This was a great experience with Mountain Park Plumbing.  I thought I would need a whole new toilet installed when my four year old one got a crack all the way across the tank.  But Matt suggested calling the toilet supplier, American Standard, to see if they might still be able to ship me just the tank portion.  They did, at no cost!  This saved me several hundred dollars and replacing the whole toilet.  I called Matt back when the tank arrived and he sent a very nice plumber out to install it for me.  Nice people, smart ideas, great workmanship, thank you Mountain Park Plumbing!

Have used MPP twice now once for re-routing some plumbing in our powder room and recently for installing a new hose bib. They're fast, friendly and efficient. Doesn't get much better than this.

These guys are awesome!  Although it is not usually a fun situation when I have to call them, they always make things as painless as possible.  They are quick to answer the phone or to return messages, will usually be there the same or next day, and are as friendly as can be.  Honest, fair, knowledgeable, and dependable.  I never feel pressured to have anything done that I may not need yet at the same time they are full of helpful advice.  

Just a few of the things they have helped me with . . . Indoor floods, outdoor floods, bathroom leaks, leaks behind the wall, kitchen sink & toilet repair, and even FROZEN WATER PIPES (Does that really happen in AZ? you may ask yourself . . . and the answer is YES . . . it happens to me!)

When temperatures dropped below freezing one night, they were at my house within an hour after my phone call and had my water running again before I even knew they had arrived.  It was an easy fix for the professionals and the most amazing part, when I went to get my credit card, they replied Courtesy call, no charge, have a nice day!

Once I called about a flood in my backyard.  I was at work and couldn't get there until 4pm.  They already had the problem fixed by the time I arrived home from work! I can't say enough good things!  Call them for all of your plumbing needs!

I was very impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of Matt and Jake at Mountain Park Plumbing.  Before they came out, they made sure they knew what replacement parts were needed so that 2 service calls would not be needed.

Great plumber and business. I felt Matt was honest and fair with the quoted price for work.  He communicated well, sending me the estimate right away and when he was going to be late on the day of the job he text me with updates on being 10 minutes late.  Prior to the actual work he clarified and confirmed what needed to be done and completed the job in less than an hour.  He is very personable and does quality work at a fair price.  I will use him again and recommend him highly!

I called Mountain Park Plumbing for a kitchen faucet and valve replacement (crusted with mineral deposits) Monday afternoon.  They got us an appointment at 10 AM the next day.  Jake arrived right on time and did a great job for a fair price.  Even better, I had forgotten to give Jake the Yelp $35 off coupon.  I called back and Matt applied the discount after the fact.  Thanks Matt!  I will use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Had a pretty small routine job to get done but unfortunately, my landlord made it incredibly difficult to get done efficiently.  Matt and TJ were extremely professional and patient despite me having to reschedule multiple times.  Could not recommend these guys more highly, great plumbers providing very professional service!

I've had Mountain Park Plumbing come on 3 occasions.  The first time, Matt and Mike came and inspected a one-time shower leak incident we had from our second floor that we couldn't reproduce, in a guest bathroom we never use.  They found some cracks in the shower grout that one of our guests must have turned the showerhead towards, and recommended filling that in.  They left without charging anything... very unexpected!

I generally try to handle basic plumbing problems myself--I've replaced my water heater and the kitchen sink faucet.  But I was consistently having issues with leaking at the drain above the garbage disposal, despite multiple attempts to reseal it.  Mike and Fabian took one look at it, and said it was a cheap garbage disposal that probably wouldn't ever be leak free again.  As soon as they showed me a replacement one, it fully made sense why ours (the one we bought the house with) was poorly designed and was at its end-of-life.  They quick replaced it, and charged a reasonable fee.

Prior to them leaving, I asked for a quote for installing a water softener, when we already had the plumbing set up to install one.  Three months later, Mike and Fabian came out and replaced it, and charged exactly what they had said.  Painless.  

These guys are great.  I would recommend them to anyone who is in the Chandler area.  Only mistake I've seen them make is they forgot to open one of the valves on the water heater after installing the water softener, but that took all of 15 seconds to figure out, so not a big deal.  I'm sure if I couldn't figure it out, they would have been right back out to fix it ASAP.

Matt came out same day to give me a quote, which was WAY more reasonable than any others.  He was on site 2 days later to do the work. He and crew were done before noon. Highly recommend!!!

