These guys are the best. I've had them out a few times now and they're always so kind, respectful, communicative and reliable.
I've had poor experiences with other companies in the past so I'm really grateful to have found Absolute!

Disaster struck our toilet plumbing at 7:30pm last night. With my in-laws staying at my home as well as 2 Airbnb guests and no amount of synchronized plunging seeming to work, I frantically rang around several 24hr plumbers to no avail until I reached Absolute Rooter and Plumbing. Within 20 minutes a plumber was at my door and 10 minutes later the problem was completely solved. The plumber was very friendly and professional, he did an incredible job. I'm so grateful to this company for their swift service, they really saved me from a complete meltdown! Thank you so much and keep up the excellent work!

We had a sudden and severe break in our sprinkler line from the water main, and the city shut off our water at the main. I called Absolute Rooter and they were able to get a team out that afternoon. They were able to locate the leak and put in a temporary fix so our water could be turned back on. Then they came out the next day and did the complete repairs. We were quoted a fair price and paid exactly what was quoted. The work was excellent, high quality, we are completely satisfied. The team were professional, friendly, and communicated with us frequently throughout the service. I highly recommend Absolute Rooter & Plumbing.

I was referred to Absolute Rooter & Plumbing Service by my Home warranty company. I spoke with Kareem and he was very friendly on the phone, and despite the fact that he was being paid by my warranty company, and not me - he offered me his first available. I appreciated that so much!

I was not home when Kareem did the repairs but I am told he was very fast and very professional. I am very pleased with the work he did.

I am writing this review for a very interesting occurrence that happened while Kareem was at the house. When he was done, the water would not come back. He went back around the house and tried everything to figure out what the problem was. He informed us he has tried everything and was unsure why it would not come back on? He had other appointments and had to leave. The reason the water did not come back, is because unrelated work was being done in my neighborhood and the city had turned off our water. No problem! This is where I was impressed....Kareem called me back the following day to ensure that our water had come back on and that we did not need him to come back. Are you kidding me!? That is amazing customer service! I could not believe he was so polite to call back and offered to come back. I was thoroughly impressed and definitely would use him the future. Thank you!

I have some stubborn root problem, starting with 2nd floor shower drain getting clogged. Then 1st floor shower drain and toilet all got backed up.

The previous plumber came did the camera, located root, but couldn't clear root with cable. They recommended diggin up the concrete, remove root and replace part of pipe, which would cost me close to $2000.

I called Kareem, he told me on the phone to use camera and hydro jet to clear the pipe.

He and Bret arrived on Christmas Eve morning. Used camera to pin point where the roots were. Then they used cable machine to clear the main line in both directions. They used hand held drill snake to clear the 2nd story shower drain.

They also replaced wax seals for the downstair toilet, because water backed up from under the toilet and broke the seal.

Now that all plumbing is working, I can have a merry Christmas, thanks to Kareem and Bret.

I highly recommend Kareem and his service, he's nice, knowledgable and straight to the point.

Absolute Rooter was prompt  and responsive.  They can out and provided a quote a fix.  I would recommend them.

My fiancé and I are buying a house, the inspector suggested we have a plumber come inspect the plumbing for  a second opinion. I called absolute rooter and plumbing and was able to have someone come and inspect the house that same day! They were very helpful and also gave us a quote  for the repairs that needed to be done the same day. Very professional and fast!

I had a sewage leak under my house. Absolute was the first business I contacted.  The technician was very nice but gave a lot of incorrect information.  He didn't look at the the City Sewage pipe. He told me that the leak was happening for months although I only not iced the odor two days before that. He gave me a quote of $7,800 to remove the 3' of broken pipe and dry out the flooding.
Fortunately I got a second opinion.  The other plumber, from JR Putman, did check the plumbing line from the sewer district.  This was what caused the pipe to be stressed at a previous job to break.  He contacted the sewer district for me and they were out that day.  The cost to remove and replace the faulty pipe is almost $3,000 less.  The plumber also told me that the leak happened over a few days.
I wouldn't recommend Absolute plumbing to anyone.  Also, always get several bids on any project.

I bought a 30 year old house and when I moved in I had issues with the gas line and some water leaks. Being new to the area I was nervous about working with shady or flaky contractors. I got so lucky with Kareem at Absolute Rooter. He was able to modify my gas line to fit my new oven. The same day my washing machine water line sprung a leak - he came back the same night and fixed the issue so that I could start my laundry (I was waiting for the washer/dryer for weeks so was desperate). I really appreciate how responsive and dependable this company is. Thank you!

