I had a very problematic air conditioner.  After my initial and only service payment, Just Right Services had to return a total of seven times before the air conditioning worked properly.  It is not pleasant on either end to have to call so many times because the air conditioner was not blowing cold air or have to return so many times to have to figure out the problem.  Still, this is a 5 star review for Drew and Mitch, a father/son team, because from the first call to the last call both were always professional, well-mannered, timely and most of all persistent about locating the problem until it was finally fixed.  I have waited a few weeks before writing the review to make sure the air conditioner is still blowing cold air and it is!  Hurray!  These two are a super conscientious duo!

I called Drew Monday morning and he was at the house by 11am. Very straightforward and clear communication. He detected an issue with my AC within minutes and was able to fix it right away.
There were others who would charge around $90 just to come to my house to look at it, just right services did it Free. Will definitely use them again and can highly recommend them.

The air went out it's 99 degrees and it's covid! Placed a call and Mitch came over and we were Up and running ! At a time when it's hotter than normal and we are at home more because of the world now, we rely on things at home to work. Mitch was pleasant, prompt, he wore a mask he was honest and the price charged was great! I will let everyone know about just right services for air and other needs as they offer plumbing and other services as well, it's good to know a local trustworthy company ! Thank you !

Drew, the owner, and this company will do whatever they can to fix your HVAC system. My condo was built in 1983 and the AC unit is in need of a full replacement, but I'm planning on selling in a few weeks so I really just needed a temporary solution to get through July heatwaves. The first technician they sent out was SO nice and helpful but I believe that he wasn't as knowledgable in servicing older system. It's not his fault though. Again, my AC unit and the entire system is very old. I called back two weeks later and Drew listened to my concerns patiently and offered to come out the next day. When I explained that I can't make it through another night without AC, he said he'd stop by at the end of his day. He arrived on time, explained everything he was doing along the way, and even left to meet up with another technician to find a part needed to fix my AC. I believe their prices are reasonable, they're an honest company, and they truly want to be sure that they can help. Would highly recommend!

If I could give these wonderful folks 10 stars, I would! Our water heater failed, and the JUST RIGHT SERVICES team, especially Robert May, could not have performed any better. Great experience. A/C blower fan stopped working so I gave Just Right Services a call. The dispatcher was friendly, set proper expectations for the inspection fee, and gave me a time window when the tech would arrive.

Sal arrived on time, calling 30 minutes ahead of his arrival. COVID safety precautions and cleanliness precautions were adhered to (shoe covers and a rubber mat to protect the flooring). He was friendly and quickly diagnosed that I had a seized motor. Absolutely no upsells or 'replace the A/C unit' lines that you read about with other companies.

As we chatted while he replaced the motor, I could tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work. 45 minutes later my A/C was up and running again.

Fair price and quality work. Will definitely do business with Just Right Services again.

I gave an earlier review of 5 stars as I thought the work had been completed.  After the last 8 months of working with the city to get full compliance and have amended my review to the above for the following reasons.
When Drew came to my house in October of 2016 he explained the changes that had occurred in the industry since I had my original unit installed 12 years prior.  He said that by replacing this unit with a variable speed unit I would use far less energy.  I agree to replace the unit with a top of the line one at a cost just over $14,500. I thought this included everything but found out as the job went on it did not.
First they removed the old unit and were simply going to put the new one on a bed of gravel.  I opted to pay a concrete contractor to have it done right.
Drew's son showed up on the day of the install with two other young me and they began to work.  Based on the 5 star reviews I felt confident that they knew what they were doing.  By 10:30 Drew's son left, never to be seen again.  I was left with two individuals who admitted that they had been in the business, 11 and 8 months.  They fumbled around trying to put the new unit up in the attic arriving at the conclusion that it would not fit through the existing holes and showing me where they were going to cut, in a very visible area in the main hallway.  I went up in the attic and recommended that they go through the entry way hall closet where it would be almost invisible.  They cut the hole and it fit perfectly however they don't repair the drywall that would be my cost.  
They then set about showing me where they were going to cut a new hole in the hallway for the intake vent.  I explained that it was right next to my central security fire monitor and that they would need to seal it off.  They indicated they understood, however, 15 minutes later the alarm is blaring and I have to call the carrier and inform them that it was a false alarm.
I cleaned the unit and told them to wrap it again, and again, 15 minutes later it goes off.  I clean it and put it together and cover it up myself.
After they complete cutting the intake vent and putting in the cover grate the fire up unit for a test and it sounds like a hurricane as, no surprise to me, it is almost direct motor to vent.  They leave and tell me that Drew's son will be by the next day taking us into the 5th day of a 2 day installation.
I begin to patch the dings and push the ceiling light back up into the attic that they had stepped on and forgot to tell me.
The next day Drew's son shows up and almost immediately begins to apologize, something both Drew and his son are very good at.  He admits he should have spent more time on my job but it is a busy time in the season.
He looks at their work and shakes his head.  He has to do quite a bit of duct work to silence the noise and repair the installation.  He also pulls out about a trash can full of material they were going to leave behind.
He also had not seen one of the monitoring panels before and as the two other installers left with the instructions we had to go online to figure out how to set everything up.
So I think I am done, oh no!
Over the next 4 months I continue to get letters from the city that I have not finished the job.  I keep sending these to Drew.
Finally I call Drew and ask him why the city keeps sending me these.  He asks if I have had the Thrush inspection done. I replied that I had no idea what he was talking about and then scheduled the inspection which Drew indicated was the only thing the city of Newport Beach would need.
After the inspection I scheduled the first, of which would be, many inspections.  
Upon arrival the inspector asked me if I had the sound map? I had not idea what that was and he told me that it was the map which showed the distance between the AC unit and the other homes near by which might be impacted by noise.  He said without that he could not continue the inspection.  I showed him the other inspection and he said that this was not necessary.
I called Drew and he ordered the map.  Upon receipt I scheduled my second inspection.  
They came out and noticed that there were three issues which were clear code violations and one could be a fire hazard.
The inspector printed the list and left.  I sent Drew a list of the items and scheduled another visit.  Please note that each one of these visits takes 2 hours out of my work day, so far we are at 6 hours.
Drew shows up without the list and has to search his phone to find them.  He say, oh I have to go get plywood to do that job.  If he had taken the time he would have known that.  He leaves and comes back and says he is done.  
I have the inspector come back out and he only has done 1 of the 3 items.  Drew begins to argue with me that the inspector does no not know what he is talking about and sends me other code information.  Why am I getting involved?
I am out of space.  Needless to say it took 3 more visits. I am done with Drew.

Great service and I couldn't recommend higher for plumbing, air conditioning or heating.  Unfortunately this year we've needed them three times, once for air, once for heat, and once for a gas leak (plumbing).  I don't write reviews often but Mitch, Drew, and one other (can't remember) have been great on each job.  Communicative, fairly priced, and quick to both respond and come out and do the job.

And unlike others, I felt like they were upfront in handling the job but didn't try to oversell or push anything I didn't need.  I'm hoping I don't need their services for a long time, but whether it's sooner or later, they are my go to team for help.

Thanks again Just Right, you are more than Just Right whenever I need you.

Pros: easy and efficient in booking visits,especially emergency visits; Jared does a great job at booking and follow-up. Drew and his team are very knowledgeable, courteous, professional and collaborative. Love Drew's newsletters and his membership/concierge service.

I can't say enough about Drew and his team's level of detail, knowledge, trustworthiness and problem solving. After two negative experiences with other plumbing companies (one plumber even became very hostile when I did not want to pay for service he came back to redo when he did not fix the original problem that posed a fire hazard with a sparking water heater (I ended up paying him to get him out of my house); afterwards, we feel like we hit the Jackpot finding JustRight Services. Not only did Drew explain the problem so succinctly, with drawing and all, he gave multiple options and created a very collaborative professional relationship. As a female, who has done a lot of renovations with my husband, and hung around with my dad, and assisted him, as a young girl, as he did repairs and upkeep around the house, I have come to expect collaboration from tradesmen. I have no patience for tradesman who tell me that their shoddy work is suppose to look like that; especially when you can show them many expert YouTube videos that says otherwise and instead of problem solving they engage in posturing. We have used Drew and his business for almost a couple of decades and have never experienced Drew, or his team, as taking questioning as a personal insult. Furthermore, I like seeing Drew collaborate and problem solve with his team, which we witnessed during an HVAC system install; it is remarkable (btw--thanks to Mitch and Chris for your HVAC expertise). Just this week we had a hot water slab leak and are very grateful for the speed to which JustRight Services responded to our call, at a time I know is busy for them, and Kudos to Mike for his expertise, professionalism and ability to collaborate. I like how Mike brought other potential problems to my attention, which I knew to be true and was already on my to do list, while never trying to upsell. I appreciated his sincerity and attention to detail which always gives me confidence in his work; and thanks to Mike for his ideas on our cabinetry when he came to complete a plumbing job on our recent kitchen update.
I highly recommend JustRight Services if you want a pluming and HVAC team that are knowledgeable, collaborative, reliable, trustworthy,professional, and clean-up their work environment (even better than they received their work environment).

UH-mazing is all i can say!!!  With record breaking heat and a tenant calling to say the air wasnt working and it was unbearable, i had little hope of getting any service done even within few days. With a call mid morning, Drew was able to come out that same day, arrived on time and found the problem within minutes!  He walked me through the repair and costs and completed the work within an hour. He was honest and very reasonable with pricing. He personally handled every aspect of the repair from start to finish, even the initial phone call which he answered which is so rare these days in the service industry. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR WORK!!

WOW. This company is TOP-NOTCH! Thank you, Just Right! You exceeded my expectations in service & value. From my initial call to job completion, your company was extremely pleasant & professional. My service/repair person was William and I cannot say enough great things about him! To start, he has a very nice personality. He explained in great detail & easy to understand language the extent of the situation/problem. My particular issue was an air conditioning unit that failed to cool. William diagnosed the problem and worked steadily & professionally to repair my a/c system. At one point, there was a suspected, unrelated plumbing problem & Just Right sent out Nick, from your plumbing division, to assess the situation. Upon inspection, Nick determined the issue was minor and resolved the small problem on the spot. There was no additional charge from Just Right! Your company really is AMAZING! It is challenging to find competent, friendly, trustworthy repair companies & I have definitely found one in Just Right! I plan to highly recommend you to family & friends. If my HVAC ever breaks down again, I'd give this business the cold shoulder.

My AC stopped working with temperatures well in the 90s.  I was desperate to find someone to fix my AC ASAP.  I called this place based on the positive Yelp reviews.  

Pro: The technician was prompt, professional and addressed the problem.  He could tell right away that the culprit was a defective capacitor.

Con: It cost $430 for ten minutes of service for a really cheap part.

The capacitor costs less than $20.  It took the technician all of 10 minutes to replace the capacitor.  He was at the house for less than an hour and he was excessively chatty giving unsolicited advice and droning on and on--making it seem as though the service being provided was far more involved, complicated and time-consuming.  But it doesn't take a genius to notice that he spent ten minutes fixin' and the rest of the time chattin'.

Normally, I would have passed when he quoted me such an astronomical price but a person in need of AC is a desperate person indeed!  I was in dire need for respite from the heat.  And the technician and the HVAC companies know it.  I could've ordered a capacitor and replaced it myself but it would have taken a few days for the part to arrive especially with COVID.  So I reluctantly paid, but I definitely felt price-gouged.  The last time we had the same issue with having to replace the capacitor, it cost roughly a third of what this place charged us.  I should have saved our prior HVAC guy's number.

I wonder if this place would have charged me less if the weather wasn't so hot.
If you call this place, expect to overpay.

I had a complicated situation with my home AC, where I had water leak into my ceiling.    William, the technician, did outstanding job in diagnosing the situation and identifying the cause.    Both (primary and secondary) water drain pipes we clogged and the unit on the attic was not properly aligned.    Will did a great job in explaining what is going on and his thought process on finding the issue.   The problem is now solved and no more leaks into my house.

My condo unit has a specific HVAC system that not all companies know how to service. One of my neighbors had used Just Right Services in the past and recommended them because they employ HVAC specialists and plumbers so you don't have to call out more than one company out to address your problem. I requested an appointment via their website and got a phone call. I had to call Jared back because I was at work when he called. He patiently listened to my heating woes and brief history on how it all started. He knew my specific system type from the description I gave. He said he could have someone out the same day but I requested an appointment the following Monday morning due to scheduling. The diagnostic fee was $95 to go towards repair, if we decided to move forward.

