening I called after another service and it was 6:30 in the evening. He checked my water heater, listened to my questions and said I need a new one. I asked him how soon he could do it and he told me I will be there tomorrow morning at 10:00 am and will remove and dispose your old water heater and put a brand new one in. He was here the next morning right on time. He did all the work by himself and I live on Mount Helix so it was a lot of stairs and not an easy job. Dimitar came over, so I explained everything, he took a look, opened some pipes cleaned them, and there was a white piece which was in one of the pipes, so he removed it, the water flow became so much better. Another company told me I needed to replace my water heater, and they told me a price tag at 1700, while Dimitar fixed the issue, and I paid only 150. I admit I was skeptical with all 5 star reviews but I'm so glad I called. My first call couldn't come for 2 days but reasonable price, 2nd call couldn't quote over the phone so they came at 3 pm and gave me a very high quote and said they couldn't do it that day because it was too late. I called Here at 4:30, got a quote over the phone, half the cost of the other with a better warranty and he came at 5:30 and was done before 7:30 so my daughter could shower. Quick, easy, good work and good price. I highly recommend.

So my water heater (the builder-installed Bradford lowest-cost-bidder White model) decided that, after three short years of service, it was no longer going to hold water, and proceeded to empty it's contents in an indiscriminate manner.  I called Dimitar Friday morning, hoping to have hot water in time for the evening's showers.  He answered the phone, said he'd be at my house at 2:00.  He was on-time, removed the old unit, installed the new unit, and even installed a new metal drain pipe (to replace the old plastic version).  By 5:00 that evening, I had hot water (thanks to a brand new Rheem heater).  Dimitar's install was top-notch - fast, professional, and courteous.   And he even cleaned everything up (not something all plumbers do).  He has earned the Plumber speed-dial slot for any future needs.  I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Dimitar changed my water heater and associated piping and fittings.  The water heater looks amazing, the changed out pipings and fittings no longer leak or look calcified.

The great thing about Dimitar at Maxx, was that my water heater was not broken.  I had requested a quote to change within an allotted two week period I had given myself for budgeting purposes.  So, this visit wasn't an emergency.  But, when Dimitar showed up same day I requested the quote, not only did he provide me a budget friendly quote, but he said he could change it that same day with no problems.

Needless to say, I had him come by the next day to change the water heater.  Took him 2 hours.  He left everything clean and tidy, the new water heater looks amazing, and the water comes out hotter than ever.

This is the third time I called Maxx Water Heater Service. Dimitar is very responsive and fair with his pricing for what he does. He goes above and beyond. We had a leak inside the shower handle. It is called a mixer I think where the hot and cold water are mixed. He found the parts which was a big challenge and fortunately we had him replace the shower parts in both bathrooms and shockingly they were both leaking. He came to the job both days without any delays. This is the third property he has worked on for us.

Prices are high. $165 to scale a tankless  water heater is too much. Installation charge to replace a failing water heater (with plumbing, gas, and electric already in place) was also way too high.

We needed someone to install water softeners to our house. Not only did  Dimitar have competitive quotes compared to other companies, but he was responsive, knowledgeable, and radiated trustworthiness. This was the first time using Maxx Services, but definitely not our last! Highly recommend.

We had to turn off the gas during our kitchen remodel and then could not get the water heater pilot re-lit after turning the gas back on. I requested a quote (at 9 p.m.) via Yelp and Dimitar, the owner, responded within 10 minutes, scheduled an appointment for the next morning and arrived promptly. He diagnosed the problem quickly (a clogged gas line) and fixed it in a few minutes for a very reasonable fee. Excellent, responsive and honest -- deserves the highest marks for service and honesty. Dimitar first helped us a couple of years ago when our water heater spontaneously leaked while we were out of town. The leak extended into our adjoining neighbor's home, completely flooding most of her first floor.  He came quickly to remove the old water heater and set us up with a temporary one until the drywall repairs and restoration were complete.  The price for everything was reasonable and he was on time and very polite.  At that time I advised my neighbor to change her water heater with him as well but she put it off and a month later, after the water damage was all fixed, her water heater broke and caused more damage.  This was a wake up call on how important it is to keep on top of maintaining and changing your water heater because living in torn up drywall and carpeting with super loud fans blowing in your house for several weeks can make you crazy!  We now flush it every year and we just had Dimitar install an anode to help prolong the life of the water heater.  Very, very satisfied and would 100% recommend him!

Our outdoor water heater stopped working Friday morning. I couldn't take a shower. I thought This stinks. We have a home warranty which is usually as useful as ice cubes in Antarctica. They had their contractor come out and provide an estimate. They were nice people, thorough and informative. However, they couldn't install the new water heater until Tuesday. I can go a day or so without a hot shower, but 5 days? We would need to hire an exterminator to get rid of the flies.

So, all day Friday I sent requests here on Yelp. Most of the requests to the companies on Yelp either couldn't do it quickly or their prices were 2-3 times as high as what we knew they should be. One person was just downright rude. We called Home Depot and Lowes. Both were as useful as... well, ice cubes in... you get it. Calling the big box stores was terrible. When we called we were on hold for almost an hour. We got disconnected. When we finally reached the correct department, they didn't listen to what we needed. One manager said his vendor would call us in a few minutes. 2 hours later, no call. It was a most frustrating experience. We were starting to lose hope.

My son was helping me to research this to find someone that could come to our rescue. He found Maxx Water Heater Service and spoke to Dimitar. He gave him all of the details and we sent him photos. He gave us a reasonable quote. He also understood the urgency and made himself available to come out the next day.

We bought our home a year ago, knowing the water heater might need to be replaced. Almost exactly on the 1-year anniversary, the water heater started leaking so we knew it was time. We called a few places but Dimitar took our call and said he could stop by in 40 min to take a look and give us an estimate. He was there right on time, his price was reasonable and he set an appointment to come back at 9am the next morning. He told us it would take about 2 hours and that was exactly right. Great service! Our water heater was going out after 15 years. We spent three days setting up appointments with different plumbers and some would quote us an outrageous price and some just wouldn't show up.
