Mr. Electric of Phoenix Metro

The pendent lights over our kitchen countertop were not properly installed by the previous owners. (Our house was a flip). The lights were actually pulling out of the ceiling and one was just dangling. We have very high ceilings (at least 12 ft high), so it wasn't something we could do ourselves. Our technician was Albert and he did a great job! Thank you, Mr Electric!

Called someone this morning to see if I could get on the schedule same day. A company I booked for this morning canceled so I was left to call around for a last minute opening. After giving my name, phone email and address they were able to check for availability. They said there was none for today but that they would keep me on standby. The guy I spoke to was nice and he did try.

Late morning, I received an email stating there was an appointment scheduled. Around noon I called in and they verified I had an appointment at 2. It seemed they got me in. I thanked them and then around 230 there was still no one at my tenants home. Then I thought that maybe 2pm was the start of a window of time. My tenant had to leave at 5. It was 4pm and still no electrician.

At 4 I drove from ahwatukee to Gilbert to be present for this visit since my tenant couldn't. By 445 still nothing. I called and an answering service verified I had an appointment and they would call the contracted company to see what was going on. They came back to me and said they could get ahold of anyone and that they would email them for me asking them to call me.

I finally left the property at 630 pm. No one showed. Then I see the status of my scheduled visit to the picture attached. It was a waste of time and my night.

Mr. Electric and electrician John Russo are great. They have great communication and are reasonable. John was our electrician. He is nice, capable, punctual, professional, and reliable. I would highly recommend Mr. Electric and we will definitely use Mr. Electric (and John) again.

The guy's from Mr Electric , did everything to get the 1st phase of the job completed, and the then ready for the next phase. the people from Mr. Electric from the Customer Service to the crew's are very friendly and highly knowledgeable , and easy to work with.you can't go wrong with Mr. Electric.

We've used Mr. Electric twice now. Once for a EV charger and second for recessed lighting in our living room. Both projects turned out great, and the technicians were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I'm happy to use them for all of my electrical needs.

I contacted Mr. Electric of Phoenix to do what, for me, was a fairly large project - upgrade power for my house from 200 to 400 amps, install a generator, install a 100-amp sub-panel in a workshop and install a 50-amp disconnect for a pool heater.

I was very pleased with their work. Sean showed up as scheduled and provided a quote for the work and set up an initial work schedule.

The electricians, Jim and John, showed up on time and worked diligently in the summer heat to upgrade the electrical panel. They then needed to crawl about 150' through the attic to get the required power cable to my workshop area where they installed the 100-amp sub-panel and requested 120 and 240V receptacles.

They also very cleanly installed the 50-amp disconnect for the electric heat pump pool heater and prepped the area where the backup generator was to be installed.

Albert came, with another electrician whose name escapes me at the moment, to install the transfer switch and necessary load management modules for the generator.

Because of the complexity of the job there was waiting for the city, the electric company and the gas company to provide their approvals through the process - a process which Mr. Electric coordinated and managed for me. As soon as necessary approvals were received, Mr. Electric was there to continue the work to its completion.

I'm very happy with the professionalism, the courtesy, the friendliness, the cleanliness and the thoroughness that Mr. Electric's team provided for this project. I'm very happy with the work that was done and feel very comfortable that it was done properly and will provide years of good service.

I recommend Mr. Electric and have already contracted with them for my next project.

We needed two light fixtures swapped out with new hardware.
Having used Mr. Electric previously (and were pleased with the results) I made an appointment to have them come out to perform the work.   The price was reasonable, and the Technician Arturo Tarin was efficient and professional.  The work was completed well, and promptly.

We will be using them again to add another light fixture to our house in the near future.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I was in the middle of a remodel months ago and needed an electrician. I called Mr Electric and prayed they would be good. I was extremely happy! John R has done several projects for me since my first call and each time he delivered as promised with a great attitude! This experience has been very refreshing, especially with all the bad contractor experiences I've had in the past. Mr Electric earned my trust and is now my favorite electrical company!

We continue to be amazed by the level of service provided by Mr. Electric. This was our 4th time working with their team. Added additional ceiling lights to a number of the rooms with dimmers, what a game changer!  Everything from the ease of scheduling with Jennifer to the completion of the job provided by Corey was perfect! Great people to work with.

I moved homes and needed an outlet installed for my car charger. Having had this done in a previous home, I had some idea of pricing from a competitor. Initially, I invited Mr. Electric to the house for and estimate and I had the competitor that I used previously standing by to give an estimate later in the day. I won't lie, the first price for the instal was nearly $100 more than the competitor charged me for similar work about 18 months ago. I voiced my concern and noted that I had another company coming by to do an estimate this afternoon, and I'd give Mr. Electric a call to schedule the install if they ended up winning the bid.

