Our whole experience with JC was great, and Jake was amazing! We called for a next day appointment and got one for our urgent repair. We had a leaking tankless water heater. Jake diagnosed and fixed the problem super fast, and took an extra step to make sure the problem didn't repeat. He was super knowledgeable. Then he went above and beyond to answer a question we'd had for years! They'll definitely be our first call for plumbing in the future.

I had a slab leak that we couldn't locate. I called Jc Sewer and Drain Plumbing and they had someone come out to my house the next day. Sulley and Jeff located the leak within an hour and came back a week later and rerouted the pipe. They were both professional, knowledgeable and respectful of our home. They even changed out a leaking valve that wasn't related to the initial slab leak. They cleaned their work area and overall did and outstanding job.

Fantastic company to work with all around. From the ease in getting an appointment set up (with Yvonne over the phone) to the outstanding field service provided by Elisha, the entire team at JC Sewer & Drain Plumbing made our garbage disposal replacement experience a smooth and cost-effective one.

I want to give a particular shout-out and recognition to Elisha. He not only did a great job explaining the issue with our garbage disposal as well as the different options we had to replace it, his work was clean, efficient, and professional. He only did what was necessary, meaning, he didn't replace the piping or the flange/mounting ring that were in good condition (I had done a fair amount of self-diagnosis and online reading beforehand, and Elisha was very honest in everything he said and did).

I highly recommend JC Sewer & Drain Plumbing, and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Cost-saving note/advice: Buy your own garbage disposal unit from a local home improvement store beforehand (Moen brand if you need a unit with power cord attached; Badger brand if you do not), because that would save the technician time (to drive to the store, buy the part, and then come back) which means money saved for you as labor cost is charged per hour. We did this, and Elisha finished in just under an hour. If we hadn't, that would have been an extra $125, since they charge $125/hr.

I should call this the clogged sewer novel since it is a bit long and stretches the imagination.

All facts are true, and I'm sharing it here because you may live in Stockton and may need to know this information.

I'll try to keep it brief:

(Quick explanation: I look out for my Aunt in Stockton, who is 92 years old and lives alone. However, I live in another state so I depend on caregivers to update me.)

1. Thursday evening 11/19/15. My Aunt's bathroom drained clogged. She did not call me. She called a plumbing company, (call this Plumbing Company #1). They had a plumber named Steve who was there for 2 hours. Didn't solve it. No one called me.

2. Friday 11/20/15 - time unknown, Steve and another plumber came out again. Went on the roof, ran a snake down vent pipe for 100 feet. Said they were there 3 hours. Didn't solve it. No one called me.

3. Friday 11/20/15 at 4:19 PM. Caregiver services called me to tell me that their worker told them about the clogged drain and they wanted to let me know.

4. Saturday around noon - I called Plumbing Company #1 to find out what went on. Their secretary said they contacted to City of Stockton to have someone come out since they had been unable to locate the clean out pipe. This is a pipe, normally in the front yard, that the City or a plumber can use to clear a clogged drain.

5. Saturday afternoon - My Aunt said a city worker must have been to the house because they left a note on her door that said we needed to pay a plumber to find or install a clean out access pipe.

6. Sunday- one of the neighbors poked around in the front yard but could not find a clean out pipe. He referred me to another plumber, let's call him Plumber #2. I spoke with #2. He said he would come out Monday morning and if he couldn't solve it we didn't have to pay anything.

7. Sunday evening - since I was now very concerned, I called Plumber #1 and told them they did not need to come back out again.

8. Monday morning - 8:45 - Plumber #2 came to the house. I know because a neighbor was off work and came over to supervise. Plumber #2 and his son-in-law went on the roof and ran their 100 foot snake. Pulled out a few items, but did not solve the blockage. They also dug around in the front yard but could not locate the clean out.

9. Monday about noon - Received a call from secretary at Plumber #1, wanting to know how I wanted to take care of their bill. I told them there were a number of companies in Stockton that said if they couldn't clear the drain you didn't owe anything.

She replied that was not their policy and that I owed a total of $785. for 2 hours on Thursday night and 3 hours on Friday. I told her she could reach me at the hospital because I just had a heart attack. She said they were sending an invoice and would do whatever necessary to collect their money.

9. Tuesday morning - 8:30 - I called Plumber #2. He said they had not solved the problem. I told him I know they tried so he could send us a bill. He said absolutely not, didn't solve it, didn't owe them a penny.

10. Tuesday morning - 10:00 - I had been researching on the Internet for over two days and finally decided to call another plumber, James from JC Plumbing. By the time I was able to reach James it was getting dark so he said he would come out Wednesday morning (today).

11. Tuesday night - time unknown - Three neighbors teamed up and used a metal detector and steel rod, poked around in the front yard and did not find the clean out. They gave up. Said there probably was not a clean out.

11. Wednesday morning - 9:00 - James came to the property, located the clean out, solved the problem.

5 stars for Customer Service and We never physically met.
I had an emergency. The sewer line was backed up so bad, the top popped off and smelly stuff was pouring out onto my front lawn. I was told to call the city ( of Stockton).
When i called the 24hr emergency hotline for this particular issue, I kept getting an answering service. After leaving 2 messages and 2 hours later with no response from the city, I had to call a professional. This company was the first that I called. The lady that answered the telephone was right on it. She knew exactly what my issue was, along with how and who should address it. When she told me the city will come out and do it for free because it's their issue, I frantically told her that I have been leaving messages. She was floored. She told me to hold on, called the city of Stockton, got the same message and used her magic touch to reach a representative. She set it all up for me to have them come out. They were their in 10 minutes.
She literally saved my pockets.