Moved into a new home two weeks ago and woke up to running toilet noises in middle of night! Called my home warranty and they set me up with Absolute Rooter. Karim and his crew came the next morning and did a fantastic job...no more noisy running toilets!  Definitely will keep their number handy.

I had an electrical project where PG&E needed to move my gas meter.
Long story short is I had problems with a previous plumber who connected my house to the meter not to code. PG&E would not approve the work so I could not move forward with a new electrical panel install.

Absolute Rooter showed up to provide a quote and after I showed them my issue, and told them that the installation needs to pass county and PG&E codes they said no problem.

It was getting late in the evening and I said lets get started thinking they would start the next day.

They started right that night and did a fantastic job.
They also found several leaks and incorrect pipes that were used and fixed everything so my gas system would pass both inspections. No wonder my gas bill kept going up. I thought it was just PG&E raising my rates.

A few days of work to get the system up to code and it passed with no issues.

These guys were great at communicating, showed up when they said they would and kept me up to date on anything they found and needed to be corrected.

I will definitely hire them for any plumbing needs in the future.

Our relationship with Absolute Rooter & Plumbing started a little shakey. I booked an appointment online and the system ended up double booking the time. So we had to reschedule the time. I had taken a day off from work for no reason. So right of the bat, they needed to do a fantastic job to get me to be a happy camper. We did get the quote and scheduled a day to do the job. Kareem just completed the project under our kitchen sink. Some of the plumbing was from when our house was first built, which was about 30 years ago. Some of it was in really bad shape, corrosion and leaks. And the right side of the double sink was draining slowly. Well, I'm very pleased with Kareem's professionalism, knowledge and efficiency. It took him less than 2 hours to finish. This included cutting old pipes, adding new joints, installing a new disposal and snaking the outflow pipes. We also found out he works on slab leaks and outdoor plumbing. Great service.

Kareem from Absolute is the best! My toilet seemed to always get clogged and when I use to get plumbers to unclog it, it seemed like I would call one at least once a month or so. When Kareem from Absolute came for a same day appt. I told him I felt like this was happening all the time. So he suggested to do a camera inspection on the main sewer line to see what the problem was, so I agreed.  He showed me that there were roots in the line and that was causing everything to back up. He then suggested doing a hydrojet to clear out the lines for a great price so I agreed. Since then I haven't had any problems with my toilets and no more sewer smell! Thanks to Kareem! He was so professional  and knew what he was doing. I recommend him to all my friends now.

First let me say they scheduled quick and arrived quick both times we have used them. The first time they came out, the water heater had to be replaced and they did it very quickly and we're very friendly. The second time they came out fast to re-light my pilot light that had blown out & I couldn't get going again.

Had my Garbage disposal go out and the tech did a great job by quickly installing a new one with much better quality.

We found a gas leak in our house we just purchased. We had the gas company shut off the gas. We had multiple plumbers come over. Thankfully we figured out our Home warranty would cover it. They sent over 2 plumbers the first one was trying to take a shortcut by having the gas company turn the gas back on so he can find the leak. Unfortunately they would not because it was a hazard! Then they sent of Kareem from Absolute. He came over diagnosed the issue and then sent the report to the warranty company. They authorized the repair and he fixed her right up the day after they authorized. Our house isn't leaking gas anymore so I would definitely recommend absolute.

Had a big gas leak . Gas company came out turned off gas and spent several hours removing the remaining gas that lingered in the air. Next day called absolute to locate where the gas leak was. He said because the gas was off it will cost 465.00 to run a test so they can locate leak.  said, what if its underground. He said, I can guarantee its not underground. Fifteen minutes later he says the leak in underground and there is no way to locate the leak without tearing up different parts of the foundation and poking holes everywhere.. The best thing to do is totally repipe. I said, Wait a minute, thats not what you told me. If you would have explained to me, that if its underground you will not be able to locate it, and what that entails I would not have paid for the test. When I questioned you prior to the test, you said, and I quote, I can guarantee the leak is not under ground. So I agreed to the test... I said, You were very misleading. I agreed to the test because you assured me it wasn't underground & locating the leak would be much cheaper than repiping the whole house. Then he told me he smelled gas by the sprinkler valves. He could not have smelled gas, because at that point the gas had been shut off for 24hrs.There was no gas smell. The worst part was he quoted me 9 to 12,000. to repair it. When I questioned his quote, he said, Look, you are getting a total repipe. By our conversation  he knew I would not accept that price, he suddenly was able to reduce it to 5,200.00..??? That was clue questioning his honesty.. After getting 2 other bids, both well below his 1st bid.. I went with a well known plumbing company who did a full repipe for 4,100.00, almost 3 times less than his 1st quote of 12,000. And still, 1,100.00 less than his 2nd quote. Not a good experience. I do not like price gouging and taking advantage of an emergency situation.

