This was the BEST customer service experience I have had to date in Anchorage. Dave the Plumber was outstanding. I was stressed because of a tight deadline for plumbing repair because I'm selling my house. He came over same day I called, assessed the situation, found a solution and returned 2 days later to fix it. Pricing was more than fair and he was pleasant, has a great attitude. I would recommend him, in a heart beat!

Blake is an honest and hardworking man. The water heater in our property needed to be replaced and he was one of the few companies with the availability and affordable. After wasting all day waiting for the other guys, the other guys called at 3:00 p.m. stating they were too busy and had to reschedule. Apparently, my business isn't as important. It was worse than waiting for the cable guy! I told them not to bother and I would not be rescheduling. My time is important too. I should have called Blake's in the first place. Lesson learned! I called Blake, an actual appointment was made, and he was there exactly when he said he would be.

I have an old, 1952 home with surprises every time you install something or look behind a wall. This time it was a bathroom vanity and 'interesting' plumbing. Blake had all the tools and knowledge necessary to tackle the beast. You have to be a clever plumber in these kinds of homes. He'd been down this road before! He got right to work and made it happen. Now I have a happy husband (he tried the install first time), a vanity that doesn't leak, and a good looking bathroom!

Not only was the job done well, but Blake also cleaned up after himself and was a super nice guy! Coming from a family of small business owners, I always appreciate hard-working, honest and friendly proprietors. They are hard to come by anymore.

Don't start with the other guys. Call Blake's Plumbing and Heating. You won't be disappointed!

Blake is an honest plumber. In the home services industry that's a rare find. He's friendly, professional, on time, polite and actually pretty funny too. I won't have to use Yelp again to find a plumber but if you're reading this review you probably don't have a go-to plumber yet so stop stressing about your plumbing problems and give Blake a call!

Blake has a friendly personality and arrived at my home 15 minutes after I called. You just don't get this kind of attention to detail in Anchorage. He fixed my issue swiftly and we spent a lot of time just shooting the bull.

Not happy what so ever.  Didn't feel like he put any effort into diagnosing my hot water tank.  He clicked the pilot light button about five times and told me it was shot. And that was all.  Wanted to charge me $1700 for a new tank. Called another guy and got the tank going and fixed my furnace all for $200.   What else is there to say.  I was very upset.

Called many plumbers on Friday morning hoping to get same day service. I know, it's like looking for a unicorn. Blake answered an early phone call and was at my house by noon. His quality of work was top notch and his attitude was professional. I would recommend Blake's Plumbing & Heating to anyone.

Very nice, friendly and knowledge person. However. I received a slightly lower price to replace my boiler.

The guys are very knowledgeable and do educate and answer your question. There are two guys and charge you 130 per guy per hour. They don't clean up after their services and do not remove their shoes. They come in, do their work and leave their mess for you to clean up.

I messaged Blake's Plumbing late at night due to an emergency water leak we had in our heating system. He messaged me quickly and let me know he was out of town and couldn't assist us. He was able to refer me to someone that could assist us.

This company has excellent customer service and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Doesn't honor his work.   Bought a place where he serviced one of the furnaces and it doesn't work.  He won't come out and look at it without charging me and looked at it just over a month ago ..told me to call the owner of the home.  I am calling Denali HVAC they stand by their work always

Update - just had Denali HVAC come fix my furnace ..it had to be cleaned as Blakes forgot that important detail ..my furnace is now working like a champ!

Haven't even hired the guy yet. Just texted and asked some questions. Answered right away. Asked multiple questions and he replied to all. I went to many in store heating places, but I received more thorough and honest suggestions from him. When I find my part, most definitely will be using him for my services. Exceeded expectations, you don't get that much or at all these days.

I wanted to leave a review for Blake's Plumbing after having him tackle some long overdue projects we've wanted addressed. All the previous reviews are completely true! Blake solved all the plumbing issues, gave good solid advice, was extremely patient with all of my questions, his charges are very reasonable, and he's just a nice guy! We most definitely will be calling him in the future and highly recommend him.

Blake just left my house after fixing four problems in three hours, including replacing a $25 mixing valve instead of an entire water heater, solving the issue of drastic fluctuation in our water temperature. He showed me several tricks in the process, and didn't charge for having a second person here. I couldn't be happier with his service; he was able to squeeze us in a day earlier than we had agreed on and is extremely responsive to calls and texts, even getting on FaceTime with me while I was at Lowe's looking for a part (which he recommended doing to save me a few bucks).

We'll definitely be calling him next time we need a plumber. (Also, if you talk to Blake he'll be happy to address the bad review below. It sounds like a bunch of you-know-what...)