My husband met with Leo and gave him the lowdown while I was at work. Leo figured out the issue and said a few parts needed to be replaced. Thanks to hard water which is prevalent, we had some calcified pipes. Thankfully, we didn't have to replace the entire system. My husband wanted to discuss it with me first before moving forward. I got an estimate in my email with the details on what needed to be replaced. It was reasonable and I was ready to move forward. Mind you, we have been without heat since the start of winter and powered through with small space heaters and wearing layers. I called JRS and they had Leo call me back to discuss what was needed. He gave me a thorough explanation and let me know I could choose to do 1 or 2 of the 3 items that needed replacing but I went ahead to schedule an appointment to get all 3 items replaced. We scheduled for the following day for the same time period. However, due to a rainy day delay, JRS had to reschedule our appointment.

The day of the appointment arrived and two technicians showed up to deal with our issue. The parts were replaced and our system was up and running. Our heater is now heating the house and I'm happy with JRS and their service. Thanks JRS for getting our heat back up! I recommend you call JRS if you have a plumbing or HVAC issue.

When our HVAC unit started leaking water our normal go to company that we have used in the past was booked out for two and a half weeks with this heat wave and so we tried calling around and got the same message.  However with Just Right Services, Drew at least said he would squeeze us in with standby when he was able to finish with other jobs and true to his word we were able to be seen within 48hrs and have our AC repaired in less than 30 minutes!  He unclogged our AC pipe drain and the leak was cleared.  He was fast, efficient, and reasonable in his charges.  What more can you ask for!

These guys are absolutely the best. We had a gas guy come and tell us our AC unit was busted so we called these guys in. They came first thing in the morning and were honest and upfront about how the noises the machine was making was normal. They didn't try to sell us anything and even declined payment when we offered. Highly recommended! My AC broke and they were able to quickly schedule an appointment. Nick, the service tech called 20 mins before arriving at the scheduled time, was able to diagnose the two problems my AC had. He resolved the first one, but had to order a replacement part for the second issue.

Within minutes of wrapping up, Just Right Services called to let me know the part was ordered and they were able to schedule the second service appointment the same week. Nick arrived on time again and was able to get it installed and completed within 30 minutes.

I hired Just Right to come out to perform a preventative maintenance on my old and neglected HVAC system (1995). Antonio came, was prompt and very polite. I was fully expecting any HVAC service provider to tell me I needed to replace the entire system at a very high cost.

I was really really happy when Antonio was totally honest and said I didn't need to replace the system- just perform a couple of maintenance things. He was honest about what was pressing and what I could wait on. He explained things well and gave me time to look up the issue on-line to learn more about it.  It's refreshing to feel like you aren't just a big dollar bill to a contractor.

The system was older and neglected, and it took extra time to give it the attention it needed to stay it in working order- but Antonio kept at it, was thorough, and did not try to rush even though he likely had other jobs to get to. Also, he was clean, professional, put covers on his shoes and wore a mask even though it was super hot since the AC was of course off the whole time.

I would highly recommend this place and specifically Antonio.

Wow! Have to say I'm glad to have found this company.  Needed a finally change out our system as it's the original so worked with just right to get this done. Reasonable prices and kept me in the loop of everything. I worked mainly with Will and he was very informative. We had some hiccups with old mold and moisture but they worked through it and installed everything as soon as possible.

They also do plumbing so I will definitely be using them as the Hoa's plumbing company couldn't even find out what was going on so I had to get a 2nd opinion.

I'll be using this company again as well as starting a maintenance service on these units with them to service them since they're always on nowadays. Thanks covid!!!!

Toaster crumbs were swept into the sink with the garbage disposal causing it to clog.  When I attempted to unstick the disposal, water began leaking from two different pipe connections.  I called Just Right Services and got an appointment for the next day.  Mitchell Haynes messaged me that he was on the way.  When he arrived, I explained the situation to him and left it in his hands.  He fixed the problem connections and explained what he was doing every step of the way.  Less than an hour later, my kitchen sink is working.  Thanks, Mitchell and Just Right Services.  You will be my first call the next time I have a plumbing issue.

We had Drew come over when our garbage disposal broke, and we loved him and his service so much, we had to him come over to fix our air conditioning and do some plumbing work as well.  He is super flexible with making appointments and is always very easy to reach.  We keep his number on speed dial for any future home ownership issues.  Bonus - he's very local to my Wagon Wheel residence so that is always great.  5 Stars! (Found him through Yelp - good ol' Yelp came through again!) :)

What a great company!
They just finished a re pipe on our home. They were on time, price was fair and cleaned after.
The plumbers that came and did the job were clean, respectful and knowledgeable. They came out on a Saturday and got to work.

If you're looking for an honest repairman/plumber, look no further.

This morning on Thanksgiving, we suffered a broken valve in the bathroom that forced us to turn off all running water in the house. As hosts, this wasn't going to work, but all we had to do was replace the broken valve.

The only problem was that all hardware stores were closed. We even tried Walmart with no luck.

We called a few plumbers that quoted between $250-$500 to come out at some point in the day to replace the part. Luckily we came across Drew's number next. He said he wouldn't be able to come out as he was with his family but we could come get the part from him. I'm sure this is not something he wants to offer to strangers, but as he said, Hey, it's Thanksgiving.

When we arrived he had the part and a tool ready for us to take, and even tried to let us take them without paying him a dime. We paid him barely the equivalent of what the parts would retail for, exchanged pleasantries and were on our way.

That there are people like Drew still out there offering honest services makes me feel better about the world. Do us all a favor and support this business.

They let us borrow portable units while we waited for our permit and system to come in. The third party inspector came today and had high praise for their work. The system is SO QUIET!

Really great business. I had a water heater emergency and was told by my home warranty company that the best they could do was get someone out 3 days later. I told them where to go, cancelled my contract, and found Just Right. Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. They were able to get someone out literally 2hrs later, fix the problem, and get my house back up and running. They were super communicative along the way, and Nick was just awesome as well. He gave me some advice for future updates and spent the time to educate me on many other aspects of my home's plumbing systems. Hopefully I don't need to but will definitely do business with them again for future issues or projects.

I selected this company to address a water leak based on the hundreds of 5-star reviews in Yelp as well as the associated positive comments. This initial criteria for selection proved to be true as the technician Marsid arrived timely, dressed professionally, and most importantly repaired the leak, being patient to explain the situation and his assessment of the repair as his diagnosis progressed.  Marsid is an asset to the company and a great technician. Also, on a a safety note, the technician always wore a mask, a necessity these days.

Much to my surprise the owner of the company, Drew Haynes, was talking to the technician and requested to speak directly to me. After introducing himself, I realized the owner was also the same individual who installed an entire AC and heater unit along with all new duct work......that install was accomplished in circa 2009 and the unit is working great to this day!  I was surprised and happy the owner recognized my name as I now have a company to call for all my AC / heating / and plumbing needs in the future. Drew's professionalism and technical savvy was something I recalled in reference to my AC install many years ago, and I'm glad we reconnected as I now have a company I know I can trust for any future needs!

In the end, they did a good job, but it wound up costing me about three times the initial estimate.  The initial job was to replace the flexible hose for our kitchen faucet because it was leaking at the end by the sprayer, and the estimate for that was x dollars plus the part (which I provided).  

During the install, the part under the sink where the hose connects was observed to be broken so that it now also leaked.  There had previously been no observed leak at that end of the hose, i.e. no water under the sink, and I had checked prior to the visit while getting the area ready for them to access the connections.

Since the now-broken part was integrated into the faucet and was not replaceable, I now needed to replace the whole faucet (under warranty), but the price  to replace a faucet was three times the price to replace just the hose, which makes sense because there's a lot more work involved.

It could just be that the part under the sink doesn't like to be messed with and breaks easily when handled.  I have no way of knowing, but that's what happened and it tripled my bill.  Their guy ultimately did a good job installing the new faucet.

I called yesterday and asked how much it would cost for a pressure test on a gas line going to our pool heater. I explicitly stated that this was the reason for my call and the service needed. We had already had a licensed pool tech out and he advised this test. I asked how much the pressure test would cost and the lady on the phone said $89. Great, scheduled someone to come out today. Even confirmed it was $89 for the pressure test before ending the call. Fast forward to today and the tech came out. He didn't even have the equipment to do a pressure test and said the $89 was just for him to come out and that he could do a soap/bubble test for that amount. Obviously, not what I explicitly asked for when I called in. The tech got the dispatcher on the phone and she argued with me about our prior day's conversation. Both said they didn't even know how much it would cost to do a pressure test but that it would be a lot more. Clearly, I feel a bait and switch here with a misrepresentation on the company's side of things. I already had a pro come out and diagnose the situation and I knew exactly what I needed done. My warning to future customers would be to not take the dispatcher's word for pricing or knowledge on the situation.

Called for AC services since my AC was not blowing cold air. Schedule was for the next day between 4pm-6pm. On the day of Nick who was the technician came out earlier than schedule which was awesome and did a check. But so happens when he was there the AC started to worked again. He checked the unit anyways and even if told me he couldn't find anything wrong but the unit being old and will eventually needing to be replaced. He did not offer to sell me any gimmick nor trying to sell me anything which was very honest. He recommend me using my unit until it died or stop working or when i feel like i want to change out. Very honest company with integrity and not just there to make money. In fact he didn't even charge me anything cuz he said he didn't do anything although he made the trip out. I so recommend this company just for their ways of doing the job for the customer and not for the profit.

We've worked with Drew on a number of plumbing jobs at our home since November 2015 -- the most recent one, a week ago. In that time, Drew has never arrived to our house on time, has installed the shower cartridge upside down causing me to scald myself with hot water I thought was going to come out cold and caused me to be late to work due to his late arrivals. Most recently he was set to come over and replace the outside hook up for the hose. He knew he had to arrive to turn off the water and drain the house by 8AM as I had to leave by 8:30. Not only did he not call to say he was running late, and not only did he not arrive until 12 noon (the gate attendant records the time), he made a fix (that was, albeit, necessary) to the hook up, but neglected to call and ask us if we were ok with it and that it would cost another $100. It's not the money, it's the principal.

We will not be using his services again. Time is money and Drew has no respect for our time.

I highly recommend Drew.  Our AC unit was not working and I had another service company tell me that I needed to buy a new compressor and capacitor and that we should consider buying a new unit.  We had Drew come and give us a second opinion and he was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem on the spot for considerably less than a new compressor or AC unit.  Drew gave us recommendations for prolonging the life of our AC unit.  I was very impressed with his honest and straight forward service.

Robert May provided exceptional services and I was very happy I chose this company.  He was professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable in basically almost everything to do with home repair in addition to plumbing, heat & AC. My condo/townhome was a bit challenging in how it was built/setup but he was determined to provide quality work, and he did so.  He installed a new garbage disposal and got my AC refreshed and performing better. He also gave me a lot of great advice on how to use my thermostat efficiently, best brands to invest in and other tips that were really helpful. Just got a new AC/heat pump system installed by JRS. Took a bit of time to finalize what was actually needed due to the tech I was working with going on a sabbatical - but the team came together to help finalize my estimate.

Had a estimate done by Service Champions first, who quoted me a ridiculous $25k. They claimed I needed new insulation, all new ducts, etc.

JHS came in as a 2nd opinion and told me all my ducts and insulation were actually sufficient - I just needed a new compressor and recommended upgrading to a heat pump vs gas furnace.

All in all, couldn't be happier. They went above and beyond to make sure my lower level was warmer and took a genuine interest in making sure we were happy.

Highly recommend them! And the owner, Drew, was awesome. Also ask for Chris as your installer. Amazing guys!

Issue with A\C or furnace not operating properly. One company thought the thermostat was functioning improperly due to furnace.

Jarrod immediately responded to inquiry in the evening and scheduled Nick to come the following day between 12-2pm which he kept me apprised of the arrival time.  Checked the system and determined the thermostat was the issue. Promptly replaced,  showed me how to operate the system. Nick was terrific and the price is reasonable. Strongly recommend this company!

