I got Mark's name off of Yelp. He returned my call and asked me questions over the phone and told me i had a slab leak, but I told him the tank was leaking. he came out and showed me where I was wrong and THEN CHARGRD ME NOTHING. He recommended another plumber who specialized in slab leaks (I Got Plumbing) and they came out and fixed the leak in minutes.

By sending us to a specialist, we got our job done quickly and at a fair price. there is no question that Mark is a good and honest guy.

We came home from work and discovered our ceiling was sagging from a leaky pipe going to our upstairs bathroom. We called several plumbers to no avail until Evelyn answered from Efficient Plumbing. She happily coordinated an after-hours repair and called us again when our plumber was on his way. To our surprise, Hector arrived less than an hour from our initial call. He was competent and professional, and found the leak very quickly. He setup a plastic tarp to catch the water and debris as he opened up the ceiling almost exactly where the leak was. He cut out the leaking pipe section and replaced it with new copper. Total diagnosis and repair time was just about an hour, which was both impressive and efficient. Invoice came out very reasonable and we will not hesitate to call them again. Thank you Evelyn and Hector for your outstanding service!

Finally found the ONLY plumber I will call for future needs....and I've been through several. I called Mark after reading Yelp reviews and he was even more than all the good things people had to say about him. He squeezed me in because I was pressed and needed help right away AND after explaining the job over the phone and trying to get an idea of the cost he was very straight up, gave me an idea, although I didn't expect him to commit without actually seeing the job. The big surprise came after he completed the job and said this job was not as big as I expected ( although he did a GREAT JOB) so the cost will be less than what we spoke about on the phone. Everyone I spoke with prior to Mark told me it was going to be more than what he told me, yet when all was said and done he came in even less than the really fair price he told me on the phone. More than the expense, which of course everyone tries to control, it is the trust, the integrity and the fairness that immediately convinced me I found the only plumber I'll ever use. He could have charged what I expected after our phone conversation...but he was a gentleman and was completely fair and trustworthy. Save yourself the trouble ...just call Mark

After doing a little research on yelp I called Mark with a to-do list of 4 plumbing maintenance issues around our house--none were emergencies, all were annoying. Mark listened and told me what to get for his visit--a new kitchen faucet and a cartridge for the leaking bath faucet (covered under warranty from the manufacturer). When I got everything I called back and he came the next day with all the other supplies he needed. He and Chris replaced the kitchen faucet, fixed the leaky bath hot water supply and replaced the bathtub drain stoppers in both baths. The kitchen sink works better than it has in 10 years when it was first installed, and the baths are great. It is such a pleasure to deal with professionals who come prepared with a great attitude and work ethic. I am really pleased to have found this service and would highly recommend them.

Wow!! What fast, efficient service !! I called to ask them if they could come to my house to repair a leak and Evelin was very friendly and sent Hector out. He arrived in 20 minutes, looked at the leak, said he was going to start the job and gave me an estimate 10 min later . He fixed the leak very quickly and was very friendly and efficient! This happened over a month ago but procrastinated getting his review out.
I called up mark on a Thursday after finding him here on yelp. Mark's ratings were so high, I decided to try him. It is very difficult to find a reputable plumber.
It was not an emergency so he scheduled to see me as his last call on the next day, Friday.
When he got here he thought it would be an easy fix. After all, it was just a clogged toilet on the first floor level. We were having problems for months where it would work and then stop working (see, I always procrastinate)
Mark worked on it for a while and then realized it must be roots. He pulled the toilet and find an unbelievable amount of roots totaling about 3 inches wide and 6 feet long.
What amazed me also is he laughed about how the simple jobs on the end of the week turn into larger ones, but refused to stop working on it. I apologized to him for making his day even longer. He said its no problem, I'm just glad we figured out what the root cause was.
He had it fixed within 10 minutes after that and then dreaded to hear the price. I was expecting the cost to be pretty high. When he told me, I couldn't believe it. I asked him if he added it up right. He said yep. It was so low, I Immediately asked him for extra cards so I can tell others about him.

I had 3 toilets all go bad at the same time (new build so they were all installed at the same time ~7 yrs ago). I called several plumbers and either they never called back, were no shows or even had one (Mike Diamond Plumbing - buyer beware!) quote $3300 to replace all 3?!? Mark was a breath of fresh air. He's professional, efficient, experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and very accommodating (property was rental and I couldn't be there but Mark got everything done and kindly met me next day for pymt). I would recommend Mark to anybody who needed plumbing services. I'm definitely keeping him in my contact list! Thank you Mark!

Two thumbs up for efficient plumbing!

They listened when I called, showed up at the agreed upon time, completed the job in a timely manner, and had very fair pricing. Plus, they have a very pleasant disposition.

Note that I had attempted to work with 3 other plumbers on this very trivial job (valve replacements for 3 hose bibs, hot/cold feed for washer, reefer ice maker supply). All resulted in missed appointments, difficult communications, not having correct hardware when showing up etc. Hate to say it, typical contractor B*&l s*&t.

Efficient is a nice deviation from the typical.

They are my DP plumbers for life!

This is the third time I've used Efficient Plumbing and they've done excellent work all three times.

This time my washing machine drain line was clogged and I couldn't get it unclogged myself due to the p-trap at the bottom. My house is 50+ years old and the p-trap and drain line were original, which was 1 1/2 Code now is 2 drain lines and p-traps.

Mark took off the old, then snaked it and then installed new 2 plumbing. He did all of this in about an hour. He did great work, cleaned up after himself and I paid what I believe to be a very fair price.

I definitely would recommend Efficient Plumbing to anyone who asked for a recommendation!

I have to say I was a little nervous about calling a plumber. I just purchased my first home and within the first couple of days we found out that one of the sinks was clogged from the previous owners. I didn't really know who to call so I hopped on Yelp. After finding Efficient Plumbing and their glowing reviews I knew I couldn't go wrong. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint!!!

I called Mark around 1PM and his guy Chris was out there before 3PM the SAME DAY! Chris was very professional and very quick. The whole ordeal lasted just about an hour.

Efficient Plumbing's response time, expert personnel, and great prices would make them a no brainer call in the future. I highly recommend them!

My hot water heater went out Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving. As you can imagine, it would have been a disaster not to have hot water over the holiday weekend or I would have had to pay double installation fees... I'm happy with Mark's service. As part of a remodel project, we had a drain that need to be reconfigured. Once we had the appointment squared away, Marked arrived on time (very rare with contractors these days). The job was performed diligently and at a fair price. He even wore shoe covers to prevent staining my carpet.

A part of the job was quite a bit complicated and right away Mark informed me that he isn't properly equipped to do this part of job. He quickly referred me to another plumber and even made an appointment for me to come out the next day. Others may look at it and literally bite off more they can chew, charging into the project only to get problems left and right... So, its a sigh of relief, ahha.

Tips: Mark is a very well known company here, so appointments may be couple days out. However, well worth the wait.

It's normal to be skeptical of all these positive reviews and unheard of to find an honest plumber, but Mark is legit. I told him what my issue was, and not only did he quickly diagnose the problem, but I DON'T need any work done! Communicated with Mark via text it was perfect. Explained the leaking kitchen sink he suggested I but a new faucet just on case it needs to be replaced. That afternoon Christopher came by, found the issue and installed the new faucet and dish soap dispenser. It looks great, the response was fast and problem solved. I was in need of a plumber so I went to yelp. With all of the great reviews how could I go wrong? My old plumber was tough to get a hold of. I called Mark and he called me back promptly. I live out of state and needed some attention on a rental property. I sent over a couple of pictures and got a very fair estimate and a time that he would show up. He showed up on time, did a professional job, cleaned up and came in under the original estimate. My tenant said they were nice and personable people. I am very happy to give a full 5 stars on this one. If only we could get the cable company to work like this.

Efficient Plumbing is now my go to plumbing company!! Got a convenient appointment time setup couple of days ago for a 2 hr window which is very reasonable. Today, the main office called to to let me know the technician was 20 min away as a heads up which I appreciate. Christopher showed up and I explained the two problems:
1) The toilet would not stop running & 2) contact lens case got trapped down the flush value. We agreed to the quote and he started right away. Less than 45 min later, he replaced the fill valve to solve the running water issue and was able to dislodge the contact lens case. Chris did an exceptional job and was very professional!! I have no reservations in calling him back for any future needs. I highly recommend Efficient Plumbing..great first impression of the quality of work!

This review is for Mark's service last year... I found him on Yelp and after his service I had promised him to write a Yelp review, but at that time I didn't have a Yelp account yet... Now half a year later, I've finally signed up on Yelp, and I hope it's still not too late to write a good review... Mark did lots of plumbing work in our 5,000 sq. ft. house. I don't remember what exactly he did, but I do remember he became very tired after he finished all the work, so it must be a lot. His price is very reasonable given the quality of his work. Actually I called him again in January when another repair came up, but he was out of town at that time, so I used another plumber instead. Mark is always my first choice for any plumbing work in my house. I highly recommend him to you as well.

Outstanding. I needed to replace a leaky shower faucet and 2 under-sink shut-off valves with broken handles . No way to shut off water to sink if faucets were to fail. Fortunately the water was already off. Regardless, needed to replace quickly prior to further issues.

Sent a text on Sunday night to set up an appt. for anytime the following week. No need for it to be repaired Sunday evening and didn't expect to hear from him until Monday morning. Surprisingly, he Confirmed Appt for Monday within minutes.

I had a few questions regarding scope of repair. He asked me to send a couple of pictures. He told me the expected price for repairs and replacement parts that would be required. Even suggested a much cheaper alternative to replacing entire original products.

Showed up on time, completed repairs quickly and within price quoted. Extremely responsive to text messages. Quality work and a good value.

First Time

I am a little nervous when hiring contractors for our home. I found EP through Yelp, combed through the reviews and after contacting them and getting immediate response back, I decided to chose EP for a toilet replacement.

Being that my husband kept nagging me to find resolve for his thrown, ASAP, I was super excited to receive prompt response and then scheduling was easy. And although it wasn't a true plumbing emergency I knew that I needed to get the replacement complete within a couple of days. They scheduled me, replaced my toilet with a nice TOTO toilet. Christopher, my plumber gave me a few choices from low-mid level and then we decided to stick with TOTO a regarded name in the toilet industry.