I've used JC Sewer and Drain several times over the last 6 years, old house = old plumbing. They've always been quick, responsive, fair priced and honest, I appreciate that.
Last night I had the pleasure of having their newest Tech Zach come out to find the root of our back up. When my clean out wouldn't cooperate, the boss and his wife were there answering their phones at 9pm in efforts to help him brainstorm.
We ended up deciding to come out in the morning hours with a fresh head and morning light. Bing bang boom they were done in an hour.
It's great to know a family owned company is so committed to helping their customers no matter the time. I appreciate their efforts and won't go anywhere else.

I found JC on Yelp. When I called, I got Yvonne, who was very pleasant and helpful . She answered the phone almost immediately. It turns out that she is the wife of James, the owner. After the call, I actually got a text confirming the appointment, and on the day of appointment I got another text to confirm , which I really appreciate it when I met James and his assistant he was very affable and outgoing. They did a superb job. I had lost my hot water from my heater and within a couple of hours were able to fix it. I really enjoyed meeting both of them and was very impressed with the way that I was kept in contact via text messages. And I thought he was very fair in what he charged me. He will be my plumber for the future, and I heartily
recommend him.

First our back toilet got stopped up. Turns out it was a broken pipe (I already knew this). They gave a fair estimate, but I needed it done very soon. The boss didn't have anyone to send so he came and dug it all up and replaced the pipe.

That's service.

Next we developed a leak under the foundation (but we didn't know where). It took a while to find it. Jc came out and rearranged the pipes so that no old pipes traveled underground anymore. In addition gave us a need feed from the well and a new feed to my work shed. Excellent work.

Absolute life savers! I've been having issues with my sewer line for the last 3 years. About every 6 months it will back up. I've had a couple of different plumbing companies and the city out to help me resolve the issue, all saying I don't appear to have an accessible ground level clean out. NO ONE has been able to find my main clean out until today. I was feeling pretty defeated being told my clean out was likely under my drive way and that it would cost thousands of dollars to install a two way clean out, run a camera and take care of the roots that they were sure were in the line or see what was going on. Thankfully I came across Jc Sewer on yelp today and gave them a call. They were able to find my clean out within 15 mins. They snaked the line, found no roots, told me I didn't need a two way clean out and got my problem taken care of. I'm so grateful that there are some knowledgeable and trust worthy companies out there. Will only use these guys from now on!

I call James early on a Friday morning. One of my bathroom pipes was broke so I couldn't use the sink. He squeezed me in that afternoon. He completed the job in a timely fashion and was very fair on the charges. James is reliable and gave me some good advice. With talking to him, it didn't take long to figure he was a critter person. What we have learned about plumbing so far is, 1 They show up when they say and did not cancel or never arrive! 2 They did not try and sell us on cray expensive services and parts act. 3 They actually helped solve a problem that could have turned into something super pricey but was able to try something and get the septic working again without having to redo the entire thing. I am beyond happy and now we know who to call in the future After rotor rooter tried charging us 1700$ for a maybe. James is great and we are so glad we found them. THANK YOU!

Beware! It cost me $250.00 per drain for two drains, $500.00. The worker was here four hours, but he did waste some time. He insisted on looking around the property for a drain-out, even though I told him that the owner and his son were here a few years ago and determined that there was no drain-out. This same worker was here last year, and he looked for a drain-out that did not exist. He still wanted to look for a drain-out this time, and he walked over to some nearby houses to see if they had a drain-out in their front yard. One of the drains, that he cleared, was to my drain for the garage sink. But I have to replace the P-trap and adapter to the sink myself, or else this company will charge me another $125.00 to finish the job.

Highly recommended. James and Kevin (sorry if I got your name wrong!) came out and finally fixed a tricky and persistent clog that had already stumped several other plumbers, and they installed something to prevent it from being such an issue in the future, and all for a reasonable price. Thanks a million for coming to my rescue when the disposal broke and flooded my kitchen! the cast iron plumbing finally gave out in my old vic. thankfully, i caught the small leak friday morning and contacted JC sewer right away, noting their excellent reviews and advert of covid safety. Jake arrived in about 30 minutes, assessed the problem, and was back on monday to replace the main stem, as well as most of the other lengths of cast iron with updated materials. an all day project involving jackhammering and a post-installation concrete pour. now it's all done and my house is good for another 130 years! what a relief. Jake also tightened a badly leaking spigot on the house as a courtesy.

I purchased a water softener from Home Depot and had Elisha from JC Plumbing install it. My home was not pre-plumbed.

Elisha did a fantastic job at a fraction of the price it would have costed me to go through a water softener distributor or even Costco.

I can't speak on the rest of their services, but if you're looking to get a water softener installed, I highly recommend them.

I was extremely satisfied with the overall provided from JC Sewer & Drain Plumbing when our basement experienced flooding and a failed sump pump due to all the rain from the atmospheric river storms.

From the moment I called them. I was treated with warmth and empathy. They explained their services, gave me some helpful information and got my appointment scheduled. I told them if they had a cancellation for a sooner time, to call me - and I lucked out!

When the appointment was scheduled, I got both text and email with the info, and when the plumber was getting ready to head my way, I received both a text and a phone call from the office.

Our plumber, Zach, was friendly and knowledgeable. He evaluated the issues, let us know what options we had, answered our questions in layman's terms, gave us a quote for parts and labor, and was able to start right away when we approved the work for the quoted cost.

