We had a clog/backup of our main sewer line, and with a new baby in the house, we needed a quick response. Since it was after 5pm, many plumbers were already closed, or slow to respond. Gerald responded to my first message within 4 minutes and was on his way within half an hour. He was already working on the problem before most others had even responded to my inquiry. Less than two hours after I submitted my quote request, Gerald had the immediate problem resolved. He showed me the camera view of our situation (included with the work, not an additional charge), identified potential future issues, and explained what would be needed for a long-term solution. He never used any sales tactics, which I appreciate. He responded quickly, did the work, explained the situation, and was on his way. All in all, a great experience. GMR will be our first call for any plumbing issues in the future.

If you need a plumber, Jerry is definitely the guy to call! Not only did he answer my call sounding ready to go at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning when I was frantic about a sewage gas odor permeating my entire home, he spent 20 minutes on the phone with me calming my fears and going over the possible causes. He also found time to fit me into his busy schedule and suggested we replace our drain pipe before paying him to take the toilet apart or do any expensive testing. When I told him my husband could do it, he encouraged that we do it ourselves if we can and told me what we needed to get.

He was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and trustworthy and took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand as I have no idea about plumbing! I highly recommend calling Jerry for any of your plumbing needs, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Oh yeah, and so far, replacing the drain pipe has done the trick!

I called GMR on a Saturday when I had an active water leak slowly flooding my downstairs. After getting much higher quotes from other plumbers to even come out to look, I called GMR. They were very helpful and had a plumber at my house in less than an hour for a reasonable rate. Austin was very nice and helpful. He helped me locate the leak quickly and determine what was wrong. We were able to make sure that no more water was spreading in my downstairs. GMR is now providing me with two different solutions to fix the problem long term. Their punctuality and great customer service means I will definitely use them again in the future.

I called GMR plumbing around 5pm after receiving a high quote from another business referred by my home warranty. They were highly recommended by a neighbor. After I spoke with the owner who was super professional, I found out that the other company was charging us for a new water tank and labor however our tank was still under warranty so we should receive a new one for free. This was a savings of $900! The tech showed up for service the next morning and within a couple of hours, I had a brand new tank and hot water. I am very happy that I contacted GMR and will only use them going forward for plumbing needs.

I have an older home in Tempe with pipes that are original to the house. So when the sink wouldn't drain, I called GMR. Jerry came out and removed and cleaned out the pipes under the sink, replaced the useless disposal - all the while showing me the sediment in the pipes and the progress along the way.

He was thorough, neat, kind, honest and professional. He broke down all of the costs - time and parts and it was extremely fair. I asked that he come back to remove the remainder of the pipe to the outside (cracking and ~60 years old) - which he did. His work is meticulous and he cares about it the way you care about your home. He's absolutely the kind of contractor/person you want to to work on your home.

My Garbage Disposal stopped working Sunday evening before Labor Day. I got on Yelp, found several plumbers and sent out emails. Several responded initially wanting more information, which I then provided. However, GMR was willing to come out the next morning, on a holiday to take a look at my disposal. Furthermore, he was willing to cut me a deal, depending on how long and what work was needed to be done. When he arrived Monday morning, he was on time, quickly fixed my disposal, showed me what was wrong, how I could fix a similar issue in the future and we were done. Prompt, courteous, and fair are great qualities for a service contractor and I'll be sure to call GMR again for my plumbing needs.

The front lawn was a little soft. Suspected a leaking water pipe from the meter going to the house. I gave Plumbing Express a call and they dug up the lawn to expose a leaking corroded galvanized pipe.

Called several plumbing companies for quotes since it was going to be an expensive job to repair. Some companies were not equipped for the job since the piping went under the concrete front patio (need a concrete saw and jackhammer). Others gave me a lowball offer without asking many questions. Others wanted way too much.

They finished the job in a day after getting the area blue-staked. They tried not to damage any plants. Replaced the concrete they removed. They took any trash generated with them including excess dirt.

Very happy with the job. They were very knowledgeable about the latest techniques in plumbing.

My sink was backed up, not pretty. I had attempted to solve it myself, but accomplished nothing but getting covered in garbage water with scraped up knuckles.

GMR responded quickly (same day) and had a fair price. On top of that they installed a clean out port under my kitchen sink to make future jobs faster and cheaper.

