Had our master shower drain back up with family in town. Called Iggy through Yelp and had someone nearby. The plumber came over 30 minutes later and within an hour of calling the drain was unclogged. Prompt Knowledgeable friendly service. Don't see that much these days. Highly recommend. Will definitely call for future issues.

We experienced two stopped up toilets, bath tub and shower the day before leaving on vacation. After trying every method on YouTube without success, I had to call an expert.
Called several so-called 24-hr plumbers at midnight. Two never called back. One guy said the earliest he could come was 8 am (I could tell I woke him up).
Iggy of Iggy's Plumbing immediately answered my call. He apologized that he couldn't come out until 5 am because he had two emergency calls--houses flooded by broken pipes.
When Iggy arrived, he was pleasant despite working all night, and quickly found the solution to our problem. Soon, water was flowing freely.
I probably/hopefully won't have to call a plumber too many times in my life. Now that I've found Iggy, I won't call anyone else. I can't say enough good things about Iggy, his work ethic and great customer service!

Our bathrooms and showers/bathtub was backed up and was looking around to get plumber to come out asap. All other plumbing company has no available until the next day. One company had availability today, but was going to charge me $300+. Called Iggy's Plumbing - called me back with 10 minutes. Told them our problem, and they were out within the hour! Now thats what I call super fasssst service. Technician fixed the problem within 30 minutes and did for half the price! Great service and affordable! Thank you!! Will definitely use again.

I have a water filter attached to my kitchen sink and every time we turned on the water it leaked out to our backyard through the pipes. Basically our pipes were clogged. He explained the different methods of repairing clogs based on what was clogging your drain. Our drain was clogged with grease, he fixed it and then he showed us how to prevent it from happening in the future. He arrived quickly and I highly recommend amend their service.

Iggy did some excellent work for me and gave an estimate on the rest of the job. I then spent about 3 weeks trying to get him to schedule and come back to finish what he had started. No response. If he didn't want the job, I don't understand why he bothered to bid it. If something came up, he should have at least replied and told me he wasn't going to do the job. A good plumber, but bad follow through.

I don't have enough good things to say about Ignacio and Iggy's Plumbing.

I had a clean-water valve under an upstairs bathroom sink break pretty catastrophically late yesterday evening. The only way to get it to stop spraying water all over the place was to shut off the main water to the house. Since it was after hours, I texted Ignacio; he got right back to me, I sent photos, and he gave me an initial diagnosis and estimate.

He showed up first thing this morning masked and vaccinated, kindly took off his shoes, and got right to work. He solved the problem very quickly and charged me less than his estimate. I would totally hire him again.

My dad had the main water valve on his house repaired yesterday and couldn't say enough good things about Iggy's plumbing. Very competent and professional, the fix took about an hour and we were charged exactly what we were quoted for quality workmanship. Very friendly service, and a pleasure to work with. He arrived an hour later than originally scheduled, but he notified my dad way ahead of time, so it wasn't at all a problem and we appreciate the great communication! I am so glad that I went with Iggy's Plumbing. I looked at the yelp reviews and decided to take a chance by calling the company. When I called, I actually spoke to the owner, Iggy. He gave me a reasonable quote price over the phone and scheduled an appointment with me within days.

Iggy showed up within the 1st hour of the 2 hour window. When he showed up he was very courteous and indicated what he would be checking out. While he was assessing my sink (air gap) issue, he was able to identify the issues rather quickly and fix it with a breeze.

Not only did he let me know why I was having issues with the air gap and explained the process, he even gave me additional information on great cleaning products for sinks and other surfaces as it relates to water marks.

He called back came and checked our our problem (wearing masks) left then texted me an estimate. I called Iggy to help my elderly parents get their main waterline pipe from their water meter in their front yard to their house fixed. Apparently the roots from their tree in the front yard broke the pipe.

The summary is that Iggy did an amazing job! My parents were very, very impressed with his hard work and commitment to get the job done and done well. They and I were very appreciative of his responsiveness and kindness in working late and early.

If you want the details...I called Iggy at 645pm, right before he was going to be done for the day at 7pm. He answered right away and provided a quote within 10 minutes based on the description of the issue that the county water inspector provided my parents and a couple of pictures I sent over to him via the phone.

We decided to do the work and he was at my parents' house within 30 minutes as he estimated. And although I wasn't available as I had originally told him when he arrived, he got in touch with my parents and started the work. At this point it was already getting dark, but he had his flood lights. After digging out the area, he found that the neighbor's pipe was leaking as well which had flooded the work area in my parents' yard. So he had to call the county to get the neighbor's water turned off to be able to work on my parents pipe. As a result, he had to come back the next day which he did first thing in the morning as promised and fixed the pipe which included cutting the tree root out. Most importantly he tested the initial fix and found a minor leak which he promptly fixed. He provided a 3 year warranty on the work.

What a great guy! I would highly recommend Iggy to anyone especially if you live in the Elk Grove area since he is relatively nearby. Just a note, I did call a number of other companies that night and they were all closed or I got an answering service or if they were open, the person who took my call never called back that night...although they all advertised emergency and after hours service and support. Maybe they got so big I got lost in the bureaucracy or this job wasn't worth their effort?

If you want a great plumber who will treat you and your loved ones with respect and care and will work hard to get the job done properly, in a timely fashion, and honor his commitments, you should call Iggy!!!!

