I have to thanks Brian for doing a very great job for us! He responded for help as quick as possible. Two days ago was a nightmare for us without AC! My AC suddenly the fans outside stop working. It's only come out warm air. I called so many places but they all were very busy since this is the hottest summer week so far. But he came in the next day as our convenience and fixed the AC within 30-60 minutes. Finally we get some cool air and happily for the summer! I would recommend Brian to anyone! He is very honest and care to the customers.

This is regards to BWR A/C. I had a new A/C unit installed 2 years ago, for 3 months I called BWR and told them it wasnt cooling the house. They'd sent out techs but still wasnt cooling my house. After 3 summer months of unusually large electic bills and warm house, Brian came out and fixed new A/C unit.
In December 2022 I had water damage due to poor install of condensor bracket on roof. Roof repair was $700. August 2023 more water damage due to secondary drainage pipe left sitting on attic floor.
BWR sold business to Absolute Airfow.

After a few hiccups with communication, the general manager gave me a call and we squared things away. They made good on their promises and they absolutely gave me the very best price out of the several companies that I called for a quote. They did not over sell and my equipment is top notch. Shout out to Chris who was the one who quoted me the system. He came through and ensured that I got everything I needed. Also, a big shout out to the team who installed the system. They were excellent!

I went through American Home Shield and BWR was assigned to fix my mother's split unit in FEBRUARY. Brian came out and looked at it and did not give me an update. Time and again I had to ask him what was going on and what is the status. Time and again he blamed the girls at the office and for the companIES that lost the part or was backordered (and yet never came). Feb, March, April, May, June, July. I had to chase him down weekly (my fault for not complaining to the American Home Shield earlier) to see what was going on.
Finally, last week I called AHS who escalated it to Contractor Relations and I really hope they pull BWR from their list of contractors. Brian is a very DISHONEST face of this company. If you cannot fix something in 6 months, why keep me on the hook? What does that get you? Just say you can't fix it and let someone else do it. I don't get it

Was having trouble getting cold air with my HVAC unit. Called BWR and they sent someone out the next day. Brian cane out on time, was clean and smelled great. They ended up servicing my air conditioning, changed a switch and added freeon. My air is blowing better than ever and I didn't have to replace my unit. Thanks so much. Brian came highly recommended, and rightly so! He was my second opinion since the AC repair was going to be costly. And it's been 105 the last few days.
He came quickly and had the problem diagnosed within a few minutes and it was NOT the problem the other guys had told me. Had I gone with the first guys, I would have doubled my price because eventually they would have figured it out. It was extremely dirty and was 7 gallons down in Freon because of a leak! Brian did what he has to to and we were up and running within the hour!

I am so happy with my HVAC service! Jay Magana arrived with a smile and positive vibe. I explained my issue with the A/C and he right away explained what the issue might be. Which was a pleasant surprise after having had a different HVAC company come and after 3 hours were not able to figure out what was wrong with my A/C. Jay was quick to get to work and did not make a fuss about having to crawl up to the attic to check the furnace. He kindly explained what the issue was and what needed to be repaired and got to work. My A/C is back on and with this heat, Jay was definitely a lifesaver. Definitely recommend Jay, good customer service, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! The Customer Service representatives are also very helpful, friendly and provided updates about the service. Valuable service!

Had the owner of the company come out after our AC unit wasn't cooling very much. This company was very responsive, confirmed the appointment a day before and we're very transparent with everything, weighing the pros and cons of all available options. We will definitely recommend BWR and will continue to use them in the future should anything else arise.

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would give this company an negative 5 stars if possible. We entered a contract with Brian Weaver of BWR almost 2 years ago. We contracted them to replace all ducting and remove asbestos in our home and install an air-conditioning unit. It was not until we started a kitchen remodel several weeks ago did we find out that Brian known as BWR never fulfilled his contract as he never replaced the ducts and did NOT remove the asbestos. We have now been living with asbestos blowing in our house for the past almost two years!!! When I asked Brian what went wrong, he said contact his lawyer. SHADY, SHADY, SHADY!!

