Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical

A salesman showed up, not a plumber. Tried to sell me a water heater when I didn't even call about a water heater issue. Wanted $700 to install a new toilet.....it better be made of gold for that price!!!  Don't get sucked in by the cheap service call price. I will not use this company again nor recommend them.

But I will say this - they are VERY organized and friendly when you call the office. Good follow-up and text you when they are on their way, etc.

Let me start off by saying that we went through two additional companies for diagnostics and spoke to local plumbers over the phone. My husband found Penguin Air Jose and Charles went above for us! We're new to the area so this has been a stressful situation. Jose and Charles took their time examining our home. Took time to educate what the issues could be and made sure to reassure us that no matter what it's our health/safety and getting our home in order that is priority. Thank you Jose and Charles for giving myself, my husband and our son all your attention/efforts/hard work! They have our business and recommendations for sure!

Up charges like crazy. Our technician had no idea what he was doing and tried to tell us it was an electrical problem which it was not. They wanted over $1,000 and we decided to fix it ourselves and paid under $300. The technician opened up a wall outlet and caused sparks to fly everywhere as well as blew the breaker. He was only certified for HVAC and NOT electrical. He had no business in trying to pull out an outlet. He was not educated in our set up and told us he didn't know how to work on it. I DO NOT recommend this place and if for some reason you decide to go with them ask for any tech but Ryan.

Had problem with new air conditioner noise. They sent Jay Welch out the next day. He knew what to do & did it. Plus he had some ideas of other things that might help with the problem. If approved he will return & work on the excessive noise problem. Penguin Air you have a great asset in your staff.

Very happy with our emergency plumbing service! I've had bad experiences with other plumbing companies (unfriendly techs, not solving the problem, crazy up-charges) so I wasn't looking forward to another bad experience. This was the opposite in every way. From the time we placed the call to clean up and paper work, the service was professional, friendly, and thorough.

Their 'services' nearly cost me $9,000-13,000-.
Glad I got a second opinion. The problem was disconnected wires, not the heating unit.

My AC froze up during the evening it was so hot; my unit had literally froze up (there was ice); Called Penguin and they identified the probably immediately and were able to fix the probably quickly and professionally.  I was very impressed with their service technician and I decided to sign up for the club membership (maintenance) - so that my AC will be regularly maintained and so I never have to suffer without AC again. They also do plumbing so I'll definitely call them if I experience plumbing issues.
