When I found out that I needed to replace my sewer line, I never imagined that it would be possible for me to have a good experience, much less an amazing experience. Thinking about sewers and plumbers is not exactly where you imagine top notch customer service to be. But that was the case with Advanced Trenchless. I called the different companies for estimates. Two of those companies wanted between $150-275 for the estimates alone. Advanced Trenchless offered a free estimate. Couple that with their already outstanding yelp reviews and I decided to go with them first. Ryan, who I believe it's the owner, came out and did the estimate without me having to even be home. I had a detailed estimate emailed to me that night. While it was slightly higher than I'd anticipated, it was still definitely in the ballpark from what I had heard. Still, I had questions, as did my neighbor who this job could've possibly impacted, and Ryan and his brother Jordan spent many minutes on the phone with us answering our questions. I decided to have Advanced Trenchless do this job, but unfortunately the city I live in doesn't allow them to cut in the city streets when it's raining. Obviously lately that has been a major issue. My sewer line kept backing up into my showers, and I was pleasantly surprised that when I contacted Jordan about it, he dispatched a plumber to my home to clear the lines for me so my life wasn't greatly affected. Did I mention that he did this at no additional cost because he felt it wasn't my problem that his company couldn't do the job due to the weather. Wow. The communication throughout was amazing, from Ryan and Jordan to the young ladies at the office. Not to mention how polite and professional the actual guys who performed the work were. My landscape was completely dug up and displaced in a 3x3 area, but you would never know looking at it now. Oh, and the best part, my final invoice came in $1k UNDER the estimate!! Even though it's a large investment for something that you won't ever physically see, the team at Advanced Trenchless makes you feel like your money was very well spent (the 20 year warranty doesn't hurt). Thanks to Ryan and Jordan and their teams for making a stressful situation so seamless (no pun intended).

Company did an excellent job. After getting several quotes no company even came close price wise. They also included all parts of the project and did not have extra charges or add-ons (like driveway repair where they needed to add the overflow).

Just a brief note to add to all the 5-star reviews this company has accrued to date. Whether from the point of view of professionalism, customer service, or timeliness, these folks ought to be the gold standard. Ryan came out to check out the sewer drain from a toilet in our poolhouse. In short order he found the problem, part of the cap from cleanout removal by and earlier sewer company visit had fallen into the drain and partially blocked it. After clearing the obstacle and running a videocam 160' to the main sewer in the street, no other problems were found (invading roots, etc). All of this done in under 20 minutes and no charge. Have no question about referring anyone to the Company. A quality act! Too bad there are so few of these around these days.

Advanced Trenchless replaced our 60 year old sewer lateral and did a great job. Our old system failed causing a backup in our basement. The pros at Advanced Trenchless came out and temporarily cleared the line and agreed to come out again if necessary before the scheduled sewer lateral replacement date. The project was completed on time and cleaned up the mess afterwards.

I used this plumbing service for years. I'm done. My annual drain inspection was rescheduled due to technician calling out sick. On the date I was rescheduled for service between 10-12, I received a text at 11:57 stating technician was running behind and ETA would be between 1-2 PM. At 1:54, still no technician. This is what I think of that.

Incredible company! From the lady who answered the phone and gave me a quote, the user experience of their dispatch text with gps tracking of their plumber, to Gene the plumber: they all gave the best possible customer experience possible at the best price (I called every plumber in the east bay). Gene was thorough with explaining what he was doing and what he was finding while he worked. He went above and beyond just clearing my sewer line. He showed me the status of my house's cast iron plumbing, where the sewer line goes, and the condition of the line along with the condition of all the joints. I will definitely be hiring their services again.

We just bought a new home and when I say new I mean it's 75 years old. We needed the upper lateral replaced right away so we called one company to come out and their quote was so high we decided to call Advanced Trenchless for a second opinion. They came out and gave us a quote that was $700 cheaper. They came out today to complete the work and did a great job. Even the city inspector who came out to sign off on their work told my husband that we picked a good company to work with. Very impressed with Advanced Trenchless. Showed up on time, video'ed my pipe, told be exactly what needed fixing (root intrusion on either end of a 5' section of pipe right under my front yard). Gave me an estimate on fixing it without even trying to bill me for the inspection. A few days later I decided to sign up for the service as outlined.

They showed up at 8:00am sharp on repair day, and had it done and looking great by the end of the day. Even did their best to restore the rock layer on top and replaced the ornamental stones that had been moved to access the pipe. Great job. guys.

This is the second time I have used Advanced Trenchless to replace my sewer lateral line. The first was on our rental house and now the time had come to replace the line at our primary residence. I cannot speak highly enough of Advanced Trenchless. They are very professional organization from the initial phone call to set up a video inspection, scheduling the replacement to the actual work being done. Both times the crews were a polite, hard working group who got the job done in a day. Advanced Trenchless is my new go to plumbing company. From the initial contact with their office (Leah & Jeremy) to the service personnel (Todd & Gene), the sense of no-nonsense honest to goodness customer satisfaction and communication via text, e-mail throughout the job is second to none.
I always feel reassured when I contact them with plumbing issues, especially with not having to worry about price gouging or upselling.
Case in point. The company has a one year guarantee that I utilized when a broken pipe they initially located with a snake camera and repaired under my dining room floor they jackhammer through 9 of concrete, somehow started leaking through the concrete 4 months later. I e-mailed Leah, and she had Todd come out first thing to inspect and setup appointment to redo work.
Kudos to Advanced Trenchless for their commitment to standing behind there work.

We'd been having chronic issues with our main line in our 1950-built house and knew it was time for a more permanent solution. We had been calling out various rooter services over the past several years, putting off the inevitable main line replacement.

After researching other Yelp reviews, we settled on the local professionals, Advanced Trenchless, and their pipe burst method as opposed to a labor-intensive trench digging process. The owner was quick to come out, do a thorough inspection, explain their technology, and then provide us a detailed estimate. There were no high-pressure sales tactics or dire predictions if we did not commit early. Just an honest, straightforward estimate. We had no hesitations about moving forward. We wound up waiting over two months to commit, as the COVID-19 pandemic hit soon after we requested the estimate. There were no questions asked and the original estimate was honored.

Once we committed, scheduling was fast (again, coming out of the most strict of the COVID-19 restrictions). Advanced Trenchless took care of the necessary permits, explained exactly where they were going to dig, and assured us the work would likely even be completed within a day.

True to their word, even upon discovering that additional work would be necessary as a result of prior work that had been done in the 1980s which necessitated digging a trench for an additional line coming from the house and replacing a piece of concrete walkway, they completed the entire job in one day. It even started raining rather heavily later in the day and they were fully prepared. It was truly an impressive operation, particularly considering the heavy demolition and repair work necessary to our street (where the main line connects to the city system).

Some (not uncommon) incidental damage to our sprinkler system was repaired following the completion of work. Our plumbing system is working flawlessly and we're no longer stressed about having guests over for fear of an embarrassing backup. This is not an inexpensive job, but for us was worth the investment over the next several decades.

We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this locally owned company for any main line replacement. It was apparent to us that they take great pride in their work and have earned the rave reviews.

These guys are amazing, competent and honest. We had one plumber tell us we had multiple offsets and needed to pull a new sewer line. Scott came out, put a camera down the line and found that we did not need to replace the line. He came out did all that as part of the free estimate. His estimate was $0. How often do have a pro come out and tell you that you really do not need to do the work.

He knew all the codes and requirements for our area. Showed up on time and was smart and courteous. They certainly earned a customer here. I will hire these guys in a heartbeat for any plumbing work they will do.

I just had the most amazing experience with Artie from Advanced Trenches. First off he called me from his last appt to provide me a eta which no company seems able to to. Upon his arrival he was patient and understanding as I explained the issue and what steps I took to try and resolve the issue. He thanked me for the information and assured me he was their to fix whatever was causing the problem so I could get back to my day and true to his word the first action he took fixed the issue. Artie also provided additional helpful information that would help prevent future problems. Based on this experience and in particular my interaction with Artie I will always call Advanced Trenchless going forward and I recommend you do to.

I highly recommend Advanced Trenchless. Todd and his crew quickly identified the pipe leak, helped me arrange for a company to come in to do the waste cleanup and then repaired the pipe very efficiently. OMG. TLDR - worth the wait. They are HONEST and focus on the solution rather than how much they can squeeze from a job.

