So far so good.
We went through the process of bidding our project and choosing Diamond Stone. The manager was knowledgeable, kind and his communication was (and still is) impeccable.
We are currently going through material selections and almost demo. Will update as we move through the process.
So far, their customer service and pricing have been spot on!

I had the pleasure of working with this company for my backyard turf project, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. Not only did they deliver top-notch quality turf, but they also exceeded my expectations by speeding up the project timelines.

From start to finish, the team at Diamond Stone were amazing. They answered any questions we had pre-project, during, and after, and were always patient, and eager to assist. The crew who worked on our project absolutely transformed our front and backyard in only a couple of weeks. They arrived every day at 7 am and worked tirelessly. Quality work from beginning to end. Myron was wonderful giving us our quote and covered all the bases so there were no surprises. The work came out fantastic. It has made a transformation to our yard both visually and functionally, not needing to wear shoes or sandals all the time to traverse the gravel between the patio and the side or the patio and the garden. My wife picked a herringbone design and Diamond Stone helped us pick the perfect brick to complement.

Jaime was wonderful at running the job and keeping my wife informed of all steps and any questions. They even did follow-up warranty repair work on two bricks quickly afterwards while showing me how to do the repairs myself and even finding additional bricks to repair while they were here.

Patricia at Diamond Stone was very attentive and on top of the whole process. Due to external issues our project took about a year to complete and Patricia showed patience throughout. Even rolling with changes along the way.
The result is a back yard with nearly 2/3 more beautiful space than before. We now love being in our yard and would absolutely recommend Diamond Stone for any project you are planning.

We have done a lot of renovations in our backyard. One project was to expand our travertine patio by about 600 sq ft. We called around after researching companies on Yelp, of course! Some places didn't want to gas up and come out to give quotes. I get it, gas is expensive. But, for a major job like this, it takes money (and time) to make money.
We had DSSG quote several projects and this time we were impressed with how Daniel presented the job and company. We chose them and we are extremely pleased. The crew they sent out were professional and they were like artists. They sloped the patio in a way it had 3 slopes to guide rainwater away from house and pool.
They cleaned up well afterwards and finished the job in one day. Our gate was tough to close and I called Daniel. They sent a guy the next day to fix the problem.
All I can say is...get a quote from Daniel and hire them!

We did a driveway Belgard paver extension, upgraded rock (1 table mesa brown rock), french drain, and addition of plants (drip irrigation).

They were very professional and they sent a good size crew to do the demo and trenching and then prep for the pavers.

We are ecstatic with their work and the outcome.  Looks spectacular.  We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this contractor (I bid my project 5 deep, and looked up contractor's licenses, heavily researched reviews etc. to ensure no issues).  These guys are 100% professional and tech savvy.  Very competitive pricing.

I used DSSG to replace rock in my yard with pavers. Everyone I dealt with was great - quick response time to my request for an estimate, and then I got a great surprise when they told me they were moving my project up, got it all done weeks ahead of schedule! My yard looks amazing. The selection of pavers gave me tons of options, and they had pavers that match the patio that came with the house. The guys worked fast, all told it was a day and a half start to finish. My only regret is that I don't need anything else done, because I'd work with this company again in a heartbeat.

Eric and his group did a wonderful project for us of adding pavers from our front porch to around the side of our house They also designed a walkway through our back yard.  They were true professionals from start to finish and the pavers are gorgeous!   This was the smoothest project we have done to our house and the results certainly are beautiful!  We will definitely use them again and are already planning our next project!

We are very pleased with the concrete pads and synthetic grass installation done by Diamond Stone.  We liked that this operation isn't a one man show.  There are people to answer the phone, give quotes, multiple crews to do the type of work requested and a final cleanup crew.  The representative doing estimates took a picture of the areas, inserted exact measurements and perimeters and emailed it along with a detailed scope of work.  From past experiences with contractors, this is far better than relying on memory.  This wasn't the cheapest bid we got, but believe it to be fair market price with warranty guarantees for labor and product.  All the staff were friendly and respectful.  How much did we like doing business with them is simple! We hired them again in a week for additional turf!  We've had multiple neighbors come by to say how nice it looks and ask for a referral. Thanks to Diamon Stone for giving our home some curb appeal.

About three years ago we had our backyard done by Diamond Stone and Synthetic grass, and we enjoyed it so much we had them work on our front yard.

During the project my wife an I changed our minds on several design items and made some last minute decisions which were all accommodated. The whole project took about a week, and we are quite happy with the results.

I hired DSSG to complete my backyard landscaping, side yard trash pad, front yard walkway and driveway extension. I typically do all remodeling projects myself, but considering the time and effort needed we wanted to find a contractor we could trust. I asked for quote on Yelp and was assigned Daniel who came out and gave me a quote. He listened to what I wanted and answered all my questions. Because I knew what I wanted I was very particular with the asks and even though I know my questions and concerns were specific, DSSG was patient with me. I added on some to my initial ask and the quote was updated appropriately. My only suggestion to those who also go with DSSG is to 1. really look at the measurements listed on the quote and ensure you communicate if want something symmetrical or not. The driveway extension rock beds were off by a few inches. I should have been more clear but looking at the quote's measurements I would have noticed that it would be off by a little bit.  2. Double-check if there's something they say they cant get. I was told the Belgard pavers for my driveway were only available to new home builders  but I called around and was able to find them from distributors myself. Not the ideal situation but I'm glad I didn't just settle. 3. Review the work as they complete it (this is with any work you have done). There were things overlooked or had to be added because the workers didn't follow the plan. It was corrected promptly but if I were not paying attention it would have been more difficult to correct after the fact. I am awaiting a quote to add a pergola and should I add that I will leave another quote for that job.  Overall my experience with a contractor completing such a large job was very good.  I would recommend Diamond to others.

