I began in the air conditioning and heating trade in 1995.Started off as a helper to a journeyman. After one year began driving my own truck and making repairs on my own. I then went to another company after 6 years and worked there for the next few years. I decided then I would like to offer a better service for consumers when it came to heating and air. Since then I've been running a successful business for the last 15 years.

Pretty quick response time, competitive pricing. Their installers leave something to be desired but they are quick in their work. They are willing to listen to and address any issues you might encounter. Not really happy that they promised me a full system replacement but after the fact told me there were portions of ductwork they couldn't/wouldn't replace.

I called the company out to look at my system because i had just bought the house and was not sure how the previous owners where with maintenance on the system. Josue came out to check my condenser because  and found out i had a bad Fan cap so while he was replacing it. He accidentally shorted out a wire which the. Caused the condenser not to come on anymore. So he temporarily wired the system so i could have ac until they could order parts for the next day.
That same night i got a call from the owner Jason and he was able to come in the following day and asses the problems. We later found out that the short caused the thermostat to get burned so they replaced it free of charge and helped get the system back and going.

The AC was not working at my house, and I contacted Fire N Ice after reading several positive reviews. They scheduled me the same day for a service call.  My AC was blowing cold air the same day after David went to the house and made repairs and added refridgerant. Really appreciated the fast and professional service. Highly recommend!

These guys are hard workers! Isaac and his helper removed my antique heat pump packaged unit and all the old ducting very cleanly. They got the new system installed taking much care of our old home. I was very impressed with their attitudes and work ethic staying until 7:30pm to get the job done. Our 1925 home is now much cooler! I definitely recommend these guys!

First off let me say that this company is awesome! It's not often that you come across a place that is not only punctual, knowledgeable, helpful, but most of all HONEST!  I called and was able to be accommodated between two appointments within an hour of me calling. Jason arrived and was a super nice guy. I explained that another HVAC guy came in and did who knows what. Jason told me the things that needed to be done, step by step, and the parts that I needed. He was even nice enough to sell me the transformer that I needed, for 30 bux, so I wouldn't have to hunt one down. That's it! He didn't even charge me for the service call. I had a couple questions after I put it all back together, and he was happy to talk and walk me through it. I 100% recommend Jason and Fire N Ice for all you HVAC needs.

This company does great work, the crew were professional and considerate, and the job was completed faster than I imagined was possible. Also they gave me a great price because we are in the off-season. If you are considering a new AC unit, do it while your current system is still working rather than when it breaks in the summer and companies double their prices to compensate for the high demand. I got my old AC and furnace replaced with a much more efficient heat pump. The crew also rewrapped my duct and relocated the condenser all for about 50% of what I was quoted for a less efficient system this summer at Home Depot.

The day before our daughters birthday party at our house our air conditioner decided to not blow cool air anymore.  I contacted several AC Repair companies who could not see us for at least 2-5 days.  I contacted Fire-N-Ice and Jason immediately responded letting me know that he was in the next town over and could stop by to take a look at it as soon as he was finished with his current job.  After that point communication was smooth and seamless via text and email and Jason gave me a call to let me know when he was 15-20 minutes away.  Jason promptly arrived, was extremely professional and able to fix our air conditioning with ease.  I will definitely be giving Fire-N-Ice my business again as well as recommending my family and friends!

My AC started acting up a few days ago, so I contacted my contractor, Jeremy, for a reference. He recommended Fire N Ice. I called the company yesterday, spoke with Yvonne, and explained the problem I was having with my AC. She got me into the schedule the very next day. Isaac Rocha was the tech assigned to me. He was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. He identified the issues, (leak in the tubing of the condenser and low refrigerant) provided recommendations (leak seal with UV dye), performed the work needed to resolve the issues, and checked the entire HVAC system. What a pleasure it was to work with such a responsive and reliable company and encounter great customer service from beginning to end. I will definitely be calling again for any and all of my heating and air conditioning needs.

Jason / Fire N Ice came highly recommended by my realtor, in his words, he is not the cheapest but his work is excellent.  I believe you get what you pay for and for certain things you skimp at your own risk.  Air conditioning in 100 degree plus heat was not something I was interested in taking a chance on.  Fire-N-Ice were extremely responsive and had me scheduled within a very reasonable time frame (I think they came out the very next day).  My AC situation was not immediately apparent and after some troubleshooting everything appeared to be working properly.  That did not remain the case.  Having already paid for the service, I could only hope they would stand by their work.  It took more than one visit but, ultimately, Jason identified the issue and fixed it completely, not only that, because they were incorrect in their initial assessment, he refunded me for the work I had already paid for.  Talk about integrity!  THIS is the type of company you remember when a friend or family member asks Do you know any good AC/Heating guys?  In fact, this is the type of company that inspires someone like me, who hardly writes reviews for anything, to take time out of my busy schedule and write a 5-star Yelp review because I'm so impressed.

I purchased a  5 ton, 16.5 ton system a few years ago after learning about their pricing, friendly demeanor, and customer service from a close friend.  My system was working flawless, until this afternoon my fan completely stopped in the 105 degree heat. My house went from 72 degrees to 82 degrees within an hour.  I have a young baby girl who was sweating and crying.  I called Jason who immediately responded and made arrangements (without hesitation) to help.  30 minutes later, Jason Zon showed up and fixed the issues (sensor, capacitor) in 20 minutes.  I was not charged for this service, as Jason ensured me that they stand by their warranties, products and service. My house's HVAC unit started to blew out warm air. Therefore, I started to search for vendors for HVAC repair via yelp. I have read multiple reviews on several companies before decided to contact Fire-N Ice Heating & Air to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was helpful and friend during the service appointment scheduling process. The process in scheduling the appointment process was quick and efficient. They were able to schedule me with a next day appointment. On the day of the appointment, David, the service technician arrived timely to the appointment. He works diligently in completing various necessary diagnostics to assess the issue. He kindly went over the work that will be done on my HVAC and kept me posted on the progress of the repair. He worked above and beyond in the repair process. He assisted me in replacing the capacitor, hard start, contractor and refill the refrigerant. Overall, I am greatly satisfied and grateful with the service and I will definitely recommend my family and friends to reach out to Fire - N- Ice Heating & Air when  AC work need to be done.

I found an AC company I will work with for all my needs!  I knew my AC needed service, but I dreaded calling anyone because my past experience was that the sky was falling, I needed so much work I should just consider getting a new unit.  But my experience with yelp, is that companies with lots of 5 stars rarely, if ever disappoint. So I tried Fire-N-Ice. They are professional, honest, arrived on time, and did NOT give me a laundry list of stuff to fix. They serviced the unit, told me it was fine, and suggested getting another check in a year or so since the unit is getting quite old.

I loved working with this company! It is so hard to find honest, professional and reliable companies, so when I find one, I am a customer for life.

My AC stopped working again. This company fixed my AC last Sept and I was pleased, so, I called them again. They found the problem quickly and checked out the other components to see if they were in good condition. They were.

The breakdown this time was not the same one they fixed in Sept. They found the problem, fixed it, and didn't try to up sale me with repaired that I didn't need.

Davon offered me $300 quote for just changing two 16AWG & one 10 AWG wires with connectors. I was not pleased with the price, but it's just a quote so I understand and have no issue with that. Here is my complains: He said he will need to buy a kit to replace the wire and the connectors, and he can buy from the closest shop and only one stock left. I know this is not true. There is no such a kit. All he needs to do is get his 16AWG & and 10 AWG  and the connectors out of his car and replace them. He actually took out female connectors from his car to replace it, but he explained that these are not any good, they will meltdown. I know this is not true either. While he was inspecting the thee wires that connected to the compressor he had to pull out the connectors. He pulled out black wire and yellow wire. Black and yellow wire's female connector got broke while he was pulling off from the compressor. He said it's company policy to put everything back to how it was before. But he cut out the black connector left it like that. The Yellow wire connector got broke so he also left it like that. Both black wire and yellow wire got pulled out and left without being connected back to the compressor. He was going to qutoe me for changing the female connectors (I think) but instead he changed his mind and go for changing the whole three wire and quoted me for $300.  Again $300 quote, I understand, but I was mad at his false explanation. I went to Homedepot and bought a cheap $3 regular female connector pack (it says, can handle up to 300W) and changed myself (took me 15 mins). And now it's working fine, did not have to spend $300 more. Davon was honest in the beginning, but at a certain point, he got changed. I hope the company is not behind all this. (This is Corona Area)

Wow these guys are amazing! Our AC unit just started blowing warm air yesterday evening on a warm winter day, so this morning I looked on yelp and found fire n ice heating and air they were rated 5 stars so I gave them a call and they had 12-2 appointment available so I booked that. At 12:30 two guys show up and ask me to turn our AC on and they go up on the roof and a couple minutes later I feel cool air coming out of the vent and then one of the techs came to the door and told me it was just a tripped breaker and that there was no charge. I fully expected to pay for a service call and had no problem at all with paying for it, I even told him he had to drive over here but he said no charge. This really shows me why fire n ice is rated with 5 stars. Thank you guys so much!

