Have had them out a few times over the years for everything from roof unplugging of utility drain, to installing a new utility tub.
Great service, on time, awesome and respectful workmen.

I had a bad, leaking  gas water heater in the garage.  I called Ballard, the afternoon prior, The guy, John shows up this morning, on time.......very personable personality, and went right to work, checking things out, and giving me an on the spot, estimate!  

Sears was here, the day prior, with a 40 gallon water heater, to install.  But, because my water heater, had old, out dated, illegal gas, and water pipes, and vent, they said they couldn't install it, and said that I needed a plumber, to come out, and update the pipes, and vent, to current code specifications.

So, I called Ballard Plumbing!  Not only did they corrected the pipes, and vent, they also brought in a brand new 30 gallon water heater also......everything, was done in one package, not like with Sears!

John was very knowledgeable, and quick!  I was super impressed & pleased, with his work, because everything went so smoothly, and at a reasonable price too!

I know one thing for sure.....if I have any air conditioning, heating, or sewer problems, in the future...........I'm definitely calling: BALLARD PLUMBING!

Called Ballard again. This time hot water heater, circa 1997 was starting to have issues. Kept turning up temp dial to get hot water and very loud noises during the heating of water. Decided to have it replaced before complete failure. They showed up when promised, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Quick service. Start to finish he only took an hour. I had already turned off the gas, water and drained the tank. I will always call Ballard!

I had Ballard install my first heating and air conditioner approx. 16 years ago . It worked great until a year or so ago when a power surge or something messed up a valve in my compressor . I always ask for Art when I have my yearly service check . Art always does a great job and I completely trust him . He got Dennis the owner on the phone who remembered me from the first install and gave me a great deal on a new high efficient AC unit . Our heater was acting up and was clicking on and off frequently, so we called Ballard Heating who sent Dennis out to see what was going on.  Dennis was friendly, professional and fixed our sensor in less than 10 minutes. Happy and warm customers in Highland, Ca.

Ballard's service is AWESOME!!  We've used them before and didn't hesitate to utilize their expert service again.  I called with a concern regarding our air conditioner not cooling and received  speedy service.  Art (amazing, professional guy) came over today for a service call.  Unfortunately, our 14 year old air conditioner bit the big one in this nasty weather, but a new one is being installed tomorrow.  Owner, Dennis is a LIFESAVER!!!!  I highly recommend this honest company!

We have used them several times. The last 2 times were not representative of past experiences. They came and cleared the roots in a pipe less than 2 months ago. It failed. We have been doing this every 9 months to a year for over 10 years to maintain (Ballard charged twice as much as others but we liked them). Normally my Uncle helps me with this stuff. Today I was here to deal with them on my own. The on-site tech thought I was an idiot or at least talked down to me like I was. Swore he couldn't clear  the roots from my pipe because it was ruining his equipment and apparently no one in the world clears roots with a snake, no they just replace their pipes (even though he himself cleared them less than 2 months ago for us). Also, never told us we needed to do anything further until today. After being talked down to and being told it's not his fault I don't want to repair my pipes versus clearing the roots, listening to him make false claims and talking bad about my uncle, I realized I was dealing with someone without any customer service skills and I just needed them to leave so I could get a professional out here. Thanked him for trying and called another plumber. Here we are thanks to the other plumber, pipe is cleared within 20 minutes of their arrival. No problems at all, no damage to their equipment. So sad, we used to really trust them, just can't anymore.

FYI -
we Called for cooler installation - was told they do not do nor repair evap coolers.

Our experience with Ballard's was awesome! Our A/C decided to go out on the hottest day of the year so far so we understood that from time of call till time of service there would be  bit of a waiting period, but Art came to the rescue at noon when it was already 90° PLUS and was so sweet and helpful. My husband's family has been going to Ballard's for over 35 years and this was our first time needing their services. We didn't feel overcharged or hustled and the issue that we had was pretty minor in comparison to other HVAC problems that could have arisen. Thank you Art you were so awesome in your service and disposition. You came out on a hot day, during a pandemic AND wore a mask! These HVAC guys don't get enough credit! Thank you Ballard's, we will ALWAYS recommend you! Ask for Art or Bryan (my mother-in-law's technician) and you WON'T be disappointed. Though I'm sure all of their techs are top notch!

After being a Ballard customer for over 20 years - I could only tolerate so much.  Two phone calls and one email unanswered.  I'm now a happier customer of Burgeson's.

I almost never write reviews but I felt should for Ballard Plumbing.  Being a single women, it's usually difficult to find someone who is honest, reliable, and respectful.  (I've been talked down to and bullied many times by so-called professionals)

I had a busted hot water pipe and initially called anther plumbing business.  The fellow they sent was nice enough but he gave me a price quote of $10,000. That not only scared me, it made me nauseous.

I started  calling around for more estimates, not feeling very hopeful.  Ballards was my 1st call. They sent Larry who was not only ontime and knowledgeable but he was respectful and put me at ease immediately.  After a thorough inspection he gave me an estimate of $2,400.  I stopped my search.

Larry made an appointment, cameback (on time) with  some help.  They repiped my hot water line and Larry did some repairs on my water heater. The job came out perfect and clean.

So thank you Ballard Plumbing for sending Larry and making this a positive experience.  I'm now a lifelong customer.  Thank you.

Had an issue with a gas line at my house and I was clueless.  Got 8 quotes from others, including from JON from Ballard Plumbing.  He was only one of the 8 plumbers who tried to figure out a solution without just replacing the entire system.  He was not interested in just charging me for work I never needed.  Gave me the most fair estimate of the 8 and was extremely patient/honest in dealing with my questions.  Educated me and really just tried to do the right thing.  I am so happy I chose Jon from Ballard.  On day of the job, he found an even easier solution once he started the job and called me to let me know I did not even need the extensive job everyone else had quoted me.  He fixed the gas line quickly and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars.  He could have just done the job he quoted and never told me that I did not need it as all the work was underground.  I would have never known and still been happy (ignorantly).  Jon however was too HONEST for that and did the right thing.  I will never call another plumber again.  Jon was AWESOME!!

