Came to give an estimate, which he charged me for. Sewage pump $1600. Did this repair myself for right at $150. Charged me $90 for a service call, what a joke of a business. What a great scam, massively over quote jobs and just make people pay for estimates..
I've had Greenwell out to the house for 3 different projects in the past year. It doesn't matter if the job requires 15 minutes or digging up the yard I trust this group and will call them next time I need help from a plumber.
Called at 8am to have a drain inside our home cleared - one that they had serviced a month ago. Explained that we couldn't flush toilets and that the drain was backing up sewers and needed service ASAP. We were told they would put us on the short list. Called at 2:30pm because we hadn't heard anything and were told we were next. At this point - our basement was flooded. Called again at 5 - and told the technician wasn't done at the current job and now had another job before getting to us - and may not even get to us at all. Honesty would have been great if they didn't actually have time.
Never came out. Thousands of dollars of water damage. Do not recommend.
Full master bath remodel: As work progressed some things were done with laying the tile and grouting that we didn't agree with (and after doing research, we found that other professionals agreed with us). Greenwell made the revisions we requested. However, on the final walk thru, owner criticized our decisions with the tile, as well as the caulking color. And he defended the workmanship, even when we showed him what pros said. We wanted to like this company, all the people involved had great personalities, but just cannot recommend.

Adam at Greenwell Plumbing came to my house during a snow storm to fix what another quack plumber did not. Adam was on time, very friendly, and the cost was on par. I was very happy with his service, and will keep Greenwell Plumbing's information on hand in the event this old house needs them again. Thank you, Adam, and thank you Greenwell Plumbing!
The news wasn't the best, and it was a hit to the pocketbook, but Mark was fantastic and I feel very comfortable about everything that was done to my new home. Thank you, Greenwell and Mark! After a disastrous time with a realtor and a locksmith, it was so good to find a trustworthy business person. Mark is great! Greenwell is too.

Good luck at getting a response. I have had several situations now where I have been unable to get in contact with anyone. Sat at a place waiting for about five hours that they were supposed to be there called they said now it was after hours, and they were going to charge me an after hours fee. Finally got them to show up at 10 pm. I had to go to the office to get them to run the camera through my line 3 weeks later. Now over a week later and still can't get them to call back at 3 attempts to find out result and get a price to repair.

they did not even bother to show up after the appointment was made the day before. Called to see why and they told me the appointment had been rescheduled for the next week. i was not informed. Company is a joke.

We have been customers for years and were very please with Greenwell for years but we have become increasingly disappointed. Poor communication within the company and with plumbers. Poor communication with customers. Every time we call it seems it is a two-week or more process to get things fixed properly and to haul away items, i.e. water heater and water softener. There is always a lame excuse as to why they can't take the items that day which ends up with multiple phone calls to get them back to take them away. In addition, when they installed the new water heater he cut off the usage of the water-powered backup sump pump. Guess what, it rained for days and days. Every time you call there are no notations on file for what transpired. They never show up when they are supposed to even when they notify you when they are on the way. Very poor service and poor customer service in following up.
I made it an appointment with Greenwell plumbing and simply put they didn't show up. Now the technician was very nice who did initially take the appointment but in the end they didn't show up we had been waiting for them and they were a no-show.
I made an appointment for Saturday, and was giving a timeframe of 8-10 a.m. I received a confirmation text from the company the day before the appointment. They promised to call 30 minutes before arrival. At 8:58 a.m., I received a call asking if it was ok if they arrived a little after 10:00 a.m., to which I said that was fine. I heard nothing again until I called at 12:20, at which time I was told by CR Bill they weren't sure what happened, but they would get someone out, and if I hadn't heard back in 30 minutes, to please call again. I called again at a little after 1:00, and still nothing. At 3:10 p.m., after missing work and my daughter's softball tournament, I called again. They had no answer for why I didn't receive service except that they had overbooked themselves-- they then said the earliest they could do would be on Tuesday afternoon, during my work schedule. This company had been recommended to me by multiple local friends, but this was a great disappointment.