Iggy is the best plumber in Elk Grove! Not only is he reliable, but he is kind, knowledgeable, and fair with pricing. He installed our garbage disposal very quickly. He also came to look at our plumbing because we thought we had a clogging issue and wanted the mainline snaked. It turned out it was a toilet issue. Not only did he educate us about what was wrong, but he didn't even charge us for looking at the plumbing since he didn't end up needing to snake the mainline. What a nice guy. After receiving several replies and quotes from plumbers and then checking their reviews. My husband and I decided to go with Iggy's. Again my yelp people had it right. For one Iggy was one of the first to get back to me with a reasonable quote. He was able to make it by the next day within the time frame provided. He was honest and even gave some tips and suggestions to my husband and the quote was what we were charged. We have an older house with old pipes and I can honestly say if we have any other issues I wouldn't hesitate using their service again and recommending him to family and friends.

I contacted this plumbing company on Sunday Mother's Day, asking for them to return my call I waited three days. Still no return call. Luckily, my request was only for a leaky faucet in the kitchen and to replace a old worn out shut off valve in the backyard.
The number I called was on the yelp website, so there was no excuse that I obtained the wrong number.

In order for this company to survive they need to know the following,

1. Customer service is a priority. messages should be returned within 24 hours. Even if it's just a simple, hello message, sorry we haven't gotten to you but we will return your call as soon as possible.

2. This business needs to understand that it is not the only plumbing company in town, and that they are competing against 100 others.

It's my desire to see this company succeed, however with poor customer service their life time is limited.

I called Iggy because one of our rentals was having a problem with no hot water. He was very prompt (same day) with coming out and diagnosing the problem. He not only told me what part went out but advised me to call the manufacturer because the water heater and parts should still be under warranty. He was right the company shipped me the part next day for free so I didn't have to spend any additional money for parts, so he actually saved me money and he fixed the water heater within an hour. We will definitely use iggy again for any plumbing issues that arise. His prices were also very reasonable.

We didn't use this service but I just have to leave a review nevertheless. I called Iggy's because our water heater was acting weird and making loud banging noises. There was no answer so I left a message. After an hour of no call back, I called another company and spoke to someone in the office who scheduled an appointment for the following day.

Iggy's called back a while later and I explained that I'd already called and scheduled an appt with another company. I asked if maybe he could make it out today. He asked what the problem was so I explained what I thought the problem was. He asked a few questions then suggested I contact the manufacturer to get the part sent to me which would save me money because anyone coming out to fix it would cost me a few hundreds at least.

We did what he suggested and are getting the defective part sent to us plus all labor from a local company they contract with covered.

The difference between Iggy's and the other company was that when I called Iggy's I ended up speaking to someone who does the work and therefore could help me without even coming out. The other company scheduled an appt right away even tho I told them the same things I told Iggy. I spoke to office employees versus an actual professional. We made sure to call Iggy's back and thank him for his advice. He didn't get our business today but he will the next time we have problems and anyone else's if they ask us for recommendations.

I had the main water line break at my house on Sunday. Very happy with Iggy's Plumbing! Paid $50 dispatch fee to one of the big plumbing outfits in Elk Grove and was quoted a $500 repair, yikes! Called Iggy for a second quote. Iggy answered the phone first thing in the morning, I text him photos of the repair to our washer's cold water valve, he sent a quote that was significantly less just minutes later. He did the repair later this afternoon and saved us hundreds! The other outfit told us we needed to change the hot and cold valve...even though only the cold side was leaking. He even replaced the flapper in our toilet for no charge! I love supporting local small business and even more so when they are as awesome as Iggy's Plumbing! Thank you Iggy!

Iggy doesn't really need me to add to the chorus of reviews already here but I just had to add my review after watching this man fix my leaking water main. Called him around 9:00am and he stopped by my home on his way to another job nearby to provide an estimate. His quote was very good so I informed him I wanted him to do the work. I didn't think he'd fix it the same day as he already had other work to do that day. He said he could come back after a few other appointments he already had and he arrived at 3:00pm. This job was more work than expected as finding leaks can be time consuming and a lot of digging (deep digging). Iggy was literally in a 3 foot hole in the ground bailing water out that kept seeping in from the adjacent ground which was saturated due to me not fixing this promptly like I should have. He finished about 10:00pm and was soaking wet from head to toe and covered in mud. This is no exaggeration. He had to hose himself off on my font lawn. He never once told me it would cost more money since it was more time than he was expecting. Old school man of his word, he stood by his quote. In fact he never even mentioned it. It was I who insisted more money was deserving. I did pay him more than his quote as this was clearly a lot of grueling work. As a fellow old school dude I really appreciated Iggy's work ethic, business ethics and the quality of his work. In this day and age there aren't many stand up guys like this anymore. I never leave reviews unless service is exceptional. Used Iggy's for a sudden water heater failure. The unit was 13 years old, so I thought it would have to be replaced. (They don't build them like they used to.) Most places would probably try to take advantage of you and try to sell you a new heater to make the most money. Not Iggy. He explained to me that unless it's leaking it can probably be fixed. So I went with his suggestion and it was just a minor thing that was easily changed out and repaired. Saved me a ton of money. He did it quickly within a day. Also gave me suggestions for saving money in the future when I do need to change out the unit. Will definitely be using Iggy again. He's my goto plumber now.

So grateful for Iggy! He responded to my yelp text within 20 min and was able to come the next day and accommodated my work schedule. My regular plumber was unavailable so I felt I was really taking a risk using a new plumber but he quickly set my mind at ease. The drain pipe under my sink had been previously fixed by my usual plumber but Iggy saw that the pipe was previously cut just a bit short and the other plumber had patched it up with putty instead of recutting a piece that fit right causing the drain to leak again. Iggy cut a new piece of drain pipe and didn't even use putty. In just 10 min it was all fixed and done! Thanks Iggy for a wonderful job. I now have a new favorite plumber!!