Simply stated Ballard is the best in the area. We have relied on them for over 20 years now.

So let me tell you about my weekend. Sunday was my partners birthday and we had planned a fun day at Disneyland with a perfect lunch at the Carthay Circle Restaurant to celebrate. It was not to be. 4am in the morning he woke me up from a sound sleep with the water heater is gushing water and we have 2 of water in the garage! I bolted from bed and hurried out to the garage to be greeted by water pouring out of a broken pipe flooding the whole garage. I quickly saw the leak and went to the main water line and shut off the water to the house. What a rude awakening! Well we swept out all the water we could into the driveway and removed the soggy items into the driveway. I found that the culprit was a water heater connector that burst. Off to Home Depot at 7 am when they opened to get a new connector. New connector installed I turned to water back on and hoped for the best. Success! No leaking and we had water in the house again. Spent the rest of Sunday drying out things and throwing away those things that couldn't be salvaged. Oy vey! What a birthday surprise for Darrell! Upside is we have a clean garage and since I took Monday off work we will celebrate at Disneyland after all.

The soggy saga continues. A little after midnight Monday Darrell woke me up telling me the leak I repaired was gushing water. Stumbling, half asleep, to the garage I see that the connector I installed had failed and water was spewing from one of the fittings. Out I go to the water main to shut off the water to the house again. Thankfully Darrell had heard the water running and found the issue right away and, as it wasn't GUSHING water like Sunday morning, we didn't get totally flooded again. Whew. We decided it is time to call a professional, Ballard, which we did this morning when they opened at 8am. Needless to say the day at Disney was out the window

Well back to Ballard.  When I called they said between 11am and 2pm and would come sooner if possible as we were without water in the house. Cody, always a pleasure to work with, came at 11.30 with a trainee and I showed them the issue. The connector I installed was melted on the fittings. Apparently there was a power surge or other electrical issue that ate through the brass connector fittings. Cody said he'd never seen anything like it. Cody strongly suggested we call an electrician to diagnose the problem in case there is an underlying electrical issue that caused this. He proceeded to replace the connector with copper pipe bypassing the connector after my OK. I also mentioned that recently the hot water wasn't as hot as it used to be so Cody started to diagnose the problem. He flushed the water heater and when that didn't help he went on to say he thought it was a cartridge in one of our faucets that is failing so the cold water was flowing into the hot water line. After replacing the cartridge on the shower faucet, the first one he suspected, suddenly we had hot water again. As usual they cleaned up everything and handed me a bill far less then I expected. Again, as usual.

All the team at Ballard are professional, polite, friendly with no BS or bloated bills. After 20 plus years I am never disappointed nor regret doing business with them. I can't recommend them more highly. Plumbing or A/C needs? Just call Ballard.

Called Dennis on a Tuesday to schedule an eval on Wednesday. He was prompt, quick and candid with what needed to be done. Decided to move forward the next day and sure enough, the guys arrived on time again and knocked it out in less than two hours. Fair price, great service, friendly and knowledgable. Dennis, Mike and Cindy are great people who run a reputable company. Buying an a/c is scary because most of us don't know the system, components, etc., so having a company you trust is extremely comforting. No need to call anyone else...just call Ballard.

My air went out on a triple digit day in August!  Called Ballards at 4:30pm and they were out the next day at 8 am.  Determined the problem ( I knew my unit was hanging on by a thread and was quite old so no surprise that I needed a new unit).  I was given options, chose one, and the work began an hour later!  The crew was very professional and finished the job in 5 hours!  They charged me slightly below the estimate (which never happens anymore).

This is not the first time I have used Ballard, and it certainly won't be the last!

Had used Ballard for years, but now lost me as a customer. Paid them $5300 two years ago for a new AC unit. They installed and it worked fine for the first season and a half, then the unit started becoming less and less efficient in cooling. Last week unit still runs but blows warm air. They come out for a service call and state the coil in the attic had pinhole leaks in it (which they failed to replace two years ago) and they were going to offer me an estimate for replacing just the coil and another for the entire system. After the tech calls his supervisor, they only now are want to replace the entire system for $10000!!!. I pay for their service call and tell them to leave. Get another company to come out and they check the system. They state that the AC unit Ballard installed was NOT designed to run with the attic coil because of a different refrigerant and much higher pressures being used by the new AC unit. So Ballard basically installed an AC that blew holes in the attic coil because of their ineptness and lack of knowledge.

July 6 2023 UPDATE: Got an almost instant response from Ballards GM Rick after my original posting. Rick took care of the issue and took full responsibility for the problem I had, sending out a crew on short notice, same day and fixed the issue with a new coil. He also refunded the service call charge for us and did follow up phone calls to make sure we were taken care of. Glad to see their company still believes in customer service and taking care of their customers, even when we get ticked off at them and the effort of Rick to take care of the situation and his professionalism. I was referred by a former plumber friend and was not disappointed! We had shower and toilet issues in one bathroom. The person who answered my call was friendly and efficient. Jordan showed up right in the middle of the time frame I was given and was super polite and friendly. He gave me the quote upfront after an initial assessment and the end price was exactly what he quoted. He was quick and neat and took the time to explain the problem so we can avoid it in the future. I will recommend this company to EVERYONE!!

Worst case scenario, upstairs A/C quit Last Night!! Best case scenario, we called Ballard Heating & A/C, they sent a guy out early, he checked it out, called in for repair to replace this 10 year old unit! The new unit is in! Working good! We always call Ballard (The Best in Inland Empire) I would give a higher than 5 star rating!! We have called on Ballard for over 20+ years, the very best!

