If I could give zero star it would be more appropriate. This company was contracted through our AHS policy. Our toilet kept running until you jiggle the handle. Unfortunately, the toilet got stopped up and kept running and flooded our bathroom. Chris the plumber came and said it's working fine because he flushed it once and it stopped. I flushed it again and it kept running. He said, I pushed the lever too hard and that's why it kept running. It shouldn't do that, obviously, you push what ever it takes to flush. He then, blamed it on the style of toilet, which is a Kohler. We have an identical toilet that doesn't have this problem. He then jiggled around with the handle and sprayed WD 40 on it and said it was fixed. It didn't run continuously for maybe 2 flushes. Almost immediately after he left it tarted to run constantly again. I called the office. He came back. He said it's the lever assembly and I need to call Kohler and lie to them and tell them that either we are the original owners of the home or that we installed this toilet so they would send us a free replacement. I told him I wasn't going to lie. He got mad and left. He then told AHS that we forced the flapper and we caused the problem so they wouldn't cover it. Seriously, how does one force a flapper anyway? The house was built in 2001. I'm pretty sure this is the original tank assembly. Which is more likeIy, that it just wore out over time or someone flushed it too hard? I would never recommend this plumber to anyone and will be filing a complaint with BBB.
