HISTORY
Established in 2011.
Since 2011, DaBella has grown to become one of the largest home improvement services companies in the United States. Our core purpose is to care for families and their homes. We strive to provide the best customer experience and the best environment for our growing workforce, said CEO, Donnie McMillan, Jr. The explosive growth we have achieved in such a short time period is an incredible story in and of itself. It was only possible because we created a culture committed to helping people realize their vision. Not only the career goals of our own people at DaBella, but also for those homeowners who we serve every day.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
In our industry, it's common for people to talk about the dream of one day owning their own business, often driven by the desire to make a lot of money. The start to our story, however, is different. It entails a motivated, young family who had worked in the home improvement industry but envisioned a different kind of home services company. The goal was not just to build a business, but to create an extended family, where employees, suppliers and most importantly, customers, were part of the family.
Not coincidently, the company was founded at the same time as the family was blessed with twins. In fact, the name of the company comes from a combination of their names -- David and Isabella. But DaBella is so much more than a company's name. From the beginning it has been a second family name for employees. It's the nameplate of a company who works in the name of families.

Sales rep came over. Measured windows. We discussed project. I said give me a quote.
Finally after 2 1/2 hrs quote changed 5 times. I said I'm done. Another 45 min in n off phone with higher up sales rep left. Even had to call saying leaving while still in my house. Very frustrating experience. Sales rep knew her stuff but attitude completely changed when finally figured out I wasn't buying that night. After reading other reviews lots of people have had this same experience and work done is not what they say it's going to be.
A man came to my door an said my roof needed replaced. The next day 2 salesmen came to the house and did an assessment. It was determined the roof had weather damage. After A LONG sales pitch and a price of $19,500.....cash and no positive conversation using my home insurance, I requested several times they leave and let me think. They would not stop the hard sales approach. They would not leave. I wanted to get a second opinion. The young salesman WOULD NOT STOP. I ended up threatening to call the police to have them leave.
A hour or so later the older salesman was back, alone, apologizing for you young ones approach. And he had a new lower price of $15,000 and still no talk of insurance.
I called another company. They xane out the next day and were polite and kind. They did all the paperwork and my roof has been replaced for my home insurance deductible......
DaBella has called 4 times now asking if I'm ready to get the work done. Each phone call I've told them it was completed by another company. They will not stop calling. Its done.
Do NOT do business with these shisters. They say they can make whatever you want then try to push you into something else. They say you agreed to a change order but of course there is no change order. They say it just comes up in their computer this way but they know what you want and will do it correctly but they lie. You will be very sorry if you choose this company. Tempted to put my phone number here. DONT USE THEM because they will be using you.
Very high pressure sales....Bryce and Gustavo....Out of Flagstaff AZ....I will never do business with this company for roof replacement.
Hi we had them over for a estimate it went from 50,000 to 30,000 for roof replacement as the worker was in our attic she had broke the entry do I almost in half , after they left I called and were going to replace it the next day well 1 week later no call no show , in my opinion I would not recommend them , not honest people when she knew she broke it , i do not recommend this roofing co at all very pushy people and like I said not honest going in the attic no mask yet said we had alot of organic matter
High pressure sales reps, check with BBB on line, they will take your deposit and not return it
My god what racket these people are running. They are preying low information people to ask for over the moon prices. Almost 70k for a 1900sq foot house. After they hook you up on their payment plan you will have spent 110 plus thousand dollars for a roof. My entire house was built for 255k even with adjustment for today inflation those numbers DO NOT ADD UP.
They pick apart anything they don't like with your roof and tell you it's on the verge of failing. Mind you my roof/house is 7 years old and all I wanted was an inspection for hail damage. They seen it but said it was from shingle failure. Ummmm...I live here, my neighbors all had the same damage. Then they take it one step further and try to tell you that your airflow is causing issue with your rafters because my contractor who has 30 plus years of successful business doesn't know what he's doing.
I just about lost it laughing when these two so called roof experts pulled out a brand new folding ladder from a car then set it up at a 45 degree angle to cat walk up onto the roof....clowns both of them.
Everyone please do your research on what a roof should cost and don't let them tell you it's because it's all American made. I question that statement itself however I do buy as much as I can find American made and it is never that much more expensive than the stuff from other places.
For comparison my roof quotes according to others should only be 12-16k. Like others here said they want to sell you an idea not a roof.