I had Mountain Park Plumbing out today to fix a broken valve under the kitchen sink and the main valve that supplies the house.  Both valves were broken and not working.  They showed up on time, were courteous, finished quickly, and charged a fair amount.  I would certainly use them again.

Blown away by the customer service by Matt.  I messaged him through the Yelp app about the cost to install an offset toilet flange.  He messaged back for me to call so he could ask a few more questions before providing the quote.

I called and spoke with Matt in detail about what I was looking for and he was able to provide a quote over the phone.  He also offered to drop by and take a look at my issue for no charge.  Honestly, I haven't found a plumber to date that makes free, in-home estimates.

Matt was able to stop over just a few hours after speaking with him.  He had a look at the issue and was able to confirm his over-the-phone-quote was good (which was over $50 less than a quote I received days earlier).  I also had him look at a spa-tub that was improperly installed to get his opinion on what to do about it.  He gave me some great advice and pointed out a few extra issues I hadn't picked up on.

Lastly, as he is leaving through the front door, he points out that the drain pipe to my water heater is leaking.  I had just emptied my water heater 2 days ago and didn't bother to check if it was leaking after refilling it.  He gave me a few things to try to resolve the issue, but if it continued to leak, gave me a price to fix it in addition to the toilet flange repair.

Well, after I gave the pressure release valve on my water heater a few light taps with a hammer , the leak stopped... crisis averted.  I then call Matt again regarding his availability to perform the work on the toilet flange, which he could have scheduled only 2 days later.  However, (without getting into the details), I asked him ...if this were your house, what would you do?.  He replied that he would NOT have the toilet flange work performed if it were his own house.  This answer to my question meant after 2 phone calls and a trip out to my house that he made exactly zero dollars from me.

I'll definitely be calling Matt for future plumbing needs.

** I know this sounds like I was paid to provide this review, but these are simply the facts.

I called Mountain Park Plumbing at 3:00 today (Sunday) and they answered.  They expressed a willingness to come help me today if necessary.  After hearing a description of the problem, the gentleman I was speaking with walked me through a step-by-step diagnosis over the phone and actually explained how I could fix the problem with very little effort.  Talk about going the extra mile.  He fixed my problem over the phone for free even though it meant costing him money.  I am impressed.  I highly recommend Mountain Park Plumbing!!

This is your plumbing company! We have been using Mountain Park Plumbing for at least 15 years (Matt's Dad owned it when we started). My stories of honesty, professionalism, job amazingly done, timeliness showing up to the job, timeliness getting the job done once you place the phone call, and industry-fair pricing are endless! We have three houses that Mountain Park services - these houses are in the best hands when they are there. I love these guys so much that there are times that I'm not even home and they are there without me. I just give them the garage code.

One more thing that I love...they pet my dogs and talk nicely to them when they're here! :-)

STAY AWAY FROM MOUNTAIN PARK PLUMBING! Horrible! I regret recommending these so-called plumbers to my friends. If you want a totally 100% UNprofessional, disrespectful experience, then by all means, call them. Otherwise, find a reputable, PROFESSIONAL, and most of all respectable plumber (yes, they do exist-trust me)!
Here's what happened:
plumber from Mountain Park Plumbing shows up at my friend's home, and was kindly offered shoe coverings by my friend, (who never allow shoes in her home), and instead of him saying a polite, thank you, this rude guy replied, my shoes are clean, with a snarky attitude. UNREAL!  Needless to say, he did put them on at the insistence of my friend. Now, he also refused to wear a facemask, stating (with another snarky attitude) I'm unvaccinated.  I highly doubt it because he was at my other friends house just a few weeks ago, wearing a face mask!! Go figure! And by, the way, this is NOT his home! Rude!
Bottom line: when a contractor (or anyone for that matter), enters a customers house, they need to RESPECT THEIR HOUSE,  and abide by THE CUSTOMERS wishes, not his own!!

Mountain Park Plumbing is awesome.  Richard helped me when I was getting ready to purchase a property.  There were some plumbing concerns noted by the property inspector.   Richard looked at the pictures from the inspection and told us what needed to be done, what was cosmetic and optional and gave us a price.  His guys were on time, which is great when you are trying to co-ordinate different people coming to a new house.  They replaced valves and piping, cleaned up the area under the kitchen sink and made it look better than we found it.  They even disposed of the old water softener that was left in the garage that had been previously disconnected.