I had my AC go out on the first hottest day of the year, these folks were recommended to me by my realtor/friend when I sent them a text on Sunday they said they would come out on Monday and would let me know when I explained I have an elderly parent living with me with health issues and they arrived at 9:00 am Monday morning and within 30 minutes had me back up and running!  The replacement part and labor was more than reasonable and I was grateful for the expedited service!  Thank you all for your help and expertise, I will definitely keep your info for future referrals or work needs!

I hardly ever make posts about services but Jason and his team were so amazing I had to. Our heater went out on thanksgiving morning. I messaged fire-n-ice after reading reviews on yelp. Even though it was thanksgiving Jason responded immediately, set up a visit for the next day. He kept me updated on his eta, didn't try to haggle and sell me parts I didn't need. If I could, I'd give this company a 10-star rating. After doing some extensive research, I found that American Standard, which is what Fire-N-Ice offers, is the best HVAC manufacturer you could possibly get, other than Trane. I contacted David Huard via Yelp and he responded to me within the hour and set up a meeting with me in 2 days. Upon meeting, we sat down and David was straight-forward with me, asking me in detail what I was looking for, what system I had and I could tell that he was very passionate about his craft. I respected his honesty in regards to the system that is recommended for my house, knowing that he did not try to up-sell me like other large companies. I also explained to him my situation of not having AC for a week and he understood my needs and was able to prioritize my house despite having so many other customers ahead of me. He scheduled to have my new system installed 4 days later, but instead, they showed up the next day which was a pleasant surprise. He employs an extremely hard-working staff as the 2 gentlemen that installed my system were Davon & Daniel. Both men worked for 9 hours STRAIGHT without any breaks or meals and I was concerned but also appreciative of their hard work and commitment to their customers. I would recommend Fire-N-Ice to my friends and family if they ever need their system serviced. Overall, Fire-N-Ice offers competitive pricing, extremely knowledgeable and hard-working staff, and great transparent communication. 10/10!

Although my initial experience was not great, as many have mentioned, the owner of this company is incredibly involved and helpful. When this company says they are operated in our community, it's 100% true. I called today as it's over 95 degrees outside and my air conditioner was blowing hot air . They didn't have anyone until tomorrow but the receptionist said she'd call if anything came up. Well 30 min later she called and said she found someone and they were at my house in less than an hour from my initial call WoW! Now I've used this company for maintenance on my unit in the past & the experience was good, but today David came and literally broke down everything in detail, I know exactly what needs to be done & he was so friendly & respectful (which is so important when you're a woman home alone with your kids). He went above and beyond by figuring out a temporary solution until my husband and I can afford a new unit.
We will definitely be calling them when we're ready to replace our AC.

We moved into our house a few months ago, we have 2 original units ( 20 years old) that probably haven't been serviced in years! Called Fire-N- Ice and Jason came out the next day. He serviced both units (they were nasty) and changed our filters. He was fast, efficient, and honest ! My AC went out in the heat of summer and I was being quoted a ridiculous amount from the roofing company which caused the issue to begin with. I was just visited by Jason, the owner, and he exceeded all expectations.
He took the time to explain things to me, was able to replace a part at a very good price as well as move my ac unit (which was the original request) at a price that was more than 1/2 the quotes other services were offering.
In addition , serviced the unit, cleaning it and all the conduits as well as the filter inside the house.

I would recommend his service to anyone looking for an honest, reasonable, and reliable person for all your HVAC needs. He is the best HVAC person who has ever serviced our units over the years- massively impressed!

By far, the best in customer service that I've encountered in quite some time. My upstairs unit went out and Fire-N-Ice came out quickly. Unfortunately, the unit was old and had to be replaced, but I feel like I got a very good price. About a month later, my downstairs unit had problems and, once again, Jason came out quickly and took care of the problem. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend this company.

Fire N Ice is a honest company. I had another company come prior to them and the other company did not even diagnose my issue. They just told me I needed a whole new system. I know I need a new system in the near future as my furnace is over 30 years old. We had Fire-N-Ice replace our two A/C units. So glad we found this company. We received 3 different quotes for our project. Fire-N-Ice was by far the best value. David came to our home, answered all our questions and talked us through the work needed to be done. We scheduled our install, they were on time, worked hard and were very knowledgeable. Had these guys install new complete heating and air units on my house and rentals. Start off with Jason R. And David went over my options with me. Explained the new heat pumps that the industry and California is pushing. They answered all my questions where I was comfortable moving forward with heat pumps.  Installation took 2 days for all 3 units. They did a clean install. Our furnace and a/c were 18 years old and had seen better days. We decided to get several quotes and decided on Fire-N-Ice because they had a compeitve quote and highly rated equiptment. They arrived promptly on the scheduled date to replace the a/c unit and furnace. The two techs were great and spent the whole day removing the old equipment and installing the new furnace and ac unit. My building A/C was causing issues, with delay in starting and then ultimately failing. I called Fire n Ice and spoke with the agent who took the call and her sassy attitude had already turned me off, however I was urgently needing the repair so my customers wouldn't complain. The quote that I received was overpriced however I had no choice but to pay the premium, and they clearly know they can milk the system. Tech came out to inspect and before he even got inside was spouting off about the buildings in my area all need new AC units. Wasn't even relevant, he had no clue of any surrounding units or even mine, and the persistence to push a new unit before inspecting mine was disconcerting. these units costs thousands, and of course these techs make commission to upsell. after 2 hours after checking and talking on the phone to his boss and then back to checking, he went to his truck and had an existing parts that he swapped out and then the unit began working again. Surprise surprise, it wasn't all the lies he was telling me. He billed me 2.5 hours, parts and trip charge!  no idea about the extra fees, I paid an overpriced bill and never again will I call them.

It started as an emergency call, both my AC units stopped within days apart, of course just when temperature was unbearable.
Jason from fire & ice showed up next day and he was very patient to listen to my concerns and he showed knowledge about where to start the diagnosis, within hour got my first unit up and running and he shifted gears to start on the upper floor unit, and after some diagnostics and up and down in the hot attic he gave us the assuring smile, all good, he got it running.
Couldn't be anymore pleased and frankly this gentleman was very light and swift that we didn't feel his presence, I would definitely hire him back for future issues and would definitely reffer him to anyone that is in dyer to get his equipment running.

My repairman for the day was Jason.  He had my ac back up and running in under 20 mins. My repair was made same day. My dogs didn't have to suffer this 100 degree day. We have used Fire-N-Ice twice, once to install a unit and once to service. The installation was quick, efficient, clean and done correctly. The workers were friendly and knowledgable. We recently had to have service to a unit, and despite that fact that it had been hot for a while, meaning they were busy, they were able to come the next day, when they said they would. The service guy communicated the problem, the solution and gave us an idea of the general health of the unit. We will use them again as we know we can trust them to come in a timely manner, get the job done correctly, and do it with friendly service. We also felt the price was reasonable. We have learned a valuable lesson this week after our AC stopped working properly (it's a 30 year old unit, R22 very low and the coils iced over). Fortunately while working remote we were able to have a lot of companies come out for estimates (that's Tip #1, get multiple quotes!!). We identified a lot of companies to come out and give us estimates (same way we always do: Yelp, sort: most reviewed)

We had NextGen come ($11k, down to $9k). Absolute Airflow ($14k).. and other big companies. What we found - they all send a salesperson, not a technician. They come with a presentation binder, not tools. They can't answer questions on fixing the issue and they don't offer solutions other than the most expensive options to cover their overhead and advertising. No mention of permits or dealing with associations. They push financing and maintenance plans - the list goes on, you can read the bad reviews. Nice people, shady business practices. (Tip #2: Do your research, look at the products listed on the estimate, ask about permits and itemize all costs associated. Don't be blinded by fancy advertising, this is a major home improvement expense)

We decided to branch out of OC to find someone else who could give us an estimate. We came across Fire-N-Ice and from the very first phone call I knew this was a different caliber company. David spent 30 minutes on the phone with me explaining HVAC systems, R22, SEER, pulling permits and transparently explaining all costs associated. There were no pushy sales tactics, no nonsense estimates and I really appreciated that. He is truly passionate about his line of work and the quality of service his company provides. That was very evident in our phone call.