Well, the electrician, RL Reiff, wouldn't just let a potential customer walk away and go with a competitor. Without missing a beat, Mr. Reiff got ahold of the business owner and gave me a price that beat the old competitor by $12. He didn't hassle me or shame me about seeking multiple bids, he just got on the phone and made it happen.

When the install got a bit more complicated, Mr. Reiff headed to the hardware store and assured the job was done correctly and not just quickly or satisfactorily. Despite the heat, he was patient and professional.

Without question I'd use Mr. Reiff and Mr. Electric again should the need arise.

I've had a few folks work on my never-ending home remodel, and Mr. Electric was by far the most pleasant company to work with.

Albert Rehm came out two days ago to check out an ancient GFCI outlet that had tripped in a bathroom, causing the garage door to stop opening. He replaced it in a jiffy, and then walked around with us to look at other electrical projects we had on our list, including can lights and pendants in our kitchen and some Ikea lights we wanted to use in the laundry room, but which needed to be hardwired and didn't have a switch.

He gave us a quote on the spot, and was back today to do the work. Mr. Electric sent out a text to let me know Albert was on his way, and he showed up right at the time he said he'd be there, right down to the minute! He covered every single inch of the kitchen before starting work. You'd never know he'd been here, were it not for the extra few thousand lumens he gave our kitchen and laundry room.

He took our nervous concerns about alignment and positioning seriously, and offered advice on the best placement for the pendants. I just went and checked them with a laser, and they're dead-on perfect.

Before drilling a hole into the wall of our laundry room, Albert suggested just changing the Ikea fixture to a plug-in instead, which made way more sense - why didn't I think of that? He even worked up a wood mount to place the lights on, to address an issue with how the cabinets in the room were connected. I thought he was just going to power the lights and call it a day, but he installed everything and it looks wonderful. He even left extra pieces and instruction booklets in a neat pile, and hauled off the rest of the trash from our project so we wouldn't have to fill up our bin.

The new lighting looks fantastic, and I'm already walking around the house looking for new electrical projects to have Albert come back and work on. Mr. Electric wasn't the cheapest option, but it's worth it to pay a little extra to know that the job is going to be done well.

We had 5 ceiling fans installed, vaulted ceilings. The technician, Arturo T. Was professional, responsive, knowledgeable and did a great job. We would definitely use again for other services.

Somebody else had the same problem I did with this company. Scheduled an appointment for Wednesday 8am-12pm. No call, no show. Called them at 12 and spoke with the same woman who scheduled the appointment before (who I find out is actually a call center taking messages). I asked to speak with somebody from the business and they never called back. Insanely frustrating! I

Would give 0 stars if it let me. Called monday November 30th to schedule service for Monday December 7th. Assisted me someone would reach out to contact me prior to coming out. Day of service comes with no contact so I called customer service just to see when they technician might be coming. Says nothing scheduled for me and no record of me ever scheduling service. Wont give my money to a business that apparently can't even track their own service.

Mr Electric was quick to send someone out. Albert the Technician was great!!!  Very respectful and efficient.  He will be the one I call if I need electrical work done in the future. I will also recommend him to my family and friends. Excellent experience.

We recently moved and needed a lot of electrical work done. Our new ceilings are extremely high, so we definitely needed help installing them. John came out and gave us a quote and he was very helpful. He helped guide us as to what kinds of lights and fixtures would work, and answered our questions. He came back to hang them and he did GREAT work! One of the fixtures was totally off centered and he was able to re-hang and center it perfectly. He is so friendly and patient - and made sure we were totally happy. We will always use Mr. Electric and request John for our electrical needs!

Bought a fixer upper home and needed a lot of electrical done. John Russo came and did an excellent job. He went above and beyond to put in recessed light fixtures, including extra to ensure our new kitchen had enough lights. He did trenching in concrete for a new kitchen island, moved light switches and electrical outlets. Work was done quick. Excellent job. I oils recommend him to anyone! We will be using him again!

Wow is all I can say. I got quotes from two electricians, Mr. Electric was the second one and I didn't bother calling other companies after that. RL was my technician and he was on time, friendly and relatable. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do and where to install with minimal damage. The first company told us we would need a contractor! Which was not true at all. RL got our new dryer outlet installed in a jiffy and it was even less than the original quote. We were really impressed every step of the way. We will be sure to use you for our next project.

These guys know their stuff!  Needing to update our entire electrical system in our home sent me into a pure panic.  We've been working with Mr. Electric for over 10 years and Corey's know how and experience gave me complete confidence.  The project was far easier that I thought and Corey, along with Richard, exceeded my expectations in every way!  They're thoughtful, courteous and obviously have a high degree of expertise.  We discussed time frames and expectations and they truly made this project a slam/dunk!

They were able to get a technician out to me with a day and was very informative and the quote provided was very detailed and reasonable.