I know it's just toilet replacing but because they gave me great service with this job I would definitely hire them for other plumbing jobs for our home. A good plumber is like having a good hair dresser, you kind of want to keep them for yourself so they don't get too busy or inaccessible. But I have to give credit where credit is due.

Husband is happy with the new toilet and the job went smoothly for this momma that's balancing so much already at home. I appreciate the ease of how everything went. He arrived at 12:30 and the job was completed by 3:15. Two thumbs up!

It was very easy to set up an appointment with Mark (the owner). He was also willing to give an estimate on costs over the phone (leaky bath faucet) while other plumbers I called said they could only do it in person (and charge a trip fee). His price was very competitive as well so I set up an appointment. His employee (Chris) came out and explained everything and fixed things very quickly and efficiently. They will be getting my plumbing business in the future and I already referred them to friends.

I've worked with Mark on various projects over the span of seven years. He is always on time and on budget.

I originally heard about Mark from a neighbor who highly recommended him. I've since done the same and recommended Mark to my friends and neighbors. Every single time, I've received great comments back from friends.

Mark is the only plumber that I call. I stopped worrying about getting multiple estimates a few years ago. No one can match his knowledge, dependability and ethics.

Had a kitchen sink that was leaking, found Mark on Yelp he texted me and Chris came out the next day and within two minutes discovered the reverse osmosis faucet we bought from Costco a year ago had malfunctioned and Chris told us that we needed to call the manufacturer and replace the faucet. I had them on the phone as he was writing our order up and a new faucet will be here in three days.

We love Yelp because they help funnel jobs to guys like Mark who put the customer first!!
My only complaint was that he was 45 minutes later than they quoted, but that was not a real big deal.

Mark is one of those hard to find knowledgeable, clean, and fair priced plumbers. He replaced my garbage disposal on a holiday for no extra charge and even replaced and re-worked the p-trap and sewer line under the sink for no extra charge so that everything would run smoother. Mark is the BEST!!! I found him on yelp and hoped he would be as great as his reviews. He was that and more! I called him to replace 3 toilets in my home we just purchased. I wanted TOTO and he came right out and installed all three at a great price. He was very professional, yet very personable and NEAT. I'm OCD ....LOL
Two weeks later I had him come back and replace all my faucets and shower heads. He found a new sink for my laundry room... Wow, he has been a life saver! This is the second time I have used Mark. He is without a doubt the best! You can text him with your problem, he gets back to you almost right away, and makes an appointment based on urgency. He is prompt, effcient, very professional, friendly, honest and above all, his pricing is reasonable and fair and he can be trusted to tell you what the problem is, and to fix it. This is not an industry that is not known for being trustworthy, and he is truly the excepion to the rule.. He fixed a pin hole leak in my ceiling the first time I called him (from yelp) and today fixed my toilet. I would very highly recommend him. He is the kind of service person we all wish we had for all repairs, it would make life so much easier! He is the real deal.

After buying a house, or in this case, OUR house, every and ANY place, we all have small projects to do. It could be electrical, it could interior, but one of those would be our cleaning portion of our lives. Come on, we need to wash our dirty sheets and get ready for another day in paradise. During our home inspection, it was noted that we should fix a washer connection in the laundry room. With so many plumbers to choose from, we needed one who could be out there. We found someone speedy and EFFICIENT. Let's take a quick view of Efficient Plumbing in Orange County.

After searching through Yelp, we saw a picture of a guy and his wrench. A plumber without a wrench is something to be wary of. I went to his business website and e-mailed him about our situation. Within the same day, he responded back with a straight and no fuss answer right away. He said he was available to do the work and would be there on Saturday at 2 pm. Well, Done Deal and BOOKED! When Saturday came along, we had another contractor doing some work, but then Mark texted me saying he can come earlier. For sure, if he can be done with one job, he can be at mine right now.

He came in at 1 pm and quickly introduced himself. No small talk and straight to the job. I showed him the laundry room and the rusted Washer Connections or BIBS. He said it was pretty simple. He walked outside and shutoff the water. I helped a little by opening the water faucets in the bathroom and kitchen to make sure we don't have any leftover water in the pipes. Basically, relieving the pressure on the pipes. Within seconds, he grabbed his tools from his van and got to work.

I didn't want to be bothering him while he worked. In under 30 minutes, probably even 20 minutes, he was done. He turned on the water and all the faucets were properly flowing. He was earlier than expected, he got the job done, and he was quick and simple. All I did was text him pictures and an address. Even before he left, we had a problem with a lock that we couldn't open. A key padlock. I asked him to open one since the previous owner lost his key. Mark said that Plumbers have the most tools of all trades. I guess so if he can cut through a padlock with ease.

Efficient Plumbing is a mobile service and a ONE man shop. Its not about the size of a company, but how one man does a job. I would call/text Mark in an instant if we have a project that calls for some improvement. I look forward to getting someone in and getting out. I love Mark's work and if you are in Orange County, you've got a handyman ready to fix your pipes.

It is always frightening when you are new to an area and need a plumber for the first time. After turning to Yelp for help, I saw the glowing reviews for Mark at Efficient Plumbing. I sent him a text and he responded with a matter of minutes. I explained that I had a leaking shower drain. He gave me a time he would be at my house and arrived precisely on time. He diagnosed and repaired the problem in a matter of a few minutes and charged far less than I had expected to pay. BEST PLUMBER EVER! I was supposed to write this review months ago...but better late than never. On his first visit, Mark replaced our garbage disposal and kitchen faucet. He recommended the best brands to buy, which we purchased from Home Depot and Costco. He installed them at a very reasonable price. He did such a quick, efficient job that we contacted him to replace our pop-ups and p-traps today. He arrived early, worked quickly, cleaned up and was finished in less than two hours. We love Mark's reliability and reasonable prices! Even better, we can contact him by text and he always responds in a timely manner. We have been through FIVE local plumbing companies and are glad that our search for a reliable plumber is finally over!!!

I called Mark months ago to get a quote on installing a new kitchen faucet, and his quote was by far the cheapest.... several hundred dollars cheaper. We ended up holding off on the faucet, but knew to call him for the hot water heater. He came over for a free estimate and quoted a very reasonable price (another place quoted us a few hundred dollars more). We made an appointment, and he came over and replaced our hot water heater, but he needed to purchase some parts and come back to complete job. Not his fault at all, because the builders of our house used very cheap and rarely used material, which he needed to find in order to replace it. He went above and beyond and looked for it at several locations before finally locating it. Anyways, he came back a few days later and completed the job. Mark's a super nice guy, and not to mention he's great at communicating via text message. Can't go wrong!

Mark runs this business really well and I could tell that he does what he can for his customers. He also supports his guys on the field which is always a good sign that a business owner is caring and reasonable.

Chris came to answer our call for a broken/leaky sink this morning but didn't have a part that was needed. The part isn't typically carried in their trucks because it's rare that they need it. Mark came shortly after with the part and finished the job. I think they did the job efficiently and for a really fair price. It was also really easy to communicate with Mark through text.

Both Mark and Chris were professional and courteous. I highly recommend them!

Tip: Pay with either cash or check. I knew this because of the yelp reviews and I confirmed with Mark when I spoke on the phone with him. They accept credit cards as well but there's a fee.

He works tidy and keeps the work areas clean. He is forthright and does a great job. He cares about his work. I would never call any other plumber again.

I do understand why Mark at Efficient Plumbing gets such rave reviews. Well....this is a plumbing company that is the best. Mark came out to our home on a Saturday on the hottest day of this year to repair our hot water heater located in the garage that suddenly stopped working. We called and within a couple of hours he was at our home to inspect and said he could fix it right away. He made a special trip to the hardware store for the parts
and he did get it fixed and all within about an hour. He is so honest and did not charge a fortune for repairs which most companies charge for Saturdays and after hours. We just moved to this area and it is so hard to find new services, especially when you do not know anyone. This is our plumber, forever. Just hope he doesn't retire or move.

Mark is the man! Our hot water heater died, I called him at 8:30 am and he and his guys were at my house with a new one by 11:00 am. He went the extra mile to secure the new appliance and he added an extension pump for no additional cost (although I forced him to take $100 extra from me for his excellent service). Before I moved here years ago, I reached out to Mark--based on his excellent reviews on Angie's List--inquiring about water softener installation. His response was not only prompt but detailed. Although I didn't have Mark install the water softener I remembered him when I did need plumbing assistance years later. Mark did not disappoint and he's been the only plumber we've called since. My latest fiasco--the valves in my toilet tank seemed off and toilet kept running and of course I had no idea what was wrong so I made an appointment with Mark (easy as usual). But before said appointment the toilet was fine again so I texted Mark and through that conversation he let me know what to check for in case the valves started doing something weird again--could be a quick fix! So we cancelled the appointment for now. What a nice person. Glad to have found him! Thanks, Mark!

Our refrigerator water shut-off valve was corroded shut. Mark responded to my call the next day, 8/24/2011, which was fine for a non-emergency. He provided an estimate and repair process description before arriving (on time). He and his assistant Chris worked efficiently together as a team. They were very courteous and wore their booties. They brought all the parts and supplies with them, replaced several parts requiring a solder connection, cleaned up nicely and completed the job in less than an hour. The final invoice was exactly what Mark estimated, a fair cost for all the work and expertise he provided, which included cutting into and patching the wallboard. I will absolutely call Mark again for our plumbing projects.

Decided to call Mark based on the yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I had been told by another company that I needed a new pressure regulator but they wanted to charge me an amount I knew was too high. Mark came and gave me a reasonable price for that part to be fixed and also fixed my other problems in the shower. He was there on time, fixed all of the problems I was having very quickly and was very nice as well. Now my shower is back to how it was when I moved in 12 years ago. Super happy with Mark's work and will definitely call him again.

I was going to replace a shower diverter faucet myself. The good news was that I was able to get the old unit off without even using a wrench. The bad news is that it was so corroded, a part of it was left attached to the copper piping. The lime deposits were stronger than the corroded metal of the diverter. Since this is more than I wanted to deal with, I decided it was plumber time. Based upon the Yelp reviews, I gave Mark at try. He came out the next day and fixed the thing in no time. The cost for parts and labor was less than what most of the other guys wanted for just the service call. So, compared to some of the other plumbers that we've dealt with in the past, this guy is top notch.

