Ron Degner began working for small, independently owned plumbing companies right out of high school in 1994. He attended a four-year trade school during his plumbing apprentice period, and after completing the apprenticeship he passed the City of Cincinnati Journeyman exam.

As a journeyman plumber Ron continued working with small plumbing companies. In 2006 he joined a national plumbing chain as a field manager. After one year on the job he was promoted to general manager of a branch, a role he held for seven years before purchasing a national franchise location in 2015.

In 2015 Ron started a new phase in his career when he bought Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heaters, now Zest Plumbing and Drain. The company continues to stay dedicated to providing our customers with top-notch service at reasonable prices. With Ron's experience working for both independent and national chain plumbing companies, he is able to apply the best of both worlds to Zest Plumbing and Drain