My husband was replacing a toilet in our second bathroom. After removing the old one he found that we had a leak. The first plumber wanted to charge us the same price for coming out, again, even though the noise in the kitchen drain returned a couple of days later. Had a big leak on our kitchen sink , after coming home from a long day at work and a husband who recently had surgery and can't do much because of his surgery ,is all you don't want come home to.We turned off our water and can't do anything that night.
First thing in the morning I called Iggy and thank God he was able to come and look at it in an hour,very prompt,very professional,tackled the work,and went beyond his way to get it fixed, very clean job. I thought we would pay an arm and a leg, but we felt it was very reasonable.

ALL THE STARS.

We had a simple problem, 1 blocked mixing valve that prevented hot water from getting from our water heater to our faucets.

The previous day, we got a quote from a large well-known plumbing company. That company took 3 hours to give a ridiculously high quote for things that were 100% unnecessary, and messed things up along the way.

Enter Iggy's the next day to the rescue!
- They were soo respectful with our home. They removed their shoes each time they went in and out without my asking, had their masks on the whole time, didn't smoke or cuss on our property (every other worker recently has??), and even noticed our dog bed and recommended better dog-resistant parts for our outdoor spout issue
- Within 5 minutes they diagnosed the hot water problem, and within 15 they were replacing the valve. Less than 2 hours start to finish, they removed the valve, replaced with new piping, insulated it, cleaned up, and we have hot water to the whole house again! All much cheaper than the other quote.
- They also addressed some of the lies the other company told us, and were clearly knowledgeable and advised us on how things were actually working, and in what good condition our hot water heater was in.

They're not super responsive via text/phone, but they do good, quick, courteous, decently-priced work.

Saturday We discovered the problem at 2:00 pm. Realized we couldn't fix it ourselves so called Iggy's at 3:00pm. Plumber arrived at 5:20 pm the appointment time and fixed the problem. Very reasonable charge. I will definitely use them in the future.

While installing a camera in my back yard the security company was drilling and hit a water line and caused water to spray everywhere and inside the walls. I had to turn off my water and while other places said it would take 1-2 days to get someone out iggy's plumbing was able to send someone out that same day fix the waterline. I had a wonderful experience with this company and will be my goto plumber every time I need one. Great customer service and I will definitely refer them to family and friends.

Had an emergency and had to shut off our water in a Saturday. We called Iggy's and they answered and said they could be out in two hours. Showed up when they said they would and pretty reasonably priced for a Saturday emergency. Very knowledgeable and fixed the shower. Iggy is our go-to guy for all things plumbing. He's knowledgeable, reasonable, and super clutch in emergent situations.

We've had a few projects with him, including changing a part for our water heater, replacing our shower heads and cartridges in 3 bathrooms, changing the shut-off valve and water supply line for our toilet. He's always been really prompt and courteous in his service, and although it's 2019 and this should be standard(!!!), he's always been kind and respectful to me in our interactions, unlike many other contractors/handymen who I've interacted with.

Honestly I don't really want to post this review because I don't want Iggy to be SO busy he doesn't respond to our calls, but he's probably a good enough guy to still make time for the loyal clients. Thanks iggy!

We noticed a leak in the garage wall this morning . My hubby turned off the water and called Iggy's plumbing. They were here by lunchtime and were able to determine both upstairs bathrooms were leaking due to faulty work from a previous contractor. They repaired both bathrooms , turns out to have been toilet installation issues and inadequate piping previously installed. Our bathrooms were back in working order by dinnertime. We had a busted pipe in our wall on Saturday, July 1st. Our initial calls to several plumbers on Saturday afternoon garnered no response. We found someone to come out on the July 4th, only to be told that he couldn't fix the problem. We then called several other plumbers and were told by all of them that it would be days for them to respond out. Fortunately my husband found the reviews for Iggy on Yelp. Upon calling him, Iggy rearranged his schedule to come out at his earliest convenience. He did a great job and within a short time we had water back into our house. He was courteous, on time, down to earth, and his price was very reasonable.

I hope we don't need him in the future, but if we do need a plumber he will be our first choice.

One afternoon I walked into my kitchen & it was flooded. I discovered a pipe under my sink had corroded. After cleaning up the lake in my kitchen & sticking a bucket under the sink, I was able to easily reach Iggy's Plumbing on the phone and relayed the problem. An appointment was scheduled for Iggy to fix it. I appreciated that he worked around my busy schedule, the appointment was just a couple days away and he was on time-at the start of the appointment window. During the appointment, he was very professional. He described the issue to me & fixed it at half the price I had anticipated paying. He also recommended replacing all the plumbing under the sink within the next 5 years as the pipes etc were on their last legs, but he didn't pressure me to have him do it now (27 year old house, original stuff from a builder that cut corners). I appreciated the heads up vs a hard sale to replace it now. I'll be calling Iggy for any future plumbing needs.

The pilot light on our water heater would not light. Iggy responded immediately to my call/text. He came on a Sunday. I don't believe there was any extra charge for a Sunday call as his fee was reasonable. He was very knowledgeable, providing useful info during the repair. His diagnosis was correct. We went out this morning at 6:30 AM to floating flowerbeds and water beginning to run down the walkway. It turns out our main water pipe coming into the house broke. We got the water shut off at the meter then began the search for a plumber. We called other companies but couldn't come out right away. Iggy's called and came when they projected. They found the break in the co joining elbow coming rom the pipe at the meter up into the pipe that attaches to the house. All work was done quickly and in the time frame projected. Let me start by saying that Iggy is really cool and great at what he does!
I contacted him for a quote first and then searched around on yelp and requested quotes from the competitors. His pricing was the best out of all the other guys. He showed up on time, did his thing, left within the hour and everything was working great.