Let me tell you, I had a plumber out for a backup issue. He strongly recommended me to Mahoney for a COMPLETE sewer line replacement! I met with Mahoney, CD Plumbing, Gomez Home, Hubeymar, called EVERY plumber I could find on yelp and everyone was very quick to sell me on the line replacement.

Advanced Trenchless is the only company that verified if I even needed a line replacement.

Get this, apparently the initial plumber cleared my line and I DON'T need the line replaced!

Advanced Trenchless sent a camera, explained why I got a backup and explained what type of system I have. They recommended that I have the line cleared once a year and I shouldn't have an issue. They even provided alternate, less costly options if I really wanted to replace the line but stressed that it would not solve my REAL issue.. I'm shocked!

I'm so appreciative. I even called to OFFER MONEY for their tech's time and use of the camera. Guess what, I couldn't convince them to get paid for coming out. No, our free estimates are free.

The tech educated me, didn't treat me like a brainless madam in distress, was polite, quick, and honest.
Please give them your money if you have an issue because I couldn't... lol.

Finally got my sewer done, my old pipe had a off set in it from when we bought our Martinez house in 99. Sewer main replacement and road work on our street last year took out the pipe the rest of the way. Could not clean out past the off set my plumber said

On Friday, Gene from Advanced Trenchless cleared tree roots from our sewer line. We have lived in our home for thirty-one years and have never had any sewer problems. Last month our neighbor had a sewer backup that backed up into their house. They had to replace drywall and carpet which cost over $30,000. The problem was tree roots. We thought this was a warning that maybe our sewer was clogged with roots too.
We set up an appointment with Advance Trenchless. They were wonderful. They notified us when Gene was on his way to our house and even sent us his picture so we would know who was coming to our door. He showed us, with their camera system, that our sewer also had a root ball. It was only a matter of time before we had the same problem as our neighbor. He cleared the root ball from our line and even installed a backflow device. If our sewer backs up, the backflow device will pop and we will know there is a problem before any damage is done in the house.

Wonderful people and company to work with!
I called these folks due to a blocked line that wouldn't allow my toilet to flush and they were quick, reliable, efficient, and fair priced.
Michael came to my home with a trainee and while they worked they kept my Mother, who was on sight, aware of the problem and how they intended to fix it. They were in and out within an hour and a half and we couldn't be happier!
Advanced Trenchless provided us with a two hour time frame which was appreciative as well as sending an email and text reminder of the appointment the day of and the day before. The day of I also received a text with the name and photo of the specialist who would be coming out, extremely appreciative!
Overall, we are happy with the service we received and would recommend them.

Our house has had Maine sewer line problems for years! Knowing that it isn't a simple, or cheap problem to fix, we put it of for a good long while! When there's multiple backups in just 1 weeks time, we knew that it was time! We called 7 different companies out for quotes, and Lord were they all different. Every company had varying degrees of pricing, as well as varying degrees of expertise. What we found was, company's that did Trenchless Only, had the best price, as well as the most knowledge. We decided to go with Advanced Trenchless because of our interaction with Michael. The questions he answered, the confidence he spoke with, as well as the things he did while he was inspecting our issues, was above and beyond what the competition had to offer. None of the 7 companies that came out inspect our sewer line as well as the cities portion. Not one of the other companies explained, or justified their price when asked. Every company asked for money up front, quoted a 3 day job, but Advanced not only asked for zero deposit, they also quoted a 1 day job! They started at 8am and was cleaning our property spotless by 1:30pm. It looks as if there was no work completed. Advanced Trenchless, Thank you all for your help!

We needed a trenchless replacement from our house to the street. Advanced Trechless came with very hi-tech equipment and looked very professional. They said that the city wouldn't let me only replace and test one section, and gave me a quote for replacing the entire lateral (4 times the price I paid in the end for the part I wanted). I checked with the City of Berkeley and they said they would approve just a section (if I wasn't selling the house). I asked Advanced Trenchless for a quote for just the part from the house to the street. I got another quote, still including items I didn't need and twice what I paid in the end for a very competent job that was signed off right away.
Look carefully at the items on their quote and make sure you actually need them.

HONEST!!! Michael and his son came to our house in Walnut Creek to give us a second opinion regarding a blocked sewage pipe. The roto-rooter man that first came out thought that there was some kind of structural problem with the sewer and suggested that we get a 3 inch pipe replaced under our house. Michael and his son came out and gave us a free video examination and found no problems. He and his son were very professional and honest and let us know that there was no structural problems. We had the roto-rooter guy come back out and use progressively larger cutters to completely clean out the sewer pipe. We're also following Michael's suggestion for the kids to use less toilet paper.
Thank you Advanced Trenchless, you are on the top of our list if we ever have any plumbing problems.

We live in the Oakland Hills (actually in a valley - 20 feet below street level) in a house that was built in the early 1950s. In other words, we have (had) lots of roots invading the connections between the clay sewer lateral pipes that ran from our house to the main city sewer line 20 feet below the street that runs just in front of our house.

After several years of borrowing the sewer snake from the Oakland library and becoming pretty adept at snaking the lateral from my house to the street, the roots finally won out. So I had a number of companies video inspect the line and provide quotes for replacing my sewer lateral trenchlessly. (This was the best option given than my house is 20 feet below the street level and about 75 back from the street.
If we had to dig a trench to replace the lateral it would have cost more than twice as much as it did.)

Ryan and his AT crew were great: on time, efficient, got the job done on time and at the price quoted, and cleaned up everything very well. I now have a new lateral that passed muster with the city and EBMUD. It has a 20 year certification and so if/when we sell the house that's already taken care of. The AT crew ran into a wrinkle in digging the 20' pit to get my lateral connected to the city main - because PGE did not detect a gas line. This set AT back slightly, but their may Jason was unruffled, and just approached the connection from the other side. Got the job done on time.

I interviewed over 6 companies, AT was the most reasonable and did a great, professional, quick job. It is also nice that Ryan who is the CEO does the estimate and
checks on the job personally when it's in process.

I and my knees will miss snaking the sewer on saturdays (and unexpected late nights) though.

Well, Holy Smokes! Hands down to Advanced Trenchless for providing phenomenal professional customer service! The process was quick, simple, and painless.

I recently got a sewer inspection and was referred to Advanced Trenchless by my Realtor, Amber N. Amber had informed me that she had some great businesses' that does great inspections; so, I trusted what she said and went with her recommendations. I am SO happy I did, as I couldn't be anymore happier about the work of what they did. Once I did some research and seen that this company had to rave 5 stars, I couldn't help but move forward and schedule an appointment. A few weeks before the appointment, I received an email from the Admin Assistant, Cris Torrance. Cris provided me a payment form to fill out and send back. They hold payment on your card until the work is complete and then charge the card once the work is complete and you have been satisfied.

Wednesday was my meeting and they provided me with a two-hour timeframe from 12 PM-2 PM. In addition, they also provided consistent emails and text message reminders. A couple of meetings before 12 PM, I received a text message that informed me that the technician was on their way and shared a picture of the tech; WOWZERS! What a whole new level of customer service. The benefit of that was I knew exactly who was going to show up and they arrived.

I had the pleasure of having Cameron H. as my technician. Cameron came and did a full inspection of the property. He was extremely thorough and professional. I showed him the one way clean out and Cameron spent literally 15-20 minutes to work his magic. I was able to ask various what-if questions and although they were silly questions, Cameron didn't make me feel awkward in asking them. He gave honest reviews of the house and provided me a copy of the inspection. The whole process was a breeze.

This company will be my first choice if I ever had problems with my sewer! Thank you, Advanced Trenchless.

I was referred to AT by a local plumber. They figured out the problem, offered a couple of solutions, rearranged their schedule to get my project done sooner and did a fantastatic repair of the sewer line. The problem was a little more complicated than they anticipated, but they did the additional work and didn't charge me a penny more. I got several estimates for the repair and their pricing was very fair. I highly recommend them.

Hands down the only company I trust for inspections and bids for SL. They will be the first to tell you if the line is fine or needs partial/full replacement. Have never had a problem with the company. They show up when scheduled, often early. Tip for anyone using their services or any other company: locate the sewer cleanout before they show up. It saves everyone time and frustration.