Manuel came over and hooked up are gas stove today he was very friendly and professional he also gave us information on hooking water up so we can use the ice maker in are fridge

Daniel from Ballard AC fixed my AC recently during a heat wave. He was skilled, helpful and friendly. Went out of his way to ensure my unit was working to my satisfaction.  The right man for the job, representing a company I trust to back up their products and get the job done.

I've used Ballard Plumbing on multiple occasions, and they've always done great work for me. The latest job involved replacing my water heater on about 1/2 an hour's notice. I called at 7:30 in the morning, and their tech was out at 8:15am. Two hours later, they had replaced my old water heater, and installed a new one. Decent prices, good customer service. All around, Ballard does A-1 work.

If you ever need your A/C work on this is the place to call. Art was very professional went straight to work, new what was wrong and was done in about 15 min. And the price was great.

I recently contacted Ballard to service my HVAC it wasn't blowing cold air. The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant took all my information. They were quick to send out a technician to access my issue. Daniel was very courteous knowledgeable and efficient quickly determined my capacitor went out. He explained in detail how it operates and showed me the meter reading, replaced it and had me up and running. He then checked the airflow on the all the vents to be sure they were good. I actually dreaded calling for service because of past experiences but Daniel was such a breath of fresh air. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.

Another five stars update: Even though Ballard is our go-to for heating and air conditioning we did not think to call them when our washer started backing up. We called another well-known company and they came out and diagnosed that the sewer line was plugged. They quoted a price  that I felt was too much  so I opted to not use their services. Then I remembered Ballard and gave them a call. A couple of hours later Manuel was checking it out and shortly after he solved our problem--which actually only required unplugging a line from the washer to the sewer line. This was one third of the cost of the other guys. And had clearing the line to the sewer been the problem the charge would have been half the price of the other guys. I'm glad I remembered Ballard and now have their card taped to my hot water heater.

The guy I just spoke to at ballard just lost our business.  We've used ballard for the last five years not only on our own home but 3 other homes. It used to be $69 per home for an A/C check up  Now we are billed for $75.  This same guy said it's always been $75 for years now.  Do I need to show him the receipts?  Won't  be using these guys again.

Frank from Ballard Plumbing and Heating was not only on time he proved to be knowledgeable, fast and friendly and made sure everything worked right before he left.

Around three years ago, I had a new unit, air and heat put on the house after the old unit quit.
I was very happy with the whole process .
The thermostat in the house went bad so I called Ballard again and they sent Art , one of the technicians that put the new heat / air conditioner in three years ago and it took him about five minutes assess the problem and fix it . At 72 years old, the cold we have been experiencing this December in San Bernardino made it hard on me and my wife. my house is nice and toasty now thank you Ballard and thank you Art.

I've had Ballard Plumbing and Heating come to my house for 2 different. Once for AC repair and another time for plumbing. Both times workers were very professional and knowledgeable. Manuel is an excellent plumber. I was very impressed with his problem solving and patience. I know I will keep Ballard's number handy for future needs

Called them in a pinch,  referred from a neighbor..Dennis and his guys showed up sooner than expected,  were polite, knowledgeable and professional and eager to help us out... they replaced my old,  inefficient and ineffective units with a new unit that is above and beyond our expectations.  We've been in this house for 18 years and this is the first real time we've been happy with our air conditioning.  They did a great job for us and I highly recommend them!!

We scheduled a routine check up of our AC system before the summer with Ballard. They came out to our house with a clear and upfront price to do the work.

While they were here, Daniel was very professional and walked me through the ins and outs of our system. He highlighted places where I can do a better job of maintaining our system while also taking his time to tune up our system. He was very professional and I was very impressed with his work. I would highly recommend working with Ballard and I know who I will call in the future.

My air conditioning took a nose dive over the weekend & first thing Monday (today) I started shopping around for a repairman.  I heard good things around the office about Ballard's & my mother told me that years ago I went to elementary school with Mr. Ballard's (don't know which Mr. Ballard though) granddaughters.
I called Ballard's & was promptly given a timeframe of when they could be out (same day!).  They arrived only an hour into the timeframe & was very efficient.  Even as I type this, he is fixing our problem.  Of course I almost passed out when my boyfriend called to tell me the cost of replacing the fan (but who doesn't pass out when paying for services), I quickly realized it was well worth it to get the deal over with & my unit serviced.  
I was very impressed with the service provided & would highly recommend Ballard's to anyone looking for honest HVAC repairs.

Ballard Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is one of the best service companies I have ever experienced in my 30 years of stay in this area.  I called Ballard at 9.00 AM on Monday and their Technician was at my place within the promised three hours.  He was a polite gentleman who took a look and determined that my big 5 inch filter was dirty, and had caused the thermostat to go off.  He replaced it with a temporary filter and advised me to contact one of their competitors who were the actual agents for my make of furnace.  But he was able to revive my system to have the air-conditioning going while I waited for the right filter.  To my surprise, he didn't even charge me for his service call, or the temporary filter.  He said, since I have to call another company for a permanent solution, he did not feel ethical to charge me anything.  Thank you Ballard, the kindness and the professionalism of your technicians is commendable.  Wish all companies were as empathetic and service minded as your organization. Kudos.

Tree roots in my front drain to sewer. They dug and dug for hours and finally fixed the issue almost half way under a sidewalk 3 to 4 feet deep. Quality work and eased my worries.

I called Ballard for a broken water pipe in my bathroom wall. The plumber who came out was named Coty and he was beyond helpful. He was able to fix numerous issues we had in our house. He was efficient and very professional. I highly recommend Ballard AC, Heating and Plumbing. They did a great job!