He said during the evaluation about how long it would take to complete the job and was pretty accurate! No mess was left behind and he went over the work guarantee and warranty of the new pump, so we would know what to expect.

Overall, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a plumbing service. I felt I was treated like a friend, not a number.

We bought our first house and the inspection suggested some plumbing work to be done. I was going through yelp and JC had a really nice review. I booked them and a few days later they came over to do their own inspection.

Here are my thoughts:

-James is honest and upfront with what needs to be done.
-They give you options on prices with time required for the work and materials
-They work with you even after consultation and they return and answer your calls
-Great price for the amount of work
-James is very personable and cleans up after work

We had been having a problem for almost a year with our downstairs toilet making a loud, deep reverberating noise after flushing. The wall and the pipe conecting the toilet would vibrate. At first, it happened pretty infrequently and only during a certain time of day. Then it started happening more and more frequently and was getting stronger, so we knew we couldn't put off calling a plumber any longer. I called on Friday before lunch and received an immediate response. She said she knew just the technician to send out to diagnose this type of problem, the owner James. He would be able to come out the following day, which was fine since it wasn't an emergency and it worked perfectly with our schedule. Yvonne called a couple hours prior to our scheduled appoinitment and asked if it would be okay for James to come early since he was finished early with another job in the area. Great! We could enjoy our Saturday sooner. James was very personable, knowledgable, and professional. He knew exactly the problem and how to diagnose it when we described it to him, and he explained it in a way we could understand. He replaced the offending part and even recorded a video of the toilet making the noise to use as training material for his technicians, so they know how to replicate it and properly diagnose the problem should they come across it at their jobs. Wonderful! James made sure to let us know that they guarantee their services, and to give them a call back should we continue to have the same problem or new leaks. We highly recommend JC Sewer & Drain Plumbing and will definitely keep them in mind for our future plumbing needs.

I have to leave a star but I would not recommend them as of yet. I hired them to install a dish washer and fix old angle stops. They do not tell you about their service fee prior to coming out and inform you after the visit is completed.The dishwasher hook up was leaking and I called them back out to trouble shoot and they came up with something related to the dishwasher or the customer mod and said it did not leak after running it through cycles.The dish washer is still leaking and as a contractor I hired them so I would not have to worry about a dish washer install and angle stops, now I will have to go trouble shoot the leak myself and call them back out once I determine the leak.

So they charged $220 to fix my water heater in 30 mins and it didn't last a day. They wanted another $220 again to come out and fix it again because the tech stated he now know what the issue is. Spoke to the manager and she was basically no help. We went with a different plumber (Muhammad) in the area who came out and question if they even changed anything on the water heater. He found the issue and was able to bypass it so it would work until he went to pick up the part the next day. Came back the next day and fixed the issue! JC came out and spent less than 30 minutes on the water heater, and it worked for for 30 minute and that was it. Didn't even offer to come out to take a second look at the issue.

JC has done a lot of work for us over the last couple years. He's always been on time, worked really hard and charged fair prices. Him and his team are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure each job is done right. Most recently, he re-plumbed our kitchen and plumbed a new bathroom in our basement with an up-flush toilet. This company is awesome. Salt of the earth, ethical, and professional. I had a major leak in my front yard. I called and they immediately dispatched a person to my property. After some testing and investigation the plumber concluded that the leak was the responsibility of the city. He called the city on the spot and made all of the arrangements for the city to repair the leak. AMAZING; simply Amazing!! So honest, good family business. I had multiple plumbers come to my house to remove a clog and weren't successful. They even went as far as to suggest that I have a clean out installed that would cost me more than $1200 since I have back to back bathrooms. My prayers were answered when James returned my call and came out the next morning. He was here at 9 am on the dot. He explained everything I needed to know about where my sewer line was and how he would remove the clog. He was done within 20 min. I will be using him again for any future plumbing issues. We chose to go with JC Plumbing, rather than through our home warranty. Jake was out the same day. Our water heater was just installed in June, therefore, the part was still covered under manufacturer warranty. Jake got the part for the water heater within a couple hours and installed it.
We have decided not to renew our home warranty because we've had bad service with the companies they've been sending.
If you have plumbing needs, JC is awesome. We will definitely do business with them again if issues arise in the future.

Two days ago, we started experiencing problems with our sewer line tied to a septic system. Searched Yelp, saw the reviews for this company and called right away. I am so happy we did! Our tech, Jacob C., came that same day and within the time frame given. He immediately identified the problem and got started right away on getting our line unclogged. In no time flat, our line was cleared to our great relief. We appreciated not just the value of the service in terms of cost, but also how helpful Jacob C. was. James and jake came out this morning to fix leak issue under my bathtub. At first i called a couple of places before i called james and the quote that other company gave me was 1,500 - 3,000 ( james gave me a great quote ) because i assume the lack of willingness to make the job easier for them instead of considering other options . Long story short james came in got down and dirty and crawl under the cross space and fix the issue. Definitely and highly recommend! Will return for future plumbing!

Called them around 9am because my toilet was overflowing into the shower. Guy that picked up said Elisha would be there between 10-2. He got here right at 10. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and just all around a great guy. Fixed my problem in an hours time. $125 no extra fees or anything. And that was with him taking his time to make sure everything was working perfectly. Definitely would call them again!! Excellent service in a matter of no time.