Advanced Trenchless performed our private sewer lateral replacement and did an amazing job. We have a beautiful, mature garden that was not disturbed at all. They had to remove a ton of dirt in one section and were very careful to lay down tarps in advance and keep the site clean.

They were courteous to us and our neighbors, whether it was being timely, completing jackhammer work quickly, moving their vehicles or otherwise just being friendly.

We obtained 4 bids and Advanced Trenchless were very competitive. They were not the cheapest we chose them because of their incredibly thorough and detailed inspection report (by Gene).

They scored bonus points by finding an additional connection AND by finding our neighbors sewer line that was only 10 inches away. That's important because pipe bursting near another line requires additional care.

I wish I had the names of all the guys who did the replacement because they deserve a special callout too.

Everything was done in the same day. Excavation, replacement, testing, EBMUD inspection and backfill.

I can't recommend Advanced Trenchless highly enough!

I found out that they actively manage customer reviews by reaching out to what is perceived as unfavorable reviews. Maybe that is why their review rating more favorable than they should be? - 1 star to counter this effect.

They pointed out that they would not force the work upon the customers when they are on site and the on site quote is free. OK fine. I am sure also understand that the tenancy is that they would get the job when they are there already even though the price is higher. That may be a sound business practice, but something customers should keep in mind. So just be aware.

They also pointed out that not having the opportunity to be on site yielded a higher quote. Sounds reasonable. However, the job was very straightforward, simple, and clearly defined with photos of the work to be done. How complicate can replacing a kitchen faucet be in a track home? It is not a historical building with non standard plumbing nor a fancy home like the billionaires have. Maybe it is not the same as being onsite, but for small jobs, I can't really see what else they can glean out of being physically there.

To their point though, they quoted a range of up to 4 hours for the job. So theoretically, they could get it done in one hour and is therefore on par with other quotes. OK. Maybe they are honest and they are just sandbagging? +1 star to give them benefit of doubt.

You know what? The world is going the sh*ts. Let's be nice to each other. +1 star.

They are not set up for small jobs. Cost prohibitive!
No wonder why they are so reluctant to provide quote but try to just go on site and do the work.

Advanced Trenchless was recommended to me by my plumber as my lateral sewer line was cloggimg every few months due to root intrusion. They came out and did an inspection of the line at no cost and confirmed that the roots were the problem and that I could continue to have it cleared every few months or have the lateral replaced. No pressure at all to replace the line. The uncertainty of when the sewer line would back up was not something I could live with, so I chose to have the line replaced. Advanced Trenchless was so professional about the whole job. They were careful around my plants and restored what had to be moved to original locations. Highly recommend.

From my initial phone call to the spotless condition of my yard and guest room, I couldn't be more satisfied with this company! We had sewer line that collapsed due to a large tree root growing around it. This caused (yuk!) a sewer backup. The line is under a cement slab floor. This company is so professional! They returned phone calls and/or texts (even on the weekends). I took a chance with them based on Yelp reviews and am so glad I did. After giving me an estimate they came and completed an upper lateral. They needed to dig their trench hole into my driveway which was stained blue. They tried to match the color when repainting the new concrete but it didn't quite match. So, they painted the whole driveway! This company was so amazing that they even sent one of their men to go to Home Depot to help me choose the correct paint. Highly recommend this company. This company is amazing! The BEST customer service all around from the initial contact to camera my line, to the office staff, to the scheduler and the guys who did the work. They did a great job on replacing my sewer and then patching the concrete they had to cut through to get to my pipe (it looks better than new!) And they were communicative throughout the process. These guys are fantastic. Extremely well organized, responsive, and diligent. They have what appears to be the latest technology. They installed a new sewer later for me, and it's basically impossible to even tell they were there. And I just got a call from them telling me they accidentally over-charged for the permit fee since I'm technically in a different city than their initial records show; so they're refunding several hundred dollars. That's how you run a great small business. Would use them again any time.

These guys are awesome! I really did my research, emailing my neighborhood d-list and reseaching online reviews. I received 4 recommendations for AT and random recommendations for others. Even though I had my mind set on a trenchless pipe replacement, they also provided me cheaper alternatives. They were upfront w/ the estimate, stating that a street side fitting, if cracked, could add another $500 to the estimate. I figured mine would surely be cracked, it wasn't, and they did not charge me. They also handled all of the permits and even emailed me the permits when the work was completed. Ryan's crew was prompt, thorough and left the premises cleaner than when they started. I feel completely confident in recommending AT to anyone considering a trenchless sewer main replacement!

I highly recommend Advanced Trenchless. My regular plumber came out do my annual root cleaning out and discovered there was a break in the connection to the street. A neighbor recommended Advanced Trenchless and the estimator met me at the property the next day. The estimate was almost half of what my regular plumber was going to charge me. They scheduled the job within about 10 days. Here is what my tenant had to say Advanced did a good job yesterday and got the new sewer all buttoned up. They had to remove the calla lilies, and tree from the side of the house, but replaced them when they were done.

This worst company. Do not believe in their estimate. They give you a low estimate, and you finish to pay $2000 more. I tell you this in my own experience , and that happened to somebody else who I know. They finished my job and more then one month, and after that they didn't sent the fibal job to waste water until I report them and waste water call them. Waste water tall them then they have to sent the papers to them right away they have finished the job. Finaly I wait almost two month to get waste water certicate. I recomend highly country coneccion from el sobrante. I regretted not have acept their job, after the hard time I pass with this people.

- My dad was calling all sewer repair companies from the Bay Area to Sacramento and he saw reviews on Yelp for Advanced Trenchless (5 stars across the board)

- This company made the process seamless....... Provided the quote, Fix the Sewer Line to be up to code ($3,800 WORTH IT), worked with the City for approval and sign off (customer has no interaction with the City), staff communicated with the customer status (approved, repatch the grass lawn, and what to expect) & lastly city provided us (customer) via mail the hard copy of the sign off...ALL in 1 DAY

We needed a 75 foot sewer line replaced from our house to the main. The estimator came out and gave us a quote which seemed great. I called a couple other companies to get quotes, but never heard back. I spoke to a friend who is a plumber and said it was a solid price, so I pulled the trigger.

We could not have been happier with the crew, work, and company. The crew showed up and were very respectful of our space. They communicated very well and gave us a heads up before they were going to cut the line in case we needed any last minute runs to the restroom. They also did their work in a way that gave the least amount of downtime for the sewer.

Over all, we're thrilled with their work and I'm so happy we don't have to worry about our sewer line for a long time.

Bought a house built in 1948 that came with a sewer lateral that was just as old.

After 9 months of clogged drains, calls to the home warranty company, (which was definitely a waste of time and money), and to my own plumber, I knew its time was definitely up.

Advanced Trenchless was recommended to me by my trusted plumber. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional, thorough, reasonably priced, and fast they were.

I scoped out several local companies and none compared. Especially compelling was the free scoping and on-site estimate. Pricing came out to be about $2,000 leas than I expected, and I've had no problems in the 4 months since.

They took care of everything including permits, asphalt replacement, inspections, everything. All the work was done in one day.

Great job. I've already recommended these guys to my neighbors. They had the same work done with Advanced Trenchless last month and are very happy. Another good friend is planning to use them soon as well.

Yesterday Advanced Trenchless finished a two day job putting new sewer pipes in from our house to the main line. We had the original clay pipes which had many blockages because of roots and cracks.

I got bids from three vendors and they were the highest, but not by too much. I picked them because of the thoroughness of their analysis and attention to detail. The job they did was very thorough and professional I told them when they left that no one could tell that they had been there, it looked so good.

Jacob and his team did an AWESOME job at our house! They were fast, efficient, and did a superb job of cleaning up. They had to dig through our brickwork to get to the problem. Not only did they pinpoint and get to the root of the problem, but they did it with such care that nothing on our house (even the large window just a foot away from where they had dig through) got damaged! Our new cleanout looks wonderful, the brickwork looks great and I have both my other toilets now fully useable. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a sewer line issue. They made it easy to go with their estimate, because it truly addressed the problem--it wasn't just an exploratory type estimate that was open-ended. Love it!