Fast forward to today - Jason (someone who actually works on HVAC systems) came out to diagnose the problem. He didn't push a new system, financing or any kind of upsells on us. He was a problem solver and gave us options. We chose to fix the issue and plug any small holes as a temporary fix to get us by. Jason was knowledgeable and equally as honest as David.

Even a brand new system (up to code with permits included) through Fire-N-Ice was half the cost of some of the biggest names we met with. What we learned this week: don't waste your time with the big companies, you don't get what you pay for - you're just covering their overhead costs, not a job done well. David and Jason had a genuine interest in providing the best solution for our problem (even if it isn't the most profitable for them). For that, we are extremely grateful and when the time comes to replace our system - because it will, we understand that - we know exactly who we will be calling, without hesitation.

I'm hesitant to leave a review because you guys might get booked up for when we we need you (hah!) but it's more than well deserved. Honest companies are hard to come by these days. Thank you Fire-N-Ice, we're so happy to have AC again!!!

The Fire N Ice guys just pulled out of my driveway after installing a completely new AC, furnace and ducting. They were very responsive to get me a quote (which also happened to be the lowest) and were able to start the next day! Very helpful considering my old AC decided 40 years was more than enough time spent on this earth and the end of July was going to be its time to die.
Their guys spent two 90+ degree days in my attic to get it wrapped up and my family back in comfort. They removed the old system and ducting and hauled it all away. They also relocated the return intake to a much better location and moved my thermostat near the new return. They even replaced all of my vent registers, sealed the duct boots to the wall with caulking and caulked the new registers as well.
The month prior my old AC had stopped working and they were able to get it going with a recharge. They even credited the refrigerant recharge cost towards the new AC and install.
The crew that was at my house was very professional, courteous and did an excellent job of keeping their work clean and tidy from start to finish. In the unlikely event I have any AC or furnace needs in the future they will 100% get my business as well as any maintenance work. .

The AC was not working at our apartment! And Fire N Ice came to check it out on a Saturday . We needed a new unit , so they returned following Friday . Isaac and his son also Isaac , worked very hard in the sun . Currently with the pandemic I appreciated that they wore gloves and masks . They answered my questions and taught me how to use the thermostat. I appreciated they took the time to explain to me , as I'm new to where I live and still hadn't got the hang of it . I don't know about anyone else, but the process of purchasing a new hvac system is very overwhelming. Yet getting this very expensive purchase right is important to the comfort of the home for years to come. I received several bids over the course of a week. David from Fire-N-Ice was definitely a stand out. He took the time to inspect, ask questions about the current system and thoroughly explain everything. It was 100 degrees outside when David inspected the ac and the furnace in the attic. Highly uncomfortable I'm sure but necessary to give an accurate bid. The fact that he was willing to do the inspections in the blazing heat, when so many would not, shows he cares about getting this right. Also, he was very respectful of our home. We have white flooring. He immediately pulled out CLEAN shoe covers. The bid was fair, detailed and received in a reasonable amount of time. I still had a lot of questions....because I always do. David always replied quickly, clearly and patiently. I believe the first point of contact with a company shows you what level service you can expect. Judging from my experience so far, I would definitely recommend Fire-N-Ice. On such a high stakes project you really want someone you can work with as a team to get the job done right.

Very pleased with their service, response time, communication, price, everything.  I would highly recommend them.  Isaac and his assistant took care of a few ducting issues in my attic, two of my rooms were not getting a/c due to damaged and disconnected ducts that we could not reach. They were able to fix this, and were very professional, explained what needed to be done in detail, took photos, drew a diagram, it was very appreciated. Another company tried to get me to have my ducting cleaned when I called to explain my issues, I don't think they wanted to come and do a somewhat small job. I asked Fire N Ice to look at this as well, but they showed me how, in fact, the ducts were very clean and there was no need to spend that money at this time. I appreciated their honesty.

After almost 14 years, it was necessary to replace our heating and air conditioning units. It became quite daunting as we researched service providers and cost.....until we contacted David at Fire N Ice. David came over to give us an estimate, spent over 2 hours assessing our situation including quite a while in the attic (something other companies did not even bother to do). Well I decided to write a review on this company.  First and foremost Isaac the technician that came out did a great job.  When I called in for the appointment, the receptionist who took my information was professional and very nice.

Now let's talk about the company overall.  They were not the cheapest or the most expensive;  The $79 I paid covered the inspection, AC coils rinsed off, capacitor checked, and a relay switch checked.  

Keep in mind I believe maintenance is better than repair this company is a good job for the price.  There was nothing wrong with my AC unit and that's what they told me so they're an honest company too.

Charged us $300 for the wrong thing...then came back when the system broke within 2 weeks and said the whole thing needed replacing. This is the second time I have called Fire N Ice to work on an A/C system (installed by someone else).  
The first time was the Friday evening before Labor Day when the temp on our porch was 112.  The people who installed the system, including replacing the duct work; e.g. big bucks,  were going to return to work the next Tuesday.  Fire N Ice, who I did not know, and did not know me, were there Saturday morning and replaced a bad capacitor.

This time they again responded promptly to change out a bad blower motor.

No fuss; no drama.

Family business.  The two youngish technicians are apparently brothers, and could not have been more pleasant.

So glad I found Fire N Ice.  They are my go-to folks for the future.

I called Jason around 7:00PM to see if he could look at my tenants A/C unit which had stopped working. He was very professional and told me he would try and look after he finished the job he was currently working on. AC stopped working, they came out fairly quick for summer time scheduling and fixed the issue for what I believe is a competitive price. AC now works.

FULL REVIEW
My AC stopped blowing cold air on a thursday night/Friday morning. I made several requests for quotes and scheduling with several companies but most either didn't reply or were slow to do so. Fire N Ice was fairly quick. They were able to schedule for the following Wednesday morning to have a technician out to my house.
Jason Rievley was my technician and he was great at communicating and was on time to my appointment. He called me 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived we discussed the issue and he  went outside to the AC unit where he promptly diagnosed the issue. He advised me of the issue and the cost to repair, which I felt was competitively priced (obviously it would've been cheaper if I made the repairs myself which is totally possible, but I'm not a very handy person and don't have the proper knowledge to decide which part would be the correct one or best to buy).
Its been almost a full week since the repair and the AC is still working properly.

David Huard provided a quick estimate to replace our 25 year old home A/C unit (that was on its last leg) and had the most competitive price compared to several other local contractors, especially considering the highly rated brand they use (American Standard). He also made scheduling/setup and payment a breeze. They were available to start almost immediately!

Our installers (Davon and Jazan) were amazing. They were punctual, friendly, professional, safe, knowledgeable, skilled, thorough, clean/tidy, and quick! We couldn't have asked for more.

I especially appreciate Davon's attention to detail. When he came to take a look at our existing equipment (during the time we were getting quotes), he was the ONLY contractor to point out specific things that none of the other contractors noticed/pointed out. He also suggested a couple of improvements (again, that none of the other contractors did) that ended up working out great.

We had issues with our heater and A/C for a while now, so we called Fire N Ice for a service. They scheduled an appoint the next day even in weekends. I really appreciated that. Isaac came and in few minutes he was able to make our heater and A/C work again. There was a problem with CFR relay. He let us know that in order to fix the problem permanently we have to replace the fan main board. So he provided us with an estimate if we were to move forward. For today's service he didn't charge anything. I was very graceful for that, especially in this time of Covid 19. Isaac had very good knowledge. I'll definitely recommend Fire N Ice! Fire and Ice was only company that responded on Yelp quote with approximate cost of repair.
All other just said needed to evaluate problem.
My issue was simple fix and common and i appreciate the honest guess of the problem.
They came out and quickly repaired my AC.  Super good about responding by text with update and ETA..  
Did not try to up sale anything.
Would recommend them for service.