This company and this service is as good as it gets, and I'm very critical as a rule. The woman who answered the phone was polite, pleasant and efficient. I had the repairman at my house in exactly the time frame that had been promised . He also was polite, just plain nice, and also very efficient. Within minutes he had diagnosed the issues, listened attentively to my requests, quickly drawn me up an estimate of what it would cost, then left to get the necessary supplies. He was back in hour, with everything he needed to remove the old dishwasher and garbage disposal, and install the new ones. He did just that, chatting all the while like an old friend. The total cost of the job came in under the estimate, and he helped clean up and hauled off the old appliances to boot! I can't wait to have another plumbing problem so that I can call them back! And, if you are lucky enough to get Clark to do the work, you will most certainly be happy with the result.

This company is the best! After the company I that was originally supposed to come out to replace our water heater flaked, I called James at JC Sewer and Drain and explained we had not hot water for the last 2 days. I really needed to get a water heater installed. He assured us he would have one installed for me that day. He showed up, as promised, and he was very professional. He was even cheaper than the company that was originally suppose to do the work. I will only call James at JC Sewer & Drain for now on. The toilet flooded, the shower valve broke, the sewer needed to be snaked, and the garbage disposal was jammed...all on a Sunday New Years weekend.
James, the Dad who we have worked with 3 other times on two houses, came right out on time on Sunday and fixed it all! He is polite and kind and skilled. I could not be more pleased with the entire transaction from phone call to finish. The fee was very reasonable and the work was done well. I highly recommend this company and in fact I have them coming to another house to do sewer work for me tomorrow. On another job he gave me better access to hose bibs and moved some exterior water lines around. He replaced some valves and did a general plumbing tune up. I was completely satisfied.

I wanted to write what wonderful service I received from Casity & Sons Plumbing. I called in the morning and talked with Evon who was very nice and helpful. Evon helped me by giving me advice on how to stop the mold problem from the water damage. She sent James out to my house to give me a free estimate. He fixed the problem that day. They called to inform that the technician completed his previous appointment early and was available to arrive earlier than scheduled. Poor service all around! If you actually need work done, don't hold your breath. After waiting for 2 days for a non-emergency toilet installation appointment, they texted me the morning of to inform me that the appointment would need to be rescheduled because it is raining. Huh? The toilet installation is for an indoor bathroom. Then the lie changed and I was told that no techs were available. I would need to wait an additional 3 days. I missed work and they didn't provide any compensation. They told me to find another company if I didn't like it. And so I will...I encourage you to do the same. Save your time and your money. Go with a company that ACTUALLY shows up.

So grateful they were able to come out the same day I called. I called at 4pm and Jake was at my house within the hour. Our kitchen sink was backed up for a couple of days already and when I did a load of laundry I found out that drain was backing up too. James, the owner, also came out to assist with the problem. They were very friendly and did a great job. Cleaned up and everything. They also stayed until 8:30pm to finish the job. I had a major blockage in a line leading to the street, I had two other plumbers come to my house (who shall remain nameless) and were unable to even find the problem. I saw JC Sewer and drain reviews and called, James came out on a Sunday, located the problem, discovered that we could use one of the bathrooms downstairs, as it was on a different line. He had to come back another day, dig up the front yard and found a root had crushed the main. He and his guys cut the roots away, fixed the broken section of pipe, put all the dirt back and it looked like nothing ever happened. And, the amount he charged for all the work was very reasonable. Elisha came out the same day we called to do an estimate on a smaller plumbing job we wanted done. I asked him to run new hot/cold lines and extend a drain line through some cabinets and a wall so I could install a new washer/dryer in my in-law suite. After a few minutes of covering the different options we could choose, he came back with a great estimate and said he could get the job done the next day. Amazing.

He came back the next day at 8:30AM as promised and went to work. Elisha worked all day and completed the job as promised.

Quality work from a really great guy too.

Exceptional. The owner of the company came out on a Sunday and fixed my plugged up drain in an hour. He obviously was very knowledgeable and seasoned in his work because he knew exactly how to tackle my problem in a timely fashion. He did the job and at the quoted price we agreed on before hand. Responded to my call immediately regarding an apartment complex I manage. Once details provided, they immediately contacted tenant and schedule inspection/repair next day. They inspected and tech called me to provide details. Our water heater sprang a leak during these hot Covid days. We were out of town and were notified by our HOA. A neighbor saw water coming out of garage!
I called JC Sewer & Drain after reading reviews on Yelp. I'm so glad I did! Jacob came to take out the old water heater and agreed to come back once the restoration company rebuilt the platform in the garage.
He finished our job today. I was out of town so he sent me a photo of the newly installed water heater.

The office staff was courteous and informative over the phone and arrival communication relayed timely. The technician Jeff was great. Spent some time troubleshooting our leak and figuring out if it was our sink/toilet/or shower, and it actually ended up being a fast and easy fix due to an incorrect fill valve installation on the toilet from over a year ago by a family member. Invoice and receipt were sent same day via email, and was leak free in under 12 hours of initial Yelp message for a quote.

Called and spoke to Misty about 3:00 in the afternoon for a leaking water heater. She sent Sulley out to inspect and he arrived by 4:00. He diagnosed the problem and advised I needed to have the water heater replaced. I opted to have him do the work and he had a new one installed and working by 8:00 that evening. TLDR version; Great service from JC Sewer and will be using them again!

I had another company (rhymes with Bonney Plumbing) come out, and I had to pay them $50 only for them tell me they won't even try to clear blocked pluming from inside the home, and since I have an old home with no nearby clean-out, they wanted THOUSANDS of dollars to dig up my yard. I knew this was an easy blockage, and told them to pound sand. (And insult to injury, they were looking for the pipe in the wrong place in the yard, which made it seem like a bait-and switch tactic on their part.)