After read a lot of reviews we decided to work with Advanced Trenchless. We were so fortunate to have them complete our job.
First when I called their customer service Jennifer quickly answered my phone and scheduled a free camera's check up sewer on the second date. Then Michael went to our house and gave us an quote at same day. I signed the contract right away because they explained me the sewer 's problem in very professional way and told me they have 20-year warranty for their job.
Before to start the repair Ryan went to our house to unclog sewer and maintain sewer as they promised on the phone so we can still use bathroom until their repairing done. Jordan scheduled the repairing date for us as early as he can and completed the job less in one day. I found Advanced Trenchless through Yelp... When they came out to the the bid, they were professional, friendly and thorough. They were able to schedule the replacement of the lateral, make sure I got through the rebate application correctly, and did a fantastic job on the replacement. You can't event tell they were here :). And to top it off, their pricing was fantastic and fair...two other bids I got were atrociously high, and one company is not even recognized as a Lateral replacement company by the district!

I would highly recommend this company to anybody wanting work done right the first time!

Advanced Trenchless is the BEST if you need to replace your sewer line. Our lateral was 70 years old (1952) and the clay pipes began to fail. We received a free camera inspection and written estimate and gave the go ahead. We have seen AT do other jobs in the area and were impressed with their work. All permits and street utility markings were handled by AT. The crew arrived promptly and set up their equipment. They worked non-stop, cutting and excavating the street, and the cleanout by our home. Then the long sections of pipe were welded and pulled thru bursting the old pipe. What an enjoyable process to watch - the crew was expert! The entire job was done well under one day. Our landscaping was left as it was, and the street repair was very nice and smooth. The cost for the job was a surprise, much lower that I had expected, and almost a fraction of what other companies quoted. You cannot go wrong using Advanced Trenchless. My only complaint is that I'll never see this friendly crew again as the pipe will last 100 years!!

This is a really great company. One of our sewer laterals had a tree root intrusion. They sent a very kind and knowledgeable young man to our house soon after we called. He determined that we did not need any work because we rarely use the part of our house served by that sewer lateral.

This company will not encourage you to do work unless you actually need it. They are trustworthy and pleasant. I highly recommend.

Great company to work with. Gene Wall came out and did a through inspection for a sewer lateral compliance on our new home in El Cerrito. A different team came out and installed the pipes, dug the trenches, etc. they were in and out in a day. They were awesome!

Communication with the front desk was a breeze too, Leah was super helpful and quick to respond. They weren't the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. I found their pricing to be reasonable. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

I have to give Advanced Trenchless 5 stars even though technically I haven't paid for their services (hang on, Yelp QC, I swear this is legit). I made an appointment for a free quote on having a sewer lateral replaced in Kentfield, not wholly sure if the lateral actually needed to be replaced (it seemed that previous owners may have done so, but there was no record of a pressure test). Advanced Trenchless was able to come in immediately, and Ryan (the technician) was great about calling me on his way to the appointment. Here's the best part, though: Ryan was able to tell that the lateral had been replaced, and he even went the extra step of calling the Ross Valley Sanitary District to ascertain that we were all good. So yes, I didn't pay anything, but I saved a lot thanks to his diligence and honesty. You can bet I will call Advanced Trenchless for any future plumbing/lateral needs.

We called this company after another company had spent 3 days trying to unplug our very long sewer line. We were looking at spending 18K because they thought we had a broken line about 16 feet deep. I don't blame the other company because years ago we had another company tell us that it was going to break. They came out to give us an estimate on the job because the other company was going to have to get OSHA approved, so they recommended calling Advanced Trenchless. The short story is they put the camera down and boom our problems were over. The company that put in our sewer line had put a pee trap 16 - 18 feet down, no one can explain why that was done but that has been the issue all these years. They cleaned out our line and charge us nothing because they came out to give us an estimate and because they needed the camera to give us a good estimate they inadvertently cleared the line. We were more than willing to pay for their services but they said no. Even if they charged we would be writing letting everyone know what professional team they are.

The only HONEST company I've ever dealt with. My wife and i bought our first home and knew it had sewer issues (from the disclosure) so we Called several big companies for estimates and since we look minor they always pump up their estimates and was once told it needed an emergency sewer replacement. But luckily i found and called Advanced Trenchless and everyone was really helpful and honest, they came out the next day looked at our sewer line, run a camera was informed that it had another 4-5 years before it needed to be replaced And They gave me the estimate that was almost half of what the other big company had to offer. I'm writing this review to complement the staff with Advanced Trenchless in Vallejo CA. From our first call to Advanced things went well. Phone calls were answered quickly, they were attentive, the estimator was on time, our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly, scheduling went well, our start day was never pushed back, and the work was completed quickly under difficult circumstances.

In particular, the crew who physically executed our work was noteworthy, and an exceptional group of young men. Our lateral replacement was an open trench job with several landscape issues I was concerned about. A brick sidewalk, dry stack retaining wall, concrete path, and sprinkler lines all had to be dealt with, not to mention very limited crawl space conditions under the house, and my continuous oversight :) Some of our soil was completely water saturated while some was sandstone. In general it was a tough lateral replacement. Randy, Luis, and Isidro clearly had much experience. They worked quickly and efficiently together; always seeming to know what to do next without a lot of discussion. While I think Richard and Jose were relatively new to the crew, they were always motivated and hard working. Everyone took great care to protect our landscape, and I'm more than satisfied with the limited impact such a large job had on our yard. The crew was always dressed appropriately, didn't play loud music or use their cell phones excessively, and never used strong language. That might seem like a small thing to some, but for me it's the mark of a professional. Start to finish took only two days, including street and lawn repairs.

Ryan Charles the owner returned my call for an estimate the next business day and came out the following day to view and scope the upper and lower lateral. The next week they set a date and showed up on time to begin the job. My goodness they did a fantastic job which included the lower lateral that Vallejo San and Flood had also approved for replacement at the District expense. They truly left our property in better condition than when they arrived. The crew took extreme care in cleaning up their work area and really appropriate time was spent sponging the concrete work as well. I plan on applying for reimbursement from Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District on another property shortly and will only call Advanced Trenchless.

I just got my estimate about two weeks ago. I needed the work done asap because of a medical condition, and having to clean out the line almost every week. One week later, last Friday, Sept 15, they came at 7:30 am and by 6:30pm they were done. They came prepared with a whole crew, worked hard and made sure the project was done by the end of the day. They were very accommodating. They seem to have a good working relationship with the Vallejo District. The District just came by and approved the project. Very pleased with their work and the price was great compared to the amount of work they had to accomplish.

Just a reminder, get your project approved first with the Vallejo Sanitation District, if you live in Vallejo, and then hire Advanced Trenchless for a great job. The front office staff was also great to work with, great company.

I was told by another company that my sewer line needed to be replaced. I have multiple properties and have used the other company before and generally trusted them. I decided to get a second opinion and had Advanced Trenchless take a look and provide a competing estimate. They were prompt, sent a picture of the tech, let me know when the tech was on the way and they showed up on time. The awesomeness of this company was revealed when the tech said that I do not need a new sewer line. He said it actually looks pretty good and that replacing the line would be a waste of my money. If I could give TEN stars i would! Oh, yeah and when asked how much the camera inspection was he said No Charge. Next time I hear of someone needing this service they are my new go to provider.

I contacted them to get help in resolving a problem with the sewer. The initial inspection involved looking for the clean-out. The tech spend a great deal of time trying to locate it, finally after crawling under the house he determined that we didn't have one. He was very patient and thorough. They put in the clean-out and checked the line out to the main with a camera. Their recommendation that no replacement was necessary. Good news and great honesty from a company. With Ryan and Jordan on the job, there were no worries. They were able to change their schedule for our tap and connect, showed up on time, knew the City and County requirments as well as the inspectors and they left the road in great shape. I have never given any service a 5 star rating, ever.

But this company deserves it.

I had my sewer line back up twice in two weeks. Rescue Rooter came out both times.
First time they used traditional snake and could not clear it. They came back a second time
with a Jetter high power water hose.(1,100.00)They said it cleared the line. Well guess what?

Two days before Thanksgiving it stopped up again. I demanded warranty repair. They came out the day before Thanksgiving, with the Jetter. They could not clear the line. They put a camera down the line and at 130ft said they saw the terra cotta pipe had collapsed. They wrote up an estimate for digging it up and installing plastic pipe. $18,600.00. Wow!
Contacted Advanced Trenchless aka sewerinspection.com via email. Ryan company president replied immediately and called me. He said he would send tech out with 150ft snake and camera.