Great service, punctual, clean, honest and a trust worthy person. I called since my garbage disposal was making funny noises, and it sounded like a loose screw. Iggy installed it about a year ago. He came and lo and behold, it was a small plastic shelf stop that got trapped in the disposal. It took him less than 15 minutes to solve the issue. He is a great person and excellent plumber. Professional and great customer service. I had a major clog in the mainline of my house that was causing backups to the showers and toilets. I saw the positive reviews here and gave Iggy's Plumbing a call. Within an hour, Iggy himself (the owner) was at my front door. From my description of the issues, he diagnosed it as a possible mainline clog and went to work. In less than an hour the mainline was clear and all drains and toilets were in working order. I contacted him to get a quote on a 50 gallon gas water heater (replacement). His estimate was comparable to the one that I decided to hire. The deal breaker was the permit for the water heater. Iggy told me that the permit was not necessary, and if I wanted one, it would cost me $200. The permit for a gas water heater is necessary so that the city inspector can inspect the workmanship and check for gas leaks. It is for the consumer's protection. If he was honest with me, I would have hired him based on his yelp feedback.

They called right back. Said they'd be here between 10-12 on Monday. They asked if they could come earlier if they were able. I said sure on Sunday night. They showed up at 8 AM!! Yeah. Drains all unplugged!! They quoted a great price. Got here... no clean out available. Had to crawl underneath the house, pull a fitting, dig a trench!! Much more work than just accessing a clean out. Iggy is incredible!!! I called him on a Sunday morning after reading so many great reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor. I was having a plumbing emergency and needed someone to look at my toilet and possibly replace it ASAP. He first offered up a few things for me to try but said he would be in my area if I absolutely wanted him to take a look. After much deliberation my husband and I decided we wanted to replace both toilets and be done with the headaches. I let Iggy know around 11 am that we bought the toilets. He had them both replaced by the time I got home from lunch with my girlfriend (around 2:30)!!! It turns out he had his work cut out for him as he had to pull 4 feet of grass weeds from our drain pipe. He said it probably took about 4 or 5 years for them to grow that way and was causing the ongoing toilet flooding problem. All these years we'd been blaming our 3 kids thinking they were using too much toilet paper.

We will definitely call on Iggy again for any future plumbing needs!

I had a water leak to my main water line to the house that was discovered after work on Friday night. I was given a referral from my regular plumber to call Iggy who would dig up and repair water lines in front yard after hours on weekend. I called and asked Iggy for a price estimate for the repair. As the other reviews have stated I took a couple pictures and texted them to Iggy who quickly responded with a fair price to complete the repair. The whole process to confirm an appointment and agreed price was less than 1/2 hour from my 1st contact with Iggy. His crew showed up 1/2 hour early and quickly dug up the leak and repaired the broken water line in a few hours. Very happy customer and will definitely use Iggy plumbing again in the future.

Trees are beautiful but their roots in your sewer system are not. 30+ years later my unexpected day arrived. Shower not draining, toilet not flushing all the while the hall bathroom was flooding. I wasn't sure who to call. I made a few calls but intuition said, 'call someone else'. I called Iggy's. The call was answered right away. They knew what the issue was. We're so glad we found him on yelp. We had gotten some mud decking in the drains from a previous bad construction and Iggy was able to clear it out. He explained everything he was doing and why so he made us feel very comfortable with the whole process. I also asked him about another issue about a spout and diverter. He gave us tips on what kind of spout to get, where we could find it, what pitfalls to avoid during installation. He was really professional and quick and we couldn't be more happy. We will definitely recommend him to others.

Side note: Just an example of the type of person he is, he took his shoes off outside before coming in. I'm not sure if his shoes were dirty and he noticed we had carpet or that we were an asian family who greeted him barefoot, but I appreciate that he did that.

Brother came out at midnight last night to replace to clear our main line. Sewage was coming out of the bathtub. My SO couldn't sleep through the stink so out came the famous Iggy. Our main line was clogged on a Saturday and I tried for a few hours on my own. Called my last plumber who handled the issue (Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain) who stated they are booked through the following Tuesday. I reminded them it's my main line; no sinks, bathrooms, washer, etc. can be used. They apologized they couldn't get to me sooner. I asked if they had a referral for me. They did, Iggy's Plumbing. I called Iggy's and they got back to me within 30 minutes when I explained the issue. He asked me to text my address to his phone number. He got back to me within 15 minutes and said he could make it me within 30 minutes and 1 hour and quoted a price. I said fine and he was here when promised. He solved the issue in a short time and even told me my issue (which I've had before) and showed me how to clean it out myself and even gave me the $5 item I would need to do the job. Now it's on me to remember what he told me. Iggy's is now on the top of my list for plumbers.

I would recommend Iggy to everyone ... his pricing is fair, he's very responsive, punctual and above all, honest. Last year (around the same time of the year lol), my husband accidentally broke some really old piping under our kitchen sink. Iggy was out the next afternoon, had it fixed up and charged us much less than any other plumber we got bids from. Fast forward to this year ... our kitchen faucet was leaking significantly, causing light flooding underneath. Ok, Iggy lives up to his reviews. At 10 pm, my shower bathtub knob broke! My water wouldn't turn off when I turned it. I had to shut off the main water valve to the house. We took apart the handle to try and figure it out and soon come to realize it was a bit more complicated than we thought. I needed it fix ASAP since I have a roommate and already going the whole night with no water (can't flush the toilets) was rough.

I called Iggy and one other guy to compare quotes and how soon they would be able to come out. They quoted me at about the same price, but Iggy said he could come as soon he finishes a job he was doing. The other guy said the next day.

Iggy was informative, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The worst part about needing a job done is waiting all sorts of hours for someone to come out. I'm so glad and so happy How fast Iggy was able to come. I would use him again. Thanks Iggy!