I got tired of our old builder's toilet on the first floor getting clogged from time to time so decide to upgrade to a Toto. Contacted Mark by text and he suggested a Toto Eco Drake. Scheduled the appointment, Mark came out and installed it in record time, using a dropcloth and wet/dry vac to ensure no debris of any sort was left behind. I'm super happy with the new toilet (Toto makes the best in the business) and as luck would have it, our kitchen sink faucet developed a leak the day after, so I contacted Mark again and this time Chris came out, super courteous and professional, and installed the Costco faucet I bought, also to my complete satisfaction. Would definitely use these guys again -- and I did just that!

Outstanding service!

I was having toilet trouble last week and called about 6 people, Mark got back to me right away, I asked him for an estimate and he told me to take a picture and send it to him via text. I did just that, and he called me back within 5 minutes and said it was an easy fix and that he could just tell me how to fix it over the phone! He was right on the money, it worked like a charm, and the best of all, it was FREE!!!

He also said if there is still problems to call him and he gave me a very reasonable quote.

Highly recommended, professional, friendly, efficient is the right word!!!

It is extremely hard to find a responsive plumber who is reasonably priced, honest AND does a fantastic job with a quick turnaround. Chris, from Efficient Plumbing, came to assess my kitchen faucet and EFFICIENTLY identified the problem - hard water buildup, rendering the faucet hardly useable. He returned two days later, replaced the faucet quickly, cleaned up very nicely after himself and professionally provided a receipt with the description of work done. Mark was our savior this past Thanksgiving -- not only once, but TWICE in the same day. A few hours before guests were set to arrive, our kitchen sink backed up, prohibiting us from doing any dishes in the kitchen. After taking apart everything under the sink, it became obvious the problem was much further down and we'd need some professional help.

I found Efficient Plumbing on Yelp and immediately reached out, first by calling and then texting. Mark got back to me very quickly and agreed to come by as soon as he put his bird in the oven. He told me the cost ahead of time so i knew what to expect.

He came by right on time and was extremely friendly. We are on the 3rd floor of our condo building and he had to snake 60 feet down to unclog the blockage, but eventually cleared it up and our Thanksgiving continued (and we could finally do dishes).

At 10:30, our downstairs neighbor came up when he got home from dinner and found his sinks full of water and his kitchen floor flooded. Since he wasn't home earlier, Mark was not able to check to make sure the blockage wasn't affecting him.

Unfortunately, I had to call Mark back out but he came back around 11:15 and helped cleared out the remaining blockage that affected downstairs.

Still friendly.

Hopefully I'll never need a plumber for something like this again, but if I do, i will not hesitate to call Efficient Plumbing. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

The pressure cartridge in my shower wasn't working, making the water boiling hot (no cold water). Efficient plumbing saved the day. So happy with their service. I called Efficient Plumbing this morning, after another company failed to follow-up as they had said they would do. Mark (the owner) and Chris just left and they were wonderful. On a recent Sunday night our garbage disposal literally broke apart on us under the sink. My wife told me to forget about trying to fix it myself as she didn't want to wait a week or two for me to take 10 trips to Home Depot to buy the right parts while she needed to use the sink.

To make a long story short, I had read the great reviews on Yelp, so I texted Efficient Plumbing the next morning for a quote, got a response back right away, and set up an appointment with Mark the same day. He showed up on time, replaced the disposal and impressed us as being very straight forward and efficient.

I'm looking forward to having Mark help us with all of our plumbing needs going forward, and I will recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

I have been a homeowner for 34 years and have never been as impressed with any plumbing service as I've been with Efficient. I called Mark at Efficient on a weekend saying it was no emergency (one of 4 toilets wasn't working and there was a leaky faucet) and he texted me back immediately to say they couldn't get to my house in Laguna Beach until Monday and if that was OK (which it was). On Monday Christopher (he and Mark work together) called to ask if he could come an hour early (which was fine). Christopher immediately diagnosed the problem with the nonfunctional toilet (a simple flap problem), checked out the other toilets in the house (which he said were fine), fixed the faucet leak and advised us against the expense of installing pressure assist toilets (an idea of mine). The total bill was extremely reasonable! Mark and Christopher were very honest (there were no high pressure tactics to sell us any expensive repairs or fixtures) and it was pretty clear they are straight forward and just do the work that is necessary. This was/is very rare and highly appreciated; we are retired and when service people hear that we are in Laguna Beach one has the feeling that prices double. This is not the case with Mark and Christopher. Can't recommend these guys more highly!

This company should be called Efficient, Reliable, Reasonable, Professional and Friendly Plumbing! Mark replaced my main shut off valve, regulator and hose spigot. He arrived on time and came fully prepared after viewing the picture I sent him. He immediately got to work, wasting no time. I recently had another plumber come to my house to give me a bid for this job, and they told me they wouldn't be able to do it without replacing my entire main water line. After a neighbor told me he didn't think that was necessary, I gave Mark a call. Mark didn't try to convince me I needed the entire main line replaced; in fact, he warned me about other plumbers who would probably do just that. Mark clearly knows his stuff, and it's clear his goal is to do an honest, professional (and efficient) job that will leave his customers happy. I highly recommend Efficient Plumbing, and have no doubt Mark can tackle any type of plumbing challenge that comes his way, and will do an outstanding job!

I needed a couple of vanity faucets replaced and possibly a couple of shut off valves. I had used Efficient Plumbing a few times over the years with great results so, after seeing they have maintained there outstanding Yelp review, I called them again. After sending over a few photos of what I needed done I received a price quote. I did this via text out of convenience and they were very quick to respond. Just to be thorough I had another plumber I trust provide me a quote as well. Both quotes were fair, but Efficient Plumbing's quote was a little bit less. I made an appointment and Steve the plumber arrived right on time. After evaluating the job, Steve advised that the shut off valves were in working order and they did not need to be replaced. I appreciated the honesty. Steve finished the job in a timely manner with great attention to detail. When the old faucets were removed, stain lines became evident. Steve made me aware of this and allowed me to provide some Bar Keepers Friend to clean up the area before the new faucets were placed. Attempting to remove the stains after the fact would have been very difficult. Once the job was finished Steve patiently reviewed the work with me and it was flawless. He explained everything he did and tested to ensure the perfect install. I was very impressed all the way around with Steve and the company. I will be calling them back out for any of my future plumbing issues.

We were having difficulty finding a good plumber. We read excellent reviews about Efficient Plumbing and called. We received an immediate reply and we discussed details. Hector came to our home on time and was excellent. Our low water pressure had been so low. He did an excellent job of troubleshooting and offered a solution. We came to an agreement on the solution and price. Now we have excellent water pressure again!! Hector replaced the PRV (pressure regulating valve). We are so grateful and happy to have a shower that is not a dribble!! Thank you Efficient Plumbing for being responsive, caring, honest and delivering a solution to our problem!! Mark (owner/operator) came out to our house in January. We had a leak underneath our master bath that was leaking into a kitchen cabinet underneath. We had already had a few plumbers out to look at it who told us that they had to tear up large chunks of our home to access the area. Mark took a look and decided he could fix the issue without destroying our home in the process which we really appreciated. The ultimate fix ended up being more work than Mark expected, but he stayed true to his original quote and didn't attempt to bill us for the additional work. It's this kind of work ethic that we look for in contractors, and would certainly use his services again. He was prompt, courteous, and did great work so we would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs!

Had a backup in a shower that required immediate attention. Called and with in a few hours Titus showed up. He showed up in the window he was supposed to, a text arrived prior to his arrival. When he showed up, the conversation was professional, reviewed the quoted amount to confirm it, and with in 20 minutes had the problem solved, the area cleaned, bill paid, and departed. Mark was great, showed up on time after a phone call to let me know he was running late. $150 to repair a leaking shower. Replaced a Delta valve. I needed the hot water recirculating pump replaced in my garage, easy location and access.
The pump is made by Taco model 006-BC4 and it sells for $279 on Amazon.

I was quoted $450 for the pump and then a additional $450 for installation to sweat 2 pipes together. The job should take 30 minutes max but l was quoted a 3 hour job @ $150 per hour.

Where's the justification??

We were having difficulty finding a good plumber, we have used many. Read good reviews about efficient plumbing. Chris and Alex came out did a great job and showed the job that the other should have done. We have a house warranty because of all the issues using it we decided simply to call an independent plumber and these guys were the ones to use. After using numerous plumbers before if we would've used in the first place it would've been cheaper doing the job correctly the first time.

Everything you want a plumbing company to be, but too afraid to ever think you would find!

I didn't receive a call back from my previous plumber so figured it was time to find a new one. Like many of the reviewers on here, I read through all the reviews and chose Efficient. Yes, it's true, they are as great as everyone says they are!

Christopher and Alex showed up within their window of time and promptly got to work replacing 2 toilets within 2 hours. Trustworthy and experienced experts that know what they are doing. And fair pricing on top of it all. It is obvious that they take great pride in doing a professional job. These guys are a class act!

I called Efficient Plumbing last night but got a voicemail so I also sent a text (per his voicemail instructions). He texted me back and told me they could come out today at noon.

Today at exactly 12:00pm, my doorbell rang and one of the plumbers came in to inspect the sink. After about 30 minutes, he concluded that the low water pressure and the leak were being caused by the faucet itself. He told me he could replace the cartridges inside the handles, but it may not even fix all the problems like a new faucet would and it would end up costing almost as much as just replacing the whole faucet .

I told him we will just replace the faucet since it is really old. He gave me a quote for a faucet install when we decide to buy a new one, but he also took the time to explain to me how to do it myself if I want to.

After he was done explaining everything, he didn't even charge me for the visit. The fact that he took the time to come out to my place on short notice, inspect and troubleshoot the problem, and explain to me how to fix it without charging me ANYTHING, shows me what kind of people these guys really are. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, efficient, and honest.

They have earned my respect and I will definitely give them a call if I ever need any plumbing services.

Text Mark with the problem I had and he text back he does not like to do what I needed done. Asked him who he would recommend that was as good as him, and he text back, no one; and said he would be out the next morning to do the job. He showed up on time, did the work to perfection and charged me what I would consider a more than fair price. Have used several other plumbers and they have now been deleted from my list.