I'm so bummed to feel compelled to write this review, but after assessing our overall poor experience, we felt like it was appropriate. As a pro, the staff members were extremely kind and respectful from start to finish. However, there was a ton of miscommunication throughout and in hindsight, they should not have agreed to do this scope of work, nor would we have agreed if we knew it would be incomplete. We initially reached out in early June to have two exhaust fans (that didn't previously have them) installed in our bathrooms. The staff was confident to complete the job and gave us absolute reassurance. However, there were setbacks, such as not allotting enough hours in their staff schedules to get the job done and having to reschedule. Their texting and email reminders were a headache because the information was wrong multiple times and I had to keep calling their representative to re-confirm if they were going to arrive and/or not arrive. We kept finding out about re-scheduling the 'day of' in which we were expecting work to be completed, so it was super frustrating. Then work was being done by different people at different times. The bathroom vents were installed, then several days later dry wallers came (even though we were informed, they were not going to come...), then we had to wait again several days later since their staff member who runs electrical was out sick (which was understandable). Finally, when the staff member arrived, they assessed the bathroom vents and realized that we needed to hire a licensed electrician to properly complete the job. After he left, my husband and I were scratching our heads wondering why weren't informed in the beginning that...a. he wasn't a licensed electrician? and b. he wasn't capable of finishing the scope of work. We trusted him and the staff since the beginning and were trying to be patient with the process because we thought this job would be completed properly, but now we must find a licensed electrician to finish incomplete work and still can't use the vents. It doesn't make logical sense why the staff would agree to do this job if it was going to be incomplete. I'm aware they didn't charge for the electrical work that was done, but I'm also glad about it since it wasn't completed anyway. We would not have agreed to it because it's burdensome and has been over a month already. I hope this business doesn't agree to install bathroom vents if anyone inquires because they're only experienced to do partial work and not the full scope of work. (e.g. full electrical needs (installing switches))

I don't like leave negative reviews, and I'll start with he was nice and I wish him the best of luck... But they overcharged for just a rooter and the toilet wasn't fixed.  He nicely explained there'd be additional charges to take the toilet off and another visit if a rooter didn't fix it.  It didn't fix it.  At all.  An hour later, still clogged.  No, we didn't call them back because we were already in for over $248 for just a snake job.  What would pulling the toilet off cost?  Pass.

I was bummed because the guy was nice and friendly.

We used a plumber we'd used in the past and charged the same to pull off the toilet and fix the problem (FYI - for Just Right, it was a root coming up through the foundation and wrapping itself the seal).  He was booked out so that's why we tried Just Right.  We're seniors and really don't have extra money to flush down the drain.  That $248 is somewhere in the sewer system.  If you hire these guys make sure they don't leave without fixing the problem for the quote and not add on charges.  I'd understand if they had to dig up the pipes, but my regular guy did the entire job in 1/2 hour. Sheesh.

During this incredible heat wave our air-conditioning has been out and it was 98 degrees in our house

I recently hired Just Right Services to diagnose an issue with my HVAC fan. This review is not about that specific work, but about my interactions with the company in resolving some concerns after the fact.

I am just blown away by the level of customer service I received from Just Right! I reached out to the company by email to report a problem with my service call and ask for a specific remediation. Almost immediately, I got a call directly from the owner, Drew. Not only did he agree to my specific request, but he answered all of my questions and went out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer. I subsequently received a second call from Jared, walking me through exactly how they were planning to address my concerns. Just Right went so far above and beyond anything I have experienced from a service provider before. Certainly above anything I expected! I can't say enough good things about this interaction.

I ended up going through my home warranty company for this specific repair (they don't let me choose the vendor), but I am absolutely planning to call Just Right the next time I am in the market for plumbing or HVAC services!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Just Right Services and all of their crew!  Drew and Nick came out when we knew we needed to do some plumbing work, we had to decide on just fixing the one leak or re-piping.  When working on which method and company to use, I asked Drew many questions.  Even when I shared that we might use another system, but I wanted to gather as much information as possible, Drew was polite, professional and understanding.  He knew my husband and I had to be in agreement on the decision.  We are both very happy to say that we went with Just Right and we will use them for anything we need in the future.  We have neighbors who use them and Just Right has been referred to some friends by others.  We don't think there is a more honest and fair heating/air/plumbing company out there!!

Nick arrived before his scheduled time, which is a rarity.  He was personable and knowledgeable and gave me a ton of tips to keep my HVAC (and this particular system) running efficiently in the future.  Whole maintenance call took less than an hour.

Although Just Right Services did not install my HVAC (3 years old), Nick did not disparage the installation from the previous contractor--his honesty carried weight because it seems many contractors use this tactic to up-sell services or products during a routine maintenance calls.  They've got a customer for life.  Thank you.

Found these guys on Yelp. I can't say enough about Drew and Just Right Services for A/C and plumbing. Drew was out as soon as we needed him and sorted out A/C problem in no time. it started to be cold at home and I found the heating not working. I called another two plumbing companies and they sent technicians. one said I need to replace a motor which costs $1500. I thought too high. Another technician from second company checked and said I need to replace a few parts at around $1400. I was ok with it but he never showed up again due to holiday season. so today I called Just Right and the technician came in 1 hour to my home and fixed within half an hour without changing any parts or motors at 1/5 of costs of another two companies.  now I could enjoy the rest of my holiday in my warm home.  Highly  appreciate your efficient and cost effective work.

Our A/C went out and I called Just Right services not ever using them before. I immediately could tell from the phone being answered within 2 rings I did the right thing. Unfortunately they couldn't come out the same day (I called at 2pm on a hot day) but they made it out the next day at noon. The repair guy, Robert was VERY knowledgeable and was able to fix my problem very quickly. I also told him I was worried my a/c was getting old but he reassured me I'm good and long as I do regular maintenance. He said he could do it or I could do it. He even showed me what to do! He also walked me through what to look for on a system that might need service soon and also told me what to do on a annual, bi-annual and then even every three months to keep the system effective. These guys are simply the best.  To start off, they answer the phone.   Give you a time and date when they can come out. Low and  behold they show up when scheduled.  We had a special AC unit in our rental condo that gave them some fits.  JRS suggested it was time to replace.  They did the install and ran into a few glitches. There was never a time that Drew didn't say, don't worry about it, I'll take care of it.  They were totally professional and on time.   Made sure we were happy.  What else do you need to say.  That's what the customer is looking for.  Contractors to do what they say they're going To do.  JRS does this hands down.

Some companies have good customer service until they get your business. Not this one, they are prompt, very responsive and fair. I had an old heater which was giving loud noises. Found Just Right Services on Yelp... Mitch arrived promptly, assessed the problem and gave me a couple of options. It took me a week with me asking a lot of questions before I finally decided to replace the heater instead of repairing it since it was 28 years old. The work was done smoothly and cleanly and Mitch kept great communication as I could not be on site.
They gave me a new thermostat but it was going to leave a white patch on my faux wall, since it was a smaller size. Mitch offered to give me a white plate to cover it up so I didn't have to paint again . It would have been extra effort and expense to match the paint job to do that.
But the best part was that he didn't stop there. He came back again to match the color to the other electrical outlet plates that i have and it finally fits perfectly !
Awesome customer service ! They are all about keeping the customer happy !

I went with Just Right Services because of all the 5 star reviews and I was not disappointed.  Over the past 2 months I've had issues with two different HVAC units, and each time Nick and his team have been amazing to deal with.  They are honest, friendly, on-time and know their stuff.  Their prices are fair (not the cheapest, but not the most expensive) but their experience and expertise is worth it.  Thanks guys!  Honorable mention goes to Jared on the phones...he is always very responsive and calls back when he says he will!

I had a problem installing an ecobee thermostat. I called several other AC companies but they were all booked for the next two weeks. I called and spoke to Drew and explained my problem. He explained what had probably gone wrong and that I had probably blown out a fuse in the furnace. I asked him when he could come out and he said that he was busy but if I was not in a hurry and could wait he would be out that night. I went to work and he called and said he could not make the 6 pm appointment but if I still wanted him to come he would. Showed up at 7 fixed the problem and installed ecobee now that's service

If anyone in the Orange County area is looking for amazing service, top of the line work and honest care, look no further! You've found it in Just Right Services. My family and I currently live in a condo and were having some drainage issues so Jeff was sent out to us to fix the issue. He was patient, kind and taught my husband and I how to unclog our sink (as first time homeowners we found ourselves clueless!). He didn't even charge us for the sink because it was an easy fix and went to work on our tub. The work only took about an hour and our clogs were behind us! They charged us a super affordable rate and I bought the deal on Yelp.

A few days later, the super old pipes in our building busted in multiple places and started leaking heavily into our neighbors bedroom! With holiday season upon us and a brand new family of our own (twin babies!), I started seeing visions of no toys or shoes from Santa let alone presents for friends and family as I braced myself for the financial hit. Drew came to our rescue immediately and not only fixed the leaks, he put us and our neighbors in touch with a water damage restoration guy who told us how to get our homes fixed and back to normal in no time! And our HOA was going to take care of the costs. I was speechless and Drew was incredible! He was able to get right down to business, explain the situation succinctly and he's a very nice guy who knows exactly what he's doing. I had to hug him before he left our place to say thank you because I was thankful to tears for our Christmas miracle. I even took out a couple chocolate bars from our freezer for him to munch on after the job. Amazing!!!!

I'm referring all of our friends and family from now on to Just Right Services because everyone needs a great plumber and good people to call in a time of need. :)

This company was amazing in every way. We had a slab leak a week before Christmas. I filled out web forms with several different 5-star plumbing businesses on a Sunday but Just Right Services was the first to call me Monday morning. Mike came over and diagnosed the problem the same day and even though I could tell they were very busy, he made room in his schedule to come back the following day and completely fix the problem because he knew we were leaving town the day after. He was fast, professional, honest and friendly. The whole process could have been a nightmare (Mike said it was one of the most difficult ones he's fixed - and he also said he fixes them weekly) but Just Right Services made it easy. They are competitively priced. From the initial customer service to the quality of the work completed, I would highly recommend this business and will use them in the future.

Update June 2018:  my ancient AC finally died, and Just Right Services just installed a complete new system in my house. Drew made a great recommendation with the variable speed system, it's super quiet and keeps my house comfortable 24/7. We are very impressed. The guys were all always on time (or even early!), knew their stuff, kept the house clean, answered all questions and were always pleasant to talk to. We continue to be absolutely pleased with everyone at Just Right Services. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Despite their company name Just Right Service, their service wasn't right. They are overpriced. My kitchen sink clogged and water was backing up. Marsid snaked the pipe and charged us $$253.65 where I usually pay $100-$150. Not to mention that he wasn't wearing a mask or booties. I have this great Plummer I use ( George from HH plumbing) but unfortunately, he is booked till the 17th so I had to find someone who is available Right away. I should have known better. I will never use this company again.

I made an appointment online for an A/C repair as a previous customer. I immediately received a text and email confirmation for my appointment which I also confirmed. On the day of my appointment I received another email reminding me of my appt and that I would be notified closer to my appt window which was 4-6pm. I left work early and waited for 2 hours. Needless to say, no one called or showed up. When I called the next day, I was told that the online appt system was wrong and because of the current heat wave I couldn't expect to get an  appointment for at least 2 weeks. I understand that these things happen but there was no apology for the error or really any consideration for my wasted time. If you value your time you may want to look elsewhere for HVAC service.

Life changing!!! I called for help with odors in our home. We just moved in and there were chemical smells that gave me a headache and made us miserable to be at home.

Nicholas was the angel that was sent to our home to help diagnose the problem. He recommended an APCO system. I had never heard of this type of device before, but he was excellent at explaining that it would be installed in the HVAC system to scrub the air thought the home. He installed it and I must say -life changing.

The air in my home is clean and crisp. My headaches are gone, my mood and energy levels have improved, guests come over and say the house feels so clean.

This APCO system is truly a game changer. It also gets rid of microorganisms in the air, and I have been liberated from all my little air purifiers that I have usually have all throughout the home.

I highly recommend this company and this product!!!

We have used Just Right Services for various small works in the past and have always been happy with their services. After having a major leak and the house being over thirty years old, we decided to have our house re-piped. We got quotes lower and higher than theirs but ultimately decided to go with JRS, considering their history with us. After a couple of long hard working days by their crews, the job was done. Had an urgent need to replace a condenser that had a catastrophic failure.  By the time I was aware of the situation it was already 7 pm.  The gentleman (Drew) that I spoke with was very helpful and although we could not secure a condenser at that hour he was willing to come out with fan blades to make an attempt to find a temporary fix.  He was polite, professional, accommodating and very appreciative of my situation.  I absolutely intend to call on this company for future work!