Cameron the tech came out promptly on time. (unlike RR who were always late or couldn't come till next day) He ran out 130 ft of snake and hit blockage. He put camera down the line, saw what he thoungt was a root ball. He ran snake again very skillfully backing it up and trying again and again until he cleared all 150ft of line. Ran camera down a second time all the way to the main CCSD line. Total bill $310.00

Ryan is going to get me an estimate to pull plastic pipe through the whole line. Cameron said I don't need to do this immediately but can budget for it and do it anytime next year.
Definitely going to go for the plastic pipe since as it seems we clean this line out every couple of years.

These people do great work. Our sewer line was crumbling, and they were able to get out within a couple weeks. The process was so painless - our plumbing was only down for about 3-4 hours. Highly recommend these people. Not the cheapest but they will do the job right. They cake care of all the permits and inspections needed with the city.

Advanced Trenchless (AT) is efficient and professional. We had to replace the sewer lateral on a recently purchased home and also deal with an old abandoned septic tank. AT handled all the permits (2 from the county and 1 from the city) and they had a crew on site within a week. We were happy that the trenchless process meant that our lawn and garden were not disturbed. The foreman Gil did a great job keeping us updated on progress.

I got two bids for this job, and the AT bid was significantly below the other company's. The final bill matched the bid exactly. AT also provides a 20 year warranty on materials and workmanship.

They made a large and complex project as painless as possible for the homeowner and we appreciate it!!

Put my property back the way it was, no one had an idea 80 feet of pipe was run out to the street to redirect my sewer line. They were in an out in 5 days. These guys were awesome. Delightful, on-time, professional - they managed to trench up the backyard, moving plants and a tree, and REPLACE EVERYTHING AS IF THEY HAD NEVER BEEN THERE.

We now tell stories about the sewer lateral replacement as if it was the plot of a Michael Bay film: And THEN? They had this thing that looked like a bullet that they pulled through hydraulically and it had FINS on it that busted out the existing pipe, and you could feel this WOOMF. WOOMF. WOOMF. underground.

When I suspected some problems with our sewer lateral, Advanced Trenchless (AT) was one of 3 companies I requested an estimate from (based from a neighborhood recommendation). Of the 3, AT had the most organized communication method (text and emails, complete with pictures of their technicians) and the most thorough estimate. Vince V, who gave the estimate, gave clear explanations and cost estimates for different problem scenarios. Chris R., who did the sewer maintenance work, was efficient. I'm happy that the problem turned out to be a small one, but also feel that AT did an excellent job evaluating it and outlining next steps so that there were no surprises.

Had a decade-long relationship with a well known, reputable plumbing company I won't mention here. Thought they were great. Trusted them. Called them every single time there were issues, which was not infrequently in this older house. Paid them to do routine maintenance in January of this year, which included (they say) cutting roots which are definitely an issue in my pipes. I don't blame the plumber for the fact that roots love the pipes. But the toilets overflowed again in February, and again in April, and again this week. I made an appointment with Advanced Trenchless, knowing that they have cameras and could tell me, once and for all, what's going on. Arthur Pacheco came out and immediately set me at ease with his friendly, intelligent manner. He told me what he was going to do, approximately how long it would take, and got to work. First he cleared the pipes with a camera so that he could put the camera through and take a look at what was going on. Then he showed us on a monitor how the pipes directly under the house are clay and infiltrated with roots. The roots have been growing for at least a year, possibly longer, which coincides with when my serious plumbing issues began. In other words, my plumber has been charging for work that was not done, times at least two years. Arthur explained that the expensive, long fix solution would be to replace the clay pipe by taking up the floor and cutting into the concrete slab. Eventually I will do that. But the short-term fix (which my old plumber should have been doing all along) is to cut out the roots with a 300 3 blade and follow up with root-ex (which my plumber also never applied -- until yesterday, when confronted with the video results.) So many companies would have urged me to pay the money up front for the long term fix, but Arthur said it was just as reasonable for the time being to cut roots and follow up with root-ex. That could buy me another 5 years. I'm now a customer of Trenchless. I regret that this very positive review is intertwined with a comparison to another company, but it is probably not uncommon that Advanced Trenchless is called because someone is feeling distrustful of their regular plumber. I have to say that Arthur Pacheco handled the situation beautifully, neither defending the past work nor trying to condemn it.

The other 'side' of their company did my home inspection, so when we closed, I called them up to take care of a root problem the inspection had turned up. They were out the next day to take care of it. The tech called me to let me know when he was on his way, and the office sent me a prompt invoice via e-mail. We have had issues with our sewer line from the house to the street since we moved in 13 years ago. Usually every 8 months I would have to have it snaked to clear out tree roots and blockage. We finally decided to replace the clay pipes and had another person come quote and we said we wanted to have it done. Phone calls, voice messages, they never called back. Then we heard about Advanced Trenchless and gave them a call. Immediate come out to determine the cost, quoted it and we said lets do it. They got us on the calendar, came out promptly on the day of repair, very thorough job and cleaned up perfectly. Why can't ALL contractors be like Advanced Trenchless! Advanced Trenchless is REALLY GOOD. They are at this very moment replacing a very old wafer-thin cast iron sewer line from my house to the main sewer line in my cul de sac here in Point Richmond. I have been watching them out the window of my home office (while I work) for a few days. I don't know jack about construction, but they are very very very meticulous about measurements, cleanliness, aesthetics of the final product, as well as the safety of their own workers. Plus a bunch of nice guys who take the quality of their work very seriously and have an obviously good attitude. Randy (I believe) is the name of their on-site supervisor. He was very patient in showing me how bad the cast-iron pipes were that had to be removed and explaining the process to me. Randy resembles a much smaller version of 49ers tight end George Kittle. He had to GOOGLE George Kittle when I told him that, but I will not hold that against him!!! A very good company and I highly recommend them!

When you need a job done, just hire these guys.

I have been dealing with plumbing issues since late March. I haven't had access to my yard since May (it's now almost Aug). My landlord hired a hack general contractor to try and fix the broken pipe leading to the sewer underneath the road. He supposedly tried to get permitting to finish the job, only after he dug up my yard trying to get to the pipe.

Finally, he hired Advanced Trenchless. Within a few days they had the proper permits and began working. The crew was friendly and kept me in the loop every step of the way. They were awesome with my 3 dogs and never put any undue stress on myself, finance and pups. In just a couple days of work, they are now done and I am just disappointed I wasn't able to get them hired sooner.

Well done you guys. Wish I could give 7 stars.

I was in need of plumbing service to relocate my utility sink; it was in a bad spot, obstructing everything in the garage. I sought several quotes, however, they all seemed quite high and many of them were unable to provide a clear answer as to how long it would take to complete the job. They were basically playing with my time and stringing me along. I dislike the bs.

I got a call from Advanced Trenchless on Yelp. They were one of several who reached out directly, and they were not even on my list of plumbers to call. The admin booked a appt. The plumber they sent, Jared, showed up on time, and he was a straight shooter. Again, no bs. He told me what's up, and how long the job will actually take.

The reason for my 5 star: 1) no bs; 2) he was very friendly; 3) knowledgeable; 4) he showed me everything about my own house as in where the shut off valves are, the hot water tank, how to identify problems and leaks, and the crawl space; 5) he got it done in a couple hrs. The job was not easy, but he sure made it look easy to relocate my utility sink, and replaced damaged garden water valves.

I recommend them. Jared - thanks for your help. Appreciate it. You went well beyond what was expected. If I have problems, I'm calling them.

I didn't know that almost all the plumbing technicians work on a commission. It's why they find so many problems when they come out. Advanced Trenchless does not operate like that. They've been so helpful in teaching us how to manage our older homes problems while going beyond what they charge. These guys are fantastic. They are just picking up the last of their equipment. They came yesterday at 9am, and the job is finished the next day at noon, all equipment gone and signed off. I day! and we had all water appliances (including toilets) by 4:30 yesterday, the day they started. My next door neighbor had the same work last fall and it took their contractor 3 days without water!!!
I am so leary of any contractors because my experience has been, before this firm, 85% ugly.
Advanced Trenchless is truly tops. I hope this praise doesn't sound like I've been paid - I haven't. I am just so elated that an important construction project finally went well. I don't see how you could go wrong with them. They were so professional.