We have had so much work done on our home related to water and plumbing in the past year and not by choice. Anyways, after a string of insurance company and other contractor plumbers who continually were flakey and incompetent; I came on yelp and found Mark. I cannot say enough good things about him. Responsive, honest, helpful, kind and fixed every wrong thing every other plumber did at amazing rates. In fact, we had a problem with an expensive valve and his first trip out he showed me that I had in fact been sent the wrong part...I had to acquire the correct part and have him come back out - that second trip was about a 15 minute visit to make the repair and he refused to take our money on the second trip. I just have not come across too many people in the service industry as responsive, competent, and honest that do such high quality work. I have never given a review on yelp before - so he was so good, he got me to do this yelp review thing!!

Mark arrived promptly at 11am this Saturday, and looked extremely professional and handed me his business card right away. 30 minutes later the problem with my ToTo toilet was fixed with ToTo parts, (that HE HAD ON HIS TRUCK), and for a reasonable price. He is the most professional and efficient, (no pun intended) plumber that I have ever interacted with. I will use Mark and his company for all of my future plumbing needs. I am glad I trusted all of the Yelp five star reviews. They are true. P.S. Mark was very easy to get a hold of via text and he responded very very quickly.

Great service! Let's face it: plumbing is expensive. When you can find a plumbing company that charges reasonable prices AND is honest to boot, you hold onto them like grim death!
Efficient Plumbing is that company. Mark arrived on time, gave us a fair estimate and returned when he said he would to complete the task. He did a great job and we will ask for him again in the future.

I don't leave many reviews, but i felt compelled to this time. I am very impressed with the work of Efficient plumbing. Mark was right on time for the appointment. I had a leak in the kitchen ceiling that was caused by a pinhole leak in the copper pipe. He fixed it with minimal drywall cutting.
Mark's work ethic is what impressed me. This is what plumbing should be. Honest, efficient, at a very reasonable price. I have told my friends and they all wanted his contact info. I would highly recommend.

Had a few minor things that needed fixing around the house where I wasn't comfortable fixing since I needed the right tools and knowledge. They were the kitchen faucet hot water cartridge (you couldn't unscrew the level from the top since there wasn't a screw to remove after you popped it open), the jack and jill bathroom hot water wasn't working (I couldn't remove the cartridge since it was stuck in there real good and you need a proper tool or you could end up busting your pipes if you pulled too hard), and the garbage disposal.

My wife was at home when Efficient Plumbing came and he changed out the garbage disposal first in 20 min with the new garbage disposal, no more leaking and worked fine, then onto the shower and sink. Everything was done in about an hour...now talk about quick. This would have taken me like half a day. His price was very reasonable too compared to other plumbing companies we asked for quotations and free estimates.

About a year ago, I went through a full-on home remodeling project, and through it all, I got to experience the torture of finding people who are legit, honest, and professional. I can seriously say that Mark is one of the best guys that worked on my project. He was honest, and professional; the price he quoted me was a bit higher than I had in mind, but he stuck to it, no hidden fees and he showed up on time and did the job in exactly the estimated time. I've worked Mark to install mty touchless faucet in my brand new vanity. It needed a new valve and p-trap. I sent photos so that he can give me a good estimate over the phone.
Service 5 stars: Chris his new employee came right on time. He was very nice. He laughed when I mistaken him for Mark. He did not freaked out when my dog had an accident in front of him cause my dog is old and got nervous. He was clean, fast and knowledgeable with what he's doing. He tried to look for a better looking valve and is willing to get one in the store but I told him what he had will do.
Cost 5 stars: Mark gave me an estimate on the phone. But it went up and told me I will need a new valve. After talking to Mark again he decided to honor his original estimate. Good man!
Workmanship 5 stars: no leaking wster. Everything looks in place.
Efficient Plumbing is my go to guy for plumbing.

I had a leak in my toilet that caused damage to the downstairs bathroom and the owner was also trying to claim that I damaged the walk in closet in the master bedroom as well. Had Steven and his crew come out and they were able to identify that the shower door was the cause of the water damage in the closet by showing the owners that the water was leaking out of the door and onto the floor. Great detective work and they saved my arse!

My water pressure regulator needed replacement. I had home warranty from the previous owner, but the plumbers (who were rated 1 star everywhere) that came out wanted an extra $130 for work not covered. I figured if I was going to pay, I want a *real* plumber, so I looked around and was drawn to the 5 star review on Yelp. Mark was very responsive and I was able to take a picture and get a quote over the phone. The difference between what Mark charged and what I would have to pay with the insurance company was $35 and Mark included the replacement of the value with it, so it was a no brainer to go with Mark. It was late in the day, but he was able to come out the next day.

In the end, not only did Mark replace the regulator and the value, but he replaced the faucet head as well, so the entire section was new--all for the price originally agreed upon! He also cleaned up smoothed out the soldering and cleaned up the floor. Great price, great work, great communication and great customer service makes for a great combination for a plumber. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough great things about Efficient Plumbing. I use them for all my plumbing needs. This time my water heater went out. It was due. Over 13 years old. Thought we had a pinhole leak in our wall. Not knowing any reputable people, I did a Yelp search for local plumbers and found Efficient plumbing. The site had a lot of 5 star reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. I called Mark, explained the situation and arranged for him to come the next day. He showed up on time (!!), found the problem, ( it WAS a pinhole leak) removed the bad pipe, soldered in a new piece of pipe and was done in less than 30 minutes! And even better, his charges were very reasonable. All in all I was very pleased with his service and he is my plumber of choice from now on.

Efficient plumbing was great. Had an outdoor water main leak near the connection to the house. I called Efficient Plumbing, they contacted me promptly and was able to send out a plumber within 2 hours. Came out about 15 min after I texted even though our problem wasn't a critical issue. After checking out our house he was able to diagnose the issue and get to work. Very professional. Never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. Fixed the problem and even fixed our house's water pressure after I had mentioned that it had always been low. It's been a couple years since we had these guys out to fix our water heater, but they were excellent. Our water heater quit heating during the holidays. We were prepared to endure three days without hot water, but they showed up within an hour or two of our call, had the needed replacement part on their truck, charged a very reasonable rate, and didn't even charge extra for coming out in a rush on a holiday. Would definitely call them again.

My mom, who lives alone, was quoted over $700 for a slow drain from another very large company that advertises like crazy on TV, clearly trying to rip off an older woman! This is a great plumber! We've had a home warranty for the longest time, and were never able to choose our own repairmen when things broke down. Every plumber we've had before has been sub par, and our leaky noisy toilets never seemed quite fixed. So this year, we finally ditched our home warranty and picked our own plumber. Call Mark about a hot water pressure problem at my rental property located in San Clemente. Usually hot water pressure is a pretty simple DIY fix, but boyfriend and I couldn't pull out the cartridge in the shower. There was just too much mineral buildup. So I called around to a few plumbers in the and area and told them my situation. Everyone wanted to charge around 200-250. Finally found Mark on yelp and he gave me a much cheaper quote!
On the day of our appointment, he did arrive later than promised. But he contacted me to let me know he was running late.

He did a great job! From now on, I'll just call Mark for all my plumbing needs. :)

Titus came to our rescue and fixed a leaky pipe that was in a tricky spot in the garage. We had reached out to Efficient asking for a quote via Yelp, and they got back to us within literally two minutes. We sent them photos and they were able to estimate a cost range for us, which helped with budgeting. Although we got a quote for less money from one of their competitors, we felt more comfortable with the competency of Titus.

We also really appreciated the follow up later that day to make sure the leak hadn't returned. That's good customer service.

Found Efficient Plumbing on Yelp and all of the great reviews are spot on. Scheduled appointment for a leaky shower faucet that was also making a loud clanking noise. They confirmed the appointment, there was great follow up and even a heads up when they were on their way. Titus showed up on time, was a complete gentleman and efficiently completed the job. Initial quote I received was from Rooter Hero, simply because of my quest to use at least one random coupon per year. Well, as expected from hindsight of their yelp reviews, Rooter Zero gave me some crazy quote and told me that the coupon didn't apply. It apparently only applies when a lunar and a solar eclipse happen simultaneously on a Tuesday at 3pm. No shock there.

So I then decided to do what anyone with two working brain cells firing simultaneously would do and went to yelp for suggestions. I found Efficient Plumbing and they absolutely defined why they have a five star review history. The appointment was a little delayed but I was updated three times! That's three times more than most. I can understand because some jobs take longer than expected and if I needed my toilet napalmed to open up the pipes, well I expect them to take their time.

Christopher was the plumber and he did a fantastic job with our master bath sinks. He explained the issue, worked efficiently (no pun) and got the job done well. I appreciated the thoroughness and the cleanliness. Everyone needs to know a good mechanic, electrician, and, plumber. These guys definitely check that last box well. Thanks again.

I found Mark on Yelp.

I had a toilet that was making some crazy noises and everyone told us it was water hammering in the pipes. My father in law was ready to open the wall and spray some sh*t in there to hold the pipes down. I'm glad we didn't go that route...

So I called Mark and his voicemail stated if you text him, he may be able to reply more quickly. So I did that and he was incredibly responsive. Due to my work schedule and him going out of town it was about a week to two weeks before he came out. The wait wasn't an issue for me since this wasn't a major issue.

When he came out it was an easy peasy fix - a cheap part. So it would have been an easy fix, had I known what I was doing. But lucky for Mark... I don't!

He was very quick and professional. He even worked around my cat - who sat in the doorway to the bathroom while he worked. Curiosity really will kill that boy.

I will use Mark again but hopefully won't have to any time soon.

Absolutely LOVE Mark! He is SUPER friendly, very very knowledgeable, and fast. He truly is Efficient! I had just bought a house and moved down to Ladera from Hollywood. I had warranty for 1 year so I tried getting them to fix my plumbing issues. But they kept giving me plumbing companies that would not show up and reschedule and then not show up again. Wasted my time and patience. It went on for a month and a half. My kitchen faucet would just trickle and the water pressure was so low and washing the dishes would take forever. Also, my upstairs bathroom only turned on hot water and so I couldn't take a shower in that bathtub for 2 months waiting for plumbers that wouldn't show. I was pretty fed up with dealing with plumbers with bad service. I don't even know about their workmanship cuz they just wouldn't even show up. My friend referred their handyman, so he came to try and fix the problem, but it just made matters worse. So I called Efficient Plumbing because they had the best reviews. Mark responded to my text almost immediately. He asked for pictures of the faucet and my problem. Gave me a quote over the phone and showed up in a few hours. Awesome!!!!! When he fixed the problem, he billed me for less than what he quoted me for! I asked him to check my bathroom too and he knew what the problem was immediately. He taught me about things I should watch out for, how to use my water heater, where my main water valve was. (my husband knows all that but I didn't) Totally took the time to really go through what he was fixing, why, and how to tweek the faucet regulator if I ever wanted to. Just for all of that, I would have paid the original amount, but then he gives me additional discounts. The plumber of my dreams! Soooo glad I found him. No wonder he has the best reviews.