I stumbled across Iggy on yelp on a frantic night. My toilet was over flowing. Luckily Iggy answered the phone and came to the rescue. Turns out I needed a new toilet. I was told which brand to buy from Home Depot and they were able to pick up the toilet from Hope Depot and install it. They even took the old toilets. (Oh yea I ended up replacing both of the toilets). Great customer service. I will definitely continue to use Iggy's plumbing.

We get that Iggy's has many high ranking reviews. I'm sure they were deserved. When we had a water leak through our ceiling into our kitchen, we wanted to give our business to a local Elk Grove Plumbing business - hence Iggy's. Iggy came out, looked at everything (our entire kitchen ceiling was open), and told us that he'll get it repaired. He said he checked everything (which come to find out he didn't), repaired it, and told us (and I quote) If anything happens, call me, and I'll be back. This was on 11-16-18. Yesterday (11-28-16), the leak started again. I called our insurance adjuster, and he told me to call the plumber who did the work, ASAP. I did. I got his voice mail. He called back and initially said he'd be out today to fix it. After seeing the leak, he said he'd refer us to ANOTHER PLUMBER. Then he texted that he isn't doing anything. This is just a HORRID NIGHTMARE! If you do use Iggy's, just hope that nothing goes wrong.

Iggy did a great job. He was on time for the estimate, on time for the repair job as well. The job was to hook up out touch faucet, garbage disposal and Dishwasher. I had removed the faucet myself and had misplaced some parts, but iggy was able to get the faucet working and recommended how to get replacement parts for free. He's a very pleasant person as well and was very thorough and detailed in his work. His estimate was a bit more than other estimates, but I had a gut feeling about him after his estimate and my wife and I were very happy we chose him and satisfied with his work. He will be our go-to guy for any future plumbing needs for things I can't do.

I had a plumbing emergency at around 9pm on a weeknight, shortly after coming home from work. If I ran water or flushed anything from our second level, our first floor bathroom would flood, as well as the outside drain would pump toilet paper and other things into my front lawn. I called Iggy's, he quoted me a flat rate right away and came within 30 minutes. As soon as he arrived, he got straight to work. 30 minutes later we were back to normal AND he cleaned the mess that was in my front yard. I didn't even ask him to do that! Iggy was fast, friendly and priced great. We had a deep clog in in our kitchen pipes that I couldn't reach with my hand snake, so he brought his big electric one and knocked it out in about a half hour. He even gave me advice to prevent the problem from coming back later, instead of coming back when it did to charge me again, and offered to come back and fix it for free if it clogged again within the next week. I appreciate honestly like that so I'll be calling Iggy again if I have any plumbing problems.

We had a leaky gate valve at the houses water main entrance. Iggy was able to replace the valves and the piping quickly with good prices. I called around and got quotes and Iggy's was in the middle. Good prices for quick efficient work and excellent communication. He was able to come out within a day or two (called in the afternoon on Saturday and he came out on Monday morning). This wasn't a huge leak so it didn't require an immediate response. Highly recommended for those in Elk Grove. He was able to get to me fast!

Our toilet at work was clogged. We could not get the toilet to flush. We tried drano and a snake and could not get the toilet to unclog. We called Iggy's plumbing and they were able to come out within a few hours. The toilet had a paint pen lodged in the toilet that Iggy's plumbing was able to get to and pull out. We had an emergency late at night on Monday, looked on yelp and saw that Iggy was a 24/7 service, a bit skeptical since it seemed like he was the only one I decided to give it a shot since we had our bathroom and laundry room start to flood.

Amazed by how quickly Iggy responded, he was on the line with another customer when I called, but he was quick to text me and let me know. I explained to him what was happening and he gave me an estimated price if we wanted it fixed tonight or tomorrow (I appreciated the transparency and the markup for this emergency was more than warranted).

We decided this needed to be done asap and he let us know he was on his way and how long it would take. He kept us updated and arrived when he said he would. 30 minutes later he fixed the issue. I hope to not have to call him too often lol but if we ever have any more plumbing issues he's the first one we'll call! I sincerely recommend you give him a call if you have any plumbing needs!

We have used Iggy's services for 3 different times in the last 3 years. He installed both of our new toilets a couple years ago. Yesterday we had a drain problem with one of the toilets. As luck would have it He was just down the street and was at our house within 5 minutes to snake it. The bottom of my kitchen sink was leaking when I turned the water on. I couldn't determine the issue, watched a few videos and eventually gave up. I called Iggy and explained the issue. Two of our shower handles we're not working properly, one broke off and the other was difficult to operate. I requested a quote and got a response very quickly. The quote was reasonable and they were able to come out within a few hours.

Parts were replaced and repaired to our showers and now both work great.

5 STARS NO DOUBT!

We opted to use this service on a referral after a couple swings and misses with other plumbers. Iggy is the best of the best when it comes to an unassuming tradesman who knows his craft beyond reproach. I called and left a message which was promptly returned. I went over the issues I was having and he told me to text him a few pictures and he would get back to me with an estimate. I took a few shots and fired them off thinking it might be a while but no chance. I heard back in less than minutes and he gave me a rough quote. I called him back and we set up a time for the next day. He was running a little late and called to let me know. I realize this isn't a real big deal, yet so many times I've had appointments where the person isn't prompt and fails to communicate. Upon arrival he kicked off his shoes and got right to work. The issue, missed by two previous plumbers, was diagnosed in about minutes and he ran out to get the needed part. The install went smooth and has been 100% fixed to satisfaction for months. I also asked him to take a look at one of the toilets and he was able to install just the right part and make some adjustments to get it running perfectly. The really cool thing was he had absolutely no issue with me watching and asking questions. He took the time to explain everything and I was actually able to dial in the 3 other toilets in the house based on the instruction he provided. I initially was going to have him do all this but he told me just what to do and said it wasn't that hard if I wanted to do it myself. I saved a few bucks doing this and he was totally good with it. Actually he encouraged it. No doubt this is my new go to for any plumbing issues in the future.

