Benjamin's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning has 26 yrs. of experience and has flourished on a reputation of Integrity, dependability and fair upfront pricing. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I started my Plumbing carrier with my Father and younger brother in 1992 as a young buck doing what ever it took to gain the knowledge that was given to me from my old man. I have worked in several areas of the Plumbing field from new construction to service and repair in the residential, commercial and industrial aspects of Plumbing. I have worked for some of the biggest corporate companies in the states of California and Colorado and have seen the lack of customer service trend growing rapidly, while the rates charged to customers become inflated. This is what lead me and my wife to opening Benjamin's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning, I want to bring back the customer service aspect of Plumbing along with affordable rates and truly develop lasting relationships with my customers, their families and the community. What a blessing! Your worst nightmare - Backed up toilet upstairs, flooding downstairs. Saturday night at 7:30. Company coming. I called about 8 plumbers, got mostly voicemail, and never heard from any of them. The one exception was Benjamin's. He answered, and was here and finished in under an hour. Fast and efficient. You might be tempted to call somebody who advertises in the media and says they're cheap, but you should NEVER begrudge a craftsman his due. His rate was perfectly reasonable. His number is now in my phone.
Wow! Quick response time! Made it to my house within a couple of hours. Benjamin was great! Are issues were resolved promptly. He explained everything before doing it. I appreciate how quick and available he was. Thanks
I called Benjamin's Plumbing and he answered the phone right away and I told him the problem I was having and he came the same day and determined the problem and called to order the part. It came in the next day and he called to let me know and gave me a time he would be arriving to install the part.
He showed up on time and even called to tell me he was on his way. I highly recommend Benjamin.
He's Very professional and knows what he's doing.

I would absolutely recommend Benjamin's Plumbing. George came out and was truly a professional and knowledgeable. He took care of every issue and question we had. He was able to fix our drainage problem without tearing into a wall. The previous company we had out to address the situation wanted to tear into the wall. I am very happy we did not go in the direction. George took his time and we never felt rushed. Price was very reasonable also. You will not be dissatisfied with this company.

Benjamin just finished our bathroom sink today. I could not be more pleased. We live in a 1920's Arts and Craft Bungalow, the plumbing is a nightmare. Benjamin went beyond the call of duty, he first tried to find a replacement part, then when that didn't pan out, he helped pick a new pedestal and fixtures. He was great about communicating with us along the way, a big plus in today's society. I highly recommend Benjamin if you have any plumbing needs. He was great to work with.

I was selling my house and had to install a gas cooktop, and my real estate agent recommended Benjamin to do the job. Very responsive and fair price for a licensed plumber. I could've done it myself or hire a handyman at lower price, but I wanted the piece of mind of having a plumber do the job correctly per code since it involved gas.
Once I was in my new house, I had pressure and hot water problems. I contacted Benjamin again and discussed several scenarios. Some involved irrigation line and he recommended using an irrigation repairman since licensed plumber is not required and to save money. I appreciated the honesty.
Highly recommend Benjamin. He is fairly priced and most important he is honest.

I used Ben about a couple weeks ago, I'm in a rental and experienced a reoccurring problem with my pilot light not staying lit. So after getting a very unhelpful response from the original company I used, I came across Ben's Plumbing.
As it started getting colder at nights recently I was looking to have someone come out sooner rather than later, so it was after hours! Now there is a fee (completely understandable) but very convenient.
Upon arriving at exactly when he said he would, I soon discovered that the water heater had been not incorrectly install BUT not up to code regulations. So he diagnosed the problem and took down my water heater information. After explaining that that's the same problem I had the prior year, he recommend he call the manufacturer and see what was going on. (I loved this because with the prior water heater company, they made me to the leg work which is difficult bc I don't know parts or explanation as well as the professionals)
Anyway, the water heater couldn't be fixed right then and there AND the manufacturer is on the east coast, so he said the soonest he'd have answers is 7/8am the next morning.
Next morning he had very early and promptly called, and had answers for me by 8am!
And had my replacement by 11am or so and install started before I was on my lunch! The install was probably longer than typical as he had to essentially do what the first company lacked to do and install the unit in properly.
It's been two weeks and I have no issues with my unit, and have had nice warm water for my morning showers! Aside from the good work performed and the great work ethic I interacted with, he is a very relatable and understanding human. While things of this nature aren't ever going to be cheap I do not recommend you cut corners and go with someone cheaper bc chances are they aren't doing it properly (like we discovered).

Reliable, efficient and honest. It's not easy finding an honest plumber and Benjamin is that. He gave me a quote over the phone and set a time to come unclog my drains. He arrived on time and was very professional. I would recommend him and will definitely call him in the future should I have any plumbing issues.

I've been meaning to write a review for Benjamin's Plumbing & Drain Cleaning for some time. We've used Benjamin for several years now, and I can say, without any doubt, that Benjamin is literally THE best when it comes to plumbing services... hands down!