Just another satisfied customer here ...

Called Efficient Plumbing (which is actually just a one-man operation, run by Mark) to get a quote for running a natural gas line to an outdoor grill. Mark was able to come by after work hours, to accommodate my schedule, and talked me through several different options.

Once we agreed on where the pipes would go and a fair price for the job, he was patient enough to hang on for 2 weeks while I made sure my neighbors knew a plumber would need access to their yard.

The natural gas line had to go along the side of my house and Mark was very strategic about placing the pipe under a small overhang to make it less visible. He was an absolute artist with the careful placement of the pipe! And high quality pipes with an extra safety valve too!

I also appreciated the fact that I could communicate with him via text and he was cool with installing the pipe while I was at work, watched over by my nanny-cam of course, you can't be too careful :)

Overall, a very pleasant transaction. I highly recommend!

My problem was a only a clogged bathroom sink, but the response was the same day. Hector arrived within 5 hours of my telephone call and took care of the sink problem as well as improved the shower drainage--a plus! I called Mark based on Yelp Reviews. He was able to come out within a couple of hours from my call. It was a minor toilet issue that I'd been tinkering with myself and finally gave up and called a plumber. The part I needed is apparently not generic but he had it in his truck. He wasn't here more than 15 minutes. So, Efficient Plumbing is not misleading. He's cordial, speedy and his price was competitive.

We first called Efficient Plumbing because there was a small amount of water leaking through the wall of our garage. They had an appointment the next day and Titus was our plumber. He did an outstanding job of finding and repairing a hairline fracture in an incoming water pipe.

We are already return customers because we had Titus come back today and replace the hose bib on our back patio hose.

We are extremely happy with Efficient Plumbing because they are professional, honest, timely, and have reasonable (but definitely not cheap) prices. We will continue to call Efficient Plumbing for future needs.

In the meantime, I called Efficient Plumbing and Mark, who was very polite on the phone, rearranged his schedule so that he could come by the same day and made me a quote. Turned out the quote was $600 less than the affordable plumber who had just arrived in our driveway. We told that plumber to leave, we had another, more reasonable quote.

All of a sudden, the plumber dropped his price to match Marks, and since he was also charging $100 just for the visit, we just felt we had to go with that plumber...

But next time, I will definitely call Mark first. He was a pleasure to deal with, gave me a good price, and was remained pleasant even when I told him we werent using him that day. Thanks, Mark!

My kitchen drain was not draining like it used to and I knew I had to call the dreaded plumber. Thoughts of inflated drain snaking prices flashed in my head. One of our toilets was leaking a lot. We called Efficient Plumbing to fix it and they were able to send Hector out within 3 hours of my call. Hector was professional, polite and efficient. He changed out the hose and valve very quickly and the price was very fair. We also had him check all of our hoses/valves and he gave us great suggestions.

These guys are great! I recently had a flooded bathroom which required clearing a main line plus reseating a toilet. Fantastic service! They were very friendly and did a great job. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I was treated very poorly by another plumbing company (Mr. Handyman of Southeast Orange County) when I was attempting to have my dishwasher fixed. We just had Mark replace two of our toilets and he did an excellent job. He was really thorough, didn't cut any corners, and made sure we had the highest quality work completed. He replaced our 25 year old toilets with high efficiency water saving Toto toilets and cleaned the floor and made sure everything was spotless before he installed the new toilets. Often when companies have words like Best, A1, Affordable etc. in their name, they aren't. Maybe that's what they aspire to be or maybe they are just misrepresenting themselves.

In the case of Efficient Plumbing, they are efficient in every sense of that word. On-time (or let you know why it is taking longer), knowledgeable about plumbing and they do a great job at a fair price. I have used various plumbing services over the years, some good, some not so good, but I'd have to say Efficient Plumbing is among the best, if not THE best.

I had a dripping shower/bath combo faucet that within a short period moved from a slight drip to something more serious. Also had a couple toilets that were doing the 'ghost flush' thing -- making noise in the night and wasting water.

I texted Effcient Plumbing (their preferred way of contact - although you can call or e-mail as well). Mark responded within a few hours, but indicated he was booked solid for a couple days. I wasn't in a major hurry, and given the good reviews here on Yelp, wanted to give them a try. I booked his next available slot.

Mark arrived on-time. Once he had a look at the shower/tub faucet, he identified possible causes and fixes, from worst case scenario to best case. The fixtures were an off-brand, so he indicated if parts needed replacement, he might not be able to get major parts and might have to replace it. At the low-end was something simple like a washer failure (but that seemed unlikely). Once he started the work, he determined it was a combination of the washers and seatings. Replacing just the washers would do no good, but presuming he could find seatings that fit, it would not be major either. He had to do some hunting to find them (and let me know why that took a while), but was successful. After the repair (which didn't take too long), there is no leaking and the handles are better aligned and work better than before. He also advised how tightly to close them so as to shut off the water, but also not wear out the washers and/or seatings.

He replaced the flapper on one of the toilets (a common Kohler model) and adjusted the second one, which is also a Kolher but a Lowboy model which he didn't have a flapper for at the time. He said he'd get one and stop by to replace it next time he's in the area -- at no additional service visit charge.

Overall Mark was very knowledgeable about products and repair procedures, explained things well and was pleasant to work with throughout the process. I will definitely use Efficient Plumbing again and recommend them to others (via Yelp and personal word-of-mouth).

This guy is a fantastic plumber!!! He helped us unclog our rental and it was fast and painless. He's really honest and you can tell he takes lots of pride in his work. Only tip I have is that if you text him and he doesn't respond, you might want to follow up with a phone call. Honest, honest and more honest. I'm writing this review because efficient plumbing came out to fix a clogged drain a my mom's place. On time, friendly, and honest. The drain was very clogged and they did a great job of just getting it to drain at all (I spent many hours snaking it and got nowhere a few days ago). They wouldn't even take payment for their hard work and service because it drained slowly. That kind of pride in work and integrity and very rare in this day. We had problem with 2 bathroom sinks backed up for days so I did some calling around last Thursday.

Chris got back to me right away and told me he can stop by around 5:30pm which was perfect because I was at work at the time. He not only showed up on time, he got right to work and got everything cleared in 1/2 hour and cleaned up the area and he was extremely efficient and professional and very polite.

This review reflects the job done by Chris who came by my place to fix one clogged toilet and one very slow moving toilet. It turned out that a toy was stuck in the one of the toilets, and he spent over two hours to have it removed. I really appreciate his effort to clear up the clog. While there was a difference in price between over the phone quote and the actual charge, I appreciate Mark for calling to resolve it. So I attempted to save time and money by replacing a drain/p-trap on my own instead of calling any professional services. How hard could it be? Well, after a week with no bathroom sink, a cracked pipe, 4 trips to home depot, 3 sets of returns and uselessly flawed equipment, & old decrepit plumber's putty falling INTO MY eyeball, I ended up finally calling Mark. He came out at 7am before I leave for work, got everything fixed up within minutes and used his own cheaper parts so I could return the mess to home depot and get my $ back. My father's bathroom faucet broke. He lives an hour away from me. What to do? Check Yelp, of course. I had tried a plumber with good Yelp ratings, and he came and checked the faucet, but gave me a price quote that was too expensive for Dad's limited resources. Efficient Plumbing had great ratings, so I called and spoke to Mark. He suggested that I buy the faucet and he would install it. He had me send him a picture of the faucet so he could tell me exactly what I needed to buy in terms of type (8 inch widespread vs. 4 inch centerset). I checked out the different styles and prices online and at Home Depot and bought a faucet. Mark was very responsive to my questions via text message. We arranged a time. His assistant came out and installed the faucet, and that was that. I appreciated the alternative option and the good communication. If another plumbing issue comes up, I'll call Mark again.

I contacted Efficient Plumbing because I noticed a leak in my ceiling yesterday. Evelin answered my call and scheduled Hector for later that same day and she advised me to shut my water off in the mean time to stop any damage from occurring. Hector came out on time and was courteous and professional. He performed a leak detection and found the source of the leak quickly. Our sixteen-year-old water heater sprang a leak at 5pm on a Thursday before a holiday weekend. I called around and a lady at Efficient was the only live person I reached, everyone else went to voice mail. To be fair to them it was after business hours and all of them did return my call. I did my homework on pricing on new heaters and Efficient's price was fair. They said they could come by Friday afternoon and I agreed. That appointment was moved up to the morning and Chris and crew arrived at 9am. The install went well and was done, well, efficiently. The new heater works great, apparently more energy efficient than the old one. I'm grateful that this company actually answered their phone and was able to get the work done before the weekend. Can only say good things about Mark. We had an issue with the bathtub faucet when we tried to change the faucet ourselves and broke the copper pipe!! We were also having issues with water pressure and the sprinkler valve. Mark came and took care of everything within a few hours. He did it all at a great price too (cheaper than we thought!)!! I emailed Efficient Plumbing on Sunday afternoon regarding a couple of jobs I needed done at my residence. I knew they were closed until Monday but Mark responded that evening laying out the costs based on my description of the problems. We texted each other Monday morning to set an appointment which was made for Tuesday. Chris arrived on time and quickly went to work replacing my garbage disposal, snaking the drain, and finally adjusted the drain pipe to add more angle which would help in preventing future clogs. We recently purchased a home in South Orange County. When we had our home inspection completed, they discovered that our washer connections/bib were corroded. A recommendation was made to replace them because it was likely that they'd break or leak. Therefore, we searched for a plumber that had a solid reputation to get the job done.

We found Mark via Yelp and felt confident in our choice due to his five star ratings. So my fiancé emailed Mark and described what we needed done. He said that he would replace the connections/bibs for $150. The price seemed perfect so we made an appointment for Saturday at 2:00.

Mark contacted us and told us that he was ahead of schedule and wanted to know if it was ok if he stopped by around 1:00. That worked out perfectly for us since we had a lot going on that day! He showed up and was super professional and personable. Within 30 minutes, we had brand new hardware and now we can install a new washer and dryer. We were totally satisfied with the quality of his work!

