HISTORY
Customer Satisfaction and providing the highest level of service are my top priorities. I grew up in the plumbing industry, learning from my grandfather in a small town in Iowa starting at 10 years of age. I later started to work for my father as I grew more experienced doing jobs as my grandfather retired. I have been in plumbing now for almost 20 years, and this is my passion. I love to be able to solve people's problems and always being there when duty calls. I'm a family oriented man and I believe my clients are an extension of my family values.

I would give zero stars but that is not an option. They came to repair a septic backup. They charged us nearly $10,000, left our backyard a mess and we are still experiencing backup issues. At least a couple times a month my husband has to go hit the brand new septic pump with a pole to get it working again. They re-piped a broken pipe into the house but should have used a different setup bc now we get the excess gas throughout our house from the sinks and showers. Had they re-piped appropriately, that gas would escape outside. When we called about the continuing issues immediately after the repair we were told we needed a whole new leech field for $20,000. They also repeatedly ignored request for service receipts. We attempted to file with the ROC, but were unsuccessful with that. I tell everyone I know what a shady company this is. They are constantly looking for ways to up the price-gotta pay for those cool vans somehow I suppose.
Our sewer was plugged up and Rooter Ranger came out an hour after we called. They did a great job!!! They were quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them!!!

The men that came and did the work were great. But, dealing with the office to get invoices that the insurance company needed to reimburse us was a joke. spoke to different people in the office and were told that we would receive an invoice that would be broken down to satisfy the insurance company would be sent to us. So far, after 2 weeks, we still do not have the invoice. I would be wary of using this company.
my shower head wasn't working there was a mad drip and my led lights weren't working! Zach good job! 10 stars!

Professional. Good communication. And they came out to do an estimate on what I needed done. Quick and honest and reliable. What more can one ask for.
Called in the Morning for Service they indicated they would Show Up between 4 PM - 6 PM they never Showed Up or Called what a Waste of Time
I had a leak in my master bathroom upstairs and I wasn't sure what was going on. I needed someone fast so that I could have use of that bathroom again. Orlando was able to come that night and make an accurate and swift diagnosis of the problem. He came back the next day and had it all fixed. He was polite, knowledgeable, and was able to explain it to me so I could understand. Thank you Orlando!
I have had a very bad experience with this company. No outside water, master shower and toilet, washing machine, dishwasher that were all working before, no do not work. Over charged for poor job.
I called the company to unclog my toilet and shower stall , it costed 300$, after the snake service, it worked , however it clogged again the next day. I asked them coming back to drain one more time, they came but refused to drain, instead they offered us a 25000$ repair solution. I called a different company for second opinion. They drained and everything was working fine . I need a refund from Rooter Ranger but they refused . I m not happy with the work and the attitude. We might have settle in court

I had service people over to do an initial investigation of a smell, which turned into them recommending a camera scope of the pipes. They scheduled me and never showed up. I don't have time to entertain no shows so I ended up working with the next company that I had scheduled for the initial bid.
Do you want to be upsold, and WAY over charged? Want to spend unnecessary thousands? Hire this company and don't get other opinions or bids. Fortunately, I told them, after their 11,000 estimate, I needed to get second opinion, then got my problem fixed by another company for $400. Just their hydro jetting estimate was 5 times what I was charged by the other company.
Update: the owner contacted me about the above review and offered to reimburse me for the Hydra jetting expense I paid the other company. He also told me they had let go Jim, the field manager guilty of all the up- selling attempts. I am grateful for his efforts, and hopeful that other homeowners will no longer be scammed like Jim tried to do to me, so I offered to write this update but declined his monetary offer.
A two day job turned into 8 days. Then they tried to tell me I needed an additional 10K to 15K work done. I wish I had gotten a second estimate. They sub-contracted some of the work. Otherwise, only one person did all the work.
Armando and a colleague came out to assist me with very slow draining from my house. They we friendly, helpful and took care of my issue.