The technician that came out was informative  and friendly, and most importantly honest. I would like to emphasize that the company is honest. I asked for cameras to go down my toilets to see if there was a clog since the toilets keep backing up repeatedly. He could've done that, and instead he said that he knew it wasn't some thing with the plumbing that it was just the toilets were too small. I really appreciated that. I asked him to give me a quote for replacing the toilets and he said he would send it by the next day. Several days later I call to let them know that I never received the quote. I was informed someone would call me back or send the quote that day. That never happened either. I've called again since then with no return call. I needed this quote to submit to my property manager in a timely manner and ended up getting billed from my property manager since I could now not prove that I was not at fault. They also won't replace the toilets for me until I get a quote by a professional company. So while they are honest and probably good with their work based on the other reviews, they were not reliable and I was very disappointed in that.

Had Absolute come out and fix the drain and trap on our bathtub several months ago (it was leaking under the house).  They came out, were friendly, prompt, and used brand new parts (which they showed me) and did a quick, professional installation.  They also showed me the worn, old parts (which I much appreciated.)  I have them coming out tomorrow to do more work, and I know it will be just as professional and quick!  If anyone has ever had a bad experience with a plumber, then you know how nice it is to find one that you can trust!

Back in July I started my hunt for a plumber to move an existing water line to the perimeter of my yard to make room for a pool we were having put in. I had received 5 estimates when I met Levon from Absolute, and the hunt for the right plumber stopped there. His professionalism and communication were on point. The job was done in a timely manner. And he let me know that if we had any issues with the line he moved during our pool dig, that he would come fix it at no cost. I didn't get this in writing, but today he came through on his word. The copper pipe was lifted and dented during the excavation and I sent Levon a text. He responded immediately and two days later, my pipe was repaired at no cost to me. Who even does that these days?! Amazing customer service. We will be using Absolute for all our future plumbing needs.

Our toilet was clogged in the middle of the night. They came right away and fixed the problem. They will do anything to make it right and I recommend this to anyone.

Our house is old and had old pipes that were leaking and needed to be replaced immediately. We had two of their gentlemen come out and they got it fixed for us. They were very responsive and kept to their work to get it done ASAP. Kind, respectful, and informative.

I was visiting a family members house and my granddaughter threw a toy in the toilet. I had to have the Plumber remove the toilet to get the toy out. I was expecting a high bill, but it was a very reasonable price and the response time was great. My family members kept the Companies information to call if future problems arise. Absolute Rooter is a great plumbing company. I have used the plumbing company for 4 times over the last two years.  They always get the job done and very fair priced.  I received a quote from another company due to absolute rooter being busy the day we needed them.   Ended up waiting for absolute and saved 365.00 on repairs needed for the drain lines.

Highly recommend! Kareen came out on a Saturday to fix a leak in our copper piping. He called us 30 min. prior to arrival, as we had requested... was professional and got our leak fixed quickly. We will definitely use Absolute Plumbing for any future needs.

I recently needed help with an insinkerator and slow draining bathtub. This company was assigned to me by a home warranty company and I'm always wary about the company that comes out. I was really pleased with the job that Kareem did. He informed me as to what time to expect him and even came early. He quickly sized up the issues and took care of them very quickly and efficiently. He gave me some tips as to how to keep my systems running well and I greatly appreciated that. I was very impressed with Kareem's work and knowledge and would recommend this company.

I have a property I'm renting in garden grove, I got a couple estimates to get me sewer line repaired, finally through a friend I got the number to Absolute Rooter and Plumbing.  Called them to set an appointment, they were very accommodating due to my busy work schedule.

They came out, I explained the scope of work, and showed them the video of the sewer section the needed replacement, they were very straight forward and gave me the best option to solve my issue,  of just a fix until it backed up again.

Really happy with their work, they even cleaned up the mess!

Kareem saved my day today.  He gave me a straight forward estimate and no runaround unlike the other companies who accepted Fidelity home owners insurance.  He fixed the leaky pipes on the same day.

I'm extremely satisfied with Kareem at Absolute Rooter & Plumbing Services.  I have a pressure assist toilet that broke.  I bought this toilet just a bit over a year ago.  I first called Roto Rooter who sent a plumber over.  The Roto Rooter plumber looked at the toilet, said it couldn't be fixed and suggested I buy a different brand of pressure assist toilet.  He said that the brand I had only had a one year warranty.  I did not believe him and asked him to leave.