Jerry is as honest as they come. I told Jerry what I needed to have done and figured at least 3 hours to do it properly. Sure enough, all done at exactly 3 hours. I needed a new valve, handle and faucet installed for my shower. After getting an outrageous quote from a big name plumber here in the valley I went to YouTube to see if I could do the job myself. After watching many videos it was clear that this job would be well beyond my scope of expertise. The last video I watched was exactly what I needed done. In the video, the guy doing the Job said he was at a house in Gilbert AZ. I immediately looked at the video info to see if there was any company info and sure enough there was. I called and and talked to a gentleman and told him about the video I saw. Turns out he was the guy in the video and also the owner! I explained to him what I needed done and the crazy quote I got from a big name plumber and he was able to quote me a VERY fair price. Not only did he give me a great price but he also sent someone out the next day to get the job done! This company did an amazing job and I will definitely be using them in the future!

Well they were hit or miss as far as cleaning out clogged pipes. On two occasions they needed back up sent , one time the next day. They located a issue with a clean out and we waited two weeks for a quote. The plumber at the house said I could save some $$ but doing the excavation our selves so we had to wait another week to get the new quote . Now I have a question about this in accurate quote and no response from them in a month after multiple attempts. Now if you call it just rings and rings. Well at least for me maybe. Lol.
To the owner, Don't contact me. Have had businesses do this and it make it worse.

The request for several quotes were due to Not receiving two original quotes like was agreed to from the start. It was his idea for us to save $& by doing the digging.

All I expected was communication and never got any in over a month until I make a public complaint? As well as a insult on my willingness to pay?

Jerry and his team are awesome! I was able to get in contact through Yelp's Request a Quote feature and explain my plumbing issues via the Yelp messaging platform with Jerry a couple weeks ago. He was quick to respond and had someone come the very next day. His team was able to assess a major blockage in my bathtub plumbing and fixed the issue as well as an additional request I had in the same visit.

I was also having an unrelated issue with my laundry room plumbing and called him Friday night and Jerry himself came out Saturday to fix this issue. I like that I was able to send him pictures via text to explain and receive an estimate. Great work and really happy with the excellent communication and use of Yelp's tools.

Had an unexpected leak in our laundry room the day after moving into our new home. GMR responded quickly with a quote and even better were able to come out quickly. Our valves were very old and uncommon so we were unable to get the repair done then and there but they were able to stop the leak and cap the lines so we would have use of the water. THESE GUYS SAVED ME! (Wish I could give 100 stars)
It's Saturday afternoon and the waterline to the fridge busted!
Long/Short This house is across the street from my Fathers house.
The man that used to live there passed away and his son who I grew up with lives in North Carolina, so he is selling the house and I am watching it.
I'm taking care of the pool the yard you name it, everything!!!! letting people in the house etc.
So my friend the Owner of the house said for all the work that I've been doing go ahead and take the refrigerator the washer and dryer for my fathers house!
He's got really old stuff and this stuff and this is a lot newer than my dad's.
So that's what we did and that's when we discovered the leak in the line that the fridge used to make ice!
I'm sure the leak had been there for sometime etc. etc. but I called GMR PLUMBING and spoke directly to the owner Jerry!
He sent Richard right out!
it took a long time to find the line thing because these houses are so old and weird!
But he found it and he fixed it!
Richard was awesome!
BTW I had to pay for it!!!!!
Not the seller! Not the buyer! Not some rich guy!
I had to pay for it!!!!!!!
But these guys helped me out!
And I am incredibly thankful!!!!!!!
On the upside, I found a new plumber!!!
I will tell anybody and everybody about GMR PLUMBING!

When I couldn't get the pilot light to ignite on my ancient gas-powered water heater, I sent the call out for help/estimates via Yelp. Jerry with GMR was the first to respond, within ten minutes. He was able to schedule Robert to be at my house within an hour. Robert spent some time trying to get the pilot to light, but to no avail. Repair was not a viable solution economically, and with the age of the water heater I decided it was time for a new one. Jerry had Robert and Austin out at my house the very next day, and a new water heater installed by lunch.
I can't say enough about how fast, fair, honest and easy this transaction went. It was the epitome of a clean install. Jerry was completely accommodating and flexible, and understood/respected the urgency of the matter. Robert and Austin were quick, and thorough, very knowledgeable and were able to work within a limited space to get our heater installed and running perfectly. Everything was included in the install, there were no nickel-and-dime tactics for extra parts, and no pressuring sales tactics to up-sell me on this or that. They did provide options to add on to the basic install, but made it abundantly clear that the options were not required and that it was totally up to me with no pressure. Special shout out to Robert for being so cool with my dog Raven, who is a rescue and barked her head off basically the entire time he was there.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND contacting GMR for any plumbing needs. I will definitely keep their info handy.

