ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I have been involved in the construction industry for 30 years. Primarily in the finish trades, focusing on new home build and remodels. For the last 17 years I was with a national company as General Manager overseeing the wood railing and ornamental Iron division for Arizona. In mid 2018 I acquired Ironman Pool Fence. I am looking forward to using my construction experience, business acumen & dedication to quality workmanship with our products to grow the fence and ornamental iron divisions of this company.

We are very happy with the new iron gate which Ironman Pool Fence provided to us recently, on Feb. 2, 2023 to be precise. Karson was punctual, courteous, and friendly. We wanted a specific pattern of the scrolls on top of the gate, he made sure that our new gate had that very design. We were told that the wait time was four weeks, the gate was delivered and installed exactly four weeks later. The gate is solid and of good quality and the price was very competitive. We would definitely use Ironman Pool Fence again for our future needs. We highly recommend Ironman Pool Fence to others.
Add me to the long list of dissatisfied customers. I had used Ironman a couple of times in the past and they did a terrific job every time and met their promised schedule. Not realizing the company had been sold, I contacted them again for my new house. Oy vey....after months of cancellations, I gave up. Save yourself the ultimate aggravation and disappointment and call some other fence company.
These guys are awesome! I contacted Rick at Ironman for a wrought iron fence and gate job, and they were all over it. They were easy to schedule with, had a reasonable turn-around time, and I think the quality and value are excellent.
Everyone at Ironman was a pleasure to deal with, but special shout out to Rick and Karson, who answered all of my questions and completed my job as promised. Karson was my sales rep, and he did a fantastic job. Delivered everything just as they promised.
Very professional, organized and on-time company, which is rare these days.

I purchased it thru Lowes for $2200 RV Gate. They came out and installed it. After about 60 days, the gate wouldn't close. Came out, fixed it. After another 60 or so days, the gate didn't close again. Came out, fixed. The 3rd time, they came out, said we can't fix the gate, it's your problem. Lowes said the same thing. Be very careful when they install it because if they screw it up, it's your problem to fix.
Ironman put in our new pool fence and we have gotten so many compliments on it. We liked the fact that they construct the fence to order, and have the option of puppy pickets. We placed our order initially in October, but due to other unrelated delays and weather just had it put in. Between Oct and July they were out to the house a few times to talk about options and remeasure. The crew that they sent (Lou Coronado?) was great. My hubby is super picky and they were very patient and willing to make sure it was done right.
Pool Fences Saves Lives is what this business truck says all over it. Since it should say Pool Fences Save Lives, I cannot even think to call this company to do work for me. Fix your truck.

Absolutely horrible service. We have been waiting over 6 months for our fence and they scheduled it this week to be installed and called the day before and said the product was out of stock. What?? Terrible. Same thing happened to our friend. Even the owner came out twice to measure the job 3 months ago. Very disappointing that we have to start over with a new company and process. Never would recommend. We have heard multiple complaints about them since we shared our experience. Owner was suppose to call us and never did.

Excellent customer service! All the folks who I spoke to at Ironman were courteous and helpful. They worked with me to fix a series of mistakes from Lowe's. If I ever need fencing or a gate in the future, I will skip working with Lowe's and go right to Ironman.
I'm shocked that some people gave Ironman Pool Fence low reviews! They were great to work with! We have a home in Sun City Grand and our homeowner's association is very strict. Tom, my salesman, went so far as to go to my association with me to make sure the colors were correct and everything was to their specifications. He made sure my gate self closed, so I don't have to worry about anyone leaving it open and my dogs getting out without my knowledge. My neighbors rave about my fence. I HIGHLY recommend Ironman Pool Fence for any of your fencing needs. I also purchased a front gate from them. Mine is so much nicer than others I have seen. No need to hesitate buying from this company.

Unfortunately I will never know whether this is a good company to work with or not since I requested an estimate twice for a portable pool fence and a RV gate for our yard. It has been several weeks with no one contacting me at all. Apparently they do not need any new business and will not receive mine.
I cannot comment on their work because we were supposed to have a fence installed tomorrow but that won't be happening.
Deposit paid and job scheduled over 3 weeks ago, I called to get a timeframe for our install that was scheduled for tomorrow. I was informed the mesh for our fence hasn't arrived so our job won't be installed as scheduled and they weren't able to give me an estimate of when the materials will arrive or the job completed.
Horrible customer service, I will be requesting a refund of our deposit and taking our business elsewhere. Especially disappointing since we were referred to this company by a close friend.