I called JC Sewer & Drain almost in tears, and they were at my home within a few hours. Zach the tech guy was beyond nice and compassionate, and tried his best to clear the simple blockage by himself from inside the home. (We weren't really hopeful that it would work, but Zach tried his best to save me some $$.) When that failed, Zach explained in detail how he'd call in a second tech, go onto the roof and snake it from a vent. I even told Zach it was too dark and raining outside and I was 100% OK with doing it tomorrow, but he refused and said he wanted it done for me today. He gave me the cost and kept me updated on every step, and an hour later, I had a clear drain for $300. (Which is a damn-sight better than the thousands the other company wanted!)

And for all you other women who have experienced workers kinda dismissing you or assuming you don't know what you're talking about, I want to add that Zach never spoke down to me when we discussed the technical side of things and he took all my input into consideration, and before he left, we discussed how my plumbing ran and how it all tied together in case I had another problem. You can't ask for better customer service than that.

Sulley was able to come out same day within an hour an assess my problem, gave me a quote & was very professional & knowledgeable, he showed up with a mask. This company should be called the Making It Right Guys!
They came out this past Saturday while other companies said they were off for the 4th of July weekend! When they initially came out we were told it was due to our septic tank being filled. So my husband immediately called to have our septic cleared out. Well our septic was not full but it did get cleared out (the guy wa already here). Our line was still blocked. So we called JC plumbing to have them send our plumber back out. You know others would have complained but not these guys!!! I so appreciated we were not charged initially because they thought it was the septic. Other plumbers expect a MINIMUM charge for just coming out!!! By the way JC plumbing is way cheaper that provides A++++ quality work!!!
It is difficult to find a company with such honesty and integrity!!!! My husband is not so easily impressed by service people BUT he made it clear Make sure YOU KEEP THEIR NUMBER!!!

This is by far my best experience with a plumber. I had a mainline stoppage which I had a clean out installed couple of months ago to fix any stoppage. But finding out that the company...Contreras Plumbing did a half ass job so I called and spoke to Yvonne and she was able to help me ASAP and had James come out and clear the problem. James had the same reaction I had when I encountered the poor job that Contreras Plumbing did. James gave me a quote on installing a proper clean out and gave me great advice. I have gone to JC for three different problems in my house (garbage disposal, sink, and toilet). Every time they have been able to identify the problem very efficiency and provide a detailed explanation of what is wrong, possible reasons as to how it got that way, the different methods to fix it, and their recommendation. In addition, they always broke down their pricing. Out of all of the people who have come and worked on my appliances, Elijah stood out to me as he was extremely kind, very efficient, prepared, accommodating, and he acted like he had all the time in the world to help me! If I could however, give 4.5 stars in stead of five I would because their organization has failed them a few times. Locating my invoice in their system was difficult as well as their estimated times have always been at least 30 minutes off. While I have talked to a few different facilitators, Yvonne has always been very helpful and and a great communicator. Overall I will always go to JC to my plumbing needs as long as I am in Stockton.

Jc Sewer & Drain are the best! About a year ago they installed a gas line for my dryer and last week they installed a new toilet in my bathroom. Professional from beginning of the job to the end! They respond quickly, call to update on arrival times, they are priced fairly, and they have always clearly explained what each job entailed. The inspector for my gas line permit came out to approve the finished job, asked who had done the job, and then said of course, he should have known, because they do good work! I highly recommend this company and if I could give ten stars, I would!

Excellent customer service! Our water heater went out on Sunday, and they sent someone out to by noon to see what was going on. We were given a quote and told what to expect. We scheduled service for between 9-10am next day, and Jacob showed up at 9am. He was a very polite professional, and answered all the questions that I had along the way. I did not get to experience any repair work with them because I am a renter and my owner chose a different company. However I do want to say that upon meeting them I knew they would be trustworthy and honest people. I definitely would have chosen them for the repair if had the chance. I love love this company! Best service we have ever received from any of the companies that we have used to service our rental in Stockton. He saved us probably 10,000$ or more by fixing a septic system we didn't even know we had. If it had failed we would have to hook up to the city costing us a huge amount of time and money. These guys are honest, which I really appreciate being that I bought a home with roots in my sewer pipes. These guys have come out twice for me and got roots out, and another two times to snake a drain, (my darn hair is too much apparently!)

My toilet started making a loud whistling high pitched noise every time I would flush it. I called Jc Sewer & Drain and they sent Sulley out. He tried adjusting it for me to see if that would take care of the problem to save me the cost of having to replace the part. He told me if it started to do it again to call them and he would come back out and replace it. Unfortunately it did start up again. He came back out the very next day first thing and replaced it. I'm replacing my main water supply line. I know the length, depth of the existing water line, and replacement materials I want to be used. It's a small job (not a large one) I call to get an estimate and they insist that they still need to come out to give an estimate, and that will be an $85 charge. Perhaps they need to (re)measure the length in order to start the job, sure, but for an estimate (no service)? Hard pass on that, no thanks.

Very reliable company. Jeff came by to repair my moms clogged toilet. He was very honest and capable plumber whom solved the clogged piping using the proper snake device. The previous plumber told me that I would need to redo our sewage system that would cost thousands. I was suspicious.. so I contacted JC plumbing for second opinion. I am so glad I did. JEFF came by within an hour of my call. Very professional and knew what needed to be done.