First off - I called him same day to come give me a quote and he came out as the last visit which was late and he still came. So nice about it and said it wasn't a problem - even looked at another issue I had and gave me advice about how to fix it without costing a bunch of money.
When he came out to fix my issues he went over what the problems were and found I had a 2nd issue. It took him 2x the amount of time, but he still finished both the tasks and did a wonderful job. His pricing was very fair and his work was well worth it. I would recommend him to anyone that asked me. If you need a great plumber who is honest and gets things done - Jerry will take care of it.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night due to a busted fastener. Since we have used GMR Plumbing before for new washer valves we had their handy magnet with their contact info. We called and they were able to come out and quickly fix our issue. Affordable fast service. They have changed their company name but same great service! These guys are very quick in replying to my messages. I wanted a kitchen faucet replaced so I went and got a quote from every nearby plumbing services I could find on yelp. Not only were they the cheapest, they were also able to get someone to come replace my kitchen faucet the next day and it was a well done job too.

My renters had a plumbing problem and I called GMR and they were out there right away and fixed the problem, both of them. One half the house was a simple clean out, but they had to go above and beyond to find the problem with the other half of the house. We needed to replace the valve in our guest bathroom shower and realized after a while that it was too big of a job for us to do. It had been in place for far too long and was so corroded we couldn't get it out despite our best efforts. We called plumbing express (after hours) and they were here within the hour! They were able to get the valve out but unfortunately we then discovered a leaky pipe. They came back the next day as promised to fix it, which required going in thru the drywall behind the shower to replace the pipe. Now the pipe is fixed, valve is replaced and we have a clean looking access panel in our closet if we ever need it. We were very impressed with their timeliness, professionalism, friendliness and reasonable cost. We would definitely use them again if we need a plumber in the future.

Just another good-job rant about GMR. I called them about a leak under our sink do to our DIY water filter installation...and they were amongst the 5-star ratings on Yelp. We needed help right away since we had to have water in the kitchen to cook and clean, especially with company coming for dinner!

Jerry the owner was the ONLY plumber I'd called that was very nice and expressed empathy for our plight and promised to get someone out right away. Of the other 5 plumbers who said they'd get back to me, only one actually called back... and that was hours after GMR had done the work.

Another point was scored for GMR when Robert, the tech assigned to us, was very prompt and thorough. He not only fixed the stuff that we had messed up in trying to do plumbing work ourselves (duh!) but fixed a couple of other problems under the sink. And, get this, Robert called us the next day to make sure the water was coming out with the proper pressure and where it was supposed to, including the refridgerator. Who does that? Well, GMR, apparently. So kudos and 5 big stars to them for:
1. A real person answering the phone.
2. That same real person empathizing with our predicament
3. Sending someone out very quickly
4. A job done quickly and efficiently and
5. A followup call the next day.

These guys did a good job and were very quick and professional. My toilet was leaking and everything I was doing wasn't working so I gave them a call. What happened was there was a crack under my toilet so no matter what I would have done, it wouldn't have worked. I need a new toilet so they got me one and installed it and it so much better than my original. I'll be using them again although I hope to not have any problems where I would need to, hahaha.

GMR Plumbing took care of our fairly major leak (under our stained concrete as fate would have it) promptly and efficiently.. Jerry took the time to explain the issue to us and sent experienced people within hours to assess the problem and come up with the most efficient solution. We had no hot water for several days as a consequence of the leak and pooling water as we tried to figure out what was going on. When I called Jerry, he was ready to assess and resolve the problem right away-we wished we'd known to call them from the beginning! Jerry was great all-around. I thought I just had a backed up sink and a broken garbage disposal. Jerry came over, took a look and explained clearly what he was going to do. He discovered that, first of all, I didn't need to replace my garbage disposal, which saved me some money (which is awesome), and second, that there was a blockage elsewhere that was affecting about half my house. Throughout the process, he explained every step and why he was doing what he was doing, and soon after my drains were flowing free and my disposal wasn't leaking. Would recommend GMR to anyone.