Late late late. Not just hours but days late. That should've been the first red flag but the decision wasn't mine. They will leave your house a mess with trash everywhere (inside and out). Which would be fine (although for the price you would think they would at least be somewhat respectful) and had they finished the actual job instead of putting off I wouldn't mind so much. Still waiting on that to happen. Save your money go with a company with integrity.
Router Ranger is the best plumbers that I've hired. I had a complex drainage problem and Orlando and Oscar were superb. They not only gave me one option to correct the problem, but multiple options. I highly recommend them. And on top of it they honored their $47 special without any hidden fees. I'm impressed.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE time with my plumber from here. Dushka was late to service my toilet and left me without a working bathroom for almost a whole day!! I am extremely unhappy and will be waiting on a response from a manager!!!
As. Realtor, I see a lot of plumbing issues firsthand. So I'm not quite sure where to start with this one for my own personal home. I tried writing a long review but, Yelp limits the number of words. :( So I'll try it in simpler terms.
#1: The agent that came to my house for their $45 water heater flush/plumbing safety inspection was inexperienced. He stated that my new water heater (2015) did not need flushed due to how new it was. He said my gas water heater was too old (based it off of a spec code found on the unit) and needed to be replaced and could not be flushed. When asked when he was going to flush one of the water heaters, he claimed that dispatch never notified him of that. That was the whole purpose of me scheduling the company to come out. He called his Supervisor and I explained the problem and what I had scheduled and the text message special. His Supervisor and another technician came out the next day and said that my old water heater was not that old. You just had to go to the company's website and enter the serial number and the date was actually 2011. When I asked the supervisor about flushing my newer water heater he said absolutely we can do that. Come to find out the inexperienced technician told his supervisor in front of me that he did not know how to do it and didn't want to get water everywhere. So the supervisor flushed it instead. The other technician that came turned my gas water heater down and instead turned it off. Resulting in cold showers the next few days. A quick Youtube video showed me how to turn it back on and I was back in business.
#2. Everything the first technician looked at in my house needed fixed/replaced (things that were previously fixed and left water stains or I could do easily myself). He said my guest shower was clogged because there was water sitting in the drain. When his supervisor came out the next day, he told the technician that it was not bad because it was due to the P-trap. Which is something I already knew.
#3. Price gouging by the supervisor at his discount for installing a tub drain, fixing a pool check valve and trying to get me to high pressure clean my drainage lines. I was quoted $13,000 to have a drain put in for my bath tub, pool valve replaced and lines high pressure flushed. I have a sink in the location where the tub would go so this was a part of the quote. No one asked if we would remove the sink cabinetry and floor tiles. Which we planned on doing ourselves along with hiring someone to frame the tub. The tech made the whole process sound worse than it was. The pool check valve was found to leak where it was supposed to by the Supervisor but, needed a new b-nut/valve assembly due to the leak on the faucet. When they went to run a camera down the drain pipe by my laundry room the camera came up with some sand. This resulted in the high pressure flush being added. I had another trustworthy company come out with a supervisor I personally know firsthand and he quoted me $2,900 for the tub drain/pool valve replacement. That is a HUGE difference. The sand in my drain is because of the washer and our riding our CanAm through the desert, getting dirty and then washing the clothes in the washer. Something I had not thought of until the other company's supervisor explained it to me and asked some questions to troubleshoot the problem.
I honestly feel like I may have gotten taken advantage of because, I am a female and inexperienced with major plumbing repairs, etc. I gave them two stars because, they do show up on time and present themselves in a professional manner. However, be careful if they are quoting you on something. My gut told me to seek other quotes from other companies and I am glad I did.