Rick and his team were amazing to work with. During our pool building phase we were crunched for time with our HOA, pool contractors, and landscaping. They worked with our tight schedules and made magic happen. The quality of our two new gates are fantastic and our neighbors are envious! I would use them again and would recommend them for your fencing and gates.
Used this company for a dog run in my new house. Affordably priced, good customer service and knowledgeable sales reps.

While the fence quoting process and installation was satisfactory, the follow up has been awful. We noticed rusting after about two years, just after the warranty. We contacted them and they said the GM would come out to view it. He never showed. When I contacted them they asked for pictures instead, so I sent them. The GM replied within a day and said the sprinklers caused the rust and some maintenance would be required. I replied and asked what maintenance, and questioned asked for advice on how to prevent it in the future. 3 weeks have gone by with no reply, despite multiple follow ups. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I made an appointment on-line for an estimate and was contacted by e-mail requesting my physical address and what time I preferred. The appointed time came and went with no salesman, so I called the company and was told they had no record of the appointment. I didn't like it, but to be fair I rescheduled for the next day between 1 and 4pm. At 3:45pm I called the company to make sure the salesman was coming and was informed that they had no record of the appointment.
Good luck maintaining a business with customer service like this!
Less than 5 years ago, I had Chris from Ironman Pool Fence install a pool fence in a house we had just bought. I thought he did a good job designing the fence and I was happy with it for a little while but it didn't take long for it to start rusting. I called about 6 months or so ago because the rust had gotten so bad it has completely broken apart the pole from where it is screwed in and I was informed that they only have a two year warranty and it wouldn't be covered under warranty. She said she could have someone come and take a look at it and they would call me but no one ever called. I called again on Monday and said that I would really like someone to come and take a look at the fence to try and fix it since it's affecting how the pool gate locks and she said to email some pictures over and they would take a look at them and call me back. No one ever called back, and I even asked in the email if they could give me some sort of time frame for when I would hear from someone.
Very disappointed in the product, beyond disappointed in their customer service. I even gave their number to a realtor friend looking for recommendations for her clients, and now I feel sick about sending anyone to this company!!!
Good quality, until something breaks, that is.
The company that did the original install of my pool fence was bought out by Ironman. I discovered this when the magnetic lock/latch failed after 2 years. Ironman covered the lifetime warranty (of Guardian Pool Fence) by replacing the magna-latch for the cost of a service call (I guess the warranty either isn't 100%, or only good for someone else's lifetime). After another 2 years, the magna-latch failed again. This time, Ironman would replace the unit for $75, with 50% down payment. Incredible. YOU CAN BUY A MAGNA-LATCH online for less than $75. The lifetime warranty is worthless, so do your homework when buying a pool fence. Getting nickel-and-dimed after the installation for defective parts and materials is equivalent to no warranty at all.
I don't know what else we could have asked from this company. When we reached out, they came within a week to take a look at the renovations we were doing in the backyard. We agreed on what we wanted to do but it would be 5-6 weeks before the fence could be installed. They stayed in touch and as soon as we could schedule, they came out and installed the fence. It thought it looked great but I guess two of the panels were off color. They called that out and came back in about a week to replace those panels. The fence looks great, we are very happy!