It is important to Trust a company when they provide a professional service that you know nothing about. Fire-N-Ice has been my trusted advisory for HVAC work for the last 15+ years. The team at Fire-N-Ice have been amazing to work with, my family and I have used their services for a variety of fixes and part replacements including tune ups. However, recently we needed our system completely replaced- AC and Furnace, this was a big job/ expensive job, which can be scary. Jason (Ownership) provided system options and great recommendations to save me money, at the same time take advantage of California rebates/ taxes. GOUGING PREDATORS!
They replaced a capacitor on my
A/C less than 2 years ago. I noticed it was making grinding sounds, so I emailed a photo of it and requested a service call to replace it.
They showed up on time. Were here maybe 20 minutes. The Invoice charged me $75.00 for the Service Call and adjusted the part from $345.00 to $270.00 (see photo)
They left without replacing the power connection. (see photo)
I later found the EXACT part for $28.00! (see photo)
That is a ten to twelve times increase for the part. I am aware you always pay more for the part, but not THAT MUCHMORE!!!!!
I am a Senior Citizen with a disability. I feel this was abusive and excessive.
They did not respond to my email and the Owner did not respond to my text regarding leaving the power disconnected. Obviously the A/C would not work without power.
I had to find someone else to put it back in. I was not sure how, nor should I need to know. That was THEIR job!
So my experience is that these people are opportunists preying on older customers.

On a scorching summer day my AC stopped working it felt like a hot blow dryer was running through my house.

I called 2other AC repair company's and one didn't bother calling me back and the other wouldn't be able to come over for a few days.
I looked online and found these guys I'm so glad I made the call. Jason and a younger guy showed up bright n early in the morning with in a few minutes my AC was up and running.

I really appreciated Jason's honesty and knowledge of the unit, maintenance needed and even though it's an old unit he didn't try to up-sell me he suggested I do this and that before buying a new one.

Super helpful, polite and quick I will definitely call them back should I have any more issues and when I'm ready to buy a new unit I feel comfortable choosing g them for purchase and install.

AC wasnt working. Knowing it was going to be super hot today, I called around to see if I could get someone over asap. So grateful I called Fire and Ice. Bella got me on the schedule and followed up with me to let me know when the tech would arrive. David was right on time.  Got my AC up and running right away!! Woo Hoo! Had a new 5 ton side discharge HVAC system with heat pump installed by Fire N Ice along with an I-wave whole house filtration and whole house fan to blow out the hot air in the house before we turn the A/C on - couldn't be more happy with the system.  David was very helpful in the selection of the equipment that was required and explained the benefits of all the extra options to get the most out of the HVAC system- The installation crew lead by Davon were all professional and helpful and made sure I was happy with airflow in each room - not to mention they made sure to clean up and leave everything in the same condition as it was before they started the project - I would strongly encourage anyone to use Fire N Ice on their next HVAC project - you won't be disappointed-

The time had come for me to invest in a new HVAC System; no small task and definitely nerve wracking. I attempted to secure three quotes and let's just say, two of the three were a complete joke! I have had a great experience with this company. Jason the owner is really easy and flexible to communicate/ work with. I have been working with Corey Rievley and he does a fantastic job. Any questions or concerns that I had, Corey was able to answer for me. Corey goes above and beyond to find a solution to a problem. I tend to be the last call for the day for Corey, but he takes his time and never rushes to complete his work. A few weeks back, Corey came out to install a new condenser on his off day. I have a rental property that had a failing HVAC. My initial idea was to replace the HVAC with multi-zone mini splits, thinking that that would be a less expensive option. David suggested just replacing the HVAC with another central unit, except instead of a furnace he recommended a heat pump. It ended up being much less expensive than installing either a multi-zone mini-split or an HVAC with a traditional gas powered furnace. David was very informative and did not try to upsell me, unlike other quotes I obtained. My tenant is beyond happy with the new system. Lastly, as far as installation, David was able to install the system very quickly. As I am a long distance landlord, I needed his crew to let themselves into the property (the tenant was out of town). No damage was done and they secured the house properly when they left after installation. I will use FNI for my next HVAC replacement.

Our heater not working, so we called on Sunday and the technician come on Monday. We satisfy with the service. They check everything to make sure the AC working perfectly. The only downside is that it will be better if they use mask and glove when they come to our house during this pandemic season especially when we at high risk getting expose because of our medical condition. Jason from Fire-N-Ice came out to troubleshoot an issue with my ac today not meeting set point. Technician arrived on time and found the issue to be my condenser. The unit needed to be washed off and cleaned. This is a must on ac units and he advised me to wash and get the dust off the condenser at least once a month. Isaac showed up during the timeframe promised.  $75 diagnostic fee.  Gave me straight up answers to my questions and did not try to upsell me on selling me on a new system like other companies have prior.   Replaced my broken fan motor.   Got my air conditioning back on within 1 hour.   Isaac is the man.   Would definitely call these guys again the next time I have issues with my HVAC.

This is our second time using Fire N Ice HVAC.  We first used them about 7 years ago and they replaced our air conditioning unit for about 60% of the cost of what the other four companies that we had called wanted to charge.  Fast forward to today, ac was not cooling. David came out and fixed it lickety split!  He was done in less than an hour, changed the capcitor and the thingamajig, and we are back in business.  I called at 8am and he was here by 1pm.  Left my house before 2pm.  A job well done!

Oh my gosh!  My air conditioner went out late last night and I contacted Fire-N-Ice this morning through Yelp. They got back to me right away. I was at work and they arranged a time when I would be home to come and fix my unit.  I was not expecting same day service in the middle of a heatwave. They were at my house exactly at the time as they had promised, I received a phone call first to let me know that they were on their way, and they did a great job fixing my unit.  I'm always worried when I contact repair people that they're going to rip you off or overcharge or say that you need something that you don't need because I'm no expert. Jason was honest and told me just what I needed in order for the unit to work. They even changed my house filter for me without me asking and triple-checked to make sure everything else was working properly. And they were here fir less than an hour. Hopefully I won't need them again but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again. I'm happy sitting in my cool house. Thank you Jason!

We had a concern with our heating/ac unit.  It was leaking and setting off our CO2 monitor.  Not badly, just a chirp chirp when the heater was at about 75.  Had the gas company out and they found the leaks, it was through the exhaust pipes.  Well, Issac came out and listened to what we told him and then reviewed the paperwork that the Gas Company left.  He then dove in did his checks, verified everything and then fixed it.  He found a couple of items that were not done during the initial install of the unit a few years ago, fixed them also.  All in all, my wife and I are pleased with the work, the overall attitude of the worker, and the respect he showed to my wife and I.  He did no work until he had all the information, then he verified that and then he did the work.  Issac did a great job, if we need any more work, we will call.  Thank you.

There are no words to express how grateful I am for Fire-N-Ice! It is over 100 degrees, I have a baby at home and at 450pm I realized my AC completely had given up! I called and not only did they answer on the first ring, but they were at my house within 2 hours and had me running in 20 minutes. Nothing better than a vendor showing up and doing a great job. My AC had stopped blowing cold a couple of  days before the temperatures were supposed to kick up. It came down to Fire and Ice and another company based on reviews. Fire and Ice was the first to respond and we set up an appointment for the following morning. Found Fire-N-Ice on yelp sorting by top rated HVAC. This is a family owned and operated business and their 5 star yelp review is definitely well deserved. If I could give them more stars I would.

I called to know the cost and make appointment for HVAC inspection as I have a insurance claim for water damage in my kitchen walls that a plumber and leak detection company found no leak in the water lines. Leak detection recommended HVAC company to check if the moisture was coming from the HVAC. I spoke to Bella initially and then after I believe her aunt. Both were very professional and friendly. Estimate was no charge and appointment was made.

Fast forward to the appointment. Corey was my technician (one of the brothers of the owner) did his tests and inspection and there are no issues with the HVAC and is not the cause of moisture. He spent a total of 1.5 hrs at my home. The small open spaces where the HVAC lines come into the house from outside Corey re-sealed ... he also cleaned-up high voltage wiring and secured it better as well as fixed some exposed wiring. Unheard of today, but there was no charge. That's right no charge!