Called Rooster Ranger early Monday morning to unclog a toilet. They said they'd be there between 2 & 4. At 3:45 I started making calls. Got the office twice & the second time the man said he was going to call & yell at his technician to call me. Nothing. The last 2 times I called before 6pm I got the answering service. STILL no call!! If I could give less than one star I would. Got someone else coming this morning.
These guys a great job they were very polite explained every thing and price was reasonable and the work was thorough. I felt comfortable with the technicians and they explained everything. Jim the manager quoted a price kept it and the monthly payment is less than my water bill. Really!
PLEASE BE VERY AWARE!!!!! Modern day scammers. Had rooter ranger come out a few weeks ago to help with a shower backing up. So we arranged to have line snaked thinking old pipes just needed a little cleanup. Well that didn't go to well as the gentleman was not able to snake line. I Was told that he was hitting something that didn't feel right and he didn't want to get snake stuck in the line as that would cause bigger problems... So he suggested we camera line but don't worry we will just do a bundle package to save you some money for snake and camera option. Ok I said as I would not mind seeing pipes condition and what's causing clog.
Now the boss shows up with camera to evaluate what's going on in pipe. Mind you we are on a roof in the sun with a camera that did not have the best image. Well we made it down to the clog in line and was told line was broken. He tried multiple times to get camera past point but it did not pass. So with that being said he gets camera up to clog and said its your pipe broken!!!! So now panic mode sets in for me thinking I way I need my bathroom shower draining. So let's camera all lines while we are here so no problems in future. Before doing that we went to master bathroom to locate where camera won't pass. Right in the middle of our new bathroom floor!!! So back to roof the examine other pipes. Got no good news there either. All pipes need to be hydro jetted and epoxy coated from what I was being told. While wrapping up camera stress kicked in ass I knew things were not looking good. Now for the hard part what to do to fix everything. Boss came back with the book!!! $4500 to fix pipe under new bathroom floor. Just to fix pipe. Then another 15k to jet pipes and epoxy but to do that you need to add a clean out for another $1700 and we can get start tomorrow on the clean out he says!!! I'm still in shock from the 23k quote and he's already planning job! I told him I needed to speak with wife to see how we want to go about things. Made my payment of $247 and festered for next week waiting for second opinion. Finally Drain medics came out and truly saved the day. We re ran camera in pipe and found the supposed break see photos . Rooter ranger was ready to rare my bathroom apart for no reason.!!!! Shirt was clogged in pipe from previous project. See photos . You get the point by now. Called to get our money back and they have ignored wife's phone call 4 times now. Please see BBB for further complaints. This needs to stop .
This company is a joke. I should have looked at other reviews and gotten other quotes but we needed the issue fixed and they were the only ones that were able to get to us the same night of our issue. Turns out we needed a pipe burst or so they said. Now I'm not even sure anymore. Said it would be 20,000 dollars which several family and friends said it seemed too high but again we wanted it fixed ASAP. Turns out we should have just called someone else and maybe saved a lot of money because what they said was supposed to be a week long job has now turned into 2 weeks and counting. They're almost done or so they say but we have had to deal with a lot of stressful things this whole entire time. They don't communicate. They don't show up on time. They say they will show up between 9-11 but then dont show up until 3 or 4 in the afternoon, work for like 2 or 3 hours and leave and then do the same exact thing the next day. We were left without water for several days, meaning no toilet, shower sinks or laundry. I called and spoke to a manager who assured me we would get out toiket and shower back, which seemed to have helped at first, the guys still showed up very late, but stayed longer than they had been to get the toilet and sink back installed and worning but then just went right back to being late and only workinf for a couople of hours. Then, they broke something with the hot water line so we were without hot water on half of our house including out washer, and I cloth diaper my 20 month old toddler so hot water is needed to wash her diapers. It took them abother several days to fix this. Now they are almost done or so they say and honestly im wondering if the job has even been done correctly. I will be getting in contact with the ROC and having them come double check the job and then I am going to be asking other companies how much they would have charged and see if im being screwed on an overpriced job that wasnt even done in a timely manner and by a company that didnt seem to give a shit that a family with two children were without water for several days because they couldnt get to our house on time and kept leaving and then coming back several hours later just to work another hour or two, get hardly anything done and then leave for the day.
Not to mention when I spoke with the manager the first time, I called the number he said was his personal number and I could call any time, i got a voicemail for some woman instead of him who I think was also a manager, asked them to call me asap so we could talk about how unhappy i was and wanted this job to get done, and i never heard back from anyone, so obviously they arent actually willing to help their customers out.
If I find out they didnt actually fix the job or they did a job that wasn't necessary, I will be making this a legal matter with this company.
Save yourself some stress and don't use this company.