James is the best plumber I know. Trust and Honesty are the most important attributes to me and James is both. I called other plumbers and they dance around the price even after I gave them pictures of job site and materials. This is a give away that they are not forthcoming and trying to maximize their margins. I believe if you've been in the field long enough, you know what estimate to give to the customers right away, not days later trying to figure out how to pad those margins. Everyone has to make a living, but let's be reasonable. I had other plumbers quote me labor to install water softener that costs 3 times the price of the water softener itself while James quoted me was very reasonable. This company was great to do business with! I have had to deal with a few plumbing companies in the past and they always were very vague about how, and what they were going to do to fix my plumbing issue. These guys came out and straight away laid out in detail their course of action. In the past other plumbers just said yeah we can run the snake and see what happens, that will be a $200 fee off the back. And then another $150 per hour of work come to find that just running their snake for two and a half hours did not fix my problem, it just made it less worse.

These guys came in and didn't just run the snake to see what happens, they did everything they could, they did everything needed, to get my plumbing system cleared and running perfect in only an hour and a half. I cannot express how thankful I am for them, and what they did for my family. Not only were they fast to get me in their schedule, they also come out to their scheduled appointment on time. Their pricing, customer service, technicians, were MUCH friendlier than any other plumbing company I have ever done business with.

Wow I am impressed. I called them cause in my rental in Lathrop the bathroom faucet needed to be replaced. So I got a schedule for their tech to come out and look at the problem thank goodness it was not that big of a deal. Instead of having my tenants repair it I opt to call someone out.I didn't want to take a chance and just let someone more knowledgeable to get the job done right.

Well when the guy got out there he called me right away to let me know what was the problem. He even offered to see if he can find the part and a local home depot, but with my luck he had to order the part it took only a couple of days before he was able to install the part. As soon as he got the part in the install went fast.

The people on the phone are very professional ! ! I would highly recommend them if you need any plumbing work done in the Central valley area. I love the fact that it is a family owned ! ! As for the price it was cheaper than I thought.

Had an emergency call first thing Monday morning with a block in the main sewer line. Elisha was there within a few hours. My husband had someone come out yesterday to work on our tankless water heater (because they claim they have the knowledge to do so). The person that was sent out took a look at the heater for 5-15 min and apparently realized he did not know what he was doing and after a phone call notified my husband that he was going to send someone else out. Welllllll, my husband had to miss a day of work and the water heater is continuing to leak possibly damaging more extensively as we waste time. My husband instructed them not to send anyone else out.

He then decided to call the company and the receptionist/ secretary was completely rude. My husband was explaining the situation and she claims they do know how to work on water heaters, but someone more experienced can come back out. They claim to change the part was going to take 5-6 hours after quoting 2. They charge $125 an hour. Wouldn't they know the right amount of time it would take after you let them know of the service you need EXACTLY, if they are experienced??

So, after not coming to an agreement about the situation and my husband trying to make his point across. She says, sir, instead of arguing with me, shouldn't you be trying to find someone else? Well, we wouldn't need that to happen if they had provided excellent customer service to begin with.

Overall horrible impression and if you need some work on your tankless heater DEFINITELY do not call them. They have no clue on what they are doing.

I solicited estimates from three plumbing contractors to replace a 100 year old, failing sewer line in my back yard. JC Sewer and Drain's estimate was significantly lower than the other two. But I chose them more because of the good impression that I had of James, the owner, as he talked to me about a variety of options thWat I could consider.

James helped me to down size the project to address the worst part of the old line. My impression was that my satisfaction was a high priority for him and he did not push for the larger project which would have brought him more profit.

James and Garrett completed the work in two days, as promised. The work was done efficiently, and they kept a very neat work site. Communication with Yvonne in the office was great as she always gave me a heads up when James was on the way to my house.

I am very satisfied with the project and will have no hesitation to use JC down the road when I tackle additional phases of this project or any other plumbing work that needs to be done. Thank you.

After calling corporate to smaller family-owned plumbing companies; JC plumbing was the only company that willingly took on our projects. I was nervous and stressed that we wouldn't find a plumber to do the repairs needed before we moved in; we had wasted a few weeks already with at least two companies that came to assess the project and wasted many calls out to companies over the phone explaining what we might need done. After we thought we exhausted all our options we called JC and from the first few minutes of meeting Jeffery on our first appointment, I texted my husband and said, I think we found our plumber!!!, and by the middle of my walkthrough with Jefferey, I texted back, we found our plumber!!!!!!!! By the end of the walkthrough Jeffrey gave me an appointment date to start the work. I closed the door and all the worry and anxiety I had over our plumbing issues were washed away by Jeffery's calm demeanor as he didn't seem fazed at doing the job and I was confident he would do the job well as I picked up his eye for detail and pointing out things that needed to be repaired (all of which the previous two companies had mentioned as well). Jefferey and Sully (which at the time was assisting) put together new plumbing in our laundry room which fixed the little hot water that was coming in from the old rusty pipes they also connected the plumbing to the drain pipes which they discovered were never connected to the main sewer line. On another time our toilet was leaking and as Jefferey was making the repair, our old already broken cast iron pipe broke off, which turned out to be more involved to repair than initially thought. After that first visit, we have called JC for a handful of return visits for more repairs, each time they arrive when they say they will and they are here until the job is done. On our most recent repair it was Sully and Rex, they were here most of the day removing rusted galvanized drain pipes and replacing with new pipes; by the end of the day, it was dark, misty, and they looked exhausted. These guys are skilled, honest, hardworking, pleasant, and willing. The ladies that answer calls, book appt's, and give ETA's are amazing, too. Forever grateful to the team at JC plumbing for making our century old house feel newer, safer, and an enjoyable home.