We had a guy come out June 4th. Did his survey of what needed to be done. He said to call my boss on June 9th if you have not received a quote from us by then. (that should have been my first clue.. why would he tell me to do that... because he knew).  I did not get a quote by June 9th. I have called everyday since. It is now June 15th.  Every time I call I get an Answering Service that they use to take these calls.  Nobody knows what's going on.  They just take down my name and information everyday, and tell me that someone is going to get back to me ASAP.  Never happened.  I would not recommend this company.  Use a local guy that is recommended by a neighbor.

Overall, very pleased with the service I received from Mr. Electric. I needed a 240V, 50 amp circuit and outlet installed in my garage for a level 2 electric car charging station. Richard T. came out to provide the estimate. The quote was very reasonable and he agreed to do the work the same day, as opposed to other companies who were scheduling 1-3 weeks out. Richard was courteous, professional, prompt, and did a great job of explaining what he was going to do. Based on this experience, I would gladly recommend this company to anyone needing electric work done.

Sol Barreto was wonderful working with us on our issues! He explained everything thoroughly and repaired what we needed to repair. He was honest and up front on pricing as well.
He arrived on time and called before.
The company has a valued employee there!!
I will request Sol from now on for my home and our rental properties. He is a great guy.

I've updated my review to 4 Stars because of the owner taking my call and confirming the fact that the invoice was found the following year, not that I was a dead beat customer.

We've used Mr. Electric several times throughout the years and today I had an unfortunate experience with their customer service. I received an invoice dating back to 7/18/2018 in September of 2019. I thought this may have been an error since normally we either pay cash or by credit promptly. I called the main number and the person who answered the phone was almost like a bill collector - I had mentioned that I thought I paid in  cash and she indicated I was wrong and that this invoice needed to be paid. Listen, in this day and age having an invoice pop up a year later is a red flag for anyone. She mentioned that they have sent numerous invoices, I have kept all invoices dating back to 2016 from the work they've done - this one came to my inbox on 9/11/2019 for work on 7/18/2018.  I don't need to be treated like some loser who doesn't make their payments, I was calling to talk about it and figure out what happened. I called you! Long story short, I said I would pay the bill, but would never use their services again. I still stand by this. This call escalated unnecessarily. I felt like she was saying I was a liar - I vote with my money to companies that still understand customer service. I called a second time to just pay my invoice and move on - but my call was forwarded to the answering service, who apologized for Mr. Electric once I told her my story. Maybe all calls should go to the answering service.

Look, I'm the daughter and granddaughter of electricians, so this score was hard earned! When I have to call in the pros, it's because I can't do it myself or Dad is too far away. They treated me with respect, professionalism, courtesy, and did an outstanding job. They laid tarps, vacuumed and cleaned up (even wiped down my front hall floors!). They were friendly and quietly went about the work while I was on calls. If you need electrical work done fast, reasonably priced, and professionally completed then call Mr. Electric.

Horrible service. I called last Wednesday (a week ago) and they scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday (August 6). August 6th rolls around and there is no confirmation, no call so I call them. They tell me they will call me back. 2 hours later I call them back and they cancel the appointment. The woman Jennifer who I spoke to was rude. This company didn't even bother to call and tell me they were going to flake out. Horrible customer service!

I called to get an estimate on an install for an electric vehicle charger in my garage. John came on time and gave a very reasonable quote, which I agreed to. Then he asked if I'd like it installed right then and there! I wasn't expecting that, usually every job requires the hassle of multiple visits. But in two hours it was finished. John and the electrician with him were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. In the process of completing it, John found some wiring problems in my circuit breaker that he fixed for free. I will be using them for all my future electrical problems.

Just had them out to rewire connection/plug for electric stove change-out.  Very impressed with speed of response and the professional manner in which work was accomplished.

A no-cost estimation was provided before work was done.  The technician, Jim Baker was courteous; kept working area clean, and offered to do a complete house electrical inspection following the job.

Once in awhile you get really lucky and can clearly see that Providence was on your shoulder looking out for you. This was the case today with Mr. Electric. For some reason, a couple of outlets in our kitchen went out. Resetting the GFCI circuit brought power back, but anytime we plugged in the coffee maker (which has been plugged into the same outlet for several years), it would cause a fault. I tested the circuits and breaker which revealed the problem was most likely the coffee maker. To be certain and safe I connected with Mr. Electric who dispatched Robert Facio. Robert has been an Electrician for 25 yrs.; and thankfully found more than we bargained for! Robert proved the coffee pot was causing a problem, but also found a couple of outlets labeled as being grounded but were not, which means in the right circumstances a fire could have started or worse (electrocution risk).  Mr. Electric's Robert replaced the bad outlets, grounded them, and labeled the circuits properly. Absolutely great job. Safe and sound now thanks to this complete professional.