Pros:
1. I appreciate the friendly help I got from Orlando and his associates. I had root problems that blocked the sewer line.
2. They removed the tree, replaced the sewer pipe section, and make everything look great again.
3. They explained everything as they were progressing and charged a reasonable price.
4. After the repair, the water pressure in the house increased which probably caused a drip in one of the showers. Rooter Ranger replaced the cartridge, which stopped the leak, at no additional charge.
Cons:
1. Due to other job demands, they were not there on the days and times promised. But, they kept in contact.
2. When digging the trench, they cut the Comcast internet line, so we were without service for almost a day. But, they offered to pay for any Comcast charges. Fortunately, Comcast didn't charge us.
Luis tried to scam me of $1,400 for a simple fix that I was to lazy to do, He said I have high water pressure(never clarified the pressure measure) was explaining all the cutting he has to do and tried to pressure me into doing the job now because he has a lot of clients
I measured the water pressure my self and it was 50PSI which is normal. Luis how do you feel scamming Tucson Residents ??? NICE TRY
We have a bathroom we are adding in the basement and a new water line to be installed to the kitchen sink. The 2 Rangers were here 10 days ago - they were pleasant and said they'd get an estimate written up and be back in touch. TEN days ago. We even called the company after 7 days and were told they'd be back with us. Nothing. It's fine if they don't want to do the work, but for heaven's sake, say so. No response AT ALL leads to negative reviews...
I don't have enough thank you's to offer all of these guys!!! Especially Vince Galgano for having the kindest heart and making this happen for us. I have a very immuno compromised child at home, and we were surprised with a home filtration system!!! As a mom this was my one dream for my household to keep my kids safe is to have clean and safe drinking water. Everyone was extremely professional, informative, quick, efficient, and just so very kind. Hands down these are the guys to go with!! Our family can't thank you enough!! Highly highly recommend this company to everyone if you want professionalism and just truly kind people.

I had a great experience working with Orlando on replacing a garbage disposal. First off, scheduling with Rooter Ranger was simple and quick. Orlando came out the same day to check it out. He wore booties and a mask which was super thoughtful for the customer. After looking at the garbage disposal he leveled with me on the options and what they would cost. He was honest about being able to fix my garbage disposal but letting me know that the size of the disposal meant it would clog up more frequently. I ended up getting a replacement and a day later Orlando came by to install it. He finished the job in less than an hour and even was nice enough to take all the boxes from the new garbage disposal out. It was a good experience and I would certainly call on Orlando again.
I rarely need to call a plummer. This particular early morning, both our toilets were plugged. I found Rooter Ranger the day before online and they had a $47 special for line clearning. So when I called them, you are connected to a National call center. The only problem I have with that is they tell you the technician is finishing up a call and when call you back right after this call. Well it took me calling them back 3 times (hour apart). Finally this great young man, Austin, called and said he was 30 minutes out. He spent 2 1/2 hours trying to clear out the line. He called his Boss (Bob) who had a camera machine and within several minutes, our lines were clear. Outstanding customer service (Covid-19 awareness) and only charged us $47. I highly recommend Rooter Ranger for ANYONE that needs plummig problems.

I am in the middle of terminating a lease on my rental property, so it was especially unwelcome to receive a phone call from my tenants on Christmas Eve saying the kitchen sink was backed up--even worse to hear they tried to fix my 60-year-old pipes with commercial-grade Drano. I immediately started looking for a plumber that could come on such short notice, and Rooter Ranger was the only company that not only was available same-day, but didn't charge overtime or holiday rates. Turns out the pipes are original galvanized steel so they need a lot of TLC, and so a flush was recommended to clear the leak. The prices were reasonable so I agreed. These guys are total rock stars--it ended up taking three visits instead of one (mostly due to my tenants' refusal to allow plumbers in until I put my foot down) but the job was finished and the sink works well. Once I move back into the home this year and make renovations, I will call Rooter Ranger again for the next round of repairs. THANK YOU!
I'll be generous and give at least two stars since the first individual we dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable, however......
Our kitchen sink was clogged and we contacted Rooter Ranger to help us out. They arrived when they said they were going to and were very helpful but needed better equipment to get the job done so they rescheduled for the next day to arrive between 10:00 and 1:00. By 2:00 no one had showed up and so we called the business and they said would contact dispatch. By 5:00 we hadn't heard anything again. Second phone call was made and they said that the job was marked done, and we reassured them it had not been done. They later confirmed, it was their mistake and they rescheduled for the following day for 9:00-11:00.
So following day arrives and guess what... nobody shows up again. We call around 11:30 and they say their current job is running long. While waiting we went ahead and reached out to another company as our sink was almost overflowing and smelt awful. This new company showed up within an hour and finished the job within another hour.
We understand that things happen, but we arranged our days for someone to be home and sat waiting for two days without anyone showing up and communication only existed because we initiated it.
Very very very frustrating and inappropriate for any business to work like this.