In response to Mr. Weaver, we are not disgruntled we were ripped off by a dishonest, negligent and sloppy company. We encountered numerous problems from the inception of the install and we had to call several times about HERS testing, lack of airflow etc. We have NOT been able to use our unit so I'm confused why Mr. Weaver makes this statement that now runs beautifully. This is completely false. Just another one of his many misleading statements. Please take note, he does admit truthfully, that he failed to fulfill his contract and it wasn't until our contractor opened the ceiling that his negligence was discovered.

We needed three new A/C units and to complicate it, we needed them moved around to the side of the house (builder put cheap units in back of house where we want a patio) BWR came out and put new units in and moved them! They work well and our electric bill has gone way down because these units work efficiently !!

My A/C went out last Saturday. My husband and I have a home warranty and decided to utilize them to fix the problem. However, they advised it would take two business days to hear from a service company about scheduling an appointment. Meanwhile the temps were in the 100's. My house was 90 degrees inside. Needless to say it was miserable, so we decided to contact Total Comfort who had been servicing our unit over the last year. They previously quoted us a high amount to replace the condenser and I decided not to waste the money until we heard from our warranty. So, we made it through the weekend and we get a call from Lee's Heating and Air on Monday, and who have horrible reviews on Yelp. I wanted nothing to do with them. So I asked a friend if she had anyone she recommended and that is how we came across Brian and BWR. He came out Monday, gave me a reasonable quote and didn't try to sell me a whole new system. I had my new condenser installed by Wednesday. He was professional and didn't waste my time trying to up sell me. His team that installed the unit were friendly and quick. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the quality and quickness of BWR's service. Also, Lori from the office was very helpful and nice. Thank you Brian and BWR for saving me weeks of discomfort!!! I plan to give him all my future business.

BWR came over to assess discontinued heater and decided to unplug AC without telling us prior to that BWR wanted to have my husbands ssi# and bday to see if he qualified, meanwhile no quotes have been given yet. The owner said the AC and heater run together, when we purchased the home the house inspector and gas company declared the heater is the only problem so it was turned off but the AC was turned on. A second AC/Heating co. came over a few days after BWR and stated the AC is separate from the heating and he would turn on AC for us. This second company NOT BWR never asked for a ssi or bday after completing service and communicated their services in a professional manor.

Our AC was leaking due to bad engineering of the drain from whoever installed it when we bought the house. Robby initially thought it has to do with the lack of secondary safety switch, so I was quoted for the installation of the switch. On the day of the job, Robby spotted the main drain was designed poorly, so he re-routed the main drain free of charge. Result was great, Robby and his team was helpful and friendly during the job. Would definitely do business again if anything happens.

So happy we chose BWR to remove our 26 year OLD broken Hvac Furnace and replace All our old Ducting. What a Relief , to not only have something SO Clean but also to have Stepped it UP with an IWave Air Purifier.
Their work was timely, accurate, Precise, so Considerate and Clean. They removed the old one from the Hallway, and gave us a sweet new one in our Attic. We can Barely hear it, its SO Quiet. As a repeat customer,I unfortunately was not at the scheduled appointment, but my husband said he was punctual and very knowledgeable, however, he did not provide us with an itemized paid invoice/warranty of the service provided? If that can be emailed?
Also, our initial appointment was for your $88.00 summer tune-up/service and it ran more than an unexpected $800.00? Spencer said it was due to the cost of the Freon needed? He put in 2lbs? Was that accurate or was there a mistake in the charges?

These guys are great!!!! Came home from dinner and my air was running but it was not cold. I called BWR on my friend's recommendation at 10:00 pm. The owner Brian came right out and within 30-40 minutes my air was fixed. He replaced the fuse that went out and also checked out the unit. Totally awesome service and the price was great!! We had a terrible experience with Absolute Airflow. Our AC compressor was making noise when starting/turning off, had them come out to diagnose the issue. We were told that we would need a new compressor because the valve or gears were bad and couldn't be repaired. The price to put a new one in would be $7,500! He recommended not doing that but that we'd be better off buying a whole new system due to our current one being outdated. Next day I consult with another AC person who says the coils are just really dirty (see picture of how terrible it ended up being and what absolute airflow missed) and the sound may just be the internal pressure relief. We cleaned it and now problem is gone! All it needed was a cleaning. These guys will try to rip you off.