These people came to our rescue! We had two weeks to get into our new home and we have two children with autism. These kidos are water seeking and so needless to say I was beyond terrified about moving in. They re-arranged their work schedule and got our fence in 4 weeks early, they put it in on the day we moved in. I cannot stress how thankful I am to this company and their effort to ensure my family's safety.
Mr. McCracken did not want to make things right. I was told there wasn't anything more he would do for me and I needed to contact Lowe's. I am not sure how more was done than was required. It seemed more like the bare minimum was done until Lowe's got involved. I don't know what I got that was extra. I barely could get what I paid for. The crew workers from Ironman Pool Fence cut the electrical line to sprinkler system, poured cement over sprinkler plumbing, sprinkler line and electrical line, originally, did not fabricate gates as ordered, hung one gate crooked where it wouldn't latch properly and left it that way. It took Lowe's getting involved to improve the situation. If it wasn't for Lowe's, things probably wouldn't have ever improved. These gates were ordered way back in the middle of April. The project was supposed to be completed by the middle of May. However, Ironman Pool Fence didn't get the gates installed until July. The owner was rude on the phone and so was his staff. The review isn't about being 40 minutes late. It is about ongoing poor customer service and a series of installation and service issues that continued on for a few months. It was a very disappointing experience.
James at Ironman Poor fence has been completely amazing. James and team bent over backward to ensure I got the fence up in time because my huskies were escaping during my pool construction and the team came out here on a Saturday no less to install the fence. It is a white iron fence and absolutely beautiful! The team that came to install were incredibly professional, great to work with and they had the fence up in a blink. Thank you so much! I am incredibly grateful!
James, the sales rep for Ironman was awesome! Always answered my calls and my questions, and was super accommodating with meeting my wife and I at our new house to do the estimate and figure out the perfect spot for the fence. All along we said we needed the fence installed by June 17th (which was 3 weeks out from when I called him originally), and he said he could make it happen and he did.
The fence looks amazing, it came out perfect. The price was less than expected. We could not have asked for a better experience!
Came to the house and offered me a great quote. Was on point with every aspect from invoice and price to measurement set up to installation. Great company to work with. Would recommend for any fence need.
At first I was really impressed with the prices and ideas they had to offer. I guess you get what you pay for. The crew showed up with a dead drill and tried to leave. I had to give them one of my drills and they still had to come back a week and a half later because the lock they put on was not the correct lock. On top of those head aches the welding is fair at best. My gate is black, the hinges and other random spots were steel, they spray painted about half the steel, when I pointed out the spots they missed they left me the paint can and told me I could touch it up my self. Truly disappointed.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE QUALITY, HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Fence rusting out in less than 2 years. Lady in office said to keep it dry and that the water could be causing this!! HELLO, it's a POOL FENCE FOR CHRIST'S SAKE. In case you Idiots didn't realize.........there's water in and near pools!!
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life!! I have been waiting for 6 weeks for my pool fence to be installed after buying my new home. Finally the day comes and I'm sitting here all morning. No one shows up. I call and find out that they bumped me to the following week. This after I repeatedly stressed how I needed the fence ASAP!!! James had even come out last week and marked up my yard for the fence to be installed today. He remarked how they were getting cancellations left and right and they'd probably be able to move me up earlier, which was great. Now I find out that they just kicked me to next week with no warning! There's obviously a reason they have such horrible reviews. I ignored them because they installed my pool fence about 15 years ago and I was happy. Just goes to show that you need to go with what the reviews state. Of course, no skin off their back. On to the next customer. No care as to the horrible inconvenience they have caused me. Just an OK, we'll refund your money. Nothing whatsoever to even try to make things right. Businesses like this should be penalized for treating customers so poorly!
I had three houses re-fenced, 1 was fine, 1 was very poorly done and not to specifications very sloppy. 1 they damaged the drip irrigation and refused to pay for repair sent one of their crews who did not fix the issue. I had to pay for the replacement of the damaged drip line.
I wouldn't even give them a star! Horrible quality and having to replace our fence after just 4 years! The whole thing is rusted and a mess, peeling and dropping paint all over. They blamed our misted system despite it rusting and peeling nowhere near the misters. They came out once right after the SHORT warranty expired and tried to sand and paint but it didn't help at all. The gate is about to fall off having rusted all the way through at the bottom. Time to spend more money to get it done properly.

It's clear the procedure they use is not properly coating the metal to prevent corrosion, I have disposable lawn furniture that's powder coated with zero rust on it.
Also, I just had my pool replastered and specifically asked them to be very careful with cutting the metal to construct the fence as I didn't want bits of steel getting in the pool and rusting. Of course, bits of steel got in and rusted, staining my new plaster. Fortunately it was only a few small areas, but it's still unacceptable.
Last, they didn't even properly secure the gate. One section has a double door and the only way to keep a child from opening it means I had to zip tie one side in an awkward fashion. Even locked, the gate swings open. Thank goodness my children didn't find out it could have been easily opened before I did.
These are cut rate providers, my guess is their niche is more for dirt cheap homes that just need a cheap barrier up.
Completely disappointed in their customer service. Had a pool fence installed about 2yrs ago, after about a year my fence started rusting and chipping. They sent a team out to sand, replace, and paint parts of the fence. They guys only completed half the job, ran out of paint, and never completed the rest. They left a can of spray paint by my door a couple days later and then shortly later I received a bill for their service. Not even a single phone call from the company to see how things went or schedule the completion. Now, the fence is chipping even worse then before and its only been 6months since their visit. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They have made my beautiful backyard look horrible due to their fencing. Huge bummer because when it was first installed I was highly satisfied but now I just lost out on a chunk of money.