Last July my husband just got out of the hospital from heart problems. So when our kitchen sink plugged up, he wasnt able to try to fix it himself. We heard Rooter Ranger ads all over the radio (dont hear them anymore), so we called them. They found so much wrong. Roots in the lines were said to be the problem. They quoted us $7289.00 to do a lot of work which I could never see being done. There was one guy with a shovel doing all the work for a day...and a little more digging the next day. Then a truck came to drain half of the septic tank. That was it. $7000. for one guy and a shovel to do all this work. I thought I would see a big machine of some kind with what they wanted to get this done. They talked like it was a big undertaking. Anyway, normally I would get more opinions but with my husband having heart problems, I just wanted it done. I kind of felt like they were taking advantage of the situation. No more Rooter Ranger..anyone but them. WAY OVERPRICED. They did knock it down to $6560. after my complaining. Still a lot of work for one man and a shovel!!!
Call these guys before anyone else, Frank was awesome. I made the mistake of calling another company first. The answering service said someone would call me right back, an hour later that call never came so I called Rooter Ranger instead. I was called right back and they were very quick to respond. Frank the technician took the time to assess how my drains worked so that he could save me money by not having to pull the toilet up. Most other plumbers would have just pulled it up and charged us the extra charges. I will not hesitate to call Rooter Ranger again, great service, great quick response time and extremely friendly help.
washer rinse cycke was draining into kitchen sink- called rooter ranger about $49 special. Luis never trued to unclog the drain. Instead, he tried to upsell me on hving drains hydro washed for 600-$800.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I had three different plumbers come out, the last one was supposedly a supervisor. He charged me 1,181.00 to do a hydrojett that was not done ( I went with a different company and they showed me the camera evidence of no hydrojetting) I tried several times to contact the company to request a full refund, but it wasn't untill I posted a one star review on yelp that I finally got a call. They said they fired that plumber and gave me a full refund. However, the owner lists 70 years of combined experience, but this is a less than six year old company. When I checked at the better business bureau they don't rate the companies based on their reviews (and they have some negative reviews). So I would say, they are concerned about their ratings, yet in good conscience I cannot recommend them as a reliable, professional, or knowledgable company.
I was told to expect the plumber sometime between 7:00am and 11:00am. I got up early but was told by the company that the staff was in a meeting and that they would start service calls after that (they couldn't have let me know that no one would be showing up until at least 8:00am?). At 10:00, I was told that they'd be at my house in an hour. Sorry - my time is too valuable to wait a full four hours before someone actually shows up. Needless to say, I cancelled that appointment.
Austin did a great job with our drain repair. We ran into an issue with our camera inspection & Kevin did a great job as well with communication & solving the problem. Would recommend their service as they were prompt and diligent with customer needs.
The same Plumber came at 1am unannounced and was extremely hostile and rude he made the clog in my drain worse and demanded 350 dollars to unclog and using a camera for pipe mocking me over the price I paid with the f word my house is flooded and don't know that I will contact the bbb and let them know my experience
Guys, save yourself the time and money and do not use this company. They recommend we pressure washed our pipes for an obscured amount of money.... absolutely insane, we had FOUR other plumber come out and they quoted us half the price or less! Do not use them!
Very responsive, excellent service. Had a clogged toilet and sent out an inquiry for quotes. Within minutes I heard back. I called in and Shawn was here first thing this morning. Very professional and polite. Great to work with. Highly recommend and will use again in the future!

We had a plumbing emergency -- a clogged toilet that didn't respond to a plunger. We called our normal plumbing company, but couldn't get a live person and the earliest appointment on the on-line scheduler was tomorrow evening. So, my daughter picked out a plumber on-line -- Rooter Ranger who had good reviews. When I called, they had a real person on the line, who was able to send someone out right away and then sent me emails and texts to follow up. Shortly after that we got a call from Pablo that he was on his way. Got here within a half hour, which was after hours around 6:30 pm. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Wore a mask and booties when he entered the house. He got the toilet working within minutes and when I asked him about whether or not we should root out the whole line (which we've had to do in years past) he took the time to assess our situation and discuss the pros and cons. He felt it wasn't necessary but said he would if I wanted it done. I was glad he didn't try to talk me into an expensive and unnecessary procedure. He explained things clearly and was really great! And the price was extremely reasonable. Would definitely use this company again!