Matt supplied and installed a 50 gal. water heater for what I felt was a fair price.  the water heater worked o.k. for approximately 9 or 10 months when the sediment began to clog the shower heads in both bath roomsl.  I was very concerned about the warranty and weather Mountain Park Plumbing would assist in replacing the heater.  I was also concerned that Matt would charge me again for installing a replacement.     Matt and his assistant showed up and spent  2 hours replacing the anode rod and removing the sediment from each of the plugged faucets.  Matt explained that water softeners  hasten the deterioration of anode rods which are designed to protect the metal lining of the water heater tank from corrosion over time.  I was very happy that Matt understood 9 or 10 months was a bit premature, but not that unusual.  Not only did he not charge me for any of the time he and his assistant spent fixing the problem, he also replaced a part in the shower that could not be unplugged.   I would without hesitation recommend Matt's Mountain Park Plumbing  because of his integrity and fairness.

I have used MPP for many years and have always been very satisfied!  They are on time, honest price and quality work!  Today I called and said I can't get my shower drain unplugged even after I had put some drain cleaner in.  I was calling MPP to have a guy come over.  Matt told me to try to plunger it first and that it should work.  If it works it would save me $125.00 for a visit and clean out.  It worked.  Customer service doesn't get any better than that!

We have used Mountain Park plumbing twice now and both have been wonderful experiences. We had our main water line replaced and a leaking kitchen faucet replaced.  Both repairs we had quotes from other companies and Mountain Park was was much cheaper. Matt has been extremely nice and helpful each time I've called him- even calling me back after hours. Thankful to have a plumbing company we can trust!

I cannot day enough how professional, honest and courteous Fabian is!   He fixed a leak I had under my kitchen sink due to a bad faucet.   At the same time replaced my garage disposal too (my request).   Mountain Park Plumbing was a recommendation from a friend and I will be sure to pass on the word that this is a reliable and reasonable company!

I highly recommend Mountain Park Plumbing because the owner, Matt, is clearly honest, extremely experienced, respectful/professional, and prices are VERY fair! Do not hesitate to give him a call!

Integrity on steroids!  Matt promptly returned my call.  I explained my problem. He gave me a troubleshooting idea to solve my issue without having to pay him to come to my house.  I literally had to pause for a bit.  I was so taken aback that a plumber would try to save me money and teach me how to fix my something over the phone.  I think I even said, something to the effect of did you really just help me and don't want to take my money?  I've never heard of that!  

Anyway, enough gushing....  the idea he gave me was actually the perfect solution.  Matt saved me $150 plus.

My elderly mother lives in a condo that has elderly plumbing, which caused a major overflow temporarily repaired by the building handyman. We thought she might need to replace the whole toilet, so I sent her a recent featured article Change of Thrones from my SF-Bay Area Nov, 2013 Angie's List magazine.

How fortuitous! After a careful read, my Mom discovered that Amy Phillips of Mountain Park Plumbing is quoted! She located their phone number and in a very short time that same day, Richard Phillips knocked on her door, noted my Mom's distress and began to assess the troubling toilet. He proceeded to investigate and then solve the problem without having to replace the throne.

My Mom was THRILLED! Also, he told her there would be no charge for this first house call and promised that Mountain Park Plumbing would be happy to solve any future plumbing problem anytime.. just give him a call!

Now THAT's what I call EXCELLENT service! Prompt, professional, competent and he instilled a great deal of confidence in my mother who knows absolutely nothing about plumbing.

This is just a note of thanks for the great, professional, friendly and fairly priced work conducted at my home yesterday and today. The guys were awesome and the work well done!

I talked to a couple other plumbing companies and reached out to a few others before making the decision to hire Mountain Park. The others were arrogant, very expensive or they just couldn't be bothered to return my contact via phone/email.

It is rare to have service providers actually schedule a specific time AND actually show up when they say they will!

Kudos to Mountain Park for great training and hiring great people!

I've used MPP in the past but it had been quite sometime.  Again, they delivered amazing service.  I had a dripping bathroom faucet (and a increasing water bill) and the shutoff under the sink was stuck. I spoke to Matt on the phone and he was able to get TJ scheduled for the same day :) I had also reinstalled some faucet handles that had fallen off and didn't do a great job - called Matt back - asked if those could be corrected too - yep no problem.    TJ arrived exactly as scheduled and completed everything within 30 minutes.  These guys are incredibly professional but also just easy going and genuinely nice, informative and honest. Pricing is reasonable and their work is quality every single time!  Thanks MPP you guys are what all home improvement/repair companies should strive to be!