Incompetent and rude. We are in the process of buying our first home, and had it professionally inspected for problems. The inspector found that the water heater had a rusted bolt on it, that was wet to the touch with water around it. Greenwell was called out to repair the leaky water heater, who responded there was no need for repair. We then replied, providing images and photographic evidence of the leak, which is in obvious need of repair. They then sent 2 additional people out together, who also seemed to find nothing wrong with the water heater, despite the rusted bolt (the only bolt on top of the water heater in plain site), and said nothing needed to be fixed. Upon questioning if the 2 technicians were made aware of the exact situation they needed to fix, I received a very curt email from the manager, who ended with Please feel free to contact me with any further questions. I asked her if water outside of the water heater to where there is rust on the bolt and water around it doesn't qualify as something that needs to be fixed, or a leak then what does.
I greatly appreciate that they were able to come to our house quickly. The people who worked with me were very nice and friendly - however - I could have done without the F-bomb from the guy who came to fix our busted pipes and he could have thrown his cigarette butts in the garbage instead of leaving them in our basement where he was working - this also lets me know he was smoking in my basement. They also left all the pipes and valves they cut out on the basement floor. So, $780 later, I have my frozen pipes fixed and a little mess in my basement to clean up. For $780 I think they should have taken the trash out themselves. Again - the people were nice who came to the house but left me confused regarding professionalism.

Shockingly overpriced! The spray faucet hose on the kitchen sink accidentally became disconnected and fell under the sink. My wife called Greenwell and they looked under the sink with a flashlight and said the hose is stuck in the faucet and can't be fixed (diagnosed without using any tools) definitely had to be replaced. Fortunately we had an extra pull down spray kitchen faucet that i was going to install in the basement. Greenwell looks in a book and says that it will cost $300 to install a customer owned faucet and could do it in 1/2 an hr. I refused the ridiculous price and did it myself but not before they charged a $49 fee for looking under the sink with a flashlight.

My hot water stopped working a day ago so we had to have after hours service on Sunday. I asked a couple neighbors about who they would recommend and both said Greenwell Plumbing, Heating and Air. My wife and I were not disappointed! The technician, Jeff was very polite, courteous, and respectful of our home. He wore shoe coverings which I very much appreciate, and explained the potential problems with our water heater. After diagnosing the problem, it was determined we needed a heating element. He also explained the pricing in a very clear upfront manner. After discussing options we decided to have the heating element replaced in our 50 gallon Rheem water heater. He flushed the tank and replaced the element in a pretty prompt time frame. We are pretty sure we have found our go-to plumbing service company in Greenwell. We highly recommend them. It was nice that they offered a 10% military and first responder discount. I'm very appreciative of companies that honor vets and our first responders.

This company is a joke. They replaced a sewer line for me. The job was $1000 over budget, they left a hole in my yard, and the sidewalk they poured looks like crap. The foreman was a tool. I do not recommend this business.
This is a gripe not connected to their actual service but does reflect on how they operate in general from the top down. As I was pumping gas at rush hour this morning one of their trucks pulls in to fill up but instead of pulling behind me or another car he pulls in nose to nose with me. He did leave enough room to appear that he was giving me the space to get through. Well I tried and damaged my car on the barricade around the pump. I know it was my fault but looked to the driver for a reaction or an apology for the practice of pulling up that way. He was not remorseful at all. I thought maybe the owner would be concerned about this incident and how it reflects on his company so I called the number on the truck. The receptionist, who I believe to be related to the owner, took my info called the owner and driver and called me back. No concern whatsoever, We didn't hit you so we aren't responsible. What they say is true but when your last name is on the side of the truck every encounter with the public is an extension of your brand and your family's name. These are high stakes that shouldn't be taken lightly. Doing the right thing in a situation or even showing concern or remorse goes along way to strengthen your brand and your name. You failed in this instance Greenwell Plumbing.
I have had the unpleasant experience of having this company at my home. I absolutely would not have them ever come back. They man who came to our home was rude & didn't seem to care about the job but sure was overly friendly with our daughter who was about his age. IMO you should finish the job before looking for a date. The job never got completed correctly.