Appeared unproffessional. Assumed my repairs were through a management company so never told me of service fee. Day of appointment heard nothing, so I followed up only to be told that they no longer work with management companies. I was apologized to by Cindy and told that although they messed up I could not be billed for the service fee I was never advised of.

So impressed with the service and fair price! We called Ballard Plumbing at 2 Pm when we broke our water main trying to turn off our water. They arrived by 4 and had fixed the main and the leaking shower (which was the reason we were trying to turn off our water) within an hour! Highly qualified and courteous plumbers!

I am currently experiencing a slab leak for the second time this year. I know I need to re-pipe my home and time is of the essence. This being said I had several plumbing companies scheduled to come by today to provide bids and at the end of the day I was going to make a decision.

Ballard was one the companies scheduled. They arrived at the same time another company was on site and I asked Ballard to wait 10-15 minutes. I could tell by the techs look he wasn't going to wait and sure enough a few minutes later I see the Ballard truck leave.

The fact Ballard wasn't even willing to provide the professional courtesy to wait a few minutes while a competitor completed their scope tells me how my re-pipe experience would go should I use Ballard.

Ballard made my decision simple and easy! I will NOT be using Ballard and neither should you!

Had Ballard come out to our home a few times.
We had them out for our A/C and a front line leak as well on separate occasions.
Now the ladies/girls who answer their phone line aren't friendly and have major attitude.
They act like you are bothering them.
So that was not fun to say the least, but we still decided to have them out.
We saw a lot of their reviews were good.

Most of the workers who came out for the jobs on our home were friendly, respectful, and on time.
We had never had any problems with their work, but on this one occasion one of their employees came through our home with equipment and damaged our wall when he was leaving.
He didn't say anything I came home after work to find a big A$$ hole in my wall.
I asked my husband what happened he said he told the guy to let himself out & my husband didn't see it until hours later.
I was soooooo pissed off that someone would do damage and not let us know.
How disrespectful and so unprofessional!!!
I wouldn't have even been mad if he would have just said oh sh!t I accidentally hit your wall.  
It was an easy fix a little drywall and new paint.
It would have been a no harm no foul, but to not say anything was just so sh!tty!!!
I will NEVER hire them ever again because of that incompetent jerks actions!

The rest of the workers who came out are awesome and they deserve 5 stars, but unfortunately one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch!

After researching several different brands of A/C units online and getting several estimates, along with speaking to Dennis about replacing our two 16 y/o York units (one was leaking and causing damage to our ceiling), we went with Dennis/Ballard and set an install date of 9/10/21. We chose to go with (2) complete Carrier 3-ton 16 seer units. Their pricing seemed reasonable when compared to others, and their Google reviews speak for themselves. I'd like to tell you everything went as expected with the install, however I can't.
Their crew of 5 showed up as scheduled and took the time to cover flooring and personal property to protect it. (appreciated) The removal of the old units and install of the new Carrier units seemed to go seamlessly, only taking around 6 hours from start to finish. Before leaving they cleaned up any mess they made, which was also appreciated.  By the time they left our house it was cool both upstairs and now downstairs as well.
I'm a do-it-yourself guy, who had done a lot of different types of construction work when I was younger. So, I know more than most. I decided after they left, to go up into the attic and check out the new units. I had been up there a lot over the past week drying out the insulation and making sure there wasn't any additional leaking from the running unit.  I noticed right away that the top of the NEW evaporative coil box they had just installed was crushed!  Obviously, I wasn't happy, I had just spent about $20,000 and they installed this?  I had done online research on this unit, so I knew based on pictures there was some void area near where it was crushed, and it might not have damaged to the coil.  However, they obviously made no attempt to pull the dent out, and it was on the edge where it connected to the air handler unit. There was NO way for there to be a proper seal of the two connected units regardless of how much tape they used.  Why would a respectable company knowingly complete the install of a damaged product, without consulting their supervisor or me?  Had I not traveled back up into the attic to check out my new A/C, the damaged unit would still be up there.  Would this damage VOID the manufacturer's warranty? Likely!  What would have happened if 4 years down the road, I had to call Ballard because the unit stopped cooling. Would they have taken responsibility for that damage?  I checked out the rest of the attic install, and everything else looked as it should from what I could tell.  So, I went outside to check out the compressor units, and there I found that they had failed to strap down both newly replaced units properly. Obviously, not as critical as the coil, however, I was informed prior to installation, they would be.  So, this just added to the frustration.
I called Dennis right away and told him about my concerns with the quality of the work done at my home. Ultimately, insisting that the coil box be replaced, and the condensers secured.  To his credit, Dennis said he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy.
Had the coil been what it should have been, I'd have given Ballard 5 stars. But I have to be real, we spent a lot of money and deserved better than this.  We have a 2-year parts and labor warranty, and I will update accordingly.

I really appreciate the honesty received  with the services. They were on time and professional, AND budget friendly. My kitchen sink was clogged, & I was previously quoted $6,500 in repairs from another company, they managed to fix it for $125! Definitely my go to plumbers from now on. Thank you guys!

John did an excellent job for us. He was knowledgeable and price wise he was extremely FAIR. I highly recommend his workmanship. He went above and beyond to ensure that the gas leak issue that I had was fixed RIGHT.

I had tried to schedule service with these people a couple times and have no such luck. The young lady that answers the phone, Jasmine.  Is very rude and very un professional. They really should look into replacing her with someone with more mannerism and respect for future and returning customers. I wont be contacting them for services in the future

I rarely give 5 stars, but that is what is due here.  My wife and I are very busy, so when our parents have an issue, it is nice to know that we can rely on Mike and his crew to handle it. We just ask that they treat our family like they would like theirs to be treated. Most recently, Larry came out and handled a plumbing problem for our family and did a great job.