Very nice. Came out to camera view the pipes under the house and went beyond, into backyard all the way to the city line. Knowledgeable- knew exactly what pipe I had in various places. These guys are great! Monday (Labor Day) we had our lines clog up. I got on Yelp and started calling. GMR was about my 4th call. With in 2 hours they had a tech at my place and got it fixed. I would recommend these guys any day and will use them again!

My kitchen sink had backed up the night before Thanksgiving and Jerry was the first to reply. Within minutes he called me back, before my own apartment complex maintenance, mind you. It was late in the evening and I had honestly expected nobody to be available with the holiday the next day. Jerry is the owner of the company and didn't hesitate to volunteer to come help my situation when all his employees were out in the field. The solution was simple, or at least Jerry made it seem that way, and I had my kitchen sink ready to go for the day of cooking that followed. I really appreciated the honest and fair pricing considering he didn't finish until close to 10pm. He was on my complex's vendor list so he was able to charge me what he'd charge them so it wouldn't be an issue to be reimbursed. The friendly and willing to help attitude was the cherry on top of great service! Thanks so much Jerry!

I attempted to replace a shower cartridge on my own - something I've done many times before. Unfortunately, the cartridge broke when I was pulling it out. I was immediately in over my head. I contacted many plumbers to get a quote. GMR was $100 less than anyone else. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Austin showed up and was very pleasant and competent. Did a great job. Highly recommend!

5 STARS!! I called Jerry less than 24 hrs ago to get a quote on removing a toilet and sink... let's just say I'm beyond impressed with the PRICE, QUALITY AND TIME it took to complete the job! He was right on time for the appointment, explained exactly what he was going to do... and left the spaces cleaner than they were when he arrived!!! I highly recommend GMR Plumbing to anyone who needs quality plumbing from an honest guy!! I'll be using him again very soon!!!!

Just started using GMR. First time I called them they came out that night even though it was late. They fixed my issue and informed me that the last plumbers used the wrong size piping under our sink. I've used then several times since then for drain snaking. They've always been able to come by asap. They are very affordable too! GMR has been my go to for plumbing. All really nice employees, owner is super nice and responds quickly.

We were in a bind with a clogged shower drain due to old pipes - the reviews for GMR looked promising so I gave them a call early morning - left a voice message and within 5 minutes I was called back and had someone out within the next 2 hours. Rob came out to fix our pipes quickly and also gave us some advice on our sink that was having some issues. Very helpful, great service, and easy to work with- highly recommend this company- very professional.

Jerry was great, he was able to respond to an urgent call we had after hours and walked us through everything that needed to be done. He had most of the job done before he got there by fabricating the section of pipe and connections before coming over. Price was fair and I would use this company again.

So my wife and I bought a house in Scottsdale and we decided to remodel the whole house and we came across some issue with some old cast-iron Plumbing that we had. Basically when we did the inspection and they said that it was all crumbling and that we are going to need to have it all replaced yada yada yada. Anyway I called Jerry off of Yelp and I told him everything that needed to be replaced and he came over and inspected all of my Plumbing. Basically I had all of the plumbing redone in my kitchen including some that is underneath the concrete. I had the main drain that goes out to the street replaced with abs. All in all this was a huge job and Jerry did it all by himself he did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Needless to say I will be calling Jerry if I have any Plumbing issues.

I spent my covid relief check on Plumbing Express and it's A okay.

I had a routine job that wasn't difficult or disgusting. Greg and Devon arrived and completed the job without issue. They were professional, friendly and efficient. I was given several options and pricing up front and they explained the benefits of the various options. There was no pressure to choose the most expensive choice, subscribe to a service plan, or anything like that.

Sure, I could have done the job myself and save over $500, BUT it would have taken 7 days instead of a few hours. My back would have been in pain for weeks. And I would have done it all wrong, with no regard for best practices or code, because, you know, I'm not a professional plumber.
Overall I'm satisfied with their work and will choose them again and recommend them to friends. You get what you pay for, and it's an added bonus when it helps a small business and member of the community.

Shout out to Jerry for running a growing and successful company. He fixed a previous plumbing issue, and it's good to see things are going well!