I contacted them to get a quote and they were quick to respond and we set up a time for them to stop by to see what we wanted. They took measurement and pic and let us know we would be seeing a quote in the next day or so. The quote came back quick and was reasonable for the work we wanted completed. I agreed to the price and a date was set for the install to be complete. They notified when materials would be delivered and that they could start ahead of scheduled.  Their team showed up and begin work. They worked full day and completed the job in a timely manner.   If I had any question or issue they were quick to respond and correct if required. I am completely happy with the work that was done and would use again and refer them, if anyone ask me for someone to install pavers.

We are very happy with the outcome of our project. Jr, Jaime and his crew, and everyone we encountered at Diamond were helpful and communicated with us at every step. Our project included a new irrigation system and a new patio!  We love the way it all came together and would highly recommend!

What we had done: Sod removal, cap off of sprinklers, old patio removal, re-grading of yard, gravel placement, and install of paver patio

Not a HUGE project, but also not a small project. After reading the rave reviews for this place on yelp and google, I thought for sure we had chosen the right company for the job. Between poor communication and spotty work, Diamond Stone underdelivered.

Communication: 1/5
For our initial consult, our project manager missed our appointment. He called same day after our scheduled consultation, and explained why he had not shown up. We wrote it off as no big deal. My partner met with him a few days later, and we chose them as we thought them to be the best company for the job. We were told upon completion of our quote paperwork that we may be able to be fit in sooner than expected and that we would be contacted sometime the following week.
We never did hear back from the project manager within that week, so we reached out. He responded saying that he would know more that Wednesday. Well, again he never reached out that Wednesday or the days following. The following week, we heard from a new person, whom we presumed to be the person that was actually going to do the work. He said that things would start to show up at the house, however we had not even been sent a catalog of things to pick out our hardscape materials. Once we got that sorted out, things started to arrive.
On the first day of work, another crew whom we had not been in communication with showed up. Not a big deal, but wish we were given a heads up of who was actually going to show up to our house.
On the third day of work, we had no one show up to fully complete our project. Instead, we had three separate parties show up without notice.
I am unsure if this is an industry standard, however communication was very poor overall. For this reason alone, I will not likely hire Diamond Stone again, nor recommend it.  

Craftsmanship: 2.5/5
The paver patio was largely beautiful and changed the vibe of our backyard drastically. We had two borders placed along the perimeter of our home and tree in the yard. This was crafted nicely.
While we were mesmerized by the difference our backyard looked like after the majority of work was done, there were definitely some imperfections.
First one being that the paver patio had not been fully filled in with sand. It create an unfinished look that was not my preference. We asked that to be filled in and they were able to fulfill that request the day after. Secondly, a few of our sprinklers were tamped and/or damaged in the process of sod removal and patio formation. This resulted in leakage of the sprinkler system, which we also asked for this to be fixed. There were certain areas that needed to be filled in with dirt, which we also needed to ask be done. They did not order enough gravel to fill the whole yard, so we were at another couple day delay. Unfortunately, they ordered the wrong size (1in instead of 1/2 in) and this was installed. My partner was sick of having the crew come and go, so she had them fill it in with the 1in size. To be fair, they did offer to fix this, but the project had been drug out longer than she wanted.
It's been about 2 months since we've had the work done - there were fast growing weeds amongst the gravel after the first week. Perhaps this is just an owner maintenance issue, but I feel like they maybe could have laid the weed guard, removed more top layer, and/or sprayed for weeds better because I have to weed under the gravel every 3-4 days! This was the whole reason we had the sod removed and gravel placed!!

Efficiency: 3.5/5
The landscape crew was fairly efficient in completing the work. But efficient is not always quality work as mentioned above. They completed the majority of grading, rock laying, and paver patio in three days. Took another two to three days to fill in the last part of the backyard with gravel and clean up the front yard from the materials. There was a large amount of cement residue left on our brand new garden hose and an outdoor electrical box had been pulled out of the wall. Frustrating because it showed the lack of respect for our space.

We are generally very easy-going people. We give the benefit of the doubt, and we gave it to Diamond Stone multiple times throughout our project.
As I mentioned above, I will not hire Diamond Stone again because of the poor communication and coordination during our project. The work that was done was okay, but we had to ask for way too many things to be done to our satisfaction. I am glad others have had great experiences, but unfortunately, our project had one too many deal breakers.

***Shout out to Mike for his professionalism and value in his company. We were able to give him feedback directly, and while this did not necessarily change our overall experience, it showed his care. Wish we could've communicated with him to begin with.

I didn't have work done. But I'd like to give the perspective as a neighbor.

I was inspired to write this review after seeing all the heavy equipment tracks in my yard from materials being dropped off this morning to wrap up my neighbors project with this company.

I live in a cul de sac. Throughout the 3 weeks of work, my driveway was partially blocked and often times frequently blocked. Trash, like empty water bottles and plastic bags were often left in piles on the sidewalk along with 4-5, 3ft mounds of refuse or raw materials. I often picked up trash thrown around by wind because it was standard practice to leave the jobsite daily without cleaning up.

Materials piled in the street blocked my trash can from being emptied by the city on 2 occasions because materials would be placed in front of my pickup location. Workers assured me they would move my bucket if needed but they didn't.

The sidewalk and street in front of the house continues to be completely discolored and is now collecting debris in the gutter after a few rains.

I reached out to the project manager to unblock my garage and he responded immediately. New materials continued to be placed in front of my garage. And as I started with, I guess they used my yard to gain access to my neighbors and left 3 inch ruts.

I showed the company my review before posting it. The rep I spoke to apologized and offered to repair my yard.

