John has helped me through each step of this complete upgrade to my home. You can tell he is dedicated, and knows his stuff.
Earlier this year they did a great job with the exterior of my house in Mesa. Ron and his crew did fast and professional work!
More recently they just finished up with the whole interior, and I could not be happier!!!! Robin was there daily to check on progress and answer any questions I had. Freddy and Jaime were at the door, on time, every day. Another thing I was impressed with was the way everyone carried themselves on the job. Always professional and courteous.

Customer beware! My husband and I were refer to this company by a couple of different sources. At first we felt very comfortable with the process. Unfortunately this came to a startling halt. When we made the decision on our colors it was made very clear that we wanted Dunn Edwards. This was very well known and samples for provided to us in the large block samples. Since things are pretty busy out there, Robin asked if we would not mind giving those back once work began as they may need them for other customers at some point. We didn't think anything of it and so we offered to give those back. Looking back we really wish we had never done that. You'll find out why. We went through the process of getting our colors approved. Colors requested were approved through HOA to be Dunn Edwards. We set the date for our paint to get done. We were super excited as this was a big purchase for us on our home that we plan to stay in to retire in. We've never done a big purchase like this on a home that we have owned since we got married. So as you can expect this is pretty exciting for us. So starts the process, and make it busy doing the patchwork and getting prepared to put the paint on. We were never informed of any need to substitute to an alternate brand, in other words to color match. Two of the four colors are not terrible, but not 100%.The other two are completely wrong. We tried to address this, but had no resolve. They made the choice to proceed with color matching outside of the brand chosen, and won't take responsibility for the fact that they didn't come close to matching at all. Yet, they want payment in full. They never cleared the alternative brand with us, and just tried to pull a fast one on us, hoping we wouldn't notice.  Well, we noticed. Sherwin Williams doesn't equal Dunn Edwards. Not even close. Such a shame.

The final payment was agreed upon by your company. So I did pay for inadequate work. It was not quite two year ago however I gave you as the owner a chance to follow up with me directly and you chose not too. Not carrying this around with me for two year, I just started posting reviews on yelp - both good and bad - and I recalled this and didn't want it to happen to anyone else. I use yelp so much thought I should start contributing back to reviews as I count on people being honest about businesses here.

We used Phoenix house painting for both inside and outside of our house - inside they did 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and full exterior. John and Robin we're very prompt in coming out to give a quote and spent about 20 minutes at the house and pointed out things I hadn't even thought about. I had gotten quotes from 2 other companies that combined didn't not spend as much time going over the details with me.
Once they started the job, they were prompt at arriving, had a full crew working and finished ahead of schedule. They indulged my accent wall design and it turned out better than I imagined. They did a thorough walk through and touched up any minor thing I noticed.
Overall excellent customer service and great company to work with - would highly recommend!

John and his crew were excellent to work with.  We struggled on finding a color and how we wanted the house painted.  Robin came out and helped us through the complete process.  When we narrowed it down to primary colors and 2 trim colors, she came out and painted 2 large spots with the colors and trim so we could pick.  Robin even helped us with some paint color matches on the inside.  

When we threw a curve at them with a request for a small job inside, they provided a great price and completed it quickly.

Like any project there is always some clinches, however it is how a company responds.  Phoenix House Painting handled them with the upmost respect and highest customer service.  

If I were to use one word for Phoenix House Painting.com it would be - Integrity.

A year after painting the exterior of our home, we were ready to paint the interior.  Our first call for a quote was to Phoenix House Painting, since they did such a terrific job previously.  Again, their quote was the most affordable and thorough.  The work was completed as promised and we couldn't be any happier with the results.  Every attention to detail was paid.

1. Pre-work walk through with the crew to confirm paint plan.
2. All non-paint areas properly protected.
3. Furniture moved and replaced.
4. Meticulous prep-work (masking/taping, surface repair, sanding, caulking, etc.)
5. Paint lines straight and clean
6. Crew happily addressed every request I made.

Absolutely amazing service! We got their information as a referral and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Not only did they answer the phone, not send me to voicemail, but Debbie was professional and courteous and had Robin to my home in less than an hour to give me a quote. The guys working on the house have been professional and kind. It's been very easy to work with them. WOW! This company blew me away with their professionalism.  First, John showed up with his supervisor to examine the exterior, each asking questions to ensure they did exactly what we wanted.  They properly prepped the exterior, paid attention to detail, and cleaned up after they were done every day.  I highly recommend them.

From PHP's initial visit, timely quote, communication, job start and completion. We are happy with the whole experience. I would happily recommend the team at Phoenix House Painting to all my friends and family!