I'm not sure of the quality of their work.  I called for a diagnostic of my a/c in my home and they were not taking appointments for this next week and it would be sometime the following week before they could come do the work. That's a long time to wait for a service call. Then, the owner sent me a message harassing me for writing about my experience in not being able to get an appointment for service for 2 weeks.  I had already sent a message to another company, Complete Comfort, and Mike got back to me right away, quickly set up an appointment at my convenience, and is going to charge $98 to service the system.

Robert was absolutely AMAZING! Our home warranty sent him over after 2 other plumbers (from 2 other companies) they sent were unable to fix the issue. Robert was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed up with a smile, and made an otherwise dreadful process for us easy and even enjoyable. He walked us through exactly what he was doing throughout the entire process, which as new homeowners we definitely appreciated. My sister referred me to Just Right Services who she called to do some maintenance at her house in Mission Viejo.  The owner Drew is awesome.  I needed a new AC and heat pump.  He explained everything about how different levels of air conditioners work and how some are more efficient than others.  In the end, my unit could only use one kind of air conditioner due to the heat pump I needed but it was very educational.

The install was delayed a little due to the wrong heat pump being delivered but his company sorted it all out as quickly as possible.  Mitch did the installation for me without any issues.  There was a hole left behind but Drew came out to patch it up.

Whenever I had a question or problem, Drew responded right away to my email.  I have called emailed him several times since the install.  He gladly came out to check that the system is in perfect working condition himself or sent Mitch to check it out.   In fact, Drew came out to check on my system personally when I was concerned the heater was not working well in January.

More recently, I had mold on my wall and was concerned of a leak in my refrigerant line and Mitch came to check for any issues.  He checked everything and explained all that he found out from running tests and checking in my attic.  Drew also came out when all the work done to make sure that all was well.

I have bothered him for what turned out to be trivial problems I could have solved myself but he graciously helps me out every time.

This is a company I am glad I chose for my AC and would choose them again if I need a new AC in the future.

I give them 10 stars! SO HAPPY - even though plumbing problems can be a royal pain!  I had pinhole leaks.  So I went plumber hunting.

Here's what I'd like from a plumber: Fast response, fair price, punctual, honest, great work that leaves me worry-free and, being a girl, comfortable to have this first-time stranger in my home.

Here's what I got: Fast response time, excellent price, punctual and kept me posted, very honest, excellent worry-free work, AS WELL AS, friendly, fast and focused work, and such a good soul!

I can't say enough about Drew - great person and great work.  He's friendly, courteous, yet he stayed very focused on the job and got it done quickly.  This was my first time using Just Right and I'm so grateful we have our go-to plumber.  My husband came home while Drew was still working on our plumbing, so he got to meet Drew as well.  Even my husband says everything was great about Drew - such a professional and personable man.  And they do HVAC as well?! Drew told me that's 'Mitch' who does that - I read great reviews about Mitch too. AWESOME!  Got our go-to guys for that as well now.  I highly recommend Drew for your plumbing and I highly doubt you'll be disappointed!  Just fantastic.  No other way to put it!

After a miserable experience with another company, I found Drew and Just Right Services through all of the positive reviews on Yelp and they did an outstanding job. He gave us every option to consider and we ended up replacing our AC, Heater and Condenser at the same time.  The price he gave us for all three units installed (plus thermostat) was lower than the previous company wanted for just the new AC they were pushing us to buy and install.  Long story short, we were thrilled with their honesty and all of the work they did. They even gave us a credit for the new thermostat they planned on giving us so we could buy the Nest.  

From here on out, I will definitely be calling Just Right Services for any Heating or Air Conditioning needs.

Had to share. I put off getting the shower handle fixed. I called today and received a call back immediately. They were able to come same day and just left my house. All it needed was to be tightened with the right allen wrench. Nick refused to take payment since it was such a simple repair. It is so incredible to work with a company you can trust! My AC turned into a Hawai'ian shaved ice ball (see photos) and I needed help! I called a few places, but these guys were the real deal. I felt like I was talking to a good friend about my troubles.

After some scheduling issues, Leo showed up and we got to work. He gave me options from replacement to a low cost temporary fix to everything in between.

Fixing an AC is never cheap, but the cost was about what I expected but the service and the company sold me. They were great. Give them a shot - I hope you get the same great experience!

These guys are 5 stars for a reason.  Drew and crew always come through!!!  

I've been using their services since I bought our home here in Las Flores, originally to service the existing HVAC unit, but also bought a new one from them.   Unlike other service companies, Just Right stands behind the products they sell, and do whatever it takes to make sure you're satisfied and stay satisfied.  

We've had a few issues with the new unit , for example heat not turning on because of low air flow, only to find out our filters were overdue for a change... that's on us.  Leo has come out a few times, patiently running diagnostics and educating us on proper operation and maintenance.     Sometimes even waiving the diagnostic fee!!!   And not just Leo, all of the techs are experienced and have tremendous expertise.   James run traffic control, great attitude and always helpful when scheduling appointments.  

I can't say enough about Just Right, I've never experienced this level of customer service in my life.   Don't waste your time and money with anyone else!!

This all started back in September when my AC unit started draining onto my patio.  A technician from the company came out and determined the AC drain line was clogged.  In the process of clearing the drain, he caused massive amount of gunk to spew out of my bathroom sink and all over the bathroom bc he didn't seal the valve.  He did clean up the mess and give me a minor discount.  On his way out, he manages to leave a full size 8 foot ladder in my closet.  I had to call the company and no one was aware the ladder was missing.

After seeing all kinds of things spew out of my bathroom sink, my sink was now super slow to drain, like it took days to drain completely.  My sink was slow to drain previously but would do so in a minute or two.  Of course I associated the two events bc they happened one after another.  After some back and forth with the company reps, no one could articulate to me why the two events were not related.  They finally decide to send someone out.  This guy came out charging, deflecting blame immediately but again, did not have the articulation skills to explain to me why these events were unrelated.  After he opened up the pipes, it was clear to me that in the process of clearing the AC drain line, it pushed the gunk passed bend in the pipe to the flat section, basically only allowing water to seep thru.  At this point, I was done! I just paid the guy so that I wouldn't have to deal with another appointment and missed worked hours.  My feedback for that technician was that he didn't seemed able to handle the snake very well, as demonstrated by the dent he left on my bathroom wall.

I was going to let it all go and just send only good energy out to the world when I got a bill for 150 from my HOA this week.  I called the owner to see if he was willing to settle it but he was so adamant that it was due to illegal piping in the walls of my condo HOA in Irvine.  At this point, I have very little choice to settle the bill on my own, as interest will start to accrue and it associated with my unit.

Because I fairly paid for my services, I thought the least I could do is leave an honest review

1) under qualified/inattentive/not articulate employees
2) overpriced
3) never received a single email receipt for the work, even though both technicians said they would send me an email

We recently came home after being gone for the weekend and realized that a water pipe had burst in our wall/ceiling.  We called Drew at Just Right Services and he immediately came over and fixed our leak.  Within a short period of time, he was able to detect the area in the ceiling where the pipe was leaking, and replace the pipe. We had also used him prior to that for a plumbing problem and he was excellent! He is very professional and does a great job!  I would highly recommend him.

After reading a number of reviews for Just Right Services, I called and talked with Jared who was as friendly, personable and helpful as everyone said in their reviews. The heater had quit working in my rental condo. Since I don't live nearby, I asked Jared to contact my tenant to arrange for a convenient appointment time. He did, called me back and he told me Nick would be in touch with me once he'd diagnosed the problem. Nick called when he was on his way to my condo and then we talked several times while he was there. He fixed the heater. I also asked him to service it along with the AC unit, both being 29+ years old. He recommended replacing both and provided written estimates within 2 hours! Nick also was personable, friendly, and professional. I felt so comfortable having Just Right Services take care of my heater problem that I'm going to have them replace my HVAC unit. I'll write another review once that's complete!

I am grateful to have found my forever plumber.  Just Right Services is my go to plumber now.  I needed a plumber fast for a leak in a ceiling of a rental unit we own. Drew with Just Right Services, came fast and worked in a thoroughly professional manner.  He found the leak, which was small and difficult to see, and repaired it perfectly.  The affected pipe actually belonged to the unit above our unit.  He courteously and professionally was able to explain to the other owner that the pipe belonged to her.  This was the second time I have utilized the services of Just Right.  They also came to replace and hook up a water heater after a dishonest plumber tried to claim repairs that were unwarranted.  You can trust Just Right Services!

They have been professional and have done their work in a tiny attic space, including balancing air flow and seeing which register needed replacing and which needed to be turned around for maximum efficiency.

It's rare to see someone that will take an extra effort to thoroughly figure out the issue during a free consultation. Out of 4 different companies that came out, Drew was the only one that took the time to pump the water out and investigated the problem until figuring out exactly what was going on with the service pipe water leak. This review is particularly for my AMAZING technician Leonardo Sanchez. He came out earlier than promised and went above and beyond to take the time to explain and help me understand what my options are regarding either repair or replacement. I was confused several times and each time he explained it to me and was so patient with me and made sure I understood what it was he was trying to explain to me. His attitude was incredible. It is important to note that I did not feel any pressure to decide one way or the other. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about all of the equipment that we have in our condo.
But what I REALLY appreciate was the sincerity and honesty that this technician presented while at my residence. This company is lucky to have technicians like Leonardo. Thank you so much Leo! -John C.

Needed a new packaged unit HVAC for a rental property.  I was fortunately to get the creme de la creme of the team.  Drew (owner) and Nick came out to install the new heat pump unit.  

Journey started with a quote and Nicked walked me through the process.  The quote was not the lowest (not the most expensive either), but after initial assessment/consultation from Nick, I elected to go with Just Right Services (JRS) because they didn't seem to cut corners.  The unit they used, American Standard, rated as one of the best and walked through each part of the install.  Really great to learn from the walk through and installation process.  Thoroughly cleaned the job site (standard), but the approach really tells me they value the customer.  

JRS will be on the speed dial for future help with my rentals and personal property.

I called this company because of this misleading reviews. 2 huge problems. 1-A guy came to repair and replace my kitchen fauset! I WAS TOLD TO GO BUY YOUR FAVORITE FAUCET AND I did . This job took him 6 month to do it Right. he had to come back over and over to find out what was the mess he created and he couldn't figure it out till I asked a friend and they found that he didnt seal the area at all! He came over few times and blames other pieces in my kitchen. He said we need to cut the whole plumbing and it will cost $900 !!!!!! ( so so so frustrating! The water was pouring down and The mold was almost there. Finally Drew after giving me hard time and with lots of attitude came to check his guys mess! And he wanted to charge me again to fix it.
On top of that the guy ( worker) asked me to replace the dishwasher air gap WHICH HAD NOOOOO REASON TO DO IT! He created a fear and the urge of changing it! He charged me $350 for just that part.
I had to remodel my kitchen and I was told by the plumbers that there was ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO TOUCH THAT ! They take advantage of you if you are a woman and you dont know anything!

I wish I could share my experience with everyone who wants to do business with them!

Two thumbs way up to Drew and Just Right Services.  Our heat stopped working during a cold spell, and he came the same day we called him.  He arrived at the earlier end of the two hour window he provided us, and was immediately professional and cordial.  He fixed our heating issues, and he could've easily charged us for unneeded repairs, but he didn't.  Honest, reliable, and fair.  We will call Drew if we need future help with heating, air conditioning, or plumbing, and we recommend him without hesitation.

Just had the best plumbing experience (that's a weird statement, I know.) from this company. I got lucky and they were able to come out right away. Mike was great and quickly diagnosed the problem we were having and actually fixed it vs putting a bandaid on it as previous plumbing services had. It was quick, painless, and completely reasonable priced!

We discovered wet carpet in our downstairs guest room on a Friday afternoon at 2:30. A repairman arrived in an hour, found the pinhole leak in a pipe in the wall and repaired it. With the exception of drying our carpet, by 5:30, we're put back together with no more leak. The service, as always, was prompt, courteous and very reasonably priced.  Mike is awesome. Second time for him to help us with a leak.

Drew was simply amazing.  He came in and discovered the problem with my heater in approximately 5 minutes.  He was able to clearly evaluate what was wrong with the heater and gave us a detailed explanation of what needed to be fixed.  We have a hyrdonic heating system which uses a fan and water coil to produce heat and not a lot of technicians are familiar with how to fix these types of machines.  Turns out you need to find someone who is a certified technician.  Drew came back a few days later and in probably about 30 minutes later completely fixed the heater.  He also noticed that the door handle to the bathroom door was a bit wobbly and fixed that free of charge as an added service.  He was consistently polite, professional, and very friendly.  I highly recommend him for any HVAC issue.  He has been in the industry for 20+ years and it clearly shows.  He also isn't there to rip you off and gives you very competitive and fair pricing as i found out when i called other vendors to receive quotes.  Drew gave the most competitive rates.