Have used Mountain Park Plumbing three times now and love how friendly, professional and efficient they are. I always appreciate when service professionals treat me the same as my husband -- they don't assume I'm ignorant when it comes to things like plumbing and electrical. These guys tell it to you straight.

Had a main water line break in the front yard that my landscaper couldn't fix, so I immediately called MPP.  Fabian and Matt came out within a couple of hours and advised that they couldn't find the line under where the visible leak was on the surface and feared the break was under a massive mesquite, with the only options to excavate under the tree or run an entire new main line to the house. Ouch!

But on further investigation they found the actual break was on the other side of the tree, in a line that had been broken and mis-repaired by a certain telephone company when they replaced a telephone junction box a couple of years ago. One PVC pipe-to-coupling joint had no glue on it, and had leaked slowly until the ground got soft enough that it blew apart.  MPP repaired the shoddy job and everything is good, for WAY less than the cost of a new main line.  

If you want it done right, call these guys!

PS - Claim filed with the telephone company.  They'll get another one if anything happens to the tree.

Matt and his team were efficient, respectful and very reasonably priced. We found our go to plumbing team!

No-nonsense is most accurate description of these plumbers.  I'ved used them twice already, and each time they come out promptly and on time, tell me exactly what they are going to do and they get it done quickly and efficiently, even if they have to contract some of the work out with another contractor (Needed to saw into slab to fix a leak).

Pleasure dealing with them.

It's always nice to see that a business has so many customers that they do not need any more.  spoke to Matt who said that he would come by, but could tell that he really wanted to push an appointment until next week stating its Friday.  I received the old no call, no show.

Matt was great to work with. He responded quickly to my request for an appointment in Ahwatukee, and got out quickly since my main water line was broken and leaking badly. He couldn't do the major repair the day he visited, but he immediately got water to the house working temporarily until he could return to do the whole job a few days later. Including having to cut the driveway to get a line from the street to the house, there was also a fair amount of landscape tear up. Matt and his crew got everything looking great again before they left, and it felt really good working with someone so professional and trustworthy. I definitely recommend Mountain Park Plumbing and will use them again!

Outstanding!  Matt was very prompt and professional giving me an estimate.  The quote was very fair & reasonable. The crew that then performed the work were likewise very professional.  I can't recall the last time a contractor actually took their shoes off to make sure they kept the floors clean, raked landscape rocks away before digging and dumping dirt on them to ensure they were all clean when putting them back in place.  Everything was perfect right down to the newly added plumbing connections being tucked out of the way so you would never have known they were there.  Highly recommended company, great job!!!

Friendly, efficient, honest, and the best of all, you get an actual appointment time, instead of a  3 hour window!!  I called for repair on a clogged kitchen sink, and they first explained how I could fix it myself. (Can you say honest?)  Because I am mechanically challenged and tool deficient, I scheduled them to come do the repair.  They gave me an appointment within 24 hours, and the next day called twice to offer earlier appointments.  Super nice.  I will only call them in the future for my plumbing needs!

The overall experience was phenomenal.  The plumber showed-up a couple of minutes early.  He was very efficient, addressing all four of my issues within an hour.  He did a wonderful job, explaining each issue and how he was going to resolve each item.  His pricing was about a third of the cost I was expecting to pay.  While everything I explained so far is enough to share, what resonated the most was the integrity aspect.  Rather than replacing an entire faucet, he spent time trying to fix the issue, which allowed me to return a brand new faucet (saving $85).  Additionally, we discussed the possibility of doing additional, non-urgent work.  Rather than taking the opportunity to start this work and make more money, his recommendation was to wait until I began a larger project and saved me a few hundred dollars in the long run.  

Matt is a great plumber and an even better person...!  I will definitely use this organization for years to come.

I had a few plumbers coming out to inspect a leak in the tub, Matt is the most knowledgeable and thorough person out of all of them. His quote is reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend  him and use him again.

I am a repeat customer of Mountain Park Plumbing.  They have replaced a water heater and also the pressure valve in the front of my house to regulate the water main in from the city.  I recently had them out to replace a tub spigot I could not get off.  As usual, Matt showed up on time and he was friendly and courteous as always.  Matt got the spigot off, explained issues and cleaned up work area.  Final bill was what was quoted.  A bonus was the fixture Matt used was really nice.  I will use them again and refer them to others in the Ahwatukee Area.

Never bothered returning my call or email.  It's great if you're busy,  but have someone reply to inquires or at least say you're too busy for more work at this time.