A pipe in our laundry room started leaking late at night, and I was unable to get any of the emergency plumbing companies to come help us. This company was the only one where I could contact an actual plumber. While he couldn't get to us immediately, he did promise to be out first thing the next morning. When I finally got hold of our home warranty company, they wouldn't honor out of network service providers. Since we would need extensive drywall and flooring repair with the job that the warranty would cover, I had to cancel at the last minute. Iggy, what a standup guy. He's a great Elk Grove resource. He came out to our house to clear the sewer line. He was honest. He was fast. He was efficient. Would highly recommend him. And when asked if he could do some extra work, and that we would pay him for his time, he kindly replied that he didn't feel we needed it, and he didn't want to take our money. He could have just made some extra cash, and not said that. And for that, we decided to have him do the work anyway and pay him. You cannot buy that kind of loyalty. We will definitely use him again. Iggy was recommended by a friend of mine and also through my mommy group. There is a reason why he has so many 5 star reviews and I can tell you they are definitely well deserved. We texted him in the late morning to discuss what we needed done, was quickly given a quote and he was here in the afternoon and finished the job by evening time. Throughout the process he was very communicative, and his price was very reasonable. When he arrived he had his mask on, and removed his shoes. I am so grateful for this gesture. These days no one wears masks anymore and removing shoes??? Forget about it. He went above and beyond. He made sure the gas was turned back on and the pilot was lit. He also helped turn down the temp of the water... it's the little things that really matter. Found Iggy on Yelp and based on the reviews, decided to give him a try.

Excellent service. Had a leaky shower faucet and Iggy was able to determine the part and provide a quote after a quick photo, despite no brand name on the faucet. He said he used to work for a supply warehouse, so I'm sure it comes in handy. The last time I called a plumber for a leaking shower faucet, the plumber gave up after not being able to figure out the part and never came back, even though I still had to pay the service call fee.

Iggy finished the job quickly and courteously, giving advice along with the way. He cleaned up afterward and everything was back in working order in less than an hour.

I was very impressed. I'll definitely call him again for any plumbing needs.

I am super glad that I had asked Iggy to come out and fix my leaky faucet sink valve. We had a leaky sink and it was 9:00 at night. From the first moment I had contacted him through Yelp, Iggy was very professional and answered my concerns promptly. Good work but felt nickel and dimed on some items. I had $2000-3000 worth of work done to run some waterlines, a drain and vent in my kitchen remodel. All went well but when I needed the actual valves so I could access the water they came back out, did those and then I was handed a bill... No indication was made that this wasn't included in running the water lines. How else can I access the water without those and why not include those in the original quote?

This second one isn't a huge deal but they extended one hot water kine by about 1 foot. Since I have an old house and they didn't know what was behind the wall it was a $200+ amount of work even though it only took them 30 minutes to complete. They had seen behind this wall before and I provided pictures but they still wouldn't lower their old house pricing. Doesn't make sense.

Would use again but would get all the details and ask what is NOT included that might be necessary to actually use the plumbing they install before starting the work.

Iggy's gave me a $20 discount for being a repeated customer . They were able to setup an appt with me based on our availability, and arrived in a team of 2. They helped dispose of the old toilet and install the new one very efficiently - thankfully the new one ended up working splendidly! They were careful in moving the toilets throughout our place and worked unbelievably fast...within about an hour, they finished everything. And yes, they accept card.

When I decided to contact this company based on the yelp reviews, I am now very surprised at my horrible experience and customer service I received. When I initially contacted them I described what I needed and my zip code of where I was located! He responded with price etc. An appointment was made for 1-3 and then moved to 3-5. Around 5pm I was messaged that they did not want to service my area even though I waited all afternoon thinking someone was arriving. I expressed my frustration and I was told that it was my fault that I did not make it clear where I lived... seriously! Like I mentioned my zip code was listed from the beginning and it's not the customer's fault that you scheduled an appointment not looking at my info I provided from the beginning. Let me first off start by saying this... Iggy was exceptionally great.

When I contacted Iggy, it was because he was available 24/7. My water heater decided to stop working in the late evening. Well, sucks no hot water for showering my family!

Iggy responded fairly quickly and probe me with a few questions and asked me to take pictures for him of our water tank. I texted him thereafter with the photos and he promptly returned my call with more questions and told me our tank was still under warranty. He then provided me with some options such as willingly helping me walk through minor testing to fix it to save us money. He was willing to help me on the phone with no charge to do basic troubleshooting! What?? I can imagine him giving up free time to do this...

Well, my husband already did some troubleshooting so I told him what he had done. Then he had other suggestions to help me save money instead of having someone come out to the house and all. All that said, in the end we were already getting ready for next day going back to work so we decided to not save money and have him come out instead since we won't have time to fix it and needed it done for the next day. Iggy provided us with more options to help save us money by telling us which parts we can get, etc. to avoid travel fees to department, and other things. Initially we thought this was great as it'll save us more money since the water tank being under warranty. Found out warranty means it'll take about 3 days to get the parts in per manufacturer... WHAT? We said forget it! and had Iggy just take care of everything from finding the parts needed, traveling back and forth and do whatever is needed to get us hot water.

So Iggy came the next day. He did all the trouble shoot again, cleaning, maintenance, drained, everything. More than hours went by and still we were puzzle why still no hot water. Iggy finally got down to the root of it being the brain not functioning properly so had to get that replaced... as soon as it was replaced, HOT WATER!!