Full disclosure - though they didn't earn my business due to budgetary reasons, they did earn my respect and gratitude.  I called on a Saturday morning after my water heater started leaking.  Miranda was responsive and courteous.  She scheduled Nick to stop by to assess and provide a quote.  Nick was exceptional.  Before even discussing business, his first priority was to drain the tank to ensure no further damage was done to my home.  He then took the time to explain what was going on, what was needed and provided a quote.  He even waited with me until the tank was fully drained.  He was a class act.  THANK YOU Nick!!!!!

We had a refrigerant leak that was costing us about $440 every three months. Problem was, Lowes contracted a 1 star Yelp reviewed company, who brilliantly installed the coil box in the attic backwards, which is where everyone was guessing the leak was. The box was in a super tight corner, and we received multiple quotes, all above $2800 to cut out wood beams, pull the box and check, all with no guarantee of fixing it. Lowes wouldn't help, the contractor's completely evasive, and we were in a bad state of limbo.

Drew diagnosed the problem was indeed the coil, and pointed out that only reason no one had actually tried to fix it was cause it was a nightmare to get to, but was still possible. Drew climbed over the box in the corner in 100' heat, worked completely upside down for an hour, and installed a new coil for around 1/4th of what others were quoting, all without having to tear the attic apart. This was in the middle of the week long heat wave we just had, and I can't begin to tell you how much our family appreciates Drew's great effort.

Just Right Services went above and beyond as I converted my home from gas to electric. They talked me down when I was panicked about actually being able to fully make the switch after a mistake on my part. They took care of things completely unrelated to the work they were doing. Just amazing! I had a heat pump water heater and a heat pump that will serve as my heating and cooling installed. I'm really appreciative of all they did for me!

Unfortunately, I must give them a 1 star review for the lack of communication and follow through.

They are probably a great company to work with during their slow season but unreliable when actually needed.

I called and made an appointment 3 weeks out just to have my ac unit reviewed and given some routine maintenance. Arrival time was 10am - 2am (big arrival window but ok).

At 2:45pm I finally get a call from someone apologizing for their missed appointment. Said they understood my issue and that's not the way they do business. I understand we are in a heat wave and they let me slip through the cracks ($125 service vs $400+ repairs will always be treated worse).

Told the rep I understand they have to prioritize other emergencies but my wife and I just had our second child and only have 1 week of leave left before we both must go back to work. Rep said he will review the calendar and call me the next day to ensure I'm on the list.

No call. No list. They moved on and never reached back out. I'd rather work with a company that will be there when needed since ac units are never really something you can predict will break.

For their price and unreliability, I recommend going elsewhere.

From the time of getting a quote to the follow-ups post the job and dealing with permitting and HOAs, Just Right Services has been nothing but amazing through our process of installing a new AC unit to our condo.
Everyone from the onsite technicians to the office manager to the business owner, they collectively provided outstanding service throughout the whole process. Everyone was knowledgeable and patient when explaining step by step what to expect. Plus, they're pricing was cost friendly and competitive with other quotes.

Special shoutout to Jarrad, who was exceptionally thorough with the process and going above and beyond when permitting complications arose.

Overall, I highly recommend going with Just Right Services when dealing with AC/heater services. If we had plumbing issues, I plan to give them a call first.

After the excellent work Just Right Services did at our son's condo, we decided to hire them for our home. Once again, they did an excellent job. They replaced our old HVAC and water heater within the time frame they originally gave us and totally matched the quote Drew wrote us. They were tidy and respectful of the house and the area where they were working. We priced out 3 different contractors to replace our heating and AC unit. Best service ever. I thought my smart thermostat had gone bad when it would not turn on the A/C unit. I even bought two new thermostats as replacements. When Nick showed up, he thought my description of the problem sounded odd, so he asked to go into the attic. He discovered that a recent termite inspector had accidentally disconnected power to the A/C unit in the attic. He plugged it back in and it worked perfectly. I was ready to have him switch out both thermostats with no questions asked. I am so impressed with his honesty. I'm especially impressed with the fact that he wouldn't charge me for plugging back in the unit, even though I had acknowledged the service charge for having them come out. Very impressive. They have a new customer for life.

My first time calling Just Right Services and I wasn't disappointed. Mike was very courteous and professional. Exactly the type of person you'd want on your job. He even wore booties. I had a dripping faucet that ultimately had to be replaced. Mike gave me good suggestions on a replacement faucet and had the job completed in short order. So it's not too often that we here in Southern California get cold, but it is January, and it's been freezing! Our heater hasn't been working in about two weeks, so I searched Yelp for HVAC companies in my area.

Just Right Services was more than just right - they were extraordinary. Jared took my call, and dispatched Nick out to our house within a couple of hours.

Nick was very professional and knowledgable - he did a fantastic job, and got our system up & running again very quickly, and it was for a VERY reasonable price.

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!  Yesterday my home Air Conditioning Unit was not working correctly.  The A/C unit had ice build-up on the pipe and the air wasn't blowing strong like it normally does in my house.  What makes it worse is it's in the middle of July during a heat wave of 95+ degrees all week.  My wife works from home upstairs in the hottest room in the house.  As you can imagine we panicked.  We read online that a brand new A/C unit for a house is anywhere from $3k-$10k.  We expected the worst....  

I called around to some local A/C repair guys.  The other companies were booked-up and couldn't come see us until 2-3 days later.  I called Just Right Services in the morning after reading all the great Yelp reviews.  I left a message and they called me back in 5-minutes.  

I spoke to Mitch on the phone.  He had a full schedule already and didn't have availability until the next day.  But, after explaining my situation... he said he was going to make a few phone calls and call me right back.  A few minutes later he called me back and said he was able to fit me in the schedule and would come this afternoon to check things out.  (I was already pleased with the service so far... based off my phone conversation).

Mitch came around 4pm... and within a few minutes, he already had an idea of what the problem was.  He climbed up in the attic and performed some diagnostics on the fan motor.  He determined that the issue was a bad capacitor.  He went into his truck and had the part in stock.  A total of 30 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and had everything fixed.  Now my  home A/C unit is working!!!

My wife said Mitch was very pleasant to speak to and we're going to keep his contact info on hand for other home repair stuff like (plumbing, electrical, heating, etc.)

I highly recommend JUST RIGHT SERVICES!!!  Super friendly, great customer service, fantastic response time, very honest, and highly knowledgeable.

This is one heck of a company. After three  bids for a complete HVAC installation, I chose Just Right Services for several reasons. First they were $3000 lower than the next competitor for the exact same components. Second, they offered a more comprehensive install which included duct work in the attic, all new wall registers, sealing all possible air leaks, and all required inspections and permit fees. Finally, the company is family owned. Drew, the owner, impressed us with his years of experience and his expertise. He gave us a clear explanation of how the system works and the size and most efficient components needed for our home's square footage. Among the highest rated HVAC systems, is American Standard, the one Just Right Services recommends. By the way, American Standard manufactures Trane, another great system. Included in the cost was the American Standard, Platinum 950 thermostat, which has a 7 touch screen that lets you control the whole system from remote locations on any mobile phone, a great feature.
Drew's son, Mitch, and an a seasoned employee completed the install in a day and a half. Because of limited access to our backyard where the compressor is located, they used a crane to remove the old compressor and install the new one; no extra charge. Since we purchased the variable speed unit, I could not believe how quiet it is. You have to literally stand next to the unit to hear it operating. The new equipment uses only a small fraction of the energy the old system used.
If you're focused on the cheapest install, and you aren't concerned about inferior equipment you may want to consider another company. However, for superior  equipment, and outstanding work, you can't do better than Just Right Services. We plan to call them in the future for all our plumbing or air conditioning needs.

Liked the prompt and efficient service. Had a  black iron drain pipe in garage, draining the washer, that had corroded and could not be snaked. Mike cut out the corroded iron, replaced with PVC. Sent photos to show heavy corrosion.  Also added a clean out valve. Thankfully, all works fine now. Mike also helped out with a clogged kitchen sink (tied into clogged iron pipe), and a bathroom stopper that was disconnected, all for the one price.

I called Just Right Services and Drew answered the phone.
He is very detailed and customer-focused beyond belief, and even called other locations to find the exact match of my current thermostat.
We found out that this particular thermostat was discontinued.
So, I purchased one on Amazon.
But I couldn't set it up correctly, I called again Drew.
He once again proved that customers are his priority.
Nick was dispatched and diagnosed, and the heater is working in just a few minutes.
Nick is also very friendly and even highlighted the areas on the owner's manual where I need to read for future reference.

Amidst the CV19 pandemic, our AC decided to have some issues. Called on Friday, asked about any available appts and what they were doing to protect themselves and others while working. Had a new ac unit, furnace and registers installed by Drews crew. I shopped around for 4-5 bids and found Drew to be the best overall value. Price wasn't the lowest but was competitive. Guys showed up early and finished in the day and a half that was promised. I had an uneven surface where the condenser was placed bc of a tree that was removed. His guys went and got soil and aggregate to level it out and make a stable surface for the ac pad to sit on. Very happy with the level of service and so the quality of the work. They even installed duct work for my return and used a register that contains the filter. Now I can change the filter from my living room rather than the garage.

Drew came out last week to take a look at our AC unit (which had been moved and damaged by a different company and wasn't working at all).  He was incredibly nice and professional, showed us exactly what was wrong and what it would take / cost to fix it, and although we'd had another company come to give us a quote before he came out, we went with Just Right Services right away.  Drew repaired the AC unit and got it working again just in time for last weekend (when Mission Viejo was in the 90's!).  We had a great experience with Just Right Services and actually got their service plan for the next year because of it.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need.

This is not my first review of Just Right Services, but they are such an honest and trustworthy company that I wanted to review them again as they just came out to look at my AC.  They whole team at JRS is so professional, transparent and trustworthy.  They are also priced very competitively.  All of my interactions with JRS have reinforced a business mentality of long term, trusting relationship with their customers.  I have been using them for around 8 years I believe.  They came out today because my AC unit was blowing warm air.  They installed the compressor for this system 4 years ago.  Drew said that one of the caps on the system was a bit looser than it should be, and that this MIGHT have been the cause for the low freon (lets hope!).  Because it may have been their fault, he charged the system and did not charge me a dollar, after the system had been operating for 4 years!  This is just one example of how they run their business.  Highly recommended!!!!

There was a motor actuator from my furnace that took forever to get, but he was responsive when I kept bugging him and communication was great. I would highly recommend putting them at the top of your list for HVAC repairs.

I contacted them for a blocked drain line for an air conditioner at my home in Laguna Niguel.  This is the second time I have used their service.  They scheduled the appointment right away and sent Robert out to fix the problem.  He called me to let me know he was delayed due to traffic, but got to my home as soon as he could and kept me informed along the way.  He was friendly and very knowledgeable.  He knew exactly what the issue was and explained how it happened and how to avoid the same thing happening in the future.  It was fixed right away and I am very pleased with their service.  I highly recommend this company.

Very friendly service and the nice gentleman wore a mask, booties, etc. While he came a little later than expected, it was understandable as a heat wave hit SoCal and he was extremely busy. My AC broke - turns out it was the motor/ blower in the furnace.   They weren't the cheapest bid that I got, but they weren't outrageous.   The fifth star is because Nick mentioned a UV filtration system that changed my life.  He told that it would but I didn't believe him.  I have several animals and my house smelled like a zoo owned by a fabreze addict.  Any pet owner knows that you can spend all your time cleaning, and all your fortune on air fresheners that just cover the stench.  This filter removed the smells completely.  Seriously.  You would not know I owned pets!   Nick was efficient and friendly.  The ac was repaired the day after his assessment as was the UV air freshener.  Great company.  Honest and knowledgeable.  Thanks guys!  Freshaireuv.com.   Gets rid of smells, mold, allergens, or anything else you don't want in the air you breathe.  It sounds expensive but I have spent probably at least twice as much in a year on air fresheners.  Love it.

I've had my account for over 4 years and this will be my first review because of how amazing Drew and his team were. First, we had a problem with our house fan staying on. I called him back in December to come out and fix it, but due to my own scheduling conflicts, had to delay the service call for nearly a month. Drew was extremely understanding and had no problem cancelling the first service call. Back to the house fan, I thought it was a bad relay, and when Drew came out he diagnosed it as being the same, a bad relay. He gave us a quote and promised to have it fixed in a few hours, which he did.