He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Most people would come in and inspect what they were supposed to and that's it. Corey started to ask me questions and took time out to just kind of look around to see if anything could be the culprit of the leak causing the water damage. He pointed out the sink water spout, the hose from that to the p-trap showed calcium buildup and the screw on the clamp of the hose was rusted. He's not an expert plumber but is very plausible. The HVAC tech has possibly solved the mystery that water leak expert companies and plumbers could not find. Makes perfect sense ... no water leaks since demo because of course the sink has been removed. Put back the sink without fixing the issues of the spout and hoses then it will leak again.

Maybe insurance can get another expert to confirm this as it been just over a month that I have a fully demolished kitchen and the general contractor can't rebuild my kitchen until the source of the water damage is discovered.

I would highly recommend Fire-N-Ice and specifically Corey for all your HVAC needs and maybe even plumbing (kidding on plumbing) as he went above and beyond in every way including wearing a mask and booties upon entering. I even recommended Fire-N-Ice to my insurance company. Don't hesitate calling Fire-N-Ice and thank me later.

Needed to replace my ducts and decided to get few quotes from a few different vendors. My AC was not working so I called Fire n Ice,  they made an appointment for me the following day which was great because it was a hot week!! Once the tech arrived he immersed began to troubleshoot the problem.   It ended up being a fuse, no more no less.  He was honest and open and reasonably priced.  In less than an hour my AC was up and running!

Our AC unit went down due to the recent heat wave. We decided to look for a local company and found Fire-N-Ice on YELP and gave them a call. Had an issue with my upstairs AC unit. Contacted them and received a fair quote for a service call. Jason arrived on time as promised and was very professional and friendly. I told him the symptoms our AC unit was having and within 20 minutes he had it working again! He had the replacement part in his truck, and better yet, it was Made in the USA! I scheduled a service call between 9am - 1pm. At 1pm I called the office because the service technician hadn't shown up yet and I was told that they will call me back with an update. They never called me back until the technician called after 6pm to let me know he was on his way!!!!! I told him not to bother because I called another company. I didn't want them touching my a/c. I couldn't trust them to do the job right if they can't even show up without a problem.

I generally don't write reviews, however, in April 2020 my AC stopped working and I called Fire&Air. They were prompt and professional. they sent in Isaac who cleared the pipes and cleaned up the AC unit. When he tested it - didn't work.  He then went to work and surgically took apart my unit, brought out his camera and searched every area of the unit until he found the problem - broken washers and tape clogging a pipe. He fixed it, tested it several times, and masterfully, re-taped the unit to ensure no air leaks - he spent 2 hours but he identified and fixed my AC unit. I won't call anyone else but Isaac and Fire&Ice for any future repairs. Thank you guys.

I just hung up the phone with David, getting a 2nd opinion on a quote I got from another company for a whole hvac system install at my home.
He quoted me a much better brand(American Standard), and more efficient system than the others, and SAVED ME 25%!!

Fire and Ice came out promptly and sized up our air conditioning problem (upstairs AC was blowing warm air) due to recent major coolant leak. They quoted us a reasonable price. They didn't try to add on extra unnecessary equipment, just what was needed. Fire and Ice was able to return with a condenser that met our needs within a few days. They then trouble shot the system to see if the condenser was the only problem. Amazingly they were able to locate a pinhole leak in the copper line which was replaced at no extra charge! The guys (Corey, Alex and Christian) were all super polite and wore masks.   We would definitely use Fire and Ice again should our other aging unit need service.

amazing amazing amazing company. first, david (owner) was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, compassionate, professional and honest. he not only explained everything to me in a way that i could understand but ordered our new ac unit and furnace immediately so i would not have to spend another 100 degree day without air conditioning. second, the technicians who came to our home and installed the new equipment were incredible and did an excellent job. very friendly but professional.  amazing.

Our AC was not blowing cold. Called Fire-N-Ice Heating & Air. They were able to come out the next day. David showed up and was able to fix our problem. He was very informative and did a great job. Highly recommended this company.

I highly recommend Fire-N-Ice Heating and Air!!! My only regret is that I didn't call him out first.  I had several other companies give me quotes or even just blow me off completely.  One company made me almost have a total breakdown because they were trying to convince me that we needed to replace our whole system due to the discontinued use of the R22 freon.  They quoted from $3k-$7k.  I was so confused because everything was working just not the air getting very cool    When I contacted Jason he responded immediately, was available to come out the very next morning, gave me a specific appointment time and showed up on time. Then he was completely honest and provided me with several options. We decided on an option that was very very very inexpensive and he got the air working again. He will be back out next week to check on it and do a Tune up on both units!  Both my husband I feel that Jason is very experienced, will be honest and will provide the best service!  We plan to keep him as our air and heating guy moving forward. Our house is now about 13 years old and we know there will need to be investments in the future so we will definitely use him when the time is right to replace the condenser, etc. but until then we know we can depend on him for any other repair we will need.  He will not try to up sale us or rip us off.  Don't go through I went through with others. Call Jason first!!!!

I called in today because I unfortunately got a busted thermostat from having my ADT security installed yesterday (they were adding new thermostat). I was able to get a them to come out today with a few hours notice. Alex did his double-check on wiring and found a busted up fuse (due to the security install). He replaced it and now we're back up/running. His attitude, craftsmanship & customer service is fantastic to say te least. I had Fire-n-Ice come out to give me a second quote on a non-working AC unit. First business told me the whole HVAC system needed replacing. Fire n Ice discovered that the breaker simply was in the off position- saving me LOTS of $$$$!
The two techs were great and I'll be using Fire n Ice for my annual maintenance now.

The technician was excellent. On time, explained everything well, efficient. The only problem I had: I only needed to have a little Freon to recharge my air conditioning. But evidently there is one price to recharge no matter how much your air conditioner requires. So for me, the service turned out more expensive than it seemingly needed to be. But the service was very good so I would most likely use Fire and Ice again.

We had Fire N Ice our yestersay just for a preventative check of our heating and cooling systems.  They are pretty old and had not been serviced since we moved in two years ago.  Isaac was on time and very friendly.  He did a great job and found a duct leak that we didn't know was there, which means we were losing air in the attic that should have been flowing into our house.  So our system was probably running longer than it should have been to heat and cool the house.  He took a picture from the attic and came down and showed me what he found. He got it fixed while he was here.  We were pleased with the service provided and the price.  He told us our systems are in good shape, and it was clear they weren't trying to up-sell anything which I really appreciated.  I was also able to arrange it all through Yelp. Their responses were very fast.  Great experience and we'll use them again in the future!

We had two units put in as well as all new duct work, new registers and new returns. This to us was a HUGE investment, so my we got four companies to come out and give us estimates. Fire and Ice came in the middle, but what won us over immediately was their ability to be on time with everything from the original meeting, estimate and start date. All three other companies re scheduled or ran very late, and not one provided the estimate when they promised us they would.
Isaac our installer was superb and his entire team was on point. We had a little mishap and Issac had it handled within 24 hours. You will no regret hiring this company, we highly recommend them!

Condenser unit went belly up. Had another company come in and diagnose, but I wanted another estimate since we are talking about a lot of money. Jason came by to give me an estimate, which was better than the previous company and I also felt more confident about getting the job done.

The install guys (forgot their names!) came on the designated day, a tad later than initially scheduled, but it's been really hot and I'm sure everyone is having problems. They were very efficient. The old pad gave them problems so they had to spend more time on it, which sucked. They worked into the beginning of the evening to get the job done.

I am very happy with the end product, service, warranty and price. The new unit pumps out the cool very well, and it so much QUIETER than the old unit...blown away by that.

My Ecobee 4 thermostat was going haywire so I called in a pro to help.  F&I responded quickly to my request for a quote and gave me a next day appointment. Communication was great and Jason arrived promptly.  

Jason checked everything carefully.  My thermostat problem turned out to be minor issue with the wiring and the system settings.  We tested it a few times together and got it running properly.  I learned a lot about my own system. (If your Ecobee4 is constantly resetting, it could be the fan control - I set mine to HVAC)  The price was very reasonable for what turned out to be a small task.  Thanks so much for your help!