After having Roto Rooter come out 2x a year for 7 years our sewer line couldn't be repaired. I got 4 quotes. 2 were so unprofessional it was a joke. Ryan was the only one that offered a free camera inspection with very high tech equipment, but mainly gave me the sense of honesty & professionalism that I trusted. He explained everything from permits to tying into the street and had a quote emailed to me within the hour. They took care of everything. The job was to be a pretty easy one day get in get out but there were complications with a water main and our neighbors Y so they replaced the neighbors Y and 4 feet of line at no cost to him or us! They were here from 7:30am till 7:30pm to make sure we were up and running. They came back the next day and patched the road (better than the city had done previously) and poured concrete back in our walkway that had they had to remove to tie into the garage. It was on the back side of the house so there was no landscape of any kind except for weeds but they put down soil and grass seed where they had to dig out! Crazy but true. The crew was really fabulous/curtious and professional. They have a great working relationship with the City inspector (who is on site for quite a bit of the work) and he had nothing but great things to say about Advanced Trenchless. Even with the job taking much longer than expected because of the problems with tying into the street they charged us exactly what was quoted. The crew worked really really hard and after being here 12 hours they were still really polite. Don't bother calling anybody else, these guys are pro's!

I've been in the construction trade for over 30 years. Sewer work is difficult work. There are multiple unknowns - and the workspace and materials are heavy and messy. Soooo many ways a job could go south and go over-bid - if you don't have true experts. Advanced Trenchless did our job professionally, within the time framework they estimated - and without going over bid - despite unforeseen challenges (how can you ever fully foresee what's going on underground?).
We called several companies - two responded - and advanced gave us the most competitive bid - without scary cost-overrun provisos. The cost can be sobering - until the equipment and crew show up. Divide the cost between all that crew and heavy equipment for three days - and it's very fair.
The crew was polite and informative. And - you know what? - the inspector was great too (clearly Advanced Trenchless has a good reputation with Central Sanitation).
I recommend this company without reservation.

Contracted for sewer line trenchless replacement in contra costa county. They left work undone for months, we had to call them several times before they responded, wanted payment even though contract says payment at completion, wanted to add thousands $ more before they will complete their work. Original contract cost was very high compare to another company.

We hired them due to yelp reviews and regretted it. This is why we want to let other know on yelp about our disappointments with this outfit. Hopefully others will be wiser from our experience.

11/15/19. To respond to Advanced Trenchless, the work location was in Contra Costa County by Advanced Trenchless,. Work started and stretched out for 9 months for trenchless sewer replacement by Advanced Trenchless,. The same job would take other companies 1 to 4 days.

I chose this company because of the great reviews. There are times, though, when even 5-star rated businesses disappoint. This is not the case with this company. First, there was no charge for the camera inspection, which I believe is not the norm. The inspection showed that the sewer line needed no repair or replacement at this time, contrary to other inspections that were done. One company quoted me $15,000 to replace the pipes. Advanced Trenchless (Arthur) did tell me that I could opt to have the line cleaned out by way of hydro-jetting, which, sad to say, is a service that Advanced Trenchless does not provide. Bottom line, I can't emphasize enough how very encouraging it is to find a business that is honest and that puts its customers' interests before profit and, in some cases, greed!

I had my sewer main replaced. Crew 2 did a great job. These guys had to work through crazy rain the first 3 hours , and didn't skip a beat. they had inspector come and finished the job in a timely manner , EVEN with the wild weather. Jaun did a great job keeping me up to speed on what was going on etc.
The crew came back the next day to power wash and clean up. It was a muddy mess after all the rain. I highly recommend Advanced Trenchless plumbing!! Gene had explained the entire job and all went according to plan. Great company , good prices. The entire crew was respectful and hard working. 5 STARS FOR SURE.

This is an honest business with helpful and efficient people. I live on a slope and had some muddy spots in my back yard after 2 weeks with no rain. I thought I might have a problem. I called 3 trenchless sewer line companies. The first business who came by told me I had a sewer line break in two placesand gave me an estimate for over $7K. A neighbor had used Advanced Trenchless a couple of years ago and couldn't say enough good things about them. Ryan and Jordan from Advanced Trenchless came by two days later and did a thorough inspection with a camera and told me they didn't see any breaks in my sewer line - with or without water going through the line. The third business didn't use the camera but inspected my back yard and confirmed it was just wet, no signs of sewage. I'm so glad I don't have a broken sewer line, but if I do need that kind of work done, I will be calling Advanced Trenchless. They saved me $7K and gave me peace of mind. How often does that happen?

Advanced Trenchless has the best service I've ever experienced in contracting work. They worked really hard to do a complete replacement on our main line and new sewer line from our garage. There were complications involving damage to the storm drain (due to poor 1950's construction), but they worked tirelessly with the sanitation district to mend the breach.
A plus was they hooked up our sewer line temporarily each night.

The appoint process was a joy. Then Cameron arrived right on time and cleaned our line from house to street as I requested. He first used a 3 rooter in our 4 pipe, then did a camera run, which showed that though there were no breakages in our 58 year old pipe (lucky us!) one could see multiple places where roots had gotten in and created tell-tale backup lines along the sides. Cameron then made another run with a 4' rooter to really clean the pipe, and did another camera run. The 5 stars reviews held true for me, as this company is a delight to work with!

Yesterday, I hired a different company to come out for a sewer line maintenance cleaning. They hit resistance in the line, used a camera scope, saw water and told me that it means I had a broken sewer line and needed to replace it, which would cost thousands of dollars. A neighbor had recently used Advanced Trenchless, so I called them for a second opinion. Kevin was my technician and he reported that my line was backed up and needed a cleaning. Interesting, since that is what I paid a different company to do yesterday. I decided to pay Advanced Trenchless to clean it this time, in hopes it would be done right. Kevin was super diligent and committed to getting it handled, which involved him cleaning out my line twice, as it was blocked with tree roots. He removed the roots and the line is all clear now. The best news, using his camera scope, he determined that there were NO breaks in my sewer pipe as the other company reported. The company I previously called either tried to take advantage of me, was lazy or negligent. Whichever the case, Advanced Trenchless earned my respect and trust. They are professional, experienced, reliable and honest. As a result, they will get all my future business and I will gladly recommend them.

From the very start, Ryan and his team were absolutely professional and very clear on expectations. He walked me through the entire camera scoping of the line and showed me all the items of concern and how they would impact the overall pricing of the job. There was a relatively expensive possibility as my wye touched my neighbors and it would have added more than $1k to the job, but when job day came and went they were able to do the work without doing that more expensive fix. They were more expensive than other quotes I received, but I put a premium on trust, transparency, and clarity and it was a no-brainer to go with Advanced Trenchless. I wholeheartedly recommend them. We just had our sewer lateral in north Oakland replaced by Advanced Trenchless, fortunately free due to a pilot project of EBMUD. I dealt with foreman Jordan Bailey, son of the founder and brother of the current owner, for scheduling, execution, and fixing a minor problem afterward. I found him and the whole operation extremely professional, efficient, competent and easy to work with. He was consistently on time, did everything he said they'd do, explained it all first, and made sure everything was clean and I was happy when they left. It was a one-day job, which I liked, and they made short work of wrestling a 60-ft pipe into my side yard without trashing any plants or vegetables.

During the digging, a laborer accidentally cut a wire that shouldn't really have been in the ground not in conduit; they showed it to me and put it back together, with all of us thinking no harm done. When that turned out to be a phone cable that ran an extension that was suddenly dead after the sewer job, I called Jordan, who came over the next AM, dug it up, fixed it in a flash so that dial tone was restored, and sent me a bunch of color photos of the repair and the warning tape they put in for the next diggers to find. I was a happy camper, and would definitely recommend this company. The only thing I don't know is how competitive their prices are, since my job was at no cost to me, but on every other count my experience was that they are an efficient and well-run company of nice people.

I asked them for an estimate to replace my sewer lateral to compare to one I had already obtained for $16,000 & instead was told after they TV'd the line it only needed cleaning and cost was $209! It hadn't ever been cleaned in 60 years & only backed up once 20 years ago so surely the first plumbers were trying to take me.

Fabulous. The team did an amazing job - and were friendly and *extremely* well organized to boot. They replaced our completely-blocked (by tree roots) sewer main line in a day. Could not believe how smoothly the whole thing went.

Bottom line: Finding out you have to replace a sewer line can be stressful. But these guys have the whole process down to a T and were a pleasure to work with. We now have a fully functional sewer with overflow protection, are no longer worrying about plumbing back-up fiascos, and the invoice matched the estimate exactly. Whew! Thanks Advanced Trenchless!