A terrific company with state-of-the art business tools and customer-focused employees.  A neighbor recommended Diamond Stone.  Myron was our go-to-guy, start-to-finish, which I think greatly contributed to a smooth and quick completion of the job.  A few of the many things we loved about working with Diamond Stone:  using a aerial photo of our own yard, Diamond's work plan included detailed drawings of pavers, grass, stone, wall, etc.  placements.  Any changes were clearly documented.  Diamond workers universally showed up when they said they would, came prepared, and finished ahead of time.  When we had questions, Myron and Cesar helped us understand our choices and sent us photos of different materials to help clarify.  Payment schedule was clear and reasonable.  We are enjoying the final product and our comfortable outdoor living space thanks to Diamond Stone.

We used Diamond Stone to do a complete overhaul on our yard and it turned out beautifully. We never stop getting compliments on the work that was done by Diamond Stone.

Diamond Stone and Synthetic was the only company who came out for a quote, I called quite a few! Myron stopped to help us with the quote on the driveway and front patio. He was very nice, professional and great to work with! The project started a day earlier then it was scheduled. They finished and cleaned up the next day! The guys worked very hard in the heat. Communication was the only issue we had. And even with that It turned out great,  we are very happy with the results! I would recommend them to my friends and family!

Negative stars if I could. Sales rep Patricia was absolutely horrible. Preferred texting over calling but never responded to texts. Absolutely impossible to get her to respond to texts, let alone answer her phone. If this company allows their sales reps to act like this towards their potential  customers then I'd go else where. Won't  be using this company at all. Will be going with another one who actually cares about potential customers, has fair/reasonable prices, and actually responded to their potential customers. Rethink using this company, especially if you get Patricia as your sales rep.

In 2017, we hired Diamond Stone and Synthetic grass to do our pavers in our back yard. We had Mike came to give us a quote we specifically asked Mike and team to pay extra attention to the grade and to pitch the pavers away from the house due to drainage in our back yard. Mike the owner, said no problem at all. $5,000 later, our pavers looked great but the grade was pitched toward the house and every time it rained or we used the hose outback, the water ran toward our house and we had to use a broom to push it away from our house. Mike also ordered an extra pallet of pavers that we had to pay for that his crew never used. Instead of discounting the cost of the pavers , he left an entire pallet of pavers in our backyard that we had no use for. We reached out to Mike multiple times to let him know of the issue with the drainage and the extra pavers and his solution was to put gutters on the house. He told us there was nothing he could do for the extra pavers. We agreed because we did not want our entire back yard flooded when it rained thinking that Mike would hire a professional gutter company to come and put the gutters in. Instead, Mike sent out a friend who picked up some gutters from home depot to install the gutters. The gutters looked awful and leaked. We let Mike know and he had his friend come out and put silicone on the gutters to prevent them from leaking and told us that was all he could do. At this point, we were pretty frustrated with the situation and decided to just deal with the issue.
Fast forward to July 2021, we had a trash can fire in our backyard and needed our gutters and pavers replaced. While looking for companies on YELP, I came across Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass's page and decided to review them on my experience from 2017.  My review obviously was not favorable due to all the issues we have had. Mike immediately replied to my review saying he never did business with us. I then provided screenshots of the conversations we had basically begging him to fix our yard. Mike then reached out to my husband and basically begged him to remove the unfavorable review and he would make things right. Mike came over and assessed the damage from the fire and quoted us $1700 to replace the damaged pavers and he would have his team put in a deco drain along the patio at no cost. We agreed to give Mike yet another chance. Mikes team came and did the work as requested but shortly after, the deco drain started warping and buckling. We let Mike know and he had his team come out and remove the deco drain, tearing up my backyard once again. Mike's team was supposed to fix the deco drain the same day they removed it but now it has been 2 weeks with my back yard torn up and my deco drain was finally replaced today- over 2 months after we contracted Diamond stone and synthetic grass to do the job. Hopefully the deco drains that they put in this time will last longer than a month. This was our experience and wanted to give an honest review-  If you are looking for a company to get the job done right the first time, this is not the company for you.

You will not find a better company to work with than Diamond Stone. They got the job done right, for a good price, and fast. They have a huge team and all of them are totally pro. I absolutely love the yard they created for me. Now it's time to host a party!

These guys were able to help us transform our backyard in just a few days! They were professional, courteous, and able to give us the backyard our kids have been needing. Every aspect I felt at ease and confident in their ability to deliver. I was able to communicate by phone or text with them as well as take care of paperwork electronically through email.

Daniel, our salesman and project manager, worked with us to create a perfect backyard at our new home.  Diamond Stone put in artificial turf and pavers to extend our patio and walkway to the front gate.  They were efficient, did beautiful work and cleaned up everything when they finished. Mike and his crew did grass in my yard and a Putting green and my father yard.
They did great work at both of our homes. I have recommended them to friends and I highly recommend them.

We worked with Junior and Mike. Scheduling the initial visit was super easy and quick. Junior came on time, spent 10 min at our house, and within the hours, he shared a detailed quote with a drone picture. We ended up reducing the scope of work, and the price they offered was 50% lower than anyone else. We had some delays with scheduling, but on the day, the crew showed up on time and did a stunning job within 3-4 hours. Junior followed up multiple times to make sure everything was completed as expected. 5/5 for Junior and his guys.

These guys are awesome! I'm in LOVE with my yard - I keep peeking out my windows every 5 minutes to admire it. I worked with Bilal and could not be happier with his service - it was beyond anything I could have ever asked for. He was extremely patient and worked with me to get my dream yard within my budget and expectations. Bilal went even further to teach me how to care for my tender front yard plants that were being scorched by the heat that he and his team did not put in.

The entire crew was nice, helpful and funny and their work has me speechless. Looking forward to enjoying this space for many years to come! Excellent communication and arrived on time for my scheduled estimate. Highly recommend if in the market for landscaping estimates.

Diamond did so many things perfectly but a couple of items caused me to reduce the rating to 4 stars.