There's not too many things more expensive to replace on a house than an air conditioner. We shopped several highly recommended companies in the Riverside (Inland Empire) area. We had two existing units for a two story 2,600 SF home that were 20 years old. My wife and I wanted a great company that would stand by their work and do what they say they would do. I called these guys to check my AC because the outside unit was making a clacking noise (contactor chatter) after I had a different company come and clear out my drainage line. The other guys couldn't figure it out and their solution was to try and sell me a $10,000 new AC system. My AC was not working during the hottest time of the year! I called 3 different companies for free estimates. The other companies that I called were giving me very high estimates. I read all the reviews about Fire & Ice and I was really hoping that they would call me. I was so glad that Dave called me. Dave came to my home and went over everything that needed to be done. His estimate was honest and fair and he beat all the other quotes. No brainer, I hired them!

Frank and Angel came to my home to complete the repair work. They were prompt, efficient and completed the majority of the work in one day. They replaced all the air ducts, moved the intake from the lower wall up to the ceiling, moved my thermostat upstairs and gave us a Nest. They only had to come back the next day to input the registers.

I would recommend Frank & Angel from Fire & Ice with any AC repairs. They were amazing! Thank you Fire & Ice Heating & Air! We are so happy with our AC! It works now!!!

Both of my furnace heater units upstairs and downstairs were having issues and so I found FIRE-N-ICE Heating & Air on yelp and contacted them for heater repair.  Jason contacted me right away and we scheduled an appointment for him to come out.  On the day of the appointment he gave me a heads up that he was on his way and arrived on time.

He wore booties upon entering the home and quickly got to work in the attic.  He figured out that the capacitors were bad on both of the units and needed to be replaced.  He went and got the parts from his truck and quickly solved the issue.  The heaters are now both working again.  I even told him about coming in spring next year to perform tune up service for the A/C units before the hot summer month's start.
 
Thank you to Fire -N-Ice Heating & Air for fixing our heaters in a very short time before the winter months.  I will be contacting you for all my future HVAC needs and will be recommending them to family and friends as well!!

My A/C stopped cooling 2 days ago at 2am and got an appt pretty easily.  I paid the $90 checkout fee and was told that this would apply to all non-freon work.  The technician was very good, friendly, and knowledgeable.  I agreed to add the booster to keep my ailing condenser alive but was charged an additional $280.  The part is only $15.  I'm still ok with this as they need to make some money on labor.  However, was hoping the $280 would include the $90 call fee.  I asked about this but the technician said this is what the Fire-n-ice invoice shows.

Thank goodness for Fire-N-Ice! We just moved and had the unfortunate experience of having our Central Cooling breakdown during a heatwave just a few days after moving in. We called in the afternoon and (Super) Dave Huard was out here the next morning! He took care of our issues quickly (it took about a half hour) and we had cool air again! These guys were absolutely fantastic!!  I needed someone last minute. I had reached out to 3 other companies with lots of red tape and corporate structures getting in the way of just getting a job done.

David (the owner) called me directly and gave me his cell phone. He responded to my text at 7pm at night and coordinated rearranging his crew's schedule to meet my needs at 8am the next morning. His guy showed up on time at 8am, was super courteous, and got the job done efficiently. 5 stars from me for these guys!!  Will definitely hire again when the need arises.

Also the price was reasonable when considering that one A/C company told me I would need to replace both my units. Not the case at all. Turned out to be a fairly basic job.

Had two different service calls. It started heating up and I really needed AC, especially during quarantine. My condenser blade wasn't spinning and another company quoted me a high price to fix. I decided to call Fire N Ice and a tech named Jason came out install a new motor at a fraction of the cost. He had everything done and working in about an hour.

Second call, condenser stopped working. Called Fire N Ice and they sent another Jason. Equally as nice as first tech, he did some troubleshooting and determined that a reset was needed at my electrical box. Then boom, it was working.

Now a third call, my new blade is spinning slower than normal. House isn't getting as cool. I called and was given a quote to replace contact relay via Yelp and I agreed to service. I then got a text the next day stating that the cost was much more. I text back expressing my disappointment but was not acknowledged after that. If they honor original price quote, I'll give them their 5th star and continue bragging about them to friends and family.

Great and honest company. I called them based on proximity through Yelp. The owner replied within minutes and offered to walk me through the phone. It was beyond my skill set so I requested an in person service. They sent a technician the next business day. Corey was nice and knowledgeable. The work and pricing was very transparent. I ended up using a different company to finish the heater repair because my home builder insurance kicked in finally. I will definitely be using this company in the future and I'd recommend them to anybody in need of service.

A technician came out within 30 minutes, had me explain the problem (air conditioner fan working but not cooling), did a quick evaluation, and fixed it literally within minutes. Because the repair was so minor, he didn't even charge me!

I realize that not all repairs are going to be as quick and easy as mine was, but their fast, polite service has earned them a customer for life.

David was who came out to service our AC. He was very nice and quick with finding out what was wrong with our AC and told us what the next steps were to get the AC fully repaired. They were very quick about coming and doing a maintenance and were very flexible with the time that I needed someone to come out.  Would recommend them to my family and friends for any future AC service and can't wait to get help from them again!!

Big thanks to Devon. He was transparent about a mistake that a previous technician made. He fixed it and didn't charge me. I would have of begrudgingly paid 400+ dollars if he said nothing. Honesty is everything. Hard to find service companies willing to own up to honest mistakes.

We were experiencing issues with our central air conditioner unit not cooling as well as it should. We were looking to get it diagnosed as well as looking for an estimate on how much it would cost to replacement it.

Hearing all the good reviews on yelp, Fire-N-Ice Heating & Air was on our first list of companies to contact.  

David came out and diagnosed our HVAC system today. He was very knowledgeable, trustable, and easy to talk to from the get go.

Mind you, it is the middle of summer, temperatures hitting the high 90's and he was fully booked with 3 more clients to still visit, but still took the time and effort to diagnose our HVAC system, check for any ductwork problems and making sure our AC unit was in operating condition. It turns out there wasn't anything seriously wrong needing immediate fixing, but due to prolong age of our unit and wear and tear, it just isn't working as well as it once did. I was also advised that we should be running a larger unit base on our home's square footage which could help keep our place cooler without running as hard as it should in order to save energy costs. However throughout our conversation, there was absolutely no pressure at all with making us buy or replace anything.

David provided me a quote on replacement cost for a new furnace and ac unit as a personal request from me. He was very upfront and broke down how parts, labor and other fees such as permit cost works with the city as well.

After everything said and done, including the diagnosis today (checking pressure, refrigerant levels, duct pressure, and examining our furnace.. etc) he did not charge us nothing at all. I'm very grateful for the time and effort this family business spends for their clients and can see why they are successful.

Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to have their HVAC looked into or for competitive pricing on replacement.

Fire n ice came out when my condenser fan outside stopped working. They provided me options and gave me their professional opinion on which way to go with a repair of fan or replacement of entire condenser while giving me pros and cons of each choice. I did not feel any sales pressure to make a quick expensive decision. I would recommend Fire N Ice for your AC needs.

On the hottest day this year, our A/C quit working. We got quotes from every company around and not only were they outrageous, but the time frame was a week out (understandable as I'm sure everyone was cranking on their A/C's) HOWEVER...this company came to the rescue! They were responsive, reasonable pricing and THEY CAME OUT THE VERY NEXT DAY! Corey went above and beyond! Answered every question, explained everything he was doing and didn't leave until our A/C was working properly. Wonderful customer service and highly recommended!!!

We had our AC serviced here 8 months ago and were told it just needed to have refrigerant refilled. 8 months later the AC is blowing hot air again and how could it be that we are already out of refrigerant. After doing some research apparently refrigerant shouldn't need to be refilled ever and it was probably leaking last year when we first had a problem. But they never informed us of that and simply charged us for expensive refrigerant knowing it's going to happen again.

I called in for a quote  because my AC Was not blowing cold air. they were responsive and had a technician come as soon as possible. I had looked at other companies prior and let them know I was told I had a leak, so I was shopping around for what was a better value. When the technician came he mentioned there was no leak and I was surprised. He said it was a simple fix and charged $365. I was told the $85 service fee would apply to the total and be detected which was a lie. Ac was up and running for about 5 days and then completely stopped working again. I complained and mentioned it, had a technician come in and said there was a leak. I asked for a refund because they didn't diagnose it correctly the first time & they said the leak was new and they could apply some of the repairs I paid for the first time, towards the second repair. I still asked for a refund and they never responded. Maybe it's a hit or miss depending on the technician that comes but I definitely terrible service.