I suspected a backup at the end of the property. Scheduled a sewer inspection. The process was painless and had a text confirmation with in minutes for the next available spot. Artie P. showed up a few days later right on time to my 2hr window and was very thorough. Answered all my annoying questions professionally. It appears the back up may have occurred in a manhole off my property too far to for the camera line to confirm. In the end he couldn't find anything wrong with my sewer line but if ever have any issues I know who to call.

I have rental property in Crockett and called another company to come out for thr Sewer Lateral video. They stated they could give me an estimate for repairs and do the necessary work. They were interested in neither when I called them back. They stated it was too tough of a job and they didn't have the manpower for it. Gene and his guys came out, did their own video, gave me an estimate and completed the work on time and under budget. These guys are good and reliable. I was disappointed that they advertise widely that estimates are free, when in fact their charge for evaluating a sewer line for a general inspection is $250 (e.g., for escrow inspections). It's only free when you're having a problem and need that problem fixed (for more $). It would feel less like bait if they stated this on their website instead of writing all over that estimates are free. I did not end up using this service. They were prompt to respond to inquiries and quick to schedule a time, so 4-stars for a good professional showing, but minus 1 for the lack of transparency about cost on their website.

EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS OF SEWER REPLACEMENT JOB! Honest,responsible on their proposal.On the day of the job they were on time ,very responsible in dealing with me and extremely professional in all aspects of replacing my sewer pipe from the house to the sewer main.
They were a very well choreographed, as each person on the team was very skilled on each task they performed,and they constantly helped each other so there was no wasted time. The boss came around and also checked their work and checked on their progress , and constantly asked me if I had any concerns or questions.They worked with the city so that the inspections were signed off at the appropriate times and the job moved seamlessly toward completion. We are new to the area. This team was amazing! They efficiently figured out our problem and competently performed the necessary work to get everything back in order. In addition, due to a serious emergency our dogs had been left alone for the day. Amazing. Scott went above and beyond. Super nice, very flexible.

Simple part: cleaned out our main sewer line. Substantial tree root intrusion. Actually backed up while cleaning it out, so timing was impeccable. Going on their annual clean out schedule.

Hard part: PVC storm drains clogged up with many tree root intrusions. Rescue Rooter (never using them again) quoted $8k to dig up our driveway and put in new pipe. Advanced Trenchless was able to snake out 90% of the length, and the short part they couldn't get to due to unfortunate bends in the piping was identified and easily accessible to be dug up. Saved me $7,800 and a huge hassle.

Ryan and Mike replaced the sewer lines for several houses on our street. We needed to coordinate with the major repairs the city was making on the roadbed (to save about $900/house on street repairs that would have been required otherwise. Plus the new road looks great - not all cut up by repairs after the roadwork.). Advanced did the job with no further effort from us - permits, scheduling, etc.

The price was easily the best because Advanced specializes - more than 50% off of proposals from regular plumbers (we did not look at other sewer specialists).

Better yet, when the job was done, my better half said, I can't even tell that they were here.

18mo later, our sewer functions better than ever. The tree root problem is gone, and no clogs. Everyone else is just as happy too.

Professional, complete service, excellent work, great value, and they left no loose ends/ trash/ breakage that too many contractors so often leave behind.

In the last year, I've had major plumbing issues with my rental home. Every 3 months the line in the bathroom would back up and overflow. Yes, lots of sewage. Lett's plumbing would come out snake the line and problem solved for a few months. They also told me if I dug out the clean out and put it below ground it would solve the problem. Well, problem not solved. a year later, $1500. out of my pocket and into Lett's pocket and much frustration for me and my renters, I finally fired Shane Lett's for incompetence. When I called Ryan from Trenchless, he went out and put a camera down the line and ran into a block 45' out. He said, it could be a break which would cost me $4000. to replace or it could be tree roots. He also told me, some plumbers, will come out and snake the line with a 1 snake, clear the line then in 3 months or so the tree root grows back and the line backs up. OMG! He was describing my life for the last year. But he told me, if it is a tree root, he uses a 6snake and he could usually get through most roots and then it becomes a yearly maintenance issue. Luckily, it was a tree root. He was able to get through and it cost me $160.00. I do not like being taken for a financial ride, so it is nice to have someone out there who is honest and goes that extra step to make sure the job is done right the first time.

Professional, thorough, and courteous from start to finish. We got a few bids and Advance Trenchless had the most reasonable price. Our sewer line needed to be replaced as they were the original clay pipes. Todd came out to do the free estimate and explained the replacement process. Our sewer line had a few odd turns but Todd and his manager were able to come up with a plan to complete the work, which was completed in one day. I have used Advanced two times, the first time was a standard sewer inspection for my home purchase in Pleasant Hill and everything was easy, simple and straight forward had a great experience.
The second time i used them was at my elderly parents home in concord. I stepped in after a contractor charged my parent $200.00 dollars for a estimate for a sewer lateral replacement. I called Trenchless and two other reputable companies for quotes, Trehchless price came in the best, but even better was the customer service they provided along with a modern approach to business. They installed a HDPE lateral and did a fantastic job, the site was clean the asphalt patch looked good we could barely tell they were there.

How do you write a great review for a company that never actually did any repairs? Well, when they do a free estimate to inform you that you don't NEED any repairs!

Our bathroom had flooded the week previously and another plumber (without a camera) snaked the sewer clean-out and informed us that the pipe was broken and filled with roots and mud. Yikes! We then called Benecia Plumbing (who are great, but whose camera is on the fritz) for a second opinion and they referred to Trenchless. Ryan came out and informed us that we did NOT have a break, but that the pipes were offset and created a lip on which material could get caught. No repair and no charge for the diagnosis. We were anticipating a repair in the thousands of dollars and wondering if we would be eating top ramen for the next few months Thank you, Ryan! The news allowed us to breathe again.

Advanced Trenchless is a small family owned company that can take care of all your sewer lateral needs! My wife and I recently bought our first home, and within weeks we had a plumbing issue. We called a large name company to come help clean the line and they provided a camera inspection all for $500

Much to our disbelief, the quote for the sewer lateral was close to $35,000! After shopping around and doing a Yelp search we were lucky to find Advanced Trenchless! They came out, performed a free inspection and quoted us less than 25% of what the large named company quoted. Their quote also included the local permit fees from our city.

Leah, the office manager, was so responsive to calls when we needed answers and scheduled us in a very timely manner. The work crew that consisted of the foreman Luis and others on the crew like Brandon, Darrell, Edgar and Daniel are just good hard workers that are polite and finished the job in less than eight hours.

Just want to give a quick update. It's been a little over 6 years since they installed the new lateral line. This morning my line was backing up. Thankfully, they have a 20 year warranty and they came out and put their camera in and found that there was a root in the CITY main line. This is an update to my previous rave review. Quick synopsis: Advanced Trenchless did an UNBELIEVABLY good job restoring my yard/porch/planter boxes/etc, after doing the work. They even fixed an old, broken planter box that had fallen apart when they tried to pick it up, which was definitely going above and beyond the call of duty. You should read the whole review below, because I stand by everything I said; they did a PHENOMENAL job.

On to the update: It turned out that a mistake had been made while doing the work, although it took me a couple of days to realize. Water to the house was restored, but water to the garden was accidentally not connected properly. (The water was connected to an old, abandoned pipe, which for some reason lies *on top* of the new, in-use pipe.) Advanced Trenchless had outstanding customer service, was very responsive by phone, and got the problem fixed fairly quickly. (Someone came out to look at it within 1-2 days, and the problem was fixed within a week.) I was impressed by the customer service, and by how quickly they were able to squeeze me in (considering they'd moved onto other jobs by the time I contacted them), and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge me anything for the fix. I continue to be very, very happy with my experience, and plan to use them again. Just amazing top-of-the-line service from beginning to end.