The Good:
1. They did a great job with providing an estimate and adjusting accordingly
2. They scheduled the work ahead of time, showed up on time, and maintained their schedule.
3. Their quality of work was average to above average

The Bad:
1. Don't buy shrubs or trees from them. They go through Moon Nurseries which is way overpriced. You're better off contracting this elsewhere or providing your own plants. They also priced the plants extremely low which caused a bit of budget mismanagement on their side.
2. Don't contract them to do anything more complex than stone and grass work. They tend to over promise and under deliver on items that aren't their norm. For example, they were going to install a gate for me but when the time came, they didn't install it and never returned to take care of it. In fact, they actually installed pavers that made the installation of the gate more difficult.
3. Cleanliness - A couple of the workers left a mess in my yard. Specifically leaving their lunch garbage after they left. They also didn't go over the turf with a magnet which caused a few nails to be left behind (not great for small kids or pets).
4. Make sure they pregrade before laying stone. They will add it into their budget but won't perform the work to save money. This caused grading issues at my house.

All in all, I would recommend them for their scheduling and timeliness but I would recommend the end-user complete a thorough punch walk.

Diamond Stone was professional and easy to work with.  Our sales person and the company owner were personally involved with our project.  They did what they said they would, and if we weren't happy with something, they fixed it.  They had great design ideas and the work was A1.  I'd recommend Diamond for any kind of landscaping, yard design, or patio renovation.

Responsive at first but after they came out to inspect our yard they never got back to us. She came out on a Thursday, said she would have an estimate by Tuesday at the latest and we never heard from her again. After waiting for over a week we went with anogher company.

Last month we had our backyard done by Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass. They were a little more expensive than other companies, but we liked the grass better. It was called Triple Green--a two-tone green with brown deep down (designed to look like real grass).

The workers were efficient and pleasant. After installation we could notice the seam, so we requested that they come back and repair it. This was done within a few days.

Our only problem was some debri was left on the street in front of our house, and our HOA was upset about that. But it was removed within a few days.

The grass is beautiful, and we love it!! We are waiting for some business cards that we can distribute to our neighbors.

Mike & Rafa helped me get my backyard right after we put a pool in! I reached out to multiple landscape companies and they gave me the best quote, They aren't afraid to tackle any job we did gravel, grading, steel work, turf instillation and concrete! Had an overall good experience with this company as they restored our interior fireplace by tearing out the old stone and refacing it with stack stone. They did quality work in a short time frame and each member we worked with was friendly and communicative. Even when we ran into a snafu where the wrong stone was used for the hearth, they were quick to resolve. They treated our property with respect and we would use them again for another project. I have used Diamond twice for new build backyard installs. I have always had great experiences with them especially Daniel, if any issue comes up during the install, Daniel will get it taken care of for you. They take pride in their work and never disappoint, I recommend Diamond to anyone.

After a nightmare situation with another local company I ended up needing to find someone else to put pavers in my backyard. When I requested a quote from Diamond Stone I was contacted within about 5 minutes and got an actual in person quote the next day. My project was tentatively scheduled and started just a day or two later due to some scheduling issues. The project took about 3 days or so, there was a slight delay because of continuous rain storms. The crew at my house was great, they were respectful and did an amazing job, asking me questions and preferences along the way to make sure things were done correctly.

The one thing that stands out about this company is their excellent communication. I'm the type of person who doesn't care how long things take as long they're done correctly and there is efficient communication. I'd give Diamond Stone an A+++ for open communication. The workmanship was great and I am super pleased with the entire experience.

I hired them to landscape my backyard by installing travertine blocks, a pergola, artificial turf and gravel.  Work was performed in Jul-Aug 2020.

Would I hire them again?  Yes, I would.

Lots of good things to say about the entire operation, except the gravel team.  Initially they didn't know to put down the weed barrier and then when they did they cut corners and didn't get full coverage.  

When spreading the gravel they put it on top of the mulch that was around the 12 plants and bushes.  I had to remove the gravel, buy some mulch and put it down.  

Also, they cut down the pipes for the irrigation heads so they were underground.  I had to dig out some dirt to replace the tubes so that the heads are above ground (my preference for easier maintenance).

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Diamond Stone!!! Our service was top notch from the moment I called and made an appointment for an estimate to the finished project. We had requested quotes with other companies as well, but none of them where as reasonable, professional, and just all around amazing!!!
Our backyard was a complete mess, we gutted everything but the pool and with the help from Diamond Stone the transformation is unrecognizable. Just beautiful!! Now we have an outdoor living space. Mike and Rafa were truly professional and easy to work with.  Based off of the great reviews here on yelp, we decided to give the company a try.  We used another contractor to install our artificial lawn and they didn't do the greatest job with the small details of the installation (see before photos)...we knew we needed help!

In comes Mike and his crew to save the day!  Rafa came by, gave me a quote (instantly) and sent it to me electronically as we stood there looking at the botched job.  We had some scheduling issues as they are super busy but in the end, Mike made everything right and we cannot be happier with the finished result.  

Mike and his team of experts (shout out to Junior) came and made the magic happen!  They made the seam, which was horribly visible, almost completely disappear.  In addition, they had to change the direction of a whole piece of turf, and they added a paver border around a tree, all for a fair price.  They completed the job as it should've been and we are grateful for their professionalism and expert-level work.  

We are looking to add a paver walkway leading from the side of our house to the front gate, and you can guess who we'll be calling when we want to get the job done... I'll save you the guess, we will be calling Mike and the crew at Diamond Stone and Synthetic Grass.

We are all spending more time at home because of COVID this year so we thought it would be a good time to consider some projects we've been putting off. Our backyard has been deteriorating over the years and it was  time for a refresh. Originally, we were going to tear out everything and put in a small lap pool. As an aside, we talked to Thunderbird Pools about the project and they were the ONLY ones who came back within days of the consultation to let us know it would be a no go due to easements etc. Nice people-we actually talked to 4 pool builders who didn't bother to do their homework-only Thunderbird!