We've had the hardest time with plumbers in Redlands...so much so that we've put off several projects simply because of the aggravation and cost. We recently had a leak that couldn't be ignored, so based on the reviews here I decided to give Ballard a try. I was very pleased...they were very courteous, professional, responsive and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Called Ballard because my AC quit working, a problem with the fan in the furnace.  I called at 8am and Dennis (the owner) was at my door by 9:30.  Along with Dennis was his son, both were very friendly and professional.  Their service was beyond reproach,  and I can not recommend them more highly.  After giving me the initial quote and then completing the repair I was amazed when the bill was far less than ($700 less) quoted.  I won't use anyone else in the future for my plumbing and hvac work.

We've used Ballards several times over the years, sometimes in emergency situations, and sometimes just for routine stuff. Every time we've called them they've responded in a timely way. They've done a super job at a reasonable price.

We just got a new toilet to save water, but the first one didn't do what it was supposed to do. I called, and they came the very next day and put in a new one, no questions asked. That one didn't do an acceptable job either, so I called again. This time they put in a different brand, and it works perfectly.  AND while the plumber was waiting for the new one to arrive, he put a new cartridge in the bathtub faucet valve for a very reasonable price. Way to go, Ballard's! We love you!!!

We starting having trouble with our air condition not being cold and it also became very noisy.  I called to have it looked at and had a technician here the next day.  Art Arrieta was great and very knowledgeable.  He explained the problems.  We requested a quote and ended up buying new.  Installation was the next day!  Thomas and Saul are an impressive team.  They were here at approximately 10am and finished the entire installation around 3:15.  Extremely thorough and cleaned up very well.  In addition we walked around to all the components and Thomas took us through them.  We are  very happy with the product and service!

Very good service!!! They responded very promptly, even during the middle of summer. Had I waited on my home warranty company, I would have had to wait a week. Ballard came out same day!!! To top it off, I only had to pay $4 more than what I would have had to pay the warranty co for a service request!!! Highly recommended!!!

We've used Ballards for as long as I can remember. They're always prompt and take care of every issue we have. This old house has plumbing issues pretty much on the regular. Ballards takes care of us and our old pipes with professionalism and patience.

Prompt service. They replaced the valves in my garage to the washimg machine that were frozen and also replaced the outside cut off valve which was also frozen You discover these things when your washer has a leak. The old plumbing was origonal to the house and they put in new equipment that is so much easier to use. Good work. Nice clean job. Plumbers were professional and polite.

Really pleased with this company.  I had a new faucet installed. The plumber charges fair prices and went above and beyond to install it with extra sealant and took his time to make sure it was installed well. He cleaned up all the mess after and was very professional.

Ballard Plumbing to the Rescue!!! ......Yep got a call from my wife and she said there was sand coming out of the shower drains.NOT A GOOD THING!....Our plumber was Manual. He sized up the situation and it was our main line clogged. He was done in about 1hr 1/2. Great Job...Very Professional and Courteous ...definitely use their services again.

I have a main water line break and have had no water since Saturday afternoon; it's Monday. I called at 8:10am and was told the owner would call me back to schedule an appointment. When asked how long that might be since I have already been without water 2 days, I was told 'they are in and out all day.' At 4pm still no call so I called again. Was told the owner 'usually comes in around 5pm or so and goes through all the messages then'. Not exactly what I would call customer service. UPDATE - Around 545p I get a call from the owner about my inquiry for service. I explained my displeasure with having to wait an entire day. Aside from telling me they are shorthanded on Mondays, he told me since I only wanted an estimate, I had to wait, if I had told them I wanted repairs they would have scheduled a guy to come out. What? OK, so if I am willing to blindly agree to repairs they would have run right over, but since I just wanted an estimate, they only return those calls after hours (which I was not told when I called at 8 am). This is not a cheap repair, thus why I want an estimate. He did not understand how I might be upset when I have had no water for 2 days, and they only call back to schedule estimates after 5pm. The other company didn't have anything available today so scheduled for tomorrow but put me on a priority list for today in case someone became available because she recognized the fact I have had no water. Around 1130a I got a call that a technician would be available within 30 minutes. He came as promised and completed the estimate for me. That's the service I would expect. I did just notice that nearly all the plumbers on Yelp show 'responds to quote requests within 1 hour' but Ballard shows 'responds to quote requests in 7 hours.' At the end of the conversation the owner asked how I could give a 1 star Yelp rating 'when I didn't even do any work for you.' Need I say  more?

We recently had a new a/c- heater installed. Brent, the salesman, was very professional and informative. The workers were very efficient. They arrived, on time and cleaned up after the job was completed. And the price was right!!!

All I can say is AWESOME! We came home from vacation to find our AC not working when we got back. I called this morning to set up an appointment and got same day service. They were here within a few hours of my call. Checked & repaired within 15 minutes. Super friendly Tech who didn't try to sell added stuff, unlike their competitor! Will definitely call again!

I called at 8:15 am, & they gave us a timeframe of 12-4pm that day. The 2 technicians arrived about 12:40, & by 1:10 had the problem figured out. They explained our options, & the cost. When we chose to replace our a.c. unit, they called another tech to bring the new one out, while they worked at taking out the old unit. Between the 3 techs, they had it all done by 4pm. Cleaned up, hauled away, polite, fast same-day service on a Friday, with no extra charges. Terrific!

They did not help me because I am African American. I called them for a appt and when I called back because they never showed up. They told me they never spoke to me. If they gonna hate me of my color than I think the whole world should know black lives matter too. Why hate me because of my color. I was told they don't have any appt available. I understand people don't like African American for what ever there problem is
With our race but we are hardworking people no different than a white or or yellow person. I was hurt as with all the stuff happening in the world u would think they get it but obviously hate is instilled and taught and I won't let your company make me be angry and mess up my day

I called Ballard for a leaking toilet and they got to us same day. Our technician Jordan showed up right as scheduled and fixed the problem in under an hour. Called late Sunday afternoon..not really expecting a call back until the next day. But within an hour I got a call back from Dave. He was so nice and so helpful. When I explained the problem with my air conditioner he had me go check the filter and it turned out to be the problem.

