If you're looking for a punctual, reliable, honest, and good quality plumber this is not the one for you. Harvey (the owner) with first choice plumbing shows up drunk or smelling of liquor when he bothers to show up at all. Asks for payment before the job is done and then it's like pulling teeth trying to get him to come back and finish the job. I would give this plumbing service negative stars if it was possible. Save your money and call a real plumbing service.

First choice plumbing is by far the best choice I could have made. Harvey came out to my house when I had some pip issues with my water. He showed up within in no time! Very professional man. Got us back up and running in no time. Even called the next day to make sure everything was still okay! First choice plumbing by far exceeded my expectations! Thanks Harvey!

Javier or Harvey come to our house in response of Yancy home improvement inc. to fix a gas pipe and he give me a quote of 7,500 to replace the whole gas pipe
Only one pipe) he told us he will comeback to do the job but instead he told the supervisor of the Yancy company that I was very rude and very disrespectful to him and he was very scared of me and he didn't want to come back and finish the job!!! I don't recommend this company at all!!

Was looking for competitive bids on some plumbing repair work and hose bib installation. Harvey was the only plumber who actually got down to look into the house's crawlspace (Where the problem was) to get a better idea of what such a repair would entail. He spent the most time and asked the most questions, and still gave the most competitive quote. Did good work.Will definitely call again for any other plumbing issues.

I have had First Choice Plumbing fully paid for a job in March 2021 before the work was even started, and as of yet, the owner Harvey has not completed the work. There has been many times that he has promised the work to be completed, however, he has not completed it as of 8/24/2022. Currently, I am not receiving responses to my texts asking him to have the final part of the work completed. I have been extremely patient working through life situations that he has been going through, and as a supporter of small businesses, he was the first to come to mind when I had to have my main sewer lines changed and updated. Unfortunately, he has not completed the work after more than a year and a half. This is not acceptable and unprofessional. How is it ok for a small vendor to not finish the work that he promised to do after full receipt of payment was received 3/2021? All I want is for this work to be done. I am looking for resolution of this issue. I do have photos for support of the work not being done. Please do not make me go to the BBB.

It is the Friday of Memorial Weekend. I have no hot water! I call and message several plumbers. Harvey calls me back first. He said he could come take a look that morning. He gave me a fair price and fixed it right away. No upfront fees and fast service. He was on time and efficient. I am sure I would not have had hot water for days if it weren't for Harvey. He is now my plumber for good.

We hired Harvey to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. He told my wife he would replace the garbage disposal, since it wasn't working, and that this would likely fix the leak as well.
When we noticed the leak was still there, we contacted him to have him return. He said he would be there on Wed at 9am. When he didn't show, I texted him at 10am to ask if he was still coming, since I had to leave by 11:30am. He texted back that he was so sorry, he was stuck on another call, but he could come later that day. We agreed on 4:45 pm. At 5:56 he still had not arrived, and wouldn't return my text.
The next day my wife sent him an angry text, after which he responded, saying he was again very sorry and wanted to come finish the job. We agreed on Monday (yesterday) in the morning.
At 12:35 pm Harvey had still not arrived, so I texted to see if he was still coming.   I let him know if he didn't show up in the next couple hours, don't bother, we will find someone else to finish the job.
He then responded that he would still be showing up that day. But he never did, and again did not bother to contact me.
Today I get a phone message saying that he was again so sorry and was available to come finish the job.  Hmm....I'm noticing a pattern here. Our mistake was that we paid him for the job before ensuring that the problem had been fixed!

Would highly recommend Harvey with First Choice plumbing for large and small repairs. Harvey responded to my call late on a Sunday night as water was seeping into my basement and all the City would do is shut off the water. He arrived in no time, diagnosed that the problem was the sewer drain and not the pressurized water, and quickly came up with a plan. Knowing I couldn't use any drains, he came back the next morning and worked diligently to find the problems source. He visibly identified and showed me the crack down the old cast iron pipe and gave me a reasonable estimate and timeline for repair. He then set to the arduous task of digging up my concrete garage floor, being mindful of protecting my belongings and keeping the mess to a minimum, for which I was grateful in an already stressful situation. He replaced the entire line and suggested a check valve to prevent any future chance of backups into my basement. He filled everything in, poured the new concrete and cleaned up all of the debris and mess. In addition, Harvey was very personable, kept me informed as everything progressed, arrived in a timely manner and gratefully, finished the work very quickly so I could use my toilets and sewer line again. So nice to find someone who cares about the customer and the quality of his work. I'm grateful he was available on this emergency basis and will hire him and recommend him without hesitation. Thank you Harvey!!

Harvey is honest, hard working, great workmanship, and all around amazing. He responded quickly and gave me a great quote. He communicated when he could start and kept me updated of the progress. He is honest and worked within my budget. I recommend him to everyone I know. You won't find a better plumber than Harvey!