Ben was great at helping me out the day before thanksgiving. My whole bottom floor was flooded with sewage from a clog on the main line. I am also a new home owner and he helped me out with using my home warranty and going through them first, they were no help they wanted to send a plumber 48hrs later. I called Ben back and he came to the house after normal business hours and cleared the main line. Thanks for everything Ben and I definitely would recommend your services.
He does what he says he will do, when he says and at the price he said. So glad we found this guy. He' snaked drains, installed a new sink, replace a water heater and put in a new sewer line to the street.
Every project was done when he said and at the price he quoted. As a private contractor he can do job's at a lower cost than the bigger companies.
As a bonus, he's training his son, so every job is done just right.

Highly recommend! My parents needed to replace their washer/dryer and dishwasher. I found this company on Yelp and George came the same day to provide an estimate. Two days later, Ben came with George and not only did they do the original scope, they also fixed the pipes under the sink at no additional cost. They were also super professional and nice to my parents.

If you are painstakingly looking for a plumber, look no further. Ben is the one you're looking for! Our shower broke down some 2 months ago and we haven't been able to use it since. It somehow made our living room ceiling downstairs leaked with water. Me and my wife had been looking for a plumber who is honest and reliable because these pandemic days you'll never know who to trust. A lot of big plumbing companies out there will rip you off by doing the unnecessary. Then you're hard-earned money just goes down the drain.
Ben explains what the problem is and would give you options the way you want to have it done.
He went out to buy the needed part in a local store and gave us discount.
Problem fixed in no time and on a Saturday! Nice family guy too!

I called Ben this morning to see about clearing a drain for me, he quoted me a price and time. He showed up when he said he would, and did the job for what he quoted me for. I will be calling him when ever I have plumbing needs.
I am very satisfied with the service provided by Ben! We had an issue with our shower and he was able to accommodate an appointment on a Saturday. He was punctual, friendly and was able to fix the issue in a few minutes. I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone!
The faucet in our shower wouldn't shut off in the evening and we needed to get it repaired ASAP. My husband called Ben and he was able to make it out to our home the same evening and fix the problem quickly. He was very professional and friendly and we couldn't have been happier with his work. Ben went out to my rental property to do some repairs our tenant had reported. He was very easy to get a hold of, went out to the property the next day, called to tell me the issue, then made the repairs quickly. It was easy to pay over the phone and he emailed a receipt to me for my records. Great service.
When we heard the sound of rushing water in our walls at midnight, we freaked out! I saw this company was open 24/7 and called immediately. Within 20 minutes he arrived and diagnosed the problem. We set up a replacement water heater for later that afternoon. He made sure that the set up was to code (the previous installation was not) and worked to get it all together. He even graciously helped clean up a water mess (that was our fault for not turning off the upstairs faucets after the water got turned back on). I would most definitely hire Benjamin and his crew again and will recommend them as well. Thanks, fellas!

Ben is the best! Water to a 4 plex was out due to a pipe break. When others said they couldn't do it, or wanted thousands of dollars to repair, Ben came after his previously scheduled jobs and stayed until the plumbing was fixed and water was restored to the building. There were tenants living there with children, so I am so grateful he went the extra mile and got the job done. I am a customer for life and will recommend him to everyone I know.
EXCELLENT!!!! Ben is definitely as good as it gets. Very personable, professional, and honest. I have been searching for a plumber to replace my former plumber who retired after being in the business his whole life. I have been through several plumbers since then and hugely unsatisfied with their workmanship, reliability, honesty and overall attitude.
Ben has renewed my belief that there are still good, honest, reliable people out there who take pride in their professions and relationships with people. I had an ongoing problem that three other plumbers could not seem to diagnose, nor seemed to care that they couldn't. It took Ben about 5 minutes to figure the problem out with very little effort. The fix was fairly major, but he had it done in one day with a very fair price.
After the repair, Ben actually called to check in and see if everything was going ok, and if I was happy with the work! Who does that anymore?
Needless to say, I have found my new plumber and will be sticking with Ben for what I hope to be a long time!

Ben is the best I have experienced. Being in the real estate business we are always need of a great plumber......he was the only plumber who took my emergency call on a leak from the main on a SUNDAY morning at 6am. He came and repaired the line(which was installed by a different plumber less than a year ago) at a reasonable price. He invested a solid 4 hours on Sunday and followed up 2 days later to make sure everything was good while my original plumber never followed up. God Bless Ben.....my family appreciates his efforts and I have referred him to all my peers in the business.

Ben and his guys took care of us on a complete repipe of the entire house. I would highly recommend him, he had great communication he answered anytime we called and when he gave us a time frame on what to expect and when work would be complete he was always spot on.
Benjamin was prompt, efficient, communicative, and very polite in changing out my water heater. He took the time to make sure to get the permit as I requested, and everything was cleaned up nicely when it was all done. He even came back for the inspection. The water heater works great! There was an issue with one of the supply lines and valves, but he took care of that as well, which I appreciate. Most importantly, he was able to get the job done quickly so that we had hot water within a day!