In this review, I'm telling you what to look for and what to avoid because HVAC can be a huge expense and finding a good company to work with is a chore:

So we knew we needed to get our aging HVAC system replaced at some point because it's hot as hell out here and we're not trying to get left without AC in the summer, you know?

So we started getting quotes from a few different companies. Just so you know, many HVAC companies will send you a Comfort Specialist who knows how to sell you an HVAC system but doesn't actually deal with installing or fixing HVAC, so for some quotes, the Comfort Specialist never even bothered to look in our attic. Not a great sign.

However, David Huard from Fire & Ice looked up there and even caught some things that other companies didn't see. He also was patient in communicating with us through the decision process.

Still, we were on the fence because a competitor was offering us some seemingly deep discounts and rebates, but when I looked them up, the reviews were that they were great at selling and installing HVAC and terrible at coming back when there were problems. No, thank you.

I chose Fire & Ice because they were more knowledgeable and according to reviews, their level of service didn't stop after the system was installed.

The systems were installed by Daniel & Tyrone who were incredibly professional, considerate, and a pleasure to have in our home. They were super at setting up a clean workspace and not leaving any dust behind. The new units are much quieter and more efficient, which is great because, man, utilities are raising their rates!

Finally, I was glad to have a company that stands by their work. My husband asked that they come back to make some aesthetic changes to the installation, and David made sure to get it taken care of to his standards ASAP. I can honestly say I wholly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

Thank you to the owner of this company (Jason). After a rocky start, some issues with his employees, he decided to come out personally. Once he was aware of our problem, he came to our home the following morning PERSONALLY to fix the problem. He is a good guy who stands behind his work. If for any reason you are not able to fix a problem with this company, request the owners number before leaving a review. Do yourself a favor and hire this company. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how you remedy them which shows your true character.

Three weeks ago our townhouse tenant in Corona called to say the A/C wasn't cooling on one of the hottest days of the year.  This is a young family with two young boys, so I was adamant about having the HVAC system serviced ASAP.  After having the now defunct 29-year-old system looked at by another contractor, I decided to get other quotes for a new system.  David with Fire-N-Ice responded to my request for an estimate right away.  He was also the only contractor of the eight I spoke with who was concerned at all with a young family being unable to stay in their own home due to the temperature inside the house.  He actually asked another client of his to postpone his own installation in order to free the slot for my tenants.  David also reduced his estimate to come close to matching the lowest I had later received.  So in the end, after my request on Monday, my tenants had a new HVAC system installed and cooling their house on Friday.  No other contractor even suggested they could get to it that quickly.  Also, the installers Daniel and Connor were pleasant and beyond competent--in and out in about seven hours.  Thank you, David, Daniel and Connor.  My tenants and I can't praise Fire-N-Ice enough!

We were SO impressed with the amazing service they provided for us!! Highly recommend using Fire n Ice, you will not be disappointed! After having a different A/C service company come out and tell us they could not get our AC fixed then quoted us a HIGH $ amount for one AC unit, we (luckily) called around for a second opinion. We got a quick response from Jason who came out the very next morning. After looking at our AC unit for a few minutes he got it to work, no problem!! We decided to replace both our units since they were old anyway and he gave us a WAY better quote for TWO rather than the previous quotes we got for one. Not only did he give a good price, the guys who came to replace them were awesome. It looked like a lot of work and they got both our units replaced in one day. They were very respectful, knowledgeable and helpful with explaining what they were doing/how the units work etc. They deserve more than 5 stars! Our units work soo much better and efficient than our old ones and we love the nest thermostats they installed for us!

Contacted Fire and Ice and set an appointment to take a look at our AC. Isaac came out was was very knowledgeable and went through and checked everything.  For items he wanted to double check on, he was able to make a call to the office and someone was able to confirm the information he needed. The miracle that is Jason made me believe in fairies again. After 16 months of a failed AC system, and multiple fixes and bids in the thousands of dollars to fix my system, he came to my home today - and in less than an hour masterfully Sherlocked Holmes the problem. With diligence, honesty, good ol' fashioned brainwork and utmost professionalism he permanently FIXED my system by expert diagnosing a few faulty wires and replacing a substandard thermostat for an incredible price.

For a single mom of three kids, he brought a bit of grace and generosity into my life - in the form of cool air and fair trades-manship. I'm singing Fire-N-Ice's praises from the rooftops.

There is no better HVAC company in So Cal, let alone the west coast. He fixed what (4) other companies couldn't.

This is a follow up to the reinstallation of my Air Conditioning condenser.  Fire N Ice removed the condenser so I could complete the installation of concrete.  They came back to reinstall the condenser a couple feet away from it's initial placement.  I have nothing to say but excellent service all around.  They arrive when they say they will, they are knowable about there trade, they clean up after there work and they are very personable.  I use Yelp a lot to find qualified vendors to service my residence and not all are as thorough as Fire N Ice.  I will use them from now on to service my Heating and Air Conditioning needs

Ok first off, Jason you are awesome! Our heater had not been turning on and we figured with the drop in temp, we would want to use our heater.  We called fire and ice not even 30 minutes ago and they are already done and solved our issue. Jason showed, we gave him a brief description of what was going on, he went up in the attic checked things out and with in 5 minutes he figured out and fixed the the chewed up tube. He didn't try to lie to us and was up front with cost and what he repaired. Fire and ice had a fast response time, are super friendly, and super helpful. Thank goodness for Jason and your company.

If I could give more stars I would. We had an issue with our AC blowing hot air, and we called Fire N Ice and they came out to see the issue the next morning. Jason Reivley was timely, communicative, and reasonable with the pricing. He was trustworthy and honest about his recommendation for the unit. Quick Service, Saved the day!

My grandparents are late 80's young and grandma had a bit of a health setback.  Thankfully she was released from the hospital and sent home to rest and recuperate and low-and-behold when she got home the AC wasn't working and the temps were going to be in the mid 90's the next day.  Looked on Yelp saw good reviews for Fire-N-Ice and made the call.  They quickly replied and sent out Jason to take a look.  Jason had a great demeanor, got along excellent with my grandfather and had the parts needed to get the AC fixed while onsite, right before the heat of the day. The Yelp reviews on fire n ice are legit. I can see why fire n ice has 5 stars. Quick back story. They are the 3rd company that came out and To try and address my issue with the AC that stops cooling. Either the other companies did not want to try to repair it or look further into the situation but as soon as Jadon came he diagnosed the problem within two minutes. He did not try to upsell me and gave me a good solution and very good price which I approved right away for a new install on a new condenser and pad. Jason added some Freon to keep me cool until my appointment to replace the outside unit. I am very impressed with fire n ice, And hoping for the same service on Saturday will update after the install.
UPDATE:  Isaac and his assistant came out on the schedule time and date. They worked quickly, safe, and always wore their masks because of COVID times. Very professional crew. Fire and ice has a customer for life. Thanks again.

While doing some work in our attic over the weekend we damaged some of our ducting. David came out and took a look at the damage done in the attic and fixed the damage for us with ease! David Huard from Fire N Ice showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with my AC, which was in our attic-hot, hot.  Dave was respectful about his shoes in our home and even went outside to dust off his pants before sitting on the steps.  He was able to change out the motor starter capacitor, which another Fire N Ice tech had on his truck and get us cooled off!  I'm very grateful!

Great company.  Saved me a lot of money.  Jason came  out and did tune up and diagnostics on my A/C.  Replaced capacitor and checked our ducts..  cost  
$180.  Another company wanted thousands for new ducts and said we had asbestos and leak and on and on..  Jason honest .  Liked him immediately.  Honesty is a disappearing trait these days.  He also tightened screws and it runs much quieter.  I recommend him highly!!!

I received prompt and professional service.  The gas valve on my furnace needed to be replaced.  A competitor quoted me $800 Parts and Labor.  Fire -N-Ice completed the work in a timely manner for a fraction of that price.  In addition to the gas valve replacement, they identified and replaced another broken part that had not been disclosed in the quote from their competitor.  I was very grateful  for their honesty and thoroughness.  If Experience and Honesty is what you're seeking Please Give Fire-N-Ice a try.