Service call review only. I can't say I've had any major work done by them, but I requested a simple service call I mentioned I thought my Mini Split AC needed to be recharged. Tech comes out. Looks at it, runs some tests only to give me an idk answer. Calls his manager on FaceTime. They go over a few things. My husband asks if he can just try to recharge it. So the tech tries says it doesn't work. Leaves me with a bill for 100 bucks for literally nothing. Says a certain part in the unit is broken because of faulty installation whole unit needs to be replaced. (The unit is brand new) I received no follow up about what part until I called the office 3 days later( they mentioned they'd be having issues about notes and other things with the tech they sent me.) why are you sending techs out with known issues? Anyway The unit is still under warranty I was hoping the warranty would cover it. Something in my gut was telling me this guy didn't know what he was looking at. So I called for a second opinion this morning. ALL it needed was a simple recharge. 30 minutes and 50 bucks later my AC is running perfect again. This place billed me 100 dollars for literally nothing and almost cost me another 1500-2000 on a new unit had I not asked for a second opinion from a different company. Can't say my experience was professional or helpful. This was bad business in my opinion.

I appreciate Rodney and Brian coming over to help diagnose and repair my cooling issue. Rodney was new to the company, but brought with him over 15 years of experience. I appreciate Brian (owner) for still coming out on calls and working alongside his employees to get the job done right. The best thing about BWR is that they are honest with their customers. It would've been easy to say, my forced air unit is dead and I need a entirely new unit. Would've probably been a lot easier to install a new unit as well. But the professionalism and expertise that BWR technicians possess is worth more to them then whatever makes the job easier for them. Rodney did an awesome job diagnosing the problem and knew right away the steps necessary to complete the repair. Brain was straightforward with me and laid out all the options that I had. Thank you BWR! Although it means that somethings broken when we meet, it's always a pleasure having you guys over and doing business with you.

Called for an estimate to unclog toilets in a rental property. They came out and told me they put a camera down a roof pipe and saw blockage. They cannot unblock toilets because I don't have a trap. Said they have to install one, which means chipping out my driveway and running a line from the house to the streets sewer system. Cost will be $5,800.00 and if I give him approval now he can rearrange schedule and start the following day.
After talking to people, I was told all houses have a trap, it's building code.
I contacted another plumber, he came out, located the trap, ran a camera, there was a root in pipe. He removed root and charged $240.00.
This place is a terrible, dishonest and trying to rip people off for things not necessary!

I had an issue with my primary bath toilet, as well as a guest bathroom shower draining slow. Airflow came out same day. Jose was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He put on shoe protectors to do the initial inspection. He went and checked out the plumbing from the crawl spaces under the house before making his recommendations. I will absolutely use this company in the future.

BWR is simply the BEST! We were told by another air conditioning service company that we needed to replace our A/C units. Come to find out, we just needed a minor replacement part. These folks are trustworthy and reliable, with friendly and professional technicians. We've used them two times since, with two different technicians, and our experience has been the same. They stand by their work, are reasonably priced, and provide quality service.

Don't even bother calling them to service your AC unit if your system is over 15 years old they will just say the system is to old and try to sell you a new one for $10k+

Had them come diagnose my 15 year old system cause it wasn't blowing cold air and they told me it was low on refrigerant and tried to charge me over $3k to fill it. Called another company a few days later and tell me why they fixed it for under $350. This company is a scam and will try to get you if they can so watch out. Btw I had to pay them $69 for no reason when they came out to look at my system for 10 mins

I met with the owner who was knowledgeable and able to provide me with information on the best system for my residence. BWR Heating & Cooling, Inc was very efficient. My air conditioner failed during the summer. I troubleshooted the issue to shorted out compressor windings. They came to evaluate the same day that I called in the summer, was able to provide a competitive quote on the spot with schedule, and kept me informed 24/7 with their automated system. I also received personal phone calls for appointment reminders. Less than a week, my entire A/C unit was replaced under 4 hours by a crew of 4. Very professional. A+! Definitely recommend!