Robert Facio was my technician today.  He called to tell me he was on his way and showed up shortly after.  
Very professional and courteous, he explained the process , cost and understood exactly what I wanted.  It's obvious that he enjoys what he does and has pride in his work .  I definitely would recommend him and will be calling him for more electrical work at my home.

Fixed my Electric outlet that burned inside, cost $264 for one hour of work tho. Kinda pricey, i have not used an electric service before, so I just got it done. A friend recommended them. Corey hightower was service name .

I submitted a request for an estimate on Yelp, and an appointment was set to have an electrician come to my house and inspect and provide a quote.  I needed one or two outlets repaired.  I received a notification that the technician was coming, but they had the wrong address.  A phone call fixed the issue.  Then Robert Facio arrives.  His communication skills were poor -- I was not able to really tell at any point what he was seeing or recommending.  One of the outlets was actually working, but he recommended replacing the fixture.  Which I was absolutely happy to consider, but he couldn't tell me how much it cost.  The other fixture probably needed a bit more work, but he flat out said i have no idea what I'd have to do to fix it. He was telling me to call the pool company, because there is a pool light wired to that same area.  He kept mumbling about different color wires, but i could not tell if he was asking me something or telling me something.  

He was at my home for almost 2 hours, but couldn't manage to provide a quote.   He had an iPad, which ran out of battery charge, when i offered to get him a charger to plug it is he had no idea what kind of tablet it was.  I asked if was an iPad, he said no, i asked if was a USB-C charger, he said yes.... he really just had no idea... but couldn't just say that.  It's now 2 full days since his visit and I don't have a quote.  It was abundantly clear that he didn't want to be there, didn't care about my business, and quite possibly had literally no idea what he was doing.  Which was odd, since the company communicated that he had decades of experience.

There's no way I am going to give Mr. Electric my business after that initial experience.  I am extremely frustrated that their technician wasted so much of my time.  Maybe they have other technicians or electricians that have meaningful communication skills and a desire to make the customer (or potential customer) feel confident in their qualifications, but Robert Facio was anything but that.

Be very careful about their pricing of jobs.  I had them quote on hooking up wiring for a hot tub, adding a 20 amp dedicated line for my smoker grill, and adding a 1 foot plug in off of a back yard flood light to plug in an electric powered shade.  

Their proposed charge was $2,570.85.  This included a savings of $382.45 by purchasing  a $99.00 Advantage Plan.  

I had another licensed, bonded and insured firm out to perform this same work quoted by Mr. Electric.  Their total cost, including tax, for all 3 parts was $800.  Needless to say I went with the latter firm, saving $1770.85 for what turned out to be a 3 hour job.  Clearly, I can't talk about their work quality, but their pricing would have been a complete ripoff.

Well again Mr. Electric comes through. I started using them 6 years ago when I put a new panel on to my house and the workmanship was outstanding and their service unbeatable.
This morning I woke up with 1/2 of my house dark so I called them they came out exactly when they said would  kept me informed repaired the issue ( one socket blew everything) at the price they quoted.
Service Pro Robert Facio was great. Answered my many questions ( I ask a lot of questions ) found the problem and took care it

Called them and spoke to someone Who sounded like a teenager and did not care that I was inquiring about services. I asked if they had any availability for this week. She said that they didn't and then I stated ok, I will give someone else a call as I am looking for something this week. She then stated that she could get me in on Wednesday between 12 and 4. Now it's 4:10 and when I called and spoke with Jennifer asking where the electrician is they said the appointment never existed and they only have a record of me calling and leaving a message. The previous person took my address and all of my info. When I told Jennifer how frustrated I was she didn't offer any solutions just to have a nice day.
I took work off for this. Horrible customer service, horrible scheduling staff.

Very quick service and professional, though it cost a lot more than I was hoping. My outlets are working again, so that's all that matters.

During an inspection, it was determined that our CONDUIT that housed the wires leading to our main electrical box was rotted and needed replacing. I called and spoke with a Jennifer (extremely helpful) and she assigned a technician to come to my house and provide an estimate.

My technician was Eric Mabry and he was not only extremely professional, he was extremely nice and did a great job of explaining everything that needed to be done. It should also be mentioned that before the technician even showed up, I received an email explaining Eric's background and experience. I thought was a nice touch. But once he arrived he assessed what needed to be done, gave me timeline, explained my quote/bid and set an expectation for the overall project.

Once the work was completed, I was told by APS that a permit with the city of Scottsdale would be needed to confirm the work was done correctly before they could turn the power back on. I was able to call my technician Eric on the phone, who subsequently got me in touch with the owner (I think his name was Sean) of the company AFTER HOURS to get the necessary info for the permit. Who does that anymore??  The inspector with the city of Scottsdale came out and gave the job an A+ rating. Doesn't get much better than that.

They truly went above and beyond and I'll be calling them again with any electrical needs.

