This is a great plumbing company. It's family owned and the entire crew was polite, professional, and experts  in the field. I contacted their office and had a response at my home within an hour. The crew started to work immediately. The price was reasonable and the work was completed satisfactorily.

I contacted several plumbing professionals to install a soft water system for our house that required rerouting of pipes, as well as to drain out and perform maintenance on our tankless heater.

On the day that Luis came to our house for the estimate, we also happened to have a toilet backup.

Luis is a gentleman for charging just the minimum to clear out the toilet backup. But the overall install of the soft water system was pretty impressive!

Highly recommend Luis for all your plumbing needs. I know I'll be calling him back for the next set of house related plumbing projects .

Mr. Barbosa has come to the rescue twice for me.  The first was to install a toilet onto an uneven floor.  The toilet is stable and problem free.  The 2nd job was the trouble shooting/investigation of a very slow bath drain. Mr. Barbosa discovered a very old bath drain stopper had fallen from its support and become fused to the inside of the pipe.  Luis replaced the whole mechanism and the bath drains perfectly!  
Mr. Barbosa went out of his way to work with my schedule, arrived at the times arranged, is professional and works with integrity.  His attention to detail and advice are much appreciated.  I do not look forward to plumbing issues but feel assured the job will be done right and at a competitive price with Barbosa Plumbing.

Luis and Team are by far the best company I've ever worked with/had work for me on my projects. They just wrapped up a big apartment building complete re plumb job. They took a 3 unit apartment building and converted it to a 5 unit apartment building. They completely replaced/re plumbed the entire building with all new copper, PEX, and ABS pipe. They plumbed for 10 Nee bathrooms, 5 Nee kitchens and all new irrigation for outside landscaping. They are up to date on all necessary code per Los Angeles. Having them onsite is biggest piece of mind.  I would only recommend Barbosa Plumbing - Luis Barbosa!

Barbosa plumbing and Luis B, the owner, were great to work with. He was responsive, came through quickly for an assessment/estimate, was very competitive with his quote, and didn't upsell me on work I didn't need. Oddly enough, despite the small business nature, he had all the hardware on his truck that would be needed for a major repair, that one would expect from a larger enterprise. He also minimized the cosmetic damage required to repair and replace the pipe. Definitely recommend!

Luis, is what many plumbers are not. He's honest, reliable, and dependable. I needed some work done and he answered almost immediately. He pointed out the problem and gave me some options on how to correct it. The following day, the job was complete. Barbosa Plumbing is going to be my go to plumbers for any and all plumbing needs. He was quick to reply and give a quote that was SUPER competitive vs the other companies I had received quotes from. So, I scheduled an appointment to confirm the estimate in person. Luis was very punctual regarding the time he gave me. And when he arrived he figured out the issue might something even simpler than the scope of work everyone else deemed necessary. Rather than having to rip through drywall and replacing drains and P-traps Luis simply looked and saw a simple seal needed replacing actually saving me even more money. He left, ordered the seal, and scheduled another appointment. And again was very punctual and texting me his estimated arrival time. He finished job quickly and cleanly.

Installed an earthquake shut off valve for a reasonable price when other companies charged twice as much. He was not the cheapest quote I got but something inside me told me to stick w Luis. Just got him for another job so will update the review as needed but so far , I highly recommend Luis.

I hired Luis to install a recessed gas valve for my new slide in gas range because of his knowledge and experience working with gas lines. He was very professional and responsive and I like the fact that he personally answers his calls. He and one of his workers promptly came on time 7am on New Year's Day Saturday!  They even took their shoes off before entering which was very considerate of them. Most importantly they did an excellent job in installing the valve and done in timely fashion. I would definitely hire him again.