I have a gas furnace that would shut off after 2 min. Called BWR in the beginning of December. The Techs were very nice but unable to figure out the problem. They changed the High limit switch(which was what was faulting) with no help. Told me that I needed an additional return added for air flow. Even thought they had the door open with filter out and the unit still shut off, they still said it needed an additional return. $600 dollars later I have the new return (with the wrong grill opening on it)and still furnace that won't run. They then said I needed an additional Register for another fee... I pulled the top off the coil and let the furnace have unrestricted air flow out of the unit and it still shut off. After that they just stopped coming said I need a total replacement of this 6 month old unit. 4 weeks and several appointments later they walked away from the job. Today, another company came out and discovered that there was the wrong limit switch installed and that was the reason for the unit shutting off. 2 1/2months with no heat and $600 later and the unit was fixed with a 5 dollar part. I picked BWR because its a local company, and the reviews were good. So, just my two cents... very nice people... Im sure this isn't the norm for every case but for me, it was a disaster.

Found BWR via a friend of a friend...Boy was it the best call we ever made! I had two OLD original units 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs and he kept both of them alive until we saved up the money to install two new units. Brian's repair cost on the OLD units were very reasonable and fair. When it was time to replace both units I called up Brian and he gave me a deal I could not refuse and both units were installed on a Saturday! Professional, courteous, responsive and just a plain good ole company and good people to deal with. I recommend them to all of my friends. Do yourself a favor and give them a call...you won't regret it!

Was looking for a new system and had a lot of questions, tried calling a few others and they all seemed too busy or not interested. I then called BWR and my call was immediately answered and all my questions answered. I had them come out look at my needs and give me a quote, the was very competitive and once we decided to go with them they were very helpful with setting up a time that was convenient for me. I needed a toilet fill valve replaced. I wasn't in the mood to do it so I called them for a quote. Their guy came by and told me it would cost $1,100 to replace the fill valve. He said for another $70 they could just replace the whole toilet. I asked him why he couldn't just remove the tank and put a new valve in, then replace the tank. He said they did not do that service because it might leak. I declined their offer and went to Lowe's and bought a fill valve for $17 and did it myself in 20 minutes. The toilet has been running great ever since. I would be careful before using these guys.

Wow you guys are as dirty as they come. Using fear to motivate a consumer to buy. It is a $17 part and a fast repair.
I was willing to pay $300 just to get it fixed but you tried for $2,000 or 1300 we said no - then you said $850 after that we asked for $300 you came back at $450.

Here is the best part - my neighbor came by minutes after you left. Fixed it in 10 minutes no charge.

The part cost $17 at AC Pro.
Cslb will be receiving a complaint on your license you are taking advantage of people that you think don't know better. I feel bad for the ones purchase your sleazy plan.
Enjoy my $69 for wasting my time. I would have paid a more than fair price to fix it but you guys are so over the top dirty I'd rather be hot for one more night and get an honest contractor.

I bet your techs all brag about how bad they stick it to there clients. This is worse that a used car sales business.

Brian was really great to work with. Was able to come the next day (even when it was a Sunday). The work was done promptly, price was honest and reasonable and came with a 6 month warranty. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry here on Yelp and within 16 hours, the AC unit was fixed. I would highly recommend them.

I called them today and I was told technician will show up from 3:00 to 4:00.
Then I got a call from them that the technician will arrive from 4:00 to 6:00.
Then they called me at 5:00 and told me the technician can not make it because...
Not reliable at all.

Omar & Adrian were FANTASTIC!! We had another of the big firms in the valley, who advertise a lot in Palm Springs, and they failed to respond to the specific request and my amateur diagnosis I had done by searching the web. They charged $400 to do, basically, NOTHING!

Omar understood exactly what I was explaining, went directly to the wiring problem and rewired the NEST thermostat and the termination point on our package unit. Only charged the $99 service call since is was a straight-forward fix!! And, they were very friendly and courteous!!