Anyway, enter Mike from Diamond Stone.  Extremely prompt on the initial work request. Thorough and professional from start to finish. He came by and listened to what we thought we wanted, offered suggestions and accommodated our requests. It wasn't a huge job, but anything over 10K  in our book merits at least a little thought for sure! We had our crappy, more dirt and anthills than lawn, torn completely out and synthetic grass put in.  We were skeptical, but it's GREAT and our 1 year old Czech Shepherd loves to tear around and roll in it even in this heat. He's such a happy boy now! I don't have to be irritated and bummed out on my days off from the hospital because we can't enjoy our backyard anymore, either. My husband is happy that I'm happy-LOL!

Mike and his company put in pavers where some of our weirdly shaped, water hogging, brown and horrible looking, patchy ass grass used to be next to the now the beautifully and permanently manicured emerald green lawn is--and HOLY COW! Our small and outdated backyard had doubled in enjoyable size!!!  I did a double take when I first saw it after another stressful shift at work (I don't get home til evening, and honestly just clean up and fall into bed-so I didn't really see the backyard til a couple days later on my day off) and I couldn't believe my eyes!

When I walked around to where our back walkway had been pavered, and the area around the spa no longer a mess of gravel and muddy paw prints from our constant pain in the butt sprinklers-but NOW a uniformly level and beautiful usable patio area--I seriously, seriously felt tears in my eyes. I like to garden, and the guys had thoughtfully run extra 5 head water line thingies around the perimeter for my planned raised garden beds! They thought of this without me asking. Diamond also removed trees and built tree wells, renovated our dog run and fixed up our gravel in the front of the house.

You know, EVERYONE wants home to be comfy and safe and happy, right? Now, with the addition of an awesome and not too spendy Hessaire evap cooler and a few new pieces of furniture, we can sit out in the shade and just enjoy the outside with coffee or some wine for a bit and forget about all the craziness going on. That's really valuable because everyday is a staycation these days.

His crew was prompt every day, well prepared, courteous and left things super clean. We'd left out a cooler of ice and drinks under the shade every day and they even made sure all the cans and bottles made it into the outdoor recycling bin.  These guys worked as long as 8 hour days in 113 degree heat in FULL SUN laying pavers, shoveling gravel, digging out sprinklers..c'mon, man...that's just bananas heat stroke kinda hard work. I'm miserable just walking half a mile to the parking lot at work.  

Excellent, STELLAR work by Mike and his crew. Every project will have a hiccup or two.  Mike fixed all our concerns. Fair pricing, too. We are already thinking about our next project with him. We've literally reno'd our entire house in the last 2 years and seen the worst and the best, from the criminally incompetent (as in license revoked mid project by the ROC; to a gorgeous above and beyond expectations flooring company; and now Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass. Look no further-Mike's your guy!

Our first project in our new home in Scottsdale was a patio remake/extension including pavers.  We contacted multiple landscapers some came out, never to be seen again and some were no shows.  Unfortunately, this was all happening during the height of COVID and the housing construction boom so we were also challenged with material shortages and supply chain delays.   We contacted Diamond and Bilal was assigned as our Project Manager.  From day one their commitment to the project was apparent, everyone we spoke with was professional, courteous and very responsive. From estimate to completion Bilal maintained constant communication; he was always available to answer any questions or concerns.   Despite the same material shortages that impacted other projects, somehow Diamond found a way to proceed.  In fact, we decided to contract them to expand and extend our driveway as well.    Getting work done through the 2021 Monsoon was no easy task, but they maintained constant communication and kept us apprised of any changes to the work schedule.  Everyone we encountered on the Diamond team seemed friendly and knowledgeable but I have to say Bilal was a project management superstar!!!!  Thank you.

I would definitely use Diamond again.

We needed some paver work done to our front yard walkway in a very short amount of time. Myron was able to get me a quote quickly and get work started a couple days after I approved the quote. They offered a fair price and did great work that was completed in 2 days. Will definitely use them for landscape work in the future!

About 4-5-21-Filled out an online form to request an estimate for some work in our backyard.

4-8-21--A rep visited our property to determine scope and scale of potential job. Took measurements and said a written estimate would be forthcoming in a couple of days.

4-16-21---Received a written estimate via email.

4-17-21--Composed an email with various questions concerning estimate and sent it to Diamond Stone.

4-17-21-- Received an immediate response saying the rep would call me later in the day to discuss questions.

4-29-21-- Sent an email to Diamond Stone saying I'm still waiting for their phone call.

4-29-21--Received phone call to discuss. Rep said they will send a revised estimate in a couple of days.

And that's the last I heard from them. This coming Thursday (5/20/21) it will be 3 weeks since I was promised the revised estimate. If it's this difficult getting off the ground I can only imagine what the actual construction phase would be like.

Terrific company to work with!   Not only was the job done in such a professional manner, the customer service was the highest quality.   Myron was great to work with from the initial planning through the final walkthrough with the project.   Zeke and his team showed up everyday with such a positive approach for the duration of the project.   I have worked with contractors in the past where communication was a challenge but this company's is top notch.   We did a complete redo of our backyard and could not be happier.   I would highly recommend them for any project!

Rafael and his crew came out to install pavers from my driveway to my back patio. Every step of the project, they communicated 100% with us. From the time they initially came out to check out the yard up until it was complete, they were professional and quick! When they were finished, they did one final walk through with us and made sure the mess from the job was thoroughly cleaned.

Loved these guys ! Very professional and completed my job in a timely manner. Have since had them come back to do warranty work with no issues like you hear about from other companies who once the job is done and they have your money won't honor the warranty on their work. Diamond Stone and Synthetic Grass provided incredible customer service! Daniel, our point of contact was patient and helpful throughout the entire process. He provided insight and helped us make changes several times throughout our design and installation. He made several visits to meet my fiancee' and I at the house to make last minute and mid install adjustments.  I would highly recommend Diamond Stone to anyone looking to invest on their property. But don't just take my word for it... look at the before and after photos!