I contacted the manufacturer of the toilet, who told me there was a ten year parts warranty.  They suggested I call Kareem -they said he knew how to repair the toilet and had a reputation for being fair.

Kareem came the very next day.  He picked up the parts from the manufacturer and arrived after hours as it is difficult for me to take time off work.  Kareem was polite, did not try to upsell me anything, completed the job quickly even though the toilet is in kind of a hard to reach spot and neatly.  His charge was exceedingly reasonable.  He did not charge me extra for after hours work.  I am very satisfied with the quality of the work.

I am saving Kareem's card - if any other plumbing has issues that I cannot handle myself, Kareem will be my go-to guy.

They were out one week ago to unclog my kitchen sink drain. Now it is backing up again. I called them first thing this morning and was told there was no warranty and I would have to pay them if they came out again. It was only one week!

Called out Absolute Rooter and Kareem showed up..can't say enough about how good he was..not only did he fix the issue but explained to me how to not let it happen again.  All the questions I asked her was able to answer.  Would totally recommend Kareem and Absolute. 1 thing that stood out was he gave me an estimate and asked me to price check other companies and get back to him if I wanted him to do the work and by-gyonit his was the most fair price.

These guys saved me hundreds! First they called on their way over which was nice. Then they looked at the issue in my guest shower and fixed the problem (low water pressure and cold not working properly) in 10 minutes. The issue was sediment. The issue the first plumber I called included tearing out the shower, replacing gaskets and valves for at least $500. So glad I got another opinion. These guys are friendly and know what they are doing.

Had a problem with the temperature balancer in my shower, my landlord arranged for Kareem from Absolute Rooter & Plumber to come out.

He came to my restaurant to unclog the floor drain. The guy kept working on it for more than an hour. He did not charge me at all because he couldn't finish the job.

Absolute Rooter and Plumbing Services really helped us out when we were in a pinch.  Well after normal working hours, my shower valve developed a leak and left my house without a functional place to bathe.  I called Absolute and Kareem told me he'd come by and take a look at it in the morning.  He gave me an estimate, let me know what needed to be done, and I accepted the bid.  Everything went just as expected and Kareem even changed out the shower fixtures for me at no extra charge.  The price was fair, the work was completed quickly, and the end result was a happy family that could shower again.  I would recommend Absolute for all of my friends and will continue to use them moving forward.

Can not say enough about Absolute Plumming!! Came out on a Sunday from a main line block.  Fixed it and told me what could be done to help prevent this from happening again.  Did not try to sell me on anything.  Quick and professional.  Would recommend them for your plumming needs!!

They came in to replace my washing machine drain pipe. They had to cut the old one and put in a new one with a new p-trap. They worked so fast and quietly I barely noticed they were there! Amazing service!

Update:  Well after over 2 years post-work I have had zero issues with my drains being slow.   Actually everything just blasts down the drains.    In my 22 years living at my beloved little casa with so many sweet memories, having Kareem and  team overhaul my drainage all the way to the city line was truly the best investment i have ever made in my house.

Wow!! What a smooth experience for once. Kareem is well knowledgeable about everything I've ever questioned other plumbers. I've had an on going issue for the past few months, 3 big shot plumbers couldn't even identify and Kareem got straight to it for less money. Fantastic job and fantastic finish!! Well done. My fiancé and I were in need of a short notice pluming inspection. The great crew at absolute rooter truly came through for us. Once the inspection had commenced I was able to shadow a very knowledgable  technician by the name of Kareem. Kareem was able to help me truly understand the problems at hand. My garbage disposal stopped working and so my kitchen sink wasn't draining at all! I couldn't stand the smell coming out of the plumbing!  Kareem came out and changed my complete disposal unit within 15 minutes! He was very friendly, professional and knew what needed to be done.  I'm extremely happy with Kareem and Absolute Rooter & Plumbing!

Absolute Rooter has been the first company we call when we need a plumber. They have fixed clogs, installed our water filters, among other things, and we are always super happy with them. Very honest and polite too!!!

Sigh. I never write negative reviews but...this company was calling through my home warranty. To summarize: They grossly misdiagnosed the problem, which would have cost me $289. To compare, another plumbing company diagnosed the same issue accurately, as much easier to fix, and as a $99 job.

Rooter offered a 4-hour window and did arrive within (at the end of) the window. I had two problems: toilets that kept running after flushing and 2 leaks in a bathroom sink.