It's a one man show as Mark works independently. He takes his payments in the form of cash or check. He's very efficient and lives up to his five star ratings.

Not having hot water since...Thanksgiving! Yelp led me to Efficient Plumbing, and it was here, I encountered Mark. I am in a service based business myself, so these ratings play a huge role in me making decisions on who to use, in my time of need.
Of all the 5 star ratings, which are key, it was Marks response to Marco S that made my decision for me. He made a human mistake, and he owned it. How much more information do you need? No excuses, just the truth, and THAT spoke volumes because It's happened to me. Anywho...
I left him a text, as his voicemail instructed, and he got back to me right away. Not just the same day, but the same hour. After having the Gas Co. out twice, I knew what I needed to share with him, and he was honest about what he could, and could not do as an immediate remedy to get me a hot shower. He quoted me over the phone, on replacement of my water heater, which I shared with my landlord, then offered to come over and attempt to relight my pilot, which was not staying lit. Hence, the cold showers... He showed up within a half hour, did a visual on my water heater, reaffirmed what he stated over the phone (I could not make the executive decision without input from landlord) and told me to get in the shower in 45 min, to assure I had at least one hot shower before it went out again.
THEN...in 44 min, I received a text message that read Get in the shower NOW with a :) If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is! AND I had a hot shower!!!

Called to set up a appointment, already knew the problem. Needed toilet/shower rooted. Was told $150 on the phone (for shower or toilet), more if additional work needs to be done. Chris and his apprentice just showed up and said $350 for 1.5 hours of work. Last time I had this exact work done Aladdin's Plumbing charged me $300, and only because it was New Years Eve and Sunday night. I'll be calling Aladdin's Plumbing again to get a reasonable price.

Mark at Efficient plumbing was great at communication by text. He gave me a quote to replace one bathroom faucet and helped me to not have to change out my two bathroom sink faucets for a Jack and Jill bathroom by recommending me to fix the handle that wouldn't tighten well. He sent out his Plumber Chris who was very courteous and clean. He helped straighten out some handles for the faucets too so that they were aligned. Great customer service. Would use them again! Not as many plumbers would have been as ethical and would have cost me more to replace some very expensive Moen hardware just to replace a cartridge. He was able to do this last minute as sent him photos of the faucets via text. Very happy customer!

Mark is amazing. I had to have the soft water system in my garage removed as it was leaking and destroying my garage. I had hired another plumber for another job in my home who noticed it and quoted me 1,000 bucks to remove it. I didn't go with that asshat who by the way is from Ben Franklin plumbing and totally ripped me off.

I decided to start hunting for a plumber on yelp and came across Mark. He came out and removed the system for the quoted low price of 200 bucks even though it required extra work. He even cleaned up the mess the unit had made. He was polite, professional and honest. I will never go to another plumber for any of my plumbing needs.

Mark just came by and fixed a minor leak that was causing major problems. Not a particularly difficult diagnosis, but something I would not have been able to do. He was quick to respond to my phone call after trying for 2 days to call another 5 star Yelp plumber. He called me at 9am and was here by noon and done by 12:50. price was reasonable. I would highly recommend him and will plan to use him again.

I have used this company twice now, once for a small repipe, and once for a faucet install. I could not be more impressed with how quickly and efficiently an appointment was made by the front office staff. Chris came out to handle both jobs for us and both times the job was handled with the utmost professionalism. Chris was on time, friendly, and knowledgable on both occasions (not to mention very tolerant of my nosey cats!). He gave us expert advice on what we should and shouldn't do and guided us to the right solutions with the repipe. I also consider their pricing to be very fair and reasonable, especially when I consider the quality and timely manner in which the work was done. I cannot recommend this company (and Chris) highly enough. I will definitely be using them in the future for my plumbing needs!

We've had a problem with our kitchen drain off and on for more than one year. We tried various products to solve the problem - but none of them worked for long...and were expensive and caustic. I received a call from our Field Supervisor, we had accidentally broken a copper pipe while doing some work on a home in Laguna Niguel, that was at 4:30pm. Finding a good plumber is always a hassle... finding an excellent one is next to impossible!
But I was lucky enough to meet one, and the service was above and beyond any standard you can imagine.

Although he had a full booked schedule, Mark was kind enough to accommodate the visit and doing the job the same day I called within less than an hour.
He has a very pleasant personality, knowledgeable in his job, very clean and neat and super efficient and fast finishing the fixture in my home.

On top of all of these he charged me less than half, yes less than 50%, the price the previous plumber gave me for the exact same job.

That was the best service I've ever had...!

Well here's another great review for this great plumber. I had 3 projects that needed to be done all at once. A leaky faucet, garbage disposal replaced and new sink faucet replaced. Mark came on the day I called him, asessed the situation, and fixed the problem the next day, working effiently to complete the repair in all of two hours. The price they quoted me was half of what any other plumber suggested, and they ended up charging me a bit less. Definitely an honest, dependable guy who absolutely knows what he's doing. I asked him why he was so cheap and he said he lowered prices because he knew people are going on hard times lately.

The work was done very meticulously, with some hi-tech gadgetry to detect slab leaks below many feet of concrete. No destruction was done to fix that leak, which was pretty amazing to watch and the five year warranty definitely sweatened the deal.

Will call up Mark when any other problems come up!

Called to have a leaky shower valve fixed. Told Mark it wasn't an emergency but he asked me how bad it was leaking. When I told him the how fast it was dripping, he offered to come out within an hour. He showed up on time, and had the parts required to repair the valve, no replacement required. Mark and Chris are both solid, genuinely nice, and professional. Better than that, reasonable prices which I hope stay reasonable despite 5 star reviews.

I had 2 toilets with clogging issues (one toilet only 2 years old). Called Pristine Plumbing who came out and worked on them. Pristine did an excellent job and the technicians were friendly and helpful - the bill however was extremely high. They also recommended two projects that my home needed and quoted very high prices for these jobs.

Although my instinct was to ask Pristine back for these two jobs, friends urged me to shop around and that is when I found Efficient. Mark texted me with quotes (much lower than Pristine) and gave me quick responses to every follow up question (and believe me, I have a lot). Pristine on the other hand failed to respond to emails which I found surprising because the technicians were so kind.

Almost did not write this review in fear that it might affect Efficient's prices and availability but that would not be fair to Mark and Chris. They are friendly, fair, on-time and, yes,efficient.

I found Efficient Plumbing off of yelp and decided to try him because of all the 5 star reviews. People are not lying. He was so good. He was friendly, efficient, and quoted me prices and stuck with them for his services. He did not try to up sale me, but did give me several options in a non-pushy manner.
He was the second plumber that I had in 2 weeks and I liked him so much better.
He even tested my water pressure for me as a courtesy since I had just moved into the house.
Highly recommend and will use him again for any other plumbing needs I have.

Mark and Chris are our go to plumbers moving forward. We were stuck in a pinch because we were finishing a remodel and the plumber our GC recommended was backed up by a week. I called Efficient Plumbing when it was time to sell my condo since i had a sink that was slowly clogging. He was on time, friendly, and professional and after he was done I could tell this sink would not be having clogging problems again for a loooong time.
A sink unclogging I hear you asking? why would that deserve 5 stars?. Well the first time the sink clogged we went through the home warranty company and the guy they sent out was a joke. Not only was he not able to completely unblock my sink, he wanted to upsell me on ripping out my cabinets and replacing the clogged piece of pipe... so thousands of dollars to do what Efficient Plumbing was able to do in 30 minutes?
So yes, 5 stars for being on time, professional, and competent. I'll be calling Efficient Plumbing in the future whether or not the job is small or big. I feel like i've found the elusive honest tradesman. You know, like the honest mechanic that is so hard to find.

Turns out the gas line was cost prohibitive, but Mark also told me how to fix the pipe myself instead of doing the work and charging me. My kitchen faucet was leaking underneath the sink big time. I called Mark at Efficient Plumbing. He diagnosed the problem less in than one minute. With his instructions he guided me in what to do. My pull out faucet head was loose and I was able to take care of the problem without any money cost. You know the feeling You get when you are doing the dishes and your feet suddenly start to feel wet? Well after saying oh crap... I immediately googled a plumber. I kept finding plumbers with the most stupid names like elite plumbing but when I got to efficient plumbing I thought...yeah I need someone pretty efficient (not necessarily elite) right now! I called mark. Unfortunately it was after hours, but you know what? He came over anyway at 8pm! The price was pretty decent and he was happy to help. Best of all he wasn't the typical overweight plumbing looking dude with a hanging out butt crack bending down. He is good looking and in shape to do the job! We are talking about a really nice real guy who does owns his work, now that's efficient! Choose mark!

After dealing with many repair people who were not punctual or who were not particularly great about returning phone calls, Mark shone out like a beacon. When he made appointments with us, he actually honored the time that he said he'd come. When he was running late another time (by 15 minutes) he promptly texted us to let us know. He called back when he said he would, and we TOTALLY appreciated how considerate he was of his clients' time.

We had a gas line and a new gas range installed in the kitchen, and Mark proposed that we route the gas line from the heating unit through the attic and down to the kitchen. What we appreciated about his approach was that he took care to make most of the holes in the walls largely in inconspicuous areas for the most part (e.g. - inside closets and on a stair landing). He also avoided making any holes in the ceiling, which we really liked, and he also was careful to explain why routing gas from the heating unit would allow him to put the gas line in up to code, vs. an alternative route of coming from the fireplace. This was a multi-part job and it took Mark and his assistant Chris several hours to complete it. They were both extremely professional, personable, and fun to talk to, and they both did a great job. Mark also referred us to a handyman who repaired the drywall holes, coming out the next day on a SUNDAY morning to do this, which we completely appreciated.

Mark is definitely a plumber we would recommend based on his work ethic, punctuality, integrity, and his assistant Chris, who also has a clear passion for his work. Great job guys!

I called Tustin Efficient Plumbing to see about a repair as we had a small leak. Hector was on time in fact a little earlier than expected. He was professional, very experienced and informative to my wife and I. While he was here and finished our repair I had him make another repair to the water turn off outside. We live in an older home and thought because the pipes were very old we would be in trouble, but again he did a fantastic job. The reason for this review is I worked as a customer service mgr for well over 30 years and unfortunately I judge the service and appreciate the service I get. I would give this company based on the job he did a 5 out of 5 for top notch service. Highly recommend them.