Had we tried to do it ourselves troubleshooting, we would have been as puzzled to why no hot water. We w wouldn't have thought it was the brain! Regardless, Iggy did the whole thing and made it working again for us. Took longer than expected but definitely not as long as it would have if we did it ourselves!

Iggy was communicative, super cost friendly (because he gave us options on choices everytime) and just was great! I'd totally hire him again for sure, and recommend him to anyone reading this!

I came across Iggy's Plumbing on Yelp when I was frantically searching for an emergency plumber after 10 pm one night. Our downstairs bathroom had the toilet overflowing and the bathtub on the verge of doing the same thing. Iggy answered the phone immediately and told me the pricing (a bit more because it was after hours) and that he would be at our house in 20 minutes. We rent our house and had no idea where the clean out was. Iggy and my husband probably spent a half hour just searching for it. It was buried under a bunch of rock. As soon as it was located, Iggy got to cleaning out the main line. He charged us the exact amount he quoted at the end of the service. We will definitely be using him again if needed!

Came home to my pilot light out on my water heater after being in the hospital for over 5 days. The last thing I expected to deal with and I was desperate to get hot water so my kids could bathe and get ready for school the next day. After calling different companies I came across Iggy's and so grateful that I did. He responded promptly and walked me through the steps over the phone within a couple of minutes to see if we could resolve it and WE did!! I offered to send him money for his time and assistance during a challenging time and he declined. This speaks VOLUMES to his character and the type of businessman he is. Todays day and age it's so hard just to get good service PERIOD and the fact that he assisted me over the phone and didn't try to price gouge me or take advantage of my desperation is AMAZING!! Iggy did a small job for me (he changed out my garbage disposal).

If you need your disposal changed out and you live in Elk Grove, South Sacramento or slightly beyond, then it's really a no brainier, call Iggy.

- Arrived on time.
Iggy and his partner got a flat tire en route to my home. They unloaded all their needed supplies from the vehicle and carried the tools to my house in 90 degree weather to do the job! They didn't cancel or say we will be back some other time.

- Upfront and honest.
Iggy told me on the first phone call exactly what the labor cost would be, the type of disposal he would be installing and its price. The final bill read exactly the same and he even included the receipt for his purchase of the disposal.

-Thorough
He made sure the job was done right. He even stayed around to make sure the new disposal wasn't leaking.

- Great installation price!
He was the lowest priced of those I called. Honestly, I would have used Iggy even if he had been the highest bidder (but please don't tell Iggy that!)

Iggy responded to my quote on Yelp within a few hours. He requested additional information so I sent him photos of my current kitchen sink plumbing set up. I told him that the objectives were to fix the leaky pipes and to change the configuration so that we could fit our small garbage can under the sink. He gave me a quote via text while another company wanted me to schedule an estimating appointment first. I decided to schedule an appointment with Iggy based on the prior reviews and quote. In March I hired Iggy's Plumbing for a job finding and fixing a leak in the master bedroom shower. He did a quality job, at a reasonable rate and within a pretty quick timeframe.

A couple weeks ago, I emailed him again about doing a multiple-task job: install two restroom sink faucets, tighten a kitchen faucet, and replace the cartridge in two shower valves. We had a miscommunication that delayed the service date. However, he was diligent to fix the relationship and complete the tasks.

As I have observed him at work now, over the course of several visits, it occurs to me that Iggy enjoys his craft. He talks about the challenges of a situation, problem-solves on the fly, calls acquaintances for support. It is fun to see a professional delighting in his work. I highly recommend him.

Called Iggy for a leak on the side of my house which was flowing from the backyard to the front yard--Didn't want the water cops to issue me a citation because the water was flowing off the yard into the gutter. Iggy came out the next day and diagnosed the problem immediately--It turned out to be landscaping irrigation and not plumbing. Iggy told me he could fix the leak and he stayed 3 hours until it was fixed---No more leak! Iggy quoted me an honest price and even charged me slightly less because he finished the job in less time than he thought. I like supporting family businesses. Iggy was courteous and professional. Iggy's was very helpful and, from what I can tell, reasonably priced and honest. My faucet somehow came off, and they replaced it. The found some additional leaks and replaced a larger section thanks to their due diligence. They even installed a better switch for my water.

When I asked if other pipes should be replaced, they were honest with me and said no, although they probably could have easily said yes (I would be none the wiser, after all!).

Additionally, they guarantee their work and parts for 1 year. I'll be calling Iggy's again for future plumbing needs.

Iggy worked on our outside pipe that connects to the irrigation system. The inside valve was broken so he had to replace the valve and pipes. We also had two leaking valves for our washer. He said that those need to be replaced. The cost was a little too much so we decided to find a plumber through our home warranty. We ended up not replacing those valves because they just needed to be tightened. When I notified Iggy that the part he replaced is leaking, he came back out to fix it. I was in hurry to fix the leak so I didn't have time to get quotes from different plumbers. My recommendation is to get quotes from multiple plumbers. Iggy's price was a little higher compare to another company, but Iggy is quick in responding your call.

My water heater went out in the middle of December 2017. I called Iggy based on other Yelp reviews and he responded within a few minutes. He gave me an estimate of what it would cost to replace it over the phone. I bought a water heater online at Home Depot right after I talked to him. The next day, Iggy went and picked it up, then came over and installed it. Very convenient. He's a really nice guy, too, and I learned a lot from him. The new water heater is working perfectly and looks as good as a water heater can look. If you need a very fast, very competent plumber at very reasonable prices, Iggy is the guy! If/when I ever need a professional plumber again, I won't hesitate to call him. 5 stars all the way.

