We have used Jerry and his company for years and he has been so professional and attentive to our needs. We have used him over the years for everything from outside faucet repair and replacement, shower repair, and RO maintenance. He was able to work us into his schedule last night for an emergency water heater malfunction and replacement and Peg and I could not be more grateful or appreciative. You need to be aware that this company is the real deal, licensed, and competent. Do not be fooled with similar names in the marketplace!!! Cobra ROOTER AND PLUMBING is the place to check out ! I didn't even use their service.. I wish I could copy and paste the audio for the phone call I just had with these people.. i called , he told me the price and I told him more about the broken toilet handle in Scottsdale. I was calling looking for service and then he says "y'all don't have another toilet" (it's an airbnb) and I tell him I'm not really sure what you are getting at we are just needing it fixed.. and he was questioning who sent me to him? And then he says I'm sorry I won't be able to help you I gotta go. ???? Buddy should get in another business then?? Very strange phone call and didn't feel like I was talking to a plumber company just because he was not wanting to service me and asking me questions that were just not helping my situation or in regards to service ..

Beware!!! Horrendous work. !! I called this company for plumbing work and they did horrible work and left my home damaged and do not respond to emails/calls. (See photos)

* i was quoted 1,250 for a toilet replacement/install. I didn't dispute the very high price and I pre-paid this invoice because I knew I might be out of town and didn't want any hiccups. I was NEVER informed that the replacement dimensions would not fit the same as the old toilet, leaving huge gaps everywhere. During the removal/install process the technician didn't use any kind of cautionary protection to ensure no damage was done to my flooring. Chipped and scraped tiles all around the toilet of my freshly remodeled bathroom!! I emailed this company and have called 6 times over a three day period with no response. I can not believe this is the work they consider "acceptable"

I just got off the phone with the most rudest, disrespectful, unprofessional person who answered the phone at Cobra Rooter and Plumbing, I think his name was PAUL. I asked him if he was the owner, he said no. I called because I tried to resolve an issue with billing, as I was OVERBILLED for the actual hours the plumber was here. The guy, Paul, must have realized the mistake and instead of owning up to it he just tore into me and called me all kinds of FOUL NAMES, I assume because he got aggravated that he was called out for a billing error and me pointing out the less than stellar work done as some items were not done correctly: as shark bites are not supposed to be able to twist within the connection to the water lines and the two installed are turning and the single handle faucet was installed in the wrong direction, as the plumber never asked me which direction I wanted it installed. There was other issues as well.
I called to resolve this and I was just ripped into by this awful, foul mouth man. Is that a way to talk to/treat a Senior Citizen?????
DO NOT use Cobra Rooter and Plumbing as they will OVERBILL you for actual hours on the job. The plumber takes breaks constantly, to make calls and drink his "water" outside, during the time he's at your home and then you are billed for his breaks. Cobra Rooter and Plumbing can't even get it right as for the work that was actually performed.
The man that answers the phone, Paul, is very unprofessional, abhorrent individual!!!!!
Only call them if you want to be BERATED as a human being!!!!!

UPDATE: I JUST RECEIVED A THREATENING EMAIL FROM COBRA ROOTER AND PLUMBING STATING THAT IF I POST AN UNFAVORABLE REVIEW THEY CAN CHARGE ME WITH A FOURTH CLASS FELONY, as stated in their email to me that there is some kind of law in Tempe that if a individual posts an unfavorable review they can be charged with a 4th class felony by the business the negative review was posted about. Has anyone ever heard of this?
I'm not in Tempe so the law doesn't apply to me, but to be intimidated in this type of manner by a business is just totally not acceptable!!!!

Called Cobra Rooter and plumbing for a water heater that was shutting off.  They were able to get to the problem within a day after my request.  The repair was done by Mike within an hour or so.  Great communication and fair price!  Thank you!

Jerry, Paul, Adam, and the rest of the Cobra team are the best you'll find.  I've used them personally and for my business and I'm impressed every time.  If you're looking for honesty, integrity, and quality, give this company a call.

They are very busy for a reason. They are the best most honest and experienced plumbers in Phoenix. No one else is close.

We've used Cobra probably 5 times for our older home. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They've installed a water softener, fixed clogs, you name it. And all at extremely reasonable prices. Mike is absolutely wonderful and my dogs seem to adore him also.

I had a leaking toilet which was causing issue with ceiling downstairs in Laundry room. Isreal came out and was early, and took care of the situation. I cringe when I have something go wrong ,  because I live on social security. As usual I was charged a very reasonable amount  and  got a Class A job. Thank you Cobra for your help, service, and great service !

We had Cobra replace a water heater for us. Very professional service technician. Flawless workmanship. Cleaned up after his work was finished. I would highly recommend them.

I don't know that I've ever had a better plumber experience. Everything was  easy and efficient, from scheduling to the service call and even payment was electronic. I definitely recommend this business

They've bailed us out of so many situations including several hair blockages in our pipes. They have great emergency rates and are so responsive even after hours. I'd recommend them to anyone!