Gave an estimate of $30,000 for a new roof then said they could go down to $26,000 after I said definitely NO. The guy left the he called and gave an estimate of $20,000. Company is garbage. Don't waste your time or money here.
Great training, great work environment and always helping us grow and be of better service to our home owners

Zac arrived late for our appointment but called to explain his GPS had misled him. This was not unexpected as many others have encountered this same issue. He was later able to use a high-tech tool to accurately measure our roof. His price was not the cheapest, but it was reasonable, and the system and 50-year warranty were the best. We are looking forward to an uneventful project.

Absolute garbage, the windows and doors they install are already in a THICK frame and end up making all your windows and doors smaller. the salesmen tell you everything is made in house and they stand by their product and even offer a double lifetime warranty but when you have an issue its a circle of we dont cover that, we can give you a number to reach out to but the labor isnt covered.
The back sliding door is on plastic tracks and you can see it move up and down when you open and close the door. This is the second issue I have had with the same door and the first time they to came out and looked at the door and the rep said it was broken and they would send someone to repair it, I got a call the next day stating that the rep claimed the dogs ran into the door and it was broken because of my dogs and tried to deny coverage of the cheap thin plastic roller that it sits on.
This company will lie to your face and promise you everything is taken care of and rave about the warranty and you wont have to worry about anything. Yet here I am making payments on a broken screen door after being denied a second time from them.
they also offer a discount on services for a 5 star review on all the main webpages people look so dont believe all the 5*s out there, those are just digital coupons
We called DaBella for a quote for our roof to be done later this year. Carla Gibson and Mark Lacy came out to provide us with a detailed inspection of the roof; an explanation of the mechanical processes; and a financial rundown of options. Both individuals were superb in their presentation. They demonstrated excellent knowledge of the mechanical processes and financial options available. Then presentation was logical and comprehensive without useless filler informations. They move through the material professionally and made sure through our questions and occasionally a question from them that everyone stayed up with the information. Yet the were never condescending. What started out as one of five quotes turned into a roofing project. Good job Carla and Austin.

DO NOT HIRE THEM. ALEJANDRO, OUR SALES REP REFUSED TO LEAVE OUR HOME AND MADE THIS INTO A 3 HOUR PROCESS JUST FOR A QUOTE THAT THEY TRY TO FORCE YOU TO SIGN THE SAME TIME THEY COME TO GIVE THE QUOTE.
This was the most unprofessional company I've ever came in contact with. They showed up at 12pm for my roof quote and did an inspection. They did whatever they needed to do, then came inside to show pictures and give us a quote. We had two sales reps that came, one had just finished training, which the main representative reminded us of every time he sent the new guy outside.
I believe the man who was the main sales rep that came was named Alejandro. He was the worst of the worst when it comes to sales people. There is a stereotype for a reason, but dang did he blow the stereotypes out of the water. He took the whole never take no for an answer to the extreme. At a car sales lot, at least you can just leave but he refused to leave my home. After about 45 minutes of them explaining why it's important to understand that you pay for the quality work you want and discrediting all other companies, we realized it would not be a good fit. I didn't need a sales pitch. And if they are going to do it, it doesn't need to be 45 minutes. I just need to know what they recommend for repair, the products available, and how much it will cost.
By the time they finally gave us the quote, we realized they were just covering for the fact that they wayyyyy overcharge. We told them going into it we were just getting quotes but we can get into that in a second. We've gotten other quotes all of which ranged from $10,000 to $12,000. He quotes us $26,000. I asked him what made his company worth $14,000 more, and he referred to the quality of workers and product. However his product was the exact same as other companies I've received quotes from and they had the same qualifications for employees. After we basically told him no, he tried to start getting our financial information in order to run our credit. We refused and then he said okay I jsyt need to call my manager.
He then went on to call his manager (who knows who he actually called) to loudly sit on my couch and keep repeating their sales points to the phone. Clearly just trying to keep selling to us through his phone call. After a few minutes of being sick of this, we told him we had a reservation we had to get to and we appreciate his time but we need to go. He then said oh they just had a reservation pop up out of no where to the phone and continued not to leave. We then all got our shoes on and ready to go as he continued. Once we were ready, I told him that I will walk him out. He was still on the phone doing the same thing refusing to leave. I got him to walk out and he says ti the person on the phone that we made him leave and he's at the door and needs a last number to give us. He had the number the whole time and was trying to continue to sell us.
Eventually I told him that I understand he's trying to get the sale but I need him to leave and he tried 3 or 4 more times to get me to hire them right then for the project before he finally gave up.
This was the worst experience. Alejandro is the reason people hate sales people. I cannot believe that he would not just accept my answer and leave. Also that he was trying to force me to agree to hire them immediately without considering other quotes. He took up around 3 hours of my and my wife's time for nothing. Most quotes were about 30-45 minute process at the most and I got all the info I needed. They know they are overpriced and need to bully their customers into agreeing. Do not hire this company. Even just getting a quote will make you hate dealing with them.
Dylan and Alan came to my house for an estimate. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They seemed much more up front than other contractors and unappreciated their ideas and would definitely recommend them to homeowners looking for new siding or gutters.