This company sets a great example of how a service business should operate. They have very clear communication from start to finish. Our electrician, John Russo was very nice, competent at his job, clearly explained pricing, and cleaned up after himself. He worked in an efficient and professional manner the entire time.

Mr Electric is great to do business with. They are professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. I had them install a dedicated circuit to charge an electric car. I had two quotes that were both very close in price. The differentiators for me were there high level of communication and Robert our installer. We got a detailed quote quickly, phone messages left were answered, we got emails and texts to keep us apprised of progress, and Robert was as professional as any technical specialist that has visited our home. He was absolutely top notch. They will be my first call for any future electrical needs.

This is my go to service for the properties I manage.
Always super professional, know what they are doing and on time.
Reasonably priced, not cheap. But it's electrical and better to be safe than sorry.

I would give these guys zero stars if I could.  Guy comes out for an estimate for a couple lights in my front yard and is an hour late.  Tells me what I already know and charges me 172 bucks for a diagnostic fee and then a quote for $1,400 more bucks to fix the problem.

Update-  the owner called me and talked to me about my Experience and decided to refund my $172 bucks!  I thought that was first class and I really appreciate his concern for quality customer service!

Great service on some electric work I needed.  Scheduling was a breeze, and RL showed up right on time, then listened to what I was trying to do, did some calculations and measurements, and provided me with various options and cost of each option.  Once we made the choice and he started working, he was measured and thorough, and did the work very professionally.  Made sure the work site is clean after finishing up, so end-to-end service.  I found this company via their positive reviews, and wasn't disappointed.  If you have electrical needs, give them a try for sure!

I have used MR Electric many times for projects at both my home and my business. They are always professional, and the pricing is fair and reasonable. I have always felt like they were knowledgeable with the information provided, and any advice or recommendations were spot on.   They always showed up as scheduled and were ready to work. Work was done as promised, completed on schedule, and the price quoted was the price we actually paid.

Since I regularly contract with a variety of home service businesses (landscapers, plumbers, electricians, drywall, roofers, painters, etc), I know what the average level of service is for most companies.. it's tough to find an honest and reputable company that has your best interests in mind. And I have always felt that Mr Electric goes above and beyond.

Furthermore, a while back I had a weekend waffle party emergency where I was trying to run 14 waffle makers but I kept tripping the breakers apparently due to the excessive load on the circuits.  It was seriously impeding my waffle making capabilities, and I was expecting up to 100 hungry guests..  I jokingly contacted the owner through a Facebook message pleading for help.. To my complete surprise, he called me on the phone and was able to explain why the breakers were tripping and how the kitchen was wired to meet code. He helped me isolate different circuits in the kitchen so that I could understand how to spread the load across multiple breakers and get the waffle irons hot again.  It was a real waffle party miracle.

Edit: there is a really bad review below from a guy named Stephen D.  I am actually the guy that referred him to Mr Electric.  I do not know Stephen.. he is a friend of a friend and I didn't hesitate for a second to make the referral. But I am appalled at how condescending he was in his review, especially considering that he had a personal referral.  It's insulting and I will be extremely cautious making any referrals in his direction ever again.  If nothing else he should have contacted me if there was a problem. If you look at his yelp profile, he gives poor reviews to everybody and seems to feed off the drama.  I feel like everything in his life is a catastrophe and he likes to yell and kick his feet.. sounds more like a tantrum than a review, I feel bad for anybody that has to work with this guy.

Amazing! I called the morning of needing them and they were out there within a couple of hours! Tina was my tech and she was great! Very knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly! I highly recommend this company and if you can request your tech, ask for Tina!!

After calling the electrical company that did our new build they suggested mr. Electric. We had never heard of mr electric but they were just as she described.

We had several light fixtures and ceiling fans needed to be installed, Mr. Facio did a great job installing our fixtures.

We sat down for 5 minutes and went over what we wanted done. He loaded it into his iPad, we reviewed and felt they were reasonable so he went to work. He was thorough, a clean workspace worker using sheets and booties each time he came in and out. He was great to deal with.

Overall a good choice.

I had an EV charger installed in my garage - very high quality workmanship!  Corey listened to all of my concerns about placement, and explained to me thoroughly the work he was needing to perform with excellent detail.  Additionally, I had my 3 year old running around the garage most of the time he was here, and Corey was very patient and respectful of the little guy who was so curious to see what was going on in HIS garage!

I would definitely recommend Corey from Mr. Electric for any electrical projects, repairs or needs you might have around your house or business.  He is courteous, professional, prompt and simply pleasant to be around.

I had Mr. Electric install a garage overhead fixture.  I was asked if I wanted LED bulbs and I said yes.  They charged me $200 for four 4' LED tubes which are available at Lowes for $14.95 each.