I called Fire - N - Ice Heating & Air yesterday because of an outside drain leaking at my moms house. A different company had already been out and didn't fix the problem, instead told my mom it would be a very expensive fix (like almost a whole new unit). Jason was able to get someone out today which was huge considering how hot it's been. Eddie came out and within 40 minutes fixed the problem - a clogged drain, and a dirty coil. He was professional, polite, and friendly. I'm so grateful for this company's honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend them to anyone with A/C or heating needs. Thank you Jason and Eddie for taking good care of my mom and helping to keep her (and her rescue dogs!) cool during this HOT summer.

This review is based solely on initial customer service.  On Monday I called by 4 and someone answered stating they were closed. I called first thing Tuesday, spoke with reception and experienced technical issues over the phone. I waited in line then the calls would get hung up. When I addressed it, the person was defensive.

I finally spoke with David on Wednesday. Provided info and still no consult was scheduled. I'd to take initiative and call again on Thursday. He said he would call back either in the evening or Friday morning. It's Friday evening and didn't hear anything.

Although this business is highly recommended for their stellar customer service, I can't say that's true for me. I was hoping to get a consult with them but it seems they're selective who they want to work with. Since Monday I scheduled and completed 4 consults. All of which provided excellent customer services and were very attentive.

Fire & Ice installed a new AC and Heating unit at the end of summer. They did a great job.  The technicians they sent were always on time. They did a great job with the installation.  Once winter came around I reported a noise from the unit and they were quick to respond and very accommodating.  Isaac does great work. I recommend giving them a call.

We had Fire n Ice come out in April to clean + check our HVAC units and furnaces. The guys were great. Brand new home (our old house was over a 100 years old so no HVAC or furnace to worry about) and it was the first time we've ever had this work done. They explained what they were doing and why. So fast forward to this past Sunday when our first story HVAC stopped cooling - they were our first call. Pros: they came out within a few days, arrived early which I really appreciated, and had it working again in less than 10 min. The cons: the diagnostic was $85 and considering it took him a literal second to figure out the problem I would expect he would/could easily waive the fee since he was going to get the work and it's great for repeat business. Second con he charged $275 for a part that cost $20-30 depending on where you purchase it. I appreciate him leaving the box so I could look it up. Also thankful for this lesson that I keep thinking I've learned... until it happens again - anyone reading this - always ask for a breakdown between labor and parts. It's a shame that more and more businesses are becoming less transparent and this is necessary.

I sent out a mass message to a few AC companies to see if I can get a price quote for an AC that was no longer working. Jason was first to respond and the first to offer to come out.  The next day he was analyzing the unit and trying to pinpoint the issue.  I told him that I've had people tell me that the compressor was bad and it needed to be replaced.  He continued troubleshooting the issue saying he wanted to analyze himself because maybe it was something else and in hopes he can save me some money.  I appreciated that.  He tested the pressure, offered to top off the coolant, and even went inside and checked all wire connections on the thermostat.  We determined that the air was definitely coming out cooler but he wasn't satisfied with just being a little cooler.  He provided me with additional options and left my house way cooler than it was before he got there.  And charged me nothing for it. What a great guy and a great experience.  Thank you Jason.

Fire-N-Ice is the BEST. My home heating system failed. I notified my home warranty company. Long story short, I was left to find my own repair company. Jason was very understanding and was able to replace the system and get me HEAT!  Highly recommend the company for heating and cooling needs!  bsafe

Called Jason on Sunday, he said he'd come out Monday for free and take a look. All the other companies wanted 125-150. He found the problem and had it running within a hour. Charged me a fair price and I'm happy with his service. I will definitely use again.

A/C unit broke down this past weekend and luckily I found FIRE-N-ICE Heating & Air. I requested a quote and after a few minutes I received a reply from Jason. The scheduling was smooth and diagnosis was fast. Emailed quote on August 2nd and service was done August 3rd.

Jason was so efficient, knowledgeable and has a good customer service. He looked at the unit and just a blink of an eye he was working on fixing the Unit immediately. He changed the filter for FREE and added refrigerant for FREE!

Repair was fast and GREAT! I highly recommend their service and their efficiency. Call now and get your A/C in this blazing heat! They are the company to trust!

A few weeks ago, I began to realize my air conditioning wasn't really all that cold. It would work sometimes and not others. I did my homework and exhausted my own knowledge on what the problem could be.

I read through the reviews of Fire-N-Ice and called to see when they could come look at it for me. The representative that answered the phone was cheerful and helpful. She offered my a same day appointment that I had to turn down due to the timing, but volunteered several other options, ultimately scheduling me two days later.

On the day of the appointment, the technician had gotten delayed at a previous job. To my delight, (because my experience with customer service lately has been sub par) the receptionist called me BEFORE my appointment time to alert me to the situation. Then, when the technician was on his way, he called to give me an updated ETA. I really appreciated this small, but very important element to their service model.

Jason showed up when he said he would and got right to work. He was extremely professional and polite, and even noticed that my house is a shoeless house and offered to take off his shoes. Within 15 minutes, he had determined what the problem was. He provided a very clear description of the problem, volunteered some additional details about the age of the unit and why these things happen, which helped me understand the reasons for the problem and also the ramifications of what could come of it later down the road.

He walked me through the problem and diagnosis and then volunteered a variety of repair options. He patiently answered all my questions and even asked some good follow up questions so that he fully understood my personal circumstances. We agreed on a repair approach and before he got started, confirmed that I understood the price, benefits and potential consequences of this approach.

Within an hour of arriving, Jason had diagnosed the problem and fixed it; all for less than I was prepared to absorb. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. I could not recommend this company with any more enthusiasm. I'm sure there are plenty of companies out there that can fix the problem, but I will never know, because I will always be calling Fire-N-Ice for my heating and air conditioning needs.

We haven't had to use our air conditioner until the second week of June and of course the weather decided it was time for a spike in temperature.  Our air conditioner was running, however noticed it was not blowing very strongly nor was the air as cold as it previously was and the AC definitely wasn't cooling our home down.  We scheduled with a company who had previously serviced our AC, however they did not have availability until 2 days later.  After a night of unbearable heat for our family, I promptly decided that there was no way we could go through another 2 days of this.  We both reached out to several companies via email and phone and many did not have availability until the same 2 day time frame or the next week.  I was not looking forward to sleeping through another hot night.  After a couple hours, Jason got back to me via Yelp and managed to fit us in towards the end of the day.  Needless to say, we appreciated the prompt response and quick service.

We've been shopping around for a new heating and AC system. My house never had AC so it was a brand new install. I met and spoke w Doug while boating on Lake Havasu who I found out works for Fire and Ice. Jason from F&I came out to my place for a quote. He took his time and assessed everything including ductwork, sq ft, house location and my needs and budget. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Jason then quoted me a couple options and we decided upon a 5 ton variable heat pump system. The quote was very detailed w part names and numbers. His crew was over a week later. They were extremely polite and took care to cover floors etc. they were professional, knew their stuff, worked well together and in a little over a day the install was complete. The system is first class and Fire and Ice performed quality work in a timely manner; all the while keeping me informed and included. Fire and Ice stood by their work and didn't try to cut corners by lowballing. A positive experience all around. I would recommend this company to friends and family and to those who are looking to install or upgrade their HVAC system any time.

Our A/C refused to turn on and was making unusual noises. Called several companies and many did not answer or advised they would call back and didn't. Came across this company and decided to give them a call. The lady that answered the phone was sweet and got back to me right away. Huard responded to our home and got our A/C back up and running immediately after finding out what was the problem. Definitely recommend and prices are reasonable.

Excellent service! I was pleasantly surprised at the quick response time and next day arrival. Jason replaced the motor which operated the fan. I was back in business and cooling off in no time. In the middle of the hottest days this summer, one of our AC units stopped working and I needed someone to come repair it as soon as possible. I contacted a few local businesses and Fire-N-Ice not only had the earliest availability but when I actually scheduled an appointment they gave me a day earlier date than the original availability. David showed up on time and within 30 minutes our AC was up and running again. He also serviced the working AC for us. He was very nice and professional, and we are very happy that we chose Fire-N-Ice.  We will definitely contact them for our future AC/heating needs.