They came to check issue and somewhat solved issue(bandaid). After they left, 5 minutes later a different issue popped up from not putting handle back on correct to make water stop fully when turned off and said tough luck. Terrible way to treat a customer!

Had out of town guests and had a mainline block in the middle of the night. Called Jerry first think in the morning they were here by 10:00 am to get things up and running. Very fast and professional as well as very reasonable charges for service. Just wanted to say thank you again for keeping our weekend on track. Really appreciate the prompt service! Called Cobra for a backed up shower...the owner of the company called me immediately and his guys were tied up...so he came out personally and took care of us. Awesome company, great people, great value and will definitely use them again and again.

Great plumbing company. Have been using them for about 3 years now and never disappointed in their service. Recently used them for unclogging a tub/toilet. Got a previous estimate from another plumbing company for $815 including removing the toilet to unclog the blockage. Work was done professionally by Cobra Rooter and Plumbing Service for $115 and did not include having to remove the toilet. Note, the other plumbing service was only called because when son called Cobra Rooter, he got the answering machine and could not leave a message since he was on his way to work, that's why he called another plumbing company. When he informed us of the cost of repair, we told him to call Cobra Rooter and Plumbing again, which he did and did have the phone answered directly by someone who then set up the time to come over to do the repair necessary. Will definitely only use them in the future.

This company is top notch. They've replaced a broken water heater, a garbage disposal, and a faulty shower handle. The best part is they are always over within a couple hours of my call and they charge a reasonable price. If you need quality plumbing service, give Cobra a call.

We had a bathtub and all the shower and tub hardware installed. We received outstanding service. Finally a plumber that you can trust and arrives when scheduled. The price was very fair, not the lowest estimate but by far not the most expensive. We had an issue after the tub was installed and when we reported the issue they were very receptive to our concerns and sent someone to correct the issue the very next day. I will certainly be a long term customer. Highly recommend!

I am beyond impressed with Cobra Rooter & Plumbing and stress to any potential customer to triple check you are using THIS company and NOT the unlicensed copycat handyman in Valley with almost same name.  This Cobra Rooter and Plumbing offered a same day in-person phone consult, next day on-time visit with Adam offering a professional diagnostic of my sewer pipe issue, backed by a decade of experience. He processed entire situation and ruled out some vastly overpriced suggestions. Repair is pending but my impression so far is 5 star. Adam is a superb plumber who loves his craft and took the time to explain the video views. Paul and Jerry care deeply about their company and offer great service w estimate and working w adjustors. Licensed and bonded.

I've used Cobra twice in the past couple months and I'm very happy. My house is older 1958 and both times were situations where I had to shut the water off until repaired. Cobra responded quickly and Mike the Tech, was professional and got the job done quickly and both times for a good price. Will definitely continue to use Cobra.

Great service! Arrived early  and took care of all my little plumbing jobs including my big problem, my backed up kitchen sink, garbage disposal , and dish washer .  Everyone I had contact with was super nice and this was so reasonably priced!!  I now have a plummer I can call for my jobs and refer to my friends!!!

Not sure what happened to this company. They are hiring poorly. Guy came to my house while my sons were home. He asked them if he could use the bathroom for a long visit..ugh. i had 2 toilet issues. He seemed to fix one..was confused on the other and had to figure out the part at Home Depot. Kids said he was out of it. About 2 days later the toilet starting running again. I called and they weren't available for a few days and then came out to fix it. I just got a water bill for $800 for that month. I reached out to the company to let them know. No response. I reached out again to see if they would at least refund my repair visit since it didn't work. Again, no response. This company may have gotten positive reviews a long time ago, but i wouldn't use them now. Sad to see when customer service goes down the drain.

I have used this company for years.  They never disappoint and are very reliable and affordable.  One of the best in the service industry.

As straight forward and fair as you can get. He saved us from tearing our master bathroom apart.

We have used this company several times over the last few years and they come out prompt even on weekend or emergencies and their prices are reasonable. However The person that comes out complains much of the time he is here.

Our house was built in the 50's and it has some quirks and the pipes are difficult to snake, I know this because I have tried to do it myself. I would rather do it myself but there are times when I need a professional, and a professional does not complain the entire time they are here and make it appear that the clogs are our fault. We do our best to not put oil and grease down the pipes but for whatever reason about every 3 years they all clog up. We have tried enzyme treatment (as suggested by cobra) but that did not work.

I also do not like being second guessed, when I ask for a service to be done I expect it to be done even if it appears to not be needed. So a problem that I requested service on was not fixed and still exists. Now I will need to find another plumber.