BWR is now our new go-to for all HVAC problems (we have one large package unit and 2 split units). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Brian G. and Dane have given me great service, they are honest and communicate the situation very clear and I feel they are being honest and genuine. WOW... I was so impressed with Brian and his team's ability to turn my 85 year young parent's 2400 square foot house into a ice box in under 3 days.
YES... 85 years young lived in the house since 1968 with no Air Conditioning. BWR's crew started the install Monday morning, my dad called me Wednesday afternoon on a 90 degree afternoon and said he was freezing. I was busting up laughing.
We had shopped for a company that could do the work and others said it was impossible to get equipment and we would be lucky to get it done by next summer.
BWR delivered in record time when others couldn't.

Had AC issues at 8pm on a Friday night during Labor Day weekend. A friend suggested I contact BWR. The gentleman I spoke with said he would send someone out the next morning. Two men showed up at 9:40am to look at my issue. They pulled a panel, determined I had a leak and told me I would either have to buy a new section (extremely expensive) OR have to replace my condenser unit. For 2800 total. I told him I didn't have that kind of money. He tried every possible way to convince me to have him do the work. When he finally realized I wasn't going to pay that kind of money he wrote me an invoice for $280. Of course, 180 of that could be applied to a new unit. The bill break down was $90 for parts, and $170 for labor (2 guys @ 2 hours- they were here for 50 minutes, one guy did the work while the talker called around looking for a local cheaper unit).

I called someone else after they left. That person saw no evidence of the dye I got charged $90 for. He did also see the leak. Took the too off my unit, saudered the leak, and recharged my unit. He was here for 1 hour, it was the same holiday weekend, and he charged me $150.

No wonder it is hard to trust anyone these days. I have half a mind to stop payment in the check and let him take me to small claims.

I have used BWR on several occasions. My air conditioner was out out during the hottest time of the summer and he made it here expeditiously. The owner personally attended the service call and was very personable and professional. The repair was completed successfully and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend BWR for ANY of your heating or cooling needs. If you don't have a repair to be done they can do maintenance work as well which I have discovered keeps my units working more efficiently.

Sadly, I have to write a negative review about this company. I have reached out to them multiple times via emails and phone calls to deal with a warranty claim on a tankless water heater that has failed multiple times and was installed improperly. I cannot get a response back. I have sent screen grabs of text message correspondence to the people they asked me to send to, I have followed up repeatedly and have not heard back.

Brian Weaver is a good friend and electrician, I have watched his business grow and become very successful. This due to his dedication to quality services and products. He came to my aid in servicing a 30 year old heater and bringing it back to life when my cash was limited and unable to purchase a new system. He arrived on time with all the right equipment and parts we needed. He worked quickly and did a clean repair. This gave us some great quality personal time to reminisce about his younger years. He also helped me in finding the right newer home and advised me what to look for in the home for heating and airconditioning. He indeed is a wealth of wisdom and experience. I highly recommend his services and valued experience.

Stay away! Beware . These guys are dishonest . DO NOT go through this company for HVAC.

You've been warned ! Stay away! Do not waste your $ calling them for a diagnosis and paying them $69

They are liars and quoted $2,500 for a job and lied on what needed to be done . No wires were even cut and the many hours of labor they said needed to be done was completely a lie.

Went with another company and 2 lbs of Freon and $200 fixed my issue!!

I knew they were dishonest! Don't trust this company that's out to get you . Unfortunately, this is how many of these guys run their businesses. Sad world we live in.

I have a split HVAC system with 2 zones. Upper and lower level on two thermostats.
About 2 months ago I had Nexgen come out and after they charged me over $1000 for parts on a 5 year old unit the problem was not solved. I had another company out as well that could not figure out the problem. After calling the home builder I found out about BWR. Skeptical, I called them. I had to wait a week for an appointment but it ended up being well worth it.
Efrain and Paul came over. Asked a ton of questions and got busy. Within 30 min he had a solution to my problem. Within 1 hour my system was fixed and I paid a small service call fee.
Wow.... Businesses like this still exists!
Efrain and Paul are 2 fine young men that really care about making the customer happy. I've been in a service related field for over 30 years and it's rare to meet people like this. Oh, he did mention that the company was good to him and treats their employees well. I could see it even without him telling me.
So for HVAC go to BWR and ask for Efrain and Paul. You may have to wait but you won't be sorry.
As for Nexgen. Now I know why you need giant billboards all over town.