While he was there, I remembered we had a clogged drain that a regular snake just couldn't take out. I mentioned it to drew and he didn't hesitate and said he would try to free it up as soon as he finished with the house fan. Drew had a plumbing snake that wasn't long enough, so he said he had to go back to his office in LAGUNA BEACH, over 30 miles round trip, to get a longer snake. He leaves and comes back a short time later to try out the longer snake, and unfortunately couldn't clear it. Here is what sold Drew as being an honest, professional serviceman, he didn't charge us for the plumbing work. Drew had to go 30 miles round trip to try to clear this blockage along with bringing an extra assistant, yet still didn't charge us.

I will recommend Drew over and over again to anyone who needs service on their home. He is amazing, professional, and has extremely competitive prices. Thank you again Drew, you earned a customer for life!

Hit with California's worst heatwave in years, my air conditioning decided to take a dump.  It was about 104 outside, and the air blowing from my vents was around 82 degrees. Paired with single pane windows, and a condo that gets sunlight from all angles from 6am-6pm, my house was HOT.

I had sent out many request on yelp to a bunch of HVAC services, and the only one to respond properly, was Just Right.  I left them a detailed message through their online scheduler (as per their request) and someone called me within 24 hours. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but he was super polite, and even called twice because he wanted to confirm I was on the schedule.  Said I was good for an appointment 4 days out (better than the i'm booked answer I was getting everywhere else) with a gentlemen named Robert (Or Richard, I'm sorry!)

Robert (or Richard) called me the day of, and said he was running early, and if it's OK to swing by a little earlier. SURE! The sooner the better.  He came in, I told him my issue, and he went straight for it.  Came back with detailed quotes on multiple plan of actions.  He was so polite and humorous, I loved the rapport I received.  This is the type of customer service that separates you from every other HVAC service (or any other service) from another.  

He went over the pricing with me for R-22, and even though I already knew, kindly went over the pricing of the refrigerant (freon) and how It was to be going up in price after the 2020 stoppage of production.  He said that if I ever wanted to upgrade, or if it broke down, to give them a call and they would work something out with me.  To top it all off, they were all electronic, so he even took pictures of the problem, and how much freon he was dispensing, and uploaded it their database/tablet for future reference on services. I love when companies take the initiative to streamline their services and point of sales.

All in all, this was a necessary service, but a service I enjoyed because not only is my house now cooling way better, but I may have found my new go-to HVAC guys.  Affordable. Professional. Great Customer service.  Thanks Just Right... you were... Just Right for the job.

Just Right Services, is just that!  The right guys to do the right job!  I had a heating issue with my heat coming on and off intermittently, and then it finally gave out.  From researching the problem, I knew it was one of three possible issues.  After a discussion with Just Right, they told me one of the three was not the problem and that it would be one of the other two issues.  I decided to call Just Right due to their local proximity to me, and that they had stellar reviews here on yelp.    

I scheduled an appointment with Just Right, and before they arrived, I figured out that the problem was the more expensive of the two remaining issues, but at least I knew what the problem was.   This morning, Mitch and Raj came out and quickly identified the problem as the one I believed it was.  Once they figured it out, and after talking about the cost, they quickly got to searching for the replacement board.  There was zero pressure to buy the replacement board or upsell of any kind.  Mitch and Raj were extremely courteous.  We decided to have the work done and get the new circuit board to have it installed.  Within hours they had located a replacement board and called to say they could come out the same day to install the replacement circuit board.  

Mitch and Raj explained the warranty for the board and that if the unit goes out after the board is replaced that they will credit the cost of the work towards a new unit if one is needed.  Again, there was no upsell involved, just providing all of the options should something happen after the new board was installed.  

While we had them out to fix the heating system, they also took a look at the A/C system and said that everything was working perfectly.  Again, no upsell, just some guys looking to do the Just Right thing.  It's not often that you find people that are honest, trustworthy, and do good work.  I know that Just Right also does plumbing and A/C, and perhaps some other things.  When I need those services, Just Right is going to be the company I call on!

Here's the deal. Our mail level AC wasn't providing cool air. I called these guys based on their yelp review scores. I scheduled, their guy Mitch called me the morning of to tell me he was on his way, he showed-up, was professional, pleasant, and polite. Mitch diagnosed the issue in under 5 minutes, showed me exactly what it was, had it fixed within 10, we shook hands, and he was on his way. In short, Mitch was great, the work was quick, the price was reasonable. I would call these guys in a second.

Drew is great at communication.

Service was fast and Drew is very friendly.
I would totally use him again.
Explained everything to me before we had work done.
I had issues with the AC unit and he fixed the leakage.
He tested out the toilet and didn't charge me when I said let's put a hold on fixing/servicing that until later.

Another great experience with Just Right Services. Our airflow through the ducting system at our new house was very low and we decided to get it serviced before the weather started heating up this year. Mitchell came out and took a look. Very professional and he actually knows how to put booties on correctly (so many people walk inside the house, THEN put booties on, or put booties on outside, step outside, THEN come in. smh) - very respectful of our home. I asked to follow him around since I love learning about how things work, and he had no problem and encouraged it.

Turns out that whoever serviced our ducting before we moved in didn't do that great of a job and put dampers in all the wrong places (unless the previous owners really needed 100% airflow to the hallway bathroom but not the bedrooms...?). Got a quote and Mitchell came out again to service the ducting system. Quick work and we could tell the difference right away when we turned on the system.

All that plus a 1 year labor warranty - another great experience in the books!

My old 1992 AC unit was having cooling issues so i shopped around, calling a few companies regarding the cost of a replacement AC unit and new condenser unit. Most companies just wanted to give me a rough price over the phone, without wanting to come out to my house. When i talked with drew, he said he would like to see my set-up first, just in case it was a basic issue, before knowing for sure, that i needed a complete new unit.

He came by my house, gave me my options. I chose to replace the entire set up , due to the age and efficenty of my existing unit.

I rarely write reviews but the service I experienced with just right services went so far beyond my expectations I felt compelled to do so. The heater in my home stoped working and the temperature inside dropped so low it was almost intolerable. I called just right services after reading so many glowing reviews on yelp and left a message. Soon after, I received a call from Mitch. I explained my situation and scheduled an appointment for him to come out. The day of the appointment Mitch arrived and was not only very courteous and knowledgable, he was able to diagnose the issue with my heater in less than 10 minutes and was very thorough when explaining the issue. A part had to be ordered and would take a few days to arrive but Mitch said he would try his best to obtain it sooner and he did. We scheduled a second appointment to have him come swap out the part. He was punctual and even brought his assistant Raj who was equally as courteous and knowledgable.  He also honored an online only special they had which helped save some money and I really appreciated that. I will without a doubt be using them for all future heating  and air conditioning services needed.  I can go on and on but bottom line, if you're in need of a trustworthy, reliable company that offers nothing less than exceptional quality work at very reasonable prices for any of the aforementioned services, give Just Right Services a call. I'll update this post after the tech comes for my plumbing issues.  But I have to say I am a little confused.  On the website, it says that they give a free estimate for any AC/heating/or Plumbing.  But when I called, they said that there's a fee of $89 that can be waived if you go with their services?  

I think that's pretty strange when I am trying to get a quote on something.  I would love to actually talk to a plumber over the phone so I can get a quote because I have the picture and I know exactly what type of service/labor I need.

Update 1: Their customer service seems pretty active and prompt.  Jared called me saying that there are free estimates and there was some miscommunication.  I will provide an update after the tech comes and evaluates my situation with the main water valve.  So far so good.

Update 2: Tech Marsid came promptly and gave me a fair quote.  He was really nice and awesome in fixing my PRV.  He quoted a fair price as well and confirmed with his superior.  Changed my rating to 5 star with the prompt service and price.

Gave Just Right Services a call 4 days into the worst heat wave of the year and they got back to me right away. Impressive considering the demand. Drew was incredibly professional and indicated that they might not be able to get to me for a day or so due the the heat wave and demand. Completely reasonable  as everyone was booked solid for days.

Later in the day I got lucky and another HVAC company had a cancellation were able to head over in a few hours. it was 105 degrees so I took them up on the time slot.

Drew followed up later indicating he would be able to come by sooner than anticipated. I was a bit embarrassed as he was doing me a big favor getting me in earlier than anticipated and I didn't contact him to cancel... a jerk move on my part!

Even though Drew had obviously juggled his schedule to get over to me ASAP in the middle of a crazy heat wave, he was completely professional and wasn't phased when I informed him had to cancel.  This shows his true colors and is an obvious indicator of the type of service he would provide. Most other companies would have given me an ear full .. which I would have deserved.

The point here is that this is an obvious indicator of the type of business Drew runs.. all class.

To summarize:

Drew:  Super professional\friendly. Bent over backwards to get to me ASAP.  
Me: Jerk who did not cancel before Just Right Services went out of their way to help me.

Just Right Services will be on the top of my list in the future. I'm looking to replace my HVAC system n the next year.. they will be my first call!

We had issues earlier this summer with our AC just suddenly not blowing air.  We had used another company previously for repair of our 20+ year old AC unit and called them out...twice.  $300 later and they still couldn't fix the problem, so we looked on Yelp for help!  Just Right was super responsive and was able to get out to us within 24 hours.  Nick found the problem immediately, and it was something that should have been very apparent to the other company!  45 minutes later we had the coldest air blowing out of our vents.  In the 8 years in our home, I don't think our AC has ever worked this well!

Nick was punctual, wore booties the entire time he was in my house, and took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing.  He also showed me the pricing for the parts he replaced and gave me an accurate quote for labor as well. There were absolutely no surprises, which was refreshing!  He even pointed out a couple inexpensive things we could do (weather stripping on the front door and some minor AC maintenance stuff that we can do ourselves) to improve the life of our unit and help our home retain the cool air.  Our dogs also loved him, which is telling.  Overall, the best experience!  And we will definitely call on them when it's time to replace the unit.  Thank you so much!

Mitch from Just Right Services came out to service my air conditioner unit. First thing he noticed was my filter was dirty and replaced it with a new high-tech filter which I won't have to replace but simply hose down once a year. He and his assistant totally checked all aspects of my system and everything turned out to be OK. The biggest problem is my home as it is a mobile home with single pane windows and I'm losing a lot of heat through those areas. I was impressed with the professionalism that Mitch displayed. He clearly knew what he was talking about. He was very informative and helpful and gave me options for replacing my system in the future. I appreciate his honesty about my current system and I will absolutely use them again when I'm ready to replace my unit!

Outstanding! And I mean they really do stand out from the pack. Our outdoor A/C unit was making some very ominous noises. As it is older, I was worried that we might actually have to buy a new one, and that would be difficult to afford. I looked at reviews and chose Just Right Services. My inquiry to YELP was answered very promptly. I talked to Jared, the office manager, who was friendly and polite. The earliest appointment would be in two days. I was given the name of the technician, Robert, and a time frame. Let's face it, no one can anticipate how much time each job will take. When Robert realized he might not make it within the established time, he called to apologize and update us on his ETA, instead of leaving us waiting and wondering.

Now the really good part: It would have been rather easy for Robert to sell us on a new unit... what do we really know about the condition of our old one? Not much. And I've noticed a deplorable tendency among repair persons and contractors to take advantage, especially of senior citizens who MAY be less likely to question expert opinions. I'm not terribly credulous when it comes to such things, but on the other hand, I do like to trust people. Robert quickly identified the problem, a capacitor whose intermittent failure made it difficult for the motor to start up properly--thus the sound we were hearing of false starts. He explained the problem, replaced the part which he had on board, tested the functions. Once complete, he donned booties over his work boots before coming into the house, explained the bill which was tiny FRACTION of the cost of a new unit, processed the payment digitally, and was on his way. I soon received a copy of the invoice in my email, and, by the way, the work is fully guaranteed (1 year parts and labor) and should other problems arise, what we paid for this repair can be applied to a future repair or replacement HVAC unit.

Just Right Services apparently lives up to its name by doing the right thing. Thank you.

All I can say, is WOW!  Drew and his guys are as good as it gets.  My A/C had a leak that was a much bigger leak than we thought.  A new unit was in order, and even in this heatwave, Drew was able to get it installed for us within 5 days.