I wish I can give this company zero stars but I can't.  We are still in the middle of a $50,000 backyard remodel. They started on this months ago, they are unreliable and have no communication skills whatsoever.   They literally would never give us a heads up before material was being dropped off or when certain contractors would show up.  Part of the remodel was a 20k pergola being installed.  It has been a few months and we still can't get a word from them when it will be installed or when it will be ready.  When some of the contractors would come over, we would have to tell them what they were doing and what they were installing. My wife has talked to the owner a few times and he is very rude to her and still can't give us straight answers.  They are very unorganized and would not recommend to anyone else.  I wish we would of done this project with anyone else.  Just seems they are way too busy and can't remember what is going on. Yes, they are very friendly and communicate very well in the beginning but once the project starts good luck on hearing from them again I can't believe they have all these 5 star reviews. Good luck to you, If you decide to hire.

I needed what was considered a small project by most companies. 380 sq ft of pavers that I supplied to be laid with my pergola. I ran multiple quotes and every other company was just trying to upsell or push me in to making my project larger to meet there minimum pricing. Diamond stone took my request and followed through. Daniel was down to earth and straight forward and got me in the schedule within a few weeks. In just three days they completed what I wanted. During the time Cesar kept me updated on the entire project. I am very satisfied with the outcome and communication throughout the process.

I received 4 different company estimates to replace my dead Bermuda lawn with artificial grass before choosing Diamond Stone and Synthetic Grass. Their free estimate was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. But I was sold on their very professional customer service.  They were also very patient while I waited for my HOA approval. I love the install and it looks just GREAT! Very happy with the results!! I highly recommend this company!

We had a great experience with Diamond Stone and absolutely  recommend them. We called a few companies for bids but Rafa came right away, answered our questions knowledgeably and honestly, and gave us a competitive estimate. He and his crew had to work around another company redoing our pool, but they had no problem doing so. Diamond Stone did an initial full yard demo, then came back (protecting the newly refinished pool area) to complete irrigation, electrical, plants, DG and turf. You can tell these guys know exactly what they're doing since everything was performed smoothly from design, build and clean up. It's amazing how fast they can complete a job. Very communicative and professional. Other companies can't compete with their quote. I've already recommended them to others in need of their service.

After seeing all the excellent reviews on Yelp, we called Diamond Stone to take a look at some sinking pavers in a walkway and in our side yard.  Mike came out the next day to check it out and get us an estimate. He came when he said he would and emailed his quote in a timely manner. These may seem like little things, but with some contractors even the simple stuff can feel like a challenge.

No challenges with Mike and crew though. Communication was great and the work was done ahead of schedule. The pavers look great, and no more trip hazards.  It was a small job, but he didn't treat it like one. I wouldn't hesitate at all to call them in the future to work our next project, large or small.

We hired Diamond Stone to revamp our back yard- it started out as a giant dirt patch with a busted aluminum shed, and became a beautiful, comfortable backyard oasis that we can now LIVE in. This is an excellent company. Daniel was our project manager and everything ran quite smoothly through our backyard transformation. Took out old grass and rolled border and they did new pavers, stepping stones, synthetic turf and a pergola. And I loved the way they did business. We had gotten a quote from another company from a friend of ours who was going to give us a screaming deal. When I was trying to do my research I couldn't find much. I called Diamond Stone to get a second quote. I talked to Mike. He came over and we told him our ideas. He gave us a quote. We went from grass, rock and mature plants to all rock, new plants (smaller), new drip system, lights, travertine patio for the grill, fixed cracks in block fence, built up 3 ft round for Bush.  I did my research on this company and they come out on top in everything.  Mike kept in constant contact with us to make sure the job was being done right.  Highly recommend.  The backyard looks spectacular.  My granddaughter says it looks like a resort.  Lol. We got three quotes to remove all the rock/plants in our backyard and replace with turf. Diamond Stone was by far the most reasonable - 10K less than the first!! They finished our yard in less than two days and it looks incredible. We could not be happier! The crew didn't leave a spec of dust/dirt behind and were so nice. Can't say enough about Mike and his team!

We hired Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass to correct a few issues we had with a previous artificial turf installation and expand our paver walkway.

The artificial turf needed to be rolled up to fix the irrigation line buried underneath it. The previous installer crushed it in several spots while compacting the ground.

Bilal was assigned to our project, and was great. He is always happy and a pleasure to work with. He helped us plan the job and kept in contact regularly while the crew was on site. As with most construction projects, there were a couple of minor miscommunications. Bilal was terrific and helped resolve them quickly.

The bottom line - we learned a few hard lessons with the original installer of our artificial turf . If we had known about Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass back then, it would have been done right the first time.

Really cant say enough about this company. My yard looks better than i thought it would. Raffa was just a great guy to work with and he always returned calls in a timely manner. The crew blew us away with their incredible work ethic. They showed up, worked hard from 6am until 3pm in the sun and honestly hardly ever took a break. It was crazy. Just so impressed with them and will refer all my friends.

Mike and his team did an amazing job on our backyard from the initial consultation to the final outcome! He was easy to communicate with and was very fair in his pricing. So fair in fact that I decided to lump in the landscaping for the front yard of our new home as well. They put in concrete planters in the back, tile on our patio, a drip system for my plants, artificial turf, lighting, pavers for the trash cans and more! Me and my wife are so pleased with Diamond Stone and Synthetic Grass. They were so professional from the beginning until the end. They provided a written estimate of all the work to be performed, the cost did not go up for any reason, they helped us with some issues they found at no cost and they did it in less than 3 days which is amazing!