Top notch company! Quick to respond and provided a fast, fair and free estimate to replace my almost 70 year old sewer lateral. Not only did they provide the best price, they were able to schedule the job within a week of bid acceptance. And even though it turned that I had two separate lines at the foundation that merged to the lateral, there were no additional charges. Our sewer lateral was becoming obstructed by roots. We had had Advanced Trenchless do a spot repair in 2017. At the time, I figured it was a temporary fix, and that's why, when it starting happening again, I had a bunch of companies out to give an estimate on a trenchless sewer line replacement. Well, when the plumber from this company came out to video the line (in order to give us a replacement estimate), I happened to mention that they had done the repair in 2017. Well, he scoped the line and said it looked fine except in the spot they had done the repair - there were roots again. He told me that there was a 20 year warranty on their work, and that Advanced Trenchless would repair it for free. He also said that if there were any more clogs before they could repair the line, that the company would also clear them for free. Well, in fact, it only took them a week to get my line repaired. Couldn't be happier with this company!

For years I've had my sewer line cleaned out and I finally got tired of the stress of not knowing when it would clog up again. I'd used Advanced Trenchless previously to look at the line and clean it out so it was obvious they would be one of the bids for my project. They ended up coming in lower than any other estimate and had a better written guarantee than anyone else. They replaced my sewer line using the bursting method and cleaned up all within a single day. My line was long as well, just over 110 feet with one 45 turn. $18000 for a sewer lateral!!? Talk about trying to screw me. I found one company for $8k....same work...same machine...same material. Settled for Challenge Router $6500. Family owned. Let me pay out of escrow since I was selling my Oakland property and had to pay for staging etc. Found out another company would have done it for $5800. However, I don't mind paying for quality so I was fine with Challenge. My point being...these guys at Trenchless have lost their minds. Sorry no sucker here. Talk about gouging. I'm sure you'll see some cut and pasted response to this like we use the highest quality blah blah blah. Steer clear unless you like paying 60% mark up.

After Ryan inspected our 300 ft long sewer line from the house to the city sewer line, we decided that he would be the one to replace our broken line. What locked the deal was the offer to come anytime if the sewer backed up while we wait to be on the schedule for the job. Our existing sewer line was the route in which the new sewer would follow by inserting the new pipe into the old pipe while slicing it the old pipe open and away. Great technology. This only works if the old pipe has no up and down shifts along its length. We just installed pavers where the first clean out lay, but Advanced Trenchless crew laid all the pavers back down perfectly! The second clean out was relocated on the driveway so they installed a flat metal cap that would be easy to access. The final connection became a challenge due to the mystery on how it was connected to the city line. Ryan has enough experience to know what to do and this was only a small obstacle. The crew made sure the construction would not irritate the neighbors since the one lane street would be blocked by trucks, material, and crew. When I came back from a trip after the project was done, I was amazed on how clean the street and the house was.

Ryan and his team did a seamless installation of my new external sewer line in 48 hours. The team spent a lot of time researching my property sewer lines and the neighbors' as well to do the job properly. They created a new sewer main entry point and divided the old one with minimal disruption to my neighbor.. Thank you to Advanced Trenchless for saving us thousands of dollars! We had been having plumbing issues . The first company came out and snaked the line, which in a day we had to call again! They came out and hydro flushed. We still had problems! They came out and gave us a quote to completely replace the upper lateral pipes! Luckily, I was talking to a friend that recommended Advanced Trenchless to me to get a second opinion. So thankful we did! They came out to give us a quote and cane out the next day to repair it for a fraction of what the other company quoted us!! They don't try to up sell either!! After a couple of sewer blockage problems we knew we needed to replace our old clay sewer line. I checked with a few plumbers for their bids. One plumber charge as much as $250 just to put a camera inside the sewer line to give us a bid (it turned out this one, Mr. Fix It Right, gave us the highest bid).

I found Advanced Trenchless on line and decided to give them a try. Since they don't charge anything for a bid what did we have to lose? The estimator, Scott, showed up right on time and did the investigation efficiently and gave us the lowest bid. Advanced Trenchless does the actual sewer replacement job themselves. Other plumbers subcontract out the work. This is why Advanced Trenchless' bid is lower than the others.

The actual work itself was done very professionally and on time. We were worried about cutting into the lawn area and the mess it may create. However, after the work was done they put everything back to the way it was, and we cannot even see where the lawn was cut.

I recommend Advanced Trenchelss to anyone who is looking for a good professional company to do sewer line replacement for a fair price.

A couple years ago, Advanced Trenchless replaced the large pipe under our sloped front yard to the street for which I wrote a five-star review for their outstanding work. Today, they did another project for us, replacing part of the pipe under our house where roots had gotten in, and again, the work was outstanding. Juan, Jerry, and Brian arrived exactly on schedule, were most efficient, professional, thorough, conscientious, and friendly, and they kept us informed the whole time, and cleaned up beautifully after. Also, I appreciated the care they took with a plant that had to be removed since we planned to replant it elsewhere. And finally, I should mention that the initial free consultation and camera work was also a very good experience (and I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the person who helped us with that). Like a few other reviewers, I called Advanced Trenchless after a big-name company told me I needed some repairs for my sewer lateral and quoted me $16,000 for the work.

Advanced Trenchless not only came out to inspect the line and offer a quote for free (several other companies wanted to charge me $250 for an inspection before they'd give me a quote), but they gave me the best news: The big-name company had done a poor inspection and most of the things they called out weren't really problems. The minor root intrusion could be kept under control with regular cleanouts (which makes sense, it had worked fine for years, and the supposed defects would not have been new).

When asked what they'd charge for the work the big-name company had quoted, they estimated about half.

I think I've got about 5-10 years left on the line, but when it's time to be replaced, Advanced has got my business.

Advanced Trenchless figured out how to resolve a tricky connection for us. Their proposal was complete, and they showed up as scheduled. They did the work quickly and efficiently, despite having to work around a neighbor's parked car.

I dreaded dealing with having to do a sewer lateral after purchasing my new home, but it was the easiest part of the renovations. Ryan was great, and even my contractor was impressed. Completely smooth and no worries. Now if they could have handled all my renovations!

Am ONLY upgrading my review because Marilyn, business manager, took the time to respond to my original review and apologized and reimbursed us for the certificate fee we had to pay for. It's unfortunate that numerous calls and conversations prior to our Yelp review fell on deaf ears. Hopefully the are changing their systems processes to what it was a few years ago. Only time will tell.

We highly recommend Advanced Trenchless for sewer lateral replacement! Michael (the dad) of a father-son partnership performed the free internal inspection of our fifty-plus-year-old sewer. He narrated the little camera's colonoscopy-like voyage as it revealed a few breaks and occasional root presence. Even so, we were not high-pressured to sign and replace. We were told that we might fake it a few more years with occasional clean-outs. On the other hand, we knew that the city was about to re-pave our street, and that our vintage sewer laterals could be replaced at about half of the normal cost if we quickly had them done before the paving began.

We decided to get the replacement for four reasons: (1) the sewer of our relative's house had broken a few years ago, and it cost them about $11,000 for a company to manually dig up their lawn and repair the stinky mess. (2) because we are doing it just before street paving, our city fees are waived, and we do not need to pay thousands more for the company to repair the street in a manner acceptable long-term to the city; therefore, our cost is about half what my relatives paid (3) Michael and Ryan (the son) from AT were very informative and pleasant. Their company gets positive ratings on Yelp. (4) AT sweetened the estimate further by offering residents on our street a 5% break because 3 or more homeowners signed with them.

We are pleased that we selected this company. They assigned us a date weeks ahead and stuck to it. As described in the other Yelp reviews, the crew arrived on time, seemed very experienced at sewer lateral replacement, and left our garden in pristine condition. Their repair in the middle of the street is neater than what most other contractors prepping for the street job have left--even though these are temporary repairs before the street is totally ripped up and repaved. I would absolutely recommend these pros whose teams specialize in this procedure.

I have to give these folks 5 stars, even though I ended up going with another company (simply due to $). They have been an absolute dream to work with. They came out promptly, kept me in the loop on their schedule (they even texted with a photo of the tech who would be on site to let me know he was on his way--who does that???), did a thorough investigation and measurement, made sure I completely understood what they were seeing and the impacts on my home, gave me a prompt quote, and then followed up to see if I had any questions about the quote. We did decide to go with another company simply on price, but based on my experience with Advanced Trenchless, I would trust them completely. They were honest, timely, with great knowledge and follow-up, and made sure I had a complete understanding. Seriously awesome folks. After the nightmare of our sewer situation (8 plumbers on site in the course of 2 weeks and over $1,000 spent just trying to get a diagnosis), Advanced Trenchless was a breath of fresh air.