To EXPENSIVE FOR MY BLOOD !!!
Nice Sales Person !!
Showed up on time and showed
Her company's product ..
When Austin came to look at the roof a quote on the roof. Austin sales rep talked us in to a 31k roofing replacement and kept telling us to only us them and don't get more quotes and waste other company time. When we try to cancel the order we only had 3 days to cancel we called over and over, but we got a call on the 3 day saying they have no record of anything on file.. so I had to go down the the office and talk with the GM Thomas and get a cancellation paperwork that stating they have received it and it's been cancelled and the whole time I'm trying to do this they kept trying to sale me and gave me deals. This whole thing feels like a use car dealership with scamy vide. (P..S they sale everything you can get at Home Depot) I'll would recommend Overson Roofing! Mike the GM came out and didn't push me or anything just gave me the information I needed and said they been heard this company is a joke and rip
Joe was incredibly knowledge and gave me a great lesson on roofing 101. The guy is passionate and cares about informing the customer.
Delilah has been great to work with. She came to my house was very friendly and informative. I ended up buying double pane windows because mine are very old and needed to be replaced. It's been a pleasant experience so far. I would recommend this company. I haven't received my windows yet it's going to take about three months, and then I will come back and update this review.

I finally got my windows on August 30th. I think I owe the company a good review. The installation was really good no complaints with that they cleaned up better than i seen any company do work at my house.
I can feel the difference already so much better than what I had, mine were like 42 years old.
High pressure sales, no bids on paper, no card, varied prices, want me to scam my insurance and lock them in as my contractor. Hire local and stay away from contractors with new lifted trucks! A good contractor is usually busy and won't waste your time or theirs.