Terrible company to work with. Had to come back 3 times to fix their paint work and still did not complete. Painters smoking outside and flicked cigarette butts onto our AstroTurf. Had the owner come out and check work and burn marks and promised that our turf would be fixed or replaced. Owner even admitted that he was embarrassed of the house painting job because there were so many mistakes and mismatched walls. We sent final payment in and then never heard back from company until weeks later after calling multiple times, when the owner then denied he ever saw the burn marks or agreed to fix the AstroTurf. Also stated that he lost money on the project and that my husband and I were to blame. Will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Would rate a 0 if possible.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! We had to paint the exterior of our home and decided to hire PHP after a recommendation. Sold us on their professionalism and follow ups. However by the second day on our property that all changed. They sent two goons unsupervised that had no clue what they were doing. They damaged plants and property, they did not follow directions and had one even talk back to me after I confronted him about damaging our hose caddy. They were sloppy, reckless and had no concern for our property. They even painted one wall the wrong color TWICE ! not once but TWICE!
We were told the owner was going to come out the next day to visualize all the damage, mistakes and havoc that had occurred. Instead he dodged us the entire day claiming he was in a 4 hour meeting and then encountered internet issues??? He never showed up that day.
The one plus was one of their supervisors, Caleb. This poor guy had to baby sit and worked his butt off the next day to try to correct all the mistakes. Sadly he could not do on his own. Caleb was a real workhorse and walked circles around these other guys. He was the one good thing that came from the experience. He really did try to make things better. A real genuine guy. He shared with me that he usually worked in commercial not residential so that may have been an oversight on the owners part. He said usually he can assign his workers their tasks and they will follow them. For some reason the two that were sent to our home were not able to do such.
We got the feeling that John couldn't care less about our situation and was avoiding us. We actually had the workers thrown off our property on the final day. They still hadn't completed all the mistakes and then to add insult to injury one of the goons had taken all the screws off our screened windows when was told not to. ..each window screw is customized fitted. So we were literally screwed!  He threw them all into a bag and on the final day stripped a lot of the screws as he was trying to put them back on.
This was the final straw so we thought.. We realized the day after that one of them broke one of our roof tiles. When I called Caleb he said to me  Oh yeah the workers told me it was already broken! LIES ! Be warned  Why would I make up such a story if it weren't true. So know that they employ workers that will lie directly to their supervisors and have very little respect for others property.
Caleb told me he spoke to John and said they would replace it and he would call me on Monday. Well here we are almost 3 weeks later and never heard back. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE JOHN. TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN!  
At this point I no longer want to be contacted by them instead I would rather warn anyone thinking of hiring this company to paint ANYTHING that has to do with their beloved home and to re read my review.
When the owner finally came out on the final walk through to get his payment he didn't even mention anything about all there mistakes or even apologize. He was more concerned about getting stuck in traffic on his commute home afterwards!?!?!?!
The finished product after all the corrections and mistakes looks good I am happy to say. HOWEVER we never should have been put through all this stress, damage, grief and uncertainty. These two workers should have been removed the next day and replaced with more competent ones. We weren't expecting special treatment however all the wrong doing it should of been the least they could of done.
I've already had five of my neighbors already ask if we would recommend them and with each one I shared my story with. Needless to say they won't be going with them. I would never be able to recommend this company to anyone. You have been warned. Be smart and safe and go with another company,

Phoenix House Painting is one of the most incompetent companies I have ever dealt with.  They bought a new man door to install in the garage.  The new door no longer swung the correct way and now opened into a wall.  Were they hoping I wouldn't notice?  When they replaced the door, it was supposedly new but at the time of install it was coming apart at the bottom.  When they painted another door they didn't bother to remove the hardware so there were brush strokes all around the hardware.  When they painted my newly purchased front door, the paint just ran as it wasn't primed correctly before painting.  They finally hosed off the paint and had to start over.  They painted it again and the paint had runs all over it,  Finally, John came out himself and painted it,.  The final product had an orange peel texture. He told me it would look better when it dried, it didn't.   I had ceramic house numbers on the house that I wanted to have removed. They just loaded up the area with stucco so there was an ugly bump on the front of the house where the numbers were.  The job was a huge disappointment from start to finish.  Find another company!!!

I can't say enough great things about PHP. John came to our home for an estimate and we knew we were in good hands. He was prompt, great to work with, quick but thorough, gave a very fair estimate and even helped us with our final color choices. We just saw the finished house today and Ken & Maria did an AMAZING job! The whole house looks great and you could tell the care and pride they both took in their work. Ken took his time to show us around the whole house and had even taken the time for extra touches just like he would want done in his own home! It's beautiful. Phoenix House Painting just completed a complete exterior repaint of my home and I couldn't be more pleased.  I highly recommend them.  The owner, John Morris, is a veteran of the paint industry.  The guys that work for him are smart, efficient, careful and quick. My home looks brand new and the best part is they offer a 10 year warranty on their workmanship and materials. Stop by and take a look.  They are the best !!!

Phoenix House Painting painted my home about a month ago and did an amazing job. Everyone was extremely friendly and very easy to work with. I will absolutely use them anytime I need to have a house painted in the future.

If you are looking for someone to paint your home don't waste your time calling around, just call John w/ Phoenix House Painting. I spent several hours having a difficult time even coordinating times for painters to come to my home to provide estimates. John was completely flexible and able to meet me ASAP for an estimate. He gave me a fair and reasonable quote. He then made recommendations that saved me over $1100 compared to his competitors who didn't even mention his recommendation. This is an example of a good business man who knows if you do right by your customers, you'll come back. This is not an example of you get what you paid for. Even though he was the cheapest, the final product was beyond my expectations.

I dreaded getting my house painted.  The looming decisions about color and contractors, the thoughts of hidden costs, mess and dealing with protecting my property and privacy were unpleasant thoughts, at best.  But these guys dispelled all the normal worries from start to finish.  There was never any  pressure.  The owner started off putting all my worries to rest.  To begin with he LISTENED and gave me a same day price that was fair and all inclusive (no hidden charges that came up later even when they discovered termites and had to take a big section of a beam out and build it up again to paint).  There was no pressure on a color decisions and he gave me a few tips on what he had seen work well.  I held on to the color choices and he painted  sections of wall in several places and let me take my time deciding.  The guys who did the painting were excellent, no watering down the paint, did the promised number of coats ,and more, and they were nice people who did a professional job, worked hard and always had a smile.  I can't think of a better company to paint your house.