Make sure you read the estimate closely.  I was not provided with an itemized estimate, just the total amount.  Caveat emptor,

We called several (3) different electrical companies, but one gave us a quote over the phone and one never showed. But when we set up our free estimate with Mr. Electric, not only was he on time, friendly and explained exactly what and how the work would be done. So when they came to install, 5 light fixtures and a huge fan (needing a 23' ladder), they were on time, worked diligently, explained everything and cleaned - we couldn't ask for more!  We would highly recommend Mr Electric, and when you call, ask for Corey or Albert, both of them know what they're talking about and are very professional.  We will be using them again in the future.

The technician Robert Facio was excellent, he was on time and bid the job a variety of different ways. We agreed on which path forward to take and he completed the work same day. He even marked off where the studs were for installing the electric car charger on the wall, even though we declined to have him do that portion of the work that he quoted for. He installed the outlet and showed me the voltages with an ohmmeter and showed me the work done at the fuse box before reassembling the panel. I was very pleased, definitely worth the price and he went above and beyond! I am a thoroughly satisfied customer, I will be using this company's services in the future due to our excellent experience.

We had Mr. Electric inspect our home for any electrical issues before putting it on the market.  They sent out John Russo to do the (free) inspection.  Before he arrived they sent us an email with John's picture and a short biography so we would know who was coming to our home.  John called us when he was on his way and arrived on time.  John was great showing us what needed to be done, and we worked out with him what we could do ourselves and what we would have him do on his next visit.  Again, they sent out reminders that John would be coming over, and John called us before arriving.  He made all the necessary changes and checked to make sure that the ones my husband had done were done correctly.  We can't say enough good things about our experience.  John is personable, courteous and does a great job!

This is my second review for Mr Electric. My experience this time was just as stellar as the first one. Mr Eric Mabry was wonderful! He was vey knowledgeable and professional. He was punctual and very conscientious about his work. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism. He fixed an electrical issue we were having quickly and at a lower cost than I expected. I would definitely request his help again.

John Russo just left our home.  It's a Saturday morning and at about 8am we realized that the lighting in one wing of our house wasn't working.  After failed attempts to reset the tripped circuit we called Mr. Electric.   John arrived at our home about 20 minutes later.  He was courteous, quickly determined the cause of the problem, clearly explained everything and got it fixed.  It's now 10am and we can go about our Saturday!  Yay!  Would definitely hire again.

Courteous and efficient. The reason for the 2 stars is the cost. 169$ to hang each pendant and I had two (wire already in place) plus 320$ total to exchange the master BR vanity light! I got 2 simple light fixtures to go in there. Plus another 169$ to exchange the other BR light fixture... The only decent price was the dining room chandelier (it was already assembled) so the bill was yes 169$ They wanted close to 1000$ for all. I let them do the dining room and the pendants because I didn't want to wait. This company is super expensive. I'm still looking for an electrician to hang my simple BR lights...

Robert came to install an outlet for the new Tesla and checked out a couple fans that we were having troubles with. Very friendly, courteous, professional, and easy to talk to. Took a quick look at our fans and reprogrammed them. It was a fast fix to an annoying problem. Then he installed the outlet quickly and proved his work when finished. Very happy with them and would definitely use Robert again!

I was referred to Mr. Electric by a home inspector who said, they're the best and they did not disappoint. We had a big job and Robert Facio showed up early and worked outside on the roof all day long. He was courteous and professional and did a beautiful job of making it look like it was always there. Lots of conduit was used to run a line and he did a very nice job. I'd use them again without hesitation.

Jim Baker was awesome to work with! I just requested an estimate to run some electric to my garage and install coach lights. During Jim's complimentary safety inspection, he noticed an issue with my breaker box, as well as many outlets in locations requiring GFCIs, not having them. Jim wrote an estimate and came back two days later to do the work. In the course of doing the work, he found several issues, including a pretty bad safety hazard. Jim showed me that the outlet in my master bath was not wired properly--the wire casing was melted and the actual outlet had brown scorch marks. Had he not found this issue, the outlet would have eventually started a fire. Thanks Jim for being so thorough. I would recommend Jim to anyone.

Mauricio was on-time, courteous and did a great job.  Makes life much easier when this happens. Would definitely use these guys again!

John Russo of Mr. Electric came out to correct some wiring issues discovered during a recent home inspection.  Years before, someone spliced wiring together in multiple locations throughout the attic and failed to utilize proper junction boxes thus creating a dangerous wiring monster. Yikes!  John climbed through the attic skillfully, braving the scorching Arizona summer heat, slayed the wiring monster, and corrected the issues.  Success!  Before he left, he also installed some GFI's and ensured outlets were properly grounded.  More success!  John was responsive, professional, and completed the job quickly and at a fair price.  5 stars!  Thanks John!