A TOTAL TIME WASTER!!! The first rep showed up and took TWO hours of my time telling me how wonderful they were. I asked for the price multiple times and he kept saying that he was getting to it. After 2.5 hours, I had another appointment at that point on a completely unrelated issue and he left without giving me the price. They called a couple days later and inquired about how it went, apologized, and begged to send someone else out to give me the price. I told them that's all I needed. He came out and wasted another hour and also left without giving me the price. I firmly believe they are scammers and only actually quote gullible people who haven't had time to educate themselves on what these types of projects cost.
Priscilla was very informative and knowledgeable. Gave me several options for replacement windows with options for payments.
Can't wait to have my new windows installed!
I would give this business less than one star if possible. We had five windows installed and patio door. The customer service after the sale was terrible, it was impossible to get an itemized statement of what was done( I wanted it for tax purposes). I paid for services ( not financed) in excess of 10,000 dollars. Salesman made lots of promises, but didn't follow through on any of them. Told me everything was done here locally, would only have to make one call of any issues came up. After the contract was signed, we had problems ( seemed as though no one in office knew what was happening ( installers and salesmen had no communication, it appeared). We finally got everything installed. First big rain we had, all windows were leaking and patio door. I called them and service representative came out and said installers should have performed leak test after installing. Three days later installed came out and resealed around windows and doors.
Last week we had another big rain and one of windows leaked. Called the office and was told someone would get back to us in 24-48 hrs. No one returned our call, so we called again, and was told we had to submit a claim on their website( non of this was conveyed to us when salesman was sitting at our kitchen table telling us how great this company was, and assuring us if any problems occurred all we had to do was pick up the phone and everything would be handled professionally and expedient. After filling out claim on line I'm told it would take approximately three weeks to address, not fix the issue.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Rude customer service and unwilling to help hardship circumstances. Will lie to keep their sale from 6 months ago. Alside is transparent when you call them, DaBella is not. Asked to talk to a superior and was hung up on for calling them out on windows not produced yet. Alside told me directly they were not and the order was certainly cancellable. Was told to enjoy my divorce and repeatedly hung up on. Alside makes great windows, this is a subpar distributor. I have yet to talk to a superior.
J'Won Vaughn is an extremely personable and friendly young man. He was knowledgeable and a great listener, so he understood what i needed and was ready to work with me to solve my problem.
Purchased DaBella windows and was advised that the sales person would be there to coordinate the entire job. We had to change the original installation date due to family illness. I left messages with the sales person and spoke with a DaBella representative, and no one called us back. . The installer showed up as he never received the messages from the installation company. The windows are great, however, the installer never came back to finish the job. There is foam and shims sticking out under the windows.
It appears that DaBella contracted out the installation to Install Partners, who hired another person to put in the windows. I called DaBella today to find out about the final payment,. Twice there was no answer at all. I let it ring until I was disconnected, . On the third attempt did get an option to leave a message, and received no call back. The windows themselves are a much needed improvement and look great, but the process has been extremely frustrating and I would like to get the job completed.
The salesman was dishonest he changed the contract on interest and he lied stating the loan was not attached to my house. He lied about having to replace most of the wood the reason why the 1100 sq ft roof would cost me 15 k.. This did not include the whole roof. He inconveniently had to come back the next day for signatures and initials, which I stated I had plans. Very aggressive so allowed him back under influence of alcohol that next evening... Interest rate and payment changed payment from $102 to 170. Well my refinance was a bust on my house because the loan was attached and they only put 4 sheets of new wood on my roof. Liars! The partial roof is nice and people they contracted were very good but they done something to make my air condition come on continuously and they tried several times to turn it off and eventually they turned it off. I tried using it weeks later and I had to call the A/C man 200$ later its working. Do not trust this company
We recently had a new tile roof completed in the two day timeline. The entire process was smoothly and efficiently done and the large crew was obviously used to working as a team. Very polite and except for lunch, never stopped moving. They cleaned up the area immaculately daily. We love the high tech Boral Cool Roof system which should save some energy costs in the hot Arizona summers. The tile roof using the original tiles looks better than new, especially with the new dark brown bird stops which admit hot air and start it on its journey to the exit at the roof peaks.
Our sales person Randall spent some time with us explaining the system, and took seventy-five pictures of the roof. This apparently is part of the planning system to allocate material needs? We had other bids and none of them prepped for the job such as this.
We would also like to recognize Thomas and Hailey at the Phoenix office. We had concerns at one point and they went above and beyond to help us realize we made the right decision.
It all started when 2 sales people came to my door selling this roofing system. During their presentation, they handed me this 2 square cloth called Tiger paw and told me if I could tare it in half, I would get a free roof.
As they continued their presentation I worked at the fabric and got it to tare in half, then quarters, then even smaller pieces, the fabric finally fell apart it was 3 ply white cloth with tiger paw printed on it. When I showed them (when I tore it in half) they quickly withdrew their promise but offered a discount. I did't agree with them and basically gave them the we will think about this speech. After they left, I quickly contacted one of their managers who then got me in contact with a regional manager. The manager seemed nice and offered me $18,000.00 off the original system and set up an appointment to sign the papers showing this. I Did sign 2 days later closely reviewing the contract and made sure everything was there, including the removal of the solar panels. They took a deposit of $500 (which was nearly impossible to get back without a Credit Card, glad I used a Credit card.)
Then 2 days later one of the 2 sales people called me and told me they would send me a check to pay the solar company when they reinstall the panels, he told me to sign this waiver that he sent to me as an email. When I looked at my email, it was Addendum for extra work showing them adding the $18,000.00 back onto the original account. I saw what this was, it was a scam, and they where snakes trying to cheat. I called my Attorney, Contacted BBB and called the manager the same day. They basically told me that since I complained, they didn't want to work with me anymore. I was fine with this but I really wanted them to hold up to their original promise really or at least to the discounted promise the second time. After the next day when I spoke to the manager and he told me he wouldn't work with me, I never heard from the company again. They tried keeping the $500 deposit but as I said earlier I had put that on my best credit card (the best customer protection I have is Discover It card) and I disputed the charge, Discover was amazing and returned the money no questions asked.
Thank you Gannon and Colleen..knowing we were in a bind
because of a bad roofer..you came to our aid...not only explaining everything but backing it up in writing....looking forward to our new roof...so professional...a great change from tje crook we were dealing with...