We just bought our house and moved here. Our pool water came on late one night and we couldn't get it to shut off. Iggy came out on a Sunday after 5 and fixed our entire pool filler. Iggy was recommended to me by someone in my Elk Grove Facebook group. After previously calling a different plumber that was recommended by another person, and never getting a call back, I checked Yelp this time and Iggy had a 5 star rating. The 5 stars is totally legit! Iggy actually answered his phone and told me he could come over as soon as he finished up where he was. I sent him pictures of the Work I wanted done and he sent me a very reasonable quote. We are remodeling our kitchen and wanted the sink plumbing valves and drains replaced.

From the initial phone call to the completion of the work it was approximately 3 hours. He used top grade materials and did a fantastic job. While it's nice to have local people recommend local businesses, I learned to always double check Yelp!

I pulled on the bathtub faucet really hard to turn it on, when I pushed it in to turn off, it wasn't closing all the way creating a leak.
I called a couple plumbers, one said they were booked until next Thursday, one said they call back because they had to find someone. When I called Iggy's they answered right away, said they could come out around 830-930am. I explained to him the situation. He also asked me to send a picture of the faucet so he could get an idea of what was going on. Sent him a picture, and he knew right away what was wrong! I thought, no way he would know what was wrong just by looking at a picture! lol!
Kenny showed up around the time they quoted and sure enough it was the cartridge, just like they said it was!
Kenny was fast, efficient and very professional! He also gave us great tips on how to maintain it!
If I ever need a plumber again it'll be Iggy's! Don't hesitate to call them!

He showed up when he said he would be there. He ask me a few questions about the clog and went right to work. It was a very difficult clog and he worked for two hours until he got it cleared out. He cleaned out the pipe and went 50 ft. To make sure it was completely clear. He was very professional and made sure the area was clean when he finished. We had a water main leak in the front yard that we were afraid to get fixed because of the cost. We're all disabled in my house and have a tight budget. The city water department came out numerous times and said it was our responsibility to fix. Iggy gave us a reasonable estimate based on our photo of the leak. After digging in and seeing it was more work and more challenging our price went up, but it was doable. Iggy is a very professional, knowledgable plumber. Iggy is AWESOME. He initially came out to our house two years ago for a drainage issue and was great. He came out the next day and fixed the issue in a timely manner.

Fast forward to the present. I called him yesterday around 5pm because we desperately needed him to come fix another drainage issue. I left a voicemail expecting a call back the next day but he promptly called me within an hour. We talked and he said he could come tomorrow morning. He diagnosed the issue, gave us a quote, and went right to fixing it.

CHANGE OF HEART!!!

It's funny how U see that they've returned all messages and that there's a 1hr wait for a reply but I've waited about 90mins plus and still not a reply and my wife has called and no call back either. I guess we are the only ones to not get our message or call back. It's a first time for everything.

Now come to find out it took a little while longer as a solo plumber to respond however after the messages and a QUICK text I was quoted a GREAT price and a AWESOME time frame to have my job completed. More to come after the morning.

Found Iggys Plumbing on yelp and decided to call him because of the many consistently great reviews he had. Iggy gave me a quick estimate and was out the next day to complete the repairs. It was a leaky main water line that was hard to get to even though we had a leak detection service identify the location of the leak. The leak ended up being located in a different spot. Iggy adapted to the situation and went above and beyond to get to the leak and repair it. He completed the repair with a extremely fair and competitive price. Over the past few years I've had four occasions to use Iggy's services.
1) Three sinks were draining VERY slowly and obviously needed professional help. Simple fix but I needed a pro.
2) EMERGENCY: Came home to find a burst pipe under my bathroom sink had flooded my bathroom floor. Iggy came out that afternoon, did a temporary fix, and told me to buy new faucets for the two sinks. He installed the faucets a day or two later and replaced the hose/pipe. I asked him about my dripping shower head and he suggested I write to Moen and request a free replacement of the cartridge. I had no idea this had a lifetime warranty. I got the cartridge and the next time Iggy was here for a different problem, he installed the new cartridge. No more dripping and the shower handle is super easy to turn now.
3) Toilet kept running, needed repair. I called Iggy because I also needed the Moen cartridge replaced (see #2) above.
4) We have a well and turn off the water to the irrigation system in winter. When we turned it back on the other day, it malfunctioned-- broken valves, etc. spraying water everywhere. We checked with some well firms, but they dig and service wells, and this was more of a plumbing problem. Texted pictures to Iggy, he came, measured what he needed, and kept us informed as to the cost to get our okay (better quality brass part was more expensive). He did a great job fixing the irrigation system.
It's nice to have a reliable plumber. He responds quickly to text messages. Highest recommendation.

I'm always so nervous calling any type of contractor services to come fix something because hey you never know what you're going to get right? I typically always call the place with most reviews but today I came across someone local and although they had few reviews the others were enough for me. I'm all about small local businesses so I decided to give them a call after calling about six other places.

Iggy, got straight to the point as far as trying to diagnose it through what I was telling him and from there he gave me a price range. When I called the other places, they're getting way too much business or anything bc they wanted to make an appointment right away without even asking me what the problem was so I appreciated his diagnostics before even asking me to schedule and appointment. His answer seemed honest and genuine and didn't give much bs like other companies I called. I got really lucky bc I called around 4 and he happened to be doing work in the area and was able to come an hour later!

Prices were reasonable! For about 75 bucks got my toilet leak fixed due to the flanges being too low. Thanks for the great work and definitely will becoming back for future plumbing problems.

I'm glad I went with Iggy because he's also from the area so is very familiar with surrounding area'a plumbing system and how the houses were built and such. Great guy, honest service is rare to come by these days. Thanks Iggy!
