I just recently got Herman's number from a long time friend.  I did not know the company name until I paid his invoice.  He was a referral from a contractor friend of mine that did some work on a rental we have in Carmichael.

I called Herman and had him go out and give me an estimate on a slow leak coming from the upstairs bathroom above the downstairs laundry area.  I gave him the tenants phone number and had him coordinate with them.

I have 100% complete trust in the contractor who gave me Herman and Swift Plumbing's number and he sure didn't let me down.  Not only did he end up charging me 33% less than the original quote, he fixed a leak under my sink free of charge when he came over to pick up a check from our Roseville home.

He said, I am only charging you _____ amount because the work wasn't as labor intensive as I had originally thought it would be.  Wow! He could have charged me the original price quoted and I would have never known the difference.  Honesty and integrity gets places with me.

Needless to say, he is now giving us an estimate to do a larger job in our master bathroom and I have also told 2 close friends of mine that we have found the plumber we have been looking for.  They both own rentals and not too long ago we had the conversation if anyone had a really trustworthy and dependable plumbing contact.  None of us could think of a plumber off the top of our heads.  I sure can now.

I called Swift Plumbing after reading other positive yelp reviews and he was just as great as everyone else said.  Herman has done work on two homes for us now and is the only plumber I will call.  From helping us replace our antiquated valves in our old home, to fixing a clogged pipe in our new home, Herman has been great.  He is timely, responsive, and honest.  He is also incredibly reasonable price-wise.  I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of a great plumber.

Herman from Swift Plumbing is great!  He seems very honest and didn't gouge me on prices.  He initially came out to fix a clog that turned out to be 40 ft down (he got it) but found additional issues that could have caused major water damage if they broke because the parts were so old and corroded.  He wasn't making this up:  he showed me the rusted pieces and hoses that were about to break from age.  So I had him come back to make these preventive repairs.  My dad said compared to his plumber in Bend, OR, Herman/Swift's rates were extremely reasonable.  Herman worked efficiently, was easy going and professional and didn't talk down to me like some repairmen do.

A nice guy, an honest guy, and a fast worker with reasonable rates who does the job right.  There's no way I'll ever again go to the big names in plumbing.  Seriously, just don't do that.  They charge too much, they can take a long time to show up, and if you're thinking with the big names I know they'll do it right... That's just not true and I speak from experience on that.

He showed up when he said he would, he finished the job quickly, and now it works as it should.  Better yet, the price didn't increase.

He even threw in a couple things without a price increase.  First, I had a cheap plastic ring retaining the plumbing to my sink, which he upgraded to metal including the part.  I also asked if he would move my dishwasher overflow so now I can put a soap dispenser in the hole where the dishwasher overflow was.  (He did it the right way.)  This is great because now I don't need an ugly soap bottle on the counter.  Just looks more tidy.

I needed to have my hot water heater replaced and got four or five estimates before I picked Swift Plumbing.  He's the best just like all the other reviews state.  Not only was he the most reasonable, but he doesn't have a huge overhead like the big box plumbers.  Buckley Heating and Air estimated over $300 for the same job Herman did.  Hopefully all these reviews won't make him too busy and lose some of that honest and integrity!  I had heard this rumor before but Herman verified it: Yelp solicits money from the businesses on it's site in return for being put at the top of the list so shoppers go there first.

I called based on other good, Yelp reviews.  Great, prompt, and reasonably priced service.  He gave me all the info I needed to make a warrant claim on a prior plumbing company's service.  I highly recommend.

Herman was great about installing a  new gas line for a new gas dryer then a few months later I needed a branch sewer line replaced. Fair pricing, nice guy, great work. Thanks!

Water heater went out the day before Xmas eve. Called several companies and the
earliest anyone would come would be the 26th. Found Herman from Swift Plumbing
who promised to come the 24th but then came at 5:00 pm the day before since
he got done with his other jobs early. Bless his heart! The estimates were all over the place
and his was the lowest. Fixed the problem quickly. A+++

Herman with Swift Plumbing is awesome.  He is always straight forward with his pricing and explains the issues with whatever problem is happening.  We've had him clear our sewer line and replace the heating element on our hot water heater.  If in need of a plumber, this is your best option.  I'll definitely be using his company in the future.

Herman was amazing with our emergency leak with our water main.  He came the same day we reached out, had great communication and offered a very reasonable bid.  Swift Plumbing fixed the leak quickly and was very honest with his assessment of the rest of the house. Awesome Service!! My mom had some trouble with her garbage disposal.. Swift quickly fixed it and was reasonably priced.  Very pleased!

I had bad luck with plumbers until I met Herman. He is now my go-to guy. The last plumber left me an unconnected pipe in a tight spot under the house where I could not see, until water started showing up in my AC return!! Called Herman, he came same day, crawled in all that nasty stuff to diagnose and gave me a very fair quote.

Not only was the spot to fix in the farthest point from the crawl access, but it was surrounded by pipes in a way that one can never get to. Herman did the impossible and got everything fixed and smooth. I wouldn't hesitate in hiring him again.

Swift was recommended to us by a friend who has used them before when we had a clogged drain. They were able to fix the problem quickly and for a reasonable price. Most recently we had a pipe break under the house and were expecting to need major work done to access it. Swift was able to repair it the next day at a much much lower cost than we had expected. Can't recommend them enough!

Long story short I was desperate our master bath had a bad leak, water into the wall. Wedding rehearsal dinner at our house in a few days and out of town guests arriving. Home warranty folks don't return calls so this morning I looked at Yelp..... Called Swift when he opened and he was here at 11:00!!! Problem fixed and cost was EXTREMELY reasonable. I will definitely use him again!!

Herman is an ace, number one plumber. You won't be sorry for hiring him for any job you may have. He is fair, honest and reliable. Swift Plumbing is the way to go.

Herman is very knowledgeable and reasonable.  He responds quickly and does a good job;  he has lots of experiences with old fixtures and plumbing.  We thought we might have to change out our nice old fixtures because plumbers we contacted were not so helpful... that is until Swift Plumbing and Herman came to the rescue!

Herman has been helping maintain the plumbing at my mom's duplex for years. He is reliable, clearly explains what needs to be fixed and why, provides consistent pricing, and has made several recommendations to help save me money.