JC Sewer and Drain Plumbing came out the day after I called due to a recurrent shower leak. They were friendly, polite, careful and explained things to myself and my mother. They explained what the issue was and what it would take to fix it. They went to the store immediately, came back with what they needed and did the repair thoroughly and neatly. They guaranteed the work for at least a year and encouraged us to reach out if there were any issues. We will connect with this company again if/when needed. James and Kevin were up front and communicative when explaining what was happening and why, and also were aware of our animals in the house and kept and eye out for them, so they didn't run out of an open door, etc. No leaks so far!! I have a rental home in Stockton, my daughters college house. We live in the bay area. My tenants had a serious water leak under the kitchen sink. Jake arrived on time and diagnosed broken pipes unfortunately inside wall and outside stucco walls. He set up a time with my tenants and made the extensive repairs.
My tenants had another leak under sink and Jake made a return visit two weeks later. He located a defective water hose going from dishwasher to garbage disposal. Rather than charging me for the return visit he showed my tenant the 10.00 Home Depot hose and showed them where it needed to be replaced. Jake did not charge me for the return or advice. Truly a company with great customer service and ethics.

JC is my go to for anything plumbing related, specifically James who is nice, professional, and knowledgeable, I've yet to throw him a curve ball though I'm sure he'd figure it out. What is there not to say about this company! Communication is so important to me and this company does it very well. Jake was great, very kind and friendly and answers all your questions. Installed our toilets with no problems.

I called it 2:20 on Thursday for my leak in a galvanized iron pipe. Office staff said they would be there between 3:00 and 5:00. At 5:10 they called from a different number which I didn't answer indicating they were not coming. I called and left a message Thursday evening. I called Friday morning no answer. I received a call on Friday morning at 7:50 saying they could be here between 9:00 and 10:00 this morning. I received a call at 9:05 saying they could not find the address which they had incorrect. However Garrett the tech was nearby. I showed him the water main shut off which was available and the leak which was already dug out. You shut the water main off. He approached me at 9:30 to say he would cut a piece of iron pipe out and place PVC and a PVC coupler was $200 okay? So he started cutting the pipe at 9:30 and was done at 9:40 when he turned the water back on for a test. No leaks. At 9:50 he approached me to collect the fee of $200. After paying he left at 10:00. The PVC coupler and pipe cost less than $10 retail. The hourly rate is $160. So you can do the math.

Giving James 5 golden stars!

I called him on Friday morning to see if he could do an estimate and he was able to see my parents house as early as Saturday morning. Mind you, I have called SEVERAL places to see if I get A FREE estimate but the other businesses wouldn't be able to come until late Monday early Tuesday. I even had one other business that wanted $99 for 1 estimate! Wthck, the work James did totaled to be 100 bucks! He was even nice enough to tighten the backyard pipe as a complementary service. (We couldn't tighten it ourselves because we didn't have the proper equipment.)

James arrived Monday evening to do the work. It was quick and professional. My mom was super happy that her leaking pipe was finally fixed. I will DEFINITELY be recommending anyone that needs plumbing service to James. I have had other plumbers that forgot about the appt. or just ignored our service call. But, not James. THANK YOU!

Sunday morn, and I tried to adjust a 'running' toilet and of course I made it worse.. Came to Yelp and found Jc Sewer & Drain Who SAVED THE DAY!! ON A SUNDAY!!! Very nice lady on the phone, and she sent me Jeffery. JEFFREY IS AWESOME!! They fit-me in within the hour (think I got lucky there) and I was back in business within an hour. Cost EXTREMELY reasonable (especially for a Sunday). I now have Jc Sewer on my 'emergency list' for home plumbing issues. They are now my GO TO Plumbers!

We had an issue with the water supply to our new dishwasher and it was causing a problem and error code. We were suspicious of the water supply after looking up the code online.

We knew that we needed a plumber to check it out. We called on JC Plumbing. They've been out to our home on a few occasions for three toilet installations. We really appreciate Jake for his professionalism, workmanship, and straightforward business manner. So when this problem in the kitchen happened, it was a relief to know that we could call on them. Jake came out again. He found the problem, got the necessary parts, and restored our water supply, and likely spared our new appliance from doom.

Highly recommend this company! There are plenty of 5-star reviews and I want to add one more. They are deserving. From my call to schedule an appointment to the completed work, this company was very professional in every aspect. I didn't get the name of the person answering my call but she was very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Sully arrived on time, wore a mask, and was very respectful and professional. Great first impression, easing my anxiety when something in my 100 year home needs to be repaired. Home repairs are always expensive and you cringe when you get the estimate but I felt Sully was honest and fair and completed the job expeditiously. I will be calling JC Sewer for any work needed in the future.

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a house with a lot of plumbing problems and he came out to diagnose the problems and give us an estimate. Some of them were simple fixes that he did on the spot and didn't charge us for. He certainly got his money out of us later so maybe that was part of the deal but he was straight forward with his pricing and how long he thought each project would take him. We've already contacted him after the first round of fixes and will likely do so if we need a plumber again in the future.

I had a 2 year old tankless hot water heater on a new construction home that went out. JC Sewer and Drain went to bat for me with the hot water heater manufacturer to have them send out a new hot water heater (under warranty) after the manufacturer kept wanting to send out various parts and play the guessing game while also sending the wrong parts delaying the fix. I felt I had an advocate with JC Sewer and Drain and that their goal was to get me hot water again ASAP. They did a lot of behind the scenes work to make it all happen and it is very much appreciated. James, Jeff and Sully were all very professional and helpful and we are very excited to have hot water once again!

