The owner does solid, quality work. We will be utilizing his services again. As w all trades I recommend you have 3-6 quotes before pulling the trigger.

Honestly wish I could give them a good review. They were my middle of the road quote when I was getting the exterior of my house repainted. The job they did was spotty at best, I will probably have to repaint sooner rather than later. The guys washed the paint out on the rocks in my yard and now they are blue seemingly forever. The guy bought middle of the road paint instead of the nice stuff and told me the other stuff was overpriced and not worth it. Well, considering how I'm seeing patchiness after a couple of months, probably was worth it. They painted my garage doors and missed giant sections on the side because they didn't open it before they painted. Just a bunch of cut corners. Not the worst, but I wish I had just sprung a bit more for other painters

I reached out to WSJ Painting last weekend and requested they stop by for a quote to have the cracks in our stucco repaired and then the entire exterior of the house repainted.  William responded to me via Yelp and advised he would be able to stop by the same day I requested the quote which was amazing.  I pointed out some of the larger cracks and he gave me a quote instantaneously.  He also explained the entire process from start to finish.  The whole quote process took a matter of just a few minutes and not at all inconvenient.  I will be honest and got a few more quotes from other businesses in the area.  Most were substantially expensive than what William quoted me and a handful were quite less.  I opted to use William and his crew at WSJ Painting for several reasons:  They have been in business for over 20+ years.  They are family-owned and operated.  He responded immediately.  He knows what he's talking about.  He's professional and left me a business card.  Needless to say, I reached back out to William the same afternoon I got the quote from him and told him to put my wife and I on his schedule.

He scheduled us just a couple of days later.  It was not an emergency by any means, but it was nice to get the job over and done with.  We've been saving our pennies to have this done.  Our house was built in '96 and it had never been repainted.  Parts of the exterior were splotchy and faded horribly by the harsh Arizona elements.  

They came out on the first day and power-washed the entire exterior from top to bottom.  The amount of filth that came off the exterior was amazing.  This process means the new paint is adhering to the house - and not a bunch of dirt.

The next day, the crew was back out bright and early to prep the exterior.  They carefully put plastic over all of the windows and doors.  They even applied plastic to half the driveway, sidewalks and back patio pavers to be sure no overspray was present anywhere when the job was complete!  They also began repair of all the minor surface cracks in the stucco (we had a lot of them!)  No joke.  These guys were at it from sun up to sun down.  

The following day, they were back on our property bright and early again to resume repair of the cracks in the stucco and also, to finish painting.  They painstakingly painted our trim white (per our HOA guidelines) and then blasted the exterior with a fresh, new coat of paint!  It was a toss-up between Arizona Brown, Desert Sand or HOA Beige... so we opted for the latter.  Needless to say, the house and exterior look great!  No more splotchy coats of half-assed paint.  No more cracks in the exterior.  It looks like brand new construction!  The crew removed all of the plastic everywhere and disposed of all materials on their own.  Extremely efficient.  Very professional.  Amazingly quick.  A job well done, indeed!

After getting bids from 4 different painting companies in March/April 2021, we decided to go with WSJ to completely paint the exterior of our home.  Just over 1 year later, it seems that this was probably a $3000 mistake.  WSJ was the lowest bidder using Dunn Edwards paints.

Without going into minute details, let's just say that the quality of the job, which was questionable while in progress, has sufficiently degenerated enough over the course of 1 year to warrant this review.

My entire property is xeriscaped, which means there is no watering near the structure, yet the stem walls are showing flaking and peeling without having any water (other than sparse rainfall) introduced to the painted surfaces.  The same can be said for much of the wood trim (eaves, patio cover posts, etc.)  The loss of paint is severe enough that a day or two of windy conditions will actually cause large flakes to peel and blow off the trim, ending up in the backyard swimming pool and the skimmer basket.

I had hoped that this would be the last time I would need my house to be painted before selling and downsizing, but there's no way I could sell this house in another 2-3 years without repainting.  

In retrospect, I should have paid a little bit more to a different contractor and gotten a quality job done. This was an expensive lesson to learn. The old adage you get what you pay for isn't always true. Sometimes you get less than what you paid for.  Caveat emptor, gentle reader.

Painted my block fence. Came when they said they would, did good work.

I needed our block wall repainted. I sent WSJ a message, and they responded immediately and set up an estimate the next day. They quoted a reasonable price and were available to do it the next day. I was really impressed by their reliability and their work was excellent. Highly recommended, I would definitely hire them again.

They did a great job painting the exterior of our house and were responsive throughout the entire process! Did a great job repairing gaps and cracks in the stucco and cleaning up the trim during prep as well.

Quick turnaround from quote to complete job in less than a week! Very honest and reasonable pricing, especially considering that we had to have wallpaper removed and texture added to several of the walls before repainting. Friendly service every step of the way.  They were great about not making a mess too, which I really appreciated.  Had wallpaper removed, primed and painted 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and huge living room all within 3 days, amazing!  Will absolutely use them again!

William gave me an extremely competitive bid within hours of my first contacting him about painting the exterior of our house. We were having repair work done first on our fascia and he indicated I could just call him a couple of days before we were ready for the paint crew and he could schedule our job. Sure  enough, he and his son came to our house a couple of days after I told him we were ready to power-wash the exterior of the house.

The next day, his crew arrived at 8 am sharp and proceeded to painstakingly protect every surface not being painted. They completed about half of the painting and returned at 7 am the following day to finish the job. Excellent work. There were just a few spots that needed additional attention and William and his brother appeared the day after to cheerfully take care of those areas.

All in all, an excellent experience for an outstanding price!

We hired WSJ to paint our new home back in June. They were very responsive and did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I was super impressed with how well they took care of our home during the job. Definitely the best experience I've had with a painting crew!

These guys were great. Recently had one roofer and an insurance contractor out and they could not find the leak. William came out found where he throughly it was coming from in 10 minutes gave me a reasonable bid with good quality products and said they could be back the next morning to fix the issue. They showed up the next day took care of business and cleaned up their mess. Going to use them in 6 months to coat the flat roof. I met William virtually as I'm in a different state and we coordinated everything over the phone.  His team showed up on time and painted all of my doors and baseboards to freshen up my rental property.  He guaranteed his work and said if anything didn't look right he would send his team to fix it.  Everything turned out great and I highly recommend him!

The communication have been great  he was very patient with me. Gave me his honest opinion when I asked questions. I am very happy with my paint job as I continue to My house projects I will be calling Charles back to help me complete them. When I reached out to him to set up our appointment it was almost immediate maybe two days later. He came out on a Friday morning and was finished by 5pm. He redid my living room and hallway or touched it up my kitchen and my bathroom and all I can say is that I'm so happy with the end product that I can cry! They came, they bid, I accepted...and now for the great part: The team at WSJ did such a professional job painting the exterior of my home! I'm blown away by how good it looks. There was a lot to do. First, they power washed the exterior. Got it ready for the new paint. The team worked hard all day every day till it was done. They taped, the covered things in plastic. It was fate! After reaching out to a few painters to get the exterior of my house painted with no luck, my next door neighbor was getting her house painted one day and I asked for an estimate from one of the painters.