I'm giving them one star because they showed up to the job site. I called one morning to set up an appointment for the next day. Had a plumber arrive when I told him what the issue was, he jumped to conclusions and said this is going to end up costing you lots of money. That was a big turn off. The guy hadn't even taking a knee to take a look to see what the situation was. In short he never did even put his gloves on. He said I'm probably not the guy that specializes in this will get you another guy tomorrow

We decided to get new air conditioners and got 3 bids. The bids ranged from 23,500-50,000 for similar systems. It took 24 hours from estimate to completion and now our 4,500 sf house cools down in minutes rather than an hour. Excellent service and professional. We will definitely use them again.

Had an excellent experience with Ballard. I first actually called a competitor for a technician to come and take a look at the our AC unit and they never even showed up! Then stumbled upon Ballard, gave them a call to schedule service. The technician was very good, quick and fixed the problem! Thankfully our AC now works. I don't think I'd go with anybody else. Only give them 1 star because I'm force too straight crooks feel like we got strong armed robbed by these crooks my girl paid for them to come out and look at a washer machine guy came in and moved the washer and stated he couldn't fix it and left and didn't even put the washer back and charged 99 dollars for that cheap ass service I wouldn't even call it service and then to top it off after the crooks left called another company who came out a half hour later and came in and fixed it in less then 10 Min so that's my story from yesterday don't use these crooks

Every time I've called Ballard Plumbing, someone has come within the hour. I really appreciate the customer service. My service provider was Landon and he came and fixed the leaking pipe on my air conditioner unit. He even completed a tune up while he was here when I asked if they provided that service. I was impressed by the professionalism, response time and resolution to my issue. My furnace wouldn't turn on. Dennis came to my house and within 10 minutes my furnace was working. Ballard's didn't try to upsell anything. Dennis came, fixed the issue and left behind a satisfied customer!

The gas company turned off my gas wall heater as they stated it was installed improperly and could set the house on fire. I called Ballard and was sent a text that a tech named Art will be arrviing to inspect my wall heater within 15 mins of my call. Art informed me the wall heater could not be salvaged and they would install a new one for me. They did so and it is working great.

My air conditioning was blowing hot air which was horrible as it has been muggy and over 100° outside.  I called Ballard at 1:00 pm and was given 2pm to 5pm window of time.  Dennis showed up at our door at 2pm! He listened and was knowledgeable.  He knew right away what the problem was, and got the OK to do the necessary repair. He worked efficiently and was done in 20 minutes. The cost of repair was pricey (but when you're hot and miserable, and have dogs panting and looking like they were going to pass out), I gladly paid the bill. Bottomline is I trust Ballard and highly recommend their services.

Good job gentlemen.   My hot water heater decided to go in the fritz . not only did these guys replace it very quickly, they worked efficiently around my schedule, and even helped me clear out the area around my unit.   On top of that they snaked a drain for me, at a very low cost.  
Less than  hours later, shebang, hot water again.    They also extended an extremely bad job done previously which kinked a line limiting flow.

Our AC randomly stopped cooling the house, we tried a couple tricks to fix it to no avail. Our landlord called Ballard, they sent Joshua out the next day, and he did a great job. Found the issue in a few minutes, replaced the part under warranty, then he cleaned the unit, and gave us a less restrictive filter. He was in and out in less than an hour. Certainly a great experience!

Best plumbers around!  I use them exclusively for my personal house, rentals and for business!  I have been using them for years and never wrote a review. I decided to write a review because I had a client recently quoted $1100 for a snake, camera and inspection of the drains (starting price).  When Ballard came out we got it all cleared and fixed for $375! They are always honest, do a great job and so nice!  I will always be a customer!

No star review here please read **** my grandmother was getting a new water heater put in at her home. The men who put it in incorrectly did so flooding her home. When she complained wanting them fix the flooding (which got on her carpet, which can lead to mold) they told her to put down fans, and handed her check back to her  for the water heater. After she still complained because the fans would not work because so much water damage Dennis the OWNER came to my grandmas house and told her not to file a claim. Ballard wanted to cover up what they had done and took great advantage of my grandma mother and her age thinking she would not do anything. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

I heard a noise from my A/C unit. Dennis accurately diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs at a reasonable price. I hired Ballard before for an unrelated issue ... and would gladly hire them again. Their staff including Dennis are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly!

Cost me $700 to fix my AC unit & I didn't get any description of what exactly was broken. Just replaced a filter & refilled my Freon (which he said was almost full anyways). How that justifies $700 is beyond me. At least explain why it's costing me so much. After I checked with other places, found out I was badly ripped off for something that was an easy & cheap fix.

I have been using this company for over ten years now and have had nothing but excellent service from them. They have fair prices and the workers are always kind and courteous. I have recommended them to all of my neighbors and friends.