Another good experience with JC Sewer & Drain. Zach came to troubleshoot a slow draining toilet (they'd sent someone last week who had got it to flush fine but didn't pursue it further, so it kept doing it). This time he tested it, augured it and cleared the soft blockage. At our request he also replaced the old fashioned float ball valve (with a new cylinder one). No more plunging, no more leaky valve. This guy is sharp and knows his stuff, explains things, respectful. My only complaint was I had to clean up dirt (?) off the bathroom floor after he left. They also put the service fee we paid last week toward the cost of this repair, since it wasn't resolved the first time. Appreciate dealing with honest, trustworthy plumbers who do a good job.

Lightning strikes 3 times !!!

Rick came out at noon and installed a custom toilet fantastic job..... then 2 hours later I thought there was a little leak from underneath...... oops my bad.... we found that the toilet was fine which I knew that it was fine but I just didn't understand where the water was coming from..... turns out the sewer needed snaking again I mean brilliant they could have taken us for another hundred bucks but he didn't...... you're as awesome as you sounded as I was listening to all your conversations with my wife ......thanks Rick.

I called JC sewer & drain plumbing on a Monday and told the receptionist what was needed and made an appointment for the following Sunday morning. She told me that this way the technician would finish the job the same day. She said that they charge $45 for the visit but that they would remove the charge if hired. The technician came on Sunday and he told me that a permit was needed but that they would request it. I asked him if they charged to do it and he said no. He didn't do anything. He gave me a quote which included replacing a pipe and the permit. I rescheduled for 11/27 and received confirmation emails the same day. I wanted to make sure the appointment was scheduled so I called the office. The woman who answered assured me that it was scheduled for the 27th. A technician came and replaced two elbow pipes the following Tuesday without my consent. I had the gate open as some other contractors were doing some work. I was assured both times that they would call me 30 minutes in advance before the technician arrived but nobody called. I found out that they charged me via email. I contacted them and asked them to explain why they went and did what they did without me or a representative being present. Finally yvonne identified herself as the owner. I asked her to answer and she did not do it. I asked her to break down the charges and she finally said after several times that X amount was for the work and y amount for the permit. She charged $200+ just to get the permit after I specifically asked if the charged and was told no. She also said that the technician had made several trips and that it would have been $2700 to replace the pipe in question. The area was already excavated so he didn't do much. I thought at first that they had bad communication within their business but it seems that it is a con. BE CAREFUL

Response to Yvonne: People be careful. The review is not misleading. It is the truth. The technician that was sent on the Sunday spent less than ten minutes. The technician that did the work spent approximately 2 hours. I have witnesses. I don't know how long they spent getting the permit but the business told me originally they did not charge to get it. I would not have agreed to pay $200+ for them to get it. The permit has a total fee of $120 and they plumber charged $300+. I asked the owner to give me the permit number but she ignored my request. It must be assumed that she thought there was no way for me to find out but I have a copy. I expected the pipe in question to be replaced with new pipe for the given original quote. It was not replaced and the owner told me that they would charge $1400 more to replace it. Nobody would hire someone to do something not knowing how much it is going to cost. The technician I talked to was friendly and that is the only positive thing I have to say about them. If you decide to gamble then put everything in writing. The business is supposed to be paperless but don't fall for it. You must ask for a written quote.

A nightmare fixed by JC Sewer & Plumbing! I had water leaking behind the shower wall and even from beneath the bathtub onto the floor. I originally spoke with a handyman, who completely stressed me out and probably on purpose, so he can hike up the amount of money he would charge. I am a woman and did work in construction for some years, so I knew he was full of it. I made a few more calls, and nobody was available. I'm so thankful I found JC here on Yelp, and read they had great reviews, and rightfully so! They had a tech named Jake available and I was so much more at ease after he visited! He was so calm and confident of what the issue was, he told me it was a pretty common problem, and said it could be repaired pretty easily. He was upfront and transparent, he let me know what the charges would be before doing the work. He sent photos before and after it was all done as well, which also gave me peace of mind. A very honest plumbing company, which is rare to find. I highly recommend them! I'm sure all of their techs are great, but I will always request for Jake if I ever need anything. Great communication and service! A++++

This business was such a great find. Honest dependable and outstanding. Called them again as my water heater was spewing water all over. They give you a arrival window and you can count on it. They also let you know when they are on the way. Came out on a Sunday and then again on a Monday to finish up as we needed some major parts. Elisha came out on Monday. RE: Broken 90 pipe from roots. Thank you James and Abe!!! It took me a while to find these guys! Off the bat, James identified the problem quickly and was very honest about the pricing and the time it will take. It's difficult to find an honest handyman through my years. James and Abe were very professional and did not waste anytime. Within 1.5 hours, the problem was fixed. Amazing customer service! I found them on Yelp and they were at the top of the list when I searched for plumber. I noticed the rating was 5 star so I called them. I instantly realized why they have a 5 start rating. The person that answered my call asked me what the problem was and immediately started giving me advise on what to look for to see if it was an issue the city would come fix for free. What business would give you advise on getting your issue fixed for free rather than sending someone out?? I was impressed and I ended up having to have them come out to my house anyways. James came out earlier than I expected which was great given the situation. He took time and explained everything to me and was honest the entire time. Never did either of them try to sell me on services I didn't need. Great customer service isn't common these days but you guys have it dialed in! Thanks again!