We had a slab leak in our home which constituted being an emergency. It was early morning, not quite 8am yet and I called about 4 local plumbers/handymen and nobody answered their phones. I left 4 messages with each of these individuals/establishments and not one even returned my urgent phone call pleading for assistance.
It was then that Benjamin's was referred to us by a family member and Ben called us back right away. He understood the urgency and proceeded to move around his already busy schedule that day in order to make it to our home and evaluate the issue.
He quickly diagnosed the issue and let us know that we definitely 100% had a slab leak. He spoke directly and truthfully covering all the options that we had in order to get it fixed. He steered us in the right direction but ultimately left the choice up to us.
We decided on going with fully re-piping the house, so that a slab leak would never again be a situation that we would have to be in.
I was concerned about the time it would take (as I have 3 large dogs that cannot be kept in one spot too long), and also concerned about the quality of work that would be done in my home.
Ben talked us through every step of the way and assured us that by the time this was over... it would appear that there was never a problem in the first place. Brand new plumbing in the entire house and they completely re-patched and textured all the holes they needed to gain access to plumbing within our walls. They respected the surrounding areas by covering everything with plastic or cloth. This included flooring, surrounding walls, appliances, furniture etc. Not only that, but they proceeded to clean up as best as possible once the job was done.
Our expectations were met 110%. Ben and his team went far and beyond what I believe any other contractors would have given us. He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, understanding, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the Riverside area. Rest assured that you would be treated fairly, kindly, and the job would be over before you know it. Our home was completely back to normal in 2 days time.

We had a leak on an outside faucet on a Saturday. The next day was the 4th of July and no service was answering their phone. We had to put water in buckets to use inside the house until we could get a plumber out. Ben came out on Monday even though many others were still closed for the holiday. He fixed the leak, added a turn off valve and gave several extremely helpful tips on how to protect the outdoor plumbing from the elements, etc. He was prompt, thorough and very polite. We will definitely call him the next time we have plumbing needs.
Excellent. Gave multiple options. Listed pros and cons for each along with the price and estimated longevity. Prices competitive.
Crew showed up in time, cleaned as they went, communicated and Elle's us inspect when they were done. Highly recommend.

This is delayed review. I had clogged washer line at my rental property. Ben was quick to respond. Good communication as well. This is second time he worked with me. I will call him again when I need a plumber.
Ben is a true professional. He arrived early the next morning after I called him one afternoon with my plumbing issue. He got the job done quickly and his prices are very fair. He knows his stuff and is easy to speak with. Next time I need a plumber I will definitely be calling Ben!
Not only was Ben very kind but he was on time, he called with updates, was quick, and left my bathroom cleaner than when he started. He even relit our pilot light on our hot water heater that I didn't know had blown out. He explained that he was going to do and spent time trying to fix what we already had to save us money. I will not ever use a different plumber than him. Thank you so much for making our bath tub great
Had them clear out our main sewer line 3 years ago and we haven't had any issues since. Currently writing this because someone asked for a recommendation and I had to find the company again to share their info and recommend. Tech was friendly and very informative and cost was fair and reasonable. Will definitely call again when we need them.
I HIGHLY recommend Ben for Drain cleaning. Ben took care of an emergency situation for us a year ago when roots and debris clogged the drain underneath commercial property going to the street. With all the rain we have had and are expecting I called him today to make sure the drain which previously had major root problems was not going to cause flooding. He came out to the property located in downtown Redlands within two hours and ran a cable 110 feet and cleared roots and debris.
Ben is knowledgeable, reputable, honest and reasonable.
I came home from work to find a pipe leaking everywhere!! I live in a back house and had to call the landlord to explain what was going on. We called Benjamin's and was told he could arrive in an hour. To my surprise he arrived with in 40 mins and came to look at the area.
We were told because of the hour he was booked for the night but would come back the next day. As he was leaving he got a notification that one of the Apts has canceled and he was willing to stay and have it fixed that night!!
We had such a wonderful experience with something that's never fun to deal with. Benjamin's really went above and beyond my expectations. I will DEFINITELY recommend them and even use them again if any other home issues arise !

Honestly the friendliest and kindest person I've met. I called pretty late but Benjamin's Plumbing was able to be at my home in 20 minutes and talked me through how to shut off the fountain of water spewing all over my lawn. After looking them up on yelp I saw they had great reviews from others and was not disappointed. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs their services. I just wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
This guy is great! He Drove all the way to Palm Springs to install the sewer lateral in my backyard! He was the least expensive price and the best service around! I got five quotes and he was the best. You can't go wrong. He's the best!!! He even comes out to maintain my properties in Palm Springs AND in LA. Look no further!