I had a slow leak out at the main water line on my side of the meter so I contacted Ballards to fix it. They came out charged me $425. I thought that was a bit steep but paid because I needed my water turned back on! Fast forward 6mo and the same spot is now a geyser in my front yard! I called Ballards immediately and left a voicemail! Called the Water Company they came out and turned my water off yet again! I continued to call Ballards throughout the day and got no response. I called my handyman to see if he could come look at the pipe so I could get the water back on as I could t go all night without it. He came and advised that the pipe was never glued only primed and that's why it burst. He fixed it for me and got my water back on! And still no word from Ballards!!!! (This was on a Saturday) so the following day the Sunday on call guy calls me and I explained to him that I had to hire it fixed due to the lack of call from them the previous day! He said oh yeah the on call guy called off! So I called the office Monday for a supervisor and got no return call! Tuesday I get a call and I explained to the gentleman that I was not upset about the fact it came apart! I understand the technician is human and we all make mistakes but the fact that they weren't available to fix the error and expected us to go without water or pay someone else is not acceptable! And his response was yeah sorry about that!! No resolution offered at all! No offer to pay the handyman that fixed it or my water bill that I am going to have to pay for all the water that escaped down the street until the water Company came and turned it off ( there was so much water everywhere I was not able to find the shutoff valve myself) no offer to discount future services since I used them for 3 other services in the last year!!! I told him that I would be taking my business elsewhere and he acted like it didn't matter in the slightest! Very poor customer service! Very disappointing experience and I will take my business elsewhere and I will make sure if anyone asks for a plumber I will not recommend Ballards!!!

I hired Ballard again for a bad water heater. Work was excellent and price was fair. A couple days later we noticed a small gas smell. The owner of the company came out the same day and tightened down one connection to fix the small issue. This is customer service at its best! Highly recommend Ballard!

This was my first time to use Ballard Plumbing.  My experience started with a super nice woman answering the phone and making a same day appointment.  Larry arrived on time and fixed my plumbing problem promptly for a very reasonable price.  I will certainly use this company again.

Great service , with the best prices around ! I called around 11am and they scheduled me for later that evening. They literally showed up an hour 1/2 later ! Talk about quick service, they were in and out in less then 30mins for a pilot replacement on my Water heater.  I also used them earlier this year for a routine A/C maintaince. Highly recommended!!!

I had a pin hole leak in a copper pipe in the garage next to the water heater.  Rescue Rooter said they would be out in an hour.  2 1/2 hours later their guy shows up and looked at the leak and told me if I bought a Flow-tech water softener system for $2900 he would fix the pipe for free....uh no thanks I just need the pipe fixed... he went to his truck to call his headquarters -- came back and said $695. I passed on his ridiculous gouging.   I called Ballard's in Redlands.  they were out in less than an hour.  Fixed the leak in 10 minutes and charged me $135.  I asked them if a water softener would have kept the leak from happening and they said no, just a waste of $. Don't use Rescue Rooter even if they are the last resort.... I doubt the loser who showed up at my house could have even fixed the leaking pipe.

I recommend this company for servicing the pipes in my garage wall connecting my washing machines. I was so afraid it would be worse than it was. I was very comfortable with the timely service and reasonable rates as well as the customer services provided by John ( I hope I have his name right). I am a Realtor, so if I ever have a client that needs service I will recommend them first.

This team was prompt. To my house in under an hour. We're great with the diagnostics and got everything fixed.

I called Ballard because of a leak that I thought was coming from condensation. I spoke to the service dept and they were able to help me over the phone.  This impressed me and will definitely work with this company in the future.

I've used Ballard several times. I called to schedule an appointment to get a check up on my ac make sure everything is ok. The same guy who came before literary took about 3 mins checking and switching my filter. He charged me 79 dollars for that. He dont explain anything has no kind of people skills. Everytime he comes over its same thing. I think its time for me to call another company. Home depot charged me less to do an inspection and he was here way longer. Explain in detail what he checked.

A little over two weeks ago my AC was stopped working.  It was an old system and was never meant to work sufficiently in my 2000 sq ft house.  I am not one to take the heat,Yelp and went contacted Ballard Plumbing immediately.  I am familiar with the company.  I have to say first I was frightened about having to get a new system because I was quoted 13k last year by a Costco rep.  

I received an immediate response on yelp the same day and then I called early the next morning, then Dennis was at my door at 8:15 like he said he would be.  He was honest and so helpful.  The quote was way under what I received.  The best part was Dennis had his crew in just a few hours later that day. Dennis explained everything in detail and said how he will make sure my house is equally cool in every room.  

I have four dogs and my house is undergoing many renovations.  The crew showed up (I'm so sorry I forgot most of your names) and they even helped with my pups.  They all went to work inside and out.  They were thorough and accommodating.  I do remember Landon because he graciously installed my NEST for me.  Amazingly enough they were there from 11am to 3.  I was shocked and totally EXCITED!

I am glad I waited awhile before I wrote my review because I want to exclaim my utter gratefulness to all of you from Ballard Plumbing because I sat in AC coolness last Friday when it was 118 outside. :)

We have used them for air conditioning and plumbing needs for about 15 years.  They are awesome, efficient, and kind.  Today, there was actually no problem apparent when we called them out and they didn't even charge us for the service call and recommended against doing anything unnecessary and to wait rather than doing work that wouldn't help and paying money that didn't need to be paid.  I have always been impressed but was even more so by their honesty and integrity- they are a gem.

Ballard Plumbing & ACH has worked hard for me and earned my customer loyalty.   They have provided excellent service from small & large plumbing jobs to a complete residential central AC replacement.  They have always arrived timely, been very personable and professional, and extremely efficient in completing the work.  Even more impressive is their work has always been done right the FIRST time.  Today they fixed (my not-so-handiwork) in what started as a faucet replacement which turned into a local shut-off replacement and a whole house shut-off replacement.  Someday I'll learn to call them first.  They even answer all my (dumb) questions about the current work and what I would like to have done in the future.  Thank you for your service!

Our attic fan quick one night. Ballard came the next day to fix it. While the man was in our attic he notices that our duct work had some holes in it.  Upon closer inspection it was clear that most of our air when on was just floating around in the attic and going outside.  
He related this to us right away.
Ballard was over here the next day and three hours later everything was replaced new.
We realized when we went to turn our air on that there was an amazing difference in the amount of air coming in.  
It is great to have it fixed and we know our bill will be a lot better from Electric company now.