They installed pavers, a retaining wall and reshaped some landscaped areas in the front yard. They were always kind and courteous.

They removed existing gravel and grass all around our home and replaced them with decorative rock and synthetic grass. All of it looks beautiful.  

We were very pleased with the care they took to eliminate the previous grass and place weed barrier under the rock and synthetic grass. They also did a thorough job of compacting the soil and worked carefully around our existing hardscape.

Their work makes our landscaping look like a resort. They even repaired some of our travertine that was not correctly installed.
We will use them again in the future and recommend them without hesitation.

We had Diamond Stone and Synthetic Grass do the landscaping for our backyard. Couldn't be happier with the work the guys did, we had them install drainage piping, irrigation, rock/boulders, artificial turf, an outdoor shower, and landscape lighting.

I had three other companies come out prior to Michael and from the prompt and flexible initial visit and comparable price we decided to go with Diamond Stone. Michael was always very quick to respond, very clear about the process, and even with some hiccups along the way he was always very professional and accommodating. Can't wait to use them again to finally complete our backyard. This was a big start and were very happy with the end result. Our little girl finally has some grass to play in. See photos, we added a large area of artificial grass and pavers for an extension to our patio.

We got quotes from several artificial turf installers. Diamond stone & Synthetic Turf was very professional and put forward a competitive proposal. Ramon did a great job helping us consider several different layouts of grass, pavers, and river rock. They had a long backlog, so it took them a while before they were able to start the project. When they started, they completed the project quickly, but didn't do a great job on some rocks that got moved. I told Ramon about it and he took care of it and had it fixed. We are very happy with the end result and would use the company again in the future.

Mike was easy to work with and got my job done quickly. Communication was prompt and he answered all my questions. His crew is professional and his products are great quality; pricing seemed on point. I would use them again for our next project.

We hired Diamond Stone to replace a section of turf in our backyard and to install new turf on the side of the house for a dog run (where it was just rocks at the time). From the first call they were very friendly and accommodating.
Rafael walked us through the options, process and timing. Initially, we hit a snag with the pricing as there was an error with the original measurement versus the final measurement before the work would begin. This would have made the pricing higher, and more difficult, for us but Rafael agreed to honor the original quote.
Their workers showed up on time and completed the job on schedule. The craftsmanship is excellent and we have had no issues after a few months of using the turf. Most impressive was their integrity about honoring the original quote due to the error.
I have referred a few other people over to them since and I've seen one of them go through with hiring. Their new space looks awesome as well. Definitely recommend them for you and we'll likely be coming back to them for future outdoor space needs.

Of the 7 requests we placed for an estimate prior to Christmas, Mike and Diamond were the only company to even respond, and they did it in less than a day. Dealing with Rafa to oversee our project from start to finish was awesome! He was always available to respond to questions/concerns right away, and his crew was professional and did an amazing job. Thank you guys so very much for our new backyard! We love our turf, pavers, and fire pit so much. My family would absolutely recommend Diamond to anybody looking to have work done.

Let me start off by saying that I live in Tartesso (a subdivision in rural Buckeye) and I had a hell of a time finding someone to come out and provide an estimate for fixing up our backyard (I was interested in replacing our grass with either granite rock or artificial turf). I was getting responses like, You are just too far out. Umm, really, you live in literally the next town over... Anyway, Diamond Stone was one of the only companies willing to come out - one star.
Not only did he come out, but he literally came to front door at the exact time of our estimate appointment - another star.  
He provided me with the lowest estimate (out of the landscapers that came out) for doing the entire backyard with stone and he also gave me the lowest estimate for installing artificial turf - another star.  
The owner (Mike) was very responsive to all of my questions (I contacted him via phone, email, text, and I believe that a carrier pigeon was involved at one point) - another star.
These factors led me to hire Diamond Stone for the job, and I'm glad I did. The yard was, previously, totally unlevel and a complete mess of weeds.  They tore all of that out and totally leveled our backyard, before putting the rock (that I selected) down. Backyard looks great - another star.
If my math is correct, that equals 5 stars. Well deserved too.

A big shout out to Mike and his crew! We used them a few years ago when we had synthetic grass put in our backyard and loved it. We since moved to a new home where after our pool was complete,  the back and side yard needed landscaping. They put in pavers, rock, synthetic grass, sprinklers and planted all our plants! The entire crew was incredibly polite and professional throughout the entire process.  I bought a new construction house with a dirt yard and they completely transformed it.  Pavers, sod, irrigation, mulch and a tree! Everything looks great! I would definitely do business with them again!

Mike and his team did an AMAZING job on my front yard! From start to finish, it was a great experience. They were patient with some of my last minute changes with adding lighting and a drip system for my trees and shrubs. They went above and beyond what most would have done and will definitely be the ones doing my backyard.

We were impressed with Mike from the first phone call (which he answered himself). As the owner of a small business he certainly knows the importance of outstanding customer service. He communicated well and often. We felt his price was absolutely in line with the rest of the industry. He and his company stand out above the rest because of their service.

I had to make several phone calls to a larger company in order to even get a quote. I spoke with a receptionist, then a sales person (who of course had to return my call a day later)... In the meantime Mike came over promptly to measure and show me samples and provide a written estimate. We decided to go with him and had our grass installed about a week later.

From start to finish, everything about Diamond Stone was fantastic. Mike had suggestions for our yard that I hadn't even thought of. They started and finished sooner than I was told which was awesome and the crew was so friendly and incredibly courteous. I had turf, gravel and some pavers laid down in my backyard and it looks a million times better. Even though they didn't have to, they also took care of a few of the big weeds in my front yard as well. Highly recommend!