We had one of their techs come out to look at a job we needed done on a Friday. Said to expect the estimate by Tuesday. I called Weds cause we hadn't heard back. Was told they were working on it. I Called back Friday morning. Said she would have someone from dispatch call me back. No call, so I called again that afternoon. Was promised someone from customer service would call me right back after her lunch break. It's two weeks later and we NEVER heard back from them!!!
Tim came to our house earlier than expected which was amazing! He completed the quotes we requested very quickly and then got some parts and quickly went to work. He was very polite and informative when updating us on progress. He installed a gas line for our stove, an extra water line for our fridge and fixed a toilet that has been giving us trouble for a while! He even completely installed our stove for us! I'll be using Greenwell and specifically requesting Tim if we need any more work.
Would not recommend. Plumbers installed tub incorrectly and had to come out the second day to fix installment. They also tore out two extra rows of tile and then cut an electrical line. Electrician had to fix line and cut a hole in our bedroom wall. They did pay for an electrician and the hole repair but wanted to charge us $470 to fix two rows of tile that they tore off. They left the job unfinished and we had to pay someone else to finish their mistakes. Very unprofessional, unorganized, unresponsive.
Just had a bit of a hiccup with billing where I had to follow them up repeatedly about an issue. That has been resolved.
Their estimate during house inspection was very far off from the actual bill we got once the job was completed so that was a bit of a bummer. We decided to stick with them because they were responsive and I thought the prices were still fair. The plumbers who went out were prompt and explained the job they're going to do clearly, and finished without a hitch.

If I could give them a no star I would.... The whole issue is that when we do laundry the sewer line backs up..................First guy said it was in the main under the house and he could not get through the clog with his electric auger and we needed a clean out put in. The crew came out and spent an hour here as most of the time they spent eating lunch and going to get a 4 inch T junction. It was $1200 to dig down a foot and half and put in a T for a clean out. No one scheduled a follow up and we had to call again to get someone back out and he heard toilet overflowing (because doing the laundry was causing it to back up into the toilet and bathtub) and that put him on a one track mindset of that the whole reason he was here was the toilet needed replaced (we already knew that as it is as old as the house and we had to plunge it to get it to flush). Third guy came out after we replaced the toilet and we ran water down every sink and the bathtub and says the problem is not under your house and you have good flow it must be fixed... We do a load of laundry the next day and it backs up AGAIN and we take the cap off the cleanup and sewer water pours out.... So not fixed and we have rotorooter coming out here in a bit and will never call greenwell again!!!
My daddy was a licensed pipe fitter, electrician and HVAC man who chose to work as a pipe fitter for a national company. As a girl, helping him fix things around the house I learned a lot. One of those things was how to install a toilet. My mom obviously never knew this so years after dad's death she had this company install one. Imagine my shock when I was visiting & needed to use the WC at her house & the toilet almost fell over (I weigh a hefty 127)!!! They never bolted the toilet down, plus it was leaking, albeit slightly, around the wax ring. I had to reinstall the toilet. Unacceptable. No I didn't call them, it was more trouble than it was worth, imo. Just make sure they send a licensed technician beforehand.
I had a section of my sewer line replaced today and the guys did a fantastic job! The job took a fair amount of time and they were able to address the problem quickly and efficiently! Thanks Greenwell!
Busted water line inside wall to hose spigot outside. We had already removed the drywall, insulation and carpet. All we needed was for them to repair the water line and asked the technician to put a plastic shut off valve on the exposed and easily accessed plastic pipe in the basement so we could shut it off in the winter from now on. They charged us $269 to repair the busted line, and another $289 to install the plastic shut off valve that I could have done myself for $5 and a trip to Lowe's. What a scam...I wouldn't have even asked them to install the plastic valve if I had known we would get gouged for the price like that. I could have done it myself in five minutes, but since I was at work and left my wife to stay at the house with the repairman, I figured he could do it as an additional quick fix for me and I would pay a slight bit more. But $284 more is a bit extreme for five minutes worth of labor, and under 100 calories burned. Find another plumber with some honesty and integrity, save yourself hundreds of dollars.
Tim was friendly, responsive and knowledgleable. He did a great time find the low hot water pressure from kitchen faucet and he replaced new parts so the hot water pressure was a lot better make my wife happy. Highly recommend use Greenwell Plumbing. The prices aren't too bad but gotta need to get it fix and no worry headache problems or frustrating. They'll take care of it for you.
