Gelber's J Painting

Gelber's crew did a fantastic job doing smooth stucco and painting my home to look more modern. They were on time, efficient, and even came back for touch up work. I would highly recommend GJP for any future projects!

They did a fantastic job painting my entire interior walls ceilings and closets! They masked very well and sprayed two worthy coats with great coverage. The clean up and final product was 5 stars.

Although he had a quick response time, his team overpainted and caused drip lines down my garage door.  The garage door will no longer open and even after separating the paint between the panels, it seems to have caused some sort of damage from attempting to open after the paint was already stuck to it.  When I reached out to him to see if he would fix it, he blamed the paint and said it wasn't his fault.  Now I need have my garage door repainted and repaired.

With all the great reviews, I had high hopes. He was one of the only painters I contacted on yelp that actually came out and gave me a bid.

When that is where and good review ends for me. He charge me an extremely high price for what I thought was going to be a professional paint job. How wrong I was. He painted my kitchen cabinets with low quality paint that will have to be redone. He did not use cabinet paint but just reg wall paint. To top it off, he rushed through so fast with no attention to details. I had to call him back twice but there was nothing that could be done but a total redo. Then he did not tape off the walls so the line between the ceiling and wall looks like my kids did it. The whole thing is terrible. Not sure if he was in a rush but please find someone else. Don't overpay for poor quality as I ended up doing. Yelpers, you let me down on this one.

Gelber and his team were very responsive - out the same day to provide a bid and scheduled me a week out for the work. Efficient (very quick) and pleasure to do business with. Great work Gelber!

I hired Gelber and his crew to paint the outside of my house, inside of my garage and some of the brick walls. There was a lot of repairs as well. Gelber was nit only reasonably priced but did a great job in a timely manner.  He did a complete walk through to make sure I was happy.

I had Gelber fix cracks and fallen out pieces of stucco in the ceiling of my backyard patio roof and had it repainted.  He did a great job and was very nice and responsive.  Highly recommend.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a service provider.
I paid this man good money thinking I'd get a quality job based on the reviews.
The only way I can even give 1 star is because he was responsive and showed up when promised.
The job was for interior painting of 2 small bathrooms.  He arrived with plastic to cover the areas he was walking through, which was great. I asked that the vanities and all fixtures be covered. He said yes yes, I have plastic. I assumed he was doing so. Bottom line is, when he said he was done, I walked into the rooms and there was paint everywhere! Splatters all over the vanities, fixtures, door handles...everywhere. He had not covered any of them. He did not even remove the light switch/outlet plates before painting. I am still finding paint. Front door, floor.. event areas he was not painting...everywhere.. the 2nd bathroom literally had paint actively dripping on all of the baseboards. He was not to paint the baseboards. Just the walls. His fix was just a bandaid. There was damage done to door trim from something. Possibly his ladder. I heard quite a bit of ladder banging going on. He took zero responsibility for it. There were so many things that he tried to pass off as job done. For me to have to point obvious things like this out to a so called professional was sickening to me. Before he said he was done he had removed the plastic from the floors. But then came walking back in from outside with the same paint wet paint on his boots hands etc... I paid him the full amount he wanted, but feeling sick about everything. He had broken a shower curtain rod and just left it barely hanging on the wall. Never mentioned a word about it. The wall behind the disguise was gouged and wet paint was rubbed off.
No pride in workmanship here. And not honest.

We contacted Gelber's painting company for a quote on a some stucco for a corroded house corner. They were very professional and provided us a time to meet and was able to evaluate a quote for the work. They provided a quote under the competition and got to work same day on the fix. The quality of the work was superb and he was fast at fixing the hole. He also painted the patch work with some matching paint we had provided him. Overall we are highly satisfied with Gelber's painting company and we cannot wait to use them on our kitchen cabinets! Try them out they are amazing!!! Please note in the picture the paint is still drying.

Compared several different painting vendors from Yelp. Gelber give me a very attractive quote. So I tried it out.  He arrived on time, the work is unbelievable well. Very Professional and very affordable price. I would hire him do all my painting job.

Gelber is a stand up guy! He is honest, very responsive, fair, and an extremely hard worker!!!! I had 5 quotes, and chose Gelber and his crew for the job and I am glad I did! He did my quote on a Monday, and Tuesday by 4pm my entire house was painted!!! I am impressed! They cleaned up well, and did quality work. Also, Gelber was the most fair with the cost! We hired Gelber based on the yelp ratings and we're glad we did. He did a great job painting the interior of the house, including some repairs to our kitchen island where he had to patch a huge hole. He also recommended someone to tile our backsplash and that person did an excellent job as well. I was especially happy that he was so responsive and reliable, and I thought the price was fair. I requested a quote and it was EXTREMELY reasonable. I gladly accepted, he showed up promptly to my home with his crew. They immediately began taping everything thing off perfectly, ensuring to perfectly edge the tape up to my steel gate.
After the taping was completed, they began painting and didn't waste time.

Gelber responded very promptly to our request for drywall repair and painting. His drywall repair person did a truly perfect job on the repair of the drywall. Gelber did an excellent job of painting the areas of the drywall repair. His price was very reasonable and he honored the quote that he gave us for the repair and painting. We also asked him to quote us the cost of painting our extra bedroom and he completed that work. Whether it needed one more coat or just that room provided some challenges that room did not live up to the paint job he did on all of the drywall repair. I would definitely use him again for drywall repair.

Got the exterior of my housing painted in 2 days. They did a good job of masking, patch up holes, and fixed my balcony ceiling.  The paint was thick and even. Price is reasonable. Highly recommended.