Read reviews, called Efficient and several other plumbers with great reviews. Efficient was the only one that could show up within a short time frame. Others were booked thru next day. Mark, Efficient owner, texted he was out of town, to contact Chris. Chris quoted an amount, showed up at the home on time, did more than was asked for and spent more time than expected. Didn't charge more than quoted. Chris even came to my office after to pick up a check. Outstanding service, integrity, honesty, etc. We wouldn't hesitate to send the business for all 10 of our properties their way.

This review is LONG overdue. I have worked with Mark 3 separate times over the course of 3 years. The first was to unclog a toilet that had overflowed in the Master bathroom. The second was to unclog the drain in our shower that was blocked from over 10 years of usage and to replace the regulator outside. The third was to install 3 water efficient toilets to take advantage of the rebate the Moulton Niguel Water District was offering in 2013. I think many people are suspicious when it comes to plumbing services, like you do not want to take your car to shops may study you and try to take as much as they can, especially if you are a girl!

When I looked at this yelper's review on Efficient Plumbing, being so highly rated, I told my husband about this place, and my husband said, it must be all his friends reviewing.

But, I DECIDED to call Efficient Plumbing. I NEEDED WATER!!!

Mark with his assistant came, took 10 minutes to fix the problem which my husband could not figure out for hours sweating in the garage.

I am very glad that I called which is obvious, right?

And, they are very professional looking in their uniform, nice, and clean! I totally recommend them to even girls living alone.

Mark was very honest, he even tried to explain how to fix over the phone.

Checked out Yelp for a relatively simple plumbing job . . . replace a couple of angle stops and install a new kitchen Faucet. Usually a job i would do myself but was short on time for my tenant. I asked for quotes with specific details and Mark at Efficient Plumbing was the only one that would send a quote in email without a call. I understand the quote is just a basic quote and if problems arose it might be more but as i said seemed like a pretty simple straight forward job. Marks response was quick and reasonable. Chris came out to fix an issue with roots going to one of the downstair toilet sewer/drain line. Addressed the accumulation of weeds that was causing an irregular flush on a toilet and did a good job cleaning up after all the work. New gasket and re-caulked perfectly the toilet.

Mark and his associate Chris are GREAT! They have done projects both small and large on our 1960s home. Mark is very responsive (texting him is best). Price - always very reasonable, no hidden charges, no up-selling. Appointment time - usually same day or next. On time, clean, professional, friendly, informative, and stand behind their work 100%. We once had an extra difficult clog far down our kitchen line that Mark worked on for about an hour. For reasons beyond control, he couldn't unclog the line, so he referred us to another company that had the equipment for this particular job. Then he said no charge for his attempts. I tried to pay him anyway (he had worked very hard), but he said no, if they can't fix the issue, there's no charge. WOW. Needless to say, we call Efficient Plumbing for any work we need. Absolutely the best!

Honest, professional, and dependable. What more can you ask for? He was on time for our appointment and charged us exactly as estimated in our emails. Called because of a leak in our toilet and left a message. They responded very quickly and even had someone come in that same day to look at the damage. Not only did they help with the leak, they dug deeper to find the root for our problem instead of doing a quick fix. Great service and great quality work! We're very efficient with what they had to do and did everything within a very reasonable time (not too fast where it seemed rushed but not too slow either). I really don't know why Yelp has so many great review on this guy. We exchanged texts for a faucet installation in the kitchen. Got a quote which seems high but still the cheapest compared to other guys, but not by much. I wanted to make sure the price was agreed since I won't be home when the plumber showed up. I didn't want my wife to be taken an advantage of and get ripped off, which unfortunately happens way to often.

Well this guy was no exception. Everything was extra and he managed to get 50 bucks more than he'd quoted. On top of that he said something broke and charged my wife both for it, when another plumber came there was nothing wrong with it. To make matters worse ever since he installed the faucet hot water comes out whenever we turn on the cold water. If he was hoping we'd get him back for more work, dream on. The only thing efficient about his visit was his billing. For a job that took less than 30 min it's a shame he has the nerve to charge a fee as high as attorney fee.

I'm very picky with the home maintenance professionals I hire, both in terms of proficiency and professionalism. I'm also a somewhat advanced DIY'er so I have enough know-how to judge good craftsmanship.

I didn't have time to take care of a few leaks under my kitchen faucet so I called Mark and pointed out the problem. He arrived on time, worked fast and clean, and in less than an hour I had a new drain, drain plumbing, and food waste disposer. It would have taken me half a day!

I inspected his work after he left and it was absolutely by-the-book perfect. The price I paid was very reasonable and certainly worth the excellent work.

After going through several so-so plumbers I finally found my guy.

Mike is awesome. I texted him I had a problem with my shower hot water valve. He texted me back to snap a photo of it and send to him. He identified it was Delta and said he could be out at 5:00pm that afternoon. He texted me at 4:00 and said he was running early. We requested Mark's service to install a Costco reverse osmosis system under our kitchen sink. We had purchased this system back in the Spring just never got around to installing it. I sent Mark a text and he responded immediately. He arrived promptly at the time we had scheduled and got right to work. He appeared knowledgeable, and his price was reasonable. Based on past experience, I was expecting some issues with the installation, and Icovered floor of the cabinet with newspaper to see if there would be any leaks. In the process of the tank filling up, some of the hoses were leaking a little. I put a call through to Mark and since it wasn't a big leak, we arranged for him to come back the next day. Again, he arrived right on time, and fixed the issue as well as an issue created by a previous plumber. I definitely recommend Mark. He stood by his work, even when it was inconvenient for him.

I had my wife call them since I had to go to work and couldn't fix the issue anyway.

They were on time and professional and took care of the problem. I knew we had a main line drain clog and appreciated that they did not try the We need to run a camera bs that many other plumbers do as a matter of course on every call. They simply cleared the main and we were back in business .

I would have given them 5 stars but they didn't take credit cards so had to scrounge for $125 dollars in cash. Other than that they were great!

We had used Mark from Efficient Plumbing a year or two ago, so we remembered the great job then and called again this time.

The work we had done was 1) re-seating our toilet and 2) re-installing the earthquake safety valve on our natural gas line.

Chris came out to help us install our new Moen kitchen faucet. He did it with ease. It only took him 30-45 minutes to finish. He also mentioned to us that the brand Moen has a lifetime guarantee that we did not know about. That was really good information to know. I recently purchased a home in Laguna Niguel and needed the services of a plumber.
I was not looking forward to this trade search as I've had a few bad experiences with a different home in another city.
I took to Yelp to try and find a reputable plumber. I looked at many plumbers and many, many more reviews.
I had the good fortune to find Mark the owner of Efficient Plumbing. His company had 290 - 5 star reviews. I read like the first 20 - 25 reviews and decided this was the company for me. Mark did not disappoint!

I have a European thermostatic cartridge that needed replacing in the shower. After locating the part I scheduled the repair with Mark.

Mark was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, detailed orientated and very fair with his pricing.

I was most impressed that Efficient Plumbing took the time to listen to my problem and actually figure out if they could help me. Every other plumber I called, including the company I have used many times before, told me they could not come out for a day or two - that was even before I told them what was wrong. My rating stays. While Mark is trying to defend himself I can assure you we've had several other plumbers in and all confirmed they'd have changed the old parts for new. The part was not faulty it was aged and had a brand new part and angle stop been installed we'd have not had to endure this unfortunate situation. While he did do work for us a few times in our old home those leaks would leak again and the issues were not resolved long term. Our new plumber mentioned that the fixes done were a quick temporary solution but would not resolve the main issues and have since corrected them all.

Called Mark thanks to the reviews here on Yelp and out of three he was the only one who gave me a time not a range of time. Scheduled him to come fix a dishwasher leak through the air vent of our recently purchased home.

Excellent communication (compared to other contractors we've contacted for our new home):

Due to a business meeting I never saw his call letting me know he'd be about 30 minutes late and didn't see the message until I arrived at our new home 5 minutes before our scheduled time. On his voicemail he said, Please call me to let me know you got this.

I called him immediately and he said they finished earlier and would be there about 5 minutes late.

Efficient is not just a name, repair was quick:

Best experience I've ever had!

When we discovered that we had a slab leak, we immediately called the plumbing/heating/AC repair company we had used in the past. They came in right away, but only spent few minutes and pushed a solution I thought was to their best interest, most expensive. Having had prior experience with another slab leak, I wanted to call around for a different opinion. After speaking with 3 other plumbers, I decided to bring in Efficient Plumbing (Mark). Mark was very responsive, courteous, and trustworthy. He even came in on Sunday to accommodate my schedule, and to cap the pipe so we could have hot water! His explanation was very clear, and his price was just fraction of what the other company would have charged. My wife and I were very glad we went with Mark and his proposed solution vs. the other company's.

My wife and I'd recommend Mark to all our friends in the neighborhood, and will be definitely be our #1 choice of plumber going forward.

I purchased a whole house water filter system and I wanted to hire a reputable, competent, and most of all, a honest plumber. I found Mark on Yelp. What can I say..... WOW!!! Mark is not only a friendly person but extremely knowledgeable and competent plumber. He showed up on time and was able to install the whole house water filtration system in no time and best of all, it was done right! His attention to detail and workmanship is exceptional. In this day and age where businesses just want your $$$, it was refreshing to do business with someone who cares and at the same time very competent in their line of work. What a fantastic experience with Mark today. This guy really is efficient. He returned my text promptly with a phone call and gave me a price over the phone which seemed reasonable for the job. Honest and efficient with his work. Mark had to reschedule our appointment for the next day which was already completely booked for him but he was able to make it out on time and quote the job AND do the work without rushing the tasks. Late night washing turned into early morning flood clean up. Called Efficient Plumbing and spoke with Mark (owner) who told me he would be by around Noon that day. Showed up on time and ready to go with materials he needed. As a single Dad, time is important and not having to take two days off from work was great (as is getting your son and his clothes clean!).

Mark was great and even cleaned up the place better than he found it. Fair price, and great work with better materials than original house had. That will make me feel better, especially when trying to shut off valves that don't work!

Mark and his team visited for a simple toilet wax seal replacement and also replaced the supply line and shut off valve. After a few weeks the valve developed a slow leak and Mark was quick to send someone to resolve the issue without charging. A+!