I was recommended to call Mr. Electric by a person that uses them for many projects.  Seems like they have two sets of prices.  I needed a 3-way switch installed. They wanted $260 for 15-20 minutes of work.  Unbelievable. He never physically gave me any paper or e-mail with the actual quote it seemed a little odd.  Buyer beware.

Albert Rehm was extremely professional and courteous from the moment he entered my home. He walked us through different options and pricing for our project and was able to complete the work right away.  He did a fantastic job! We are extremely happy and would highly recommend Albert at Mr. Electric!!

I am very pleased with the service and professionalism of Albert Rhem.  He installed 3 fans and returned several weeks later to adjust one that was clicking.  He was very responsive to my email, and it was easy to tell that he is an honest man.

Maurico was excellent. However the problem, though not his fault, could not be fixed. Diagnostic fee of $172 was far, far too high.

Update. Owner called, apologized & promised to refund the $172.

I noticed a Mr. Electric truck on my street and approached the electrician to ask for a card.  His name was Albert Rehm, and he was polite, professional and friendly.  Later that day, I checked with my neighbor who had Albert out that day for service, and got a great recommendation.  I called the office, and Jennifer helped set up my appointment for Albert to come out to my house to fix a short in one of our ceiling fans that was shutting off the electricity to an entire section of our house.

Jennifer was also super polite, professional and friendly -- a real pleasure to talk to on the phone!  On the day of service, Albert called when he was on his way, arrived on time, fixed the problem we were havingpretty quickly and then checked out our entire house to make certain we won't be having any unwanted surprises down the road.  Albert did a terrific job, and we will be recommending him and Mr. Electric to our neighbors, friends and family.

Great service!!! Kenny came out to the house today to fix an electrical problem with the irrigation timer in the pool light. Kenny was efficient,  very knowledgeable and personable. I was looking enough to get same-day service which was terrific! This is why we use Mr. electric exclusively for all of my electrical issues

Corey Hightower is an excellent electrician!!!  He is very dependable, showed up on time, pleasant, easy to talk to (down to earth), most importantly very knowledgeable on safety and detailed installation.  Our family HIGHLY RECOMMENDS Corey Hightower for all electrical services!!!

First, compliments to Jennifer at Mr. Electric for having a technician come out so quickly, and on a Friday. Second, compliments and kudos to Eric Mabry, the technician. He was AWESOME! He called about 45 minutes before arriving, then was right on schedule and went right to work. It was evident that he knew what his was doing. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge and desire to find the issue and FIX it. He was neat, professional and courteous. We apologized for having to take up his Friday afternoon and he told us that this was his last day on the job, and that he was staring a new job on Monday. That's great news for him and we could tell he loved what he does. While we congratulated him it is sad that in the future we won't be able to request his services. However, we have used Mr. Electric in the past and that tech was also excellent, and we have every confidence that should the need arise again, we will be completely satisfied with anyone coming to our home from this fantastic company. Love that they email a picture and bio of who is coming to your home! Nice touch, Mr. Electric.

Jim was such an amazing installer! He installed 4 ceiling fans in our upstairs that had no previous lighting fixtures meaning he had to wire through the attic and run wires down through walls for switches.  It was about 110 degrees outside that day and I'm not sure how hot it was in that attic!!  Then he ran into some challenges that forced him to cut into the drywall in several places.  He tried to minimize the cutting and even offered to give me the name of a great drywall guy.  Great job Jim and thanks!!

I would give them zero stars, but I did get a lovely confirmation email after I filled out the request for appointment form on their web site.

Robert Facio is a great technician.  He worked methodically through adding two outlets inside of my garage, and then straightened out an island sink cabinet where the disposal wires ran across the bottom shelf, making the cabinet all but useless.  Robert reran the cables and probably fixed 2-3 code violations at the same time.  It is nice to see someone take pride in their work.   Thank you!!!!

James Baker did an outstanding job of installing a bathroom extractor fan.  He was extremely neat and careful, as well as very expert in adapting the fan I'd purchased to my existing duct work.  I will be specifically requesting him for all future electrical work.  Thank you Mr. Electric for employing such skilled technicians.

I have had Mr Electric work on several lighting/electrical issues over the years and they never fail to do a good job.  Today was no exception.  Mr Robert Facio came out today to install a new electrical outlet in the eaves of my house and to install a new timer for my outside lights.  He completed the projects sooner than expected, cleaned up when he was done and took the time to explain how best to use the timer.  Exception service and I will use them for any upcoming electrical work I need.

Hired them to come out and repair Generator, came out charged me 279. Said would have an estimate same day or next, week later never heard from them.  Total rip off

I love these guys. They are friendly and professional and perform quality and honest work. We had them do our house inspection which resulted in the seller getting us a brand new electrical panel. We also had them come out to install lighting and an outlet in the backyard. Their technician Robert came over and explained everything to us thoroughly and worked through the heat to get the job done just as we wanted it. He was courteous and friendly. We loved him and are happy with the lights in our backyard. I highly recommend. Them for any job, especially Robert!