The good part: They diagnosed a simple problem with the toilet (i.e. did not latch on additional unnecessary work) - the chain was too long, they shortened it, problem fixed.

It went downhill from there. For the bathroom sink (and I'm summarizing here):

1. They claimed they would need to create access to the leaking pipe. It didn't occur to me then (my fault, I'm a novice home owner) that something sounded wrong. The pipes were right underneath the sink and clearly visible and open. What did they mean by needing to create access? My suspicions were confirmed by the second opinion plumber I forced my warranty company to send out, who said the pipes WERE clearly accessible. Oh, and no surprise: Absolute Rooter told my warranty company it would cost $289 to create access. Of course, creating access wasn't covered by my warranty but the accurate diagnosis by the second plumber WAS covered. So this was a pretty consequential misdiagnosis.

2. They also claimed that the pipe was cracked because someone had overtightened it. However: The pipe started leaking only a few weeks ago. We moved into the house two years ago and haven't touched the plumbing in that bathroom. Ergo, it couldn't have been as a result of over-tightening. Why is such a misdiagnosis important? Again, the warranty doesn't cover such damage through human error repairs.

3. This may not matter to you if you're not trying submit an insurance or warranty claim. But the way it works, Absolute Rooter has to send a report to my warranty people who would then authorize whatever's covered. But AR submitted such a barebone report (according to my warranty) that they were forced to call back AR to clarify. But AR didn't pick up, warranty was waiting to hear back, and so on, and so on, and meanwhile my leak's not getting fixed. Essentially yet another sloppy job that made things much harder for me, the customer.

Incidentally, upon hearing all of this, the second plumber asked Sounds like that first guy was in a hurry. Did he come here on a Friday. Me: How did you guess?!? Rooter's plumber would have cost me an additional $289 because he might have been in a rush to get home. Not cool.

I came across Absolute Rooter & Plumbing because of an issue I was having with a leak in our bathroom. I recently bought a house and had a home warranty policy that put me in contact with them. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Kareem. To be honest, he hasn't actually fixed the problem yet but he came out and diagnosed the problem while my wife was home, it turns out that I have to have some tiles removed from the shower wall before he can fix the problem but what really stood out for me was that when he original came out he spoke with my wife and I didn't get a chance to question him about the repairs so they were unclear to me. I called him and he told me he would be over to go over any questions that I had. He did just that and more, he removed the shower faucet and the shower head and showed me exactly where the leak was. Not only that, he didn't charge me another penny to do so!! I have to remove the tiles so that he can fix the problem once and for all. If I have any more plumbing issue you can be sure that I will be calling Kareem. Thanks Kareem for going above and beyond!!

I am very surprised with all the 5-star reviews on yelp.  I called Absolute Rooter based on referral from Home Advisor to snake a washer drain that clogged up in my rental property.  My regular plumber Moe Zuleta with A-1 Rooter was unavailable, but he usually cleared this drain in 20 minutes and charged $50 .  

Kareem with Absolute Rooter showed up for a same-day appointment with a very nice Mercedes utility vehicle.  It goes downhill after that. He charged $129 minimum for service call which I reluctantly agreed to since he was already there. Remember, in the past A-1 Rooter only charged $50 to clear this drain.

I had to go back to work, so I left Kareem to complete the job with my tenant present.  Two hours later Kareem called saying that he wasn't able to clear the drain with regular 75-ft snake, and that the clog required a hydrojet cleaning that would cost $699 (but may not solve the problem) or for definite repair, he would need to do a pipe replacement for $2500!!!!

In short, I declined.  I called Moe Zuleta at A1 Rooter for the next day.  Moe came, snaked the drain open in 30 minutes and charged me $68 to fix the problem that Kareem Haddad couldn't fix without an upcharge up to $2500!  What a rip-off!  Afterwards, I looked at Home Advisor reviews and noted that several other customers had fallen victim to this bait and switch scam by Kareem.  Apparently this is his normal modus operandi.  

My advice: stay away from Kareem Haddad with Absolute Rooter.

P.S.  Kareem wanted me to pay the $129 even though he didn't do the repair.  I negotiated the fee down to $60 which he finally accepted.  BUT IT SHOULD BE $0 since he didn't fix the problem (which Moe Zuleta was able to fix easily and quickly for $68 charge)!

Kareem @ absolute plumbing is a beast... This guy can solve any plumbing issue without the salesmen pitch trying to up sell everything.. Very knowledgeable and affordable, honest plumbing. Will definitely use and refer to all.