They had to go through the roof because the main line was blocked. The unclogging was 350 but they told me ways to get up to code with the sewer and a possible danger of electrical that we had.

Worst experience ever. They showed up when they wanted to and were horrible at communicating. Getting any information on the plan of repair was like pulling teeth and the information I got was not accurate. It was disappointing and I will not be contacting this company ever again.
They came out when they said they would and the guy was so nice! He went above and beyond! I don't think I've ever trusted a plumber more! Super recommend these guys!

I spoke to a manager Charles who took care of the issue and followed up with me about refunding the questionable service i am satisfied with this. I have used them very successfully in the past to clean out blockages.
Gavin was fantastic and respectful of my budget and needs. I appreciated the focus on the immediate need and the balance of the budget with future fixes we could get done. Luis and the team were very knowledgeable and completed the work neatly and quickly. Letting me know what was needed and why helped me feel comfortable with the whole process.

I called on a Sunday morning with a stopped up kitchen sink. They had someone over within two hours. Sean was professional, friendly, and got the job done. Prices were affordable as well. Very happy with the service.
This is the second time I've had these guys to fix a drain. ( different drains) John and Luciano were amazing. They were able to give us a complete breakdown of everything that is wrong with the pipes and what needs to be done to get the issue resolved. I hope to not have anymore plumbing problems, but if I do, these guys will be who I'm calling. Thank you
I had a serious backup in our master bedroom toilet. We called RooterRanger not knowing what the problem was going to entail. Plunging didn't seem to do anything. Luis came by on a Saturday evening. I figured it would be astronomical in price for weekend after hours service. Luis explained that depending on the circumstances and what is entailed would be the determining factor in price. He was able to snake it and had it fixed in five minutes.
The service was great, Luis was friendly, clean cut and presentable. That's an important factor when one allows strangers into their homes. The price was beyond fair and reasonable. I will definitely call them again.

I have not met such a dedicated, determined, and conscientious person as Dennis of Rooter Ranger for years. I just came back from our office. This young man was so good I would steal him to work for my company. I'm just back from helping him pack up his van at 10:45 pm. This fellow was a bundle of energy, commitment, skill and talent coupled with old fashioned humility. Everything he touched was perfection, despite the insane plumbing we did not know about our office restrooms. NOBODY works like this fellow anymore.
Neither he nor I initially realized our office building's the plumbing was insane, when I bought the building several years ago. Our original plumbing resembled TinkerToys connected by somebody on LSD after digging it out, much to my despair.
I used Yelp to find this company. I have rarely had such commitment, energy and commitment from ANY company for ANY thing by a singular employee. It was cute this younger guy had my same first name, as Dennis is not a common name especially for younger guys--but not in my generation. Yes this was an unanticipated expense, but it was clear that the original work for our office had a plumber on LSD. Dennis of Rooter Ranger absolutely figured out why we had problems, which was clear to me as no BS.
More importantly, he worked like a demon to fix everything, and tidied up things late at night. I wish the rest of the world was like this, which is the same pride I have for y own work. I cannot speak for Rooter Ranger as a whole company, but if Dennis their plumber is like him--don't call anybody else.
Gave us an excellent quote to fix a leak in our bathroom and fixed everything up with no issue. Highly recommend, workers can be a little more friendly.

I have never used Rooter Ranger in the past, but I recently had a back-up in my walk-shower. We had a tech come out and access the situation but was unable to clear the blockage, and he referred us to a supervisor. Jay Sandoval and his technician John came out and, within 30 minutes, had the blockage cleared. Their sense of urgency was top-notch as well as their professionalism. Not only were they able to provide a solution, but they also educated my wife & I on how we can prevent issues like this in the future as well as recommend products to aid in the preservation of our drains. I can't thank these two professionals enough for their expertise & incredible service!!