Installation of three ceiling fans.  All aspects of dealing with Mr. Electric were first rate.  The lady on the phone was very pleasant and knowledgeable and she was able to answer all my questions and schedule the appointment at my convenience.  The electrician who performed the three ceiling fan installations was Corey and he could not have been nicer.  He was professional, friendly, and completed the job with the utmost care and cleaned up any wrapping materials.  I will definitely call Mr. Electric in the future for installations and any electrical issues.

Overall, an excellent experience from a quality organization that obviously prides itself on customer satisfaction. From my initial contact to schedule an appointment, through the completion of the work by Corey - I could not ask for more. Corey was awesome, friendly and took his time to explain the scope of work and complete the work in a quality manner. I was also impressed with the technology they use for quoting, emailing of quotes, schedule confirmations, etc. It was seamless and convenient.

We used Mr. Electric to relocate a ceiling fan in the house.  Corey was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The light fixture in our living room where we were putting in the fan was improperly installed and could have fallen through the ceiling dry wall at any time!  Corey installed the proper fan-rated brace and helped us prevent a potentially dangerous accident.  He answered a bunch of my electrical questions around the house and gave us multiple quotes for future jobs.  Definitely recommend Mr. Electric and plan on using them over and over again.

Added surge potectors.  Robert the tech called before coming, sent a profile of his experience and showed up on time.  Job was completed with great care taken to do the job right.  Answered all my questions.  Very happy with the service.

I recently purchased a home that had old brass antique chandaliers about 25 feet high.  I had a tough time finding an electrician that would replace these.  I must've gone through 3-4, including handiman services and nobody could even refer me to the right person.  Went to Home Depot and they referred me to Mr. Electric.  They were great, for 3 lights all over 25 feet high, they charged around 400 bucks and did the job perfectly.  They are extremely professional.  The second job was the replacement of four switches, but they charged over 200 bucks for that which I though was excessive.  But still very professional, gets the job done, and a pleasure to deal with.

Very good service, and with a smile! Have used Mr Electric on 3 different occasions since moving to Phoenix area several months ago. They are quick to respond to requests for estimate, and in some cases they can do the work on the same day! Our service man was friendly and professional. Always on time for appointment and always cleaned up after work was finished. Have used them for ceiling light wiring/installation, adding outlets, hanging flat screen TV (with hidden electric outlet) among other things.

Mr Electric has never let me down. I had a great experience with them when I was in New Mexico and now that I'm living in the valley I went to them again and I wasn't disappointed. I called them for a quote to move my stove and microwave outlets to another wall as I was renovating my Kitchen. Albert Rehm was punctual and reviewed the work and gave me a quote the same day. When I agreed to the quote they scheduled the service and let me know that Albert would be doing the work. On the day of the service Albert called to let me know when he would arrive and as with the quote he was punctual and got right to work. After reviewing what he would be doing with me he moved both services, replaced the drywall he had to modify and cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend Mr Electric if you have work to be done. They are professional, prompt, and financially reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

Called to make an appointment after reading positive reviews.  The people who I had dealings with (receptionist, scheduler, etc.) were EXTREMLEY pleasant which is a surprise in this day and age.  Today Albert (electrician) arrived to the work.  He gave me an estimate immediately which I though was a little high but decided to use him.  WHAT A SUPER GUY- knowledgable, polite and tries to please.  This company is AMAZING.  I would use Albert and Mr Electric again and again.  This is the ONLY electrician to use in the greater Phoenix area.  Thank you Albert for a job well done!

Tom came out to wire electric to a sink water heater for a restroom.  He was on time, quick, efficient, pleasant and easy to deal with.  What more could a person want?  I love Mr. Electric as they solved my problem of finding an electrician i could count on to do the job, do it right and not charge an arm, leg and first born child.  thank you again!  Tom is terrific!!

I just had a ceiling fan installed by Mr. Electric and the experience was amazing. Corey was the technician. They were scheduled to come between 10-2pm and they told me Corey would call 1/2 hour before arriving. He called at 9:30 on the nose and was here at 10am. He put booties on before entering the house and verified the price that I was quoted through Home Depot. After the install, we realized the only available wall switch for the light on the ceiling fan was powering our power couch. He asked if I wanted him to make that the designated switch for the fan and leave the power to the couch on (which we always do anyway). I said yes and he took care of it. No extra charge. Then he asked what I wanted to do with the old fan. Garbage pick up was the same day so I said I'd just throw it out. He disassembled the fan for me and took it out to the garbage. (And even though I cut through my grass on the way out there, Corey went around it... ha ha!) Not sure how much Corey is making... but he deserves a raise :). I'll use you guys again and be sure to evangelize your excellent work.
