On Sunday afternoon, all of our bathtubs and toilets had a backflow issue.
I requested a quote from yelp and got a very first response from James.
I was hesistant first but after reading other reviews, I decided to give it try.
James received a call. After listening to my problem, he gave me the cost up front in detail.  He patiently answered all our questions and told me he would arrive in an hour. He arrived on time and he immediately diagnosed the issue. (It was the tree root that got into our main pipe!) James cleared out all those roots thoroughly.  He made sure everything is working. He kept his words on the price. If I ever need any plumbing services in the future, I will definitely call him again.

My tenant called me on a Saturday morning to tell me sewage was backing up into her home. I spent time calling and leaving messages for lots of plumbers that said they had emergency services. I was having trouble getting anyone who would come out. But HomePro answered right away. He was willing to come out and do the job right away. He even made sure I understood it was extra because of the weekend and almost tried to talk me out of it because I explained that I knew there was root damage. He let me know that clearing the clog is just a temporary fix and asked if I was sure I wanted to pay him the extra weekend fee to come out for a temporary fix.

I let him know I didn't have much choice as a tenant having sewage back up into her home is not okay. So he was willing to come ASAP.

I ended up having him not come as moments after I hung up with HomePro my local plumber who I usually use let me know he was available. But after calling plumber after plumber it was nice to have someone answer right away, be willing to come fix the emergency right away and was upfront about pricing. So though I did t have him come do the work, I would recommend giving him a try.

We had a leaking toilet and needed help urgently to avoid water damage, etc. James came out same day, and again the next day after we bought the replacement toilet. He was very motivated to get everything just right and treated our home with the same care he'd treat his own. Respectful, thorough, honest, and expert service. Highly recommend!!!

We needed our toilet replaced and created a yelp project and requested estimates and received a reply from Justin very quickly. Justin listened to our issue, gathered our information and gave us options on how we can resolve the issue and then put us in contact with their Plumber James to schedule an appointment.

James was available by both phone and text which allowed for efficient communication to communicate details of the job.

On the day of the appointment I was notified by text that James was on his way and he arrived at the time promised.  The work was done quick, neat and very professional in his interactions.

Needed a toilet replaced and Home Pro Plumbing was great. Excellent communication, fast to respond and worked with us to find the right toilet at the right price for our needs. James' service was professional and high quality.

I woke up to find water on my kitchen floor coming from under my sink. With all the knobs turned off the water didn't stop and I closed the main shut off line. I went on yelp to find a plumber and found Home Perfect. James came to my home within the hour as promised and told me it was a copper line inside the wall. He fixed it right away and had my water back on. Now I had to deal with all the water in my kitchen. James referred me to a great company, Smart Dry Restoration, for the water damage. I was very pleased with the experience.

The water heater went out at our house so after finding Home Pro Plumbing on Yelp we decided to give them a call and glad we did as they were affordable, available on the same day luckily and super easy to work with.

A few days ago I noticed that our shower head was leaking. After disassembling the shower head, I found the issue was likely the cartridge in the handle. So I then turned to YouTube to become and expert in home plumbing repair!

After disassembling the shower handle, I confirmed where the leak was and I attempted my own DIY repair followed by the realization that I really didn't know what I was doing. The cartridge was stuck and I could not get it out. Then when I tried to put everything back together the shower wouldn't even work. Should have seen this all coming.

It finally came time to call a professional.

I started a Project here in Yelp and HomePro Plumbers was one of several vendors that my request was sent to. I also asked for referrals on our community facebook page...HomePro Plumbers was the first recommendation there.

After getting several quotes from multiple vendors, I felt HomePro Plumbers was the most up front and transparent. I described my issue and was given a quote immediately. The other vendors I spoke with wanted to come out and inspect first (many of them charging a trip fee) or the only quoted me the cost of labor and said plus parts.

At HomePro, I worked with Jason. He took my call early in the morning and gave me an up front quote. His price was reasonable compared to all the others vendors and the price he gave me included parts and labor. Jason was able to do the work on the same day and at the exact time that I was available.

My appointment was at 4PM and Jason arrived about 10 minutes early. He was very professional and got right to work. About 20 minutes and everything was done! Wonderful experience.

While Jason was there, I asked for a few more quotes for some future projects and he again had an exact cost for everything that I asked. No push to do more than was needed and no hidden cost.

I know have Jason's number saved and he is added to our go to list for plumbing needs. I would highly recommend HomePro Plumbers. They are a local business in the Mira Mesa area.

James provided excellent and affordable service. He went beyond and above any other service I have experienced with  plumbers. Fixed a bath tub faucet cartridge quickly and at a reasonable charge. My new go to plumber.

James came very quickly. I called and he was available as soon as possible on a Saturday! I had a pipe leak while my husband was at work. He found the problem fast and was very transparent with cost before doing any work. He was respectful and quick. I'd recommend their services.

Update: just bought this house. home warranty will not cover the job that HomePro Plumbing did. Our loss. Super frustrating. It was on Saturday and I attempted to call while Homepro was working on our job, but was told to call during regular business hours what a joke.

I had a leak near my water main that needed immediate assistance. James arrived within about two hours and fixed the pipe, a major repair, on a Saturday. Really appreciate the kindness, responsiveness and professionalism.

James responded to inquiry promptly on Saturday. Would have charged $190 for overtime but advised me against that for small job of flappers and shutoff valve. Came Monday when some of the other inquiries to plumbers were still asking me for a time for them to estimate (not do) simple job later on. Quoted acceptable price, did every step well.  Checked back physically on Tuesday and said no more work needed rather than essentially replacing most of toilet for which I had steeled myself to expect. Everything is fine several days later and he saved me a lot of money--the mark of an honest artisan/craftsman. Easy to work with.

We needed to have a kitchen faucet and 2 angle stops installed. We hired Home Pro Plumbing to do the job. Aside from the prompt response to my request for service, Home Plumbing Pro provided an upfront estimate of the cost, and unlike several other vendors, did not try to upsell me on extraneous services. Our plumber, James, showed up on time and was very professional. He knew what he was doing and was very respectful and neat.  The whole job took about 2 hours to complete and we were quite satisfied with the work. I would not hesitate to use Home Pro Plumbing for work in the future.

James was knowledgeable and professional.  We used his service twice.  He helped us take down an old water filtration tank and installed a new, more compact water filters.  He also installed a new sink garbage disposal.  He might not be the cheapest but was very reliable and willing to give us some discounts.

AWESOME WORK YOU GUYS!! My house is a bit older and we had pipes that needed replacing. We had issues with things settling in the pipe, causing pressure to lower and things not to function correctly. Had these guys come out to get an estimate and their professional opinion on what our options were. They quoted us on fixing the pipes vs replacing them and we ended up just replacing it. FINALLY done and now everything is working great. The water pressure works great and just overall happy the project is completed.

We noticed some water stains on our walls, turns out we had a pinhole leak on a copper pipe. Home Perfect was very professional and quickly came to fix our issue. Strongly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

James answered the phone promptly and was honest about when he was available. He showed up exactly on time. He was completely fine with wearing a mask in our house and did so. He finished the job promptly and cleaned up. And everything works again!

Our dishwasher was leaking from within our island and I was so nervous we had a disaster on our hands!  James was able to come out the morning after I contacted the company and immediately discovered an old hose that had been worn by time and use and become kinked causing the backup.  He replaced the hoses quickly and all is good!  James was professional, timely and knowledgeable.  Rates are reasonable and we will be choosing this company from now on for our plumbing needs!

True professionals and they did great work. Called them because we were having some issues with pipes and water pressure.