I'd give them more stars if I could!  We had some ideas in mind of how we wanted to change our patio & backyard.  I did quite a bit of research...contacted 7 companies to come out for a quote and let me say that was quite the endeavor in itself.  Once JR from Diamond Stone came out we were pretty much sold, he was personable, listened to our needs/wants, gave us some other ideas and had a quote back to us the same day!!! There was a slight delay in the start of our project due to rain but once they got started everything went fairly smooth....any issues we may have had along the way were quickly resolved by a phone call to JR or he'd stop by the work site for a quick visit to ease our concerns. On our final walk thru we had a couple of very minor concerns with the synthetic grass and the travertine that JR said he'd get taken care of in the next day or so. At 730 the next morning 2 guys were at our house to fix the travertine issues and later that day a brand new roll of synthetic grass was delivered to our house, the following day JR had a crew at our house to completely tear out the previous grass they put in and install the new grass....JR said he just didn't like the look of the previous install!!!  Each and every employee we dealt with at Diamond Grass was easy to work with and you could tell they had our best interests in mind the entire way. Their initial quote was more than fair and fell in the mid range of the 6 other quotes we received. No one at Diamond Stone tried to upsell us along the way and the final bill was to the penny the same as the initial quote. I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass for any size project you may have.

I found DSSG after I called several landscapers and could not find anyone to come out to give me an estimate or if they did come out they would not provide me a full estimate because they needed to pick things out first. Daniel came out right away, took photos of my yard, and they had an estimate to me within a couple of days within my budget. During the process a small change had to be made and Daniel included me in the decision and immediately gave me multiple options to choose from. I received personal service from beginning to end, the masonry work on the firepit and barbecue were meticulous, and the work was beyond professional. Their goal is truly to make their customers happy. I cannot thank them enough for my beautiful yard!

I had a small backyard project and Synthetic Grass came out and looked at my project.  They gave me a reasonable quote and then came out and made it happen.  Michael Chavez was awesome.  He kept the crew going and I ended up with a beautiful brick and tavertine BBQ area and a narrow strip of synthetic grass for my backyard.  I am very happy with the end project and their attention to detail.

Our front and back yard was a total disaster.  DSSG re-graded, installed a large paver patio, retaining wall, fire pit, turf, irrigation system and re-rocked everything. In front, they installed a paver porch and driveway extension, boulder and re-rocked.  It was a big project and turned out great!  Rafael was very helpful and accessible from beginning to end.  Couldn't be happier with how things turned out and would recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely loved working with Daniel! He was so helpful and patient (we switched from doing our patio in concrete to pavers then to plank pavers!). The project turned out so well. The guys were so friendly and did such a good job. The whole work area was kept clean and you can tell they took pride in their work. Afterwards Daniel checked twice to make sure we were happy and see if we had any questions. We have two other projects we want to do (which will take some saving up) and we'll definitely give Daniel a call as soon as we're ready! We highly recommend Diamond Stone! What a blessing they are!

Very professional and easy to work with. Mike gave us the best estimate out of several companies from whom I requested quotes for backyard landscaping. They finished the job sooner than anticipated and even addressed other issues that weren't necessarily part of the landscaping job (e.g. helping cut a light piece with their tools, addressing the drip system out front, pulling out weeds out front). If we had concerns or anything, Mike and his team addressed them. They made sure we were completely satisfied with the job. Would recommend to other people looking for a landscaping company!

I wish I could give this company 10 stars. I contacted several companies for a quote for pavers and had very little luck getting a response. One company didn't want to come out because they were booked out until September and others never responded. But then I contacted Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass and Daniel contacted me within 30 minutes of me filling out a request online. He stopped by to give me a free estimate and was extremely helpful in explaining how he would make my vision for my courtyard come alive.  Daniel contacted me very often leading up to the date of install to make sure we were all on the same page. The install crew was extremely fast and efficient installing the pavers, drain, firepit, and steps and everything came out perfect. Daniel came by after each day to check up on the work and answer any questions we had had. We would definitely recommend using Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass and we will use them in future projects.

I seen the job Diamond Stone did with my neighbors yard it was awesome.  I called Mike for an estimate for stone and a wall extension at our new build.  We went with his estimate out of three just for the job he did across the street.  The crews were courteous, they kept the job sight clean and got done on the completion date.  Mike was in touch with us thru out the project and followed up at completion.

Mike and team installed pavers in our back yard in Jan 2019. A few days ago we noticed some gaps in the pavers from ground settling and texted Mike to see what he recommended to address the issue (we were going to do it ourselves). Within 24 hours Mike's team came to our house and addressed the issue at no charge. This was far above and beyond our expectations. I had Mike's team come out and extend my driveway with pavers to my RV gate last year.  They did a great job and at a very reasonable price, so I just brought them back to extend that same job into my backyard.  Again, really nice work at a reasonable price.  I'll have them back when I'm ready for more work in my back yard.  It's been great dealing with Mike, who is very responsive.

Mike and his crew did a great job on our synthetic grass installation. He showed up when he said he would and completed the job on time. These days that's saying something. They installed the grass and a brick border. We are really happy with our new lawn! About 3 months after he completed the work, I was putting in some landscape granite and found some leftover grass roots and debris that his crew had left behind. He sent someone over the next day to haul it away with no complaints. We had a good experience and would recommend them to others.

Outstanding from start to finish! Rafa at Diamond Stone came to my house to do an estimate and emailed me a quote I was happy with. The final result was 10x better than we imagined it was going to look. They put in artificial grass and a paver patio and porch with decorative landscaping rock and a drip system and planted 8 plants. From my experience, I can't imagine any other company having better timeliness or quality and care for the results and the customer.

We are extremely pleased with the work Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass did in our backyard. We weren't sure what we wanted to do exactly, but knew we wanted to bring some life to our yard and also have a soft grass area for our senior dog. Having Rafa as our project manager was beyond helpful! He came out and listened to our likes/dislikes and offered suggestions. After he left and we had time to discuss the plan further, my husband and I decided we wanted to change some things.