Called Cobra on a Friday night about a toilet not flushing.  The gentleman who answered was courteous.  Since I had other usable restrooms it would be better for me to wait for regular work hours on Saturday than to pay the after hours charge that night.  On Saturday morning the plumber came about when predicted.  Very courteous as well.  He discovered the problem, which a little bit more complex than I had originally thought.  But the solution was simple and he went about clearing the main line.  
Because we were having a party on Sunday I was a little panicked on Friday night.  Worried more about a working  toilet than the cost of the plumber.  But I didn't want my wallet emptied either.  That's why I was pleasantly surprised when he gave me the invoice.  It was way below what I expected.  Just the standard price for the service performed.
This company gave me great service.  Honest, fair, and affordable.  

I will use them again.

Came out next day to replace a valve. Friendly! For the job I had done, quotes went anywhere from 150-800.  Cobra rooter was one of the companies that have the cheaper prices... $150. Job was done quickly and im happy with the work performed. Thank you cobra rooter

Excellent!!!  Adam was so quick and efficient I would definitely recommend cobra rooter to anyone. Just make sure you call the right one as there is another one called cobra.

I cannot say enough about this company. I dealt with Paul & Jerry regarding an "emergency" sewer relocation. It actually wasn't an emergency but I needed the re-routing done asap before my pool company could excavate. They went above and beyond responding to my requests, calling me, following up, and then Jerry knocked out the work in less than 2 hours the next day! And he did a superb job. Always friendly, always professional. Such a great company I highly recommend for anything. Especially if it's a last minute project. They took very good care of me and our home. Thank you Cobra!!

I found Cobra Rooter Plumbing through Angie's List.  I paid for a deal in advance, kind of like a Groupon, via Angie's list.  I was very happy to connect with Jerry the owner. To keep this short, he came out on a Saturday with in 2 hours notice, to do a electric power snake of my very blocked up pipes.  My bathroom sink kept overflowing when the folks upstairs turned on their water.  My floor was getting flooded..He was amazing, worked very hard, and checked everything was working great.  Cleaned up all with a smile.  He did not charge a penny more.  I got a great service, for only 90 dollars.  I would highly recommend this company.  This company is honest, affordable, and reliable to do a great job. I am one very happy customer.

I've used them before with ok results but this past one sucks.  They had been out twice in 2 wks.  the original problem still wasn't fixed.  When I got home last night I spent an hour cleaning up leftover backup residue. I also spent an hour cleaning up the at least one quart of water still standing under the sink (probably causing mold).  Then I went to use the kitchen sink & ran disposal & low & behold the water again came up in the bathroom sink ( 1 sink in each bath - not both sinks).  I called again & the man who answered said I would pay double time if they came out last night.  I said I not only wasn't paying double, I wasn't paying anything.  He said he would talk to the manager in the morning.  I said I would just call the BBB.  20 min later I got a call from the plumber & he said he would be back.  
He came back & it appeared he finally cleared the problem between the kitchen & the baths.  BUT when I went to use my bathroom toilet I stepped in standing water.  I used 2 toilet paper rolls to soak up water.  And now I hear water under my Pergo flooring.  Not Good.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Long story long after weeks of meeting with plumbers, licensed and unlicensed I contacted Jerry.
Believe me in a few short weeks I've seen it all (job was such that it needed a quote/plumber to see the situation before taking it on). I've had people a few hours late to no shows, plumbers on crack or whatever else drugs they may do, to others saying it can't be done or they wouldn't want to do it, quotes from $400 to $1500, hours to complete from 2 to 2 days. To make things more difficult it was a condo building, so water has to be turned off to multiple units.
These guys are fantastic (Israel was the plumber assigned to my job), on time, super professional and friendly (no smelly, exposed crack plumbers here), work completed in half the time they estimated and the work area left so tidy I had nothing to clean. Did I mention that their price was on the low end?!

We've used this company multiple times and always have great results. We had a major leak, they came promptly and didn't charge me and arm and a leg.

I have used this plumbing company twice now. Each time, the serviceman was prompt and courteous, getting to the problem at hand and explaining everything to me that he was fixing. He showed me how to clean the line so that I did not need to make calls in the future. He also checked but did not fix/overcharge for things that really did not need to be done when correcting things on an inspection report pre-house sale. Prices were more than reasonable. I will not use another company!

We have an older home (1956) that uses the old, original orangeburg piping for the sewer line. Our sewer started backing up into the yard a few months ago and we had called the plumber we've been using the last 5 years of owning this home. They came out and said part of the pipe was crushed and they didn't feel comfortable doing a patch because of the orangeburg. They quoted us close to $6000 to replace it down to the street and said the price would only go up from there if they had to go into the street to continue the fix. We had them clear the line which fixed the problem temporarily until the same problem start again a little while ago. We called Cobra Rooter to come out and give us a quote and second opinion. The owner, Jerry, came out right away and looked at the pipe that had been uncovered previously. He said he would start by clearing the clog and then see if a patch was possible. The next day he was able to clear the clogged drain and did a really nice patch of the pipe for only $280. He did quality work at an extremely fair price. It's nice to find someone who is honest and hard working. We will be only using Cobra Rooter from now on and will be referring anyone who needs a plumber to check them out. Jerry and his company saved us thousand and did a stellar job on the repair.