I called Just Right Services for service on a furnace that stopped working.  They came out promptly and diagnosed the issue as a faulty part that needed replacement.  I was told that my furnace was older and the part was obsolete.  The only solution was total replacement of the unit.  I got a second opinion this morning and got a totally different diagnosis.  A different issue was found and a different part was recommended to be replaced.  The technician had the part on his truck and replaced the part immediately.  In under an hour, the problem was solved and my home was warm again.  Not sure why Just Right Services couldn't properly diagnose the issue.  Either capability or honestly but whichever it is, I wouldn't call this company again.

This is what customer service should always be like. I had an AC unit that wasn't working, so I figured I'd give them a call. Drew scheduled me for an 8-10 window on a Saturday morning, so I planned on closer to 10. At 7:55 he called, saying he was 10 minutes out and wanted to make sure I was there. Ok, so far, so good. Within 10 minutes after arriving, he was able to diagnose the problem (a leaking pipe where freon would escape), and give me a quote. He was able to describe the problem in layman's terms, what was happening, and what he'd do to fix. 30 minutes later the fix was complete. I thought this would be the end, but he continued to give me tips on maintenance, so that he wouldn't need to come back out to fix again any time soon. Above and beyond what I've seen anyone else do. A few weeks later now, and my AC is working like new. I'd highly recommend Drew and Just Right to everyone in the area. I've never had an easier, more productive service. I have a shower leak and want to get it fix.  I have used Just Right couple times in the past so I decided to book an appt on their website after getting no response from Yelp quote service.  I have noticed the Just Right has grown and provides many other services.  They even have a dedicated scheduler and web site for quotes and service appointment.  I decided to use their web site since I didn't get a response from Yelp quote and it was easier to book.

However, I got a call this morning from James who told me that they cannot service me today because all time slots are booked.  I tried to explain that I book a week ago and time slot i want was opened.  He explained their web site appointment system is broken and doesn't sync with their scheduling.  This is the second time that this scheduling problem occurred to me.  Last time James told me to call in for appointment but why don't you guys fix the online appointment or take it down.  Even though James was apologetic but he continuously overstepped my conversation as I was venting my frustration.  Funny thing is I got 2 text messages and 1 email confirming my appointment.  James offered another time slot that wont work for me.

This sounds petty but when you have to rearrange your schedule, it is very troublesome and frustrating.  This makes me to think the company might be growing too big or having some internal problems.  I suggest they take down the online appointment so it wont cause confusing and messing up people's schedules.  

Final words, the online appointment and yelp quote doesn't work for this company.

To start, this is a review for plumbing. We had the following work done:

5 toilets installed (we purchased three ourselves and reused two that were still in good condition)

2 vanities, including faucets
2 shower valve replacement and fixtures
2 pedestal sinks, including faucets

The toilets were installed correctly, along with the faucets and the shower valve.

A drain for one of the vanities was leaking - I had to redo the drain fittings, since they were not aligned or tightened properly.

We also used Just Right HVAC for a problem with our AC unit and they did a good job troubleshooting and repairing the problem. I would absolutely use them again for HVAC work and felt the plumbing work was adequate.

In a previous version of this review, I noted some things that were not completed. Drew pointed out that these were things that would have been separately charged work items. The conclusion is that this was a miscommunication from the plumber, setting higher expectations than what was realized. The lesson learned for Just Right, imho is to write it all down, be clear, and follow up to make sure things were done right. From Drew's perspective, this may have not be valid feedback. However, he was not present, so I feel it's important for the business to receive this.

There's quite a lot of stereotypes out there and one of them is dealing with any kind of home repair contractor. Some of these would be, late, overcharging for things that are unnecessary, and rude.
BUT, this team of experts are NOTHING like that. And I don't use the term experts loosely.

For starters when I call in, I get James. One of the most delightful individuals I've had the pleasure of talking to. Got right into it, taking notes on what the issues I'm having are, finding the right tech for the job, and scheduling it within my busy schedule. *chef's kiss* perfect.

Secondly, the tech I've been working with is Nick. What can I say about a professional who knows his stuff, doesn't over charge for anything easy or simple, and is personable and respectful. Definitely another class act to go along with an already stellar impression.

My wife and I have had a number of issues since buying our first home, and these guys have made getting any and all of it fixed so easy and painless, I fear for those who don't have someone they trust to work on plumbing and hvac.

Definitely glad I found them, and will be using them from now on.

They came out twice and charged me $835 and also said I needed to buy a new unit for $10,000+. I got a second opinion and the other company changed my control board (for way cheaper than the cost of a new unit). The other company also said your guys left a bunch of caps off my unit in the attic and there was water coming out of the unit. I'm really disappointed and won't be contacting you for services again.

We recently used Just Right Services for the first time. Our condo's AC was on the fritz during 90 + degree weather.  Isn't that always the case ?!?!?Jared and Drew were very professional. Our old AC unit crapped out during the summer, and after consulting quite a few of the local HVAC companies we decided to go with Drew and the guys at Just Right. They gave solid, practical advice on which new HVAC unit to get, had a reasonable price compared to their competitors, gave advice for where to install an additional air duct to help with some of our airflow and cooling issues, and had the work done fairly quickly. It's now been 6 months since we've had the new unit, and we remain extremely happy with the results.

My realtor recommended him so I hired Drew to fix what I knew was wrong with leaking attic ducting in my new condo, and he went beyond that to provide information on the dangerous furnace, providing photos from the attic that clearly showed the issues. After taking the time to clearly explain what was best, and after we agreed the HVAC system should be replaced, he asked a number of questions about how I use AC and heating (a lot or a little) in order to best determine how much of a replacement system I needed, allowing me to make the choices that were best for me and my budget instead of just selling me on the most expensive system. The install was fast, professional and clean, and he even made a return trip right away without complaint when I felt one of the vents was not providing enough air. On Wednesday evening, I noticed our secondary AC condensation pipe was leaking on our porch & continued to get worse through the night.  1st thing in the morning, my plumber Mark text me back & said it sounds like your primary is clogged & call an A/C guy right away.  We were very concerned!!

Once again I went to trusty Yelp to find someone.  I called 2 in my area, and only Drew from 'Just Right Services' responded immediately, even quoting a price, but not promising that's all it was.  He didn't have a service slot available that day, but told me to go online to book what time I wanted it on Friday morning, and in addition, this would allow us to receive the 50% off any work & a free service call for new customers. WOW, what a deal!  However, 5 minutes later, Drew called back with a cancellation slot asking if we would like his serviceman out in half an hour.  He even gave us the online deal.  Now that's GREAT business!!!

Mitch showed up right on time!  He went upstairs to our unit & showed me how BAD it was... and 'could have been' had we waited.  The pan below the unit was filled with water & about to overflow.  That would have caused major flood damage.  Mitch unclogged the drain, cleaned up the water mess, checked out the 2nd trap & even gave us some advice for maintaining both our A/C & heating unit for the future.  

We would HIGHLY recommend 'Just Right Services' & will be using them for all of our needs!!  Nothing like having an honest, knowledgeable, hard-working group of people in this industry.

Seriously impressed.

These guys corrected my initially frustrating experience with next-level service!

After a plumber came to my house to diagnose the problem, they determined that I needed a new part. After recommending the specific part (which I purchased on Amazon), the plumber told me that I could watch a YouTube video to install and fix the issue myself once the part was delivered. This was NOT the outcome I was expecting. I was initially frustrated with this response since my expectation was that the plumber was going to fix the issue/sell me the part and install it the same day - my dishwasher still wasn't fixed when the plumber left and I was charged $89 for the diagnostic fee which resulted in a fix it yourself resolution. I wasn't happy.

I expressed my frustration on Yelp and received immediate response. I spoke with Nick (one of the business owners) on the phone. He was empathic and understanding. He personally offered to refund my diagnostic fee, or help to install the part once it arrived. He came out on a Saturday morning and helped me install the part and fix my dishwasher for no additional charge! He followed through and finished the job!

I called for a fix and they delivered!

Next time I need a plumber, I'm calling these guys!

I give it 2 stars for an AC inspection, just because the technician came on urgency within a day of calling during a heat wave here in soCal, and for a reasonable inspection fee $89 only

But the complete diagnostic inspection itself paused at the start where after a quick check with the voltmeter the technician said the disconnect fuse has blown, and it will cost $286 for replacing it and continuing further checks..he didnt have a spare to continue tests and  put me on a spot to confirm if i will bear the charges to continue further..

Who knows what other things they would nickel and dime me for...Also he damaged the condensor unit panel when replacing it back after a forced(I had to insist more cursory checks) capacitor inspection.

During a recent heat wave, our A/C unit was not blowing cold air and I began to place calls to find a licensed and quality repair company which not much luck for immediate help - understandably everyone had limited availability. When I contacted Just Right Services, initially through Yelp after hours, I received a prompt response and was asked to call the office in the morning. They were able to provide an appointment a few days away, but given the urgency I asked to be placed on a cancellation list. Lucky for me, I did receive a call advising of a cancellation for the following day and suddenly I had an appointment for Saturday AM. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call from the technician, Nick, when he was 15 minutes away and he arrived promptly. He did a quick check of the vent advising the filter needed to be replaced which he kindly did and went to inspect the A/C unit. After a quick check, it was apparent that the unit was low on refrigerant which can occur due to a leak. Nick was straightforward in his communication with me about what the issue was and showed me how the unit was measuring. He advised on how much refrigerant would be needed, provided an estimate and within minutes the unit was back up and running with refrigerant back to its necessary level. Within minutes, the unit was blowing cold air! I was very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of Just Right Services and will gladly recommend them and/or use them again in the future, if needed.

Utility bill reduction!
Just wanted to give you an idea of the utility bill reduction we've enjoyed so far. The month before the new, electric, HVAC system was installed (replacing our old gas furnace) our gas bill was $405 for the month. The gas company prices have gone up to a criminal level, and yes, we were using our heater often, and did continue to use it often after the new install. The first full month of heater use with the new electric system, our GAS bill was $42! Yes, $42. I was ecstatic. So what was the tradeoff? Our electric bill was up about $100 in the same period. Again, using our heater often. That's a net savings of $263 that month. The savings have continued since! Absolutely no regrets! Wish I would've called JRS sooner, but I'm sure glad I called when I did.

As luck would have it out a/c stopped blowing cold air right when we reached record high temperatures!!! When it's 107 degrees outside and maybe 80 degrees inside it doesn't really workout to good when you have a 5 month old baby in the house:(

I called late yesterday asking to please have someone come out and provide service. Explained the situation and that we had a 5 month old and within hours Mitch showed up! Very pleasant! Very professional! Very efficient!

We had some leaking toilets and wanted someone that could also check our water heater and HVAC/AC. Called Just Right Services and the technician came the very next day and fixed our leaking toilets. The day after, they descaled our water heater and did maintenance on our HVAC and AC. They wear a mask the whole time and also shoe covers when they come into your home.

Excellent and efficient service. Pricing is also very fair.

Found our new plumbers for all future projects. We called Just Right to take a look at our heater/ac unit. All of the condos in our community have hydronic systems and many of our neighbors have been experiencing leaks. We noticed our heater was just blowing out cool air so we had Just Right take a look. They truly gave us an honest estimate of how to patch up the system and a realistic idea of how much time the unit had left. They also gave us a quote to replace the system entirely. I really appreciated that they didn't try to sell us an upgrade and actually gave us realistic options from band-aid to full on replacement.

We ended up going with a full on replacement based off of the quote they supplied and are extremely happy with the level of professionalism and courtesy that was maintained throughout the entire process. Jarad worked with us through email/call/text to schedule appointments. We always received a phone call 30 minutes before anyone arrived at our house. They were always on time and so polite and friendly.

I will be happy to use Just Right for all future plumbing needs in our house.

I used this company again to fix a bad install for a brand new 3 ton ac that installed by a non licensed amateur last Sept. The ac was not leveled, and it was installed backwards (the emblem should have been placed facing front without wires hanging down). Anyhow, Just Right made a bad install just right. They leveled it, put earthquake straps on, charged it correctly and pretty much brought an incorrect install up to code. Never again will I do business with any other person for plumbing, electrical or HVAC needs. When my 20 yr old furnace goes- it's comforting to know I am in good hands with this company. I am also highly interested in getting a salt free water softener installed next. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
I highly urge anyone who wants honest and outstanding work by a reputable company- use Just Right. Don't waste your time or risk yourself with any other company to do the job.

