Sun King Fencing & Gates

We wanted a custom courtyard gate to fit the unique opening we had.   Ken came out and met with us.  He reassured us they could do custom work.  We checked out their catalog and liked the S and C scrolls.  We wanted to make sure the top was filled in and not left open.

The fabricator was able to make exactly what we imagined.

Ken was awesome to work with.  Any time I called or texted Ken was very quick to respond.The process was very smooth.   I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Wife and I were looking to cut down a block wall and install a large gate. this was our first foray into work of this sort, so after some searching I spoke with Ken at Sun King. He was very down-to-earth and easy to work with. His bid was reasonable and we did not have long to wait, maybe 3 weeks or so. They completed the job in two days and we couldn't be happier. It's exactly as we pictured. We should have done this years ago, for as easy as they made it. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately our Sun King gates did not withstand the test of time. The composite slats warped. Our neighbors got a gate about the same time and his still looks great. Then the RV gate fell down. I had to hire someone to put it back up because Sun King didn't even acknowledge our email. Jose put it back up. He did our neighbors gate. H op showed us what a poor job Sun King did when installing the gate.

Just went out to see my new fence. They did an excellent job. My fence looks great. They showed up, did the work, cleaned up and were done. Definitely I recommend them to anyone needed a fence and I will use them again. Ken is thorough. He goes over everything you need to know. Fair and honest pricing.

Ken and his team did a fabulous job on a gate we needed in our front entrance courtyard.  One side of the wall in the archway has an uneven curve compared to the other side. Ken was honest when he came out and pointed the flaw in our wall. We appreciated his honesty and moved forward with the placement of the gate. We are more than pleased sight the work Sun King did and would recommend them to everyone! Thanks again, Ken!!!

Sun King did an awesome job installing our pool fence. We were moving to a new home from out of town, and needed to have the fence installed before we got there. They were able to accommodate us, and the job was completed by our move-in date. And let's face it, a pool fence isn't the prettiest thing to look it. Sun King provided plenty of options to make it look nice, and it's the best looking home pool fence I've ever seen. It is well constructed, the lock works great, and we are completely satisfied with the service. I would definitely use them again in the future!

We love our new gate! Sun King was so easy to work with, quick and efficient, they installed the gate while we were at work! We've gotten so many compliments, one neighbor said we have the best gate on the block!  After researching prices, Sun King was the best.  We are very satisfied with the product and the customer care.

I had a front entry gate installed.  Job delay of 1 month, increase of cost by $600 from initial bid, and poorly matched gate color with existing iron work. He claimed no obligation to fix the problem after the gate was installed. I was not given all options for color during initial consult including ability to color match.

Company had good reviews on Angie's List but that was mostly with the previous owner. Owner is nice but lacks experience since owner has had business for only 1.5 years.

I couldn't be more pleased with my custom gate from Sun King Fencing & Gates.  From the first phone call, everything went perfectly.  Excellent communication, very reasonable pricing and exceptional service.  The gate exceeded my high expectations.  It was expertly installed and looks fabulous!  I get compliments from my neighbors all the time.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sun King.  Love, love, love my new gate!  And it was completed ahead of schedule!

Very pleased with the interactions with Ken and his team. Ken did the measuring, site visit, and estimate. He did come back once with his fabricator to evaluate fence placement along a pony wall in my yard, but I did not need to be home.  I had a fence installed in the yard to keep the dogs out of the pool area, so it take three ninety degree angle turns. The gate turned out beautiful.  Additionally, I had a new RV gate installed.  My gate opening is twelve feet across. Ken and his team fabricated exactly what I wanted which was having an unequal split, with a smaller gate ( with a deadbolt), that makes it easier to go in and out of the yard.  I have a keyed lock as well as the candy cane lock on the bottom.  There is even a spot to put a padlock if one wanted to lock the gate for a vacation.  The installation team of three arrived at 630 AM and were done by 1030AM.  They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. And did a great job.

They make a mistake but you will pay for it.    I called and spoke with Ken.  Explained that I needed 2 gates for a pool that was being installed therefore it needed to be able to be locked.  Handles were $95 extra for each each.  Problem....handles they put on did not have a lock so not pool compliant even though the estimate Ken gave me clearly said latch was to e one hole lockbox w/double sided wave handle.  I would have been OK with the incorrect handle if they welded 2 metal tabs with a hole so padlock could be put on each gate but there was none. Ken came out and replaced the handle - but not with lockable handle.  He replaces it with ONLY a deadbolt.  So now I have 2 gates are complaint with pool regulations but no handle to open them. He said he could put on handles with locks but it will cost me $350 for each ($700 on top of the $195 I already paid him for the handles)!!  What a scam!!!   I told him to put back on the handles that I all ready paid him for.  I will find a welder to put on 2 metal tabs so it can be padlocked.