Steve was excellent in explaining the window and door systems. I appreciate having an opportunity to actually feel the difference between the inside temperature and the outside temperature based on the heat lamp demonstration. I am interested in discussing purchasing at the appropriate time for me and my family.

Had DaBella stop by yesterday offering to inspect our roof. Jake was very friendly. Steve completed our estimate today, super friendly and professional. I truly believe that DaBella would be one of the best contractors to complete our re-roofing job. I'll be checking with other contractors but based on my experience today, DaBella is high on my list to complete this work. More to come ... in
I called DaBella because I had noticed one damaged ceramic shingle on my lower roof. Two men showed up this morning but showed no interest in inspecting the roof. They wanted to sell me a new roof with the existing one unseen and claimed that I had to have my neighbors permission for them to change a shingle on my roof. Quote verbatim repairing roofs are not in our scope of business. They were trying to sell me new windows and additional insulation for my whole house which strangely they claimed did not require my neighbor's permission like changing a damaged roof shingle would! I have a law school and mechanical engineering background and have also worked as a construction supervisor in AZ since JAN 2012 but I have never experienced any company in Arizona acting and representing themselves as poorly and disappointingly as DaBella did today. The two sales people who came to my home today representing DaBella were not helpful or even dressed or equipped for what they had been requested to do and their scope of business as they represented it was unethical and basically a upsell bait and switch tactic since I was very clear when i booked their visit exactly what it was that I wanted help with. They could have advised on the phone that I needed my neighbor's permission for them to look at or work on my roof and that unless i bough a complete roof replacement and new windows for my house they would refuse to provide any services that I had called them initially about. I will probably be much better off finding a different and professional construction company that have both the ability and desire to work for their construction and home improvement customers. Caveat Emptor! I will share my abysmal experience today with DaBella with everyone I know and care about because I would prefer as few people as possible had to have the negative experience I had.
Today I had a gentleman named Steven come out to give me an estimate on my roof he was super nice honest with me walk me through everything he was going to do show me pictures he was going to take and very thorough and very nice
I am very honored to be part of the DaBella family. I am most impressed with innovative technology they are bringing to the market in trying to improve the longevity of my home.

After a storm damaged our room I asked DaBella to come out for a quote. Two salesmen came out. They wanted to give me an hour long pitch about how great of a company they were and how a new roof is an investment, blah blah blah. I had to ask them 5 times what the price was, they didn't want to tell me. When they finally did tell me, the price was 3x more than other quotes I got. I told them that the insurance company's estimate was much lower than their quote and that I would need an itemized breakdown to submit to the insurance company. They told me no. They wouldn't give me a breakdown. I went with another company that gave me a reasonable, itemized quote