Absolutely had a horrible experience with this guys, explained to my husband the situation and was totally taken advantage of )-,: Hector was the technician that had came by our home for the repair, never told me a price before he started working then at the end when he was done gave me a HUGE bill or said I could pay Cash and he would give me a discount!! Seemed very odd! wanted to cry as all this wAS UNEXPECTED. I would of never went with this company from the start if I New the price. Ended up getting other quotes after the fact that were 3 times cheaper! I'm a old lady living with my husband and fills like since I'm old and a women the plumber took advantage of me.....sad that we live in a world like this today. Hope this helps other customers...always receive multiple job quotes and do not let anyone start working on your home or anything without giving you a price before work is started. Guess a old lady like myself had to learn the hard way. Thanks Efficient Plumbing, would never recommend these people to anyone.

I called Mark the Saturday before Mother's Day with a leaking shower. There was no rush, just trying to set up an appointment. He seemed disappointed that he could help me on the spot, but said that if it wouldn't mess up our Sunday he could come on Mother's Day. After chastising him for not spending the day with his own mother (he had a good excuse - she's too far away) I allowed that he could do the work on Sunday. He assured me that there would be no extra charge for working on Sunday and asked me to text him a picture of the leaking handles so he would have the right equipment when he came.

He arrived promptly when he said he would on Sunday - with flowers for Mothers Day!! He did the work for the price he quoted, found a couple extra items that needed replacing and showed me what they were and what was wrong with them. He had all the parts needed, and tweaked some other small issues on his way out (no charge).

Mark is the plumber I have been waiting for all my life!

I'm adding my voice to the 5-star echo chamber. Mark is a real pro. He installed a new water heater this afternoon and I've never had such HOT water so fast in the years I've owned the house. Since the current water heater was 26 years old, I knew it was a matter of time before a major incident was likely to occur. Mark did an excellent job installing the heater and even dropped his original price since he was able to use some of the existing piping. I will have him do the plumbing on my master bath remodel after his very fair estimate. He even referred me to a tile pro with whom he often works. It's a real pleasure to encounter a pro like Mark these days. No wonder he works non-stop.

We have used Mark of Efficient Plumbing twice now, and both times we were rather pleased. Mark returned telephone calls promptly, and arrived for both appointments right on time. He did the first job (replace two toilet fill valves & assemblies, gaskets and levers) for the same reasonable price he originally quoted. And he did the second job (replace the overflow valve on our water heater) for even less than originally quoted. He was always professional, and very communicative, fully explaining everything he did.

We had a small problem with the first job: after the toilet assemblies were replaced, the toilets would flush multiple times in a row (sometimes up to 3x). When Mark returned to do the second job, he was able to help address this problem, with no extra fees or problems.

This is a belated review. Mark, the owner, came out a few months ago responding to a leak we had in our upstairs shower. Water was leaking from there through the garage ceiling below. We feared the worst so thought we'd give Mark a try because of all the high ratings here. He did not disappoint. He quickly zeroed in on the problem which was a simple fix that I would never have figured out even had I spent half a day breaking my back on it. The best part was that, since it was a simple fix, the bill was really affordable.

The great reviews Mark has received are well earned. I contacted him yesterday around 1, with an emergency situation where my water had to be shut off to the whole house. I was worried I would not have water for another day! Mark said he could fit me in at the end of the day, but was able to get there earlier, handle the job and for a reasonable cost. He is professional, concerned about your overall satisfaction and easy to work with. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and use him for all my future plumbing issues.

Long over due review. These guys serciced over a year ago and everything went well. Had a classic shower drain clog. These Super Mario and went down the drain like a boss. They found princess (my wife's) hair stuck all the way down. They even did a second pass just to make sure all is well. Very reasonable pricing too.

Had a hot water heater issue this afternoon. Called and spoke with a very nice woman in the office who took my information and checked with her scheduling team. She got back to me within 30 minutes and had a tech on the way within an hour. Titus was extremely professional in his evaluation of the problem. He ran out to get a part and returned quickly to complete the install on budget. I was extremely pleased with the service and will recommend Efficient Plumbing to family and friends in the future.

I came home from work at 6:15 and my wife told me the master shower would not turn off. It was a steady flow of water and we had to turn off the water and get it fixed right away. We called Efficient in a bit of panic and got a hold of Evette I believe. She worked with us to get a picture of the equipment and confirmed they could help us that evening. Chris showed up not too long after and did a great job repairing the issue which was a bad cartridge. In stead of just collecting the check and going home Chris took the time to tell us that Moen may reimburse us part of the $$ for the part since it was an emergency situation. Or at least they could send the part for a future use to save us money if this happens again. This was above and beyond in my book and we were very happy with Chris and Efficient Plumbing.

Great service. We had a small toilet leak that we discovered late in the evening. I requested a quote directly from the business owner using the quote tool in yelp, he responded within a couple of hours and we agreed price and for one of his staff to come out to our property and fix the issue at 11am the next morning. Efficient plumbing worked very quickly to resolve the issue and the results were very good. I will definitely use Efficient plumbing again in the future and would recommend their service to others.

Excellent service, highly recommend the company. I was referred by my handy man Ed McCollough (best guys to ask as they know other workers in the trade). I called yesterday to make a non-emergency appointment and they still made sure to get me in :) Love it!

Great Yelp reviews led me to call Efficient Plumbing, following a bad experience with another plumber. I had already taken the day off to meet with plumber #1, who had missed their 2 hour arrival window and then couldn't proceed with the repair. I called Efficient and explained the situation to Mark and although he was very busy, he was able to work me in and sent Chris within an hour.

Chris arrived promptly and was very polite and professional. He quickly assessed the situation and set to work on the repair. He showed me the issue (roots in the toilet trap) and worked to clean and clear the clog. After completing the repair, he he gave me some tips to prevent the problem from recurring. He was very careful and tidy about his work and cleaned the area upon completion. Great experience!

Called Mark around 4pm and he was out to my house first thing next morning. Connected gas dryer and cleaned out multiple sinks/shower drains at rental house and then went to our permanent house to put on two new supply lines connectors on toilets. I called few plumbers around my area to get quotes to have a Pressure Regulator Valve installed due to high water pressure and came across with Efficient Plumbing with over 130 5-Star reviews.

Called the number immediately and spoke with Mark. I explained to him what I needed done and he immediately gave me a very reasonable price (Lower than most quotes I received) over the phone without asking whether he can drop-by first. Most plumbers I called, they wanted to drop-by first prior to giving quotes.

He arrived at my house per the scheduled appointment. Very professional, friendly, and clean. He installed the Pressure Regulatory Valve in no time.

His quality of work has exceeded my expectations, it was a top notch job!!! He even lowered the original quote because he did not need to install a hose bib of which is part of the original price quoted. Very honest.

Wow impressive! I texted Mark on a Monday afternoon around 4pm to ask about setting a future appointment to switch out my kitchen faucet. Called Mark at Efficient Plumbing after I got an outrageous quote from the Smell Good plumbers and scheduled a drain snake and trap replacement. Mark showed up on time, got right to work, finished in less than an hour, CLEANED UP THE MESS, which was substantial, and did a bang-up job on the trap replacement, even going to far as to replace as much of the steel pipe he could with ABS.

One of my property in foothill ranch has toilet clogged that turned into water overflow. I wasn't sure if Efficient Plumbing would come out to foothill ranch and service one of my property because they were based in Laguna Niguel.

Desperately, I called Mark on saturday afternoon expecting to call again on monday morning. Surprisingly, I received a call from Mark on sunday afternoon and asked him to contact the tenant for the service that needs to be done.

I had mark come to the house to replace two faucets and a shower. Over text I sent him a couple pictures.... he gave me a quote and a few days later he was there. I bought the wrong shower replacement so he (without me asking him too) went to the closest hardware store to get the correct valve that would work with my existing shower. I was able to return the shower setup since he was able to get my original one to work. He came back and within an hour he was done. His prices are unbeatable. Its safe to say that I saved his number in my contacts list and will be reaching out to him with any other plumbing needs I may have.

We're redoing our kitchen and Mark was recommended to us by our contractor to do the plumbing work. He arrived on time and was friendly, courteous, and professional. I was especially impressed that he was available to come out on a Saturday to do the work. He installed all our faucets, sink plumbing, garbage disposal, dishwasher air gap, needed water lines, our remote osmosis system, gas cooktop, just everything. Plus he did a quick supply and install of a faulty hose bib we had outdoors after he finished the kitchen. On top of that, his price was reasonable for the amount of work he did.

Mark was amazing!! We needed to have 3 toilets replaced in the house and were looking for a plumber to do the job. I requested a quote and had a reply within 30 minutes. His prices were competitive, included the wax ring and install, and he would haul away the old toilets. (I thought that these would have been standard protocol, but other quotes I received either charged extra for rings/haul away or I had to do it myself. Yes, really.) He had no problem installing toilets that I provided (something two plumbers would not do-- I had to buy them through them??) and was able to be there exactly the day and time that I needed him. On the day of service, he called to see if it would be ok to come early (When does that EVER happen??). He was kind, funny, and very friendly. He changed out the water lines for us (an extra charge, but we knew that) and had all toilets installed, cleaned up, and invoiced in a couple hours. I would absolutely recommend Mark and Efficient Plumbing to anyone, and will use him again if I need something!

Update: Had this company out a second time, and again was very happy with their service. They were on time, polite, and willing to talk about what they were doing with me when I showed an interest. They even gave me a few tips to try on my slow drains, which I was not having them address.

I would give them a 4.5 if I could, but ended up taking off one star because they were not able to get the touch sensitivity working on my Delta Touch-on, touch-off sink again. The problem I called them out to fix was related to low water pressure in that faucet, and they were able to help with that. They even told me ahead of time that the touch technology was not their area of expertise, and spent quite a long time fiddling with it in an attempt to make it work, but in the end they were not able to get the touch interface working again. Oh well, I'm so happy that there's water coming out of the sink again, I don't really care and I eventually told them so.

I am so happy with Efficient Plumbing service!
Steve kept me informed with each steps, like estimation schedule, technician work schedule. Steve called us promptly when there is a 20-minus schedule delay, he never put us in the dark. Kevin is a very nice guy and did a great job on repairing our pipe problem.