So very happy with Just Right Services for all of our HVAC and Plumbing needs. This Summer during the heatwave and COVID our AC stopped working. We were impressed with all the reviews on here, so decided to give them a ring. Many other companies wouldn't even call back as it was a busy time. Drew (the owner) was out here very quickly and let me know that he had 40 years of experience and told me exactly what was wrong with our AC, without trying to sell me a new unit. He also made recommendations to extend the life of the AC by adding a new starter, in addition to replacing the capacitor.

He also suggested adding a service plan and I was hesitant, but was impressed so far, figured it would be worth it to have a company that I trust to service and provide future discounts for other needs...

Glad I did as this winter our Heater decided to stop working... So I called them back out again and found out we had a Hydroponic heating system, and there was a hot water pump that needed replacing, so now it's a plumbing issue. So then Robert came out and inspected the issues, came up with a plan, and within a week had came back out and fixed our lack of heat. It was a very involved job and they could have just replaced the pump, but instead actually made the system better for the future.

Trust & integrity go a long way and I'd highly recommend Just Right Services.

So latest update:

Drew was kind enough to give me a call to work out any miscommunication that had occurred. They do actually repair mini split units and our unit was still under warranty from last year. I made an appointment and Leo came out and fixed the issue quickly. Leo said, in more technical terms, there there is no actual leak in the unit, but there was some kind of leakage with threading or something going into/out of the unit. He was able to fix and put refrigerant to complete the repair within an hour. Since the unit was still under warranty, the amount paid last time was applied to the cost of repair this time. Overall, very happy with the outcome and fingers crossed that everything stays working! Thanks Drew, Leo and James!

The owner, Drew, came to my house on the same day that he was scheduled. In fact as he was running ahead of schedule that day, he called me and asked if it was ok if he came earlier than scheduled. I really appreciated that concern with my own schedule.
He came in, asked me a few questions about the trouble with my system, went out to the unit in the garage, adjusted a panel that held a shut off switch -- and the system started! I was a bit embarrassed and ask Drew how much I owed him. He said not a thing, said goodbye, shook my hand and thanks for the opportunity.
Drew will be the first person I call in the future should I have any issues with my air conditioning or plumbing systems (as he does plumbing too)

Thanks God we found Drew to come fix our hot water!!  First we though it's our water tank problem or the water heater has issue.  He came check everything, and it's ended up it our AC system affect the water tank can't bring up the hot water. (Don't ask me why my water is related with AC, idk how to explain and I dun remember the sth system).

Anyway, Drew is awesome and professional.  He helped us fix the AC thing and we can have hot water for shower, FINALLY!!

Highly recommended Drew! Professional, knowledgeable, very nice and fair price!  If he knows that is minor thing u don't need to fix, he won't suggest u to fix as well.

Our AC started leaking late and found Just Right Services on Yelp.  Drew called me first thing the next morning to schedule an appointment and called when he was on his way the morning of the appt.  Luckily it was just a clogged drain but Drew was very friendly, kept us informed and was in/out in a very timely manner.  It was an enjoyable experience.  Highly recommend Just Right Services if you're looking for someone in the area.

We used to call Desmond @ Affordable Plumbing and were always very happy with the service. Apparently he is on vacation and Drew came to check the AC. On the phone we were told that the call was $85 and we agreed considering that it is high season for their kind of work.
They gave us a 2 hour window as arrival time, when it was 20 minutes after that I called to check and left a message. Drew called back saying that it would probably be another hour or more. When I complained that he could have informed me of the delay he became annoyed and defensive, remarking that they were overloaded of work because of the heat.
Well all I wanted was a phone call, and also sorry but doesn't all this work make your business thrive? ...
Anyway, he managed to arrive before he foresaw but was still annoyed. He performed a quick AC check saying that everything was ok, just the filter we used was too thick. i asked why one room had problems cooling he took a ladder and watched in the attic, and concluded that the duct was too small. To change it would be 300/400 $.
The charge for these 15 minutes was 135 $ (not 85 like I was told on the phone). When my 84 year old mother said that it was very expensive he responded very rudely to her.
At that point I decided not to discuss, write the check and post bad reviews both here and on Angie's list.

Just right services did a great job helping me with items for my kitchen remodel. I needed to have some copper pipes moved, a gas line moved and needed installation of a new duct for a vent hood. They were very flexible with the scheduling and accommodating to all my requests. I noticed some water leaking from one of the valves for my kitchen sink and they came out immediately the next morning to fix it. Will definitely use them again

Not to sound corny, but Just Right is Just Perfect in my book!  At 10:30 this morning my wife noticed there was a big leak along the side of our garage.  Turns out our water heater was rusted out on the bottom and had cracked causing water to be leaking out of it.  I called Just Right and explained the situation and they told me they were able to get a technician scheduled to be at our house between 2 & 4pm.

 Our technician Nick called me in advance confirming he would arrive at 2pm.  As soon as he showed up and saw the issue he assessed the situation and gave me a very reasonable quote To replace our 30 year old unit. Nick ran out to get what he needed to complete the job and by 5:15 we had hot water running through our pipes.

 Nick did an amazing job and was a true professional.  On top of the great job he did, he was extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with while he was doing the job.

Drew called prior to showing up for same day Saturday service where he was early.  

I had done some review as to what the issue was with the blower unit thus I knew the problem.  I had the issues confirmed by a friend of mine that is in the ac business but was he was not available on Saturday.  

In short, Drew gave the correct immediate diagnostic that would fix the issue as to what it would take to get the unit up and going as well as my long term needs.  

The Price was a bit more than expected for a weekday job but much less than what one would have expected for a last minute, personally urgent Saturday response call.  

The reviews are credible accept for one that appears a bit out of the ordinary, however, and more importantly, so is the company.

That's cool so now I'm feeling the same.

I recently had our scheduled annual HVAC maintenance, and the tech that came out, Leo, was excellent.  Because I missed my spring maint, I requested for Just Right to do both the Heating and Cooling maintenance check, and they honored my request.  Leo was super knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and did a great job of explaining to me what I needed to know as he completed his maint check/tests.  But this was al no surprise to me, because ever since hiring Just Right to install 2 brand new HVAC systems in my home back in 2019, every interaction with them has been fantastic, and they have provided excellent service every step of the way.  Thanks again for another great experience!

This weekend was a record heat wave in Orange County and we have a VIP account with another AC company (Service Champions).  However, that company does NOT come out for emergency services or weekends.  Our home got to 90 degrees inside.  We called Just Right Services and while they couldn't make it out THAT day, they were able to come the next day.  The owner himself came to our home and got our AC working in less than 30 minutes! We will be using them from now on and immediately cancelled our VIP account with the other company.

We had them move our AC unit in the backyard to give us more space. Price was a bit less than the others we asked. Leo Sanchez was awesome - he explained everything and helped us modify plans to fit what was needed. He arrived at the beginning of the time slot and did the work in one day.  AC is running great. A friend saw their truck and said he's been using them for years. Highly recommend.

The owner Drew  reached out after the mishap on no calling back and made things right by following though on his appointment and quote. I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 because out of the 4 companies we are getting quotes from, this is the only one that charges you $350 just to get a quote. If we ultimately end up going with them then it goes toward the total system cost? But kinda odd when other companies offer the heat load analysis at no charge. All in all, Drew is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

I have had JRS provide my service for the last two years.  My AC stopped pushing cold air so Nick came out today quickly diagnosed the issue and did not have the part but went out and got it and returned within an hour.  My AC is back up and running just in time for the next heat wave.  I also have JRS's maintenance contract which is a great service.  They proactively let me know when maintenance is due and work with me to set-up a convenient appointment.  I highly recommend this company!

Well, this part of September has been BLAZZING HOT. One of the units went out. I called a couple other companies with no call back. Just Right took my call, and was out to my house the next morning. Thermostat was shot. I guess I could have fixed it, but with the toddlers home and I had to go to work, I let Just Right handle it. Polite and efficient....problem fixed. Happy cooler home.

Awesome company , I usually use them for yearly maintenance on hvac etc. but, last week big old hot water tank busted , they came out promptly in eve to help . Then came with new one on my day off . It was a crazy hard job with it being upstairs and tight  tiny closet with washer and dryer jammed in .  Marsid did an outstanding job getting it done and even changed my lightbulb in ceiling high up while he was on top of dryer . Appreciate his hard work and friendly service .

So...selling my home and offered AC to the buyer...had not turned on my heat (disconnected and gas shut off) in over 15 years.  Buyer insisted on heat...(I'm two miles from the beach so...) and reluctantly I researched and picked Just Right.  This group works as a solid team!  Got initial estimate.  (Thank God they offered financing thru Wells Fargo - no interest).  Asbestos abatement went smoothly.  Techs showed up on time.  I work from home and was able to observe them all day during removal and install.  It's a dirty, difficult job and not a career for todays mentality.  But...you can see these guys are treated well, they are polite and always in a good mood and really know their stuff!  Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the best work!

This company came out in the summer to fix my AC fan.   They had to order the part as my unit is a 20 year old unit and they fixed the unit just fine.  6 months later the same issue reoccurred as my fan would not stop but the heater would not come on.  I called them at 8 am, gave them the history and they scheduled me for same day service.  Two hours later I got a call that the tech was available if I didn't mind an early arrival.  The tech spent about half an hour, was carrying the part I had told them and replaced it.  They had given me a 3 year parts and labor warranty and they kept their wide.  My cost was $0!!! This is amazing service, a company that truly keeps their word. BTW, the fix would have cost around $600.

At the risk of giving these guys too much business and having to wait for a house call, stop your search right now and just call these guys!

They are the BEST and charge super reasonable rates--and KNOW what they are doing! We had the great fortune to have Nick come out for two separate visits to service our wonky AC and furnace, and he was efficient and amazing both times. I swear he's an AC Whisperer ... he knew right away what was wrong and already had the tools and parts to fix it. He also went out of his way to take a look at another problem we were having, and fixed that too! He takes the time to listen, gives excellent advice, and he also takes the time to make sure everything is working correctly.

Contractors who know their business are SO hard to find these days. You just found one.

my AC broke down. Originally, we had appointment with Mitch, who kept changing the appointment and was not professional. He finally completed the job but it didnt work. we made another appointment for him to come out, and the day before appointment, he cancelled on us, citing emergency again. Hes entitled to that, especially when he is the owners son.  That turned out to be good for me. Also made time to assist my neighbor with her issue. definitely will use in the future. Called Just Right Services last week as we were told some of our air ducts were loose and/or off.  Mitch came out the next day and gave us some options.  As this is an 18 year old house we knew it probably needed some upgrading.  His quote was very, very reasonable with no service charge for the call.  Who does that anymore?  Came back out today and did the work.  On time, polite and professional.  Highly recommend them and will call them the next time.

This company installed my air conditioning in 2014. I have not maintained it(my fault) and recently started noticing it wasn't functioning effectively. We had a major pipe leak on a Saturday at 1:00pm.  Just Right Services was there within the hour.  Robert May detected and fixed the leak, staying until 8:00p.m.  He was professional and was very calming.  He worked with a difficult neighbor (whose pipe had broken into our lower unit condo.)  I am grateful for this company.

Why is my review unfair? Your technician did not diagnose anything. He just looked at the unit and said he needed to call Rheem the next day. He didn't take anything apart to try to find the root cause of the issue. Are you saying that justifies a fee for diagnosis? And I understood it was a holiday and Rheem's office was closed. That's why I waited to hear back from your team the next day. However when the morning past with no update, my wife and I ended up having to follow up with you and your team instead, which had no update.

I called another plumber and they came within a couple hours. They also charge a diagnostic fee, much higher than what you charge. But they came by, stayed longer than your technician did, and they didn't even have to call Rheem. They explained my options, gave me several choices, and I went from there. And guess what? They didn't charge me a diagnostic fee for their visit and advice.

You messaged me privately to apologize for your team's missteps, which I appreciate, but your public response says otherwise by saying my feelings about your lack of customer service is unfair. You said in your private message that you'll accept the critique and move on. Now why the contradiction?

Our AC compressor stopped working yesterday and I checked Yelp and found this co. I called this am, and James was so helpful, professional and was able to get us scheduled right away!
Leonardo came out and he was great! Did a thorough inspection, explained the issues and addressed all my questions and performed all necessary repairs - replaced parts and now we have a working AC!

I highly recommend Just Right Services! We will be using them for ongoing maintenance services

It has been so hot the last few days and we decided it is a must to have our AC fixed.
Mitch and Eraj came out to our house on such short notice and fixed our AC. We called other places who would not make the time to help us. They are affordable, so friendly and they got the job done so quick. Eraj even helped me fix a problem with my door knob that had broke.