Terrible customer service! I was contacted in a timely fashion to set up an appt for the salesperson to come out and measure (Andrew). He had terrible reading and listening skills and even worse customer service. I was requesting interior work for a custom wrought iron gate at the top of my stairs to protect my son. Andrew seemed surprised it was for the interior of my house, came out and acted as if he didn't want the business and we should get a regular baby gate (and if that worked we already would have done it!), and I also requested pricing to re-powder coat and modify our existing railing and he paid no attention to this. The receptionist followed up with me to verify I received my bid and if I'm ready to move forward (I didn't receive anything and I had to follow up with the sales guy!) and I sent a lengthy email back about how disappointed I was. She apologized and said Jim the owner would be in touch with me. Ha! She sent me a message this morning referring me to a baby proof company. No name, just a number. Seems like this business is getting to big for their britches! Use someone else! This valley is full of competitors who will provide you with good customer service!
And when I do out my pool in they won't get my business either!
A pool fence isn't something that I'd usually oooohhh and ahhhhh over, but let me tell you, we LOVE our fence from Ironman Pool Fence. It's gorgeous - a work of art, really. They followed our instructions precisely, and made us a beautiful, curving fence that hugs the outline of our deck perfectly. The office was a pleasure to deal with, and the fence was installed on time and as promised. A big thank you to Ironman for our beautiful fence! :)
Absolutely horrible service! I had to cancel my order and it took over a month to get final confirmation from someone that it had been handled. Everyone was waiting for someone else to find out and they never called back when they said they would. Then they mailed the refund check to the wrong address and accepted zero responsibility for it and charged me $31 to get a new check sent to me! On top of that, when I went to pick up the check there was a mystery charge for $150 for custom materials and taxes paid. So I was charged for something I didn't receive! Of course, they didn't tell me that when we were on the phone so it was a surprise when I got to their office.
They also asked me to go to the house (with the wrong address) and ask for the check back! REALLY??? You make the mistake and ask me to go to a stranger's house to retrieve it???? I can't even make this stuff up! If I could rank ZERO or LESS I would. Will NEVER use them when we purchase our home and will spend years letting everyone know how they are.

Yes I am a fan of Ironman Pool Fence. They not only build a great pool fence. They are giving back to the valley with free pool fences for those that cant afford one. This is through Phoenix Fire and the KMLE. If you are looking I would stop. These guys are the best around hands down... You will always have one or two customers that you just cant make happy. Believe me when I say Ironman Pool Fence is the best around....... My fence is great!!!!!

Hired them thinking, what a great price and quick turn around time to have my fencing installed. What I learned was that it took them weeks to complete the job they said would take two days, they upcharged me consistently throughout the process, damaged my fencing that was already in place and did not say anything about fixing it or they did it or anything. It was installed beginning of this year, an arrowhead that we paid extra for fell off after 9 months. It fell off not where they welded it but just a defective manufacturer product. They wanted to charge me $75 to just glue on the arrowhead!!! Can you believe that? They claim that their warranty does not apply because it does not just fall off. I agree, but how much force would it take to take one off, more than I could apply to any others on the fence. Sounds like to me that they never will fix anything based on their warranty or will tell you it does not apply to the warranty so they don't have to take responsibility for their cheaply purchased products. There pricing might be great, but their customer service and management are not!!! Save yourself months of stress and headache, and go with any other company. Pay a little more and avoid these people!
I would give zero stars if possible. These people are awful at returning phone calls. Over the course of 6 weeks I called 4 times to get someone to look at my iron gate and no one ever called me back. If they tell you a sales person will call you back just forget it, find someone else. I can't even rate their work because they can't even return a call. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!! By the way a minimum of $650 charge for any repairs----you can get a new gate for that!!! Ridiculous.
The company did a nice job installing my fence and it looks good. I especially appreciated Andrew's attention to detail when it came to preparing the bid, measurements, and explaining to me the variations in materials and the entire process. I also appreciate that he was conscious of my budget and worked with me on that. The company would have gotten five stars, but the install was a day later than what they agreed to.

Don't bother with this company - the selling agent, Chris, did not want to go to our house and evaluate the footage of the fence. I guess it was too far for him. However, he is supposed to cover this area. Weird? I called him back with the footage and left him 3 messages. He never took the effort to call me back. Very disappointing. I guess they don't need your business. I will never recommend this company to anybody. Don't waste your time.