Very fast response for repairs. Affordable prices.i had Ballards come out very quickly despite calling them during a very busy season.

Paid $79 for an estimate. They said they could not fix our AC unit; and indicated that it needed to be replaced. They quoted us $12k for the replacement unit.

We called someone else: they said the unit was in perfect condition and made some minor repairs for $700.

Punch line: if we listened to Ballard we would have been out $12k for no good reason. In short, they took our $79 and lied to us. Therefore, I definitely do not recommend them.

AC on my new house was going out. Ended up needed a whole system with new ducts.  Ballard came out and gave me a fair price.  They came out literally the next day and the job was complete by the afternoon. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend Ballard.

I have had nothing but excellent service from this fine business.  Yesterday was the first 90º day.  To my surprise, the air blew, but wasn't cold.  I went to Ballard, my go to HVAC company.  Even though I called on a Sunday, they were able to service my unit today.  Their service technician, who arrived right at the expected time, had me up and running in about 25 minutes.  This is top notch service and the price is always competitive and fair.  I love these guys!

Horrible work, poor quality customer service, took advantage of my senior citizen parent. Doubt we even needed to replace entire ac unit. Dennis is a crook! Don't believe any positive reviews. The person who came out to do the work, looked like he had no experience and he left a big mess. Job was shoddily done with duck tape, scary! I will never call Ballard, don't take your chances. They are all about over charging and replacing your unit even if it doesn't need to be replaced. I regret the day we ever called them. BEWARE!!!

Ballard worked an air conditioning service for me today, angel was the technician today very professional and clean and groomed found the issue for me quickly replaced a thermostat installed it and works great. thanks Ballard I do recommend there service to all ,also thanks to angel .

I used this company today when my tenant reported that the AC was not blowing cool air and that the unit was iced over. Dennis went out to my property and promptly fixed the AC for a reasonable price. I will be happy to call him again if needed.

We have owned several rental properties for many years now and have worked with numerous plumbers. BALLARD is by far the most trust - worthy and honest. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I paid this guy $80 so he could turn my heater on and off and  say it could be your motor or it could just be dirty. And that was it . Either way I'm without heating and the temperature in my house is currently 45. I either had to pay $750 to get it cleaned or $9,000 for a whole new heater....... Cool.

Larry at Ballard Plumbing is excellent.  His work is definitely 5 star.   The company prices seem average.  But they are very professional, do good work, and don't over sell..

Called Ballard's Plumbing at 8 am on a Monday morning to schedule an appt. First time using this company. They had someone out same day before noon. Cody came out and took care of a kitchen drain problem ìn no time at all. He was courteous and friendly. Ballard is reasonably priced.  They will be our go to plumbers from here on in.

These guys have been our go-to solution for heating and air, as well as plumbing, for over 20 years. They show up, find the problem, get it fixed. Friendly and fast, their prices are reasonable, too.

If you are in a hurry, want a quote or a professional experience, don't bother with this one.
I requested them to come give us a quote last week.  Mike, the owner, promptly emailed me back asking for a phone number and told me his brother would call me first thing on Monday. Yay... One bonus point for promptness.  But then...  Ok.  I wait.  No call on Monday.  Deduct said bonus point so back to zero.  Tuesday... still no call. (Now at -1)  So Tuesday evening I email again asking if they are interested.  Now mind you, I am asking for a quote on all new ducting and relocation of current equipment with the possibility of getting all new equipment; only definitely need ducting rework.  Finally, Mike emails me back... Hmm sorry about that he must be behind, I will make sure he does tonight. (Now at a -2 as I am having to remind them and then one more point off for that not so professional reply...total of -3)

So I figure I will give them another shot since we all have our days.  The brother calls me and asks what I need. I explain (again) what I am interested in having a quote on and he says Oh, well, ummmmmm, we are super behind so ummmmm, let me check to see when we could get out there.  I need to check with Mike since he schedules  (Uh, I thought Mike had to have his brother call me since he scheduled... the negative points are racking up)... I told this guy if they are too busy for the job then let me know as I am getting other quotes.  He says Oh, you are? Ummm..  Hold on.  Let me check with Mike. Puts me on hold.  Comes back and hems and haws and says, I can't tell you when we will be able to come out so yea, maybe you should just go on to the next person for your quote.  We are just soooo behind and I don't know why or what's going on.

Wow!  Really?  Ok.  So you don't want my business and the person who emailed me does the schedule and just didn't tell me this to begin with once they already knew what I was looking to have done.  Not professional and would not recommend them as honest and straightforward.  Only use them if you have a McMansion for a huge job or you have no time frame and want to just sit out and wait...but don't hold your breath on the latter.  Good luck.  I'll pass on this one.

I am a customer, and will continue my support. First their customer services is excellent. They took a service call out of the area because it was my niece which was beyond courteous. They have done all my plumbing, heating and air needs, and I will continue to recommend them to my family and friends...you guys are the best!!!

We can't thank Ballards enough for their GREAT service and professionalism!  They came to the rescue of our dear, 86-year old friend when her A/C quit working in 100+ degree temperatures today!  They returned my call after hours, and ensured that a repair person will be at our friend's home at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow!  On a Sunday no less!!!  Who has that kind of customer service anymore??  Ballard's, that's who!!!  THE BEST heating, A/C and plumbing company in the Inland Empire!  We have been customers for over 30+ years, and will NEVER use any other A/C, heating or plumbing company!  Give them a call, you will NOT be disappointed!

Brent answered all my questions and was responsive through text and calls. After getting 3 quotes, Ballard was my pick mainly because of the professional demeanor of Brent, but also for the Carrier product they carry. The installation crew was top notch- you can tell that they knew exactly what they were doing and were in and out in just a few hours. I highly recommend Ballard.
